*slam* Sunny shuts the door once Everypony gets in the room, Everypony proceeds to gasp for air
“I really wish my magic wasn't being so stubborn, I could have really used out there *sigh* it's like there's something about me that’s blocking it … *
Izzy chimes in “Aww , don't worry Sunny! Everypony is still getting used to magic after it has been gone for so long… Like me! You see , I pointed my horn at a glass jar, and it turned into a tea cup! A tea cup!!! “
“Oh, I was just trying to fill it up with water, I was really thirsty…”
“Wow, such a great example Izzy, you must've been so distraught” Zipp says sarcastically
“No, Not really, at least I have a new cup to add to my collection”
Hitch and Sunny both slap their hooves on their foreheads in embarrassment
Izzy looks at them and shrugs at them in confusion , “So what now?”
Hitch stares at the sheriffs badge on his chest “even as the so-called protector, im pretty powerless, especially after sprout Resigned “
“Nope, completely on his own terms , last thing that came out of his mouth to me was imsorryaboutwhathappenedimagoopenafarmersmarket, quite confusing actually, but eh it’s whatever…”
“Okay okay, but seriously without dodging the question, what are we supposed to do now?” Zipp says concerningly”
* A sound of a crowd draws near, then dies out, then… *Knock Knock*
“Who could that be?” Sunny says in confusion
“OH OH I think that's the pizza delivery stallion, I think I may have forgotten to cancel my order from Pizza Strut… hehe”
“You can't out pizza the Strut that's for sure”
Sunny opens the door slowly and to her surprise… “Uh, Izzy? This is definitely not the pizza you ordered”
“Huh?”
A strange earth Pony stallion arrives at the doorstep, he is taller than average , his coat consists of lighter blues and his mane is a lighter purple and it's all finished off with a white muzzle
“Do you… mind if I come in?” He says calmly and a little nervously
“Of course, come take a seat” Sunny said while gesturing to where everypony else was.
“I see now, he’s too cute to be a pizza stallion” Izzy whispered to Pipp as they both giggled
Unfortunately , Sunny heard this and gave them a side-eye , with a slight blush on her face
“So… How can we help you, Mr… ?
“Moonscout, but you can just call me Magami” The stallion says
Sunny does a double take as she hears the last name “thats… interesting” she thinks to herself
“To be completely honest , I have no idea… this is the first time i've left home , I thought I would visit the other side of Equestria to see what's happening and… now i'm here, I was kind of wondering if you could do me a solid and tell me why everypony outside looks like they want to kill each other… “
Sunny and the other 4 properly introduce themselves and proceed to explain the situation
“Oh okay, basically a no government no control type of situation, I see”
“Pretty Much”
“Um, if you wouldn't be opposed to it, I could try to help…” Magami says politely
Sunny sighs relievedly “We could really use it, were fresh out of ideas and have no plan”
“Great, let's go then !”
Magami opens the door “You heard me everypony, Lets roll out! Go go go!
Magami and the other 5 rush out the door and the adrenaline kicks in
“Okay, Maretime Bay is separated into 3 districts , all named aptly,
Zipp and Hitch , Im assigning you to district 1, rally up everypony and get them to the front of the canterlogic headquarters
Izzy and Pipp , You are assigned to district 2 , It is a little further away to the headquarters, but you shall still do the same.
Last but definitely not least , Sunny , Your with me , were hitting up district 3, This will be the hardest since it's the furthest away from the headquarters and its where I saw the majority of the fighting happening
“Everypony, are we ready?!” Magami exclaims
“Yes Sir!” the 5 say in unison
Go!
Everypony breaks into a run to their assigned areas, looking to fulfill their orders
Sunny runs alongside Magami, frequently glancing at him while hiding a small smile
They arrive at the center of the destination, Magami notices a megaphone in a display window for a store, the glass was already broken due to the fighting
“Hey Sunny, could you go and grab that megaphone for me?”
“Of course!” Sunny rushes to the window and picks it up, and hoofs it over to Magami
“This is perfect…”
Magami then realizes it's out of batteries “Darn, So close to a perfect score”
Sunny giggles while reaching into her saddle bag , pulling out a pair of batteries
“Oh wow, guess i'm wrong, now, let's roll!”
They both get to the center again and Magami pulls out the megaphone
“Get ready for this”
A loud alarm sound plays from the device, stopping everypony in their tracks
Then Magami switched to the voice feature
“Stand down this instant ! Follow Sunny and I or you will see real Discipline! Magami shouted menacingly
All the ponies in the area rushed to form a line , as Magami and Sunny broke into a run once again with a long line of ponies following them
“That wasn't too bad , was it?” Magami commented
“How did you do that?” Sunny said ,amazed at what just happened
“Fair Enough”
Magami and Sunny arrive at the headquarters , shifting in between the entire populous of Maretime bay ,Magami finally finds the stairs to the small overlook at the entrance
He pulls out his megaphone and proceeds to get everypony's attention
“Alright listen up, My name is Magami Moonscout , and at approximately 5:00 PM today, I arrived here in Maretime bay to a scene of complete chaos and disorder, so… Here's what we're gonna do…
First of all, we need to establish authority, luckily, im here , and that means if I hear of any violent actions I will provide justice, and if anypony encounters a misunderstanding with another, I advise you to take it up with our sheriff's office
As for our sheriff's office, we are quite lacking in that regard. I hereby announce that there will be one station for every district, if you are looking for a job opportunity in justice or law enforcement, I ask that you look into that avenue .
I will be appointing a Board of supervisors and Advisors, in the meantime , please take up any issues or concerns with me.
Alright, Any questions?”
One earth pony raised his hoof angrily “Why do we have to listen to anything you say”
Some other ponies nodded in agreement and shouted “yeah!”
*Sigh* “Well you see , if you don't , You are going to prison”
Everypony went silent
“Okay, seems like everything is clear , thank you for your patience and I hope we can create a safe and enjoyable environment for Everypony in Maretime bay, You are now dismissed”
Surprisingly , Some ponies started to cheer , more joined in and then it was a whole ordeal
After Everypony separated and trotted off to their respective districts, Magami and the other 5 met up once again
“OMG OMG OMG that was so crazy and fun but scary but fun” Izzy Hyperventilated
“Okay Izzy, You can calm down now” Zipp said while patting Izzy’s back
“I'm glad I had my phone, I got the whole thing recorded”
“Seriously Pipp, give the stallion a break, i'm sure he doesnt want all of Equestria raving about his amazing leadership skills”
“That was pretty amazing Magami!” Sunny said with a smile on her face
“It's what I do I guess”
“Prison huh?” Hitch asked curiously
“Oh yeah… about that … that was a lie, but hopefully given some time we could have a facility dedicated to that”
“I don't even blame you for doing that at this point” Sunny remarked
“Oh well, guess I gotta find a place to stay for the night, i'm low on bits so I might have to do with a crappy hostel or something”
“Hold on just a minute , so you just essentially saved us all by bringing order to Maretime bay and You think were just let you stay in a cheap place? No way, come with us, we have a spare room in the Brighthouse” Sunny said exasperated
“Oh, that’s okay, I probably have made a lot of enemies today, best to make sure nothing will get to you”
“It wasn't a question, come with us, now”
“Yes Ma’am”
“Sunny?”
“Oh , Hey, what are you doing up ?”
“Couldn't sleep very well, and I was curious about the sound the lift was making, guess I know why now “
Sunny smiles at Magami tiredly
“Hey, uh I just wanted to let you know I really admire what you did out there today”
“Oh, It was nothing”
“I dont think so”
Sunny walks over to Magami and gives him a tight, warm hug
“Thank you”

“You have GOT to be kidding me”
Magami sits behind a large desk in the makeshift town center hall of Maretime bay, with a line of concerned, confused and angry ponies going out the door and onto the street
Sunny and the gang saw this from a nearby building
“This definitely doesn't look good at all” she said with a concerned look on her orange face
“Let's get in and sort it out then” Zipp suggested
“Sure, but how are we supposed to…”
“Follow me”
Sunny and the rest of the gang followed Zipp to the back of the building , where an employee entrance was located.
“Okay, that's a solution, but we don't have a …”
Hitch pushed his way up and bucked the door frame with his back hooves, allowing the door to fall over
“Key…” Sunny said while smacking her hoof on her forehead, laughing in the process”
The 5 of them entered the back of the hall, and started searching around for a room with a most likely very distressed stallion residing in It.
The walls of the hall were very sound proof and it was hard to detect where commotion was happening, luckily, Pipp had an idea…
“Let me check if there's somepony that is streaming that is in the line”
“Oohh good idea! Then we can find where the cafeteria is!” Izzy said with her bubbly voice
“Haha, No Izzy, we're here to check in on a friend”
“Aha, it's this way!” Pipp put her phone away and started trotting down the hall and into a corner with a door that read “Do Not enter, government authority only”
“That’s got to be It!” Sunny exclaimed excitedly “Hitch, you know what needs to be done”
“Yes ma’am”
Once again, a door fell flat on the ground. In the middle of the room was Magami, who looked like somepony that hasn't seen daylight in a Millenia.
“Okay Everypony” Sunny yelled and got all of the guests attention
“President Magami here is going to be closed for questions at this time, thank you for your time”
The other 4 guided the guests out the door and onto the street, returning to the room and locking the door.
“What… I’m…” Magami muttered tiredly
“Done for a while, we’ll make sure of that” Sunny said soothingly as she rubbed his shoulder empathetically
“How long was I doing that for?”
“Long enough”
“Fair point”
“Listen, if you ever need us to intervene or help out in any way, please don't hesitate, you have done so much for the bay already , you deserve some leisure”
“Yeah, well , I still got this paperwork to get through” Magami said while pointing at a medium-sized pile of papers
“We can keep you company while you work on those” Pipp suggested
“Actually, i’d really like that, thank you”
And so it came to be , the 5 of them dispersed throughout the room finding something to do.
As Pipp set her phone on the shelf and pressed record, she started to sing, not anything with lyrics but just a gentle melody to lighten the mood.
Zipp , as the inherent detective she is, rummaged through some old case files from different points of history and started to read through them, like all of them.
Hitch found a couple of pots with soil in them and started to practice the newfound earth pony magic that has manifested.
Izzy scavenged the room for any unused material or object and started to “Unicycle”, which is apparently just making trinkets and Knick knacks out of junk.
Sunny, unlike the rest of them , decided to stay close to Magami; Sunny watched as he filed a variety of documents including: acquisition of authority (who knew becoming a leader could get so political all of a sudden), airspace rules and agreements (These are specifically for those untrained Pegasi that try testing out their new flight abilities near tall buildings), and many more.
This is all well and good ,However, Sunny’s reflexes were telling her to find another way to comfort him and relieve the stress “Should I?” she thought to herself
“Eh, screw it”
She began to rub her hooves behind his mane and underneath his shoulder blades, Giving him a nice massage .
It was immediately apparent that this indeed had worked, as Magami gave a relaxed sigh and laid back a bit.
“Thank you, I … actually really needed that”
“You are very welcome”
An hour had passed and Everypony had somehow fallen asleep, except Sunny and Magami…
Well, to be honest, they were sleeping as well, it’s different because …
Magami opened his eyes for a moment and felt a weight on his shoulder, Sunny had fallen asleep with her head and body rested comfortably on his side
“Im… not even gonna bother her, just let her do her thing I guess” he thought to himself
As everypony woke up, they realized it was the next day and all exited the building as a group.
On the top of the Brighthouse, Sunny and Magami once again sat and conversed
“Well that sure was an eventful day i’d say” Sunny said to Magami with a cute smile
“Eventful yes, easy no, worth it , Yes” Magami said smiling back
“I don't even remember what happened for like the last hour” She said
“Oh, you all were asleep, so was I”
“Ohhh yeah, then I woke up then…” Sunny gave an embarrassed look to Magami, as he chuckled and said
“What do you dream about Sunny?”
She thought for a moment “My friends, My dad…”
She stared down at the ground for a moment and … a tear dropped from her eye
Magami felt his heart beating hard, he felt bad for the mare and wanted to comfort her.
“Sunny… Im… sorry for your loss”
“It’s okay… It just sucks because you always hear from others the importance of family, but my family is just… nonexistent”
The tears then turned into a sorrowful, quite cry as she looked up at the sky
Magami then knew what to do… He closed the distance between himself and her, and proceeded to give her a tight, warm hug.
“Sunny, Its going to be okay
I… am going to tell you something”
“Huh?” she said with a shaky voice, pressing her head into his mane
“You 5 really saved me today, you also… made me feel really special”
“Really?”
“Of course, you knew I needed a break from the chaos and acted upon empathy, which I appreciate wholeheartedly. It’s honestly almost like… we’re all family somehow”
Sunny’s face cleared up and a smile began to emerge
“I think you are right”
The two separated and said their goodnights , Magami looked back and said to himself
“Hm…, that mare…”
He paused for a second
“She needs me”

8:00am
“Good Morning Sunny!”
Magami exited the guest room , as Sunny waited for him outside his door.
“Good Morning to you too” she said with a grin on her face
“Alright, what happened”
“Oh, Nothing, I was wondering if you might want to hang out for the day?”
“Um sure, I guess I don't really have much planned at all”
“So it’s a yes?”
“Sure, yeah “
“Ok!”
She took his hoof and dragged him across the bay, He couldn't really do much but silently abide by her demands. They finally arrived at a small park and hopped up on a bench.
“So… is there any specific reason we're here?”
“Nope, just wanted to relax and have lunch” Sunny said while pulling 2 sandwiches out of her bag.
“Where's my Grape Smoothie with whipped topping?” Magami said with a smirk on his face
“Haha, very funny, maybe some other time” She said as she gently hit him on the shoulder and giggled.
“Ah, So that’s how it’s gonna be” Magami laughed as he took one of the sandwiches and started eating, He thought to himself “Dang, Food definitely does taste better when it was made by the mare you like”
He quickly got back to his senses when he felt sunny shouldering him lightly.
“Huh?”
“Who are those 2 ponies waving at you?”
Magami then spotted a gray Pegasus stallion with a green mane ,who was with a mare that had similar fur, but with a darkish rose pink mane , both having grins on their faces while closing the distance.
Magami quickly realized the pair, His friends from his Hometown, Deadshot and Rose Valentine!
They ran towards him happily and Magami greeted them both with hoof bumps.
“What are you two doing here?”
“Oh , were not here for anything specific, were just curious what goes on around these parts” Deadshot said
“And who is the lovely mare beside you?” Rose Valentine asked , with a slight giggle.
“I’m Sunny , nice to meet you!”
“OH, aren't you the Pony that like , brought back magic n stuff”
“Yeah… that was me hehe”
“Well, it's nice seeing you both,” Magami said, ushering sunny to wrap the conversation up.
“Actually, Magami, If I could speak to you in private for a moment” Deadshot said suspiciously
They moved to a secluded part of the park where the 2 mares couldn't hear them
“What’s up?”
“ I saw your Girl yesterday with another Stallion, He had a sheriff’s badge and they looked like they were getting along really well”
“You were here yesterday?”
“Yeah, we didn't know you were over here being a political figure”
“Sure, okay. Anyways… she's not really “My” Girl, at least not officially”
“C’mon Bro, I saw the way she looks at you and the way you look at her”
“Did you?”
“Trust the source, Dude”
“Um, okay, anyways, your talking about Hitch”
“Do you feel threatened or intimidated by him?” Deadshot said earnestly
“Not at all, they are just childhood friends after all”
“Riiiight, okay” He said looking like he was noting something down
“Well, it's been real”
“So it has”
The two stallions returned to the two mares who were giggling about something .
“Okay Sunny, what did I miss?” Finally seeing her face again, he said this while smiling.
“Rose here was just telling me that when you were a colt , you used to yell so loud that you could shut up a whole room of other crying foals, Guess the trait carried on haha”
Magami rolled his eyes ,keeping a smile.
“What’s that mean?” the pair said in near unison
“Oh, just that he united the bay, creating and effective and powerful governing system free of discrimination and prejudice” Sunny said as though she was bragging, which she most likely was.
“Oh really?” Rose said curiously
“Eyup, Best not to dwell on it, Anyways we're gonna get going then, great seeing you both”
As they parted ways Sunny looked back at them
“They are definitely a unique pair”
“I could say the same about us”
“What was that ?” Sunny said knowing fully what he said
“Oh… Nothing”
“This is the most I have seen you smile ever, what up?” Sunny asked curiously
“Why? Is that a bad thing?”
“Not at all! I like seeing you happy! I just may have noticed that the conversation seemed tense between you and Deadshot, and once you came back and saw me you were in a really good mood”
“Sunny… honestly, I was just glad to see your face again”
“Glad to see me?”
“How could I not be? You wanted to spend the day together , then my friends came up and took away from our time, it kind of… I don't know… bummed me out? I was eager to be with you”
“Awww, Magami…”
“I know, it's Sappy… But I at least want to be truthful, you are a really amazing pony to be around”
“We should do it more often then” said Sunny as she gave him a wink
“I'd really like that”
Magami and Sunny headed back to the brighthouse , Sunny went to her room and lied down deep in thought.
“Wow, that was… surely something, at least he feels the same…”
8:00 Pm
Magami was strolling solo near the sheriff’s office, He saw Hitch and thought to himself
Hitch locked the door of the office and turned around. A strange ,loud vehicle was heading towards him
On the other hoof, Magami saw this and instantly figured out what was happening
A loud bang went off and a object of immeasurable speed flew past Hitch’s head , as he barely dodged it
The vehicle sped off into the distance as Both Magami and Hitch sat there struck with shock.
“What Was That?!” Hitch murmured
“Trouble”
A few minutes later, Magami got a phone call, it was from Rose and Deadshot.
“Hello?”
“Your Welcome”
“For What?”
“Getting rid of him”
“For your information, I am super glad I didn't have to send him to the hospital today, or even worse, the Grave. you two could have really stirred up a whole ordeal”
“So you didn't want us to… “
“NO” Magami shouted at his phone , While Hitch looked at him concerningly
“Oops, Sorry” Both of the ponies in the car said in unison.
As soon as they said that, they hung up
“So…”
“I don't even want to talk about It…, and Please , Do not tell Sunny”
“Yes Sir”
“Thank you “
Magami and Hitch entered the Brighthouse and immediately parted ways, it was probably for the best.
Meanwhile, Magami spotted Sunny laying on a couch, her face buried in a book.
“Hey”
“Oh, hey your back” Sunny said with a bright face
“Yeah, thankfully”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Eh,Dont worry about it…” Magami said trying to keep his mind off of what happened, then , he had an idea.
He got closer to Sunny, who was curled comfortably on the plush surface of the couch,
He took off his cap and glasses and set it on the coffee table beside the couch
“What are you doing?” Sunny asked with a confused giggle.
“Relaxing, Isn't that what you wanted us to do today?”
“I did say that…” Sunny said with a grin on her face.
Magami hopped up on the couch and hesitated for a moment…
“Is this too fast? How would we interact after this?” These thoughts raced through Magami’s Head.
“Eh, screw it”
He wrapped his hoof around her body and snuggled her closer to him
He could see the blush forming on her face, He couldn't help but smile so hard, it hurt.
“Whoa… that’s new”
“What are we reading tonight, “Lore Equestria” ah, interesting choice”
Sunny looked up at Magami , the smile yet to leave her face, he saw the look in her eyes.
“Sunny?”
“Yes?”
“Would you like me to read this book to you?”
“I'd love that”
And so it came to pass, Magami Moonscout and Sunny Starscout , in the house of bright, let their curiosities run wild as they both wallow and seep into each other’s warmth and embrace as they enchant themselves in the pages of Lore Equestria.
“We see the world as it really is, and hope that one day all ponykind might see the same.”
