Where to begin? After reading other authors and their stories for years, I've always wanted to write my own fanfiction. I was never motivated or driven to tell a story, but I finally decided. This story culminates ideas in my mind for many months. I first started jotting down small words in a notes app on my phone and eventually put them into a Word document.
The story is short and sweet, but I wanted to flesh my characters out and give them depth. I wanted to display that through and through, nobody is perfect, and most suffer from some form of trauma, whether that be depression, mental disorder, death, or anything else. What we do about the trauma makes us who we are and how we overcome it.
Regarding the love story, I wanted to write something people could relate to. I’ve had many relationships and still haven’t found that one person for myself, but I know she’s there; It's just a matter of when. Writing about how my characters interact with one another is something I see many people dream of in a relationship to find that special connection and grow old together. True love is out there, and it may take some time to see it, but nothing comes easy in life, and love requires time, effort, and, of course, sacrifice.
Ultimately, I'm proud to say I wrote this fanfic and excited to write more. Readers can get from this story that you should always keep going. No matter how hard life gets or if you feel like you're about to give up, don't. Someone will always watch over and root for you to keep going.
If you read all of this to the end, thank you. I hope you enjoy the story.

"What a beautiful day," I said as I looked out the train window. That smell in the air, the breeze through my mane, the sun shining down.
"Yeah, this was going to be a fantastic day."
Ponyville was very different from Manehatten. It had a small-town feel, which I always loved. Don't get me wrong, I loved the city, but something just felt right here.
"Welcome to Ponyville," shouted the conductor. My stop has finally come.
I gathered my few bags and stepped off the train to be hit by a tremendous gust of wind from above. It was the Pegisi clearing the clouds for the sun to shine down. Being a Pegisi myself, I can always appreciate their work.
I went through the train station and onto the main path to town. "To Town Hall,” the sign read.
“That looks like an excellent place to start.”
I didn't have a plan when I got here; I hoped to find work and a place to stay before I got on my hooves. I trotted down the main street, where there was a crowded town. For a small town, there were many ponies out and about, all doing different jobs. I finally arrive at the town hall and open the doors to see the most beautiful mare I've ever seen.
