And I'm open to criticism so what ever you mention something in the story, that isn't how a writer writes things I will be happy to change it. So please read and enjoy the presentation A new world It was a dark and rainy night. A dark corridor appeared in the everfree forest and a burst of dark ember flames shot from the corridor. It shot forth a creature of the night she was in the form of the ponies of this world. She was flapping her wings as fast as she could to get to the corridor, she tried to run but couldn't because her body was heavily damaged. The corridor fading before her. "Nonononono please" she fell to the ground yelling in pain. The corridor disappearing in front of her eyes. Slammed her arm down causing it to break. She yelled even more in pain. "You can't banish me" she looked up to where the portal was. "I MADE YOU!!!" She yelled out before collapsing to the ground. "you...traitors you can't banish me," tears were streaming down her face, but it wasn't clear if that was the rain. She slowly got up on her hooves but couldn't stand due to broken her leg was. She gave up on walking out of this forest, she leaned against a tree. She examined her body, but couldn't see due to the blood streaming down her face. She felt the big wound across her stomach that she sustained during her battle. As she remembering that battle she felt a massive headache she tried grab her head but felt pain through out her entire left arm. She looked at it and she had a third degree burn on her entire arm from her hand to her shoulder. Now that she noticed her entire left arm started searing with pain. She was yelling with how much it hurt practicality screaming at the top of her lungs which she couldn't do for very long due to one of her rib cage being broken. That got the attention of a certain yellow and blue Pegasus. Despite her bleeding out, her magic was keeping her alive ' huh at least that works' she thought. She was struggling to keep her eyes open. As she leaned against the tree she two figures approaching, she couldn't make the out them due to her consciousness, but from what she could tell one was blue with a rainbow mane, and the other was yellow with a pink mane. "Hey are you okay?" the yellow Pegasus rushed up to her. Gasping at her injuries she had on her body. She ran up to her to check her pulse sighing a sigh of relief. "Rainbow we need to get her to the hospital" "Right," the other Pegasus replied. She went to pick her up but she yelled out in pain due to her touching stab wound on her upper back behind her wing. The blue Pegasus notice this and immediately put her down. "Oh my celestia I'm so sorry," she went pick her up again this time she was holding her by her lower back. They ascended up into the air as fast as the could. She began to lose consciousness due to the pain she tried to see one last time who was carrying her, but all she could make out was a blue pony with rainbow mane. "Don't worry we'll get you somewhere safe," the blue Pegasus said looking down at her then looking back up to the direction they were going. She couldn't keep her open any more. She let the Claws of slumber take her even it was death she didn't care any more. Not that it mattered any more. ~=====================~ Fluttershy was out look for her pet bunny Angel. He had ran out of the cottage after sensing something in the everfree forest. Rainbow Dash was the to bring back Fluttershy's book, which she had borrowed from her shy friend. Fluttershy asked her to come along with her to find her pet bunny. "Yo Angel you out there come out form what ever hiding spot. This isn't time for hide and seek," Rainbow yelled. They had followed the trail of bunny fur that had lead them to the everfree. "I hope he's alright, he's never been one to go to the everfree this late" Fluttershy said worried for Angel. "Don't worry Fluttershy he's going to be alri-" just then they heard a scream coming from within the forest. They looked at each then ran towards the source of the screams. When they reached they both gasped at what they saw a naked bat pony mare laying against a trees covered in wounds. She had multiple cut, bruises and what looked stab wounds across her body, one at her shoulder one big one across her stomach a burn wound on her arm, and what looked like a broken arm blood dripping down her face. Fluttershy dropped the umbrella She was carrying and rush over to the injured mare to check her pulse. Rainbow was looking around trying to find whoever this is. "Come on out you cowards" she searched around but found nothing but trees. It was clear whoever did this was now long gone. "Rainbow we need to get her to the hospital" Fluttershy said trying to see if the filly was responsive. At least she had her eyes open one of them at least, her eye was bruised while the other was open. But Fluttershy could tell she wasn't going to be awake for much longer. "Right" Rainbow went in to pick her up but she yelled out. Confused she looked at where she was touching and saw that there was a wound that came from her chest all the way to her back that came straight through. Worried she set her back down saying " oh my celestia I'm so sorry," she went to pick her up this time holding her by her lower back. They both flew into the air heading to ponyville General. Rainbow looked down at her and saw that she was looking at her. "Don't worry we'll get you somewhere safe,". The mare in her arms closed her eyes, panicking Rainbow flew as fast she could. In the distance three shadowy creatures stood on the tree top watching their master being taken away. "So we're just gonna let them take her?" One of them said. "What do you want us to do we can't exactly show ourselves to them. The would think we were the ones who attacked her" "Still though it's a bit comforting knowing she's safe" "What if they contact the princess?" "They won't know as along she looks like a regular bat pony" one of them got up. "Where are you going vanitas?" "To speak to a certain party pony" Vanitas said before disappearing. "He's always such a party poper" one shadow pony said in a cheery voice. "Yeah, but he's got a point that pony somehow always knows when somepony new shows up in town," "But come on Apophis I bet she makes the best cakes In all of equestria," "I bet she doesn't. If you want cake so bad why don't you just go steal some bits and buy yourself cake, mania" Apophis said jumping down from the tree and landing in a puddle of water. "Oh come on not you too, you three always manage to suck the fun out of everything," "Just be thankful she's not here to hear you say that," Mania pouted crossing her arms and looking sideways. ~============~ Reaching the hospital they went to the emergency lot of the hospital. "We need help!!" Rainbow yelled. Then after doctors and nurses came rushing in with a gurney. Settling the unknown mare on the gurney doctors immediately went to check her pulse, check her eyes and her everything. "Do you know what happened to her" one doctor asked "We don't know we found her in the everfree like that an-" she explained but was cut off by one of the nurses. "The everfree?!?!?" One of the nurses exclaimed. "Doctor we need to get to ER now," "Right," she said as she rushed her to the ER. "Is she going to be alright?" Fluttershy asked. See the the mare on the gurney disappeared behind doors "She's going to be fine dear we got this covered. How about you and your friend tell me everything you saw okay" "Okay," so they told the nurse about how they heard the mare screaming and went to check it out. When the got there they saw her laying against a tree bloodied and bruised. "And that's it? You didn't see anypony or anything leaving her alone?" The nurse asked concerned that the poor mare was there all alone with no evidence of anypony attacking her. "No we didn't" Rainbow said sitting down over stressed she'd been. "You girls go home, if anything happens we notify you if we can. And you miss dash I suggest you change," Rainbow looked down at her clothes. She saw her blood she griped it angry at how pony would leave an injured mare In a place like that. She nodded but before she and Fluttershy left she said "Hey would be alright if we came back later y'know to check up on her," "Sure that's fine" the nurse waved the two mares goodbye before going to check on her new patient. ~=============~ Later in Pinkie Pie's room Pinkie Pie awoke to her Pinkie senses tingling notifying her that a potential new friend had just made it into town, but she felt this friend was hurt. So she jumped up of the bed. She then saw a shadow shape pony in her chair petting gummy. "Well hello miss Pie, nice to meet you my name is Vanitas and no I'm not the potential new friend your...Pinkie sense was it, oh yes that just sensed" Vanitas said. As reading her thoughts she asked "how did you know about my Pinkie sense?". "I know all sorts of things" as if on que Pinkie opened her mouth but beat her to it. "And no I don't know any baking recipes to help I only know what my master knows. Though she does know of one recipe a pie that melts in your mouth," Pinkie Pie's eyes lit up like fire works at the possibility of a new baking friend. But the "wait a minute your master?" "Yes the pony you just sensed she was just brought in to the hospital by two of your friends Fluttershy and Rainbow dash," "What happened to her? Is she alright?" Worried about her new friend being hurt. "She's fine for now, but I'm going to need you to stay away from her," "What why," she couldn't for the life of her figure out why this shadow pony didn't want her near her new best friend. "It precisely your the reason why I can't have you near her right now. Look miss Pie I'm sure you're a wonderful pony to be around and all but you can't just go up to her and expect to be friends right away she needs time to get used to her new surroundings. Otherwise if you go do your stuff for her she'll be overwhelmed," "So can't go visit her" she asked sounding sad. "You can but just don't do any of your parties or surprises," Vanitas said as opened a portal. "Oh and before I go try to ease her into the friendship thing she's been betrayed by a friend and that's how she ended up in the situation that she's in so just be careful with that please," she said as she stepped through the portal. Pinkie Pie stood there unsure on how to take this. She knows she has to help her new friend but Vanitas said she's been hurt by betrayal of friendship. So how should she go about this. My name is Aura EmbersAs she awoke she found herself on a beach. She knew this beach it was the one place in the dream realm she could be at peace. The beach it self wasn't anything special in her mind. Out facing the sea and sitting on a towel she looked up in the moonlit sky with all the beautiful stars that came with such scenery. She closed her eyes listening to the waves crashing on the shore. When she opened her eyes she spotted a pony at her shore staring at the Night sky. She recognized the pony as princess luna of the night, but what was she doing here as gar as she knew she wasn't having a night mare. She made her way off her towel and toward the shore where the princess stood. "You have kept me waiting for quite awhile little pony," the princess of the night said. "Came here to admire a work you did not create princess," as she stood beside the princess she took the time to see the princess herself. She had no clothes on and neither had she. But that was normal for her she was always naked in her dreams, she wanted to be free as the day she was born. "Watch your self little pony despite you knowing how to control your dreams I can still give you nightmares," Luna was now looking at her with a threatening glare. "We both know you can't and won't do that because your still afraid to use the power of darkness In fear of becoming the famous Nightmare Moon. And even if you did have power over me, which you don't I'm still in equal power to you in magic," she said walking back to her towel with luna following close behind. Luna grabbed onto her shoulder to step her moving forward. "You lie, nopony has the power to traverse the dream realm as well as I. If there was we would know of it," "perhaps we got of one the wrong foot. my name is Aura Embers," she stuck out her hand towards Luna. which she took. "I am the princess of the night Luna," she shook hand with a grip. Moonlight let go of Luna's hand and went back to resting on her towel. "Where do you think you're going," "Uhhh going to rest on my towel so I can enjoy the scenery" and she wasn't talking about the sky. While she was a huge fan of the show back in her old world there was one pony that was her absolute favorite pony/alicorn, Nightmare moon. Though she only appeared a limited time in the show, but that's what made her so good to Aura. But Luna was nice too she had to admit. The way the mlp fandom portrayed was nothing compared to the Luna that was sitting beside her. Luna saw that was indeed a towel laid across the beach. when she blinked saw that there were two towels side by side each other. She then looked at her and saw that Aura was already sitting down on her towel. Aura patted the towel next to her inviting Luna to sit down next to her. Though reluctant she did sit, but she pulled the towel away from Aura. "So what's a princess of dreams doing here, so far as I can tell I have no nightmares," which was true she wasn't scarred of her nightmares so why was Luna here. "Your door to your dream showed a dark aura so I had to investigate. But it was interesting," Luna replied "Oh," "Yes when I entered I was transported to place of sea and sky and the the sea was flat and was reflecting the sky, though i could stand on said sea. I was wondering there for hours until I found a door leading here," as she said this she was staring out at the sea. "Why do you have a protective realm that protects your mind. I have never encountered some like that before," "Well for one that wasn't a protective realm that's more of like a check point," one her most challenging 'check points' it was design by Apophis to read the person or pony's mind and heart. If they had intensions to hurt Moonlight they would be shot out her mind and they were going to endure pain in their head that made it feel like their head was splitting in two. Though it lasted for one minute. As she explained to Luna she was shocked and was glad she wasn't shot back out of her mind. "So what are you if your not one of my bat ponies then what are?" As she went to respond she sensed something behind them, she looked behind her and saw inky tentacles growing on the tree. Luna saw this as well and went into a defensive stance. "What is this?" she asked feeling fear but it wasn't her it was Aura's fear. She looked at her and saw that Moonlight was on her knees gripping her head panicking. "No no NO you can't be back. I put you in the trap door and sealed it. you can't be back," she was panicking this monster was coming back. The tree that the tendril was growing on the tree turned the tree into pony shape person. Then a magic blast came from Luna's horn she had try to banish the nightmare from the poor mare's mind but the shadow was still there unfazed by her attack. The shadow turned into a version of Moonlight, but she was fully back instead of the usually grey that most bat ponies had. Her hair was ethereal like Luna's but it was completely black moving in the none existent wind but it gave off a very inky way of moving. Her eyes were bright purple both in the outer eyes and inside. "Oh it feels so good to be out of that place," the shadow figure was coaming her hair before noticing Luna. "Oh! I didn't know you had a guest Mia,". The shadow figure was began laughing. Luna fired up her horn but the shadow was faster. Tendrils appeared from the ground at both at Luna and Aura's feet. the tendrils began coiling around their bodies binding their limbs to their bodies, one tendril managed coil itself around Luna's horn cutting her off from her magic. The two mares were bound together back to back against each other. "No no we can't have that now can we..." The shadow got closer towards the two of them. she then grabbed Aura's throat. "Now you, i have some fun things planned so the both of us can enjoy" Luna tried to get loose not managing to." what are you?" "I'm what you what you call a shadow. like your little Nightmare Moon form we're buried deep inside your heart and get stronger and stronger by you burying your repressed thought deep inside yourself," The shadow let go of Moonlight's throat. She then moved in front of Luna and placed her hand of Luna's chest. "And she's still in there waiting to be free," The shadow then began to laugh again. But unknown to Luna and Moonlight the shadow was pouring dark magic to bring out Nightmare Moon out of Luna. "No the elements bani-," Luna noticed something, she looked down as much as she could with the tendril hold her horn. Her shadow began move out from under her then moving under the shadow touching Luna. Luna's shadow moved behind the shadow . Then it began to shape by rising from the ground too take the shape of a pony. it turned into Nightmare Moon. Luna was terrified she thought she would never she her again. "Why am I here. what am i..." Nightmare then notice Luna" oh you I'm going t-" she went to attack Luna but felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked at whoever was touching her, her Nightmare Moon. "Hold on there, not yet we need to let them know we exist that will be torture enough" she then summoned a corridor. "And who you think you are stopping me. I will destroy you," she charged her horn but the shadow stopped her by snapping her fingers snuffing out Nightmare's magic completely. "How did... what did you do to me.," "Relax I just nullified you magic. And reason you can't attack them is because if you kill her you'll die along with her" the shadow began to walk towards the dark corridor. "Follow me I'll tell you the plan once we're out of this dream," Nightmare looked a Luna and smirked at her fear. She placed a hand on Luna's cheek. Though look hesitant Nightmare followed the shadow through but before she did she asked "so what is your name savior" "You can call me..." the shadow looked at Aura. she stared back with fear in her eyes at her worst nightmare brought. "Mia...". Mia then stepped through the corridor with Nightmare following soon after. Soon after the corridor disappeared the tendrils that were binding the two mares dissolved into inky puddles. After the tendrils were completely gone the two mares fell to the ground. Luna tried to stand up but couldn't due to her legs crippled with fear. "we have... stop them," she tried to stand up but fell on her face. "we can't their too strong," Aura said sitting on haunches. Fear still plagued her despite 'she' being gone. "What have you wrought upon us," she said glaring with anger at Aura. she began to crawl, it would almost comical it the situation wasn't so serious. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to release her. the seal must of broken because of my betrayal" "What do you mean?" Luna asked curious. "I was betrayed by my friends and family and I guess that's what broke the seal on the trapped door deep inside my mind" "What happened?" feeling even more curious at the mare. "Years ago on a different world called earth. I was once part of a race called humans," she said with her back against the tree. "I hated being part of that race so I became this, a thestral a bat pony hybrid," "The how were you betrayed what does that have to do that thing being released," Moonlight sighed "To answer both those questions I'll have to answer the second one," she then got up walked over to Luna to help her up" Luna got up into a sitting position with Aura sitting beside her. "When I changed I felt powerful. My world had no magic so I created it though no one knew how to use it even though it available for everyone to use. The reason was because no one discovered it. But that wasn't the only thing I created I also created new life called venians," "Venians?" Luna asked wondering how she could create magic. for all she knew magic couldn't be created it already was created, it existed all around them. it was inside every living thing in equestria. you couldn't created magic, or could you? she knew that magic spells could be created but to create a whole new magic that was something that star swirl couldn't even do. But if what if she said was true and her world had no magic then it was possible for her to do it in her world. She already new other worlds existed due to her sister once visited a world where sombra was good and was courting her. That was one memory she wanted to forget. "The venians were a race that was the best of both world combined with animal and human DNA they were able to become better than their counter parts. I created six venians to be my friends even my family. but back to me as i was training with my new found power my desire to rule and conquer grew stronger and I was barely able to resist its sweet temptations. in the end it consumed me and I let it and became this dark entity that stopped at nothing to rule and conquer," "Then how were you stopped" she wondered is she was same her. "My friends managed to banish it with their magic but that wasn't enough, she was still there in my mind trying to get me to submit to her again. But I didn't listen I banished her in the trap door in my mind," "Trap door, you mentioned that before what is that?" "Its a place in my mind where I banish all my darker thoughts. when I sealed that place it was my bond with my friends and family the kept it sealed. But that's gone and I have no one or any pony left in my life, that was what broke the seal and set her free," she said this as she was laying down on her back. "So what are going to do now we have to stop them," she got up and went back the way she came. She stop she turned to Aura who was looking at the ground. Luna couldn't help be see her self in her she was here alone. "Where are you right now?" "Probably at ponyville general I was damaged pretty badly my body can't really move much" Luna wide eyed kneeled in front of Aura she placed her hand on Aura. " What happened to you? Who found you?" Aura looked up at Luna with tears in her eyes. "I told you..." she got up slapping Luna hand. "I was betrayed... they tried to kill me after all I did for them and the repay me by banishing me...here," she said sobbing. she then fell to the ground her hand on her face. "Don't worry I'll get you somewhere safe once I find you," she put her hands around Aura. 'she is like me... here... alone' Aura stood up slapping Luna's hand away" So what so you can banish me from this world too?" she started to walk away when Luna grabbed her wrist stopping her. Luna could see that she wasn't in the right in the right mind to deal with this. As she looked around and the beach was crumbling around them it was getting un stable. Luna felt a pull on her body. Then Luna was pulled out of the dream "Aura!!!" she yelled as she was pulled out. She saw the door to Aura's dream. She tried to get in but lack inky tendrils were covering the door in a rapid pace preventing Luna from entering Aura's dream. "Aura please let me in i can help you," she banged the door with her fist. With no response the door started to dissolve into a inky mess. Luna tried to reverse the door back into shape but the magic was too strong she would need to be a bit stronger to reverse it. By the time she managed to gather enough magic, the door was gone. right where the door once stood was another pony's dream. one of which she would not enter until she knew that mare was safe. She exited the dream realm and went straight to her sister's room, which it was already close to morning so she knew she would be awake. And as she passed the two night guards that stood by her sister's room she was reminded of Aura. She greeted the two guards and proceeded into the Celestia room. Sitting in her chair near the fire place was Celestia herself, she was reading a book. She look up at whoever entered her room when she saw that it was her sister Luna she smiled that only she shared between her and her sister. "Ah Luna i was just about to raise the sun. what brings you here dear sister?" "Its Nightmare Moon she back" at this Celestia smile dropped. she got up from her chair walking over Luna "Luna she can't be back the elements banished her she's gone Lulu," she said grabbing onto Luna's shoulder. "But she was still inside me and that monster brought her out," she walked away from Celestia to the fire place looking down at it with sadness in her eyes. "What happened?" worried for her sister she walked beside her trying to see into her little sister's eyes. "I was in the dream realm when I spotted a unusual door that had blue light emanating from it. I went to check it out and I was transported to a place of sky and sea, there was land I was standing on but the sea was reflecting the sky. I was wondering there for hours on end until I was a door. I went through it and saw a place I couldn't believe could exists in ponies dreams," she said smiling at the memory. "What place was that Lulu," she was happy seeing her sister happy. But what bothered her was the she said Nightmare Moon was back. How? "it was a beautiful place dear sister. It was a beach but it wasn't the beach itself that was beautiful it was the sky. the moon in the sky stars behind it were all so beautifully placed as if made by a artist themselves. but then I met a mare by the name of Aura Embers and she already knew who I was. we were talking when a creature came from nowhere. she was the exact copy of Aura but she was different. she tied the two of us together I tried to use my magic to dispel her from existence but she negated my magic. She told me that Nightmare Moon was still inside me and she released her from inside me. and when i saw her i was terrified at what I saw her a darker version of me," Luna was at the point of crying in her sisters arms. "Shhhh dear sister she can't hurt you," she felt Luna holding on tighter. She notice something that her sister said this Aura Embers. she looked down Luna's face which was matted with tears staining her beautiful face, she felt pain in her heart seeing this. "Hey Lulu where is this Aura. Maybe if this creature came from her dreams maybe she knows how to deal with it " "I don't know we can talk with her for the moment, she said she was in ponyville general" "What!?!?!" she said alarmed. "What happened? Is she alright? "I don't know what happened, but she said she was betrayed and thats how she ended up in the state she is," she remembered what she said ' I was betrayed... they tried to kill me after all I did for them and the repay me by banishing me...here,' "She said was almost killed by her friends," "Hmmhm well she mustn't be left alone. I'll twight to get her ready for transfer to the hospital in the castle then we can talk to her then," she summoned a scroll and wrote to twilght exactly what she said she was about to sent off the scroll but Luna stopped her. "Thank you dear sister. But we should let her rest ," Luna hugged celestia tight. "Why deat sister she Is clearly troubled and needs our help if we let her be she will only grow more so," confused at Luna's she lowered the scroll. "I know but I have a feeling twilight and her friend will help her. I'll contact her again through dream sometime later. Right now she's in fragile state and if bother her anymore I fear she'll become worst than the shadow itself," "OK Lulu I trust your judgment. I'll holdof on the scroll for now,". ~==============~ Deep inside the nightmare realm sat two creatures made entirely of shadows of two ponies they hated but couldn't kill because if they did they would die along with them. So here they were forming a plan to grow stronger than the two ponies they hated. "So Mia why did you take me out of Luna?" Nightmare Moon said with her hand underneath her chin and elbow on table. "Well I don't really have a reason why I did it, I just did. And as for how we'll deal with them we'll have to gather more villains for this because this requires more than just the two of us to pull off," she summoned two tea cups with a teapot. She poured herself and for Nightmare Moon. She place Nightmare's tea cup in front of her and her tea cup in front of her. "What do you have in mind?" She took a sip of the tea which was quite delicious in her tastes. "First we'll have to get more help. I'm thinking Daybreaker," she also took a sip of her tea. "And who Is this Daybreaker you speak of she sounds powerful," "She's Celestia's shadow and the I plan to release next," she saw Nightmare's wide eyed expression. She would have expected Celestia herself had a shadow of her own. She was the holy light in everyponies life. If she had a shadow of her own she was hiding it well. "Well I can assure she does. You see after she banished you and Luna to the moon she felt an intense amount of guilt and over the thousand years she spent without her dear sister Luna that guilt grew into darkness. The only reason she was able to keep it at bay was due to the ponies in her life. But that darkness that shadow just waiting to be released, oh how much chaos she can bring," "And how to you know she wouldn't kill us as soon as she sees us. The only reason I haven't killed you was because you saved me from that hell of being inside that sorrowful pony's mind," she then placed her empty tea cup on its saucer, asking for more tea. Mia poured more tea into Nightmare's cup. "Well for one when can become so much better if we all worked together. And If she doesn't well she can meet the same fate you suffered at the hands of twilight and her friends and this time..." she leaned over the table at where they were sitting at." there wouldn't be a a way for her to survive this time," "Are you threatening us?" She asked feeling the threatening tone coming from Mia's voice. "No. Just finding out where your where your allegiances lies cause you see while you mind be connected to Luna, she is not connected to you meaning you can die and she'll be completely fine. This is why we must work together otherwise without them their our life line," "And what happens if they do find us they're just going to use the elements on us" "And that's exactly why I have a second part of my plan involves us finding ourselves new vessels to In habit so it can protect our spirits so we inhabit as many bodies as we want," "Hmm that does sound interesting what's your third part of your plan," she said curious. "Well we'll cross that bridge when we come to it right now we focus on the first part of the plan getting more people first," "Fine I'm in" Nightmare said with a wicked smile on her face. She took another sip all the while laughing manically. A new beginningAura opened her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling. She tried do look around but only able to turn her neck due to how strain she put her body in. During battle she pushed her body to its limits. "Oh your wake, can you hear me dear," look to see the source of the voice. She saw a light blue mare, her hair tied up in a bun which was a darker shade of her coat. Alone with her thoughts she began to look around the room. trying to ignore her bandaged body and the faint pain that came with it. It was a normal hospital room as far she can tell. Just then she heard a sound coming from outside her room. Her burst opened two ponies making out while coming into the room. They stopped when they noticed Aura sitting up on the bed. With all three of their faces flushed, the couple backed off each other. "Uhhh Hi, I thought you said this room was empty" the light grey mare hit the stallion on the shoulder. "sorry babe I thought it was. At least it was last night," he said rubbing the back of his head. The mare gave a look that could melt steel. "Look we're so sorry miss." when he looked at the mare sitting on the bed he was wide eyed. she was in sense beautiful, not more than her marefriend but it could match hers. "Heh don't worry about it. if i had a bit for every time I saw that happened i saw that. i'd have two bits which is not alot but it is weird it happened twice," She place her hand on her chin while saying this well as much as could anyway. she looked at the couple who looked at her confused,' well no point in referencing that here that here then'. "My name is Aura Embers by the way" "Cherry Lotus," she said taking a step forward the bed "Ginger Spots," and indeed he was he had a ginger colored coat with freckles adorning his face. His hair was a darkish yellow but it was typical cowboy styles hair. "So am I gonna forget what what I was or that's that's gonna be apart of my sex dream one night," At this couple faces were beat red. but then they noticed the state that Aura was in. "Hey," Ginger asked. "What happened to you if you don't mind me asking," Cherry picked up Auras chart and gasped at what she read. Ginger read it as well and was wide eyed at what he read. He looked back up on mare on the bed. Seeing their faces she tried to lift her hands as much as she could wincing at the pain. "I just got into a little fight that's all. i'm fine now aren't I," she tried to assure them that she was alright, but they weren't buying it. "A little A LITTLE how could you call this little," "I must agree it looks like whoever did this should be in jail," Just then the door open. The nurse and the doctor came into the room. Noticing the two interns. The doctor tried to resist the urge to pinch the bridge of his snout. "what are you two doing here you do realize that this room is in use, right," know all too well of their sexual escapades. "We didn't know, we were just-" she tried to explain but the doctor cut her off. "Let this be the last time i catch you doing something like this again, ya hear," the beside him chuckling. "I got into a fight with a few ponies and they left me for dead in the everfree," she couldn't tell them what actually happened. "Do you remembered what these ponies looked like. were they you friends, family somepony you knew," "No it all happened so fast. i couldn't see any pony that i was fighting," "Well don't worry we'll try to find whoever did this. Any who you have visitors," trying to lighten the mood. He nodded for the nurse to opened the door. The nurse opened the door revealing Fluttershy and Rainbow dash behind them was Rarity. They all came in with worried looks on their faces. When Rarity saw the state Aura was in she nearly fainted. "I told you she would't be ready to see her why did she even came along with us anyway," Rainbow said holding a nearly fainted Rarity. "W-well she insisted," Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair. "Well i'm fine darling i just didn't expect her to be this..." "Hurt?" Rainbow said finishing her sentence. As they close to the bed, the doctor and nurse excused themselves from the room to give her some space. They told her they would be back to check on her later. "Uh hi guess you were the ones who rescued me. i just want to say thanks," "no problem we just did what anypony would do," she felt that boost her ego just a bit. "I'm afraid i'm going to ask darling but are you alright," Rarity asked trying to ignore the bandaged body. "I'm fine I've been in worst situations before," at that she she saw their sadden a little at that. " My names Aura Embers," she tried to lift her hand to shake theirs but she was trying not to focus on the pain. The Rarity saw that she was trying to lift her bandaged hand, see how much she was struggling to shake theirs. Rarity placed her hand on Aura's hand. "You don't have push yourself darling," Aura placed her hand back down. "My name is Rarity the element of generosity, this is Rainbow Dash element of loyalty, and this is Fluttershy element of kindness," "Elements huh is that some sort of title?" she feigned not knowing who they were. "You mean you haven't heard of the elements of harmony," Rainbow asked shocked. who could she not heard of the elements of harmony. Their name should have spread all over equestria by now. "No i don't believe i have is that something i should know?" Rainbow's jaw fell to the floor how could this mare not heard of the Rainbow dash. "Darling where are you from, if i may ask," Rarity pulled a chair and sat down she motioned the others to do the same as well. "I don't know every time i try to remember it comes up fuzzy," And she wasn't lying that time during when Mia chokeholded her she erased some of her memories of earth. She remembered she was from earth, the main 6 and some the events that happened in the show. But she couldn't remember how she got to equestria all she knew that her ex-friends tried to kill her and that she was banished by them. But the important thing she knew she had: magic "So what do you remember darling," she was worried for this mare, if she couldn't remember anything then her and her friend would help her. "So far I can remember nothing," she looked at the others shocked faces "What?" she was wonder why they were staring at her. "Dear i think you amnesia. Rainbow dear go get the doctor just so we can make sure," "Ok," and with that she left. "Lets start with what you do know, shall we darling," Rarity turned her attention to Aura. "Well i remember being waking up in the forest all hurt and fighting a few ponies. It was only after a few minutes when she," Aura nodded towards Fluttershy who hid even further in her hair. "And Rainbow dash found me. and i passed out after that," "Oh my who were these brutes you fighting. What did they look like," she place her hand to her mouth. "Well i couldn't see because it was night and raining so not very much visibility," just then Rainbow came back with the doctor, this time Aura read his card on his coat it was Dapper Shine. "Miss Embers i heard you may have amnesia," Rarity stood up and pulled Dr.Shine into a corner. They started talking for while. "I see then i afraid there's nothing we can do until she can regain her memory. we can search for her existing records but until then all we can do is wait until she can recover," "Thank you doctor," Rarity said. she then noticed that Aura was facing the window with tears in eyes. "Are you aright dear you look like you're about to cry," "I just feel like i just forgot something important," "Well you know what they say 'if its important you'll remember it'" as she said this she placed her hand on Aura's. they chatted until visiting hours were up. it was mostly about Rainbow talking about her and her achievements and Rarity correcting most of those achievements. During all the talking Aura couldn't help but remember her time as Sapphire Shadow all the destruction she caused all the people she hurt (not kill even in her dark form she did not kill). She felt good, great even to feel that darkness wash over her. she never wanted to feel like that again. and with that they left saying they would be back when they can. ~=============~ A few days later Aura was in the middle of her crossword puzzle the nurses gave her, when she heard someone entered the door. She looked to see that it was Cherry and Ginger they were both wearing casual clothes. "Hey back so soon here for the second round," at that comment the couple faces were beet red. Cherry was the first to recover. "Hardy har har we know that was our mistake and were sorry about that," Cherry said pulling up a chair. "How are you feeling by the way?" "I'm fine and sorry about the joke i know that was a accident," she said putting up the book with the crossword puzzles in it. "Hey no worries we should have known somepony was in here," Ginger said sitting beside cherry. Cherry then notice the pitcher of water was empty. "Hey the pitcher's empty," she picked up the pitcher. "Hey babe could you take this and refill it please i don't want our new patient here to be thirsty,". "yeah sure babe," and with that he took the pitcher and went out the door. "so what's your story how did the two of you meet?" Aura asked. "You tried to slip in when i was sleeping," she had heard that somepony tried to enter her room when she was sleeping. "I thought i was quiet though," she sat down in the chair Cheer sat down in. "I'm Vinyl Scratch," reaching out for Aura's hand. "Aura embers," she took Vinyl's hand. "So miss Vinyl why did you hide under my bed," Vinyl was trying look everywhere but Aura's eyes. "Well y'know i just wanted to uhhh..." "Let me guess you're scared of needles or something of that nature," "That obvious huh. My marefriend brought my here because i passed out on stage due to dehydration. i woke up in the hospital bed which wouldn't be bad per say, but when they went to but that needle in my arm i panicked and ran. and then ended up here," "So let me get this straight you were here all night. She had pretend that she was meeting them for the first time, which she was but even though she knows them she had to pretend that she's seeing them for the first time. "My name is Twilight sparkle the princess of friendship," she sat down in the chair next to the bed. "As for the reason I was sent here was to talk about the coming danger that equestria faces. Yours and Luna's shadow I believe she said," Well there was no beating around the bush. "So how much do you know Twilight?" "From what Luna and I talked about. She said that you came from another world where you created magic, and that's where she came from," curious on how one can just create magic. "Well she can do everything I can do Plus more. I'll explain from the start," "Yes let's," excited at the prospect at gaining new knowledge. Aura sighed. "Yes i did created magic, and now I'm not telling you how I did it," Twilight awed. "Anyway I was consumed by my own darkness just as Luna had, but it didn't it consume me unwillingly i wanted it to consume me. I thought you knew that," "Oh right sorry I never thought you could use your magic here," "Anyway as I was saying. The heart is more like a soul but's not. The soul is what keeps you alive while the heart is what stores all you memories, emotions everything that makes you, well you," She pointed down at the lifeless inky creature. Twilight look at it and saw that it was moving and even waving at her. "But if you take away the heart from a pony they become a heartless pony. Their alive mostly heartless," She placed her hand on the creature, she then pulled a piece of light ball from the creature. The inky creature fell on the table, it look like it was still alive. "So how did you do that," Twilight asked "Yeah I can create any creature I can imagine," "How does she intend to take over equestria, when she in the dream realm," "She can still come out, all she need is a body," "How would she get one. it's not like anypony will be willing do give up their body," "I don't know..." ~=========================================~ Somewhere in the everfree a simple timber wolf was looking for its next prey. It felt something in its core then suddenly dark tendrils came from within the timber wolf grabbing each of its limbs binding it to its body. It yelled out feeling its pain increasing. 'Oh my your body is perfect for me to use'. The timber wolf dark core grew to cover her body it tried to break free clawing at it bindings. When the core completely covered the timber wolf its mind tried to fight whoever was trying to take over its body. A dark inky ball stood out in the forest, forming into a pony shape figure. But it looked like it was a fusion between a pony and timber wolf. She had the body shape of a pony but her body was entirely of wood giving her a very puppet look, her mane and tail were green like the timber wolf whose body she took over. Around her eyes wooden marking displayed as she were wearing a mask. Her body was a inky shape that wasn't covered by the wood, it still had the shape of a pony but it looked more like her body was mostly ink. "Ah that'll do nicely," she said inspecting her wood/bark covered arm. "What took you so long," looking to her side she saw Nightmare Moon But only it didn't look like her. Her body also looked like a fusion between a alicorn and a timber wolf. Her wooden body was dark as the void itself, but it was covered in wood. "I had trouble finding the right wolf to possess," She then walked closer to the one who freed her. "Why exactly do we possess these simple minded creatures," "Its exactly because they're simple minded that we can possess them. we'll get better bodies soon but right now we're weak we have to get stronger before getting stronger bodies," Mia then sat down near a tree, the tree then dried up instantly. Feeling her body absorbing the tree life source she sighed "Ah that is nice,". "How do get stronger in the first place," she tried to summon a fire ball but it fizzled out before it could be a fire ball. "We first need to absorb as much magic as we can. Then after that we need gather as much knowledge on dark and powerful mag-" Just then a blast of magic was shot towards Mia. She blocked it with a magic barrier which shattered upon impact, sending Mia skidding across the forest. "Well well well what do we have here. Does a lost shadow puppet need a way back to her master," Nightmare was getting ready to attack this mysterious when Mia stopped her. "You shouldn't even be out sapphire you and all your darkness should be banished to Tartarus," The being in question stepped out from behind the tree, revealing dark pony shape with her eyes being pink. "Come on now vanitas we were just having fun, can't you just let this one off the hook please," she said in a mocking tone all the while getting down on her knees in a praying position. Nightmare was looking between the two ponies. she charged up her wooden horn to fire a blast at the suspecting pony. When she fire it off she found herself unable to do so. She fell on her knees and falling forward. Seeing this Mia went to explain "You can't use magic yet because you use up all the magic the timber wolf had in it, the only thing keeping your form is your magic is barely keeping your form together," As said this she got and went to push Nightmare against a tree for her to absorb the tree's magic but then remembered vanitas. "Oh and you, be a dear be patient please," She summoned vines to bind vanitas but she escaped before the vines could eclipse her. Out of nowhere a blast of fire ball flew towards vanitas. She tried to dodge but it was too fast, and she was obliterated in seconds. Out of the grove of tree out came a figure the would have been a goddess herself if not for her wooden body. flaming hair and white body was the goddess of destruction herself: Daybreaker. "I thought you weren't coming," She carried Nightmare Moon to a nearby tree and laid her there. "I decided it would be much more fun to have a 'hands on' Approach," She said walking over to Mia And Nightmare. "And there was something I was curious about," "Oh and what would that be?" "You," She grabbed Mia by the throat, lifting her off the ground to her eye level. "You seem to know lot about us 'shadows' and seem to have the knowledge on how to gain these bodies. So tell me how exactly are we going to gain newer bodies than what we currently have," "We have absorb enough magic to create our new bodies, but at current rate we'll have to absorbs massive amounts of magic in order to pull it off," She tried to get Daybreaker to let go but she Didn't want to waste magic on doing it. "And beside after you get your body You'll kill both of us and try to fight you good half celestia, but you'll lose she has the elements of harmony behind her," Chuckling turning into a full blown laughter. "You are wrong on both those points dear, First i'm not going to kill you that would waste, and her...," She looked at Nightmare who was unconscious at this point. "She can become my cum dump slut. And second i won't lose against those weak elements of harmony, they won't stand chance Against the plan you and I will set up for them," "And what makes you think I'll plan anything with you," "Because my dear I know what you desire and i can give it to you..." Daybreaker pulled Mia closer so she can whisper in her ear. As soon as she did Mia's eyes widened. "How did you know about that," She was struggling even more in Daybreaker's grip, all the while Daybreaker was laughing. "I know that because just has you've been in my mind I've also been in yours as well, and what i found is quite interesting indeed. And because of that little trip i took i know you're a lot more knowledgeable than you seem to both you and your other half," she threw Mia down on the ground. "But first we have to gain our new bodies, both you and her will have to gather magic as fast as you can," She summoned a portal. "But be quick about it dear I am not a patient pony," And with that Daybreaker disappeared through the portal. Mia checked to see if she was gone before smiling, the first part of her plan had begun. ~=======================~ Later at the hospital as Twilight and Aura were talking Aura sensed something was wrong when suddenly a massive black ball formed in her room. "What is that?" Twilight asked getting into a fighting stance. "Wait," sensing that she knew what it was. The ball formed into a pony and then fell to the ground. The pony in question seeming injured and had burn marks all over her body. "Vanitas!!" she yelled. She tried to get but couldn't due to her body being injured. "Vanitas?" she asked walking over to the mysterious pony. The pony got up or at least tried to, she fell down every time she got up. Twilight walk over to Vanitas to help her up and sets her on the chair. She went to get a doctor but when she did she felt somepony grab her hand. "Don't... please," Twilight felt conflicted she had to get somepony to help this pony. Vanitas turn her attention back to her master. "Mistress she's here... I fought her but I lost," "Vanitas what happened," She nodded for Twilight sit down "I was in the everfree when i sensed something deeper in the forest so I went to investigate. I found Mia in a wooden form," "Wooden form?" Twilight asked. "She must have used a timber wolf as her vessel. She must be trying to gather enough magic to create a body," "Is that even possible?" Twilight seemed even more curious. "Yes you could create a magic created body, but the problem is you would need huge amounts of magic to do it. Like two to three times the population for canterlot," Aura explained. "Yes but she wasn't alone Nightmare moon was there as well," "Nightmare Moon is back!!!" Twilight yelled causing Vanitas ears to splayed back. Seeing this she said "Sorry," "Mia must've taught her how to transport her heart into a vessel," Aura held out her hand towards vanitas, she then turned into a wisp of dark smoke that got absorbed into Aura. "Rest vanitas be at peace," "How do we stop them, I mean maybe if use our harmony powers-" "That won't work because we can destroy their bodies as many times as it takes it won't change anything as long as their hearts remain intact, they will keep gaining bodies," "Then how do we stop them," "For now it looks like they're still weak and will try to strengthen themselves with magic," "How," Twilight asked "There are a few ways but two most effective ways to do it. The first is love, if you are near two ponies that are deeply in love with each other you could gain magic love from them, or drain a pony of it," "And the second?" "The second method is what they will most likely use: Fear if they can scare a lot of ponies they can use the magic of that fear to get stronger. Basically the more ponies are afraid the stronger they can become and the more magic they will gain," "Then how can we stop them," "We have to capture them, but we have to be careful," "Why," "Because if I'm right then we're facing a lot more than just those two..." A new worldAuthor's Note I know when your reading this it my look sloppy please forgive me this is my first time posting my fanfic stories on here. And I'm open to criticism so what ever you mention something in the story, that isn't how a writer writes things I will be happy to change it. So please read and enjoy the presentation A new world It was a dark and rainy night. A dark corridor appeared in the everfree forest and a burst of dark ember flames shot from the corridor. It shot forth a creature of the night she was in the form of the ponies of this world. She was flapping her wings as fast as she could to get to the corridor, she tried to run but couldn't because her body was heavily damaged. The corridor fading before her. "Nonononono please" she fell to the ground yelling in pain. The corridor disappearing in front of her eyes. Slammed her arm down causing it to break. She yelled even more in pain. "You can't banish me" she looked up to where the portal was. "I MADE YOU!!!" She yelled out before collapsing to the ground. "you...traitors you can't banish me," tears were streaming down her face, but it wasn't clear if that was the rain. She slowly got up on her hooves but couldn't stand due to broken her leg was. She gave up on walking out of this forest, she leaned against a tree. She examined her body, but couldn't see due to the blood streaming down her face. She felt the big wound across her stomach that she sustained during her battle. As she remembering that battle she felt a massive headache she tried grab her head but felt pain through out her entire left arm. She looked at it and she had a third degree burn on her entire arm from her hand to her shoulder. Now that she noticed her entire left arm started searing with pain. She was yelling with how much it hurt practicality screaming at the top of her lungs which she couldn't do for very long due to one of her rib cage being broken. That got the attention of a certain yellow and blue Pegasus. Despite her bleeding out, her magic was keeping her alive ' huh at least that works' she thought. She was struggling to keep her eyes open. As she leaned against the tree she two figures approaching, she couldn't make the out them due to her consciousness, but from what she could tell one was blue with a rainbow mane, and the other was yellow with a pink mane. "Hey are you okay?" the yellow Pegasus rushed up to her. Gasping at her injuries she had on her body. She ran up to her to check her pulse sighing a sigh of relief. They ascended up into the air as fast as the could. She began to lose consciousness due to the pain she tried to see one last time who was carrying her, but all she could make out was a blue pony with rainbow mane. "Don't worry we'll get you somewhere safe," the blue Pegasus said looking down at her then looking back up to the direction they were going. She couldn't keep her open any more. She had multiple cut, bruises and what looked stab wounds across her body, one at her shoulder one big one across her stomach a burn wound on her arm, and what looked like a broken arm blood dripping down her face. Fluttershy dropped the umbrella She was carrying and rush over to the injured mare to check her pulse. Rainbow was looking around trying to find whoever this is. "Come on out you cowards" she searched around but found nothing but trees. It was clear whoever did this was now long gone. "Rainbow we need to get her to the hospital" Fluttershy said trying to see if the filly was responsive. My name is Aura EmbersAs she awoke she found herself on a beach. She knew this beach it was the one place in the dream realm she could be at peace. The beach it self wasn't anything special in her mind. Out facing the sea and sitting on a towel she looked up in the moonlit sky with all the beautiful stars that came with such scenery. She closed her eyes listening to the waves crashing on the shore. When she opened her eyes she spotted a pony at her shore staring at the Night sky. She recognized the pony as princess luna of the night, but what was she doing here as gar as she knew she wasn't having a night mare. She made her way off her towel and toward the shore where the princess stood. "You have kept me waiting for quite awhile little pony," the princess of the night said. "Came here to admire a work you did not create princess," as she stood beside the princess she took the time to see the princess herself. She had no clothes on and neither had she. But that was normal for her she was always naked in her dreams, she wanted to be free as the day she was born. "Watch your self little pony despite you knowing how to control your dreams I can still give you nightmares," Luna was now looking at her with a threatening glare. "We both know you can't and won't do that because your still afraid to use the power of darkness In fear of becoming the famous Nightmare Moon. And even if you did have power over me, which you don't I'm still in equal power to you in magic," she said walking back to her towel with luna following close behind. Though she only appeared a limited time in the show, but that's what made her so good to Aura. But Luna was nice too she had to admit. The way the mlp fandom portrayed was nothing compared to the Luna that was sitting beside her. Luna saw that was indeed a towel laid across the beach. when she blinked saw that there were two towels side by side each other. She then looked at her and saw that Aura was already sitting down on her towel. Aura patted the towel next to her inviting Luna to sit down next to her. Though reluctant she did sit, but she pulled the towel away from Aura. "So what's a princess of dreams doing here, so far as I can tell I have no nightmares," which was true she wasn't scarred of her nightmares so why was Luna here. "Your door to your dream showed a dark aura so I had to investigate. But it was interesting," Luna replied "Oh," "Yes when I entered I was transported to place of sea and sky and the the sea was flat and was reflecting the sky, though i could stand on said sea. I was wondering there for hours until I found a door leading here," as she said this she was staring out at the sea. "Why do you have a protective realm that protects your mind. I have never encountered some like that before," "Well for one that wasn't a protective realm that's more of like a check point," one her most challenging 'check points' it was design by Apophis to read the person or pony's mind and heart. If they had intensions to hurt Moonlight they would be shot out her mind and they were going to endure pain in their head that made it feel like their head was splitting in two. Though it lasted for one minute. As she explained to Luna she was shocked and was glad she wasn't shot back out of her mind. "So what are you if your not one of my bat ponies then what are?" As she went to respond she sensed something behind them, she looked behind her and saw inky tentacles growing on the tree. Luna saw this as well and went into a defensive stance. "What is this?" she asked feeling fear but it wasn't her it was Aura's fear. She looked at her and saw that Moonlight was on her knees gripping her head panicking. "No no NO you can't be back. I put you in the trap door and sealed it. you can't be back," she was panicking this monster was coming back. The tree that the tendril was growing on the tree turned the tree into pony shape person. Then a magic blast came from Luna's horn she had try to banish the nightmare from the poor mare's mind but the shadow was still there unfazed by her attack. The shadow turned into a version of Moonlight, but she was fully back instead of the usually grey that most bat ponies had. Her hair was ethereal like Luna's but it was completely black moving in the none existent wind but it gave off a very inky way of moving. Her eyes were bright purple both in the outer eyes and inside. "Oh it feels so good to be out of that place," the shadow figure was coaming her hair before noticing Luna. "Oh! I didn't know you had a guest Mia,". The shadow figure was began laughing. Luna fired up her horn but the shadow was faster. Tendrils appeared from the ground at both at Luna and Aura's feet. the tendrils began coiling around their bodies binding their limbs to their bodies, one tendril managed coil itself around Luna's horn cutting her off from her magic. The two mares were bound together back to back against each other. "No no we can't have that now can we..." The shadow got closer towards the two of them. she then grabbed Aura's throat. "Now you, i have some fun things planned so the both of us can enjoy" Luna tried to get loose not managing to." what are you?" "I'm what you what you call a shadow. like your little Nightmare Moon form we're buried deep inside your heart and get stronger and stronger by you burying your repressed thought deep inside yourself," The shadow let go of Moonlight's throat. She then moved in front of Luna and placed her hand of Luna's chest. "And she's still in there waiting to be free," The shadow then began to laugh again. But unknown to Luna and Moonlight the shadow was pouring dark magic to bring out Nightmare Moon out of Luna. "No the elements bani-," Luna noticed something, she looked down as much as she could with the tendril hold her horn. Her shadow began move out from under her then moving under the shadow touching Luna. Luna's shadow moved behind the shadow . Then it began to shape by rising from the ground too take the shape of a pony. it turned into Nightmare Moon. Luna was terrified she thought she would never she her again. "Why am I here. what am i..." Nightmare then notice Luna" oh you I'm going t-" she went to attack Luna but felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked at whoever was touching her, her Nightmare Moon. "Hold on there, not yet we need to let them know we exist that will be torture enough" she then summoned a corridor. "And who you think you are stopping me. I will destroy you," she charged her horn but the shadow stopped her by snapping her fingers snuffing out Nightmare's magic completely. "How did... what did you do to me.," "Relax I just nullified you magic. And reason you can't attack them is because if you kill her you'll die along with her" the shadow began to walk towards the dark corridor. "Follow me I'll tell you the plan once we're out of this dream," Nightmare looked a Luna and smirked at her fear. She placed a hand on Luna's cheek. Though look hesitant Nightmare followed the shadow through but before she did she asked "so what is your name savior" "You can call me..." the shadow looked at Aura. she stared back with fear in her eyes at her worst nightmare brought. "Mia...". Mia then stepped through the corridor with Nightmare following soon after. Soon after the corridor disappeared the tendrils that were binding the two mares dissolved into inky puddles. After the tendrils were completely gone the two mares fell to the ground. Luna tried to stand up but couldn't due to her legs crippled with fear. "we have... stop them," she tried to stand up but fell on her face. "we can't their too strong," Aura said sitting on haunches. Fear still plagued her despite 'she' being gone. "What have you wrought upon us," she said glaring with anger at Aura. she began to crawl, it would almost comical it the situation wasn't so serious. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to release her. the seal must of broken because of my betrayal" "What do you mean?" Luna asked curious. "I was betrayed by my friends and family and I guess that's what broke the seal on the trapped door deep inside my mind" "What happened?" feeling even more curious at the mare. "Years ago on a different world called earth. I was once part of a race called humans," she said with her back against the tree. "I hated being part of that race so I became this, a thestral a bat pony hybrid," "The how were you betrayed what does that have to do that thing being released," Moonlight sighed "To answer both those questions I'll have to answer the second one," she then got up walked over to Luna to help her up" Luna got up into a sitting position with Aura sitting beside her. "When I changed I felt powerful. My world had no magic so I created it though no one knew how to use it even though it available for everyone to use. The reason was because no one discovered it. But that wasn't the only thing I created I also created new life called venians," "Venians?" Luna asked wondering how she could create magic. for all she knew magic couldn't be created it already was created, it existed all around them. it was inside every living thing in equestria. you couldn't created magic, or could you? she knew that magic spells could be created but to create a whole new magic that was something that star swirl couldn't even do. But if what if she said was true and her world had no magic then it was possible for her to do it in her world. She already new other worlds existed due to her sister once visited a world where sombra was good and was courting her. That was one memory she wanted to forget. "The venians were a race that was the best of both world combined with animal and human DNA they were able to become better than their counter parts. "Probably at ponyville general I was damaged pretty badly my body can't really move much" Luna wide eyed kneeled in front of Aura she placed her hand on Aura. " What happened to you? Who found you?" Aura looked up at Luna with tears in her eyes. "I told you..." she got up slapping Luna hand. "I was betrayed... they tried to kill me after all I did for them and the repay me by banishing me...here," she said sobbing. she then fell to the ground her hand on her face. "Don't worry I'll get you somewhere safe once I find you," she put her hands around Aura. Luna could see that she wasn't in the right in the right mind to deal with this. As she looked around and the beach was crumbling around them it was getting un stable. Luna felt a pull on her body. Then Luna was pulled out of the dream "Aura!!!" she yelled as she was pulled out. She saw the door to Aura's dream. She tried to get in but lack inky tendrils were covering the door in a rapid pace preventing Luna from entering Aura's dream. "Aura please let me in i can help you," she banged the door with her fist. With no response the door started to dissolve into a inky mess. Luna tried to reverse the door back into shape but the magic was too strong she would need to be a bit stronger to reverse it. By the time she managed to gather enough magic, the door was gone. right where the door once stood was another pony's dream. one of which she would not enter until she knew that mare was safe. She exited the dream realm and went straight to her sister's room, which it was already close to morning so she knew she would be awake. And as she passed the two night guards that stood by her sister's room she was reminded of Aura. She greeted the two guards and proceeded into the Celestia room. Sitting in her chair near the fire place was Celestia herself, she was reading a book. She look up at whoever entered her room when she saw that it was her sister Luna she smiled that only she shared between her and her sister. "Ah Luna i was just about to raise the sun. what brings you here dear sister?" "Its Nightmare Moon she back" at this Celestia smile dropped. she got up from her chair walking over Luna "Luna she can't be back the elements banished her she's gone Lulu," she said grabbing onto Luna's shoulder. "But she was still inside me and that monster brought her out," she walked away from Celestia to the fire place looking down at it with sadness in her eyes. "What happened?" worried for her sister she walked beside her trying to see into her little sister's eyes. "I was in the dream realm when I spotted a unusual door that had blue light emanating from it. I went to check it out and I was transported to a place of sky and sea, there was land I was standing on but the sea was reflecting the sky. I was wondering there for hours on end until I was a door. I went through it and saw a place I couldn't believe could exists in ponies dreams," she said smiling at the memory. "What place was that Lulu," she was happy seeing her sister happy. But what bothered her was the she said Nightmare Moon was back. How? "it was a beautiful place dear sister. It was a beach but it wasn't the beach itself that was beautiful it was the sky. the moon in the sky stars behind it were all so beautifully placed as if made by a artist themselves. but then I met a mare by the name of Aura Embers and she already knew who I was. we were talking when a creature came from nowhere. she was the exact copy of Aura but she was different. she tied the two of us together I tried to use my magic to dispel her from existence but she negated my magic. She told me that Nightmare Moon was still inside me and she released her from inside me. and when i saw her i was terrified at what I saw her a darker version of me," Luna was at the point of crying in her sisters arms. "Shhhh dear sister she can't hurt you," she felt Luna holding on tighter. She notice something that her sister said this Aura Embers. she looked down Luna's face which was matted with tears staining her beautiful face, she felt pain in her heart seeing this. "Hey Lulu where is this Aura. Maybe if this creature came from her dreams maybe she knows how to deal with it " "I don't know we can talk with her for the moment, she said she was in ponyville general" "What!?!?!" she said alarmed. "What happened? Is she alright? "I don't know what happened, but she said she was betrayed and thats how she ended up in the state she is," she remembered what she said ' I was betrayed... they tried to kill me after all I did for them and the repay me by banishing me...here,' "She said was almost killed by her friends," "Hmmhm well she mustn't be left alone. "Why deat sister she Is clearly troubled and needs our help if we let her be she will only grow more so," confused at Luna's she lowered the scroll. "I know but I have a feeling twilight and her friend will help her. I'll contact her again through dream sometime later. Right now she's in fragile state and if bother her anymore I fear she'll become worst than the shadow itself," "OK Lulu I trust your judgment. I'll holdof on the scroll for now,". ~==============~ Deep inside the nightmare realm sat two creatures made entirely of shadows of two ponies they hated but couldn't kill because if they did they would die along with them. So here they were forming a plan to grow stronger than the two ponies they hated. "So Mia why did you take me out of Luna?" Nightmare Moon said with her hand underneath her chin and elbow on table. "Well I don't really have a reason why I did it, I just did. And as for how we'll deal with them we'll have to gather more villains for this because this requires more than just the two of us to pull off," she summoned two tea cups with a teapot. She poured herself and for Nightmare Moon. She place Nightmare's tea cup in front of her and her tea cup in front of her. "What do you have in mind?" She took a sip of the tea which was quite delicious in her tastes. "First we'll have to get more help. I'm thinking Daybreaker," she also took a sip of her tea. "And who Is this Daybreaker you speak of she sounds powerful," "She's Celestia's shadow and the I plan to release next," she saw Nightmare's wide eyed expression. She would have expected Celestia herself had a shadow of her own. She was the holy light in everyponies life. If she had a shadow of her own she was hiding it well. "Well I can assure she does. You see after she banished you and Luna to the moon she felt an intense amount of guilt and over the thousand years she spent without her dear sister Luna that guilt grew into darkness. The only reason she was able to keep it at bay was due to the ponies in her life. But that darkness that shadow just waiting to be released, oh how much chaos she can bring," "And how to you know she wouldn't kill us as soon as she sees us. The only reason I haven't killed you was because you saved me from that hell of being inside that sorrowful pony's mind," she then placed her empty tea cup on its saucer, asking for more tea. Mia poured more tea into Nightmare's cup. "Well for one when can become so much better if we all worked together. And If she doesn't well she can meet the same fate you suffered at the hands of twilight and her friends and this time..." she leaned over the table at where they were sitting at." there wouldn't be a a way for her to survive this time," "Are you threatening us?" She asked feeling the threatening tone coming from Mia's voice. "No. Just finding out where your where your allegiances lies cause you see while you mind be connected to Luna, she is not connected to you meaning you can die and she'll be completely fine. This is why we must work together otherwise without them their our life line," "And what happens if they do find us they're just going to use the elements on us" "And that's exactly why I have a second part of my plan involves us finding ourselves new vessels to In habit so it can protect our spirits so we inhabit as many bodies as we want," "Hmm that does sound interesting what's your third part of your plan," she said curious. A new beginningAura opened her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling. She tried do look around but only able to turn her neck due to how strain she put her body in. Alone with her thoughts she began to look around the room. trying to ignore her bandaged body and the faint pain that came with it. It was a normal hospital room as far she can tell. Just then she heard a sound coming from outside her room. Her burst opened two ponies making out while coming into the room. They stopped when they noticed Aura sitting up on the bed. "I got into a fight with a few ponies and they left me for dead in the everfree," she couldn't tell them what actually happened. "Do you remembered what these ponies looked like. were they you friends, family somepony you knew," "No it all happened so fast. i couldn't see any pony that i was fighting," "Well don't worry we'll try to find whoever did this. Any who you have visitors," trying to lighten the mood. He nodded for the nurse to opened the door. The nurse opened the door revealing Fluttershy and Rainbow dash behind them was Rarity. They all came in with worried looks on their faces. When Rarity saw the state Aura was in she nearly fainted. "I told you she would't be ready to see her why did she even came along with us anyway," Rainbow said holding a nearly fainted Rarity. "W-well she insisted," Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair. As they close to the bed, the doctor and nurse excused themselves from the room to give her some space. They told her they would be back to check on her later. "Well i couldn't see because it was night and raining so not very much visibility," just then Rainbow came back with the doctor, this time Aura read his card on his coat it was Dapper Shine. "Miss Embers i heard you may have amnesia," Rarity stood up and pulled Dr.Shine into a corner. They started talking for while. "I see then i afraid there's nothing we can do until she can regain her memory. we can search for her existing records but until then all we can do is wait until she can recover," "Thank you doctor," Rarity said. she then noticed that Aura was facing the window with tears in eyes. "Are you aright dear you look like you're about to cry," "I just feel like i just forgot something important," "Well you know what they say 'if its important you'll remember it'" as she said this she placed her hand on Aura's. they chatted until visiting hours were up. it was mostly about Rainbow talking about her and her achievements and Rarity correcting most of those achievements. During all the talking Aura couldn't help but remember her time as Sapphire Shadow all the destruction she caused all the people she hurt (not kill even in her dark form she did not kill). She felt good, great even to feel that darkness wash over her. she never wanted to feel like that again. and with that they left saying they would be back when they can. ~=============~ A few days later Aura was in the middle of her crossword puzzle the nurses gave her, when she heard someone entered the door. My marefriend brought my here because i passed out on stage due to dehydration. i woke up in the hospital bed which wouldn't be bad per say, but when they went to but that needle in my arm i panicked and ran. and then ended up here," "So let me get this straight you were here all night. She said that you came from another world where you created magic, and that's where she came from," curious on how one can just create magic. "Well she can do everything I can do Plus more. I'll explain from the start," "Yes let's," excited at the prospect at gaining new knowledge. Aura sighed. "Yes i did created magic, and now I'm not telling you how I did it," Twilight awed. "Anyway I was consumed by my own darkness just as Luna had, but it didn't it consume me unwillingly i wanted it to consume me. Twilight look at it and saw that it was moving and even waving at her. "But if you take away the heart from a pony they become a heartless pony. Their alive mostly heartless," She placed her hand on the creature, she then pulled a piece of light ball from the creature. The inky creature fell on the table, it look like it was still alive. "So how did you do that," Twilight asked "Yeah I can create any creature I can imagine," "How does she intend to take over equestria, when she in the dream realm," "She can still come out, all she need is a body," "How would she get one. it's not like anypony will be willing do give up their body," "I don't know..." ~=========================================~ Somewhere in the everfree a simple timber wolf was looking for its next prey. It felt something in its core then suddenly dark tendrils came from within the timber wolf grabbing each of its limbs binding it to its body. It yelled out feeling its pain increasing. 'Oh my your body is perfect for me to use'. The timber wolf dark core grew to cover her body it tried to break free clawing at it bindings. When the core completely covered the timber wolf its mind tried to fight whoever was trying to take over its body. A dark inky ball stood out in the forest, forming into a pony shape figure. But it looked like it was a fusion between a pony and timber wolf. She had the body shape of a pony but her body was entirely of wood giving her a very puppet look, her mane and tail were green like the timber wolf whose body she took over. Around her eyes wooden marking displayed as she were wearing a mask. Her body was a inky shape that wasn't covered by the wood, it still had the shape of a pony but it looked more like her body was mostly ink. "Ah that'll do nicely," she said inspecting her wood/bark covered arm. "What took you so long," looking to her side she saw Nightmare Moon But only it didn't look like her. Her body also looked like a fusion between a alicorn and a timber wolf. Her wooden body was dark as the void itself, but it was covered in wood. "I had trouble finding the right wolf to possess," She then walked closer to the one who freed her. "Why exactly do we possess these simple minded creatures," "Its exactly because they're simple minded that we can possess them. we'll get better bodies soon but right now we're weak we have to get stronger before getting stronger bodies," Mia then sat down near a tree, the tree then dried up instantly. Feeling her body absorbing the tree life source she sighed "Ah that is nice,". "How do get stronger in the first place," she tried to summon a fire ball but it fizzled out before it could be a fire ball. "We first need to absorb as much magic as we can. Then after that we need gather as much knowledge on dark and powerful mag-" Just then a blast of magic was shot towards Mia. She blocked it with a magic barrier which shattered upon impact, sending Mia skidding across the forest. "Well well well what do we have here. Does a lost shadow puppet need a way back to her master," Nightmare was getting ready to attack this mysterious when Mia stopped her. "You shouldn't even be out sapphire you and all your darkness should be banished to Tartarus," The being in question stepped out from behind the tree, revealing dark pony shape with her eyes being pink. "Come on now vanitas we were just having fun, can't you just let this one off the hook please," she said in a mocking tone all the while getting down on her knees in a praying position. Nightmare was looking between the two ponies. she charged up her wooden horn to fire a blast at the suspecting pony. When she fire it off she found herself unable to do so. She fell on her knees and falling forward. Seeing this Mia went to explain "You can't use magic yet because you use up all the magic the timber wolf had in it, the only thing keeping your form is your magic is barely keeping your form together," As said this she got and went to push Nightmare against a tree for her to absorb the tree's magic but then remembered vanitas. "Oh and you, be a dear be patient please," She summoned vines to bind vanitas but she escaped before the vines could eclipse her. Out of nowhere a blast of fire ball flew towards vanitas. She tried to dodge but it was too fast, and she was obliterated in seconds. Out of the grove of tree out came a figure the would have been a goddess herself if not for her wooden body. flaming hair and white body was the goddess of destruction herself: Daybreaker. "I thought you weren't coming," She carried Nightmare Moon to a nearby tree and laid her there. "I decided it would be much more fun to have a 'hands on' Approach," She said walking over to Mia And Nightmare. "And there was something I was curious about," "Oh and what would that be?" "You," She grabbed Mia by the throat, lifting her off the ground to her eye level. "You seem to know lot about us 'shadows' and seem to have the knowledge on how to gain these bodies. So tell me how exactly are we going to gain newer bodies than what we currently have," "We have absorb enough magic to create our new bodies, but at current rate we'll have to absorbs massive amounts of magic in order to pull it off," She tried to get Daybreaker to let go but she Didn't want to waste magic on doing it. "And beside after you get your body You'll kill both of us and try to fight you good half celestia, but you'll lose she has the elements of harmony behind her," Chuckling turning into a full blown laughter. "You are wrong on both those points dear, First i'm not going to kill you that would waste, and her...," She looked at Nightmare who was unconscious at this point. "She can become my cum dump slut. And second i won't lose against those weak elements of harmony, they won't stand chance Against the plan you and I will set up for them," "And what makes you think I'll plan anything with you," "Because my dear I know what you desire and i can give it to you..." "But first we have to gain our new bodies, both you and her will have to gather magic as fast as you can," She summoned a portal. "But be quick about it dear I am not a patient pony," And with that Daybreaker disappeared through the portal. Mia checked to see if she was gone before smiling, the first part of her plan had begun. ~=======================~ Later at the hospital as Twilight and Aura were talking Aura sensed something was wrong when suddenly a massive black ball formed in her room. "What is that?" Twilight asked getting into a fighting stance. "Wait," sensing that she knew what it was. The ball formed into a pony and then fell to the ground. The pony in question seeming injured and had burn marks all over her body. "Vanitas!!" she yelled. She tried to get but couldn't due to her body being injured. "Vanitas?" she asked walking over to the mysterious pony. The pony got up or at least tried to, she fell down every time she got up. Twilight walk over to Vanitas to help her up and sets her on the chair. She went to get a doctor but when she did she felt somepony grab her hand. "Don't... please," Twilight felt conflicted she had to get somepony to help this pony. Vanitas turn her attention back to her master. "Mistress she's here... I fought her but I lost," "Vanitas what happened," She nodded for Twilight sit down "I was in the everfree when i sensed something deeper in the forest so I went to investigate. I found Mia in a wooden form," "Wooden form?" Twilight asked. "She must have used a timber wolf as her vessel. She must be trying to gather enough magic to create a body," "Is that even possible?" Twilight seemed even more curious. "Yes you could create a magic created body, but the problem is you would need huge amounts of magic to do it. Like two to three times the population for canterlot," Aura explained. "Yes but she wasn't alone Nightmare moon was there as well," "Nightmare Moon is back!!!" Twilight yelled causing Vanitas ears to splayed back. Seeing this she said "Sorry," "Mia must've taught her how to transport her heart into a vessel," Aura held out her hand towards vanitas, she then turned into a wisp of dark smoke that got absorbed into Aura. "Rest vanitas be at peace," "How do we stop them, I mean maybe if use our harmony powers-" "That won't work because we can destroy their bodies as many times as it takes it won't change anything as long as their hearts remain intact, they will keep gaining bodies," "Then how do we stop them," "For now it looks like they're still weak and will try to strengthen themselves with magic," "How," Twilight asked "There are a few ways but two most effective ways to do it. The first is love, if you are near two ponies that are deeply in love with each other you could gain magic love from them, or drain a pony of it," "And the second?" "The second method is what they will most likely use: Fear if they can scare a lot of ponies they can use the magic of that fear to get stronger. Basically the more ponies are afraid the stronger they can become and the more magic they will gain," "Then how can we stop them," "We have to capture them, but we have to be careful," "Why," "Because if I'm right then we're facing a lot more than just those two..." Author's Note Sorry i took so long i was just waiting for my laptop to come in so i can write on the go, because there are alot of ideas i have elsewhere but when i come to put it in i forget.
