He blinks, slightly concerned by the pure rage coming off her form. "Then...what do you propose we do?"

Chrysalis stands up. "It’s time to use our last resort." the now newly appointed general starts to get a bit of a worried expression

“You don’t mean- ” Chrysalis nodded her head, knowing what the changeling was about to ask

“I... I don't want to let him loose but we are running out of options,” Chrysalis says, making her way to a wall, putting her horn on it causing the wall to open,

The queen looks at Port with a neutral look “Come with me, Port”

Port seems hesitant until He nods respectfully. "As you wish," Port says as he follows close behind Chrysalis.

As soon as Chrysalis and Port enter the room they hear dark laughter echoing through the room, Port jumps, hearing the laughter but he quickly composes himself, walking up so that he is right beside the queen, when he gets to the queen's side, he saw a changeling behind a cage being restrained by what looked to be black chains.

The moment Port sees the changeling he freezes in place as memories of what he did flash before his eyes

It was just another day, and it was my turn to patrol the hive. The usual hum of activity surrounded me as I made my rounds. Changelings hurriedly went about their business, and the hive seemed peaceful, as it should be. But little did I know, that day would shatter that peace in an instant.

As I rounded a corner, I encountered a scuffle between two Changelings. The one in front was none other than Obsidian, his presence exuding authority. The other Changeling was talking down to him, his words laced with arrogance. My steps slowed as I tried to make sense of the situation.

"You think you're invincible, Obsidian? You're nothing but a glorified puppet of the queen," the insolent Changeling sneered. "You're no different from the rest of us, no matter how much you pretend."

Obsidian's usual calm facade was slipping, and I could see his anger rising. He was trying to maintain control, but the taunting words were pushing him dangerously close to the edge. The hive had never seen him like this, and the tension in the air was palpable.

I stepped closer, intending to intervene and defuse the situation, but just as I reached out, everything spiralled out of control. Obsidian's patience snapped, and in a fit of rage, he attacked the Changeling in front of him, unleashing his terrifying power.

I watched in horror as the Changeling's life was extinguished, his body crumbling into dust. The other Changelings who had gathered began to panic, and chaos erupted in the hive. The fear and chaos fueled Obsidian's rage further, and he began to attack anyone in his path.

I couldn't stand by and let him continue this senseless rampage. I tried to reason with him, to make him see the damage he was causing, but it was too late. Obsidian turned on me, his once-familiar eyes filled with an uncontrollable malevolence. At that moment, I had no choice but to defend myself.

With heavy breaths and a heavy heart, I rushed to Queen Chrysalis to explain the horrifying events that had transpired. I found her in her chamber, and I wasted no time in delivering the dire news.

"Queen Chrysalis," I gasped, "Obsidian... he's gone mad. He's attacked other Changelings, and the hive is in chaos," I hesitated, unable to put into words the extent of the devastation.

Chrysalis' expression hardened, and she didn't hesitate. "Order his capture," she commanded, her voice unwavering. "We cannot allow this madness to continue."

Her directive sent a ripple of determination through the hive. Changelings rushed to follow her orders, doing their best to subdue Obsidian. The hive's collective strength was brought to bear as they worked together to contain him, even though the struggle was fierce.

After a long and arduous effort, Obsidian was finally captured and confined, his power locked away behind powerful restraints. The hive breathed a collective sigh of relief, but the scars of that dark day ran deep. The unity they had once cherished had been fractured, and the hive would need time to heal.

The hive did indeed breathe a collective sigh of relief as the immediate threat of Obsidian's rampage was over. But in the aftermath of the confrontation, the reality of the devastation sank in. Changelings gathered in sombre groups, mourning the loss of their fellow hive members who had fallen that day.

There were tears and quiet sobs, and the once harmonious hive was now filled with a heavy sense of grief. Changelings clung to one another for support, the bonds of camaraderie stronger than ever as they tried to comfort those who had lost loved ones.

Port, amidst the grieving hive, couldn't bear the thought of not knowing the fate of his family and friends. With a heavy heart, he began a search, moving through the hive to find any survivors or any sign of those he held dear. The dimly lit tunnels and chambers were filled with the echoes of his footsteps, and he couldn't shake the dread that clung to him.

After what felt like an eternity, he stumbled upon a chamber. There, in the dim light, he found the lifeless bodies of his family and friends, Changelings he had known and cherished. His heart sank, and his eyes filled with tears as he knelt beside them, unable to hold back his grief. The losses were too great, and the pain too profound. The scars of that dark day ran deeper still, etched into Port's heart as a reminder of the cost of the chaos that had unfolded.

Chrysalis and Port stood before the imprisoned changeling, his glowing red eyes fixated on them, a vicious grin stretching across his face. The dark laughter continued to echo in the chamber as the black chains that bound him seemed to pulsate with sinister energy.

Port couldn't hide the unease in his expression, but he remained steadfast beside the queen, his loyalty unwavering. "My queen, are you certain about this?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Chrysalis took a deep breath, steeling herself. "I'm aware of the risk, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I wouldn't want to make this if I had other options, But I have no other options left"

Port stood by Queen Chrysalis, his eyes locked on the imprisoned changeling. The creature with its glowing red eyes and wings bound by those sinister black chains, emanated an aura of malevolence that sent shivers down Port's spine.

Chrysalis, while fearful, knew there was no other choice. She stepped forward, her voice trembling only slightly as she addressed the restrained changeling, "I am here to make a deal Obsidian”

The changeling known as Obsidian chuckled darkly, his voice filled with a mixture of amusement and malice. "A deal, you say? Oh, this is quite an intriguing turn of events. You must be very desperate to want to make a deal with me, very well, what is this deal you propose"

Chrysalis took a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. "In exchange for your freedom, you must eliminate one changeling and bring the other two that are with her to me, if you agree I will set you free, and if you complete your end," Chrysalis stopped speaking taking a deep breath, before continuing

"I will let you leave the hive," when Chrysalis said that Port's eyes went wide surprised that she would break the number one rule for him

Obsidian's grin widened, revealing rows of sharp, menacing teeth. "hmm freedom, I've been in here so long that I almost forgot what that word meant, and the prospect of never coming back here is interesting, very well, I accept your terms. Free me, and I shall do as you ask."

With a nod from Queen Chrysalis, Port carefully undid the restraints, each click of the chains seeming to echo through the tense chamber. As the chains fell away, Obsidian stretched his wings and flexed his limbs, a sense of freedom returning to him.

Chrysalis warned, "Remember our agreement, Obsidian. Fail me, and you will face consequences far worse than this imprisonment."

Obsidian, now free from his restraints looks at Chrysalis with a frustrated expression "Please don't kid yourself, it took your entire hive just to restrain me"

Chrysalis held her ground, maintaining her regal facade despite the palpable tension in the room. "are you threatening me?."

Obsidian lets out a chuckle before replying "Oh Chrysalis, if I wanted to hurt you, I would have done so, many years ago,"

Port, though maintaining his calm exterior, couldn't help but feel a chill at the changeling's words. He knew Obsidian held immense power, a power that could pose a serious threat to the hive if it wasn't directed in their favour

Obsidian begins to sniff the air before looking at Port, "You fear me?"

Port felt his body tremble before Obsidian, “You… you killed my family”

Obsiden looks at Port with a girn hearing his voice tremble, “Oh did I now, don’t worry you’ll see them again soon”

Chrysalis, sensing the escalating tension, decided to intervene. Her voice took on a cold, commanding tone, as she addressed Obsidian. "Obsidian, you may have power, but you stand in my hive, and you will obey me”

Obsidian let out a little chuckle backing away from Port, before in a swift move pinning her against the wall, his hoof pressing firmly on her throat. Chrysalis tried to gasp for air but was unable to.

With a dangerous glint in his glowing red eyes, Obsidian spoke to her with seething anger. "You speak of authority, my queen, but it seems you forget who is holding the cards. You may be the queen, but you have no power over me." he applied more pressure on her throat.

Port, seeing this situation happen in front of him picks up a spear on the wall before charging at Obsidian. Obsidian seeing Port charging at him, stomps a hoof to cause a sharp rock to impale Port. Port screams out in pain before he dies, as his blood streams down the rock that hit him, obsidian lets out an evil smile, “Say hi to your pops for me”

Chrysalis's eyes widen seeing Port die right in front of her, Obsidian continues with more rage in his eyes, "I have more power than you or anyone in this hive. I will not hesitate to kill each and every one of your drones, so don't you dare tempt me,"

just as Chrysalis felt her life slipping away, Obsidian let her go. throwing her to the ground, as Chrysalis hit the ground, she took a deep breath of air. Obsidian looked down at the queen who was now terrified “Now tell me the names of these traitors,”
Obsidian looked down at the changeling he used to call his queen, he smiled finding pleasure in standing over top of her.

Chrysalis who was shaking in fear said in a shaky voice. “Luster. Flick and…. Gel,” Obsidian eyes widened, hearing the last name she had mentioned, and for the first time showed hesitation. before looking at the queen with a determined look “Fine, but when I get back I better be treated with more respect, because the result will be worse than last time”

And with that, Obsidian began to make his way out of the hive, giving frightening looks to every changeling that passed by as they quickly scattered away from him, eventually, he made his way out of the hive,

Once Obsidian got outside of the hive, he took a deep breath of fresh air, knowing that this was the first time he had seen daylight in years.

After he took his moment of peace he looked at the path in front of him, a malicious smile growing on his face as he spoke to himself cracking his neck. "This is going to be fun," before his body disappeared turning into a shadow
