The Girl in the Woods
2 - Stalking
Previous ChapterNext ChapterOnly our seeps of tea disturbed the silence of the looming night.
Fluttershy looked at me with curiosity, and I felt a blush rising to my cheeks. I tried to make some small talk, but I was too nervous to say anything at all.
She seemed to sense my discomfort, and she smiled kindly in support. “Don’t be shy,” she said. “I’m shy enough for the both of us already. I mean, you don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. I’m just glad you’re here. You’re a good person, and a handsome one at that.”
Fluttershy reached out and touched my hand. I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. I looked into her eyes, and I saw a spark of something. Desire, maybe. Or love. I didn’t know, and I didn’t care. Whatever the intense atmosphere held, it was good.
She leaned her head on my shoulder and sighed. “It’s been so long since I met a fellow human. I’ve been in these mountains all alone for so long.”
“How did a frail girl like you even survive up here?”
“It started when I got lost in the woods. The first few days were really tough. As if being lost wasn’t enough, I sprained my ankle on a tree root and couldn’t move much. I was constantly hungry and thirsty. But then, things got better.”
“How so?”
“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.” She shied away.
“Try me. I’ve seen plenty of things in my life, especially in the woods. I doubt you can surprise me in any way.”
“I can speak to animals…”
“Okay, I take that back; color me surprised.”
“The animals of the forest were attracted to me. At first, I tried to shoo them away because I already had enough problems on my plate. But then a squirrel brought me a hazelnut. It weirded me out, but I was hungry, so I cracked it and ate.”
“I’ve never seen a squirrel do that.”
“It wasn’t just the squirrel. The animals fed me and kept me warm at night. Eventually, I found my way back to the town, but I realized I didn’t want to live there anymore. I liked the forest and the animals.”
“That makes at least two of us then.”
“I only ever go to the town to raid the container with clothes for homeless people. I am homeless, after all…”
“It takes more than clothes to survive out here, though.”
“I learned to gather fruits of the wood and make fire in dens. I learned to respect the balance of nature, to take only what I needed and to give back what I could. I was happy, away from the world of people. I felt a connection with the animals, who treated me as one of their own. I felt at peace with the forest that sheltered me from the harsh elements. I felt joy with the seasons that brought beauty and change. I’m not so fond of the upcoming winter, though. There’s even frost in some mornings already.”
“At least during the nights, you should stay indoors. You risk freezing outside.”
“Thank you again for letting me in. With my wet clothes and dropping temperatures, I don’t know what would have happened to me. It’s not the only reason why I came here, though.”
“It’s not?”
“I love the animals in the forest, but there’s still something I’m missing. I’m not particularly fond of humans, but when I saw you, my heart just started to race. I suddenly didn’t want to be alone anymore. I wanted to know more about you.”
“You don’t have to be alone anymore.” I hugged her, and she embraced me in turn.
Her head rested on my chest for the longest time until her yawn interrupted the silence. “Oh, I’m so sorry. I’ve just been on my feet all day, and it’s so warm in here. I bet my dress is already dried up.”
She stood up, walked to the stove and felt it out. “Indeed, it is.” Still covered with a blanket, she put on the dress underneath it. After that, she took off the blanket. Neatly folded it and deposited it back into the wardrobe as if she were a housewife in my cabin.
“You look really lovely in that dress,” I commented.
“Hi-hi.” She blushed, then did a little bow while holding the edges of her skirt. “Thank you. I’m really sorry to have burdened you tonight. I can just set a nest at the fireplace with a few leaves.”
“Oh, for the heck’s sake!”
“Whaa…” She pressed her hands together over her breasts.
I stood up, walked to her and picked her up in my hands. “Nest‽”
“I’m sorry, I just thought…”
I cut her off, “I didn’t drag a couch all the way up the mountain just for you to build a freaking nest instead.”
“I just didn’t want to be a burden…”
I threw her on the couch and wagged a finger at her. “No nesting!”
“Yes, sir,” she answered obediently.
I walked to the wardrobe and threw her the blanket that she just put in. “This blanket is yours now. And if you get cold, there are plenty more inside.”
She sat straight on the couch, hugging the blanket on her big breasts. “Jacob…”
I sighed. “I said no nesting, and that’s final!”
“Yes, of course. I promise. It’s just… I was hoping… You see…”
“Oh, just say what’s on your mind.”
“I appreciate what you did for me very much. But the thing is, I was alone for all this time. I would really like to be with you tonight, if that’s okay with you.”
“With me in the cabin?”
“No. With you in the same nest.” She gasped. “I mean bed. In the same bed with you. Not nest! No nesting shall take place. Just your body against mine without any nesting whatsoever!”
I cocked my head. “Are you sure?” I pointed to my bed. “I’m a big guy, so I do have a big bed. There’s plenty of space for the two of us. Also, there will be freezing temperatures during the night. We could keep each other warm. I just didn’t think you’d trust me enough.”
She put the blanket to the side and stood up from the couch. “I trust you.” She walked to me and hugged me. “Take me to your bed, Jacob.”
“Y… Yes,” I stuttered as I led her to my couple’s bed which had been a pain in the ass to carry to the cabin. “Make yourself comfortable. I’ll just put some wood on the fire to keep us warm during the night.”
I heard the sounds of whisking sheets behind me as I fed the fire. If I didn’t know better, I’d think she was making a nest out of them.
Before I headed to bed myself, I stopped by the wardrobe and put on some dry clothes. Usually, I just slept naked, but this was a special circumstance.
As I closed the wardrobe, I saw the most beautiful of sights. Fluttershy kneeled on the bed, awaiting me. The sheets were polished around her, smooth on the whole bed without even a single wrinkle.
“Keep me company, Jacob.” She extended her hands toward me. “I don’t want to be alone.”
I approached and the fingers slit up my chest.
“I want to get to know you better.” She started to unbutton my shirt.
“Well, ask away, I guess,” I hesitantly said.
“I don’t need words for exploration.” Fluttershy freed the last button on my shirt. “I just need you. Let me see you.” She spread my shirt and immediately blushed.
“What?” I panicked. “What’s wrong?”
“So many muscles!” she squeaked as she brushed her fingers across my abs. “How can you be as strong as a werewolf?”
“I’m just a woodcutter,” I said modestly. “I have to be strong to do my job.”
She stood up and forced the shirt down my arms, revealing my biceps. A delightful squeak followed immediately.
I half-closed my eyes and asked, “Have you even been with a man before?”
She shook her head and softly said, “I’ve never been with a human male before.” She bit her lip as she gazed into my eyes and gulped nervously.
“Are you sure I’m the first one you want to spend the night with then?”
Instead of answering me, she lunged forward, kissing me with her soft lips. “Mwah!”
I could taste honey on her delightful lips.
It wasn’t a mere kiss for it evolved further. Our tongues joined the party. They danced around, brushing against each other in a passionate, long-lasting French kiss.
With a big smile, she pulled away while palming her hand. As she did so, the strips of her dress slipped from her shoulders down her arms, yet her eyes remained fixed on me.
My gaze shifted to the revealed treasure that were her breasts. They were like prisoners trying to break out of the clothing cocoon. Being the helpful guy I am, I helped them escape the prison.
“Do you like what you see?” Fluttershy asked softly.
