A cozy restart

The next morning I woke up too early, early early. Mostly, due to the fact that applejack was cuddling me, and when she woke up at the crack of dawn, so did I. But being me a proceeded to bury myself under my blankets.

“Mmmm five more minutes.” I whine out. Apple track simply pose the blankets off of me. I lay their face first on the mattress.

“ oh come on now sugar cube or burning daylight you’ve got a lot of chores to do so hop to it come on downstairs and I’ll teach ya how to cook breakfast.” Applejack says in he sweetest voice. I have none of it and grumble as I glare at her.

“ daylight are you freaking kidding me it’s dark out still I want to go back to bed for at least another hour.” Her face turns from happy muse meant to seriousness.

“ Cozy Glow and you are supposed to be learning humility and hard work ethic. You’ve only been here for a day and you think it’s some sort of vacation well that stops today you’re going to be working and I mean really working now get up or I’m gonna dump a bucket of water on ya.” She says, walking away and out of the room. I get out of the bed and trot to the door, swearing to myself quietly.

“Fuck I don’t want to work. This is ridiculous. I’m a fucking child and she wants me to work work work.” My grumbling was cut short by Granny Smith stopping me.

“What did you just say?! I will have none of that swearing in my house. Get over here!” She says very angry. I roll my eyes before trotting over to Granny Smith, who proceeds to grab me and stick a bar of soap in my mouth. Understandably startled by this I proceed to squirm and try to escape her.
I finally break free and spit the soap out.

“Uhhk what the hell was that for!!?” My response didn’t even come close to being good because she did it again and proceeded to scrub my mouth with soap. Finally letting go of me she scolded me again saying how I am not allowed to say bad words,

“ now, if I catch you swearing like that again they will be much worse consequences than just a bar soap. Do you understand me a little one?!” I shake my head, yes vigorously backing away from her. I make my way downstairs still scrubbing my tongue with my house to get the taste out.

“Oh there you are sugar cube come on over here and I’ll teach you how to cook breakfast.”

Applejack had just given me my first task of collecting empty barrels from their barn and carrying them on a cart out to trees that have ripe apples to be collected, and granny Smith comes up to a Applejack. I don’t hear what they are saying but from the look of Applejack, she is not happy. She comes over to me.

“we need to have a chat.” She says, in a serious tone. I stop what I’m doing and sit down for her to continue.

“granny Smith just told me what happened this morning. Swearing is one thing but swearing in front of granny Smith is absolutely not acceptable.” She says sitting down. I roll my eyes in annoyance.

“Yeah I got that when she stuck a bar soap in my mouth.” I say very annoyed with the situation. She shakes her head.

What am I gonna do about that attitude problem of yours seriously.” She says patting me on the head with her hoof. I push her hoof off and glare at her.

“whatever…what is it you want me to do today anyway, besides bringing stuff to you like some sort of glorified pack meal?” I say with a good amount of cozy’s anger, flaring up. She just sighs and points to a fence.

“You’re gonna start with helping me fix that fence and then you’re gonna pant it.” She says in a serious tone. Again cozy glow’s personality takes over and I get really mad real quick.

“ oh, Celestia dammit I already painted offense I don’t wanna do it again!!! You Gotta be freaking kidding me.” I say stomping my hoof. This seemed to get applejacks attention, and she turns on me in a heartbeat.

“ you listen here, cozy glow you will not be swearing in front of me or any pony for that matter you keep doing this and I’m gonna have to take you to the barn.” She says in an incredibly serious tone, but me being me. I push my luck and continue.

“Oh yeah what’s so scary about the barn huh? Ohhhh the bar in the scariest thing ever oh my~~” I say in a clear, mocking tone, putting my hooves on my face in a marking shock expression, this whole scene seem to catch a Applebloom’s attention who runs up and puts a hoof on my mouth.

“Applejack please she didn’t mean it she didn’t know better” Apple Bloom says in a hasty tone I push her off and report back.

“Yes I did know better there is nothing to be scared of out of a barn. Don’t be ridiculous. This is just some sort of stupid ploy to make me behave. It’s not gonna work. Hmph anyway to get the stupid fence finished. I say walking towards the fence. Applejack walks up and blocks my path, looking at me with the most angry expression I’ve ever seen on her face.

“I’m gonna give you one last warning if you don’t stop right this second with that attitude and swearing then I will take you to the barn.” I roll my eyes.

“Whatever” I say as I pick up a hammer. Without even warning me, I am picked up by Applejack who proceeds to take me into the barn. She places me on the ground and grabs a belt. My eyes shrink to pinpricks. I see what she meant by that now and backpedal quickly.

“ Applejack I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry please… don’t I’m begging you” I plead she simply shakes her head.

“ multiple Ponies gave you warnings after warnings it’s time you got some consequences. I told you if that attitude kept going, I was gonna take you to the barn and here we are.” She says, as she spanks me hard on the flank. I scream in pain and she does it again, and again accompanied by my screams of pain. Tears start flowing down my face. She spanked me six times and then stops.

“Now listen here and you listen good you will not disrespect me or my family on this land you will not swear, nor will you have a attitude or you will get six more you hear me and Cozy Glow.” She says, in a very serious, tone. I shake my head vigorously crying.

“Good now get out there and get to work. You got a fence to build and paint then I’m gonna have you carry barrels filled with apples into the barn and then replace them with empty ones and we will do that until supper now get going” she says, and I sprint out of the barn still crying as I begin working on the fence my flank still hurting.
