1. That Winter Night.......
It was past midnight as you sat at the bar, sipping a 44 % proof Sweet Apple Vodka. It was the anniversary of that night. The night you had come home, to greet your family, when you had actually entered your worst nightmare, a living Tartarus.........

"Honey, kids, Im home!" You called out, as you entered your home. Something was'nt right. The smell of fear reekd, furniture was overturned, when a scream rang out in the silence. "Fluttershy!" you screamed, un-holstering your pistol and charging up the stairs. The walls were peppered with bullet holes, and dark stains. Celestia no. You thought, running into the bedroom. 3 armed and masked ponies, 2 Pegasus stallion and a lean Unicorn mare turned quickly to you. "Buck! The homeowner's here!" The Pegasus with the 12 gauge shotgun yelled, raising his shotgun to you. Reacting with lightning speed for an Earth Pony, you fired 3 bullets into the heads of the assailants, blood covering the bullet holes, as they fell to the ground, groaning.
Turning quickly, you saw your worst nightmare, the bodies of your fillies, ravaged beyond recognition, you felt sick to your stomach. That's when you heard a shrill, but loud cry from your bedroom. "Maximum!" You heard your wife, Fluttershy scream. Gathering all your strength, you bucked down your weathered bedroom door, it falling from its hinges. Inside, the sight within made your blood freeze in fear. A large, hulking, masked Pegasus pony, wearing an all black leather outfit, weilding an AK-47, holding your wife's head, pointing his rifle at her head. "Let her go! Let my wife go your motherbucker!" You yell, pointing your pistol sights inbetween his eyes. Tear spring to Fluttershy's eyes, pleading for you to help. "Hmph, you Royal guards, always playing the hero. Well, not this time, buddy colt." The stallion says, begining to squeeze the trigger. "No!" You yell, though it is too late, as a resounding BANG, echoes around the room, and your wife's silent body is thrown onto your bed. "No! No!" You yell in a blind rage, as you empty your remaining clip into the stallion's arm, staggering him, causing hom to fall to the floor. Tossing away your now empty psitol, you begin beating the scum with your hooves.
After ,you had gotten up, and looked over your wife's motionless body. "Fluttershy, please, Celestia, p-please, no." You say quietyl, tears stinging your eyes as you hold your wife's body to yours, stroking her mane, pleading for her to move.
It never came.
You took out your Eyephone, and called your partner Ace.
The service was beautiful, just as she would have like it. You think, rentering the present. As you downed the last of your vodka, you remember her friends, the remaining Elements of Harmony, gathered around, tears streaming their eyes that rainy day.
As you stagger outside the Colt's Regret bar and tavern, you get a call from Ace. "Y-yeah, hat iz it?" you say, the stink of booze on your snout. "Maxey, we got 'im, meet you at Hooflen Metro." You quickly close your phone, insert it into your jacket, and rush off to Hooflen Metro. "It's about bucking time." you think, as you rush into the stormy August night.........
