Arranged Marriages at the Crystal Empire

Twilight Sparkle somberly trotted into the crystal castle, knowing exactly where she was headed. She couldn't remember the last time she had visited Princess Cadence, it was true the train-ride to the Crystal Empire was expensive, so Twilight had to plan ahead of things whenever she wanted to visit.

Just a week prior, they had defeated Chrysalis with the elements of harmony once and for all, finally ridding of her evil for good. But with her gone, there was a catch, Twilight's brother had also been taken, and she knew they could've done nothing to save him.

Twilight shuddered, doing her best to shove the horrific memory of Shining's love being drained out of his body from her mind. He died fighting for his life and kingdom, and that was all that mattered.

Holding back a sniffle, Twilight turned to see her other two friends, Fluttershy and Rarity walking behind her, who had offered to keep her company so it wouldn't be as hard on her to revisit her brother's home, before they had arrived Twilight made sure to visit Shining's grave one last time, wishing him the best in the afterlife.

"Oh don't worry Twilight dear, everybody dies. I'd say we should focus on the future as of now, we wouldn't want to remind Cadence of her husband's gory demise, would we?" Rarity smirked, a little too wide for Twilight's liking.

"...I guess." The purple alicorn sighed, staring at the shiny blue floors in silence. What was there to say? Shining armor was gone, surely she wasn't the only one impacted by the loss of his life, Cadence loved him more than any-pony, she couldn't imagine how she could be coping with this.

"Please don't be sad Twilight, you're going to make me sad too..." Fluttershy whimpered, hiding behind her light-pink mane as tears welled up in her eyes. "Nobody deserved to die like that, Chrysalis might be gone but I will never forgive her!"

"Let's just not talk about it anymore." Twilight replied flatly in a tone that was firm. "We're here to check up on Cadence, not reopen already bleeding wounds." Stopping at a large, sapphire-colored door Twilight pushed it open, creaking as it stopped itself half way.

"The lights are off, maybe she isn't home right now." Fluttershy shivered, it was unusual for Cadence to sit in the dark by herself. The once happy photos of her wedding now felt stained with grief as Twilight clicked on the light, lighting the room up instantly.

A disheveled Cadence met their gaze and got off her bed. "Oh! Twilight, it's great to have you...I see you brought your friends!" She smiled at Rarity, but seemed disinterested in Fluttershy's presence entirely.

"I hope you don't mind, I just didn't want to come alone after...you know." Twilight trailed off, avoiding the dead-look in Cadences purple eyes. "I understand, it's fine." Cadence quickly replied, leading the ponies to a number of glass-covered items.

"What's all this Darling? you built a museum in your bedroom?" Rarity asked confused, unsure as to why Cadence would trap a wilted rose permanently in glass.

"I framed everything Shining ever gave me so I could always remember him." She explained passionately to the three ponies. "Every gift on our dates, honey-moons, and wedding. I will cherish them always." She wiped a tear from her eye as she said it, and Twilight was already feeling the on-coming waterworks herself.

"It's beautiful," she remarked in bewilderment. "He would be so proud." Fluttershy added in a soft voice. "I think it looks retarded darling. What a waste of time, you should've thrown all of this stuff away by now, not preserve it." Rarity BOOMED FROM ACROSS THE ROOM!

"RARITY!" Twilight shouted, how could she be so insensitive? she knew her and Shining weren't close, but had Rarity lost her brother in battle, she bet Rarity would be wailing uncontrollably on her drama couch eating boat-loads of ice-cream.

She guessed it would've been a terrible idea to bring her along, Rarity probably only wanted to go to watch Twilight's breakdown FOR FUN!

Cadence was unphased by Rarity's blasphemous remark, ignoring it entirely. Maybe she hadn't heard, or because she liked Rarity so much, rejected the idea of being offended at her words. Twilight fumed with frustration, had Cadence and Fluttershy walked out right then and there, she would've torn that unicorn a new one. She couldn't believe Rarity could be considered an element still after all the horrible things she'd gotten away with.

"There's another thing id like to share with you, I'm moving out of the Crystal empire for good. I just think this place has too many bad memories, and id rather live in Mexico where it's nice and hot and there aren't any problems."

"WHAT!?" The three exclaimed in horror. "B-But Cadence, if Shining is dead who will take care of the crystal heart or the castle!? Sombra could come back and kill us all!"

"I know, but it won't be my responsibility any longer. Do you think I would leave my kingdom without somebody to replace me?" she exclaimed sarcastically, disappointed her friends could be that stupid.

"Then who?" Twilight could feel an itch in her hooves. Was it possible that Cadence was going to leave her in charge? she knew she already had Ponyville to take care of, but this was her sister-in-law! if Cadence trusted anypony to take the reigns of the throne it would be her!

Twilight's eyes shimmered with hope. Maybe this could be her way of honoring Shining Armor! oh and she had forgotten how much she loved the crystal houses and ponies, they always looked so pretty! she would do anything to become one herself.

"Rarity, I believe you'll be a perfect contender to take my place as Princess of love. Not only am I giving my kingdom to you, I will also be giving up my role as a princess altogether. It just wasn't for me." taking off her crown, she placed it on Rarity's head, it tilted, the crown being much bigger on her.

"RARITY!?" both Fluttershy and Twilight screamed. "WHY HER? IM AN ALICORN PRINCESS!" Twilight yelled, infuriated Cadence picked a violent murder-loving sociopath instead of her long-time bestfriend. "Have you lost your mind!?"

Cadence furrowed her brows, confident in her decision. "Of course not! I've known Rarity and her brother for a long time, Twilight. They're latino just as I am, and though our countries might be rivals, i'd rather someone I understand culturally then some soul-mate fluff."

"Soul-mate FLUFF? Cadence-" Twilight stammered in disbelief. Why was she so obsessed with mexico all the sudden? that WASN'T EVEN NEAR EQUESTRIA TERRITORY! it was then when she noticed the intricate tattoos marked all across Cadences body. They were flower patterns and other strange symbols.

"What has gotten into you? what is with all the tattoos?" Twilight gasped, unable to wrap her head around all this insanity. What was supposed to be a visit to get over her immense sadness turned into a disaster, and now Cadence was stepping down and giving her role to RARITY OF ALL PONIES!?

"Oh darlings, you're overreacting, it's been my dream to become an alicorn, so Cadence, make me one please?" Rarity persisted, a little over-excited.

"Sorry Rarity, you won't be turned into an alicorn, but you'll still become a princess. I guess that will also mean your brother will be a prince." Cadence explained, liking the idea that for once another species could be crowned as royalty in Equestria.

Fluttershy nearly threw up in her mouth at the thought. "Please no! he's a human, the ponies won't accept him and he's not very polite! sometimes he takes his pants off for no reason and makes me suck on the thing between his legs!"

"I DONT CARE YOU STUPID WHORES" cadence screamed. "Another thing, I will still be leading ponies in Mexico, but not as a princess like before. I am now the leader of the MLP CARTEL and you will refer to be as "el cadence" and nothing else, got that?"

"EL CADENCE!? THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR!" Twilight screamed, ripping the crown off rarity's head and throwing it at Cadence, nearly breaking it in half as it bounced off the wall with a loud clattering noise. "Get ahold of yourself! cartels KILL ponies Cadence! why would you leave your perfect life behind to become a drug-trafficker!?"

"Because I want to." Cadence replied flatly. "It's my life, you can't tell me what I can and can't do. I already sent a letter to Celestia and Luna about my decision."

"Please don't go through with this, we need you here! don't abandon all of this to become a criminal!" Fluttershy tried to reason. Rarity smirked. "Oh good! I'm great friends with the MLP CARTEL I heard they up pay lots."

"Shut up Rarity! we don't want Cadence to leave!" Twilight whisper-shouted into her ear. "You know that those ponies are twisted! they're trying to turn Cadence into a ruthless-murder machine!"

"I can give some tips." Rarity grinned so evil. "in my old country gautemala i was in one of there cartels most RESPECTED MEMBERS."

"OK THATS IT! NO MORE OF THIS MEXICO TALK! Cadence, you aren't going to leave the Crystal Empire, Rarity is going to be the second coming of sombra and you know it!"

"Nonsense." Cadence dismissed, grabbing her black bullet-proof vest with the white red and green logo on it. "Now I have to meet them outside. If I were you id be nice around them, do so much as make a face that them and they'll decapitate you with a sickel, got that?"

"URGHH! I can't believe Cadence is ditching me for TACO HUMPERS!" Twilight cried out in agony as they trotted down to the lowest level of the castle. Once they were all downstairs, Cadence smiled at the five ponies waiting for her.

"Oh my goodness! they're so scary even from far away!" Fluttershy shivered, hiding behind Twilight. "Will they really kill us Twilight?"

"No, not if we keep our mouths shu-" Twilight began, before seeing Rarity walk over and give them all a hoof-shake as if they were relatives who hadn't seen each-other in a long time. "Roseluck, Helia, Lily Valley, Sunshine Petals! it's been so long! How's it been?"

"Great, Rarity." They said in such thick accents twilight could barely make out anything spewing out of their mouths. "We killed over 200 ponies since we last saw you and all our rivals groups ARE DEAD."

"P-Please don't say the d word again.." Fluttershy muttered on the floor, trembling at this point. Cadence gave ALL OF THEM HER blessings and talk to them privately, whatever they were talking about, twilight probably didn't want to know.

"I must be on my way," Cadence sighed as she departed from the gang ponies. "I wont ever forget you girls, and Rarity, take extra good care of Shining Armours memorial room, alright?"

"Gladly, darling." Rarity nodded. "Send me a letter when you get off the plane."

"I will, goodbye Twilight, oh, I almost forgot! Fluttershy, my friend Helia wants to talk to you." Cadence said, pulling a teal-and-yellow pegasus close to her. "U-Um..hi.." Fluttershy whispered, unsure what this random pony wanted.

"You better tell your daughters to STOP RAPING ME ESTUPIDA. OR ILL FUCKING KILL THEIR MOTHER, oh right, that's you!" she smiled so wickedly, Fluttershy felt as if she were about to faint. Never had she seen a more evil smile in her life.

"O-Okay." She fought back tears as the cartel and el cadence fucked off. Once they were gone, Rarity dropped the nice-act. "Alright you sluts, I run this place now, and my family GETS TO MOVE IN!"

Fluttershy regained her composure. "So if my daughters are becoming princesses too, what will me and Twilight be?"

"A princess, obviously." Twilight interrupted. "I'm already the princess of friendship."

"NOPE! you two will be maidens, maidens until you get MARRIED!" Rarity laughed evily, grabbing a whip and striking both of them until massive lacerations appeared and fatty tissue and arteries were exposed.

"BUT THE ONLY BOY IN EQUESTRIA IS YOUR BROTHER!" Twilight screamed, covering her bleeding back. "EXACTLY." Rarity snarled, gripping the long black latex-strap in her hooves.
