Around a day has passed since Ninjago City was attacked by the Stone Warriors, and everyone had to evacuate due to the threat being too big to stop as of now, everyone was on the edge for now knowing that the battle between good and evil is getting even closer now that this has happened, and they've tried preparing for the battle when it comes.

But while everyone was trying to fix the Bounty after the heavy damage it took, Spike and Zane were looking out into the sea and could see a strange large island in the distance that they've never seen before.
"I don't think that's been seen whenever we flew across the sea on the Bounty, what is that place?" Spike asked with concern while Zane put his telescope down while Wu was next to them.

"I have never seen a place like that, what is it master Wu?" Zane asked with worry while Wu had an idea on what it was.

"I believe it is the Dark Island you two, the second half of Ninjago that the Spinjitzu Master split apart. And what's more concerning about this, is that after the city was attacked, the Stone Warrior's that did it, have mysteriously vanished." Wu said with concern which gave Spike an idea.

"What if they went to that island somehow? They could be working for Garmadon." Spike suggested which was very worrying.

"I fear that may be the case, but what's most important right now Spike, is that we need to find out what's on that island." Wu said as he was looking out to the sea too to see the dark clouds surrounding it.

"Perhaps my falcon can see what's on it." Zane said as he sent the falcon to fly off to the island to see what's on it.

"Do you think it'll be able to fly for that long?" Spike asked as it was a very long way to reach it.

"It was able to handle the long chase we had with it some time ago before we found my home, I'm sure it'll find it's way there without much trouble." Zane replied which Spike hoped was true.

"Let's hope so." Spike prayed as they started heading to see what's going on with the others.

Allison and the rest of the ninja were trying to repair the Bounty after it was badly damaged, while Allison's hand was still broken for now, she wasn't gonna let that stop her, but no matter how hard she tried, the booster's just didn't look to be working anymore.
"Ugh, the Bounty's taken too much damage, the booster's are almost beyond repair.." Allison said with regret while the others were trying to figure this out too.

"I was afraid of this.. sorry guys, it looks like the Bounty's not gonna fly anytime soon." Nya said regretfully to the others who were upset hearing this.

"So if the Stone Army attacks again, we'll be sitting ducks." Cole replied which Jay found confusing.

"Uh, ducks can fly Cole." Jay reminded which they just ignored.

"Not the best time for this Jay, we're in a much harder situation right now." Allison said as she carefully climbed back down to find Spike again.

"Allison's right, we couldn't even push them back when they attacked, I hate feeling helpless!" Kai said with frustration just as Spike arrived with Zane and Wu again.

"We mustn't give up hope." Wu said while they didn't feel too convinced with that.

"But you saw it, the Stone Army were barely affected by us, all Spike and I could do was slow them down." Lloyd reminded while Spike tried using his Lightning powers again.

"Even if I'm getting a better hang of using my powers without a Golden Weapon, I don't think we'll be able to stop them if I can fully use them.." Spike said with guilt while Allison patted his back.

"It's okay dad.. there's got to be a way.." Allison said hopefully just as Misako was coming up with another scroll with her.

"There actually might be a way, the scrolls say there may just be a way to defeat them." Misako announced which got everyone's attention.

Everyone went to the bridge in the Bounty to look over the scrolls, and they saw a very ancient looking drawing that had 6 figures on it, it looked like a depiction of Lloyd and Spike gaining a special kind of power with the help of the other four ninja.
"The prophecy states that the power to defeat them lies in the Green Ninja, and from the looks of it, it could be you as well Spike." Misako informed which they all found interesting.

"How was I even prophesized to come here when I'm from a completely different world?" Spike asked with surprise as he looked at it closer.

"Leave that up for the future I guess." Allison replied while Misako continued on.

"From what I've gathered, the true power of you and Lloyd, can only be unlocked when they're four protectors find they're own pure elemental power." Misako informed again which made Cole hopeful.

"Are we the protectors?" Cole asked hopefully which Jay scoffed at.

"Of course it is, who else would it be? It.. is us right?" Jay asked hopefully as he didn't want any sudden surprises.

"If we are the protectors, then we're doomed, our Golden Weapons don't exist anymore, and we can't tap into our powers without them." Zane reminded which was true.

"But the power does still exist within each of you. And there is a way to unlock them, we must go to the Temple of Light." Misako informed once again.

"Temple of Light? What is that?" Nya asked as Misako pulled out another scroll.

"The gold from the Golden Weapons were formed in the Golden Peaks, but they were forged within the Temple of Light. A Powerful place that was thought only to exist in legend." Misako said as they saw a special map of the temple where the lines of Elemental powers were all aligning with eachother.

"It is on the Dark Island?" Wu asked with a hopeful look.

"I believe it may be our only choice." Misako replied which sounded like a good plan.

"So we get our powers back?! Alright!" Cole cheered while Spike looked hopeful knowing this.

"I wonder what kind of power I'd get on my own if we find it?" Spike asked with interest as they have a small chance at this.

"But there's still one problem, the Bounty can't fly." Nya reminded again which made Misako think of something.

"It's a ship right? Can't it sail?" Misako asked as the camera pins out to a whole shot of the Bounty as it is a ship after all.

"Silly question, of course it can! Right?" Jay asked nervously as they all had an idea on what to do now.

After everyone came up with this plan, they managed to have the Bounty be moved onto the water near the beach where everyone was here to give them a goodbye for now, and wishing that they'd defeat Garmadon. Spike and Allison were watching everyone say they're goodbye's to their family's for now, and it just made Spike wish he had his friends here.
"You alright dad?" Allison asked as she and Spike were heading to the Bounty since they didn't have much to say goodbye too here.

"I'm okay Allison, I just.. really wish Twilight and everyone else was here to see this, while they'd definitely want to come with us if they were here, I'm completely on my own without them, I've.. been without them for a while now, I just have to wonder what they would've thought of me doing something like this?" Spike asked with worry which only made Allison chuckle a bit knowing what she's heard of them.

"Bet they'd probably be scared out of they're minds knowing your heading to such a dangerous place, and the fact you have an Anacondrai daughter like me with you, how do you think they'd react to you being a dad if we ever see them?" Allison asked which made Spike think over it, and he smiled lightly think of it.

"Twilight may almost have a heart attack seeing your a snake.. and the fact that I got aged up to being almost over 16, it.. would be a lot to explain for sure.." Spike said sadly as he doesn't know how he could tell them this.

"Do you.. think we'll ever even be able to find them after all this is over? Or if there's even a way to Equestria?" Allison asked with worry as there wasn't a current way to get to it right now.

"Maybe one day, even if it takes years, I'll at least still have you and everyone else with me, right?" Spike asked with a smile as they looked over the people cheering them on.

"Of course dad, we'll put a stop to this, we have to." Allison said as they hugged eachother again and took in this moment before setting out on such a dangerous quest.

But while everyone was saying they're goodbye's, Zane was feeling lonely as he didn't have anyone to say goodbye too either, and Wu was able to take notice of this too.
"Is there anyone you'd like to say goodbye to?" Wu asked with concern while Zane just felt sad still.

"The only family I've ever known is my falcon, my only memory of my father was merely erased. I will miss Ninjago since it's all I've known, but I am excited to see what's in store for the future." Zane replied which Wu could understand.

"Well my Nindroid friend, there are a few people who'd like to say goodbye to you." Wu said as he motioned to a lot of fangirls who really admired him the most out of the group.

"Don't worry Zane, we'll be with you every step of the way." Spike assured as he went up to him again while they all looked over the people of Ninjago.

"Pupils, it's time we set sail from Ninjago!" Wu announced as the rest of the ninja were finally getting on the Bounty to leave. Everyone then raised up the sail, and the Bounty soon started sailing off into the sea so they can head to the Dark Island while the people watched them all leave.

"Jay! Did you make sure to pack clean underwear?!" Edna shouted one last time which made Jay really embarrassed.

"Yes! Mom..." Jay said as he slapped his face with embarrassment which made everyone laugh as they heard that.

"Stay safe! all of you!" Spike said as they all finally took off from Ninjago and headed out into the large sea ahead of them.

Everyone proceeded to sail across the sea for almost the rest of the day after all of this happened, and by now, the sun was setting across the horizon as they were trying to reach the Dark Island. Everyone was watching the waves go by together as they all had plenty of time to spend together knowing how far the island is.
"We still have a long time ahead of us." Wu said with a smile as they hoped to reach it in time.

But Zane was currently coming out of the ship with a worried look right now, and Cole was the first one to take notice of this.
"Still no word from your falcon?" Cole asked with concern while Zane was very worried.

"Not yet." Zane replied as he joined up with everyone who was worried about what's ahead of them.

"I wonder what's on the island?" Kai asked while they tried thinking of what's on their.

"An entirely new ecosystem?" Zane suggested while the others thought over this too.

"Never before seen creatures?" Cole added while Jay got a strange idea.

"Ohh, vegetables that taste like dessert?" Jay asked hopefully which made Spike shake his head.

"I highly doubt that Jay.." Spike replied as they could see the dark clouds ahead of them.

"I hope the Stone Army's there, they may have gotten the best of us once, but never again." Kai declared which everyone agreed with.

"Oh I'll definitely get back at the one that broke my hand, count on that." Allison hissed as she was gonna be sure to get back for that later.

"But.. I wonder if this is the end of our destiny's?" Lloyd asked with concern as he thought over it.

"If it is, there isn't anyone else I'd want by my side." Kai said as they all were in this together.

"I don't think this will be the end of our journey's guys, something tells me.. that this.. may just be the beginning of something far bigger.." Spike said as he looked out to the sun setting around them.

"What makes you think that Spike?" Lloyd asked as he walked up by his side.

"I don't know, something just tells me.. there will be far more for us in the future.." Spike said as there were still many unanswered things he has for this world.

But before any of them could talk some more, Zane's eyes started to glow blue again, and he started to see from the perspective of the falcon.
"My falcon has arrived at the Dark Island!" Zane said with a serious look which got everyone concerned.

They all went up to the bridge again, and Zane plugged himself into the monitor so they can all see what's happening.
"There, now we can all see." Zane said as they all could see a very dark looking forest full of dangerous looking environments around it, but before any of them could see more of the place, they all saw what looked like a Stone Warrior, throw a deadly disk directly at the falcon and.. it was completely cut off..

Zane was knocked back from the sudden black out, and everyone quickly went up to him to see if he's okay.
"He's.. he's gone..." Zane said with a depressed look while everyone felt awful knowing it.

"We don't know that.." Wu replied as the others went to comfort him.

"Oh Zane.. I'm so sorry.." Nya said regretfully as they helped him up.

"Well he was our friend too, and we won't let him go in vain, if the Stone Army wants a fight, they got one!" Kai said as they all felt ready to avenge him.

But they couldn't take in this moment anymore right now, as the sound of thunder and flashes of lightning could be heard outside, and they knew they were in for something far tougher now.
"Well that's going to have to wait, because right now, we're sailing into a storm! All hands on deck!" Misako ordered as they all looked outside and saw there was a very large storm coming directly to them that surrounded the Dark Island.

"Let's not get overwhelmed by the waves guys! Let's keep the sail steady! Come on!" Spike shouted as they all ran outside and braced themselves for a tough voyage through this storm.

Far away on the Dark Island, the clock was counting down at fast speeds to the Final Battle, and as the camera pans to a newly built camp, multiple Stone Warrior's were seen working down and mining a very dark looking substance. Garmadon had made his way down to the warrior's and questioned why they were mining this at all.
"This is foolish, I have an unbeatable army to take over Ninjago, and we waste time being in the mud?!" Garmadon asked with frustration as the Overlord was watching over all of this.

"What you call mud, is concentrated evil, a dark matter, with a single drop, could make one man's heart turn as black, as night. Have patience Garmadon, the Celestial Clock, click's backwards to doomsday, and cannot be stopped." Overlord said as he began emerging from the substance in a menacing way.

"Your time will come, but, we must prepare. We must, build a superweapon, the likes of which has never before been seen!" Overlord informed which Garmadon liked the sound of.

"Hmmm... a super weapon? I like the sound of that!" Garmadon said as he made a maniacal laugh towards the sky again as the Stone Warrior's kept working to build this weapon.

But back with Spike and everyone else, they were really struggling to keep the ship steady as the storm has gotten far worse each minute they spend in it, and everyone was trying to hold the sail to keep the ship going.
"Hold the line!!" Cole screamed as they all were trying they're hardest to push through this.

"The winds are too strong!" Lloyd screamed as Allison was trying to push through her hands pain to help with them.

"Don't overwork yourself Allison, we can handle this!" Spike shouted as he was starting to struggle with keeping it steady.

"I'm.. not gonna give up right now!" Allison hissed as they saw Jay wasn't helping with this right now.

"We need everyone's help jay!" Zane screamed as more thunder was heard over the whole ship.

"But I don't wanna get wet! I.. I only have one pair of underwear!" Jay informed which made Allison upset.

"Why didn't you listen to your mother about this Jay?! She tried to warn you about it!" Allison pointed out which Jay knew was true.

"Just help us out! We need everyone's help here!" Spike screamed until they suddenly started hearing strange laughing all over the whole ship.

"Who's.. laughing?!" Cole shouted with concern while Misako and everyone else could hear this too.

"It sounds like someone's getting a kick out of this!" Nya said with frustration while Misako was trying not to slide over the deck.

"That's not laughter..." Misako said with fear while Wu managed to come into the bridge too.

"What is that sound?" Wu asked with concern to hear it. And he had gotten his answer when some freaky looking starshaped creatures landed on the window, and looked like they were trying to eat away at the ship.

"Starteeth!" Misako said with anger as even more of them were hopping onto the ship to destroy it.

"Uh.. guys? Why is the sea laughing at us?" Kai asked as they were hearing it all over them.

"And why do I get the feeling we're not gonna get the joke?" Jay asked with concern just as they saw some of the Starteeth land on the ship's deck.

"Hey, what's that?" Cole asked as he let go of the rope for a moment which made everyone slide a bit afterwards.

"Cole!" Spike screamed with frustration while Jay finally decided to help.

"I'm coming!" Jay screamed as he grabbed onto the rope with them, but as a result, the ship got splashed with a large wave again which got him very wet again.

"Oh perfect!" Jay said with annoyance as Cole went to inspect the creature.

"It looks like some kind of.. fish?" Cole asked as he picked it up and could see it's weird suction like teeth which weirded him out.

"Wait! We must not let the Starteeth on board! They devour ships, and won't stop until we sink!" Misako informed as they ran out to help them which got everyone very scared.

"You heard him! Allison, try getting them off the ship!" Spike ordered which made Allison let go for a bit so she can take out her spear.

"Got it!" Allison replied as she twirled it around and swung it under the Starteeth and knocked most of them off the ship, but even more started to hop they're way onto it and some of them made they're way to the rope they were all holding.

"Oh no.." Spike said with fear as the rope finally snapped and the ship started to shake around in an even worse condition then before.

"Agh! I already hate these things!" Allison said as she tried tail whipping them off the ship as fast as they could while the others tried helping out too.

"Get off of there!" Jay shouted as he tried getting the Starteeth of the ship's main sail, but he soon realized more were on his back that were making biting at him by the second.

"Ah! Get em off, get em off!!" Jay screamed while he flailed around widely.

"Jay, use your Spinjitzu!" Kai informed which Jay thought was a good idea.

"Wait! Don't!" Spike screamed before Jay used his Spinjitzu, and that only sent the Starteeth that were on him right onto the sail which made things worse.

"Okay that was a terrible idea." Jay said with fear as they all were being overwhelmed right now.

"Ninja go!!"" Everyone screamed again as they used they're Spinjitzu to knock the Starteeth back into the sea.

"Seek your teeth into that!" Kai said as they all hoped things would be easier by now. But they could barely rest for a second as they saw more was on the chains of the anchor.

"They eat through metal too?!" Jay asked with fear as they saw them on the chains.

"Uh guys? I think we have a bigger problem!" Lloyd screamed while they all saw a large group of Starteeth were eating a large hole in the ship which made things worse.

"Oh, I should've brought a extra pair of underwear.." Jay said with fear while they all could only watch helplessly for now.

"Next time, listen to your mother about this Jay!" Allison said with frustration while they all looked down at the massive problem they have right now.

Everyone had a very rough night after the Starteeth attacked they're ship, there was massive holes torn in multiple sides of the ship, and they currently were having a very rough time sailing through the sea after the storm passed, Spike didn't think they'd make it through a storm like this, but somehow, they managed to do it.

Everyone was helping eachother out with scooping the water that got in the ship back out into the sea, and Kai just felt frustrated with the situation they're in now.
"Agh, this is hopeless! Now that we have no rutter, we've been drifting aimlessly, we'll never get to the Dark Island." Kai said with despair while Spike helped Allison with her bucket's too.

"We only know what is foretold will happen, not when it will happen." Misako reminded while Spike shook his head.

"Yeah well it's gonna take a long time if we don't find a way to fix this." Spike said with frustration while he threw another scoop out of the ship.

But Zane could suddenly feel something was near not too far from them, and he dropped his bucket while looking very shocked upon sensing something.
"What is it Zane?" Wu asked with concern while he went to see where they are right now.

"I sense something.." Zane answered which got everyone worried.

"What is it? What do you see?" Allison asked as Zane finally saw they were about to wash up on a very strange island.

"It's something else! Brace yourselves!" Zane screamed as the ship roughly slid onto the island which made everyone fall over.

"Ugh.. what was that?" Spike asked as they saw they landed on an island of sorts.

Everyone made they're way outside and tried finding out where they are, and to they're surprise, they were on a very strange island with a lighthouse on the higher points of it.
"Who would build a lighthouse way out here?" Lloyd questioned while they were making they're way up the stairs.

"It's not a lighthouse, it's a prison." Zane answered which concerned all of them. But as they were climbing upstairs, they heard a loud growl from the sea behind them which made everyone nervours.

"Oh I should've brought another pair of underwear.." Jay said again which made Allison shake her head already getting the bad joke.

"Mysterious.. we better keep moving." Wu insisted which made them all keep moving up even quicker.

"Who do you think could be here?" Allison asked Spike who didn't know how to answer it.

"We're about to find out." Spike replied while they all went up to the door in front of them.

They all soon made they're way to the top of the stairs and saw there was a strange looking camera at the top of the door which looked down to Zane.
"Uh, should we smile?" Jay asked curiously while the camera inspected him for a moment, but as it soon turned off, a bit of movement could be heard behind the door before it finally opened, and it was revealed to be... Zane's father, Dr Julien!

"Zane! Is it really you?! You found me!" Julien said with relief as he came up and gave him a hug while Zane was completely shocked seeing him.

"Uh.. do you know him?" Lloyd asked confused while Julien looked closer at him.

"Of course I do, I built him for heavens sake!" Julien said with a happy look to see his son again after so long.

"But.. how.. how is this possible?" Spike asked with shock as Zane told all of them about what happened.

"How? My memory told me you had passed?" Zane asked with confusion on how this is possible.

"Ah, you've found your memory switch." Julien replied with a proud look, but they all soon heard the loud growl come from the sea again which was making everyone even more nervous as it was getting even louder.

"Hurry! It can't know your here, or else there will be due's to pay!" Julien warned which scared the group.

"What exactly are you talking about?" Allison asked with concern while they were all coming inside.

"I'll explain everything inside, including why you thought I was dead." Julien replied while Nya looked back at the Bounty with guilt for it's damage.

"Well, the Bounty's sailing day's are over.." Nya said with guilt for they're home's damage.

"Come Nya." Wu advised as they all came inside and Julien closed the door and made sure it was locked and secured.

"So you really are Zane's father?" Spike asked again while they were coming up the stairs.

"Yes I am, and who may you be? I never thought I'd see.. a talking Dragon in front of me, and is that a Serpentine with you?" Julien asked as he saw Allison was next to him too.

"This is my friend Spike, and his that's his daughter Allison. Spike came to our world unexpectedly, and has been with us ever since. He found Allison when she was an egg during an important mission, and he took her in, and has been raising her as a father ever since." Zane explained bluntly to put it simply.

"My, this is fascinating, it makes me wonder just what other wonders there are for this world." Julien replied with fascination while Spike and Allison looked at eachother and felt glad knowing it's really him.

Everyone made they're way to the top of the lighthouse where there was a large room inside that was full of different things for inventions, Julien pressed a small switch on the wall which made the light lower down into a table for all of them which was really cool.
"Wow.. that's amazing.." Spike said with shock as they all sat down while Julien opened up a cover, and a strange looking robot with some bowls rolled out to the table, hopped onto it, and started spreading them out for each of them to have.

"Heh, this his actually really cool!" Allison said as it soon went back and got a teacup from Julien and went to pour some in for them to drink, but while Jay tried to mess with it by moving his bowl around, the robot ended pouring down some of the drink on his clothing again which made Jay scream with pain again which made everyone laugh as a result knowing he shouldn't have done something like that.

Zane looked around the room, and soon saw there were blueprints of his model, it looked exactly like the ones he saw back in his old home.
"I still don't understand, I saw you pass?" Zane asked with confusion while he looked towards Julien.

"Yes you did, and believe you me when I tell you, I thought I was kaput! But as you know, the past is the past." Julien stated which Misako and Wu finished together.

"And the future, is the future." Misako and Wu finished with calm looks which was very true.

"Yes, but after I turned off your memory switch, what you didn't see was the bonehead Samukai reviving me with a special elixir." Julien explained as we cut to a flashback of the Skeletons arriving at the very moment Julien passed after Zane's memory was turned off.

"He wanted me to create state of the art war machine's for they're army, but I refused." Julien continued as Julien refuses to build dangerous weapons that looked to be similar to the designs the ninja have seen before.

"He said if I did, I would be able to see my son again. But to make sure I didn't escape, he chained a Leviathan to keep guard." Julien finished as we see Samukai lock Julien in this place while a strange unknown creature was chained to the water's deep below.

"A Leviathan? That's what we heard in the ocean?" Lloyd asked with concern which Julien confirmed.

"Yes. When Samukai didn't return, I thought I'd never see you again, but as so much time as passed, I started to question.. if you'd ever want to see me again.. I was afraid, if you found out about the horrible things I've created, you'd think I was.. a monster.." Julien said with guilt as he never wanted this to happen, and Zane could understand it perfectly, all of them could.

"We will get you out of here father, now that we're together, perhaps we can invent a way off this rock." Zane suggested which gave Jay an idea.

"Could you repair the rocket booster's on our ship?" Jay asked hopefully as he showed Julien they're ship which amazed him with it's design.

"That sailing ship has rocket boosters?!" Julien asked with shock while Nya came up to them again.

"Well the rotter's and gears are shot." Nya explained which Julien had no trouble with.

"Eh, Pish posh, no matter, I'll have your ship airworthy by dawn!" Julien said with a confident look.

But they're plan would have to wait as they heard the same growl from the ocean get even louder, and it got loud enough to shake the room they were in which got everyone scared.
"Oh no! He's here! Everyone hide!" Julien warned as they saw a large tenacle emerge from the ocean which made everyone find a place to hide, Spike and Allison hid below the room while the others found they're own places to hide, and they prayed they wouldn't be found.

"Ugh I hate sea monster's.." Spike whispered with fear as they stood completely still.

"I wish I could turn invisible right about now.." Allison told herself since she couldn't do that yet.

The Leviathan slowly crept it's way up to the top of the lighthouse after everyone hid away, and everyone stood completely still as they didn't want to be found by it.
"Everyone don't make a sound.." Julien whispered as 3 eyes came behind his window and blinked to let him know he's here.

"Ah, if it isn't my old chum.." Julien said nervously as the creature looked around it's room and wondered what he was doing. Julien quickly flipped over the bowls there were on the table and used the sticks around it to use it as a drumset to avoid being spotted.

"Heh, just marching to the beat to my own drum, you know? Doing whatever I can to pass the time. Since I'm so.. you know, alone.." Julien said as the creature finally started to lower itself back into the ocean which relieved everyone.

"Oh thank Celestia.." Spike said with relief while everyone came out of they're hiding spots.

"If we're gonna make something to get out of here, we better hurry. Before it comes back." Kai informed which everyone was glad to agree with.

"Let's hurry guys, come on!" Allison insisted as they all got to work and began working on a way to get out of here.

Everyone spent just about the rest of the day using the parts and machine's around Julien's workshop to make the parts to repair the Bounty, it seemed so much easier to fix now that Julien was here, Spike was glad that they were able to find Zane's father, and hoped he'll be able to help them for as long as possible.

Everyone was working on the Bounty right now as the sun was setting after spending hours of working on the Bounty, Cole was whispering the music they often listen too which made everyone look at him.
"What? It's catchy." Cole said in defense which made Spike shrug his shoulders.

"Do you think there's any other song out there in Ninjago? Because I've just kept hearing the same song but in different remixes?" Spike asked with a confused look which Cole could answer.

"Of course there is, when this is over, I'll show you some of my family's records, they've got tons of classics on them!" Cole said with a confident look which made Allison chuckle.

"Well we'll see about that." Allison said as they were working on a special tarp they were trying to piece together.

Back on top of the lighthouse, Zane was helping take care of Julien by helping prep him a well deserved meal, he wanted to take in what time he could with his father again, especially after being apart for so long.
"Whoo wee.. I must say, I have never had such a meal in all my life! Where did you learn to cook? I never programmed that into you?" Julien asked with fascination for how this is possible.

"I guess I just.. picked it up.. Father? If I wanted you to.. make a change in me.. would you?" Zane asked with worry which Julien was concerned by.

"Zane, your perfect, I could never make you better then you already are." Julien assured which Zane still was questioning.

"Then I see no reason to have a memory switch, I happen to like my life, and don't want to ever forget you." Zane replied as he and Julien looked out the window where they saw the other's working on the ship still.

"Don't worry my son, we will both never forget. " Julien said with a calm look which made them look at eachother one more time as father and son.

"I am glad you found me.." Julien said gratefully as they took this moment together and gave eachother a hug.

"And I am glad you made me.." Zane said gratefully for what he's done.

But they're moment was soon cut short as they heard the Leviathan's growl again which alerted everyone. Zane and Julien quickly rushed out of the lighthouse and tried warning the others of it.
"Everyone aboard! it's coming!" Julien shouted as everyone was quickly making they're way on the ship.

"Go. move!" Spike screamed as multiple tentacles from the Leviathan was emerging from the water.

"It's here!" Kai screamed as the monster emerged from the ocean and made a loud ferocious roar at all of them.

"Get us out of here Nya!" Jay screamed while Nya ran to the bridge and tried to activate the ship.

"I hope she's ready!" Nya prayed as she pressed on the switch which finally activated the booster's again after they were repaired, as well as a hot air balloon being attached to it so it could help them fly, Nya tried to fly the ship away from the creature while it tried to reach them.

"Hang on!" Nya shouted as she pressed the switch to make the ship take off even faster, but the Leviathan was able to latch it's tentacles on the whole ship and began pulling everyone into the water again which made them scream with fear from the sudden force.

"Lloyd, Spike! Try using your powers!" Wu encouraged which might work.

"Alright, hang on!" Spike shouted as he helped Lloyd up and charged up more of his ice powers.

"Release us you monster!" Lloyd screamed as Lloyd shot his energy at the monster and it made some of it's tentacles release them, and Spike shot a powerful ice blast to the rest of them so they could have trouble pulling them back.

"Well done you two!" Wu said with a proud tone as the ship was freed for just a moment, but the Leviathan soon crashed it's tentacles onto the island to break the ice Spike encased it with, and turned it's attention back to the ship before it took off again.

"Everyone hold on!" Allison screamed as the monster wrapped it's tenacles around the ship again which made that move of theirs pointless in the end.

Zane looked off the edge of the ship to see why it won't let them go, and he saw the monster was chained to the floor so it can't leave either.
"It's chained!" Zane shouted as the chain was holding it back. Knowing there was no other choice, he started to get onto the edge of the ship and prepared himself for a big fall.

"Zane! What are you doing?!" Julien asked with fear while Zane looked back at him one more time.

"The Leviathan won't let us leave, I think I know a way to help!" Zane said seriously while Julien tried to stop him.

"You can't jump in! These oceans are filled with Starteeth!" Julien reminded which was Zane's idea all along.

"I know." Zane replied calmly before he spread out his arms and took a large dive into the ocean below them.

"Zane! No!" Julien shouted with terror while Spike held him back from doing anything to hurt himself.

"Don't worry Dr Julien! I know Zane, he'll find a way to help us!" Spike assured while they looked down at the ocean and prayed Zane would find a way.

Zane swam his way all the way down to the bottom where he could see the chain that was keeping the Leviathan from leaving too, he saw multiple Starteeth were around him, and to carry out his plan, he grabbed them and placed it on the chain so they could eat away at the metal like they did with they're ship before, and he then looked up and started swimming back up to the ship before it took off.

Back on the surface, the Leviathan had a full grip on their entire ship, and it began pulling them down into the sea which made all of them scream with fear.
"Dad!" Allison screamed as she crashed into Spike who almost got thrown over the ledge, and Spike grabbed Allison's hand to make sure she doesn't fall off either.

"I got you!" Spike said as he held onto her good hand tightly while the ship was starting to be pulled into the sea.

"Help!!" Lloyd screamed with fear while the ship was getting even lower, but thanks to the Starteeth Zane had placed on the chain, they were finally able to eat through the chain and it finally released the Leviathan, it had suddenly felt something strange just moments later, and as it looked at the chain, it finally let them go and saw it was finally free.

The ship was fully released and everyone could see they were free too.
"What happened?" Julien asked with shock while everyone was getting back up.

"Zane released the Leviathan, and now it's letting us go!" Lloyd informed as a familiar hand grabbed onto the ship when no one saw it.

"But what about my son?" Julien asked with fear for his safety. But everyone heard someone climb up the side, and they saw Zane was alright and managed to get out of there.

"Zane!" Julien said with relief as he ran up to him to give him a hug.

"How did you know if you freed it from captivity, it would let us go?" Wu asked with shock while Zane looked at them all with a proud look.

"Because no one deserves to be held captive, not even a monster." Zane replied which they could understand.

"If there's anyone who could've decided that, it would be you Uncle Zane." Allison said as she knows he'd be able to decide something like this.

"That's our Zane." Spike said with relief as he patted his back and they looked back at the Leviathan one last time, it blinked at them as a sign of gratitude, and soon began swimming off into the sea so it could live it's own life.

"Farewell creature from the sea, enjoy your freedom." Zane said with a smile while Allison and Spike hugged eachother again from relief of being okay, with the ship being fully repaired, and the Leviathan freed, they were all finally able to head to the Dark Island as the sun rose over the horizon, and everyone took in this moment together as they had some time to relax before they finally arrive at the Dark Island..

Hope you liked this everyone! I think this episode was really strong in helping us see more to Zane after he had such a lot to go through in the last season after finding out his father was supposedly dead. I really like Julien here honestly, and I thought he was a fun character to be around with the time he was here, it's a shame he passed away off screen before Season 3 happened, I would've liked to see a short or something where we see that happen, I just think it could've been one of the best moments in Ninjago with proper time.

I'm honestly thinking that when they reach the Temple of Light, Spike will gain his own elemental power that will be fully unlocked in the finale, how do you all feel about the power of Crystal for Spike? I think that'll suit him, and will help him be more distinct from the other ninja, he'll still be able to use the other's powers when the time is right, I just think that's a better way for him to feel included. I'll do more for Allison later, but for now, I hope she's blending in well with the cast.

Regardless, I really enjoy this episode, even if the sudden cut from the storm causing problems for everyone to a commercial, and then we cut back to the next morning after they pushed through the problem felt a little weird for me. I just hope that didn't feel too strange to you guys. I just hope you liked this chapter and have a good day guys!
