The Everfree forest. Yes, we have all heard the same type of story where a human wakes up in this very forest, and this isn't very different. I'm not just going to make the main guy just pop out of thin air in the middle of Ponyville, right? I thought as much. Ahem. Anyways, lets get on with the story, shall we?
It was a quiet night in the Everfree forest, where not even a single sound could be heard. It was completely silent. That is, until a very large noise could be heard, waking up all the creatures near the area.
A Manticore was first to go to the source of the irritating sound. It saw a big crater around the place, as well as scorch marks on the nearby trees. There was also something gigantic laying in the middle of the crater. The Manticore hesitated before approaching it. The creature had a blue colour with some yellow streaks across its body. It only had one hand as the other arm had a box shaped form at the end of it. There were also some sparks coming out of it, most likely indicating that it was hurt.
The Manticore was very careful to approaching it, not wanting to disturb such a large creature. Suddenly, the creatures eyes, and the end of the box shaped hand, started to glow brightly.
"Note to self: Do not fuck around with the Cybran and Illuminate at the same time. Damn, those nukes hurt." The creature said as it rose to its legs. The Manticore was now very intimidated by this new creature. "And why am I in a forest? Last time I checked I was in the biggest battle known to mankind! You know what? Fuck logic! I have had to fight o-so many Cybrans, I can't even count!"
The creature now turned it's entire torso towards the Manticore. The Manticore wanted to run far away from it, but decided to stay just a little while longer. "What the fuck is that thing?" The creature said, seemingly speaking to itself. The Manticore finally decided to retreat back into the forest. After the Manticore was far away from the behemoth, it could hear the creature scream "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!"
Alex's POV
"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!" Alex screamed at the top of his lungs. "Ok, Alex. Calm down. Lets see what have happened to me for the past five minutes. I get hit by a bunch of nukes. I wake up in a forest for no freaking reason. I start to see a lion scorpion... thing. Did I mention I have absolutely no idea of where I am? 'Cus I have no idea of where the fuck I am right now. Oh well. When in doubt, check the map!" Alex looked at his map, only to find that there were no maps of where he currently was. "...Fuck my life. Not only don't I know where I am, but there are no maps... Why does the universe hate me so much?" Alex tried to communicate to someone, anyone, that could help him, but to no avail.
Alex then thought of what he should do next. He decided to do what all Supreme Commanders would do.
Build a base!
Alex started building Mass extractors with what little Mass he had left. He then built some Energy generators. After he had gathered enough Mass and Energy, he started to build a air factory. He then built some engineers to help with the construction of his base, as well as helping him with getting some air units and to repair himself. After he had built a slight part of what is going to be a very large base, he started to build his first land factory. He then built some tanks, in case of an attack on his base. Alex did not know why, but all of his research had been lost. So, he sent some engineers to build some research stations.
After he had built some more of his base, five of his fighters were ready to take off into space, bringing a satellite as well. The ships took off into space to map out the world he was currently on, as there were no maps of any part of the planet. He only hoped that there were no hostiles in this world.
Twilight's POV
Twilight was in her home, looking through her telescope, studying the vast and open space, as is what she usually did in her spare time. It was a calm and peaceful night, much like many other nights. There was nothing new going on. That is, until something that sounded like a explosion could be heard from the Everfree forest. She quickly turned the telescope to see what had caused the noise. She could see something VERY big in the forest, but thought of it as a Hydra.
She went back to examining the stars. Only this time, there were five moving stars, as if they were in a formation. She had never seen anything like it and wrote it down in her notebook she had with her every time she went stargazing. She could now see ten more stars moving in formation. She noted this down and had a rising urge to report this to the princesses, but thought it only as Luna playing around... Again.
After ten minutes of more stargazing, she could hear some faint sounds coming from the Everfree forest. It did not sound like anything she had ever heard before. The urge to report this to the princesses rose once more, but she discarded that idea... Not. She went downstairs and got a quill and paper and wrote down her discoveries to the princesses. She went back upstairs and held the piece of paper in front of Spike's mouth. Thanks to his snoring, the paper went up in flames and was turned into dust, sending the reports towards the princesses. It was a trick that she had learned while Spike was covered in parchments and all of them were sent to the princesses.
After a few more minutes of stargazing, she trotted to her bed and lay down. Her final thought before the dark embrace of sleep took over were of those strange stars... Could it be alien life?
...Nope
