At the top of the dark tower, Spike, Sparx, and Starswirl are nearly there while they were running pass by up to the next chamber. Fight off every armored skeletons with everything they got. Until now, they finally made it to their destination of catacomb where the throne room is inside. "This is it, here lies inside is the throne room. We must prepare ourselves for the worst." Starswirl said.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's... Gaah!" Spike gasp when a beam blasted on the ground, almost hitting the baby dragon. He's lucky to dodge before the beam nearly hit him. "Where did that come from?"

"You two, get back behind me!" Starswirl shouted to telling Spike and Sparx to come back to him. By the time when Spike and Sparx joined the wizard, Nemnok and his Dredoks appears out of the shadow, causing Starswirl the Bearded to get serious aggressive glare on the sorcerer. "Nemnok."

"I'm surprised you have escaped your tormented cell, all because of the little help you have." The sorcerer said after looking down at Spike. "If you attempt to entering the throne room, you must get pass me and the Dredoks."

The seven Dredoks walks approaches toward the three of them, causing Starswirl the Bearded to take his battle stands on those soulless abominations, even Spike and Sparx keeping their guards up. "Starswirl, what are we gonna do, these guys can't be beaten whenever we've tried to." Spike said.

The baby dragon is right, how will they have the accomplish to defeat the sorcerer's minions when they feel no pain nor any emotions at all. However, the wizard had only one option for this. "Young dragon listen carefully, I know it is not wise decision, but... I will hold them off while you and your companion can head to the throne room." Starswirl said when he cause Spike to get confuse.

"What... but what about..." Spike trying to say a few words, worrying about Twilight and the others who are within the orb on Nemnok's position.

"Do not worry, I will save your friends no matter the cost, you have my word." Starswirl said in promise while Spike is thinking about it, until the baby dragon nodded. The wizard has now use horn to release his magic, and then he blasted his beam on the floor. The huge smoke blinded the sorcerer and the Dredoks for perfect timing for Spike and Sparx to run to the throne room catacomb door. "Now, go!" He shouted while his magic aura have managed to open the catacomb.

Spike and Sparx have now their chance to fly towards the opening catacomb. "Good luck Starswirl." Spike said when he look back and then move foward while Sparx is following him.

"Argh... fools, do not let a mere child of the dragon escape our clutches!" Nemnok shouted by ordering the Dredoks, but the wizard had immediately blasted the ceiling to collapse by blocking their way.

"It is now our fight between you and me Sorcerer." Starswirl said to face them alone.

"Oh hmhmhmhm, not only me Starswirl. My Dredoks will do it for me." Nemnok said while his minions are stands for their master. "Prepare yourself to be destroyed by my own hoof." The Dredoks taking their stands against Starswirl the Bearded.

Spike and Sparx are flying up the hallway, until they have arrived to the throne room that is full of destruction everywhere. But then, the baby dragon gasp in shock because he spotted an injured princess Celestia and princess Luna on the floor, painfully but barely alive.

He ran to them and said in worry whole shaking to wake them up. "Celestia, luna, are you alright? Please wake up."

Princess Celestia's eyes starts to twitched, meaning she's gonna open heavily to her eyes. "Spike... is it... truly you?" She barely asked.

"Easy your majesty, you two are in terribly hurt real bad." Spike said to make sure they are alright.

"You shouldn't... be here, flee... now before." Princess Celestia trying to warn the baby dragon, but it was too late because the flapping sounds has caught their attention.

In Spike's eyes, a terrifying emotions has taken him and Sparx over of seeing Empress Ravahna in the flesh while she flies down to the ground. The Empress of evil looking down to see the baby dragon with smile on her face. "My my, what do we have here?" She said while moving closer to him. "Have you know it is foolish to come here all alone little one, but now your fate has already been sealed."

The baby dragon couldn't even move a muscle but shaking in fear. However, he simply snap out of it to come to his senses when he and Sparx is now backing away from her. After all, Spike remembered he faced every bad guys and other creatures from before. "I... I came here to help the princesses, and to stop you." Spike bravely said by standing his ground.

"Hahahahaha, stop me, How incredibly adorable you are. Look at them, the princesses never stand a chance against my wrath, and neither will you. I... am... powerful." Empress Ravahna said to make an echoing voice just like the two princesses did, unleashing a dark green aura around her body and opening her wings.

"She's right... we never stand... a chance against her... you must save... yourselves... run." Princess Celestia barely said to the baby dragon in worry. But Spike is having a hard time of decision by two choices, it is either run, or stay.

"Yes, by all means child run away. let those so called rulers of Equestria do all their duties for you. Unless you desire to share their pain." Empress Ravahna said to mocking them.

"... No, I'm not going to let you hurt them anymore." Spike said to stand in front to protect princess Celestia and princess Luna. "Even if you do, you're gonna get through me!" He shouted, and then spew out the green fireball at the Empress. As soon as it did hit her, the Empress of evil face's is changed to anger because of that stunt Spike just pulled. that a mistake for the baby dragon to challenge her without thinking before act. "...I'm sorry."

Empress Ravahna raised her hoof and smashing the baby dragon pretty hard in the cheek and the eye, sending him away to crash on the stone pillar and the wall. Princess Celestia gasp in worry for Spike when she sees this happening now. Sparx flew towards the baby dragon to see if he's alright. Until, Spike has getting up on his feet, but he twitching in pain of his body and his red sore cheek while coughing out. "It's... okay Sparx, I'm... fine." Spike said.

"It hurts, doesn't it? Do not worry little dragon, your torment has only just beginning." Empress Ravahna said after she uses her magic and then blasted the beam directly to Spike.

The baby dragon eyes widened in shock while the beam is coming at him real fast. Luckily, Spike and Sparx have dodged it quickly before it does. "Sparx, get out of here!" Spike said to let his dragonfly friend to fly away from the fight and Sparx nodded to listen to him. Suddenly, another blast of beam comes at Spike again when it ducked down and then take flight to the air. The baby dragon flies around to avoid every attack from the Empress of evil, laughing to see him keep on dodging. The baby dragon have somehow fight back by firing a fire ball many time he got, even take cover from the Empress's attack.

....

Meanwhile, Starswirl the Bearded battling the Dredoks alone with all his might, shooting his beam at them and dodging their attacks, but sometimes he take a lot of hits by them. The sorcerer was standing their away from the fight like he is enjoying the show. "Not very bad, for a wizard." Nemnok said. "But unfortunately, the time is already wasted upon yourself. Face it Starswirl, the Dredoks can never be beaten no matter how."

Starswirl the Bearded have tried so hard to hit every last one of those soulless cloak ponies, but they always getting back up. "He's right about them, but there has got to be a way to defeat them if I to know their weakness." Starswirl regretted to admit when he thought to himself, but he has to stay focus and figured it out the way to find their weakness, until now. "Unless... the weakness must have come from the source, and I know what i must do."

The wizard uses his magic from his horn to cast the vision spell for his eyes. By the time he did, his vision sees the evil aura surrounded the Dredoks and it led right to the sorcerer's horn. It is now his chance to defeat the Dredoks is to shatter Nemnok's horn. But first, he needs to slow them down and to do that is to keep on fight as long as he have his strength.

"You are delaying the inevitable." Nemnok said. "I wanted to see what you have instore for me, any tricks at all."

"If you wanted to see my tricks, then you got one." Starswirl said while now charging towards them.

"Stop him." Nemnok ordered the Dredoks to stop Starswirl the Bearded to reach the sorcerer while they immediately blasted their multiple beams at him. The smokes risen up by the blast, covering the wizard for them not know where he is. Until, Starswirl the Bearded jumped out the smoke and blast his beam straight the sorcerer, but Nemnok simply block and reflect up high his attack by using a barrier spell. One Dredok hit Starswirl to the ground by a beam and the rest of them are hold him down. "Is this the best plan you can come up with, I expect more from the great Starswirl the Bearded." He pulled the glowing orb that has the Mane Six. "You... have lost the battle and we are the victorious, now prepare to join them."

"... That, is where you are wrong sorcerer." Starswirl said which cause the sorcerer to get confused of what he means.

The beam that Nemnok reflected it came down straight at the sorcerer without noticing. And then, it now destroyed Nemnok's horn into pieces. The pain in agony really affects on him while he screams and dropped the orb to the ground unbroken. "ARGH! NO... MY HORN, MY MAGIC!" Nemnok shouted until... he sees the Dredoks are somehow shaken their body, it would means that they're too be destroyed. One by one, the Dredoks exploded into dust to nothing but cloaks falling down the ground. "Raah! Curse you Starswirl, I swear you will suffer for this one day."

"That is unfortunate Nemnok, the fate has already plans for you now." Starswirl said while he uses his magic from his horn to cast it. He blasted a magic behind the sorcerer to bring forth the magic portal.

"What is this?!" Nemnok shouted in confusion and shocked while he feels like portal is pulled him in.

"It is a portal to an empty realm, you will be trapped there... forever." Starswirl said while slowly walk towards him.

On that moment on, the portal has now sucking Nemnok inside completely. "NOOOOOOOOOO!" The sorcerer shouted at the end, and then... the portal is shut closed and disappeared, Nemnok is no more.

Starswirl the Bearded sigh in relief and exhausted, already knowing that the sorcerer is gone for good. However, he noticed the glowing orb was right there on the ground, walking towards it, and tap it with his horn by using his magic. As soon as he did, the glowing orb starts to get brighter and then simply releasing the Mane Six out of it unconscious. Until now, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have started to awaken while their heads are lifted and opening their eyes heavily.

"Ugh... what in tarnation just happen?" Applejack asked while she rubbing her head.

"I don't know, but why do I feel we missed something right now or whatever?" Rainbow Dash said in confusion.

"Starswirl, what... what are doing here?" Twilight asked until she didn't notice the wizard is stand there.

"You all are saved now, but an explanation will be in another time." Starswirl said while helping them getting up on their hooves one by one.

"The last thing I remember was there were those robes ponies. They've attacked us and... where are we?" Twilight said to remember what really happened that day until she doesn't know where they are now.

"I don't know, but this place is sure is spooky." Pinkie Pie said while looking around.

"There is no time for this, I need an assistants by helping me moves these stones away the catacomb." Starswirl said while moving the stones out of the way one at a time. "I fear your young dragon friend requires an aid at the throne room."

"Young dragon, you mean... Spike is here!?" Twilight Sparkle said.

"Yes, Celestia and Luna are defeated, and he is now facing against the Empress of evil. We must be hurry now before it's too late." Starswirl said, causing the Mane Six to gasp and eyes widened in worry for the baby dragon.

"Oh no, then what are we waiting for, we gotta help our Spikey Wikey!" Rarity shouted in worry while they all now joining Starswirl the Bearded by moving those stones away from the catacomb. If not, the baby dragon they truly loved... will die.

....

Meanwhile at the throne room, the Empress of evil is flying around to look for the baby dragon wherever he hides like she's playing with him. "Come out little dragon, there's no use hide yourself from me so do not be afraid." Empress Ravahna said.

While she wasn't looking from behind, Spike slowly moved his head up to see her and figuring out how to beat her. "Come on Spike, there has got to be a way beat that Empress... think, think." He said in whisper to himself while trying to think really hard. "My fire won't even hurt her that much like it was nothing at all... unless." The ideas has suddenly come to him in his mind. If Spike fire power can't hurt the Empress of evil, then her amulet will be.

Spike attempts to get out his hiding place and take flight in the air without getting spotted. Until now, he took a deep breath and releases his green fire ball on Empress Ravahna's amulet, but he missed it. "Ah, there you are." Empress Ravahna said when she finally caught him on sight. She blasted with her magical beams for trying to hit him wherever he goes. Luckily Spike always keep dodging every attack, but he won't avoid it for much longer. So he now continues again to spew out his fire ball, hoping he would manage to hit the amulet. However, Spike somehow have finally hit the amulet, causing the Empress of evil to feel it. "Argh... you little insignificant brat, how dare you!" Empress Ravahna said in anger.

The baby dragon would've expected the amulet to get crack, but one shot wasn't enough, maybe couple of more should do. Many times he shoots out his fire to hit the amulet directly, sometimes he misses it. "Oh no, not now." Spike said when he feels his fire is about to run out, but he needs to make it count or it's over.

He now resume his fighting with the Empress of evil while he continues spewing his fire on her. But suddenly, Empress Ravahna is starts to glowing brighter around herself, causing the baby dragon to get eyes widened. "ENOUGH!" Empress Ravahna shouted when she exploded her magic. Blowing everything away, including Spike when he is been hit into the wall really hard. As soon as she's finished, the Empress of evil now use her magic aura to lift the baby dragon's body and moving towards her so he will never escape. Spike tries to break free, but her magic is too strong to get away. "I grew tired of small peasants like you get in my way, now perish!"

Empress Ravahna ignited her horn to end Spike's life where he stands. The baby dragon had never thought he'll meet his doomed now when he closed his eyes. But suddenly, a beam out of nowhere have blow the Empress away, causing her to release Spike from the magic aura. The Empress of evil gets a full rage because of the somepony's interfering. She turned her head to see who done this and then she notice it was Princess Celestia who hit her with beam. The sun Princess is barley standing on her hooves, but too weak because of the wounds she got.

"You will pay for interfere the Empress of evil, DIE!" Empress Ravahna shouted when she is about to kill princess Celestia with a magic from her horn.

"PRINCESS!" Spike shouted in worry when he reaching to her. Until suddenly... Ravahna's magic is somehow weakened.

"What... why is my magic... GAH! My amulet, where is it?!" Empress Ravahna said in worry of the amulet when she didn't know that it wasn't with her. She frustrated to look for it around until she spotted it on the ground. The Empress was about get it back, but Spike quickly grabbed it before her. "Wait!"

"Spike, it is now the time to destroy it with all your might, you must do it now." Princess Celestia said and Spike nodded to do it while grabbing a stone so he will use it to break the amulet.

"Wait, don't do it dragon. Give it to me and I can give you anything what you truly desire." Empress Ravahna said for trying to convince him.

The baby dragon had to think about it, but he only had one thing to say. "I know what I want... is for you to go away!" Spike shouted, and then...

*SMASH*

Spike had now destroy the amulet green jewel in the middle, breaking into pieces and darkness green smoke coming out of it. "No." Empress Ravahna said to witness its destruction. However, the amulet wasn't the only one is broken. She looked into her hoof and see she starts to crack like a glass. But not only that, her entire body is cracking too. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Empress Ravahna screamed to her final breath when she is now faded into green dust in the air. The Empress of evil... has been defeated, causing the princesses, Spike and Sparx to witness her demise.

....

At the field of battle, the skeleton armies have suddenly froze its corpses when they all nearly to end anypony's life. And then, the skeleton armies collapse into pieces and turns to dusts every last one of them, which it could only mean one thing. They all shouted in joy for the victory, everypony even Shining Armor believed that the Empress is gone for good. "They did it, we've won." Shining Armor said when he looked at the dark tower, especially seeing the dark clouds are disappearing all around the world and turned into a beautiful morning sunny day. The Pillars, Canterlot and Crystal Empire armies have all made it through the battle alive and wounded.

....

Back at the throne room, the Mane six and Starswirl the Bearded have made it to the throne, but they just missed everything of what's happening here. They looked around somepony until they spotted the princesses, Spike, and Sparx over there, happy that they are all alright. The baby dragon turned his head and eyes widened to see Twilight and the others. "Twilight, girls!" He said in happiness while running towards them for them and Sparx following him. By the time he got, Spike gave his sister a hug to know she and her friends are safe. "I'm so happy to see you guys again, I've missed you all so much."

"I'm happy to see you too Spike." Twilight Sparkle said while hugging him back and the others are joining in too, including Sparx too.

"Are you all alright?" Starswirl asked when he checked on injured Celestia and Luna.

"We are fine for now, it's all thanks Spike who defeated the Empress alone and saved us both." Princess Celestia said and her sister nodded. Starswirl the Bearded eyes widened to hear what she has say.

"Does he now." Starswirl said to believed it now. Knowing that no pony or any creature besides him has ever defeated the alicorn before, but he is wrong. And for that, the wizard feels truly grateful to Spike for what he did.

"So... what happens now? It's not like we stand here and do nothing at all." Rainbow Dash said when they believed she has a good question, until the baby dragon has one answer.

"I got one, why don't we all sit back and relax to watch the view of sun rise. Besides, I'm really exhausted. " Spike said while the everypony is thinking about it. Until then they all agreed with him.

"Hm... I suppose the scenery view would be excellent choices." Princess Celestia said.

"I do agree too." Princess Luna nodded.

"Oh, it would be splendid to see the beautiful morning day." Rarity said.

"Same here partner." Applejack said.

"Well... why not, I could give it a shot for some chilaxing." Rainbow Dash said to agree and join in, although they still didn't know what that word means.

"Me too." Fluttershy said.

"Me three too." Pinkie Pie said when she popped out behind them.

And so, the battle of Good and Evil has finally ended. With the Empress of evil is gone, Equestria is finally be free and safe all around all thanks to one young dragon name Spike the dragon. Spike, Sparx, the Mane six, Princesses, and Starswirl have sat down to watch the sun rise together, but what will happens next when the battle is finished. But the next time will soon find out.
