After the mess that happened with Mona and Throkka and the battle they had with Dregg was settled down, everyone's been trying to rest a bit more since they're going to be heading to find the last Black Hole Generator piece next, it's been super stressful for everyone here right now, with the little time they may have to save they're home before it's destroyed forever, it's been an intense situation for all of them, and they need to prepare for what could be they're last chance.

Mona and Throkka were still feeling guilt for lying to them about what happened with Dregg and nearly getting them killed, while they've been forgiven by everyone here, they still just couldn't get over that they did this to them.

Spike's been taking a lot of time to think as they're going to be heading to the last piece soon, this was a small detour they needed to take in order to prepare for heading to Magnomar, it'll be a dangerous planet they'll need to survive on like all the other's they've been on too, but here, they'll only have one chance, and they can't blow it.

Spike was currently looking out into the void of space again through the ship's bridge, he had been looking out at it and was watching the star's go by, he never thought he'd ever get the chance to go and explore space like this, even if he's at risk of losing his mind, and still feels weak in areas, it's sights like this that gives him time to relax knowing the danger they're going to face in the future.
"It's so beautiful.. I wish Twilight was here to see this.." Spike said to himself as he saw the many cosmos and meteorites fly by the ship as it kept moving through it.

As Spike was watching through the screen, most of the others were on the bridge too and were doing they're job, they were trying to rest to while Honeycutt was flying it as usual. They took notice that Spike was in his thoughts again, and they tried finding out what's wrong.
"Spike, you okay buddy?" Raph asked with concern again as he walked up to Spike who kept on looking into space.

"I'm alright Raph, I've just been thinking about the last encounter we had with Dregg, what he did to Mona and Throkka, we barely got out of that last situation alive, and now we're heading somewhere even worse, even with the time we have to rest, I'm just.. questioning if we will even make it out in the end.." Spike admitted which concerned most of them.

"Come on Spike, we've made it this far, we may still struggle with the Triceritons, but every time we make it out, we get stronger to fight them." Leo encouraged as he went up to him too.

"For you guys maybe, but for me? I.. still don't feel like there's much I've been able to do here, ever since my mind started becoming weaker after Earth was destroyed previously, I just.. don't think what I've done has helped much with you guys, We've been through so many adventures together, and if we don't save Earth, it.. may be our last fight together.." Spike said with guilt which made Raph realize what he was trying to say.

"Your still thinking about your home and friends, aren't you?" Raph asked with guilt as they knew he's likely been gone from his home for a long time now.

"How could I not be? I've been gone for years, and the last few months we've spent is spent here traveling through space, while it's been cool seeing other worlds and stuff like that, I just don't know how to handle it still. I thought it would all turn out fine once I got back. But.. I've barely been able to talk about this or think over it with all that's happened.." Spike said regretfully as he looked at his snake form again, he's been like this for so long at this point, he hardly remembered what it feels like to walk normally, having to slither around like this is something that he still can't get over, it just feels weird.

"Come on Spike, on the plus side once we do find a way to get you home, the time difference in this dimension and yours could be different, what could be years for you here could be maybe months for your friends back home, you may not have been gone that long at all if that's the case." Donnie theorized as they went through similar experiences in Dimension X before.

"And what would happen if we do make it back there guys? Look at me, I've almost completely changed since I was last there, with my friends and family. I got mutated into a snake mutant, have been fighting off alien robots, mutants, dinosaurs, and other huge monster's since I came to this dimension, and I've just gone through so much at this point, I.. hardly feel like how I was back home..." Spike said sadly as he sat down in his station to think over this.

"Come on Spike it hasn't been that bad, look at what else you've been able to gain, you've become a sick ninja like us, can kick butt, you've got a family like us too, and even better, you know what pizza is like!" Mikey said playfully as he held a slice out which only made Spike hiss at him a bit since he didn't feel right at the moment.

"I know Mikey, i just.. with what I'm going through right now, I don't think stuff like that can help me.." Spike said with guilt which Honeycutt noticed too.

"There has been much you've gone through Spike yes, but you shouldn't let all of that get to you, what matters is that your still here, fighting alongside the people most close to you, even if it's been a long time since you last saw your friends, you need to hold out hope until you find a way to get back to Equestria." Honeycutt advised as he was told about this situation by the others.

Spike still felt unsure about that, even if he has been pushing through it, he's just scared of what the future holds, he doesn't know if he'll lose his mind again, and if that happens, he doesn't know if he'll be able to recover from it.
"I know, I just.. have so much to think over right now, I need some time to myself..." Spike said as he started slithering out of the bridge to find where his mom or Jaqueline are.

"Spike..." Raph said with guilt as they saw him leave them alone, and they sighed knowing how he's feeling right now.

"You think we'll really be able to find a way to get Spike home after all that's happened since we met him?" Leo asked the others who were concerned on if that could be possible.

"Well, if we do manage to stop the Triceritons, we could use some of the Kraang tech we have to make one of those portal devices they have, it may take a while but if we can get some help from the Utrom about where Equestria is, we could be able to find a way to get him home." Donnie replied as he's been thinking about how to handle this.

"What do you guys think his friends will think of when they see what's happened to him? He's found his real birth mother and has a girlfriend, and with all he's been through with us, you think they'll be able to handle all of it?" Raph asked with concern as they tried figuring this out.

"Don't worry about it Raph, I'm sure once we properly explain everything, we'll all be able to hug it out." Mikey assured as he didn't feel too worried about this right now.

"Mikey you need to understand, all Spike's gone through has changed him in ways his friends never would've expected, how do you think they'll react to him being mutated? Or having psychic powers, or meeting his birth mother? Or.. anything he's done with us for the past few years?" Leo asked as he felt upset Mikey wasn't taking this so seriously.

"I do understand it Leo, and I'm just saying that we shouldn't try to worry to much about this. If this is Spike's family, they'll accept him and understand it no matter what's happened, besides, he'll still have us to help him, he's just going through a lot right now, but once he figures it all out, it'll all be good." Mikey replied as he didn't feel too worried, but at the same time, he still did.

"Mikey's right guys, no matter how long it may be since he was last with them, once we find them and explain what's been happening, I'm sure they'll understand it." Donnie said as he was setting the coordinates in for Magdomar.

"We all just need time to think over it, everyone goes through this kind of thing in they're lives at one point, and with your help, I'm sure Spike will be able to handle it." Honeycutt assured as he hoped for the best for Spike.

"I sure hope so..." Raph prayed as he looked out the bridge's window too, hoping that they'd find a way to help him.

Spike opened the door to the living room again to think over it, he hoped his mom and Jaqueline were there to talk with him about it, and thankfully, she, April, Casey and Jaqueline were all watching some old shows on the Tv, and he sighed with relief seeing them.
"Hey guys, you doing alright?" Spike asked as he slithered next to them which got they're attention.

"Oh, hey Spike, we're doing good, we're just watching some Tv." April replied as they saw Spike come next to them.

"I'm.. alright, I was just thinking over things, is Mona and Throkka doing okay?" Spike asked hopefully as they still have a lot to think over too.

"They're doing okay son, they're in the medical room making sure they're fully prepared before going back to they're home, with Dregg defeated, his fleet was called off, and they're planet is safe again thankfully." Psiona assured which made Spike sigh in relief.

"Great.. that's such a relief to here.." Spike said gladly as he heard that.

"Who knew that Dregg actually turned out to be a freaky robot like the Kraang in areas? I was not expecting that to be honest." Casey said as he still didn't get over how freaky that was.

"I mean, being a strong alien bug emperor is freaky enough, but being a robot too? I just don't know how that can be possible." Jaqueline replied as she didn't know how to feel about that either.

"Let's just be glad we were able to get away from him, we barely got out of there, and now, let's just be glad we have this time to rest." April replied as she was taking in every moment they have here.

"Yeah.. that was a super close call.." Spike said as he still wished there was something they could've done about this sooner.

Psiona could see Spike was in a tough state right now just from looking at him, and when she used her powers briefly to sense how he feels, she knew something was wrong.
"Son, what's wrong? I'm sensing something off from you.." Psiona asked with concern as she wanted to help her son go through what he's feeling.

"What's on your mind buddy?" Casey asked as he paused the show they were watching so they could hear him out.

"Sorry guys, I just have a lot to think over, with all the adventure's we've been having out in space, all the near death experiences we've gone through, and what happened with the Triceritons, everything, I just.. have had trouble processing it.." Spike admitted which concerned them.

"Your still worried about what's happened with you nearly losing yourself, and the Black Hole generator?" Jaqueline asked as she hoped that was right.

"Yeah.. it's just been very stressful, I've been through so much in the time I've been in this dimension, all I've gone through with the turtles, meeting you, the fight's we've had, and all I've gained here, and yet.. I just feel like it.. may not be enough to save Earth..." Spike said with guilt which concerned everyone hearing it.

"Son, you shouldn't let negative thoughts distract you, you need to try and focus on what's in front of you, I know you've been through a lot, and believe me.. I've hated that you've had to go through so much pain, but if we make it through this, we'll be able to find a way to go home to Equestria.." Psiona assured while Spike looked down sadly again.

"Mom.. Jaqueline.. I have to ask.. what was it like for you two with all you went through with being alone?" Spike asked suddenly which surprised them a bit, but after a bit of thinking, they reflected on they're lives, and what it was like for them before this moment.

"It's.. hard for me to describe Spike, I was forced to drain the life force of other people with my brother's when we were stuck in the dream world through that book, I.. never really got to experience what the real world was like, only through what those people remembered of them, even with my ability to create any kind of dream world I want.. I just.. felt trapped.. alone, my brother's weren't really the best to support me, and being a Dream Beaver, it's.. hard to be able to find friends given our history.." Jaqueline said with guilt as she hated all she had to do with her brothers.

"Yeah.. we talked about this when we met... you never really got to experience the real world, being trapped in that world with no real support, I can't imagine what that was like.." Spike said with regret for what's happened with her.

"I know Spike, I never thought I'd be able to find a way out, but when I met you, it gave me hope that things could change, I was different from my brothers, and with what you were able to do, helping me find a way to the real world, experience life and all the tough things everyone will have to go through, it's just been.. one of the best experiences I've had.. when I'm at your side, I feel like I can take on anything, you gave me the chance sweetie, and I'll always love you for it." Jaqueline assured as she gave him another kiss on the cheek to calm him down which made him smile lightly.

"Everyone goes through rough experiences in they're lives at some point, I never thought I'd have to become a warrior like this to fight against the Kraang, but fate has different plans for everyone, whether we walk the same path together, or go on our own path's, it's either for us to decide, or for fate to decide for us." Psiona said sadly as she never thought she'd have to go through all she went through with the Utrom.

"I hear that, ever since we met back in that base on Earth, I never thought I'd meet someone like you, but with all that's happened with us, it's really opened up to me just how much bigger the universe is. I didn't know how to properly handle it at times either, but after all that's happened, I've.. honestly grown used to it by now.." April replied as she knew how he felt right now.

"Even I'll admit, being a vigilante can be tough, I've been doing it to protect my family and friends, even with the risks I've taken, it's all been worth it in the end knowing what I've got to experience." Casey replied as he twirled one of his sticks around while not hitting them.

"Really guys? I don't know how you've been able to do it. I've been struggling so much at this point since Earth was destroyed, and my mind being at risk of broken completely, I've just been.. terrified of what the future could hold, and if we may fail Earth again.." Spike said with tears as he started to cry knowing how bad that last failure was for them.

"Son.. it'll be okay, what matter's is we're all together still, I wish there was a way to help you get control of yourself, but the least I can do is keep you stable, how we'll be able to help you return to normal, will be for you to figure out.." Psiona assured as she and Jaqueline gave him another hug to comfort him.

"Guys..." Spike said with sadness as he looked over the people he's known for a long time at this point.

The feeling of his mother hugging him, and Jaqueline comforting him is something that's helped him calm down, and with the assurance from his friends, April and Casey, it all let's him know that maybe one day, it'll all be okay in the end..

Psiona and Jaqueline kept hugging him for a bit longer until they pulled away from him, he stopped crying after hearing this from them, and he felt a bit better knowing this from them.
"I promise you son, we'll stop the Triceritons for good, and once we make it home, we'll do everything we can to help you, I can't lose my only child again, all I did over the years, fighting alongside the Utrom, Bishop, and everyone else I've known, it's all been so I can finally be with you again, I don't want to lose that again, and I only ask that you try to push through this too, please son.." Psiona begged as Spike started to get up to check on Mona and Throkka.

"I'll do my best mom, I just want to say to all of you, I'm very grateful that we've made it this far, even with the struggle's we've been through. We're all in this together, right?" Spike asked hopefully which made Jaqueline hug him one last time for a quick moment.

"Of course Spikey, we're all here for you, we'll put a stop to this soon, count on that." Jaqueline assured as she let him go, and Spike sighed with relief hearing that from them.

"Thanks guys, I'm gonna check on Mona and Throkka before they leave, I'll be back in a bit, and then.. we'll finally head to find the last piece.." Spike said with a bit of worry as he left them alone again which left them worried for him.

"Don't worry son.. I won't fail you again.." Psiona told herself as she hated that she had to leave him alone for so many years, and she swore it wouldn't happen again..

"Don't worry Psiona, once this is over, I'm sure things will be okay." April assured as she turned the channel back on so they can take in the time they could to rest.

After Spike had that talk with his friends, he wanted to make one last stop to check on Mona and Throkka, he knew they were still upset with themselves for all that's happened with Dregg, and he wanted to help them a bit before they left.

Spike opened the doors to the medical bay again where Mona and Throkka were fixing up they're equipment, they looked like they were just getting ready to leave, and Spike had found them just in time.

Spike gave a light smile as he saw them again, and he tried to talk with them to discuss over what happened.
"Hey Mona, Throkka, are you two doing okay?" Spike asked with concern as he came up to them.

"We're doing alright Spike, we were just getting ready to leave.." Mona replied as they looked at him with guilt for what happened.

"I still can't apologize enough for what happened with Dregg young one, we should've contacted for you for help when our planet was attacked, but Aarmagon stopped us before we could call you, and it nearly lead to all of us being killed.." Throkka said with guilt for what's happened.

"It's okay Throkka, no one blames you two for what happened, your whole planet was in danger, it was our lives for an entire race, we can understand it." Spike assured again while they still didn't forgive themselves for.

"It still doesn't make up the fact we lied to you and nearly got you killed, we were foolish to believe Dregg would keep his word, even if our planet is safe now, it still doesn't excuse it.." Mona said with guilt as she sat down to think over it.

"Our kind is meant to hold onto honor and respect, what we did to you was disrespectful, and it almost got all of us killed." Throkka added again as he can't get over this.

"And is that supposed to be new for us? We've nearly died dozens of times before at this point, even what we went through with Dregg felt like events we've gone through before, all the trouble we've been having with the Triceritons, trying to save our home, and this whole journey through space, it's just made be reflect on things the longer we've been here.." Spike replied as he held his head again as it hurt again for a brief moment.

Mona only sighed again hearing that, even if they do forgive them, they don't know if it's something they can forgive themselves for.
"We know it's been hard for you Spike, you and your friends and Raphael have been trying so hard to save your home, and the lives of billions of people, if we knew about what was happening, maybe there would've been another way to stop it.." Mona said with guilt as she hated the thought of all the people that could possibly die if the Triceritons get the generator.

Spike took a moment to reflect on that again as he knew the feeling, while he still has a lot going through himself that he needs to push through, he needs to be there for people he cares about too.
"How would you have known about it anyway? The Triceritons may be a huge threat to the galaxy and all, but you wouldn't have even known about us if we didn't come to space, I don't know what would've happened if we didn't meet on those moons, one thing just lead to another, and with the near death experience we went through there, it.. just led us to becoming close allies, right?" Spike reminded which they knew was true.

"Your right young Spike, but even then, we've still had a lot to go through, I don't know if we can forgive ourselves for all that's happened.." Throkka said with guilt which made Spike role his eyes.

"No one is perfect commander, we all make mistakes in our lives, sometimes things just happen beyond our control, and with all that's happened to us, we should just be grateful we're here now, because if we didn't make it through that fight with Dregg, both our worlds would've been doomed.." Spike replied as he tried using his friends advise to help them too.

Mona looked a bit confused hearing that, and she wondered a bit more about him that she wanted to know.
"Spike, I need to know, how have you been able to handle going through situations like these? While we're warriors and have gone through similar things, I can't imagine what it's been like for you, you were taken from your family and friends, taken away from your own dimension to this one, how have you been able to handle it?" Mona asked again while Spike sat next to her.

Spike only took a small breath after hearing that, even he doesn't know the answer to it, he just questioned all of it with his friends, but there is still stuff he can help with too.
"It's hard to answer, I've been struggling a lot with what's been happening to me, but my family and friends have been there for me, they just tell me that everything will be okay, and that we'll make it through this. They've been doing everything they can to help me, even when I'm still trying to figure things out myself, with they're help, it should be all I need.." Spike answered which Mona tried to understand.

"Do you think you'll be able to save your home Spike? With how big the odds are against us, I still question if we'll make it through this, while we have to head home to repair all the damage Dregg has done, what about you? How will you be able to push through it?" Mona asked as Spike looked at her to help.

"I.. guess all I can do is to just.. try. No matter how hard the odds are, or how unlikely it is, me and my family have pushed through huge threats before, we've all been able to beat the Kraang and tons of monster's ever since I met them, I know you both still aren't over this, but just know we do forgive you. We all have struggle's to go through, and all we can do to make it through it.. it's just to do what we can do best. I may not be able to do much right now, but when I finally find a way to fix what's happened to me, hopefully I'll finally find my way home, the least we can all do is just to try our best right?" Spike asked them who thought over it.

Even with how they feel right now, Spike did have a point, they'll never get better if they don't give it they're all, and with the people they have to help them, it could help them push through it too.
"Strong words coming from someone as young as you Spike, you certainly have grown a lot since you became a warrior, haven't you?" Throkka asked as they both stood up after thinking over this.

"I guess I have, even with the state I'm in, I'll have everyone else here for me, I just hope that when we save Earth, you'll be able to contact us if you need help, or just want to come to Earth to see us, we're here for you, just like your here to help us." Spike replied which made Mona smile hearing that.

"Thank you brother Spike, I am proud to have met someone like you, as well as Raphael and the rest of your family. You've done so much for the Salamandrians in helping to stop Dregg, and we can't be more proud to have met people like you." Mona said thankfully while Spike smiled hearing that from them.

"Thanks Mona, I'm glad we got to meet you too, no matter what we go through, we'll all be able to help eachother out right?" Spike asked as Mona and Throkka were getting ready to leave to head back home.

"Of course Spike, we cannot thank you enough, if there is trouble, we will contact you when it is needed. We just hope you'll be able to help us." Throkka said hopefully while Spike was starting to scratch himself suddenly..

"You don't have to worry about that sir, we'll do all we can, the only thing we need to do now, is find that last piece.." Spike replied as he was feeling off right now.

"Are you okay Spike? You seem a bit.. distracted.." Mona asked as she noticed Spike was scratching his back.

"Don't worry Mona, it's just an itch, I'm sure it'll go away soon. But again, thank you for being there to help us, I just hope we'll be able to see eachother soon." Spike replied which made the two of them smile a bit again.

"We will Spike, take care of Raphael for me. Good luck finding that last piece, just be safe." Mona advised as they started to leave.

"We'll try to do what we can to help too, you are a brave warrior Spike, I only hope you can push through it." Throkka said as Spike followed them for a few.

"I will guys, have a safe journey home, I hope to see you again soon." Spike replied as they were heading to they're ships.

"Thank you brother Spike, you be safe too, and good luck." Mona said one last time as they finally left the ship and began heading out, Spike waved goodbye at them as he saw them leave, and he sighed with relief knowing they'll be alright.

"Now all we need to do, is get that last piece.." Spike told himself as he slithered back to the bridge while scratching himself still.

Spike soon made it back to the bridge where everyone was at they're stations, and they were getting ready to leave themselves.
"You doing alright Spike?" Raph asked hopefully while Spike sat down in his station too with a smile.

"I'm fine guys, just wanted to say goodbye to Mona and Throkka before we left too, I just wanted to thank you all for your help, we may be in a tough situation right now, but we'll make it through this together right?" Spike asked with a smile which they all nodded at.

"Of course Spike, we've got this, let's just be sure to kick they're butts alright?" Mikey asked as he handed Spike another pepperoni slice which he actually took.

"Heh, I hear that, you all ready to do this?" Spike asked with a smirk as they all looked ahead and got ready for this last chance they'll have.

"Let's get that last piece.." Leo said confidently as Honeycutt prepared to make the ship jump to light speed.

" Alright my friends, this will be our last shot with getting the piece, no matter what happens, we must get that piece. Are you all ready?" Honeycutt asked as they all looked determined to get going.

"Let's do this!" Jaqueline said with a thumbs up as the ship was powering up.

"Very well, here we go!" Honeycutt shouted as the ship instantly took off and they started heading to they're last destination that would take a while to get to.

"Booyakasha!!" Spike screamed as they all traveled through space at fast speeds, even if Spike still has his own struggles right now, he needs to push through them so they can save Earth, with this chance they have, they cannot blow it. But even then, Spike was starting to feel strange, and his body was going through a strange itch, he just hoped it won't last long, but something tells him, this may be something important..

I hope that this chapter did a good job to help show Spike's relationship with some of the character's a bit given all he's been through, I did my best to help give more of a reason to show how Spike and Mona see eachother as brother and sister, and I just hope that what I did here was good enough for you guys. If there's anything I can add with each talk, please let me know if you want.

I'll try doing some more chapter's like this in the future once it's at a proper time, I think Season 5 will be the best one to do more like this, and I also think I'll finally be able to do an interlude with the main 6 and they're search to find what happened to Spike since Season 5 was more of an anthology season with smaller arcs , I think there being a time difference in Equestria then in the Turtles world could make sense given Dimension X has a similar time difference there, and hope that is something your all fine with.

I've come a long way with this story, and I just hope that you all have enjoyed it as it's gone on, I'm doing my best with this story like I am with all the other ones I've been working on, We'll be heading into some intense chapters for a bit with the last parts of the space saga. And I hope you look forward to more of it, and have a good day guys!
