A cozy restart

I found myself standing in a dark empty space with nothing but myself. I look down and see I am a human again.

“Oh I’m me again wooo!” I say happily but then a voice catches my attention freezing me in place.

“I wouldn’t celebrate if I were you.” The voice says. I turn around to see none other then the real cozy glow right in front of me. Only thing is she does not look normal. She is see-through like a ghost.

“Wow what happened to you? Why do you look like a ghost?” I ask sitting down on the floor.

“Well that’s kinda hard to say. I have some bad news.” She says sitting down.

“My consciousness is fading away the longer you are in my body the more I disappear. Eventually I will be gone forever. But that’s OK. You’ll have all my memories and my feelings and emotions..also you kill my body and I will hunt you.”she says pointing a hoof at me.

“I’m so sorry is there anything I can do?” I ask she simply nods.

“Yeah take care of my body.” She says as she becomes more see through.

“You have my word I promise I’ll take care of your…my body goodbye cozy glow.” I says as she disappears and I wake up, covered in snow and shivering. Suddenly I am bombarded by memories. Everything cozy glow ever experienced. They are now my memories my emotions and I burst into crying.

“What am i supposed to do no pony will ever truly trust me again. I lay there in the snow shivering. My wings are numb and so are my hooves. I’m beginning to fall asleep. Before I do though I hear a faint voice yell out

“I found her quick get her to the hospital!!!” The Voice said and I passed out. When I woke up again, I was laying in a hospital bed, covered in blankets. I was still shivering, but not as badly.

“Oh my Celestia you’re awake we were worried” twilight said leaning over the bed and putting her hoof on mine.

“You’re still cold. I recommend you stay bundled up.” She says as she pulls the blankets up to my face.

“W…w…what h..h… happened” I ask though shivering. Twilight looks at me seriously.

“You had frost bite it’s a good thing rainbow found you when she did or you might not be here now.” She says looking down.

“Look cozy glow I’m sorry. I did some searching I found some stuff about you… won’t force you to work with rarity. You can stay with me in the castle and I’m sure within time you will be reformed. It’s gonna take some time I’m sure you’ll become good.” She says as she hugs me.

“D…don’t let g..go a..and I’m s..s….sorry to I..I’ll work with r..r…Rarity. I’m a..sorry for ruining a..away “ I say hugging her.

“What but I thought you didn’t want to work with her?” She asks confused I shake my head.

“No it’s o..ok I want t..to be better.” I say giving her a warm smile. This makes twilight smile too.

“Ok but for now you need to rest you still have some frost bite and you almost had hypothermia.” She says heading to the door. I simply nod and try to get some sleep.

_________________ few hours later_______________

I woke up to the sound of taking. Thinking about it I pretended to be asleep and listened in.

“I feel so bad she almost died because of me.”

“No it weren’t none of y’all fault rares”

“Oh yeah you weren’t there she said stuff the I didn’t want to think about and she was right but now it’s different. I want to do anything to help her become better I know there is good in her somewhere”

“Well here’s hoping y’all are given the chance.” I turned over to see both Rarity Applejack.

“Hi…” I say as my ears pin back. I am suddenly huged by Rarity.

“ cozy glow I’m so so sorry I wasn’t thinking about how you felt. I promise I will do anything to help you reform yourself I will be hear for you.” She says hugging me tightly.

“ uhh ok cool c..can you let go of me please?” I ask she lets me go with a blush.

“Hehe sorry” she says” I look over at Applejack.

“So when if y’all feeling better Twilight wants to talk to ya in the map room.” Applejack says as she heads to the door with Rarity.

(In the Map room)

I trot into the large room where I find the main six sitting around the map of Equestria.

“Sigh what did I do this time?” I say exasperated and sitting on the floor. Twilight looks at me and smiles.

“No cozy, you’re not in trouble. We just need to talk to you about something important.” Twilight says looking around at her friends and then back at me.

“O…k? What’s this about then?” I ask inquisitively. Twilight leans forward and explains.

“ I did some research and found that you are an orphan of sorts so we need to discuss a guardian for you. And before you even say anything, I am aware of how intelligent you are, but that doesn’t mean that you are old enough cozy you are only six years old. You need a proper guardian to take care of you. You like it or not you’re going to be adopted by a new family.” Twilight says and I back up slowly.

“I…i…WHAT?!? NO!!” I yell as I turn around and try to run but my path is blocked by rainbow dash.

“sorry squirt but you aren’t going to weasel your way out of this” rainbow says. I try to flap my wings but find no matter how hard I flap my wings I can’t get my body off the ground.

“don’t you remember your ribbon is enchanted to prevent you from flying. if you are good and cooperate with us, I will remove that enchantment, allowing you to fly OK?” Twilight says walking towards my and rests a wing around my back.

“Look I know this is hard for you and this redemption thing is difficult but I’m sure you can do it. You just have to push through and become better. But you can’t do it alone. you need family some to help you and be there for you when you need it.”

“Sigh….what about you?” I ask looking at her and her face turns red.

“Me?? You want me to be your guardian.” She asked shocked.

“I guess you’re the only one who seems to actually care about me.” I say looking at my hooves.

“T…that’s not true…sigh I’ll think about it ok cozy.” She says. After that I was brought to a spar room in the castle where I was given a bed to sleep and rest and get warm because I was still freezing. Hoping the future holds something good for me.
