Chapter 1: time changes

Spike is a young boy who was fresh in High school with his sister two years in and is now going to be able to join in on the fun. Often Spike for his dragon blood is seen as a child, but because he goes into a freshman year in college. He can't be treated as a child anymore by Twilight and her friends. He was a bit tired of being left out. Sure, Big Mac, Discord, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell, Scootaloo, Wallflower Blush, and even Pinkie Pie sometimes. Hang out with him and play with ogres and oubliettes. Although Pinkie Pie for some reason always did the weirdest things as the bard.

Other than that, it was a fun time. Although at first Big Mac for a while like everyone else thought Spike was four to five years younger than he was. When Spike finally told him. Big Mac wasn't sure about it at first. Once, Big Mac had read some books that Twilight owns on dragons. He knew Spike was telling the truth. Big Mac has expressed that he has tried to tell AppleJack. Although it seemed every time, he did somehow something prevented him from telling her. Spike is happy with his life. He just hopes Rarity will return his feelings finally.

Spike was in some dark purple pants with a steel chain on it. Spike just thought the chain would look cool hanging from his right hip. Along with that, he had a green T-shirt with a purple hoodie. These were his basic detailed look for wear that is often the same. He was 4.5 feet tall in American terms. Which is 137.16 centimeters. Spike learned this because often Twilight liked the idea of knowing and understanding different cultures and their differences. Which leads to her drilling this kind of info along with anything else you can think of, into his head. Don't get Spike wrong, he loved his sister and was grateful to her. Sometimes she would just hop around from babying him to treating him like he was a super genius adult.
That aside today he was going to ride with his sister who was driving him to his first day of College. Which by mistake almost dropped Spike off out of habit at his old high school. Twilight as she was driving could be seen with her usual black tie and white shirt with a dark purple vest over it. She had her long purple with a star-marked skirt. She had on her usual glasses although Spike knew she hadn't needed them ever since she started high school. It confused me what changed and how no one seemed to see that she had removed the lens for her glasses and only had the rims on now.

Spike knows something is going on these days with Twilight. Somehow everyone else in their lives has close friends and/or family except for Miss Twilight Velvet and Mister Night Light also known as Spike's adoptive parents. Big Mac, Apple Bloom, and/or AppleJack are not telling Spike anything, and they are the most honest people he knows. It worries him sometimes. Now when they get to the College Twilight finds parking since it was the first day the student council for this year where at the doorway to the school greeting everyone coming into the building making sure everyone feels welcomed and that they were given a special pin to mark what year they are.

It was a big building known as Equestria college. The college of equality for all evolved humans. For back 1000 years ago or so. A strange event happened that made it, so humans got mixed with powerful magic blood types, and not one person was left without this effect within the body. So, names give an idea of the differences between all special types of changes to the body like how fast they age, how strong they are, what other special things they can do, etc. Each type even has a sub-type.

For example. Twilight is a pony magic type. Specialist in powerful magic arts and scientific understanding. Her subtype is rising power. As time goes on, she can grow stronger faster than the normal pony magic type allowing her to become a powerful protector. A different example is a fellow dragon-blood type Ember. One of Spikes' closest friends and leader of the Dragon-land gang. Although nowadays they are more of a watchdog group than a gang. They will not stand on the side although if someone is in danger. It was one of Ember's new rules to protect those in need for all dragon-blood members and honorary members as well. She has the sub-type of dragon leader. She can lead how she wants with a powerful aura because of her sub-type. Each subtype is unique to each person.

Spike as he got his pin went on his way to get his class schedule. When he was getting it. He is blinded from behind after speaking with Principal Celestia about his first year which she does for all new students. He hears a voice anyone can tell who it is from the get-go. "Hey ya, Spike! How is one of my closest friends doing!? I can't wait to throw your first day of high school party! I know you like my parties!"

"AHAHAHAH. Pinkie. Who doesn't like your parties? While I do appreciate the thought. Right now, I think it would be best if you didn't. It would be unfair to all the new students to only have a party for me, having my first day here seen as special." Spike smiles.

Pinkie smiles. Although in his younger years, Twilight and Pinkie were friends. Spike thought she was a bit insane. But Spike now greatly regrets those thoughts and wishes he had never had them. Out of all of Twilight's friends. Spike was grateful that Pinkie was one of them. Each of the six friends that Twilight has made. Have helped her grow in mind and heart. She often struggled with the idea of friends and because of each of them showed her Kindness, Honesty, Loyalty, Generosity, Laughter, and Mercy. Along with each learning along the way how friendship works and grow together as friends. Spike wouldn't have changed anything that had happened to them at this point. Although that time with that strange magic item that cloned Pinkie Pie. Yeah, something about that day just felt off to him.

Pinkie smiled at Spike in understanding, "Ah, fair enough. But that doesn't mean I am not going to throw your party still. You are going to get some of the most fun. You will ever have at this party tonight at 6 with dinner at my place."

"Interesting, why your place although? Wouldn't it make more sense that it would be in a park or somewhere else? I know your sister Marble Pie doesn't like you throwing parties at the family home. I don't want to have to hear your sisters screaming in my or your ear." Spike explains his thoughts.

Pinkie rolls her eyes, "Spike, Spike, one my family including my sisters are off making a deal with another rock farm in a different place miles from here. Two I understand your worry she did almost caused Limestone to go deaf. She has learned not to yell at people as much as a result. I wish it didn't happen the way it did, but now I don't have to worry for my own ears. Mister smarty pants. You're acting more like Twilight than usual? guess you really do look up to your big sis."

Spike gives her a look. Although she was right in some sense. Spike didn't like being compared to his sister. Pinkie knows this and uses it to tease him. As long as he is ok with it in the end that is. Spike and Pinkie then start walking along together to meet with all their friends at the auditorium. The college was planning to do an introduction for the freshmen along with welcoming those who were returning students. Spike and Pinkie get to the auditorium then most students to see all their friends grouped together as the follow from left to right. In rows of 12 seats with 4 columns with two seats open to them at the end.

Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, Apple Bloom, Rarity, Sweetie Bell, Discord, Fluttershy, Big Mac, Wallflower Blush, Sunset Shimmer, Trixie, Gabby, Ember, Thorax, Zephyr Breeze, Gallus, Silverstream, Smolder, Yona, Sandbar, Ocellus, Pipsqueak, Featherweight, Starlight Glimmer, Garble, Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich, Sunburst, Flash Sentry, Shining Armor, Cadance, Sonata Dusk, Skystar, Babs Seed, Blueblood, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Gilda, Coloratura, Soarin, Tree Hugger, Quibble Pants, Autumn Blaze, Pharynx, and Twilight.

Spike takes a seat next to Twilight while Pinkie Pie sits on the other side of him. Spike looks at Twilight and swings his head to Shining Armor and Cadance. Twilight nods her head and whispers to Spike, "I don't know, they said it would be a surprise."

As Spike talks and catches up with the others. Hearing that Sweetie Bell, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo had found out each of their sub-types finally alongside Babs Seed and Gabby. It was great hearing that news. Thorax has learned how to start a fire for camping with Ember's help. While Ember learned from Thorax some skills in communication. While he was confused on while Sonata Dusk was sitting with them. Don't get him wrong, he and Pinkie befriended her along with Twilight. But He didn't expect the others to let her sit with them just like that. He thought it was just like Thorax had to go through. I would have some help from him, Pinkie and Twilight to get the others to give her a chance. He asked her and she just shrugged her shoulders.

He looks at the others trying to see if anyone will tell him, and Big Mac throws him a note which he catches and reads. 'With what happened with Thorax and how you helped us see not to judge a book by its cover or passed mistakes. When she came up asking if Spike, Pinkie or Twilight was here yet for she was excited to hang out. We were not sure if she was lying or not. Expect for AppleJack then Twilight came in and confirmed that you guys were on a friendship trial. To see if it's possible for her to become friends with her. So far, the others who have interacted with her have enjoyed talking with her.'

Spike looks up and smiles at Big Mac and nods thanking him for the information. Sonata still forgetful it seems. Spike then talks to Twilight, "So Twi, how was talking with Flash."

"Spike, no." Twilight face was flushed and clearly not wanting to talk about how she feels to her knight in shining armor as Rarity would say and no Shining Armor has yet to find out. At some point, although Spike is worried that Shinning would go a bit far and become a ragging dragon if he found out and roast Flash Sentry's pants off just by pure brotherly rage.

Spike then looks to the stage of the auditorium. For Principal Celestia was standing there waiting for everyone to quiet down so she could begin. Once all the students quite down and were ready to listen. Of course, after seeing Vise-Principal Luna deadly glare telling them all to keep it down. Principal Celestia speaks, "My wonderful students welcome back to returning students and to new students who are starting their first year with us. It will be an interesting year for not only we have new students, new programs, and new systems. We also have some new teachers and/or part-time teachers who will be helping with student education. Which Vise-Principal Luna will introduce."

"Thank you Principal Celestia. Now with how things are changing we wanted to this announcement first. Would Shining Armor and Cadance come up to the stage please?" Luna speaks up to call for Shining Armor and Cadanace.

Once both get out of their seats and make their way over to the stage. Once they were both up on the stage. Vise-Principal Luna speaks, "Starting this college year we have specialist combat taught by Shining Armor as a required credit for at least 1 year class. It will be a bit of a strange times although to make it work for everyone's schedule. Now Shining Armor will be its teacher full time. While another class will be added that is not required but a useful one. This class is specialist studies. Which will be explained by the part time teacher Cadance."

"Thank you Luna. Now the new class I am teaching is planned to help out those who struggle understanding their sub-type, alongside information we have on magical items, magical places, meanings behind gifts, and more. It will be a fairly easy class to learn from and to pass. But to make the most use of it. You need to be the ones to put effort into it. This class will count for a History, Humanities, fan arts or secondary language credit. Which some of these although seem confusing on why. You can find out for yourself if you want to take it. I can't wait to meet and teach all such wonderful students this year. " Cadance explains in clear detail about things that students want to know.

This class interested Spike and it also explained why Shining told him it would be a good idea for him to leave a credit and a class time opened for one of these credits. He chose to have it as a secondary language for him it seems. Although how can one class have all of that in one year with such flexibility. It will be an experience.

Shining the comes up and speaks, "my class will be happening Monday to Friday. Each day having a different set of students. From 2:00 to 3:10. Sense everyone needs to take this each class for each day will have 466 students in each one for all 2,330 students to be able to get the credit they need. So with the aid of Principal Celestia and with the approval of college board we will be using the time slower barrier box to allow use to have double the time for class. Don't worry you well all get 30 min break during the middle of class time every time with class. I also know how tiring high school can be."

Once this is all done. The rest of the events, activities and things planned for today along with letting students get know there teachers along with Spike signing up for Cadance class. They gave out everyone's times for Shining class. Spike along with everyone of his friends all luckily got his class on Friday. Spike gave Shining a look who just winked at him and everyone else who questioned it. He likes making so everyone is feels safe and able to be themselves. So he made sure everyone had as many as their friends as he could in the same class it seemed. Plus with how big each one is. It makes sense that he made it work out like that.

Once he was done interacting with his last teacher for Math class for Monday and Wednesdays classes. He makes his way out to see outside all his friends talking and planning it sounded like although he was to far way to hear what. Once he got over Twilight spoke to him, "Hey Spike. So You ready to head over to Pinkie's place for the party?"

"You know it. Although let's not party too late. We have two teachers with us along with you Twi that would get us in huge trouble if we miss our Tuesday/Thursdays classes tomorrow on Tuesday." Spike playfully explained.

The others laugh while Twilight well blushes and Shining goes over, "ahah good one bro. But do remember that I maybe a Teacher here now. I am you're Brother and Friend first. So I won't make a peep if you don't"

Twilight then begins to rant to Shining about how he needs to act more professional and he had a job that he needs to keep. While the other start chatting it up. Sonata seemly getting along with Discord, Pinkie, Sunset and Starlight the most. They are a huge group of friends so it's understandable if they all can't interact or know what's going on all the time. Spike is happy everyone seems to get along even with newer young people like him, Apple Bloom and the others with them. As Spike was chatting with Twilight, Shining, Thorax and Ember about the plans as they head out. Once he makes are way over to Twilight's car and everyone else to there own rides to get to Pinkie Pie's family home.

Once Twilight gets into car. Spike is about to hop in. When he sees something on the ground that is fairly shiny. He picks it up and it looks like some mirror like stone. He quickly pockets it. As Twilight asks him what's the hold up. He gets in the car and Twilight begins the drive. Half way there Spike decides it maybe the best time to figure out what is going on with Twilight sense she seems even more worried know about whatever she has not told him.

"Twi, please tell me what's going on." Spike speaks out with a bit of a worried voice.

Twilight acting confused asks in return, "Spike whatever are you talking about? I am not worried about anything well other than passing my classes in our college."

"Twilight, everyone else knows other than mom and dad know what is happening with you. While I don't. Even Applejack the worse keeper of secrets. You seem to trust more than me." Spike lets out his hurt.

Twilight pulls over to the side of the road as quickly and safely as she could and makes a stop on the side parking the car before hugging Spike, "Spike, I trust you the most out of anyone of our friends. Who was there for me and believe me when I said that the Cadance that Shining was marrying was a fake? You. Who was the one no matter how bad things went for me and I acted like a loony was there to calm me down? You. Who was the best little brother that my parents when he was a baby let me choose for them to adopt. You. I.... I understand you are worried. I just don't want you danger."

"Twilight. I am grateful for you're kind words. But just as much as you worry for me I worry for you. Please I want to help you and be there for you. I can't if you don't tell me what is going on." Spike pleads with Twilight.

Twilight seems to sit there in silence like she is making the biggest choice in her life. "Alright, I will tell you. With everyone else there at the party. Because it involves of them too... Just don't be mad that them. I am the one that told them no matter what not to tell you."

As Twilight starts the car again to get to Pinkie's party. It was clear that something was a foot. Now Spike is somewhat at peace. For once at the party things will change. He can now help twilight instead of feeling useless. He knows it’s going to take her awhile to not baby Spike. He could see it in her eyes that she is second guessing herself. Spike understands the feeling. What if he became more of a burden? Well it’s better to find out than to find out by accidental means. For Spike has a feeling that more than just his school life is changing forever.

I did a lot of world building mainly with information and other details. Plus all the friends mentioned will be involved in the story if that’s not clear. I will not say how although. Thank you for reading and if you have any questions or thoughts on this let me know.

Chapter 2: the party with mirrors

Spike smiles as Twilight makes the last turn before they were into the rock farmlands of Pinkie Pie’s home. When twilight finds a place to park. They saw that everyone else had parked and was already there. It was logical as they were the last to leave and with the stopping for their worries for each other. Well Spike was excited and anxious about what was going to happen.

Once he got out of the car and started making his way over. He was stopped by Twilight. “I need to check ahead if they are ready for you. They have something special that they want to have ready first before you came in.”

Twilight heads inside as Spike waits to see if he was good to come in. He hopes that things go well. Last time he was given stuff he well went on a rampage. Thankfully now Ember has given him some training on how to handle it.

Once Twilight and waved her hand to lead Spike in. He made his way over to the door. She and Spike went inside saw Pinkie Pie along with everyone else come out and scream, “Happy Birthday Spike!”

Spike gives a confused look. His birthday wasn’t until next week. He then gets a hug from Pinkie Pie as she smiles, “Yeah, I know. It’s a week early, but I figured it be the best sense from the warning from Shining and Cadance. You wouldn’t be able to focus or even be able to have fun during the second week of college because their classes would have some special things planned for you and all of us. You weren’t the only one they wanted to make sure get in Cadance class.”

Spike gives Shining and Cadance a look. He wants to know what they are planning. They have a reason for this. Whatever it was there is a fair chance it can only spell trouble. Then Twilight speaks up, “Well guys, I am thankful for everyone coming to my brother’s birthday, but it’s time. Spike here really wants to know what’s been happening and… I think he deserves to know.”

“Twi’light, I know you care for your brother. Right down to your core. Are you sure it’s a good idea? This is really risky with what’s happening.” Applejack spoke.

Rainbow Dash adds on, “Yeah, I am with AJ on this one. I already dislike that Scoots here has gotten involved... Just as much as Rarity and AJ feel about Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell gotten rope in all this mess.”

"Dears, now let's calm down. This is mainly Twilight and Shining choice for they are Spike's siblings. He wants to help and so it's clear that well it's best to them say. No matter how we wish Spike to not be hurt." Rarity states.

Fluttershy speaks, "girls, this... is not the time for this. Twilight are you sure?"

"I am. I just hope you agree, Shining. For I agree with Rarity. You should just as much say I do." Twilight explains.

Everyone turns to Shining. Who seems to be thinking. Discord goes on and gives him a pat on the shoulder. Pinkie before Spike can react. Takes him outside. "SORRY, EVERYONE GOT TO TALK TO SPIKE WILL BE BACK IN A FEW SECONDS WAIT FOR US AND TALK THINGS OUT AND MAKE A PLAN FOR WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE PROBLEM AT HAND THIS WILL BE QUICKIER THAN YOU CAN SAY CREAM PIE!"

Spike and Pinkie Pie are gone from the rest of the group. Outside on top of a hill near her home in 10 secs. Pure randomness is part of Pinkie Pie's sub-type with her type being strength pony. This matters for it helps with her talents as well Pinkie Pie. Although Spike, a bit sick from how fast they moved, sat down and looked up at Pinkie Pie waiting.

"So, why did you bring me out here?" Spike questions.

Pinkie seems to think for a bit about what she should say. "Well...Spike, I don't want you involved in this at all. You are an amazing friend to us and an amazing brother to Twilight. My own sisters have gotten involved and have gotten hurt because of it. I nearly seen to many of my friends get... get...."

Pinkie seems to not be about to bring the words to her mouth. Spike has never seen her like this. Pinkie is someone that hardly ever does not smile. Pinkie is someone that hardly ever fears anything. Pinkie is the most innocent of heart when it comes to things like she is trying to speak of. Just what is happening to cause these guys to be this secretive. To be this worried. Discord of all people seems to be unable to make the problem just pop away. Spike could see it in his friend's eyes. He could tell Discord felt useless.

"Pinkie. No matter what happens. Please continue to smile. Your smile is one of the few things that keeps up the morale of our friends. I know you don't want to see me hurt. But I do not want to see my friends and family hurt. So, with whatever is happening. I will help even if I have to prove to Shining Armor that I can." Spike explains his feelings

Pinkie looks at Spike and thinks about the past. Spike, her wonderful friend, has been able to hold out during some of the hardest of times and was willing to risk his life before for his friends and family. It seems like that was not going to change any time soon. Pinkie hugs Spike. Spike could tell that Pinkie approves of his choice. Although she wished he didn't.

"Hey love birds! Get your butts back here! Shining has an answer!" Discord cries out.

Spike screams back as Pinkie, and he goes back down, "On our way! AND DON'T SAY THAT YOU KNOW PINKIE LIKES CHEESE SANDWICH!"

Pinkie blushes a bit as they make their way down. Once they were back with the others. Shining was standing with Twilight. He was standing up straight like he was boss fight ready to take down anyone that stands in his way. "Spike, I know you well. You are my brother, but I just ask this question if you want my approval. What would you do if you could only save one person out of two people. Who would you save. Me or Twilight."

Everyone gasps at this. This seemed like no one expected this. Flash, Wallflower and Sunset all seemed like they wanted to speak up. But Ember, Smolder and Thorax stopped them. Others decided to sit in wait. Pinkie Pie just smiles at Spike. Twilight seemed natural after her shock was gone.

"Shining... You know that is a trick question. I would save you both no matter the cost to me and only me. Not the lives of others." Spike gives a firm answer before deflecting a magic shot at PINKIE from Shining.

Everyone looks at Shining. They don't move or say anything. Shining after a bit, gives a second shot at Twilight which Spike as quickly as he could get over and barely blocks it. Shining then speaks, "Good work. I figured you could handle that. I just needed to make sure you always be on your toes little bro. Sorry Pinkie and Sis. I just had to make sure Spike could at least defend others sense I already know he can defend himself."

Before he gets a whack to the head from Cadance, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Once everyone calms down and makes sure Shining, Spike, Twilight and Pinkie are ok. Cadance gives Shining a little talk on how that was a bit too far. Spike makes sure both Pinkie and Twilight are alright. While everyone else is talking about plans. How to deal with the dangers of the threats they face. Discord seems to be preparing something to show while Rarity seems to be bringing whatever item they thought Spike would be able to tell right off the bat what it is without how much gift wrapping it has. IT seemed to just be a huge box twice his size.

"Alright. I am sorry dear. Look, I just didn't know what else to do. If we want to deal with the danger that is coming Spike needed to show he was able to help out in some way so the others won't doubt him. You know how for years he was treated like a baby by everyone, even his closest friends. Oh, everyone would have tried to protect him 24/7." Shining explains the worries on his mind.

Many of Spike friends wanted to protest, but those who knew he was right like Big Mac, Discord, Rainbow Dash, Sunset and more stopped them. Knowing that it was true for some time. Twilight speaks up, "HEY! I didn't baby him that bad."

Everyone gives her some looks. Before she looks away. Everyone knows she still babies him sometimes. Spike has expressed his dislike of it. These things had all happened before and well Spike knew it was time to move on. Spike stands up and hugs his sister. Before signaling to Pinkie asking if he could begin to open the huge gift. Pinkie gives a thumbs up.

Spike begins slowly opening the gift and as he takes down about 20 layers which takes 30 mins of opening. Which everyone gives Pinkie a look for. She just shrugs them off and sees that the gift is unwrapped enough that you can see the glow coming from the gift. Spike then realizes what it is. Goes speed demon mode in a metaphorical since and rips up the wrapping to nothing until you can see what is within. What everyone sees within the gift is a shining stone in the shape of Spike and his size. This is the power up stone for spike. Everyone gets a power-up stone that allows them to increase a special area of their talents they have gained throughout their life which is normally given on once 25th birthdays, but many exceptions have been made throughout the history ever sense the change that made everyone had special types that gave them powers. Spike looks at everyone making sure he wasn't seeing things. Everyone just smiles at him.

Spike quickly takes the statue of stone by the hand and speaks, "I am Spike with the Dragon-blood type with sub-type Magic-FLAME!"

Spike vanishes from everyone for a sec before returning. Although for everyone it was a sec. Spike was planning his upgrade in another world. He looks through the choices which we will see, but Spike won't say what he got for he plans to surprise everyone with it. Choices: Flame damage = increase the damage your damage flame attack can do. Flame arts = makes it so Spike gains multiple new spells, he can use within his flames. Final furry = can use a powered-up raged dragon form. unknown = a coin flip mystery upgrade that is twice as good or twice as bad.

Plus, other things he increased in terms of what he can do. Once he got back, his body looked normal, well normal for a dragon-blood. He had his wings and scales on his body. So, everything accounted for. Then Spike looked at the gang, it was clear in his expression. He wanted answers now about what was going on before the party started.

"Well then Spike why didn't you just say it. Oh right, proper writing format. My mistake. I am Discord the being of chaos and disharmony for a reason dear viewer." *winks* at the readers as the story continues and he begins explaining to Spike who was confused on who he was talking to for a sec but put the pieces together. "Now have you heard of the multi-verse theory. To give a quick explanation. It's real and evil versions of each of us and hundreds of our friends are invading our world for some reason. Plus, I think we have fought five different evil Sunsets at this point along with 2 evil Discords, 5 armies of apple and orange families. Don't get me started on that fight. Chaos copies of Twilight, Rarity and Sweetie Bell. Elements of perverts, elements of greed, seven deadly sin copies of you, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity. You were greed and one of the hardest to take down. A transformed Shining Armor of a changer type. Evil Celestia, plus so many more evil versions or worlds that I don't want to go down the list of that we have or know are going to come after us. Oh, and be on the lookout for an evil Pinkie Pie. That we called Cupcake Pinkie. Celestia has said to kill on sight that Pinkie Pie. You don't want to know; you don't want to read about her and be ready to fight well yourself sometimes."

Spike looks like he has been hit by a truck. Well, it feels like it at least for him. All the others understand this is going to take some time to get through his head. They are going to be fighting evil different world versions/copies of himself and his friends. Some seemed to be marked as to be killed on sight! That is well. Worrisome in so many ways. Spikes minds are running through all the info and now start over thinking and start to mumble everything that could go terribly wrong. What if He can't tell the difference between one of his friends and an evil version from a different world. What if he can't protect those he loves, and they get hurt because he is too slow or too weak? What if he lets his emotions and/or logical thinking brain fight over what to do for so long that he looks frozen as a statue and fails to help? What if-.

"SPIKE!" Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Twilight, Ember, Sunset and Thorax yell out to Spike getting him out of his rambling mind.

Once spike had calmed down and cleared his head. He talked to the others. So, the plan was to prepare him in training with Shining Armor and everyone else on Fridays in his class. For now, Celestia had told everyone to relax for they had all dealt with a great amount of stress as of late and that Celestia, Luna and some of their allies would look over the world and watch out for invaders. So, with that the party really started. Everyone was talking. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo were making friendly bets on who would start dating. Babs Seed, Gabby, Pipsqueak and Featherweight were planning some activities to do during the weekend. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Ember, Glida, Grable and Smolder were doing some small friendly iron pony challenges. Wallflower Blush, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Discord, Thorax and Big Mac are planning a game night for the weekend which Spike is invited to. Twilight, Sunburst, Flash Sentry, Rarity, Cadance and Shining Armor are planning an outdoor learning experience for themselves where they could tell some scary stories together during the night's end.

Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Zephyr Breeze, Gallus, Silverstream, Smolder, Yona, Sandbar and Ocellus are planning an animal tea party with some side activities for Gallus and Sandbar to do. Coco Pommel, Quibble Pants, Coloratura, Soarin, and Tree Hugger are planning to do a reading group meet up and talk about their fav books and activities to do sense these guys out of the group don't know each other that well and decided they want to get to know one another better. Sonata Dusk, Skystar, Blueblood, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Cheese Sandwich, Autumn Blaze and Pharynx are all talking about some of their wacky stories and adventures they have had before and after meeting and becoming a part of this huge group of friends. Spike was just hopping around catching up with everyone. Sense he was busy during the Summer Break, he didn't really have time to hang out with them.

What was he doing over the Summer you ask? He decided to take some special fencing classes sense he wanted something to do other than his job and play around. The unexpected stress and hard training he got from it left him a bit unable to join in outdoor group activities. When they had game nights, roleplaying action, and some other things that he could find ways around his tired body. He was able to have fun like everyone else with the group.

Spike then hears Sonata Dusk calling to him, "Spike! do you hear that!"

"Hear what?!" Spike calls out back.

Sonata Dusks five feet from Spike and points to his pocket, "That, something in your pocket. It's making some type of painful noise to my ears can you please make it stop?"

Spike looked worried at Sonata. Sirens have some special ears that lets them hear sounds that no others can. An example would be able to hear the mind controlling waves of the Sirens voice which allows the Siren to know who another Siren is and to be able to adjust and change the way the sound plays in the heads of others to make it work on making the person do what the Siren wants. The fact that something he has is causing pain in her ears and she can't stop it. Well, it is strange that a sound can cause a Siren pain alone. Everyone sees this and gathers around. Spike takes out everything he can expect from his pockets and Sonata makes it clear that none of them are the cause.

"Well Spike what dang else could you have in your pockets!?" Apple Bloom cries out.

Spike takes out the last time which was the mirror like stone, "Look there is no way this-"

"THAT'S WHATS CAUSING IT AND IT'S WORSE NOW! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!" Sonata likes out a whale like cry of pain.

Spike quicky acts. He doesn't like to see his friends in pain. Pinkie Pie for some reason tries to stop him as he drops the stone to the ground and smashes it under his foot. Pinkie Pie grabs onto him as they both vanish, and the stone is broken. Everyone is shocked as Sonata looks up on her face no longer in physical pain, but emotional.

As everyone looks around trying to find any clues to what just happened Discord speaks up, "Enough! They are not dead. I can sense they are alive. But not in our world anymore."

"Then can you bring them back!? What was that stone!? Who gave it to Spike!? Why did it cause pain to Sonata!?" Twilight seems to lose it a bit as she cries out these questions in Discords face. Discord was about to respond before a voice from outside spoke, "No, even Discord won't be able to. That was a mirror stone. Connected to the myth of mirror pond. Which takes those who do cause a surge of kinetic energy to be teleported to the mirror pond's realm. Which none have returned from ever. The reason it caused Sonata pain was mirror stones were often used to banish Sirens. So, Sirens even before hand by genetics learn to detect when a mirror stone was around by the pain it would cause their ears. Before Starswirl the bearded banned them for he found out the painful ends that all who enter the realm meet. Saying that is no justice, that is cruelty. Ever daring to explain what he saw within his vision of those trapped inside. " Maud pie explained with a tear coming down her face.

The rest of the Pie family had returned as well. Each tried to hide their tears. Limestone breaking the most. As everyone sees a poof of smoke come from the stone making an outline of laughing dragon. Everyone heard the laughs of this dragon and it familiar yet evil and cruel.

Discord growls, "Of course it was him of all the evil psychos I know from the multi-verse."

Then the smoke keeps laughing as it goes up and away as Pinkie Pie and Spike were gone. Into the unknown of the Mirror Pond.

Well I went that root. Anyway Guess what! I thought it be fun to let you guys the viewers to choose or create evil versions of all the list of characters here and basically anyone from gen 4. If you want to I already am going to do a few of my own. So I hope you find this fun and be ready for next time on- "CRAZWRITER!" discord screams as he breaks into my writing room. oh wait. Well I am dead. *Craz starts running for the hills as Discord chases him for making Fluttershy Cry.*

Chapter 3: within a Mirror

Spike after what felt like hours of being out cold. Awakes when a groan. He stands up from the ground from which he lays or what he hopes was ground. For it look like a blank nothingness below is. Spike looks around to find Pinkie Pie only a few feet away. Staring at the ground. Her hair was deflated like a Balloon. One Spike knows that she likes to have that hair style sometimes, but this was clearly not one of those times. Plus, she needs someone else to straighten out her hair.

Spike goes ever to Pinkie. Spike puts a hand a her shoulder, “Hey Pinkie, you alright?”

“Oh Spike, you’re awake. Of course I am ok! Why wouldn’t I be you silly!” Pinkie lets out her usual smile and her hair went back to being poofy. Spike can see through the lie although.

Spike then speaks, “Well then I guess we can just call for discord to get us out of this place? Maybe get back in time for cake and the surprise I had planned for you as thanks.”

“What… you had something for me!? But it’s not even my birthday or any special occasion for me coming up! It’s your special day that I ruin! Oh…” Pinkie as she start to have a mental breakdown. Realized what Spike was doing.

Spike just sits in front of Pinkie. He was hoping that would get her out of her funk. It seems like whatever she is feeling is well. Not good. Spike then speaks, “Pinkie, what’s wrong. I am sure Twilight and the others are all working together to find a way to get us out. It will be find.”

“Spike.. I don’t think even I can find anything to be happy about when we are both trapped in the mirror pond.” Pinkie explains the situation.

Spike looks at her confused, “what the mirror pond? The same mirror pond that made the army of clone pinkies?”

“The one and same. Spike that was a mirror stone you had. I should have stopped you sooner. Even discord will not be able to get us out with all his reality bending shenanigans. This is the realm of the mirror pond. None have escaped. Never.” Pinkie gives more details.

Spike knowing that when she was sure of something when she is not being over the top like when desert eater mystery. She was fairly likely be to right. Well Spike hopes he can prove her strange and randomized knowledge wrong.

Spike stands up and looks around is the strangely reflective light mirror void? Wait oh was this place reflecting light if there is not light here? This could be just brushed off as magic, but as Twilight has said before that magic is just science we don’t understand yet. She although she uses magic. Knows that it’s something to do within her mind interacting with the special atoms in her horn.

Spike then asks, "Pinkie the mirror pond is connected to the mirror realm. Which means that this place is somehow gaining light from where the pond is. Although the way in is sealed off. Or is it? Has everyone checked if the mirror pond is still sealed by that used bolder in the last while Pinkie?"

"Well yeah, Me and my sisters would check it out weekly to make sure. We just checked it yesterday actually and the bolder is still in place. Why?" Pinkie explains.

Spike then gives her a look, "Well something must be causing these floating reflections to exist. I was thinking whoever trapped us here could have opened it. That doesn't fully add up although if what you say is true. They would one have to know when you are checking the mirror and would have to be smart about making sure you don't detect them. So they would have to understand your Pinkie sense and the powers of the others in such a way they can avoid any of us finding out."

"Or they just went and payed for a mirror stone off my parents." Pinkie states.

Spike turns to her dumb founded. Why did she not say that before hand... Spike signs before speaking, "Why would your family be selling them."

"Because only dragons fire breath can make the power of the mirror stones turn on. So the suspect has to be a dragon or a friend with a dragon. Plus the family was told never to tell someone outside the family. The fact that someone figured this out is a worry all on it's own." Pinkie pie explains it with puppets of her and family.

Spike signs. Of course that's what is happening. This type of problem sounds like a Tuesday for Spike with happens with Twilight. "Ok, so that doesn't make the list that small... Although I think their is something causing the reflections with light of some type. Which if we find the source. We could find a way out."

"Well I don't think the other Pinkies will be making that any easier Spike..ehehee." Pinkie said from behind Spike.

Spike filled with dread turns around. Hoping it was some prank of hers. When he fully turned around. He saw what he feared she meant by that. All the Pinkie Pie clones from the mirror pond. Of course sense Twilight send them here. They would be here, but Spike hoped that they just faded from existence. Why did Twilight had to be right that about rules of creation and destruction. Spike then speaks, "Ah hello other Pinkies?"

Each of the many Pinkie Pies turned to Spike. Each with a mirror reflecting eyes. Looking into Spike's soul it felt like to him. The aura of magic and mood from them felt dangerous. All expect for two. The many Pinkies Then scream out, "SPIKE! THAT DRAGON KEPT HIS WORD! NOW WE CAN HAVE REVENGE AND TAKE OVER THE SURFACE AFTER YOU PARRISH!"

The many Pinkies scream out as the start running at spike, who with the real pinkie pie start running for their lives. The storm wave of Pinkies right on their tail. With two Pinkie Pie clones sitting down looking at each other. "What should we do?"

"Well, I don't know... I want to save that dragon boy Spike for some reason, but I don't know why."

Chapter 4: What the gang doing?

With twilight and all the others.

Twilight, is pacing back and forth as Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer try to calm her down. Shining Armor with Big Mac, Discord, Cadance, Starlight Glimmer, Wallflower Blush, Trixie, Gabby, Ember, and Thorax are all talking about what to do. Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Pipsqueak, Featherweight and Babs Seed all are talking back and forth about what could have Pinkie Pie have known. Zephyr Breeze, Sunburst, Flash Sentry, Blueblood, Gilda, Coloratura, Soarin, Skystar, and Garble making plans on how to deal with whoever gave the stone and to make sure this never happens again. Gallus, Silverstream, Smolder, Yona, Sandbar, Ocellus, Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich, Tree Hugger, Quibble Pants, Autumn Blaze, and Pharynx are asking about who go the gift. What was the point? Who knew about this party that could have given it away to an enemy? While Sonata Dusk seems to be panicking. Looking around for something. The Pie family talking about how to handle things at home and what to do about the problem.

Discord had already explained it was an evil dragon calling himself Lord Drago. This dragon even Discord doesn't know what evil version of friend or ally the dragon is. He just knows that Lord Drago unlike other enemies wants to drain the blood of one of each type of dragon, pony, etc. To gain the power of all the people within this universe for themselves. Discord unlike with most of the threats. Can't tell the group what this dragon looks like.

Discord sees this and speaks to her and everyone, "OK everyone we all in a sort of worry with what happened to Spike and Pinkie Pie, even I didn't suspected someone from other worlds knew about Mirror stones. I thought that was a thing only in handful of the universes of the multiverse. So the info on the threat can be found out quickly. Most of the invaders from other worlds like ours have only been ones without the existence of Mirror stones. So that means it's a new one and I can already cut out 531,213 out of the 532,500 universes that have them. Then carry the 4 along with all the boring math trash. We would only 20 possible different universes that are mostly overrun by evil and darkness. To be the ones to have done this. Now Sonata. You seem to know something. Care to share?"

Sonata gives a worried smile as everyone gives her well mix looks. Some try to be understanding like Applejack and Fluttershy. While others are giving her a look of did she betray them like Rainbow Dash and Gallus. Sonata speaks, "Well I saw Spike pick it up from the ground by Twilights car. It wasn't causing that pain before. So someone must have triggered it."

Limestone speaks with her voice fading, "That adds up... While the stone is powered by fire of a dragon. The dragon can only use it with a key word they choose is said by them. That they can trigger from within about 150ft. So they must had been close. oh.. sorry.. sorry."

"To finish what Limestone started. Just like how Pinkie Pie when she went to the Mirror Pond and found the magic mirror wand to use on herself which required a key word. To use any mirror pond item requires key words. Along with any other requirements depending on the items origin." Marble Pie finished for her sister.

Twilight then nods begins to try to think up a plan. Everyone being thinking about what they know. The Mirror pond is known as a magic place that creates Magic items with a price... Often those who go to it can ask for an old item already made in the past like the Mirror wand would require no price. The Mirror Stones from what can be gathered on information wise seem to have been made by magic to be able to come into existence naturally within rocks.

"Wait so couldn't we just use the Mirror Pond to make an item that opens a portal between the pond realm and our world?" Rainbow Dash asks.

Twilight signs before Autumn Blaze speaks, "I think we would all liked it that way, but it's not going be that easy is it?"

"yep" Big Mac speaks making it clear that that there is no way it would be that easy before Sunburst speaks, "Well it can be, and it can't be. It's a strange thing the Mirror Pond and it's rules and functions with are world which are just a mess of it's own. The idea of simply asking for an magic item to be made alone is insane sense the time and balance of nature and magical forces..." Sunburst looks around seeing everyone waiting for him to end his ranting and to get the point. Other than Twilight. Sunburst clears his throat, "Right the main point is... With how little we understand other than myths and stories of the Mirror Pond. The price for making a full new magic item could be the something your treasure that cannot be replace. Like a love one or an import memory. The risk of that is too high."

"Well dear what should be done then?" Rarity asks. Then Shining speaks up, "For now we go on the hunt for this Lord Drago in big groups. This dragon manage to slip pass both Luna and Celestia without being detected by either of them. That is not an easy feat to do. We have three tasks at hand. Find out who and where this Lord Drago is from."

"Two find out how to get Spike and Pinkie Pie out of the Mirror Pond." Twilight enters in then Sunset Shimmer speaks last, "Finally we need to make decoy Spike and Pinkie Pie so no one knows what happen or worries arise. No matter how much any of wish we could solve this in a day. That is not going to be possible and we have classes. If people see that both of them are missing and catch wind that something has happen. It could cause some unneeded attention to us all."

Everyone nodded their heads and split up. Twilight, Shining, Big Mac, Rarity, Limestone and the rest of the pie family will help cover for Spike and Pinkie with the fake copies allowing the others to figure out what to do. Applejack, Applebloom, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Discord, Sonata, Autumn Blaze, Ocellus, Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich, Tree Hugger, Quibble Pants, Gallus, Silverstream, Smolder, Yona, Sandbar and Pharynx are planning to hunt down and/or find out what they can about this Lord Drago. While Cadance, Starlight Glimmer, Wallflower Blush, Trixie, Gabby, Ember, Thorax, Zephyr Breeze, Sunburst, Flash Sentry, Blueblood, Gilda, Coloratura, Soarin, Skystar, and Garble are going to find out how to get Spike and Pinkie Pie out.

While some of these people are not good at doing searching or researching depending on what they have other means of finding out info. While those like Scootaloo, Sweetie Bell, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Pipsqueak, Featherweight and Babs Seed have an idea that they want to do to aid outside the groups.

"What are you guys up to?" Rainbow asks the youngest of the group outside of Apple bloom on what they are planning.

Bab seed speaks for the group, "Well with what we have gathered from all the talking it almost feels to prefect the timing. We think that someone outside the group knew where we were going for this party. One sure could have been a different universe copycat of us or whatever. But that doesn't explain how they knew the exact location of said party. Sense if they only have gotten into our world recently? How did they know what they know? We think someone is a spy within the college or someone betrayed our world outside our group. Sense we all know before we are allowed to join or aid in these dangers of other worlds. That Twilight and the others test us with magic spells that make us reveal the truth of our intent. We don't think their is a traitor. We think their is a spy although from our world."

"you are grated to investigate into this matter. Babs and the others bring up a point. Twilight can you?" Shining asks as Twilight nods her head as she checks for any of the cloths of all their allies being bugged with mics or trackers. Skystar's dress lights up a bit at the bottom revealing some type of device.

Skystar goes down on her nee and messes around with that part of the dress to reveal some type of clip that seems to have some type of transmitter and Scootaloo quickly takes it from Skystar and breaks it. Applejack cries out, "Scot what in tarnation where you thinking?!"

"Yes we could have investigated the device to find out where it was going to. Why did you break it." Twilight raised her voice.

Scootaloo looks at everyone, "Because I already know who made it. I will go and question 'him' with the others. I will get him to talk. For now you guys worry about your parts. Let's just say an old friend is going to have problems with all of us now."

The rest of the people headed out as well. Everyone knowing what they need to do. Although most where not all friends with Spike and some were just acquaintances. Many understood that Spike was respected for a reason and if their friends were worried about him. So were they. The main ones that were the most worried or had the hardest time with this was the five of the main six, the core three cutie mark crusaders, Discord, Big Mac, Shining Armor, Cadance, Sonata, Thorax, Ember, Smolder, Gabby, Sunset Shimmer, Wallflower Blush, Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. While Pinkie had just as many even more worried for she was a core member of the team to deal with outside invaders. Five of the main six, the core three cutie mark crusaders, Discord, Big Mac, Shining Armor, Cadance, Sunset Shimmer, Wallflower Blush, Starlight Glimmer, Sunburst, the Pie Family, SkyStar, and Cheese Sandwich where also just as greatly worried for mainly Pinkie Pie.

Twilight during the night although seemed the most calm and ready to deal with this problem. In the dream world where Luna the Vise Principle of the school has came into her dreams to aid her. Right now She is having one of her biggest mental break downs in years. Twilight in her Nightmare saw death after death of ways Spike could die with all the unknowns about the realm of the Mirror Pond. She saw him melting into the pond becoming one with it and never being seen again. She saw him being fused together with Pinkie Pie becoming a Frankenstein like monster. She saw Pinkie being hunted and killed by creatures of the Mirror as she screams out, "NO! NO! I CAN FIX THIS! I CAN FIX THIS! FIX THIS!! FIX THIS MESS!!!"

"TWILIGHT!" Luna's voice boomed like a sonic wave making the nightmares vanish from Twilight's sight. Luna sat down by her side as Twilight was laying on the ground trying to hold herself together. Luna then speaks as she gently raises her head to look at her. Luna also had some small tears in her eyes. She understood Twilight's pain. "Twilight, my deer friend. I know this must be hard on you. Don't blame yourself on this. You did what you could in the past and you are doing what you can now in the present. If you need to blame anyone, blame me and Celestia for failing to sense and stop the invader from causing all this. As this should have been a time of rest and joy for you, your friends and specially your brother Spike."

"Luna, I can't blame you or Celestia. you both have entrusted me and -" Before Twilight can finish Luna put her hand on Twilight's head, "Twilight, we gave that responsibly to you for we had no say in the matter. We wanted you and all your friends and family to have a normal lves drom childhood to adulthood, but dangers and the gifts you were given forced my sister's hand. Then even mine hand after I was freed from the evil that had captured my body and used me to do harm."

Luna looks down ashamed at herself and into the dream waters below. She touches the waters as they show the dreams as everyone tries to sleep after a long day of event after event. The apples seem to be unable to sleep and work in the fields of the apple farm blaming themselves for not being strong or fast enough. Rainbow Dash, Ember, Smolder, Flash Sentrey and even Fluttershy all flying around in high speeds or screaming out their rage in their homes. Sunset Shimmer, Wallflower Blush, Starlight Glimmer, Sunburst and Cadance reading through every book as they lose themselves in them thinking about how they missed such important info or ways to detect threats. Trixie duing over the top and dangerous magic show stunt training. Thorax in a mental break down stat and slowly losing himself as he calls himself a failure of a friend. Scootaloo being careless as she rides her scooter around until she stops at a house. Along with everyone else being upset at these events.

"Wait is Scoots going in alone to investigate the person they believe to have betrayed our world?! what is she-!" Luna calmly speaks, "She will not fine him their. He has left town. I will sent info tomorrow on where he went hiding to for her and the others. Twilight, these events are not the full main cause of the problems or emotional stat of you and all your friends. It's the over time stress of fighting over and over every night different threats and having to split up and the scars and pains that all of you have faced. You and your friends have not been given proper rest or therapy for what has happened."

"But I always told everyone to-" Luna smiles as she gives her a hug, "Twilight, you have heard the hardship of others so often. That you have forgotten that even someone who helps with therapy also often go to therapy themselves every now and then so they can rest and deal with the problems they face every day. You need someone to talk to as well. They have been avoiding it because your friends can all tell that stress and regret are overwhelming you. Spike is worried for you for a reason. The main reason I am here although not only to help you as much as I can. But to also say that I am sorry that I can't do much more. So please let it all out."

Twilight breaks down as years of dealing with monsters, insane evil versions of herself and her friends, curses and so many other things that a anyone her age or younger, when she started should have never had to deal with. She cried for hours as she has been forced along with many of her friends to grow up faster then they should have. Forced to fight wars to stop evil from taking over the land. Forced to hide and have secrets from many she cared about. Forced into the life of a hero with friends, but even friends sometimes are not enough to help with the pain and suffering that you feel when you deal with beings of pure evil. She was most scared from the many evil versions of herself. She hopes she will never become one of them. Luna within her mind is mad at herself and her sister for letting Twilight and the others suffer so much. Shining Armor and Cadance although are adults they have been thrown into this at a young age as well. It was a miracle that they turned out as they have. She remembers the many friends and allies she had before during her darkest hours and how they fell into the darkness of hate, pain and suffering.

Luna then as Twilight stopped crying within the land of dreams then said this, "I am sorry Twilight, but I must go now to hopefully help the others with their pain and what has happened. Please do note not say a word about this to Celestia or anyone within the college board. If they heard that are called you my friend I would be fired for sure."

Twilight let out a giggle as she nodes her head. Luna then smiles and leaves to help out the others who were in need of her. Luna's night was going to be busy. Twilight then started to use the dream state she was in to make a plan and look over her memories and everything she knew about the mirror pond.

Far off into the darkness a figure stood in the shadows as a young man looked at the figure, "look I did what you needed me to do. Now you said you would make it worth my while and change my gift? That was our deal."

"AHAHAH of course of course. I have no need for your help, but if their is one thing about a dragon code. It is that I am a man of my word." The dark figure throws over a stone that is black and have some strange holes in it.

The person look at him in confusion before the dark figure spoke, "That is a changling stone allows the owner once a year to change their gift and even their entire identity."

The traitor who steps into the light more reveals himself to be Davenport a quill shop owner. He then shacks the stone as he tries to use it then the stone glows has he lets out a yell of shock. Then looks down at his new form and starts laughing like a mad man. As The dark figure dragon he worked for leaves saying, "As I said. A Dragon always keeps his word. Always."

Chapter 5: As they run and the two sides

Spike and Pinkie Pie where running for hours from the huge tatsumi sized wave of Pinkie Pie clones chased after them like hungry dogs or cats after their flesh. The bodies of the hundreds of Pinkie Pies seemed to be morphed and twisted into that of wild animals fused with exco skeleton flesh and glowing eyes of revenge. As the running goes on you can hear the breaking of glass and the place seems to warp as Spike trips and Pinkie Pie tries to catch him and failed as they fall into the water like floor and seem to be transport to some random part of the Mirror Pond Realm.

Spike and Pinkie Look around as they don't see or hear the swarm of clones anywhere as the sounds of breaking glass also seems to stop. They did see although and are ready to fight two alone Pinkie Clones. One of the Clones seems to have it's hair decayed from Pink to a green-ish gray while her eyes are no longer blue but a faded pink with her face seemly darkened from it's original color. While the second one seemed to have lost of it's hair as now it's a burned out Yellow with pink stripes remain in random places. Her eyes were a dark red while her skin seemed to have turned more a pink-ish purple. The Clones clothes were broken and torn although covering the body it made them seem like they have never been able to clean themselves for years.

The two clones then look at each other than at them and then hug one another as they back away. Spike and Pinkie see this and are confused. "hey other me's? what even is the word for this other than clones? Oh forget it... Look I am well the Original Pinkie Pie and I was wondering... WHYAREYOUNOTTRYINGTOEATUS!"

"Why would we eat you? you are us techicalicly speaking?" As the green-ish gray hair Pinkie spoke mispronouncing technically and continues, "Plus I think that is a crime back home? Anyway I am not mad at you like the others. Not sure why she stayed behind although."

Looking at the other clone who she was holding onto wanting to know her thoughts and The second clone looks at Spike and Pinkie Pie, "I was one of the first clones... I saw how everyone was reacting to well us and I questioned for a bit why they didn't seem to have fun with us. Then when I was sent back here. I felt the void of only see all the other Pinkies... This place where we were created from. It has driven them insane. Sense they only saw other Pinkie Pies and at the beginning we all had mostly the same mind set. It was like looking into a mirror forever and each grew their own ideas and thoughts and realized we were put in prison here... Slowly during... how long as it been?"

"... You guys have been trapped here for 5 years." Spike explains with a sad face. What else could he feel but pain for these poor Pinkies.

The Second Clone then continued, "Oh wow, that explains a bit... Don't worry the Mirror Pond seems to have a rule here that nothing can stave here. We were never hungry during our time here. Miss Pinkie... I just want to say that I am so sorry for the pain and hurt we gave your friends when we were causing chaos back home."

"WHAT NO NO NO NO! You... you guys are not at fault... You were like freshly born kids!? of course your going to do stupid things!? You hardly could understand the world or social cues and things that take years of life experience to even understand depending on per person but that is beside the point!... You are not at fault... If anything, I am.." Pinkie Pie lost it the moment the clone blame herself. Pinkie Pie always wanted to know what happens with the Mirror Pond copies but this was not what she was expecting. She was hoping that they were taken to a land of fun and joy where they could enjoy a life. Not this prison... Pinkie Pie then slowly starts to break down. What else would happen for she had created life at a young age and now are all suffering and have gone insane because of her foolish actions.

Pinkie Pie was on the ground crying, her hair deflates like a balloon and she seems to be unable to look at anyone. Spike then lifts her onto her knees and hugs her, "Pinkie... You were a kid back then too you know. Everyone makes mistakes, no one understand that better than Twilight, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and especially all your friends. We all know what it is like to blame ourselves for mistakes. But that is what makes life so amazing. If everyone was prefect sense the moment they were born. Then what would be the point to life in the first place? You can fix some of this mess. Sure from what I saw most of those clones seem beyond safely saving from this place, but..."

Spike and Pinkie Pie look at the clones. The clones look back and forth confused on what they mean. Spike and Pinkie Smile at each other knowing the plan. Hopefully they can get out and be safe. Those other clones seem to have lost all sense of reason. They were filled with darkness and hatred. These two although seem at least one thing they can do good while they escape when it comes to correcting some of the many mistakes involving this cursed pond.

"AHAHAH.. You know Spike you should give yourself more credit as one of my top friends... As I remember for a fact sense I tried to save your life like your dragon code said when you went to help Applejack after she saved your life." Pinkie Pie begins to tease as she dries up her tears. Spike the counters, "I KNOW FOR A FACT NOW THAT I WAS BEING SILLY ALRIGHT! I never used a fire wood stove! Magic stoves are so much easier to use! I am actually good at cleaning but the older equipment was so weird to use! I was trying to keep myself calm and seem like I was not being an fool when I was using strange old cleaning and chore items! How was I suppose to know that the fire wood stove would have cooked as fast as it did with how much wood I put in!"

Spike and Pinkie Pie as Spike continues to rant about old and stupid designed stoves and old farming equipment. They wave for the clones to follow. Confused and wondering what they mean. The two clones didn't leave their spot and looked on at them. Pinkie then turn to the two smiling, "COME ON YOU TWO WE ARE GETTING YOU GUYS AND OURSLELVES OUT OF THIS PLACE!"

The aura of joy coming from Pinkie to the two clone seemed to have shocked them. They have not felt such kindness neither hope in years. They only had experience this back when they felt this back when they were first created. Back when the joy of hoping to having fun was others was given as their reason to exist back home. When it first happened with the Clones while with the Original Pinkie Pie. They couldn't help but feel joy and wanting give that same joyful feeling to others. They hadn't felt such hope in years that they couldn't help but run up to her. Pinkie Pie was confused at first as the ran up to her, but when she saw what she did when the two clones were crying like that has just returned home. She understood.

The clones hugged onto Pinkie Pie crying out so many tears. They haven't been able to feel such happiness in years. The fact was now that they are able to feel this again. It was the greatest feeling they had in years. Spike could see it as they hugged. These Pinkie clones. Although the sadly only ones to retain their sanity. Have just needed a mothers love.

"You know Pinkie with these two kids, your going to be a great mother when we get back home." Spike teased Pinkie Pie as she blushes looking at him as the clones while crying hearing his words look confused although for some reason felt embarrassed. Wait what does that word even mean? Pinkie Pie then calls him out, "Oh really Spike... We were having a heart felt MOMENT! Besides they are about my age... well psychically, but mentally probably about five year old's then. Really traumatized five year old's... Well no time like the present to fix my mistake right? Anyway now your their Uncle Spike. So help me take care of the kids will you."

With that devil like smile from Pinkie Pie. Spike blushed, "Well you will have to talk about that with Twilight missy. Besides I don't think these two would fine me that interesting as they are your offspring."

"Why is Spike our Uncle? What is an Uncle? Also what is a mother?" the first clone asked confused unsure of what's happening as they continue to walk as the floor moves like water below them. Spike explains, "Well an Uncle is a family member or relative or even are rare moments a close friend seen as family. That is a brother to one of your parents like Pinkie here who would be considering your mother sense she help bring life to you and all your clone siblings? I guess that also makes the Mirror Pond your dad or father in a sense... Strange."

"But I was made by one of the other Pinkie clones? Doesn't that make her something else?" The first clone once gain points out. Pinkie speaks, "OK no no no no no no… I have been saying no a lot lately haven't I? anyway I don't want us to go into the idea that I am already a grandmother, plus won't the Mirror Pond then get into legal trouble for multiple different laws that I don't want to say in front the two clones that are basically children."

Spike looks at her then at the clones. Starts laughing for a bit leaving the others confused, "Yeah I get what you mean Pinkie. But the Mirror Pond although the father to them both. Is an object like the idea of a cloning machine that Twilight after this event 5 years ago decided against ever having it made. It can't be punished by law for it has no sense of self last I check and is not a living thing. A dangerous magical place. one hundred percent. But the law can't do anything about it in those legal terms. Unless during this trip we somehow find out the Mirror Pond is alive then yeah we could do that then. I think with what happened maybe about 7 to 10 different laws the Mirror Pond would have broke that are high punishment level crimes."

"My head is hurting from all the Big words Uncle Spike please stop." the second clone requested as she was now holding her head as most of the terms seemed to fly over her head. Pinkie Pie just laughs as she smiles looking at them and then gasps, "WE haven't given you guys name?! we can't just call you guys Pinkie Pie clone one and Pinkie Pie clone two... you guys seem to be your own people now and well need some real names. Spike any idea?"

Spike look at her and then at the clones, "I am not a parent in this situation dear lady Pie so I must insist you name your own kids."

"But you know I SUCK AT NAMING! I learned to understand that part of my life that I do overly long titles and naming for events. I would suck with kid names." Pinkie Pie begs Spike.

Spike signs and looks over at the two clones. The one with some it's lost hair as now it's a burned out Yellow with pink stripes remain in random places with eyes of dark red while her skin pink-ish purple had an interesting feeling to her looks and what her actions and emotions said about her. The green-ish gray hair and her eyes are no longer blue but a faded pink with her skin dark pink. Her emotions seems to be at peace and hope now and Spike could sense although the Mirror Pond did indeed copy of gift of Pinkie into these clones. He could tell these Clones now after living here for so long have lost Pinkies gift and can gain ones of their own. "well I think you with your aura of peace and hope. Your name could be a nice Aurora Borlis Pie. While you feel you are filled with so much wonder and mystery. Your name can be Diamonmia Pie."

"WE LOVE OUR NAMES UNCLE SPIKE!" They both jumped up and dived in hugged Spike. The joy felt felt in that moment as the clones now had names of their own. No longer just seen as mere copies of an original. Seemed to fill them with much life. As the glow? Wait they are actually now starting to glow. Soon as the glowing stopped. The two Pie children. Where now in actually five year old bodies. Aurora Borlis Pie gained a hair color of the aurora borealis itself while her skin was now a light gray pink with eye color of pure blue like Pinkie Pies. Aurora's hair seemed to be straight and flowing like the ocean her clothes now changed into some nice set of pjs of the night sky with a blue dragon on the back. Diamonmia Pie seemed to keep a Pink skin but with a wonderful bright red hair color and eyes that were green as emeralds. She was also in pjs that had treasure and pirates on it with gems covering the top of the ship in the open see with a set of party balloons on the back of the ship.

Pinkie Pie looks at the kids in awe. She carefully picks up Aurora as she seems to yawn as it seems like the pjs were given for a reason. Spike helps Pinkie get Diamonmia into the other side hand for Pinkie to carry both kids. As Spike whispered, "What just happened?"

"I honestly don't care how it happened, but now I am a mother of two kids and we are getting of out of this place." Pinkie makes it clear. Spike smiles nodding his head. Now with the kids in hand they travel around looking for clues in the reflections of light on where the exit could be. As they traveled they hear the sound of a cracking scream like a beast made of glass shattering to pieces come from all around them. It was similar to the breaking sounds while the Pinkie clone wave was chasing them down. The two kids had awoken from the sound and both were shacking from the sound as if they had heard it before.

Spike seeing this needed info and fast sense whatever caused that could be a threat to their safety. "Kids what made that sound. Please."

"Ah... Uncle Spike that sound.... It came from the... The..." Aurora tries to speak out the name, but couldn't before Diamonmia finished for her, "The Shatter Mirror Beast... It is a creature made out of pure glass that has eyes that glow the darkest red I have ever seen. That monster eats failure creations of the Mirror Pond that are sent back to it every now and then. Don't know how often but it's not common, but not rare for it to happen."

"How have you guys lived this long? The Mirror Pond is rarely used and/or known to exist and was sealed away for 5 years. No one could have made things that would have made that to busy to get you guys." Spike asks wanting to know more.

Aurora seemed confused and speaks, "What do you mean? just last week we saw a clone returned of donut joe."

"WHAT!" Spike and Pinkie Pie yell confused.

Diamonmia speaks, "yeah he said that Donut joe after lost his company to you Spike that he made a copy to attack and to get ride of Spike, but when that happened Twilight found out and banished the clone back."

Spike and Pinkie were confused. Spike had done no idea what they were talking about. Donut joe and Spike had a respect and understanding and have no problems with each other. In fact Spike helped Donut Joe's company be a huge hit and he is given some of the stock and makes some good money from that sock he owns of Donut Joe's company. Spike then had it click.

"Pinkie... The Mirror Pond is not only connected to our world. This place is connected to everyone different universe of our worlds. Every copy every different choice, every event that changes and makes a new world of our home. The Mirror Pond is connected to them all." Spike explains what he pieced together and Pinkie Pie bounce some ideas right back, "Not only do we have a chance to get out, but this could have been how the invader of our world had gotten into our world!"

Spike nods his head," Could be, but with our understanding of this and how little is known of this idea, who would have the knowledge to pull that off? Plus couldn't the chance be that these aren't even our Pinkie Pie clones? How many times could it happen? How many Pinkie Pie clones could really exist here?"

"Actually, funny thing... Some strange dragon guy said that where you first appear in the Mirror Pond is where the universe of your origin is. We never left the area we got left in." Diamonmia clarify and Aurora laughs, "wow Sis you remembered that? I forgot that detail... Plus that's how we have seen so many different clones come and go looking for a way out I lost track of how many Spikes, Twilights, Starlights and many other clones I have seen."

"Girls thank you so much for sharing this... Now please go back to sleep you haven't gotten your full rest yet and momma and Uncle need to talk." Pinkie tells the girls as they nod off back to sleep trusting Pinkie Pie.

Spike just smirks, then Pinkie Pie gives him a little kick. As spike looks around and takes notes. He sees as he travels along forward with Pinkie that the water below changes in ideals like color, wave count, speed and patterns. This most have been a clue as to the area changes for different worlds. He signaled for Pinkie to follow him going right now which he guesses could be east, but with how this place is. He don't think a compress or anything like that would work in a realm of the Mirror Pond.

After going for a while He sees a different change along the path that he could see the changes in the water to see a third different color of water with all the details from before, "Well Pinkie we never went far enough for the water to change before from where we first started and where your kids were at. So I say this water of Green with a water flow speed of 30 miles a second and wave count of 2 every 5 seconds from my guess work. Is our world. While the Red water with flow speed of 90 miles a second and wave count of 1 every 5 seconds is a different one. Same with yellow water with flow speed 10 miles a second and wave count of 10 every 5 seconds."

"And what does that have to do with anything?" Pinkie Pie asks, and Spike explains, "Because it lets us know where we are looking for when it comes to getting out. We have to find a way within our universe border."

Pinkie Pie nodes her head as they hear a some screams. Looking up they seen a huge glass beast with six arms with one of a bear, one of a dragon, one of a wolf and others all of human hands attacking a small clone town from Spike's guess work now only seeing a town in the Mirror Pond built in the borders of the Red water universe. Pinkie Pie looks at Spike before handing him the kids, "OH no no no, Pinkie don't you dare do what I think you are going to do."

"Spike we have to do something. Didn't your fav comics always say that the heroes should help out people in need?" Pinkie smiles at him as she gets ready to run in and fight that monster.

Spike while holding the kids, "While leaving these kids without their mom? Yeah no I am making sure you get out of this alive while keeping the kids safe. Just don't do anything stupid."

"Same to you Spike, They shouldn't have to grow up without their uncle Spike." Pinkie Pie smirks as both her and Spike rush on in. The Mirror Pond sadly has no place they can leave the kids safely they feared. So they will work with what they got. They will make it out alive. What they didn't see was a Pinkie Pie Clone standing about 10 miles from them staring at them from afar while she insanely smiles, "Found you."

Chapter 6: Fears created from other worlds

As the others all awaken from sleeping Twilight is one of the first up and already working on how to get Pinkie Pie and Spike out of the Mirror Pond. Although it's only been a day Twilight already has weeks of planning and research done to find some clue on what to do. Now she waits as the others on the research team come together with all the information they could find. She had Lunch while she waited for everyone else trying to stay calm. Knowing she had to lead right now. As she expected some of the teams returned. Those who were not their yet after about an hour of her waiting. Right then Shining Armor and his team investigating any psychical information they could get from the area of the events got their. Leaving only one team left. Which was mainly Scootaloo's team.

Twilight signs as Shining Armor gives her a pat on the back. Smiling he then speaks, "alright knowing that we are only waiting for one team. We should begin talking about what we have found out from all the angles to see how to get our friends out. Thankfully Celestia gave us all leave with what has happened in case we can't solve it fast enough in time."

"Alright so first those who were on the team investigating in the libraries and any information or date we have on the Mirror Pond go first" Twilight gives out this request but before she could hear any information from the team. The door to her home slams open, thankfully her family is with Celestia at the moment and a Strange Green skin with White hair pony tied up is thrown to the ground in front of Twilight by Scootaloo, "I don't how he did it Twilight but Thanks to Luna. This is Davenport the traitor who spied and was the one to help the invader set things up."

As Twilight was about to respond. Davenport started laughing, more and more. Shacking around endlessly. Seemly has gone insane. Like he was a completely different person. He seemed to have been driven insane by something as he then bites down so hard that the gag over his mouth breaks off and everyone could hear his insane laughing.

As he laugh it seemed like it was never going to stop no matter what anyone did. Everyone tried anything they could to get him to stop laughing, even magic seem to be able to do nothing about his laughing. Until Twilight fend up with what has happening. Slap Davenport so hard in the face that he had stopped. Looking up Smiling, "Oh sorry Dear royal pain. But I can't help but laugh these days. For you see the great one has shown me how doomed you all are. Even if you save Spike and Pinkie Pie. This was just to delay you all from getting in his way. I can't wait for the new rule of THE GREAT ONE, HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Applejack then hits him on the head so hard he goes out cold. "WHAT! that dang good for nothing varmint was never going to stop with that laughing and we got what we could out of him."

"Nah AJ is right here everyone. For now we all need to report in what we found out. Plus we can just ask Luna for help with getting any info out of that wack-jobs mind." Rainbow Dash speaks up.

Once everyone agrees although Twilight does tell Rainbow to speak in more respect about vise principle Luna. Those who were doing research like Sunburst found the following. One that the Mirror Pond has been around sense the beginning from what he could gather. Two the true full power of the Mirror Pond is unclear as it's very existence often is said to be a reason on while the wild area also known as the Evergreen forest is seen as a dangerous place for it caused the creation of the Timberwolves.

Twilight nodding adds this to her notes, "If the real power is not just to create copies but of whatever we desire of the pond from the clues and connects like that of the mirror stone and how it's powers seem to have unclear limits. With what I gathered some of the most dangerous items have been made from the mirror pond. Such as Grogar's bell and the Alicorn Amulet."

"WHAT!" many of the younger allies shouted in shock at this info. While others like Rainbow Dash and basically everyone else give Twilight a look.

Shining speaks up, "Wait, Twily, are you sure? Because with that type of claim. This just got a whole lot worse. As from info from the royal guard has shown the guard with time memory repeat magic. That whoever got the mirror stone. Came out of the mirror pond."

Everyone looks at the Pie family as they are known to understand things like this more than most people. Limestone pie then gives everyone a glare.

"Would YOU ALL STOP LOOKING AT US!" Her family give her a look before she signs as Maud Pie comes up to speak, "Are family does know a little about this, but not all the details. The fact is Pinkie Pie was the one who was interested in the tale of the Mirror Pond the most. The rest of us can't really tell much more to help."

Sonata Dusk mumbles out, "Well I remember something my sisters told me that are parents always talked about... But I didn't really pay much mind to my parents or them. All I can remember about what they have told me.... Is that Sirens are somehow connected to the Mirror Pond, but unlike other things from it we can never return to it... I think.."

"You know what I am not surprised anymore... Sonata would it be alright if I take a sample of your DNA and see how it reacts with the Mirror Pond? This may give us some clues about how you are connected to it. The reason why by the way that we don't ask your sisters. Is because their is no way in the world they would ever tell us unless we give them something they want and we don't have time for that." Twilight speaks as she gets supplies to get a sample.

Shining Armor Speaks, "Big Mac, could you take the traitor and put him hand him over to the royal guards here? Twilight thankfully with being a royalty has to have some so they can make sure he is put in jail."

Big Mac gives a nod as Flash, Ember and Rainbow Dash all follow him to make things go fine. AppleBloom speaks up, "Well I got some info from Zecora! Apparently from what I could understood from what she said.. Which I was late to bring this up because some people wouldn't let me talk!" AppleBloom gives Applejack which Aj signs at, "anyway from what I could figure out from what she said... That Pond maybe some type of gateway? That's all I got."

"Wait that actually has to do with something my father over heard!" Diamond Tiara shouts, "Found what I over heard... He has made deals with people from other worlds before! But always found it weird that some came wet!"

"Ok all this information isn't adding UP!" Starlight and Sunburn both say annoyed while Trixie speaks, "Well some of these must be tricks to throw us off."

"Zecora, we can mark as a true one for she understands things better than must of you can't even rap your head around." Discord teases, but points out while Bloodmoon speaks, "Well if their is one thing of note about all this... That the Mirror Pond should have been fully investigated ages ago and with it being a gateway... What world could Spike and Pinkie be in?"

Sunset cuts in, "But that doesn't add up as Discord would be able to just bring them back or at least know what world their in and tell us.. He can't find them.."

"Maybe Because.... because... I DON'T KNOW SPIKE AND PINKIE ARE IN WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS!" Sweetie Bell looses it with Rarity calming her down, "Now Sweetie we are all stressed about this... With an unknown threat, two of our friends missing and someone who can make someone vanished from Discords sight... It's scary what type of problem we are in."

"Well... What if Sweetie is right?" Tree Hugger points out, while Cadance nods her head, "I think Sweetie may have a point on this..."

Yona then speaks, "Well if Yona is understanding everything then this world between worlds is possibly a different realm like the one from shining gem myth from Yona tribe."

"Well then now that's just another thing to investigate that could be fake with this full problem!" Pharynx complains, as thorax taps his shoulder, "Well I don't think we will have to worry about that..."

Everyone looks over at Thorax and see he is looking at the door which confuses everyone with how his face is shocked. Everyone looks that way to see Big Mac and the others back with two others behind them. Big Mac then goes, "YEP!"

He clears the path to reveal Spike and Pinkie Pie have returned! With Pinkie Pie having THREE KIDS! Spike then speaks, "Sorry we took a bit... and yes Twilight, I will tell everything that happened in the Mirror Pond, but first..."

Spike then falls over to the ground from exhaustion... his face fast asleep. As Pinkie Pie yawns, "Yeah after what happened... And learning some harsh things... I am so glad to be back. Hey Cheese, Twilight, Mom, Dad and well everyone else... Can you please take care of my kids for a second.. I am going to join Spike on the ground..."

Pinkie Pie also falls over after putting the kids down. The three strange kids then cuddle around Spike and Pinkie as all three girls fall asleep around their mother and Spike.

AppleJack is the first one to come to her back to reality, "WHAT IN TARNATION HAPPENED IN THAT POND!"

As everyone decided to not let them rest for the first hour of being home.

Author's Note

The next chapter is about how they both get back... and fight something huge two! The story is far from over by the way.

Chapter 7: how they got out the Mirror

Rainbow Dash and Flash did what they could to calm everyone down, although like everyone else they wanted to know what happened to Spike and Pinkie Pie. They needed to give some space for them to breath as both seem exhausted.

Once everyone calmed down. Twilight came forward, "alright from the top you too. What happened in wherever you were."

"Well Twilight, me and Spike we in what is called the Mirror Pond realm or a world between worlds. Where things unwanted in the multi-universe or creations of the Mirror Pond that are returned to end up in with no way out. But we found another full actually pony version of you Twilight and she was so cool with how she seemed to be like a-" as Pinkie started to ramble off subject, Spike spoke up, "Pinkie... you're getting off track and didn't explain some things. So Twilight what happen at first was-"

We cut to back where we last lift off with Spike and Pinkie. Spike and Pinkie are running to a strange glass town with humans? Dragons? Yaks? And so many other strange but similar people to Spike and Pinkie know of. Spike looks up at the huge glass bear like thing although bear wouldn't be the only word that could be use to describe it.

Spike then jumps up and glides in the air in the face of this beast and blasts his flame breath trying to melt the beast. The glass starts to glow as the creature screams in pain. The beast strikes at Spike with its huge paw slamming Spike into the pond and he gets thrown back up like the floor of glass was a trampoline and then gripped Spike with one paw trapping Spike in its grip.

Pinkie looks around for a spot as fast as she could and found a spot to hide her two new daughters as she rushes in blasting a party Cannon at the beast making look at her with annoyance. As the beast lifts its leg to step on Pinkie to make her a pancake.

Purple magic grips to the leg holding it up away from Pinkie. Pinkie looks over to see a horse with a horn that glows seemly holding up the leg away from her.

Pinkie then runs up the leg and uses her all her strength to try and break the creatures arm holding Spike. Spike feeling it lose it's grip. Let's out a the biggest breath attack of flames he could and the creature the screams out in pain as it vanishes.

Spike and Pinkie started falling both shocked hug each other as they fell. Before feeling a strange energy grip them and help them come down calmly to the ground.

"Well thank you both for trying to help. Trying to attack a Sentinel of the Mirror Pond would not make it go away.. it's even questionable if it's possible for those things to be defeated. Spike and Pinkie looks at this Twilight confused. Just how big was the multiverse and just why is she a full on horse? While many more questions where running through their heads. Pinkie While listening went to get both Diamonmia Pie and Aurora Borlis Pie from their hiding spot when They saw a Pinkie Pie Clone holding Diamonmia Pie by the neck while having a foot on top of Aurora Borlis Pie. She Smiles at Pinkie Pie with the sharpest shark like teeth and eyes pure black.

"Well, Well WELL WELL! If it isn't the coward who made us... Nice you new weak children you have here. It would be-" As the clone taunts. Spike rams into her making her drop Diamonmia as Pinkie catches her daughter. As Spike is now wresting with the Pinkie Pie clone.

The clone in rage fights back as Twilight tries to interfere with her magic. Pinkie Pie stops her, "Me and Spike can handle this. Can you please heal and check on my daughters."

Twilight nods her head. Making sure going over the wounds on both kids. Both where not greatly harmed. Just some cuts and bruises from the clone. Pinkie Pie rushes in joining Spike in wresting as she tries to trip the clone. The clone dodges with ease and gets slammed to the ground by Spike. The clone strength rivals that of Pinkies and both are neck and neck.

"Always being the one LOVED AND HELPED BY THOSE AROUND YOU AREN'T YOU!" The clone screams rage as she gets the upper hand and punches Pinkie Pie in the jaw, "YOU HAD EVERYTHING AND CREATED ME BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T DEAL WITH YOUR OWN PROBLEMS! NOW MY MEAN EXISTANCE IS HATED! FOR BEING A COPY OF YOU!"

Spike grapples the clone from the back trying to get her off of Pinkie as Pinkie gets back up from the hit to the jaw. She then looks into the eyes of the clone dead on as she punches her in the gut, "Enough! You can hate me, you can attack me all you WANT! BUT MESS WITH MY DAUGHTERS! AND YOU ARE GROUNDED! YOUNG LADY!"

The clone then picks up Spike and throws him over herself trying to hit Pinkie Pie with him but she dodges then Pinkie goes in and hugs the clones, "that includes you too. You are my daughter."

"What! No I am not! I am just your MERE COPY-", The raging clone tries to push her off and punches Pinkie Pie in the gut multiple times, each hit slowly getting weaker, "I am not... you.. Why... Just WHY!?"

"Because... I am truly sorry for what happened. I was a careless kid when it happened and no one other than me understood the details of the Pond... I should have done more, but I didn't... Because I didn't know how the stupid Pond works and was careless. I am sorry for that... The others are just filled with hatred and seem soulless now, but when looking into your eyes... I see what are I saw in both Diamonmia and Aurora Borlis. A soul still their but dying without hope... The others are just shells of rage, but I can see that you still have a little light that is just enough... That I want to at least try saving one last person that is my responsibility for existing. Please let me show you that you are wanted." Pinkie Pie lets out her regrets as she cries along side the clone.

The Clone tries pushing her away but Pinkie would not let go. Pinkie did not want to fail another soul in need of hope. She learned that from Sunset that the act of Mercy takes time and that it is hard. But it is worth the energy and time to do so. The Clone stops resisting as Twilight comes up and well tries to put a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder, but fails touching her side.

"Well your kids are fine, and well although I expected this fellow clone child of yours to be a lot harder to handle. You always did have a way with kids... Along with good friends willing to help out." Twilight as she looks over at Spike and gets him some aid for his wounds from the fight. Pinkie Pie isn't an Earth blood for nothing.

Spike then stands up after being healed as he goes and picks up the kids for Pinkie Pie. He heads over to her and Twilight from whatever world and asks, "So your not a clone? Also the kids called that thing you called a 'Sentinel' of the Mirror Pond. They had a different name for it, The 'Shatter Mirror Beast'. Why are their two different names for it? What is this place and how many more are their of these beasts, sentinels? whatever they are called."

"Ah no problem Spike. These are not to complex questions. One no I am not a clone, I am what is called a world hopper and my universe I come and go from as I please, but I have decided to stay here to help those who have lost their worlds that have no were to go or even clones as well if they ever leave the world borders they are from. They do have the right name as the Mirror Pond coded it into their minds for them to know the one of our area zone. To explain their are series of area zones for sections of 7 total. For series of different universes and the name of the Sentinel would be the one known as Shatter Mirror Beast. Each one wakes up during different types to clear up space within memory of the Mirror Pond from things of it's creations from across the multiverse. For the Mirror Pond is one of the few things that is a constant for all worlds. But it still has a limit and so the Sentinels wake up at special times to clear up space within it. As still has limit to how much it can hold. Though it will not attack creatures or people doesn't matter if human or pony. That are living here as we don't take up space unless with attack the Sentinels then we are seen like a virus that needs to be removed. I stay here to protect those who have no where to go. any other questions." Twilight went on a full on break down of the subjects Spike asked.

Spike nods his head as Pinkie Pie goes next as she continues to hug her clone with shark teeth although the Clone is still mad and struggling to fight back from the kindness, "OH OH I have a FEW! One howisitpossibleformycloneswhengiventheirownnamestranform? Two howdoesonetravelbetweenworldsthroughthemirrorpond? Three Whatmakesyourworld-" Twilight cuts in, "One your kids that were clones that you name are no longer clones. As you gave them their own identity the Mirror Pond as the partner in a sense acknowledged your choice to name them draining itself of the data of the clones and transferring life essence into the kids making them the proper age they would be. Plus taking a copy of the DNA code of the person naming them and the one who originally created them to create the kids new bodies. Although with how you named them and created the clones, I didn't expect them to look as strange as they do as they should have a little more traits from you with details to still make both girls stand out from you at least. Second, It's actually fairly easy for someone with magic, but harder for an Earth- human pony? Sorry I never seen a world before yet with aspects of both human and pony world co-existence before. I would say Spike here can pull it off for you with his dragon magic although. If you have it. While what makes my world different is that my magic from my world is 10x stronger than other worlds making so even like of those of Trixie can travel between worlds easily. All my friends and my Spike are world hoppers. Off doing who knows right now, but we stay in touch."

Pinkie Pie blushes as she nods her head understanding things and spikes grows wider as she looks at Spike who is also blushing, "Pinkie... No.."

"Please Please Please Please Please!" as Pinkie Pie continues to beg Spike who looks at her confused why she wants it so much, "But why Pinkie?! Won't you want to I don't know ask Cheese Sandwich to name your third clone child so she can have a mix set of traits with the person you have a crush on?!"

"HEY I DON'T WANT TO BE HER DAUGHTER!" The clone said in clear denial as Pinkie Pie smirks, "I do find him cute... But I think after seeing my first two wonderful daughters look so lovely from being named by you Spiky. I want my first three daughters to have consistence when it comes to DNA and looks."

"wait are you saying..." Spike begins to ask now confused but wants to hear from her mouth what he thinks she is implying. Before Twilight calls for them both, "Hey can you come into my place for a second so I can go over somethings over with you too flirts!"

"We are not dating!" Both Spike and Pinkie Say, but Spikes knows for a fact her heard Pinkie Pie say something under her breath as she runs on in with her clone being hugged all this time and Spike still with both Diamonmia and Aurora Borlis in hand who are both smiling at him, "I have a feeling you both want to tease me don't you."

both kids giggle as Spike comes in and sees that Pinkie put the clone to the side asking her to hold her siblings while they decide a name for her. The clone wanted to protest but Spike hands her the kids knowing full well what Pinkie has planned with this. Both of them head into an office room with a desk and chair enough for everyone to have a place to sit. As everyone sits down Spike speaks up, "Ok can you tell us how to get out of here? Also does from what you have implied... Is the Mirror Pond alive?"

"Yes, it's should be easy for you Spike, all you need to do is to breath a blue flame of fire or whatever color of flame of the world you came from into the pond to make a gateway open. Simple as that. As for the second question, yes and no... The Mirror Pond is more like what humans call an advance AI... While alive in someway when it comes to thinking and logic. It has no soul. Leaving it in a state of inconsistences. In moments like when you name a clone that shows a sign of kindness and understanding of the worth of life and freedom to exist. While in other moments like when creating things such as the first Sirens. It seems like it has no care for the results of what it creates other then filling a 'need'." Twilight goes over the details when Pinkie asks, "What do you mean a 'need'?"

"Well the Mirror Pond at first when creating things, didn't need someone else to create. One of the first things the Mirror Pond made in order to attract life in the world to the Pond where the Sirens. That was their job to bring people to the Pond. So it may study the life outside it's realm. It's does things for mere wanting of knowledge like that of a program, but without a function. Still wanting a reason to work. Sure you can say that wanting something could be shown as alive, but time and time again. I have seen the Pond show no care for what the choices end result is. All it's end goal is. Is to make sure it's always working on something. That's it. It needs something to work. So to fill that need it made things to make things happen." Twilight goes over the details although it sounds alive, at the same time it does not.

Spike then speaks, "Well thanks for the information, I have one question... Do you know anything about who would want to invade other worlds that has an evil dragon who would know about the powers of the Mirror Pond? Who would know to use flame breath to make gates between worlds open along with using a Mirror stone to send me and Pinkie here?"

Twilight nods her head at the details of the question. Understanding that their are other evil versions of all Equestria people, but the info did break down the list... To dragons, those who can use magic and know about the full power of the Mirror Pond... That leaves a handful of possible choices but before she could speak. A roar was heard outside of the Sentinel...

"WHAT! The SENTINEL Shouldn't be waking up for another few years! WHY IS IT AWAKE AGAIN!?" Twilight panics as she runs outside knowing she needs to defend her people. Spike and Pinkie nod at each other knowing people and the kids where at risk. Spike as they both run out speak to the clone, "Stay here and hide with the kids! Me and others will deal with this! Please stay safe!"

The clone just nods her head as the two girls stay behind her, scared. The clone as Spike and Pinkie head out asks, "Why do you two just trust me? I hurt you? I hurt your family..."

"... Mama wants to give you a chance and she wants to love you.. So I want to as well." Aurora Borlis tells as Diamonmia goes next, "Besides, Uncle Spike is giving you his trust with us... So we are family then aren't we?"

Going head first Spike uses his fire breath to the same color as the pond below of Red to cause a gate to appear making the creature lose it's footing and leg as it falls over. Twilight is making so all the different Applejacks, Pinkie Pies, Spikes etc. That have been out in the open get to safety and cover from the danger. Pinkie Pie fires out about 20 party cannons at once into the face of the fallen beast. It then retaliates as it swings it's arm breaking multiple of the cannons and some building as it misses Pinkie with it's first attack but then grapples her in the air. Twilight comes to try and help but her magic starts being blocked by an anti magic field. Twilight is then knocked to the ground out cold. Spike who has been continues trying to sink the beast into the other world seeing that it turns to dust as it does, knows that at this rate Pinkie will be crushed. Spike is about to stop, but the clone comes into the fight and slams her fists into the eyes of the beast as it looses it's grip on her. Saving Pinkie as she gets enough space to blast the creature with her mini cannon causing her to be dropped to the ground.

Spike the finishes making the gate big enough as he pulls the creature without legs with all he got with Pinkie and her daughter pushing with all their strength before it can fight back into the hole. Dusting to nothing. Pinkie Pie hugs her clone as the clones like, "yeah, yeah... Stop please. you have HUGGED ME TO MUCH TODAY MAMA!"

She blushes more at what she just said when Spike laughs and said, "well you are just as feisty but more nice then people think Shark Pie aren't you?"

She starts to glow at that and she glares at Spike as she turns into a nicer looking 5 year old. With Pjs of an ocean blue with a shark with a pink hat on it. Her skin more purple with her mothers blue eyes and a bright seaweed green. Having black instead of white for her eyes and a lovely shark teeth still that are a lot more clean. Shark Pie goes and starts cutely hitting Spike mad as he picks her up signing, "I should not have said it like that..."

"AHAHAHAH! Well At least now my three daughters have a wonderful father figure." Pinkie Pie teases him, as both Aurora Borlis and Diamonmia question, "But we thought he was our uncle? Also what's a father?"

"Well while I love to have seeing the silly family bond you guys have. I think with what just happened. I can say who for sure did all this." Twilight who had been healed by a Starlight got up and walked up to them, "This was 100% the work of one of the evil Spikes of the multiverse."

"Well I think that's enough drama for now. Thanks, I have some parenting to do and college life to manage back home so, Spike let's go and thanks. by the way other Twilight!" Pinkie Pie explains clearly done with all that happened now and wants to focus on being a mother.

Spike and the three kids after giving Farwell to all the clones and people of the small town. While Spike was also weirded out by a male and female versions of him making out. So weird the idea in general that Spike never again wants to think about dating a female version of himself Makes breaths his breath weapon and both him and Pinkie Pie jump down the gate back to home.

"Well Well you escaped sooner than planned... Oh well... Nothing I expect less from another me." A figure watching them laughs out as he vanishes into the dark of the Pond.

Spike and Pinkie explain all this after running into Big Mac and the others after traveling through the Evergreen forest, but leaving out the parts about Spike basically being the DNA father of the kids. Spike is still annoyed at Pinkie for that. Pinkie knows this and seems to want to use it to make fun of him or something. While Pinkie is thinking about who she wants in life now more seriously then before. She has a few guys on that list that should would date and Spike was on that list. She hopes he can tell.

Twilight nods her head, "Well this helps a lot actually. Now we know just what threat we are dealing with and that this evil Spike knows more then we do about the Multiverse making him a huge threat."

"Not only that if he could mess with the logic code of the Sentinel Beast of the Mirror Pond to make it appear by what was implied. This evil Spike may be as dangerous as an evil Twilight." Shining Armor explains.

Everyone signs as this has been a headache of a start of the college year. AppleBloom speaks up, "Well I don't know about y'all, but I need to hit the hay after that and learning well Pinkie's a mother now! I was for sure I was going to be an aunt before that happened when applejack finally asks out-" Applejack covers her sisters mouth before nodding her head, "y'all heard her, It's late and we should all hit the hey in my honest option. Night!"

Slowly after AppleJack, AppleBloom and Big Mac leave. Everyone in groups head home to go and get sleep. Until it was only Pinkie Pie, Twilight and Spike left with the kids.

"thanks Twilight for letting me stay here with the kids as I need to make arrangements now with having three kids on hand for a nicer space to live." Pinkie Pie Smiles has happily as ever.

Twilight smiles back as she gives Pinkie Pie the safest guest room in her place, "Of course, you are one of my best friends. I know it will be hard on you to figure things out and I want to help. So take all the time you need. Good night!"

As Twilight closes the door to let Pinkie Pie be with her kids. She turns and smirks at Spike, "Twilight... What is going through your head?"

"Spike I did note that the kids seem to have more dragon traits then a earth blood should have~!" Twilight gave the biggest grin.

Spike signs, "Look she likes Cheese. Two I am into Rarity, or even Applejack would be fun to date. I know the multiverse exists that I could end up dating anyone with all the possible outcomes, but Pinkie? She has an energy and aura that I would one just drag down. Two, I think she would be happy with Cheese Sandwich. Three I am more probably going to date Rarity, Applejack or somehow maybe even Gabby. Pinkie Pie will probably choose someone like Cheese or Big Mac."

"You didn't say you weren't interested in that timeline of where you and Pinkie got together~." Twilight does an older sister tease. She knows that Spike has a lot more on his mind then love, but this is just a way to bring a little hope to Spike. As he has been hard on himself as of late. Twilight can tell. After all. He got it from her as her bond to Spike is just like Shining with her. He is her LBBFF, Little Brother Best Friend Forever. Spike then smiles as he hugs his sister. Heads to bed as does Twilight.

Chapter 8: New day to day

Everyone was adjusting and it would take time. After all with what has happened. One the manhunt for the evil version of Spike known as lord Drago. Two college classes going well with Spike still not sure ok his major but for now taking general education while he finds out. What does Spike wants to do with his life? Spike was not use to that idea... He has spent most of his youth and life with Twilight and her family. He had been jokingly called Twilight's Assistant for years. He didn't mind it, as he felt the need to repay her and her family's kindness for taking him in when no one else wanted Spike.

Spike didn't even remember who is parents where and could have rotted within the poorly made fostercare system. Princess Luna for years now has actually been actively trying to revise, reveal, redo or even remake the entire fostercare system to give the best to the children while making sure the best and responsible parents are chosen.

Many corrupt figures in the government system push back against her thinking she is 'overreacting'. Yeah Spike has burned the backhides of some scummy people when he could get away with it. A surprising ally in this was Flithy Rich. diamond Tiara's father. The CMC have with a few of our other friends have asked her why her father supports this.

Apparently Tiara's father was an orphan himself. He knows how messed up the system is and tries to help in secret whenever he can. He has huge trust issues for reasons Tiara will not say.

Pinkie after the mess of the failed first party begged for second chance of a great party for Spike. Shining and Twilight after hours gave in. The party was a blast and went on with no problems. While everyone was worried the hunt for Lord Drago but their was no sign of him without anymore clues to what he has planned next. It left many on edge.

After that he classes went well. Each went by of learning math, science or dragon magic depending on classes. Combat training with all his friends. Spike's main sparing partners were Ember, Grable, Smolder, Autumn Blaze, Thorax and Grabby.

Sunset often also joined in Sparing with Spike every now and then. Then at least once a week the evil version of the week from a different universe to take over. Sometimes it was an easy one for Spike like a plant powered up Babs Seed. Sometimes it was a insanely powerful zombie army commanding Starlight.

Each fight help Spike get stronger, faster, Smarter. Spike was actually worried for a bit that he was going a bit insane at times. But he talked it out with Twilight and it was nothing to worry about as Spike was just going through some small power surges. His body was not use to the power up Spike had gotten to the energy would mess with his head a bit. Everyone else went through this as well.

Each day was fun as his spend time with his friends. Bonding over activities, group events and training. Pinkie had the similar day to day. Well she knew her major unlike Spike. She was a baker/cook Major learning how to be a great chef so she can start her own sweet store was her plan. She actually did need to learn math and science for different reasons. Math for how to fund and do taxes. Science to understand the chemical side of Baking.

While she was building her skills in combat she would often spare with only Rainbow Dash when it comes to speed as Pinkie was one of the few that could actually keep up with her in speed enough to give Rainbow a good challenge. While she trained often with other skills with Applejack, Scootaloo, Sunburst, Trixie, Yona, Rarity and/or Flash Sentry.

Her family have tried to be a bit more protective of Pinkie after thinking she was gone forever, but She often still got into the fights to protect her home and now has a place of her own with her three daughters. With Celestia's help she got a great Babysitter for when she is in her college classes. Nah got you, the Cake family agreed to help out as the twins having some friends to play with even if they were a little older than them where greatly appreciated as the Cakes had often found Pound and Pumpkin being a bit isolated. They didn't understand why, but it seems that Shark, Aurora Borlis and Diamonmia playing with the twins helped with that problem.

PS the Cakes 100% question just when did Pinkie become the Parent of 5 year old's and she told them she adopted. She show got that paper work from Celestia as the best way to make a cover for her kids. Now while studying to make a living with a nice bakery and dealing with her three wonderful but troubled daughters. She has been having a hard time juggling college life, a job and being with her friends plus saving the world on a weekly.

Spike often helps with babysitting the three kids when the cakes are unavailable to do so. Wallflower, Tree Hugger, Discord, and even Big Mac have been greatly kind as well in aiding with the kids. The reality is everyone of Pinkie Pie's friends have and it's be a wonderful experience. The team has put guards around the Mirror Pond and many investigates and talking with the world traveling Twilight has let the team to learn much about the Mirror Pond and it's creations like the Sirens. Sonata Dusk has been must interested in those details.

Each day they are learning something new about how the multiverse works and how each world seems to be effected by some different type of magic or rules of magic. Spike while looking over some worrying details when it comes to the multiverse. An inconsistencies that don't even add up. Even within his own world. Spike has been talking with Sunset, Twilight, Luna, Starlight, Sunburst, and even Discord about the details that don't add up. No one really understood why and understood the confusion Spike had but didn't have an answer themselves.

Well almost, Discord who has been asked around Applejack has shown from her reactions to his way of talking. That he knows something but that he can't tell. Spike although understands that Applejack is right and understandable that she hates anyone lying. Spike knew their must be a reason as Discord has learned to share information for the safety of his friends, but also to hide information for the same reason. Spike let's it go for now, knowing that it would be best to trust Discord to share it when it would be needed.

Ember, Smolder, Garble, Gabby, Rarity, and CMC where all planning some activities for the week for different groups of their huge friend to do. Ember was also helping Spike figuring out what Major he wanted to do.

Spike loved to write stories as often he played ogley's and obuglies with discord, Big Mac etc so often that he has written hundreds of different worlds, settings and even some of his own system ideas that he could make creations of creatity on his own like that of books, video game lore and/or even his own TTRPG of his own if he wished, but would that be able to take care of a family? Why is Spike thinking about this now? Well one Spike is college and two needing a good consistent source of income is needed to take care of a family. Plus now seeing Pinkie Pie of all people being more responsible then ever before with her being the first to have kids out of all his friends..

It got spiking deeply about this more than ever. Jobs like election or trade college fields are actually right now on the low end and many would pay him to learn the craft and knowledge needed to handle sewers, and all the messy work many people don't like to do when it comes to trade college works. It would be a guaranteed profit and make it so he always has work. Problem is he would one have to figure out which work best for him and his powers and two, what to do about making sure nothing about saving the world from outside invaders gets out to the news?

If he is not careful, someone could find out. Spike was worried about this throughout his new day to day. He also like his friends Discord, Big Mac, Sunburst and Flash Sentry have been going on dates with different girls trying to find out what they would like in a girl along with just having some fun with still being fairly young.

Flash even went on a date with Ember once. Let's just say they both prefer just being friends. Discord still makes fun of the fire pancakes to this day. Big Mac actually maybe close to getting a girlfriend which Spike is so glad Big Mac is finally getting serious. The big guy has been needing it for a while. Although Spike doesn't know who she is yet. That is for a different day to worry about it.

Right now it was about a month after the events at Pinkie's Party and she was getting the hang of being a parent. She is also more seriously dating and trying to find someone. Sadly with having three kids many guys now have no interest in her thinking well poorly of her. Many of her friends although have called this out as Pinkie has made it clear that they are adopted technically. How to explain kids that were once the Pinkie Clones are a headache for people to understand.

Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie have gone on a few dates and Spike thinks they both will finally get together... soon. Twilight and Spike where actually planning a double date at the request of Flash Sentry and Ember. Ember actually has expressed interest in Spike a few times and Twilight and Flash have been doing a little flirting back and forth. Celestia has been on the down-low as of late for unknown reasons to Spike.

Twilight, Cadance and even Luna have been all in the dark about this and don't know what is happening with Celestia, but it weirdly has become common for her.

Twilight then comes to the door of Spikes room as he has been writing in his journal about these events and what is on his mind. "Spike! Ready for date night?"

"Yeah! Just wondering, why do Flash and Ember wanted to do with group date thing with us?" Spike has been confused about it especially with the implications of it with Twilight mainly going with Flash and Spike with Ember, but both siblings being in this double date night.

Twilight giggles, "Spike don't over think it. One Flash does want to get to know you incase things go well between us and same with Ember wanting to probably bond with me to get my approval. Most likely at least."

"Yeah, fair. Well let's go. Oh by the way Twilight. Have you seen the news?" Spike asks out of curiosity

Twilight looks confused,"No? Why?"

"Apparently we have some population problems right now within our world when it comes to birth rates and gender ratio... Don't know the number details exactly... but it could be seen within the next 20 to 40 years that the world population will cut in half then another 5 to 10 years to extinction..." Spike explains what was said.

Twilight thinks as they both head out the door, "Well now... I genuinely have no idea. I look into it and let you know, but i would recommend you to do research about it as well. As most learning can be good learning experience."

As Twilight ans Spike ride off in Twilight's car and figure stares at them from the shadows of the next door neighbors backyard as he turns to smoke leaving behind a stone statue of their neighbor watering his backyard garden.
