We open to a shot of the City of Ouroboros the day after it was rebuilt, some Serpentine warriors are fighting in the Slither pit just until a helicopter starts flying down to it, the Serpentine quickly get out of the way for it to land down, and one Serpentine quickly gets a seat and an umbrella out for Garmadon with a look of fear.

Garmadon walked out of the vehicle and to his seat and took a drink, and groaned a bit seeing how bright things are.
"It's so bright, I never understood how your kind could live in such heat." Garmadon said with disgust as the other generals slithered up to him.

"Lord Garmadon, what brings you to our humble dwelling?" Skalidor asked which made Garmadon start to explain his next plan he's come up with.

"The ninja may have destroyed my Mega Weapon, but I have an ingenious new plan!" Garmadon said sinisterly while Scales was questioning his leadership.

"Are we still allowing him to be in charge of us?" Scales asked Skalidor as he doesn't pose a threat to them in his opinion.

"Earlier, when Pirates mutinied our ship and locked us in the brig. Captain Soto's journal mentioned they've been looking for a fabled dark island, created by evil itself. Once we find it, it's concentrated dark powers will help me.. I mean.. us! We could Rule Ninjago together!" Garmadon announced which Scaled didn't believe.

"Oh please, we're chasing after fairy tails now?" Scales asked mockingly which made Garmadon upset.

"Not fairy tales, but at a real place that existed long before any of us were around! A place of untold power!" Garmadon explained which fascinated the generals.

"Untold power? Count me in!" Skalidor said with a smirk while Garmadon kept going on about this.

"A place dripping with evil!" Garmadon went on while the other generals were thinking over this.

"Evil sounds nice..." Skalidor hissed while Garmadon turned to the other generals.

"I'm looking for a few brave snakes, who will join me?" Garmadon asked which made the other generals raise they're staffs to show that they're in this which Scales didn't agree with. Garmadon and the generals soon went into the helicopter again and it took off to find the island in order to fulfill they're plan.

Back with Spike, Allison and the rest of the ninja, they were all trying to sleep after the wild adventure they had through time, while Spike will miss his Golden Weapon, it was for the best, and he's gonna try to unlock his own powers by himself now with the help of everyone else.

But everyone was soon woken up by a really loud alarm which annoyed everyone hearing it.
"Agh, make it stop!" Allison screamed while she tried putting her pillow over her face.

"Lloyd, can you get that?!" Spike shouted with frustration while he fell out of his bed. Lloyd didn't need to be told twice, and he used his power to quickly destroy the clock so they couldn't have to listen to it anymore.

"Oh thank Celestia.. we can think again.." Spike said with relief while the others groaned with annoyance from being woken up.

"Is it Wednesday already?" Lloyd asked tiredly while Allison was trying to wake up too.

"Sunrise exercises, I hate Sunrise exercise.." Jay said with an annoyed look while Wu was coming into the room.

"Good morning, morning, morning! Up up!" Wu announced with a happy look while Spike shook his head a bit.

"It's a new day students, before we begin our sunrise exercise, I've notice the dragon made another mess outside, it looks like a, two person job." Wu instructed while he opened the curtains and left them alone.

"Nope, Allison and I need to get done with more training!" Spike quickly announced while he dragged Allison out of the room with her.

"Me and my dad have a lot we have to do, sorry guys!" Allison shouted while the others were trying to bail out to leave it to Lloyd.

"Lloyd, haha I'm sure you've got this." Jay suggested while he looked annoyed.

"Ugh you guys may have dumped chores on me when I was little, but I'm grown up now, so are Spike and Allison, that's not fair!" Lloyd argued as he stopped them from leaving the room.

"Don't think your the only one who's still getting used to being old Lloyd, must I remind you that Allison literally got aged up from a baby to a teenager in a single night, while I'm technically the oldest of the group now?" Spike reminded while Allison looked at herself.

"I still can't believe that my dad and I are older like this now.." Allison said sadly as she missed being a small baby Spike could take care of.

"Don't worry Spike, we'll settle this like men.. with an old round of Rock, Paper, Clamp!" Kai announced playfully while he and the others raised they're fists.

"Eh, sounds good to me." Spike replied with a smile while he, Allison and Lloyd put they're hands together with the others.

"Okay, one three, 1, 2, 3!" Kai shouted as all of them drew they're hands, and everyone beat Lloyd with paper while he drew rock.

"Haha! Paper beats rock!" Jay shouted with victory while Lloyd groaned in annoyance.

"How does paper beat rock?" Lloyd asked with an annoyed look as we cut to him taking care of some dirty stuff thanks to Ultra Dragon.

"I always get stuck with the dirty work, at least Spike helps me from time to time." Lloyd said with disgust while the others stayed far away from him.

"I'm willing to help out whenever I can, but for this, no thank you." Spike said as he had his arms crossed.

"Hey, having a pet dragon requires a lot of responsibility guys. " Cole advised while he looked at they're pet dragon.

"Didn't your mom ever teach you how to take care of a pet?" Jay asked with worry which made Lloyd look down sadly.

"I don't remember my mother, she abandoned me when I was really young." Lloyd said sadly which was concerning to them.

"She just left? Who took care of you then?" Kai asked while he and Spike went up to him.

"I spent my whole life at Darkly's Boarding School." Lloyd answered while Spike patted his back.

"It's okay Lloyd, I know how it is, I was raised by Twilight my whole life before I came here, I never got answers as to who my own parents are, but I've learned to be grateful with what I have now. I've got Allison and you guys with me, what more do I need then that?" Spike asked which made them concerned for him too.

"Don't worry Spike, I'm sure someday we'll find out who your family is too. I'm glad someone understands me at least." Lloyd said gratefully just until the alarm went off which got they're attention.

"Hey, I have a mission for you guys! It's the Museum of History, something really strange has happened!" Nya announced with a worried look while she ran down to them.

"What is it Nya?" Allison asked with worry while Nya tried moving things along.

"Your gonna have to see it to believe it!" Nya replied which made everyone quickly take off.

"Here Nya, hold this!" Lloyd advised while he handed her the dirty bag and glasses before running off.

"What am I supposed to do with these?" Nya asked with a confused look until she heard Ultra Dragon next to her, and that's when she realized what this was.

"Oh.. gross..." Nya said with disgust while she looked away from the bag.

Spike and everyone else quickly made it to the Museum to see what's going on, it sounded really worrying and the all had to hurry up to see what's wrong. Everyone soon made it to the museum where the owner was already waiting outside to meet them all.
"Oh thank heavens your here!" He said with relief as Wu and everyone else was finally here.

"We heard there was an emergency?" Wu asked with concern while he started leading them through the halls.

"Yes, yes come quickly! The Stone Warrior exhibit opens to the public tonight, and this couldn't have come at a worse time!" He said with a worried look.

"What happened exactly sir?" Allison hissed while she slithered near Spike.

"Ninjago appreciates your help in destroying the Great Devourer sometime back, but it appears it's toxic venom has seeped into the City's sewer system, creating the most, unusual after affect." He explained while everyone groaned in disgust from seeing some of the venom in front of them.

"Oh that stinks!" Cole said with disgust while he quickly went past them.

"I'm not bothered by it honestly, being a snake has it's benefits I guess." Allison said with a shrug while they were brought into a merch shop, and to everyone's shock, they saw that almost all of the merchandise was brought back to life!

"What the heck?!" Spike asked with shock as all of them were destroying the entire room.

"It appears that the venom somehow brought our merchandise to life! They're so unruly! I just didn't know who else to call!" The owner said with worry while everyone went into the room to deal with this.

"We've got this covered, I think we can handle a few toys!" Jay said proudly while Spike drew a normal trident he got to replace his Golden Weapon.

"And please, could you contain the fighting in the to the gift shop? The doors to the new exhibit will be opening soon, thank you." The owner said gratefully before he closed the door to let them deal with this.

"Alright, who's first?!" Allison hissed while she used her spear to shatter multiple toys at once to destroy them, Spike twirled his trident around and slammed it down with his Earth powers to shatter more of them at once.

"At least I can still use my powers!" Spike said with relief while he charged up some lightning in his hand before he shot them around the room to deal with more of them, while he can use his powers still, it's far weaker then what he used to have, but he'll find a way to get stronger without his Golden Weapon soon hopefully.

"Alright guys, let's wrap this up, Ninja go!!" Kai screamed as he and the other ninja used Spinjitzu to take care of things.

"Guys wait, your destroying the entire room!" Allison warned as the place was being trashed from they're moves, but it was too late before they came out of Spinjitzu and soon saw the after affects.

"Uh.. oops.." Zane said nervously while Spike slapped his face. But Wu had taken notice of one more of the freaky toys was still alive, and he quickly ran after it as it ran through the halls.

"Come here you little..!" Wu shouted with annoyance before he finally slammed his foot down on the thing to destroy it for good.

Wu sighed with relief as this was over finally, but before he was about to leave, a door opened from behind him, and a familiar woman he knew came into his sights, and he instantly recognized who it was.

"Misako?" Wu asked with shock while she turned to him with a small smile.

"Wu, it's been a long time." Misako replied while Spike and the others were catching up with Wu finally.

"Do you know her Wu?" Spike asked curiously while everyone looked at her.

"Yeah, you gonna introduce us or something Wu?" Jay asked curiously while Wu cleared his throat to drop this bombshell on them.

"Uh yes.. this is.. Misako.. Lloyd's.. mother." Wu revealed which made everyone gasp with shock.

"Wow, talk about an out of nowhere reveal." Allison said with surprise while Lloyd was in shock seeing this.

"M.. My.. mother?" Lloyd asked with a shocked look while Misako gasped with surprise seeing him all grown up, and with the Green Ninja suit no less.

"Lloyd? My little boy.. your so much bigger then I remember.." Misako said as Lloyd was trying to process how to handle this.

"Yeah well.. it's been a long time!" Lloyd said with a spiteful look as he was upset with her leaving him alone for so long.

"I didn't want us to meet like this, I have a reason I've been away.." Misako replied while Lloyd needed to leave.

"Well I don't wanna hear it!" Lloyd said with anger as he was leaving them alone.

"Lloyd wait, please!" Misako begged before a door slam was heard which left them all alone, and Spike rubbed his neck nervously and tried figuring out what to do.

"This day just got a lot more complicated..." Spike said with a nervous look on what they need to do now.

However, far off with Garmadon and the generals, they were searching far off into the sea to find the Dark Island, but Garmadon hasn't found anything when they've been searching all afternoon.
"The endless sea, I don't get it!" Garmadon said with shock while Scales was wanting to go home now.

"It's because there is no land outside of Ninjago, we've been searching all day." Scales reminded while he slithered up behind them.

"The island must be out there! We'll do another lap!" Garmadon said while he turned to the pilot of the vehicle they're on.

"He's without his Mega Weapon, he's vulnerable." Scales whispered while he turned to the other generals.

"So how do you recommend getting rid of him?" Skalidor asked with a curious look as they were sick of Garmadon's harsh treatments of them by now.

"Turn around, we need to find the island today!" Garmadon ordered the captain who turned the helicopter around quickly.

"Yes Lord Garmadon!" He said respectfully while he went to do what he was told, and Scales saw this as his opportunity to get rid of Garmadon for good.

"Ooh, there! Is that the island?!" Scales asked sarcastically which got Garmadon's attention.

"Where?!" Garmadon asked hopefully while he looked out near the ledge to find it, but Scales finally used that as an opportunity to kick him off the helicopter, and Garmadon screamed as he went falling down into the sea which may never end with what little there is outside of Ninjago.

"It's about time we had a Serpentine back in charge, all hail Scales!" Skalidor announced while the generals bowed to him respectfully which made Scales laugh like a maniac while they flew back home, leaving Garmadon to float across the endless sea to die..

Back at the museum with Spike and the others, they were searching for where Lloyd went off to in order to talk things out with him, Spike could understand Lloyd with how he's feeling right now, as his mother had just come back into his life without any leads to where she was, and they all had a lot to talk about for sure.
"Lloyd, Lloyd?" Misako asked through the halls while they looked around for him, and Spike soon saw Lloyd through another door just ahead of him.

"There he is guys. Let's be quiet on this one." Spike advised which everyone agreed to. Lloyd was sitting near an endless pit from the looks of it, while in front of some ancient paintings that looked to predict something incredibly important.

"I'd watch your step, that sinkhole has no bottom son, that's where I found the Stone Warrior." Misako advised while Lloyd wasn't wanting to hear any of this.

"Son? You've been gone my whole life! There's nothing you can say." Lloyd said with an upset look while he didn't look at her.

"Well.. I'm going to try to anyway. You wanna know what I've been doing all this time? Long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would be the Green Ninja, I knew it would be you. I knew you would have to fight against your father with your dragon friend, Spike. I didn't want that kind of pressure put on you at such a young age, I had no choice but to drop you off at the Boarding School, it was the only place I could find that could serve as a home for you, it was so I could learn everything about the prophecy. And hoped that one day that I could prevent the final battle of good and evil." Misako explained while Spike came into the room with concern.

"Did you know that I would come to this world somehow?" Spike asked with surprise while he stood near Lloyd.

"I've seen you in scrolls that depict the prophecy, you and my son were meant to fight against Garmadon from the beginning, but I've been trying to save my son and husband from this happening, I didn't know if you were to come to this world, but from the looks of it, you've been around here for a while, haven't you?" Misako asked while she took a closer look at him.

"Uh.. yeah, I've been here with the others for months at this point, but what was so important that you had to go and leave your son behind for most of his life? What were you looking at that left Lloyd alone for so long?" Spike asked as he was upset about Misako leaving Lloyd alone for so long too.

"It's because I researched some very important history, stuff that very few people know about. Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master." Misako explained while she went to the special scrolls they could see in front of them.

"Yeah yeah, we've heard this story a hundred times. " Lloyd said with a dismissive look, but Misako had to go on to explain what it was that's so important.

"But you've only heard half of it. In Ninjago, there has always been a balance between good and evil, so you now how the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago. But what if I were to tell you that in order for there to be light, there must be shadow, and within shadow, there is darkness.." Misako said as she was telling them a chilling tale of Ninjago's darker history.

"The blackest of darkness, that existed from the very beginning. An Evil Spirit, called.. the Overlord..." Misako revealed as everyone could see his spirit on the scrolls.

"Did you know about this sensei?" Zane asked with worry while he looked at Wu.

"I had hoped that if I had kept the secret.. that name would never be spoken again.." Wu said regretfully while Allison shook her head.

"And how much more is there that your keeping secret from us that you'll have to reveal to us when we least expect it?" Allison asked with an annoyed look, she had a feeling that Wu would be doing this to them VERY often in the future.

But they all soon turned back to Misako to keep listening to this story, as it was super important for them to hear.
"The balance was at stake, and their battle could have gone on for eternity. But neither side could conquer the other, until the Overlord created his indestructible warriors: The Stone Army." Misako continued as we see the fated battle the Spinjitzu Master had to face all on his own.

"The Spinjitzu Master did what he could, but he knew he would soon be defeated. So instead of losing the war, he divided Ninjago in two, and lucky for us, there has been no trace of the Overlord or his Stone Army. Until my recent discovery." Misako finished which was a lot for them to process.

"Wow.. that is.. a lot to take in.. so your really saying that the battle.. was never finished in the first place?" Spike asked with worry to hear all of this.

"And where is this Dark Island? I've never heard of it?" Cole asked with fear to hear this too.

"Disappeared I presume, but the legend states that so long as the balance between good an evil remains even, the Overlord shall remain trapped from this world. I have always feared your father's ambition will always lead to a shift in the balance, that is why you and your dragon friend must stop him." Misako answered which was very concerning for all of them.

"We've each felt the powers of the First Spinjitzu Master, passed onto us in the form of the Elemental Weapons. But now that power has been inherited by the Green Ninja and Spike, and it is why only they can defeat the ultimate evil. " Wu said while looking at Spike and Lloyd, he didn't know that Spike would have to be involved in this at all when he first arrived, but now that he's here, with what he's been through with them, it's obvious by now that he's meant to take on this fight with Lloyd in the future.

"So it's really up to me and Lloyd then, isn't it?" Spike asked with fear while he looked at his claws, he could feel some power still, but it's not as strong as before, and they needed to find a way to prepare for this fated battle.

"Leaving Lloyd alone was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but faced with you and saving the world, I had no other choice." Misako said with regret which finally made Lloyd understand what needs to be done.

"So my dad and Lloyd will have to face Garmadon at some point to prevent the balance from shifting?" Allison asked while she slithered next to Spike.

"I see no other option as of now, while Spike coming to this world may be unexpected to us, for fate, he may have been prophesized to do this long before any of us were around." Misako answered while Spike was in shock to know this.

"So that may be why the Crystal Mirror acted up in the first place.. there must've been an outside force trying to bring me to Ninjago so I can fulfill it alongside Lloyd. You think it was the Spinjitzu Master himself?" Spike asked with worry as he still remembers the day he was sucked into it.

"It could've been, after all, he may have been the one who gave you your Golden Weapon and helped you get better control of your powers, so it's possible he had a hand in this." Wu answered which was shocking for all of them to hear.

"So.. I really did have something in store for me.. even if it meant I had to leave my home to do so.." Spike said with guilt while he's very worried for Twilight and his friends.

"It's okay dad.. we'll find a way to stop this soon.. I promise." Allison assured while she gave him another hug which did make him smile a bit.

"So, have you found a way to stop me and Spike from facing my father?" Lloyd asked with a hopeful look.

"I'm sorry, not yet. But I have reason to believe there is still hope." Misako said hopefully until a loud crash was heard from behind them, everyone gasped with fear as they saw a huge stone monster burst through the doors behind them, and it was huge!

"Whoa! Excuse me, will someone please tell me, WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" Jay shouted with terror as they saw the four armed monster roar at them.

"The Stone Warrior." Misako said with fear as it was just stone when she found it.

"The Devourer's venom has awakened him!" Zane concluded which was bad news for all of them.

"Oh great, Kai take care of him!" Cole advised which made Kai look scared.

"Uh me?" Kai asked with fear while the monster was speaking to them in a strange language.

"Kai don't, if that things indestructible, it'll just shatter your sword!" Spike warned while Kai was about to try and fight it off, but Spike's warning was something that stopped him from doing it.

"Wait, Spike's right, why should I be the one to do it?!" Kai asked with an annoyed look to Cole who tried answering that.

"The Overlord created his Stone Army with an indestructible material, only found on the Dark Island!" Misako shouted as all of them were backing up in fear.

"Enough with the exposition dropping already! " Allison said with annoyance while the monster was marching into the room to attack them.

"Lloyd, Spike, use your powers on it!" Wu instructed to them which made them look at the warrior with anger.

"Alright.. let's see if this works!!" Spike screamed as he was charging up all his powers into him at once, he's tried getting a better hang of this without his Golden Weapon now that it's gone, and he's gotten somewhat decent with it. Lloyd charged up his powers too, and he used his powers of Energy to destroy the monster.

"Now!!" Lloyd screamed while he and Spike shot their blasts at the monster which created a large explosion which seemed to have destroyed the creature for good which made the others cheer for them.

"Way to go daddy!" Allison cheered while everyone high fived the two of them. But they're victory was cut short as the monster emerged through the green fire and other elements, and it roared at them all with anger since it only made things worse for them.

"If.. Spike and Lloyd's powers don't work on it.. how are we gonna destroy this thing?!" Cole asked with fear while everyone was backing up.

"You can't.." Misako said with terror which only left them with one option. Kai and the rest of the ninja tried using what they had in order to push the thing back, but the Stone Warrior was far too strong to have any harm come to it, and it only threw all of them out of the hall and into the larger exhibits as a result.

"Incoming!!" Spike screamed with terror while he and the others crashed into the walls in the other room.

"This is gonna be much harder then a bunch of bottle heads fellas." Cole said weakly while Allison helped him up.

"Then it's a good thing we're in a museum.." Jay said with fear while he looked ahead into the room again.

"Why is that?" Misako asked with worry while the Stone Warrior was bursting through the walls.

"Because we're all about to become history! RUN!!!" Jay screamed with terror which made everyone quickly run through they're lives through the halls.

"I wish I could turn invisible right now! How come Pythor got to do that?!" Allison asked with annoyance while the monster was bursting down the walls to chase after them.

"He was far more experienced with being an Anacondrai Allison, don't forget you still are getting used to being older! We'll find a way to help you learn that at a later date!" Zane shouted while she slithered right next to him.

"If there will be one for us!" Allison screamed as the monster was right behind them.

"The guy's got a pair of sneakers on him, pick up the pace! Go go go!" Lloyd screamed which made all of them try to run even faster.

"This way!" Spike shouted as they ran up the stairs in order to get to higher ground, but the Stone Warrior was not slowing down, and it kept chasing after them no matter where they went.

"Oh man, he's pretty fast for a big guy!" Kai shouted as they were all running into the dinosaur exhibit again, everyone quickly ran inside and closed the doors on the warrior to buy some time, and the Stone Warrior started slashing it's four swords through it to break through.

"This thing is unstoppable!" Cole shouted with fear as the place was shaking from it's strength.

"Indestructible to be precise!" Zane corrected while Jay had one last option they could do.

"Then let's settle this like men. With Rock, Paper, Clamp! The loser has to face him, so everyone else can escape!" Jay declared which everyone reluctantly agreed with. Lloyd was about to go in to join this, but Jay had quickly pulled him out of it.

"Not you Chosen One, you and Spike are too important for this." Jay advised while everyone got ready to do this.

"On three. One.. two.." Kai counted down just until Lloyd finally realized what he needs to do.

"Wait a minute, that's it!" Lloyd said with surprise as he remembered what he was told earlier.

"What's it?" Wu asked with a confused look.

"If you guys can stall him, I think I know how to stop him. I'm gonna need Spike's help for this." Lloyd announced which made the others look at eachother with worry.

"I'd.. say we give the kid a shot." Cole answered which made Jay role his eyes.

"Your just saying that because your too afraid to face him!" Jay mocked which made Cole come up with a comeback.

"Do you wanna face him?" Cole asked as the monster was bursting through which made Jay go back on that statement.

"I say we give the kid a shot." Jay replied while Lloyd noticed a nearby vent they can use.

"Alright, Spike let's go!" Lloyd shouted as he was running ahead to it which made Spike follow behind.

"Right behind you, and if any of you are responsible for Allison getting hurt, I will make you regret it!" Spike warned which made the ninja gulp with fear hearing that.

"Don't mess with my dad." Allison said with a smirk while Lloyd opened up the vent so they can get out of here.

"Be careful you two, and good luck." Misako encouraged while Spike crawled into it with Lloyd.

"Thanks mom, be safe." Lloyd replied as he and Spike went to do what Lloyd was planning out.

"I can't believe he's Lord Garmadon's son... and Spike's gonna have to face Garmadon alongside him soon.." Misako said with worry which made Wu try to calm her down.

"Don't forget, Lloyd's your son too. Spike's handled being with us for some time now, I'm sure he'll be able to push through this too." Wu advised which gave her some hope that this could be true.

"They've had a good teacher." Misako said as she looked to him with a smile once again.

"You mean, teachers, and a daughter." Wu corrected while he looked at Allison and the other Ninja.

However, after Garmadon was thrown out into the sea, he washed up on a island far off from Ninjago, while some would think he was dead, he somehow survived as his body was twitching from waking up. Garmadon groaned with pain after he finally woke up from being tossed into the sea by Scales, and he soon looked around the island he was on to find out where he is.

But as he was trying to find out where he is, he started to hear a strange.. incredibly sinister voice from the shadows who was watching over him from the trees.
"Ah... I've been waiting for you..." The voice greeted sinisterly while Garmadon was trying to process where he is.

"Who are you, where are you?! What is this place? Where am I? This isn't Ninjago!" Garmadon asked all at once while he looked over the deserted island he was on.

"This is the place.. you were always meant to find.. Destiny brought you here.." The voice answered with a sinister tone which finally made Garmadon realize where he was.

"This.. this is the Dark Island! The one mentioned in Captain Soto's log! But.. who are you?" Garmadon asked as he's someone he hasn't heard of before.

"I have gone by many names.. but you can call me.. Overlord..." Overlord answered which was very bad news for Ninjago if he's still around.

"I.. I order you to give me the power to defeat the Ninja, and a pesky dragon that came here from another world! Give me the power to turn Ninjago, into my own image!" Garmadon ordered the Overlord who only laughed mockingly hearing that from him.

"Why do you laugh at me?!" Garmadon asked with an annoyed look.

"Soon.. you will have everything you desire.. but first.. there is something you must do for me..." Overlord said as he finally revealed himself as a strange floating orb of sorts with dark power coming from all around him.

"And what would that be? " Garmadon asked with a confused look.

We cut back to the museum where the others were trying to figure out what to do. Spike and Lloyd made they're way to the exhibit where Misako explained Ninjago's history, and they were starting to do they're plan in order to stop this monster to save the others.
"You sure this will work Lloyd? How do we know this pit really is bottomless?" Spike asked as he pulled out a long plate of white paper before he spread it out to the floor.

"It's gotta work, if the Stone Warrior doesn't realize that this is just paper, he'll fall into the pit and won't come back out. It's where he was found in the first place after all." Lloyd answered as he was using some paint to make it look like the floors around them.

Spike could see Lloyd was still thinking over all they've learned today, and it was definitely a lot they need to take in right now.
"Lloyd, I gotta ask, how do you feel about what we've learned here? About us having to face Garmadon? As much as we've tried, we've only begun getting closer to the battle as a result, with us and Allison being turned older, to learning about the Overlord and the Dark Island. It's a lot, but.. how do you feel about it?" Spike asked with concern which made Lloyd think over it.

"It's a lot honestly, I never thought you and I would have to do something like this, especially with me being the Green Ninja, but if you came to this world because it was prophesized, then there can be hope that we'll be able to stop my father right?" Lloyd asked hopefully as he finished up with the painting quickly.

" I guess so, but it makes me wonder just what I'll become if I unlock my true potential like the others, I can use they're powers sure, but I feel like there's something more out there for me that will make me stand out. But.. I'm just worried about what it will mean. All of this has happened to us so suddenly, and now we learn that there's a fated battle we can't avoid, you may be able to handle it, but for me, I.. just don't know how to handle it.." Spike said as he was helping Lloyd put the cover over the pit quickly.

"Who say's I'm handling it without trouble? You and I are both in this together Spike, you, me and Allison being aged up is huge for both of us, we're practically needing to keep everyone in Ninjago safe at this point, if we lose, all of Ninjago may be gone forever, and if we don't stop my father, he could go to your world at another point soon too.." Lloyd said with fear which Spike was dreading.

" It really is up to us to stop Garmadon is it? Even if Misako tries to find a way around this, we'll have to do it soon, won't we?" Spike asked with worry while they looked at the ancient drawings in front of them.

"It is, I know it's a lot for us, but we have the others by our side. My father may be trying to avoid this fight too, but we all know it'll have to come one day, as much as we don't want it too. But it's for the fate of Ninjago, and once the battle is over, who knows what'll come next. Just know we aren't alone in this Spike, we have our friends here for us." Lloyd reminded once more as they could hear loud roars from just outside of the exhibit.

"I hope your right on this Lloyd, I'm glad to have you as a friend." Spike said proudly as they saw Misako trying to run from the Stone Warrior.

"Over here!" Lloyd announced as he and Spike were finally finished up with the trap.

"Lloyd, Spike!" Misako said with relief while she ran to them while the monster was charging into the room to finish things off.

"Hey loser! Paper beats rock!" Lloyd shouted to the monster while Spike got in a defensive stance. The Stone Warrior charged at them in order to finish them, but as it sliced it's swords at them, Lloyd grabbed Misako and jumped out of harms way while Spike did a high jump and flipped over the monster with skill, Spike landed ahead of the thing as it stumbled right into they're trap.

And before the monster could try and fight back, the paper beneath him collapsed due to his weigh, and the Stone Warrior screamed as he went falling into the bottomless pit for good.
"Of course.. the bottomless pit.." Misako said with surprise while they looked down at the pit.

"How that thing will get out of there is beyond me, I just hope it doesn't." Spike prayed while he high fived Lloyd. Allison and everyone else finally caught up with everyone else, and Spike went up to hug Allison with joy while Lloyd finally settled things with his mother.

"I'm so proud of you. I feel like the balance has brought us together." Misako said proudly while Lloyd took off his mask and smiled with joy hearing that.

"You did great dad, I'm so glad to have you as my father.." Allison said proudly while they turned to the two of them.

"And I'm glad to have you as my daughter." Spike said proudly while Wu went up to Misako.

"Stay with us, help us fight the good fight." Wu offered which Misako was glad to accept.

"If that's okay with my son." Misako said while she turned back to him.

"Hey, the more the merrier." Lloyd said with a smile which made her hug him closely again, and Spike just smiled proudly seeing his friend finally find his mother again, he just hoped that one day, he'll know the truth of his parents too..

However, far away on the island Garmadon ended up on, he was being led by the Overlord to a special place to show him what he needs.
"How much further?" Garmadon asked while he was pushing through the trees and bushes.

"Until I say so.. you do want to turn all of Ninjago into your own image, don't you?" Overlord asked as he could see him from above.

"Of course, it's all I've ever wanted!" Garmadon shouted as he finally came into a large opening where a strange pillar was there waiting to be unlocked.

"Four hands... is that a coincidence?" Garmadon asked while he looked at his own four hands.

"I told you, it is Destiny... " Overlord answered while he moved all over the island in the shadows.

"Whatever." Garmadon said with an annoyed look before he finally turned around, he put his four arms on the switches and turned them around to finally unlock the secrets of this island.

This started to make the ground shake over the entire island, dark clouds and sharp stone mountains began to emerge from below the sea while lava could be seen coming from them. The island soon grew from a small place far off from Ninjago, into the second half of the land that the Overlord had taken over so long ago. The small island Garmadon was on, turned out to be a much smaller piece to the enormous Dark Island that was only spoken of in legend, everything about this place showed the dark corruption it has. Barely anything about it resembled Ninjago, and soon enough, the Dark Island had finally fully awakened, being able to be seen from far above as a parallel to Ninjago.

Garmadon looked around the Dark Island with awe, it was everything he had hoped it would be, and the Overlord came behind him again to let him know of the fated battle.
"The ultimate battle, between good and evil.. has been foretold.. and with your help.. we.. will rule this world!" Overlord shouted with malice. This made Garmadon laugh with evilly, he had never felt so much joy in his life from finally uncovering this island. Garmadon laughed like a maniac as he looked to the sky, the fated battle was approaching closer, and how it ends remains to be told soon..

This is where season 2 of Ninjago really picks up now, Spike, Lloyd, Allison and the rest of the ninja will have a lot they need to deal with in these next chapters, I have a lot that needs to be done still, but this second half of season 2 is something I'm looking forward to, I just hope you liked what this has and let me know what you think of it please.

Also I have quick request for you guys, I was hoping if someone would help find a cover art I can use for this story, while there isn't much out there I can find for Spike and Ninjago.
