”I wanna break up. My actions are ruining this relationship.”

”What are ya talkin’ about, Rainbow Dash.”

”Listen Applejack, if we continue this relationship, I’m gonna do something I regret.”

”Are ya sure?”

”Positive.”

Night fell over Canterlot, but it was still buzzing with vibrancy. Four girls stood in Equestria Land, pursuing a bet made between them, some of them at least.

“We’re gonna win in no time at all!”

“I highly doubt that darling."

“I wouldn’t go puttin’ all your eggs in one basket RD,” Applejack stated, “You ain’t explain the rules yet.”

Rainbow Dash let out a groan, she wanted to dive right into action and not be hassled by explaining rules.

“Basically here’s what’s happening, I had Pinkie hide a whole bunch of cards with numbers around here. The team with the highest number at the end wins," Dash said as fast as possible, "No questions? Then let's-"

“We’re doin’ teams?” Applejack said trying to push the athlete’s buttons.

Rainbow Dash shot a glare at Applejack, at which Applejack started laughing.

“Yes.” Rainbow Dash said through clenched teeth. “You’re with me and Rarity is with Fluttershy.”

“Speaking of which, you’ve been awfully quiet darling, is something wrong?” Rarity glanced over at her shy friend.

“What’s the point of this?” Fluttershy inquired.

“It’s all for fun I reckon.”

Rainbow Dash grinned menacingly. “That’s what you think AJ.”

Applejack glared at the girl next to her as she folded her arms, “And what in tarnation does that mean?”

“You can’t have a bet without consequences for the losers,” Rainbow stuck her tongue out at Rarity.

“If you insist on this, “competitive talking” as you and Applejack put it, please don’t assume that I and Fluttershy will lose so easily.”

“We probably will.”

Rarity scoffed, “Honestly Fluttershy, do you have no faith in us as a team at all?”

Fluttershy started backing away slowly.

“I’ll just leave...”

Rarity grabbed Fluttershy before she could walk off any further.

“It ain’t that bad, y’all just gotta find some cards, easy as pie.”

“What AJ said, it’s easy as pie,” Rainbow exclaimed.

“I undoubtedly believe in us Fluttershy, you should too,” Rarity gave her a smile.

“Ok,” Fluttershy trailed off.

“Awesome!” Rainbow fist pumped the air.

“Now that has been settled, what consequences have you prepared for myself and Fluttershy?”

“I’m going to make you two do the ice-cream sundae challenge at Sugarcube Corner,” Rainbow said snickering to herself.

Rarity gagged at the thought.

“Since you have brought your proposition, I shall tell you mine. If you and Applejack fail to beat me and Fluttershy in the allotted time period, you’ll both have to wear a dress designed by yours truly,” Rarity winked.

Rainbow Dash groaned and Applejack covered her face with her hat.

“I ain’t wearing anythin' that’s frilly,” Applejack retorted.

“Do you know how hard it is to play soccer in a dress?” Rainbow Dash exasperated.

“Too bad, that’s my punishment and it’s final, unless you’re scared that is,” Rarity started teasing the pair.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash both let out a sigh.

“I ain’t sacred, I just don’t like all that Frou-Frou stuff,” Applejack said while placing her hat back on.

“And I’m Rainbow Dash, I’d never back down from a challenge.”

Fluttershy giggled to herself.

”That’s a cool laugh.”

“Thank you...?” Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash inquisitively.

Rainbow Dash didn’t realize she had said that out loud.

Applejack laughed to herself before whispering to Rainbow Dash, “Kinda thinkin' out loud there, huh?”

“It’s not funny,” Rainbow furrowed her eyebrows at Applejack.

“As much as I’d love to see you flirt with Fluttershy unknowingly, we do have a time limit,” Rarity pulled out her phone and showed the time.

“Hey I was not-”

“Alrighty then, let’s get a move on,” Applejack started walking towards the Ferris Wheel.

Rainbow Dash was irritated at Rarity’s remark, but she got over it quickly, then she ran in the general direction of Applejack while yelling, "You'll do fine, Shy!!"

Applejack snickered and in return earned herself an punch in the left arm from Rainbow Dash.

“Let’s go Darling, we have cards to find,” Rarity said joyfully.

"Mhm..."

Applejack and Rainbow Dash had yet to find any cards. It seemed like they had been searching for hours. Every bin was checked, bench, rides, tents, you name it, but no cards were found.

“Geez, where could Pinkie have hidden these things,” Rainbow Dash was lying on the ground.

“We’ve only been out here for one hour, stop givin' up so easily,” Applejack towered over Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash preformed a kick-up, “I’m not "givin'" up. Ummm," She ran over to an orange card with the number five-hundred on it.

“How’s that for giving up?” Rainbow flaunted the card in Applejack’s face, "First card of the night."

“We’re supposed to be on a team, how are we gonna get anythin’ done if you’re tryin’ to compete against me?” Applejack crossed her arms and looked and Rainbow nonchalantly.

“Calm down AJ, this ain’t my first rodeo. We’ll win for sure, I’m like 120% positive we’re beating Fluttershy and Rarity.” Rainbow Dash handed the card to Applejack then put her hands behind her head and started walking.

"I’ve found a card with one-thousand on it,” Fluttershy said excitedly.

“That’s absolutely divine darling,” Rarity started pointing to a house with pumpkins and dim lights.

Fluttershy looked where Rarity was pointing, "You think we can find more in that haunted house?”

“Of course.”

Fluttershy started walking towards the haunted house.

Rarity stood there with her eyebrows raised and her arms crossed.

Fluttershy turned around to see Rarity’s face expression and her excited demeanor started fading, Did I something wrong?”

“You aren’t scared?”

“I’ve been inside this haunted house with Twilight and Applejack before, it wasn’t all that bad, but I still don’t like to do it.”

“Twilight came here?”

“Princess Twilight.”

"Oh," ...Honestly, how'd I forget that? She cleared her throat, "Well I’m glad you're choosing to overcome your fears, we should make this brief so we can look in other areas as well.”

Fluttershy and Rarity began walking inside the haunted house. Bells and pianos echoed throughout the house, screams could be heard from the back, people running out, and blades being sharpened. Rarity and Fluttershy continued on. Three figures started following them both.

“Ya reckon they’re havin' more luck than us?” Applejack started drinking a bottle of apple cider then went to sit next to Rainbow Dash.

“Probably not. We’ve found two more five-hundred cards, I doubt that they’ve found anything higher”, Rainbow Dash took a scoop of her ice cream.

Applejack’s spit the cider onto the ground, “This stuff tastes salty.”

Rainbow snickered, “Let me try, it can’t be that bad.”

“Here.”

Applejack handed Rainbow Dash the bottle and Rainbow Dash took her sip. Immediately her face scrunched up, and she too spit the cider out.

“How the hell do you make cider taste salty?” Rainbow Dash ate more of the ice cream to drown out the salt of that cider.

A fair manager was staring at the two girls.

“I haven’t a clue but let’s go before we get kicked out.”

Applejack quickly got up and dragged Rainbow Dash with her. Rainbow Dash started texting Rarity.

“Pinkie was through with the effort of hiding cards. There's some in this haunted house area as well, Rarity said while showing Fluttershy two more one-thousand cards.

Rarity continued walking, staying in front of Fluttershy.

*BZZZT*

Rarity grabbed her phone out of her purse and started looking through her notifications and saw a text from Rainbow Dash.

*Change of plans, if u and Shy lose u both have 2 drink cider they got here.*

*You can’t just change the consequence mid-bet Rainbow Dash.*

*Trust me, u'll thank me later. Peace.*

Rarity rolled her eyes then put her phone back in her purse.

“Rainbow Dash has decided to change our punishment, is that ok with you?” Rarity continued walking.

Rarity didn’t receive a response.

“Darling, is that ok with you?” Rarity stopped walking and turned around.

Fluttershy was being attacked by three people, her mouth was being covered but she was trying her hardest to fight back. One of the attackers had a knife and stabbed her in the stomach. Fluttershy then stopped fighting back.

“UNHAND HER AT ONCE YOU RUFFIANS!!!” Rarity tried using her powers to form a barrier but it didn’t work.

Why isn’t my geode working?

Rarity then took the second alternative and started letting fists fly—or in her case—heels. One attacker was knocked to the ground but quickly recovered and slashed Rarity in her right arm. Then he then turned around and slashed Fluttershy in the head.

“STOP!!!” Rarity was panicking at the sight of her own and Fluttershy’s blood but she still tried to attack. She continued hitting him with her heels and chucked one in the head of another attacker. Then one of the attackers ran towards Rarity and slapped her to the ground. Giving the guy by Fluttershy a chance to slash her in the back.

The attackers then threw Fluttershy’s body down. “Let’s go, leave both of their bodies here.” The attackers then walked off. Rarity hurried towards Fluttershy as quickly as she could, “Darling, y-you’re gonna be j-just fine ok?” Rarity pulled out her phone and called emergency services.

Sirens were heard in Equestria Land, cops were evacuating everyone in the theme park, and people were panicking.

“Oh come on!!” Rainbow Dash kicked the ground, "We were just about to hit the time deadline just to be escorted out by some cops.”

“I think some people were attacked, RD.”

“Did Rarity and Fluttershy get out at least, if the rumor is true then we have to make sure they’re both safe.”

“I’ll call Rarity and see where they are.”

“No. No. NO.” Rarity had tears welling from her eyes as she watched her best friend being carried in a stretcher.

“Ma’am you need medical attention too. You’re right arm is-”

“DON’T TOUCH ME!!!” Rarity’s tears were now black from her mascara.

"Ma’am please let medical professionals look at that wound."

Rarity looked at her friend one more time before being treated by a medical professional.
