In the proper lighting, have you ever fathomed their dazzle? Witnessed the beauty in them fade away and die?

You know…

Snowflakes…

Ponies…

In the end, it doesn’t matter. I’ll keep observing them, fascinated by their delicate and intricate nature, eventually succumbing to a melt.

Yes. Since nights of yore, some would visit to seek truth in this body of water known as Luna Bay. Others came to examine it, wishing to learn more or to desecrate it for their gain. But here’s the exciting part. Regardless of the approach, they’re all striving toward the same goal. And for that reason, I find it absurd to harbor any ill will toward them. Because if not for them—for her—this beautiful place we call home would not be as animated.

At that point, there would be no reason for it to exist. Neither would I, nor anypony else, have this mesmerizing view of the luminous ultramarine night accompanied by the laps of water caressing the snowy shoreline.

Shoooo...

“Hey, I have a proposal that I think you’ll find tempting. Let’s attend to some of those dainty, complicated snowflakes, whether they’re long-melted or freshly fallen. Happy or sad. Vibrant or dull. How about we break the ice with some familiar names, little one?”

“Kayy!“
