//-------------------------------------------------------// Coma-boy Adventures -by SmokeyStar- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.1 "Somepony in Trouble" //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.1 "Somepony in Trouble"     Opening his eyes, Austen had sudden flash-backs of his car accident; It was a bright morning and Austen was almost late for School. He quickly got dressed and rushed out to his car, turned it on, backed out of his driveway and sped away, He was one tardy away from being taken to court due to his high number of missed school days. He ran a stop sign and ran right into the side of a SUV which was turning at the intersection. That was all he remembered, his screams echoing, he had blacked out and woken up here, wherever "here" was. He stood up and looked around, "Hello?" he called, "Is anyone there?" he yelled, but there was no reply. "The wreck was nowhere near a forest..." he thought to himself. "Dammit!" he said quietly, flicking his watch which was stuck on 8:43, the time of the crash he assumed. "I'm freaking late." He though, "Moms gonna be pissed!". "HELLO???" he shouted, louder this time, but it was useless. There wasn't anybody within miles of where he was, so he walked... -       Austen sat quietly around a little fire he had made of sticks, dry leaves, and a lighter he had always kept on him, he adopted the horrid addiction to smoking when he was only 14. Anyways, he had tried calling out to anyone that was around him while he walked for hours, but there was no hope, he was going to die and he had to make himself realize the truth.... - It was a bright and peaceful day in Ponyville, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. Fluttershy was home doing her daily chores. Feeding the animals, watering the plants, and so on. She had just got done pouring some food for the dogs when this thunderous yell caused her to jump and quickly run inside for cover "Hello? Is anyone there??" the voice said. "Oh silly me." She thought to herself, "The yell was far from where here." she thought in relief, but got goosebumps when she realized that the yells were indeed far from her exact location, but were coming from the worst place imaginable, the Everfree forest! "Oh no!" she gulped, Somepony is in trouble! "Hellooo?!?" it boomed again. "Maybe I should help!" She said to herself, encouragingly. She stepped outside and gazed upon the edges of the forest, she had a quick flashback to all the horrible creatures that were out there, without any hesitation she zipped into her home, slamming the door behind her. "Oh no no no no!" She said, "Maybe I could just get somepony else to have a look.." she quietly said to herself. It was her final decision to ask one of the girls to go. -    "Dag nabbit!" Applejack said observing the dead tree in front of her, "Thats the third one this week" she griped. "Applejack, I need your help, If you're not too busy..." Fluttershy said lightly, but still loud enough for Applejack to clearly hear her. "I'm sorry Fluttershy." Replied AJ, "But me n Macintoch have work ta do here at th' farm." she said. "Oh it's okay, sorry for being a distraction.." Fluttershy apologized, quickly flying away. "But you weren't a.." AJ tried to tell Fluttershy that she wasn't a distraction at all, but she was too far along to hear, so Applejack just went back to working. - "Fluttershy!" yelled Rainbow Dash , she was glad to see Fluttershy. They hadn't talked in almost a week when they usualy talk every day. "Hey Rainbow Dash!" Said Fluttershy, who didn't want any small talk, she wanted someone to find the pony that had released those horrid screams from the forest. "How have ya been old pal?" asked Rainbow "Well, good but-" "Thats fantastic! Me to!" Rainbow Dash cut Fluttershy off in mid sentence without knowing. "I was just on my way to your house, but sense you're already here, i'll tell you now." Rainbow said. "I am competing in a race that the Thunderbolts will be attending today, and I have a ticket for you!!" "Oh no thank you, I have stuff to do. I'm sorry Rainbow, but maybe if I'm done before the race starts I'll be able to make it." Said Fluttershy, knowing that Rainbow will take any chance she can at being in the Wonderbolts and wouldn't miss the race for anything in the world. "Oh.. Yeah.. I guess.." Said Rainbow sadly. "Well, I got to go to Raritys, I'll see you later." Said Fluttershy walking away. She was very upset about not being able to see Rainbow win the race, but she had to get help for that poor pony in the forest. - Rarity said no. She was making a new hat like thing called a "Beanie" for a pony named Smokey Star that had wondered into Zecora's cabin with no recollections of how he had gotten there, she had never made one before so it was going to take a long time before she was going to be able to get it just right. Pinkie was babysitting while Mr. and Mrs. Cake were out on a very big job, and Twilight was visiting Princess Celestia in Cantherlot, so she was miles away. Spike on the other hand was available till hearing the words "Everfree forest" so it looked like Fluttershy was going to have to go and do it herself. She gulped at the thought of being in the Everfree forest alone, she hated going there, even with her friends. She walked home, the screams had stopped, "Maybe they already got saved" Fluttershy thought in relief, "Or maybe they died!!" Fluttershy almost cried at the thought of the pony running into some dangerous creature and being swallowed alive. "I have to go!" she said bravely.     "You're in charge.." Fluttershy said, face to face with her pet rabbit, Angel. "If I'm not back by tomorrow then alert the girls.." She said softly before kissing the rabbit softly on its cheek and opening the door hesitantly. "Well... Here goes nothing.." She said, galloping out of the house and into the forest, unknowing of who she'd find... Or WHAT she'd find. TO BE CONTINUED..... //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.2 "In The Eyes Of The Beast" //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.2 "In The Eyes Of The Beast"     'I wonder how long I can last just laying here..' Austen thought, staring up at the cloudy sky. Suddenly a rustling in the bushes catch his attention. "Hello?" he called, "Who's there?" he said. There was no reply, "Just the wind I guess." he said to himself, refocusing on the clouds. Austen always thought that clouds were one of the most interesting thing, they are constantly  moving and changing. Another sound from the bush caught his attention, a high pitched screeching sound made him cover his ears. "What the hell??" he silently said to himself, He stood up and rushed towards the bush, but slowed down as he got closer, he hesitantly pulled the branches apart.... "A Komodo Dragon??" he said, looking down at a green scaley tail with spikes going down it. He giggled at how scared he was earlier. He went to go and pick it up but when he pulled it out of the bush, a chicken head popped out and its long wings sped, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!" He screamed in terror, throwing the creature as he fell to the ground. "What the hell is that thing?!" He thought to himself and it crawled from its landing-point. It slowly crawled towards him, "Is that a dragon with a chickens head?!" he said to himself, shocked of his discovery. The creature slithered up his leg and sat peacefully in his lap, staring in his eyes, Austen stared back. They were like this for what seemed to be hours, but Austen had to blink, so he did. "What the hell.." Austen said, he couldn't move his foot at all. At first it was just his left foot, but then it was his right. He looked down to see that they had both been turned to stone. He stared at them in pure confusion, it took a matter of seconds for him to notice that stone was moving up his leg "Ohfuckohfuckohfuck!!" he screamed. "HELLLLL-" he was turned to stone before he got to finish his cry for help. Not too far away Fluttershy was still trying to find her way to the screams she had previously heard. "Oh poo.." she said. "Who-ever it was is long gone" she said to herself, turning around to head back home when  she was struck by the mysterious voice again, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!" The voice shouted, Fluttershy's hope was restored. She galloped as fast as she could towards the voice. She stopped in her tracks as she watched nervously, "HELLLLL-". That was it, the voice she had been hearing, but it wasn't a pony.. She didn't know what it was.. It looked like a monkey to her. Whatever it was, it had been turned to stone by that dang Cockatrice again, and it was he duty to save it. "Hey you!" She yelled at the Cockatrice, it yelped and slowly turned around, he had recognized the voice. "Yeah, you! I want you to de-stone this poor creature NOW!" She screamed. The Cockatrice screeched and quickly ran away.   "LLLP", Austen finished his cry for help before looking around. Fluttershy stood still, she was scared of what might happen. Austen glanced at her, "You're... F-...flu-" He fainted.    Austen expected to wake up from this horrid dream he had in his first period class, but no. Upon his awakening he realized that whatever happened to him before was not over. "What the hell is this place?" he said quietly to himself. "You're in my cottage." Fluttershy replied to Austen's mumble. He slowly turned around, hoping to see a pretty little nurse with short hair and nice blue eyes but was shocked when he saw Fluttershy, "Holy.." Austen stopped himself, no way was he going to curse in front of such a innocent little creature. "I really hope you don't mind me asking.." Fluttershy said nervously, "But what are you..?" she questioned. "Well, I'm a human..." He said, "And... You're... You're a Fluttershy.." he said. He was so confused, there's no way that this could be a dream, he would've woken up for second period by now. "Well no, I'm a pony named Fluttershy." She said amusingly "Am I in.... Ponyville..?" Austen gulped at the thought. "Why yes, you are.." she replied 'I must be high off LSD or something...' he he whispered to himself. "Where are you from?" Fluttershy questioned "I'm from... Earth..?" "Is that close to Phillydelphia?" Fluttershy had a million questions. "Um... Yes..?" Austen was so confused and had 100 times more questions then Fluttershy, but there were no answers to his questions, for this made no sense, how could he magically be in Ponyville? "Well how did you get in the Everfree forest??" She continued to question. "Well, its a long story" Austen replied. It was a long story, a long story that not even himself could answer. "How long are you staying in Ponyville?" Austen was starting to get a little annoyed by Fluttershy's questions but answered anyway, "I'm hoping to find a nice house here and stay, but I lost my bits in the Everfree forest." He lied. 'Oh damn, I almost said money' He giggled in his mind. "Well, you may stay here until you get more bits." Fluttershy offered "Oh no, I would hate to be a bother" he said "You won't be" Fluttershy said "I'm not one to get bothered very easily."  she grinned. "Well.. I guess I could stay here, I just have to head into town and do stuff first." Austen said "May I come with? I need stuff from the store anyway." Asked Fluttershy "Uhhh.. Yeah." Austen knew that if Fluttershy wasn't with him then he'd probably chased out of town like a animal, he was petrified by the thought of what might happen, taking his first step into a pony populated city. -- The crowd roared as Rainbow Dash crossed the finish line in first place. "Oh my god oh my god oh my god!" She squeaked when she saw the Wonder Bolts look of Complete satisfaction, she hoped that winning this race would get her in the group that she admired oh so much but was devastated when they flew away without a word. "I guess I'll just... Go home.." She thought with a frown on her face. -- Rarity yawned as she marched to Zecora's cabin to give Smokey Star his beanie which she had just completed. Upon getting there she saw a ravishing stallion, he was red with a long black mane and tail, she stood there staring as he watered Zecora's plants. "Wow... she thought. "He's..." "Oh hey!" The stallion called out to her. "You must be Rarity!" He said in his deep voice that had Rarity even more attracted to him then before. "Um, hello.... Yes, that would be me.." She said just about as soft as Fluttershy. "Who.. Who are you?" she asked curiously. "I'm Smokey! I believe you are the mare that Zecora asked to make me a new beanie!" He said amusingly "Um.. That would be me.." Rarity has never felt like more of a wuss in her whole life. "Your work is done little Rarity, a shiny bit you will see." said Zacora, walking from her cabin. Rarity gave the beanie to Smokey. "It's the first one I've ever made so I really hope you like it." she said shyly. "Wow!" He said, impressed by her work. "This it really comfortable! Reminds me of back home!" Rarity smiled and blushed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 3 "Cigam Kcalb Pt.1" //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 3 "Cigam Kcalb Pt.1" Cigam Kcalb Pt.1 Austen's hands were trembling as he walked alongside Fluttershy. "How do you think everyone is going to react when they see me?" He asked her nervously. "I'm sure they'll trust my judgment.." Said the small yellow pony. But the honest truth was that she was just a nervous as he was. "I sure as hell hope so..." he gulped. The thought of what they'd do to him gave him goosebumps. What if they attempted to chase him out of town and end up getting in a big pony riot or he gets sent to like a Cantherlot jail or something. Austen stopped thinking about that when something caught his eye. "Oh my god..." Austen said as the town that he had seen on Tv almost a thousand times came into  sight. "It's so much cooler up close.." He said. The colors amazed him and he had never seen building that were shaped like the ones that he had just laid his eyes upon. Austen lost his train of thought when Fluttershy lightly called back at him. "Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude but are you coming?" She was much further ahead of Austen, looking back to see him staring at the town that she saw as just a regular town, but of coarse she lived here sense she was a Philly and he was a new comer. "Oh, right.." Austen replied as he jogged  to catch up with her. They walked into town and looked around. Everypony was staring at them like the were convicts that had been wanted for murder. "Uhh... Fluttershy.. What is that?" asked a small light yellow pony with a light red curly mane. "His name is Austen" Fluttershy replied amusingly, not knowing what Austen was. "What kind of creature is he?"  she questioned. Fluttershy was struck speechless by the question. She was so caught up in talking to Austen and learning all about him that she never stopped to think about the thing he said he was. Human. What was a human. Austen realized that this was none other then one of his least favorite ponies, Apple Bloom. "GO HOME YOU LITTLE CUNT!!" Austen yelled. He clearly had no tolerance for kids. Or in this case, phillies, but he also noticed that Fluttershy wasn't answering the question, he had to defend her. Everypony stared at him deeper now. His mission not to attract attention had failed and a crowd was quickly forming around him as they were all Questioning him relentlessly and the fact that they weren't getting answers was just just pissing them off. "Please stop everypony! Leave him alone!" Fluttershy softly said, too soft to be heard over the yelling ponies. Suddenly Austen started glowing dark purple and floating. "Holy shit! I'm a fucking super hero!" he said, holding his arms above his head to try and fly away, it was useless. He just slowly levitated over the crowd and landed safely on his feet next to a purple pony. "Is this any way to treat a new comer?" the Purple pony shouted. "He is our guest! We shall treat him like one!" "But Twi, what is he?" A pony shouted from the crowd. Twilight Sparkle looked at Austen then back at the crowd. "Isn't it obvious?" she said. "He's a human!" The crowd spoke among themselves for no more then 20-25 seconds. "I thought they only existed in fairy tales..?" a confused pony finally blurted out. "Just like Automobiles and Cellular phones!" another pony yelled. Twilight turned back looked at Austen. She was just as confused as everypony else although she didn't show it. She refused to! What if the word of her getting confused got around and the Princess found out and somehow related this to her studies and didn't let her graduate! "I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this.." Twi said in a confident voice (Although she was VERY unsure) "I'm going to take him back to the library and find some way to figure this whole thing out.." Twilight moved her hoof in a pointing motion telling Austen to head in that direction, breaking Austen out of his state of shock, he had heard nothing that was said. He gave Twilight a confused stare. He looked at her hoof, then back at her. "Dafuq is that supposed to mean?" He asked. "Come on already, we haven't got all day!" she told him as she bit the bottom of his shirt, dragging him on his ass as she galloped. Along the way she let him go and helped  him up. Austen gave her a look of complete disapproval for what had just happened but he didn't say anything cause she had saved him from  those aggravated ponies. They walked in awkward silence till Twilight finally broke it. "I've read so much about your kind when I got bored one day.... It was so interesting..... Do you have any idea how you got here?" She questioned. Austen didn't know weather to take all that as a complement or regret ever hearing it. "Uhm... I have no clue..." He said awkwardly. "I just woke up here.." He didn't dare tell her that he was in a automobile accident, he wouldn't hear the end of the countless questions she'd have on how they work. "Wow, she really is socially awkward.."He thought to himself, humorously. Once Austen and Twi got to the Library they started their research. There was no time to waist. Especially sense Spike had gone to help Pinkie babysit the Cake twins. Austen tried as hard as he could to concentrate but, the longer they read the more impatient he grew. He eventually decided to take a brain break. "Goddamn it." he said. "This is taking forever.." "Wait... Here it is!!" Twilight jumped up and rushed over to Austen. ---- "So... You're telling me that I was sent through dimensions?" Austen asked Twi. "That's what it says here.." She replied with her face stuffed in a book. "How'd I pull that off? How do I get back? Can I get back?" Austen overwhelmed Twilight with questions that she couldn't answer. In all her time she had never read about anything like this! She was so excited to learn some new magic! But Austen was feeling something completely different. "I wonder If I'm ever going to see my family again, or if I'm ever going to see her again." He thought to himself. He didn't care that he was inside his favorite TV show, he just wanted one last chance to tell her what he felt for her. "I need a fucking smoke." He told Twilight as he walked out the door, slamming it as he left. Twilight suddenly felt bad for Austen. She put herself in his position. What if she were to be tossed through dimensions without warning, without saying goodbye to her loved ones. She closed her book, opened the door and walked outside. She sat next to Austen, who was sitting on the grass staring into the sky looking at the stars. (It took all day to find the very little information they have.) "Look..." she said. "I'm gonna find you a way home, I promise. Even if its the last thing I do, you will see your loved ones again..." Austen stood up and offered a hand to help Twilight up. "Then we best get started." He said. "Now you're talking!" She said as she grabbed his hand and they walked inside together, closing the door behind them. ---- The next morning Austen was woke by Spike, who was staring at him. Spike had just gotten home from Pinkies where he had stayed the night cause SOMEPONY did not pick him up. At first he was kind of angry at Twilight for skipping out on Pinkies party but now he saw why she had done it. "Woah..." Austen said, getting up off of a pile of books that he had made to sleep on so Twilight could sleep on her bed. "A real live dragon.." He said as he observed the speechless little creature. Spike rushed to the pile of books and started launching them at Austen, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO TWILIGHT YOU FOUL BEAST!!" He yelled as he continued to peg Austen with the countless number of books. "What the fuck!" Austen yelled, "I did nothing to Twilight!" "YEAH RIGHT YOU PROBABLY HAVE HER TRAPPED IN A DUNGEON SOMEWHERE!! WHERE IS SHE!!" Spike continued. "Spike?" Twilight  said walking in the room and witnessing this odd image. "Twilight?" Spike said, as he dropped all the books. "Oh thank Celestia, I thought something had happened to you!" Spike ran to Twi and gave her a big hug. Austen cleared his throat. (Ehem..) Spike again stared at Austen. Twilight made Spike apologize and the caught him up on the whole story. "Oh!" He said "Traveling through dimensions, I know where that is!" Spike said, quickly climbing his ladder and pulled a book off the almost empty book shelf. The book glowed purple and floated down right to Twilight. "Oh no..." Twilight said as she observed the old looking book. "What?" Austen asked curiously. Twilight put the book in his hands. The cover read, "Black Magic" "Fuck me right?" Austen said. "The only magic that can get me home is the magic that you would be crucified for doing." He griped. "Not only am I not allowed to do it but I can't.." Twi said. "Why not?" asked Spike. "Well, Black magic is the only type of magic that cant be done by Unicorn..It takes a Earth Pony that was raised in a long line of ponies that do black magic.." Twilight explained "Well..." Austen said. "Looks like I have to find myself a Pony who has Black magic in their blood." TO BE CONTINUED
