Chapters "Thanks guys for coming over to my slumber party!" Pinkie squealed. "My parents are out of town and they said I could have a slumber party! This is going to be so much fun!"
"No problem, Pinkie. You know slumber parties at your place are always a blast!" Rainbow Dash said. "Also do you have the new Tirek's Revenge game?"
Pinkie showed a sly smile. "I don't know..." She held it up. "Do I?"
Rainbow Dash's eyes widen in excitement. "You got it?!" That's awesome!" Pinkie turned the T.V on put the game in the console. "Hey, Fluttershy?"
"Oh um...yes, Rainbow?" Fluttershy stammered.
"How about you grab a controller and play with me?" Rainbow suggested.
"Umm I don't think I'm good though. Especially not at games like these."
"Come on, it will be fun! Please?"
"Oh alright," Fluttershy smiled. "Maybe one round won't hurt."
"Awesome!" Rainbow handed Fluttershy the second controller and they started playing together. Meanwhile Sunset, Rarity, and Twilight were doing each other's nails.
"Oh my, the aqua blue looks so marvelous!" Rarity gasped taking a look at her nails that Sunset did for her. She had to admit, it suited her very well. Sunset's nails were a bright red done by Twilight. The latter's nails were bright purple.
"Fluttershy! You didn't tell me you were a gamer! You're goated at this!" Rainbow said in amazement as she saw Fluttershy played.
"I say, I think you can learn a thing or two from Fluttershy," Spike grinned. Rainbow rolled her eyes but started to laugh.
"Well it's actually easy. All I'm doing is pressing buttons," Fluttershy said while slightly blushing. The doorbell rang and Pinkie ran out of the room and came back with 6 boxes of pizza. The girls started to eat and then hung out for a while more. At 12:30 am AppleJack started to yawn.
"I don't know about yall but I'm starting to get beat," She said
"You know, now that you mention it, I'm also starting to feel tired as well," Rarity said yawned as well. The girls decided to get ready for bed. They all took turns in the showers until they were all done. Once they were all in their sleeping bags they wondered what they were going to do tomorrow.
"How about the mall? I heard they got some brand new outfits I wanna try," Rarity suggested.
"I'm down with that," Sunset said. "How about you guys?"
The other girls agreed. They all said goodnight to each other and turned in for the night.
*5:24 am*
A scream from outside caused all the girls to wake up in a jolt.
"What was that?!" Rarity whispered.
"I don't know but I think we should check it out!" Rainbow said as she bolted out the door. Not caring if she was still in her pajamas.
"Hey wait up!" Rarity shouted after her as she too ran out the front door. Sunset rubbed her eyes as she got up and so did the rest of her friends. Another loud sound erupted once again but this time it sounded like an inhuman screech. Now that they were somewhat awake, they raced towards the source of the noise and what they saw threw them for a surprise. Rarity screamed, Fluttershy almost fainted, and the rest of the girls only looked in terror. There was a bloody, mutilated corpse of a man on the floor. It looked like something straight from a horror movie.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" AJ shouted. Rarity continued to scream in terror. Surely this was just a nightmare? but no matter how hard she pinched herself, she wouldn't wake up. The sound of the inhuman screech appeared again and a creature came flying towards them. It was something none of the girls had seen before. A hybrid between a Pegasus and a bat. It's coat was yellow with a pink mane. The eyes were dark red. Judging from it's manestyle, it looked like a female but the most shocking thing was it resembled Fluttershy. The creature let out a terrifying screech as it charged at AJ. The latter barely had enough time to react using her super strength to counterattack but the batpony only got up again and flew at her. She screeched and opened her mouth showing her razor sharp teeth and fangs ready to bite the farm girl's head clean off. Rarity made a diamond forcefield to save her friend as Rainbow then used her super speed and was about to knock the creature away but somehow, the batpony was able to react and used it's hind legs to buck the rainbow-haired girl sending her sprawling to the ground. Sunset ran to Rainbow's aid and they saw the batpony about to charge at them once more until...
"I think that's quite enough, Flutterbat." A new voice said. A young man approached them. He was light skinned and had black hair. He also wore a black blazer with a white collared undershirt and matching pants. Flutterbat obeyed and immediately stopped attacking. She flew towards the man and landed next to him. He wasn't the only one to show up. The girls looked around and saw there were several people surrounding them. They too wore the same attire. All of them had their guns pointed towards the girls. The one who spoke seemed to be the leader. "What you think? Pretty cool right?" He laughed.
"Hey, what's the big idea!" Rainbow Dash shouted angrily. She raised her fists but the man seemed unfazed.
"No one is stopping you from killing me, buuuut..." He looked over at Flutterbat who glared at Rainbow and showed her fangs and sharp teeth. "Doing so will have some pretty negative consequences," he chuckled. "Now tell me, what are you girls doing on such a fine morning?"
"What are we doing?! We could ask you the same thing!" Rarity gasped. "Why I oughta rip you apart!". As much as the others girls wanted to do the same thing, it would be backfire. Flutterbat was too strong for any of them.
"Who are you?" Fluttershy asked timidly.
"How rude of me, I never introduced myself! I'm Ande, leader of the Blood Shadows." The sounds of several guns clicking was heard as the girls looked around themselves. "See, we do have quite a reputation," he smiled. "Unfortunately for you, we can't have any witnesses alive." He turned to his men. "Kill them," he ordered.
Gunshots were heard deflecting off of Rarity's shield. "We...c-can't stay like this forever!" she was struggling to hold the shield up. Eventually it gave in and broke. AJ wasted no time going in for the attack. She tackled one of the men to the ground and started to beat him. Ande laughed and pointed his gun at AJ and was about to open fire until he felt some invisible force throw him across the street hitting a car. He groaned in pain. This made Flutterbat furious as she let out an ear piercing screech and flew towards Twilight ready to tear her into shreds. Until AJ hit Flutterbat making enough time for Twilight to get away. Flutterbat, however was not to be defeated that easily. She got back up and used her hind legs to buck AJ. The farm girl gasped for air.
Meanwhile Rainbow Dash and Rarity were busy dodging bullets until the former had an idea. "Rarity, remember that thing I always wanted to try if we ever get into something like this? I wanna try it now!" Rarity created two pairs of diamond shards. One end was the handle while the other was sharp. She handed the shards to Rainbow Dash who put the blunt parts between her fingers. "OH YEAH IT'S TIME TO KICK SOME ASS!" She shouted. She used her super speed and locked onto her first target. The unfortunate gang member had no time to react as Rainbow used her shards to gruesomely slice him.
He let out a scream of pain as she flipped him over and got on top of him and started to slice his face. Blood was everywhere. A truly graphic scene. Another gang member tried to attack with a switchblade from behind. He was about slit Rainbow's throat until she quick turned around and used the shards to stab him right in the eye. He let out a scream as Rainbow continued to repeatedly stab him in the face, creating another bloody mess
AppleJack used her strength to grab one of the member's arm and made him shoot the others. She then bent it the other way breaking his arm making him scream. She kicked him in the face while another charged at her with a knife but a blur of Rainbow zoomed past him and the next thing he knew, he was gasping for air as his throat was slit. He fell over dead. Rainbow grabbed a couple of guns from the corpses and handed it to Fluttershy and Sunset "Catch!"
Fluttershy caught the gun. "Wait, Rainbow! I don't-" A screech interrupted her as she saw Flutterbat flying towards her. Fluttershy let out a yelp causing her to react and pull the trigger. The bullet hitting Flutterbat in the forehead but not coming close to killing her. The batpony resumed it's pursuit until AJ intervened. She kicked Flutterbat sending her flying across the street but she wasn't finished. She picked up a car and hurled it at the creature hitting it.
Sunset aimed the gun at a member's head and opened fire, hitting him square on. He fell to the ground. A few others tried to shoot her but she react quicker, shooting them in the head until they all met the same fate as the first one.
"Sunset look out!" Rainbow shouted. Sunset turned around and saw one try to shoot her. Just like before, she aimed for the head but the gun clicked showing it was out of ammo.
After awhile Ande decided it would go on forever fighting these girls. "Stop," he ordered Flutterbat. The creature obeyed and ceased attacking. He turned towards the girls. "You know, you're all more capable than I thought so I'll tell you what. We'll let you off the hook this one time but don't try to interfere with us again, got it?"
"And what if we do?" Rainbow challenged.
"Well like I said. There's no one stopping you, but if you value your own life then I'd reconsider." He chuckled as FlutterBat showed her sharp fangs.
He got back in his car and drove off, followed by the other members. After the fight AJ asked everyone, "Are y'all alright?"
Rarity and Fluttershy looked white. They nodded their heads but were unable to speak at the moment.
"What...was that creature?" Rainbow asked.
"She looked like something that would come Equestria," Sunset said thoughtfully. "But it doesn't make sense. If she was from over there, she should be a human."
"Well we can figure this out later. I'd say we stop by the mall and grab something to eat," Rarity suggested. "This morning was not how I planned to start the day." Everyone agreed and went back inside the house to get ready. When they all got in the car, they drove to the mall while Pinkie put on the radio. Instead of music, however it was the news.
"Another body found mutilated on the side street of Canterlot City," One voice said
"The unknown creature has struck again with a vicious attack," said another.
"This is bad, yall," AJ said with concern. "The creature is on the loose and killing people left and right. We gotta do something!"
"I agree, but she's practically impossible to kill," Rainbow said. "It's like she knows our every move!"
"There's gotta be a weakness she has," Sunset wondered. "Maybe we can use that to our advantage."
"But what weakness would Flutterbat have, Sunset?" Rarity asked. "She's shown to be capable fighting someone with literal super strength and then she was able to react to Rainbow Dash's super speed."
"I...don't know but we'll figure it out." Sunset said.
They pulled into the parking lot mall and went inside. Inside, they overhead everyone talking about the attack that happened just this morning. It seemed like that was all anyone wanted to discuss about. While waiting in line, they noticed Spike, but he was being petted by a child who looked about 10 years old. He was a light skinned boy. He had brown hair and wore a gray shirt along with a brown jacket and jeans. He was smiling and giggling as he petted Spike. A woman came over to him. She had long hair that reached past her shoulders. She wore a light blue blouse with white jeans. From the similar hair and skin color, the girls assumed it was his mother.
"There you are, sweetie. I told you to stay close to me." The woman said. "And it's not polite to pet someone's dog without asking first."
"Sorry, mom but I just saw him and he's so cute!"
His mother smiled. "I know, but it's still considerate to ask first."
Twilight noticed and stepped in. "Oh it's alright really. I'm sure your son wasn't meaning any harm. And Spike does love being pet."
Spike barked happily and ran over to the boy wagging his tail.
The child giggled and gave Spike a scratch behind the ears. He stopped and asked the girls, "Have you heard about the creature?"
His mother giggled. "Comet, I'm sure they know about it.
"We already do, it's what everyone is talking about, the only thing is how we stop her." Rainbow said.
"Well as much as we would love to chat, we must get going but it was nice meeting you...umm"
"Rainbow Dash," Rainbow said. "And these are my friends. Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, AppleJack, and Twilight Sparkle."
The mother smiled at them. "Well it was nice meeting you all, and I'm Aisha by the-" A scream interrupted them as they heard a loud screech. Flutterbat was in the mall as the guests were panicking. Screams of terror filled the mall as they trampled each other trying to get out. Flutterbat was ready to attack the unfortunate worker at the front end of the Jewlery store. The girls saw the two men with the creature and recognized their blazer attire. One of them shot a few rounds in the air.
"Everyone, on the ground!" one of the men shouted.
"Nobody move!" Shouted another. Everyone in the store were terrified as they obeyed. They got on their stomachs with their hands behind their heads.
The second one pointed a gun at the worker. "Not you. Here's what you're going to do. You are going to go to the back, and open the safe for us." The worker was frozen with fear so the gang member shot one of the customer in the head, killing him. Now everyone was even more scared for their lives. "I'm going to start shooting if you don't get moving!" He threatened. "Or I'll have this lovely creature make a snack out of you!" He laughed.
"Okay, just p-please don't k-kill anyone else," The worker said shakily. He was about to go in the back until he saw 7 girls flying towards them. The Main 7 were all in their pony-up forms and had came to the rescue. AJ went for Flutterbat first, punching the creature which resulted in an attempted counterattack via bite. AJ punched again sending Flutterbat flying across the room. At one point, the batpony managed to catch AJ off guard and throw her to the ground. Flutterbat was about to make the kill when a diamond shield protected AJ. The creature kept on pounding the shield with her hooves but Rarity kept holding it up. One of the gang members saw this and charged at Rarity with a knife but Rainbow Dash intervened.
"You fuck with my friends, you have me to deal with!" She shouted. The gang member aimed for Rainbow's head and tried to stab her but the latter grabbed his arm and flipped him over on his back. She grabbed the knife from him but then he punched her giving him time to escape. The other gang member took out his gun and began to open fire. His first intended victim going to be Sunset Shimmer. The red head and her friends took cover behind the cash register as gunshots were head firing all over. Sunset quickly peeked and shot a few shots hitting one of the members in the shoulder. He shouted in pain but was still alive. Twilight used her magic to fight back but Flutterbat knocked her down. Before Twilight had time to react, she felt a strong pair of hind legs kick her sending her crashing through the glass doors. Her friends panicked and rushed to her aid but Flutterbat was ruthless. She kept on attacking while one of the members pulled out his gun but AJ attacked him. A fight ensued between them. AJ grabbed him by the legs and tossed him to the wall. He groaned and tried to get back up but Flutterbat came to the rescue. She bucked AJ to the wall as the member took out his knife and got on top of her. He held her down and readied to bring the knife to her throat. AJ grabbed his arm holding the knife. She flipped him over on his back, then she grabbed his knife and stabbed him in the throat. He tried to scream but ended up drowning in his own blood.
The other gang member realized he did not want to meet the same fate so he took off running with Flutterbat flying behind him. After the attack everyone was still on the ground, too scared to move. Sunset Shimmer was making sure everyone was ok.
"Is everyone ok?"
Aside from the two dead bodies on the floor, everyone started to calm down. The girls saw Comet with a surprise look on his face.
"You girls have magic?!" he said excitedly. "And you're superheroes!"
Rainbow chuckled. "You could say that, kiddo. We do save the world at time to time."
Aisha put her hands on her son's shoulders and smiled at the Main 7. "This is fascinating. I haven't seen any other types of magic besides the ones I work with."
"Wait you work with magic too?!" Twilight gasped.
Aisha nodded. "Yes, and I too am looking for Flutterbat, but now that I see what you girls can do, I want to ask if you all would help me."
"Are you kidding?! Of course we would!" Rainbow beamed. "Anything to help us get rid of that evil creature!" Her friends agreed as Aisha smiled warmly. She took out a piece of paper and handed it to Rainbow.
"Here is my address. We can meet tomorrow and discuss further and thank you for everything."
"You can count on us!" Rainbow said enthusiastically.
Aisha took her son's hand as they walked away. The girls could not believe someone else other than them knows about the magic in this world.
"Can you believe it, Sunset? Someone else rather than us knows about magic here!" Rainbow said.
"Actually, a few people did get there hands on magic...and then they turned into these bad people," Pinkie pointed out.
"Well I think Aisha seems pretty genuine," Rarity said. "I truly think she has good intentions."
"I believe so too, Rares but we should just be on our guard just in case." AJ told her.
"Well we can talk about this later, let's get some food to eat. I'm starving!"
At the food court, the girls were eating their meals when Sunset wondered if the Flutterbat they fought was actually Fluttershy from Equestria.
"You don't think that Flutterbat is actually the Fluttershy from Equestria do you?" Sunset asked. AJ looked a bit skeptical.
"I don't know. It's best to contact Twilight just to be sure."
"Yeah, you're probably right. I just hope she doesn't think I'm loosing it," Sunset said taking out her journal.
"Sunset, A lot of weird things happen in this world and Princess Twilight knows it. This isn't anything new!" Rainbow told her.
Sunset began writing in her journal.
Hey, Twilight. This question is going to sound completely random but is Fluttershy with you? If not I think she might be over here. I don't know how it happened but she somehow turned into a bat-pony hybrid and then started attacking everyone. I know I sound crazy and I don't blame you for thinking I am

"Guess we'll have to wait until she replies," Rarity said. After they were done eating they decided to shop around a bit more. Rarity and Sunset went to a nearby clothing store. In it, they were checking out outfits. Sunset picked out a white jacket with golden patterns on the side.
"Hey, Rarity. How do I look?" she smirked as she tried it on.
"Absolutely stunning! It really fits your style."
Rarity picked out new shoes and a few skirts to wear. After about 15 minutes, they paid for it at the register and left. Once everyone was done shopping, they got back in their car and mapped the address to Aisha's house. While driving, Rarity turned on the talk radio for more updates. As predicted, more bodies were found slaughtered. It was very clear this creature needed to be killed. Once they pulled up to Aisha's house, they parked the car and got out. They went to the front door and rang the doorbell.
"This is a really nice house," Rarity commented.
"Yeah, and look at that Porsche!" Rainbow exclaimed looking at the silver colored vehicle. "I would love to drive one of those!"
A young woman answered the door but it was not Aisha. She had light blonde hair that reached past her shoulders. She wore a dark gray skirt and black shirt.
"Oh, you must be who Aisha was talking about!" She said cheerfully. "Please come inside!" The girls followed the woman inside and into the living room. "Oh and let me introduce myself. I'm Laila Blossom, but you can just call me Laila.
"Well it's a pleasure meeting you, Laila. I'm Rarity." Rarity said. The rest of the girls introduced themselves respectively,
"Sunset Shimmer."
"Rainbow Dash."
"AppleJack."
"Fluttershy."
"Pinkie Pie."
"Twilight Sparkle."
"It's great to meet you all, now why don't you stay right there while I go get Aisha for you?" Laila said as she left the room. While they waited, Sunset's journal vibrated. She opened her journal to see Twilight's reply.
Hi, Sunset
I saw your message and want to let you know Fluttershy is here with me, so I'm not exactly sure what's going on. It seems like you guys are in danger. I'll try to be over there to help as soon as I can. Something is going on I can just tell.

Sunset closed her journal and told her friends about Twilight's reply. "Twilight told me that the Flutterbat who's been attacking us is not the Fluttershy in her world."
"So you're saying that Flutterbat is NOT the Fluttershy from Equestria?" Rainbow asked.
"But how can that be? I can't think of any explanation for this," Rarity wondered.
"Maybe Flutterbat is a super evil doppelganger of Fluttershy!" Pinkie gasped.
"I highly doubt that, Pinkie." AppleJack told her. "But it is strange, nonetheless."
Laila came back with Aisha who smiled at them. "Alright, Aisha. I'll be heading home now. Just send me a text if you need anything." Laila said
"No problem. Have a good night," Aisha said as her friend left. After that she turned her attention to Sunset and her friends. "I'm so glad you're here. Can I get you anything to drink?" The girls politely declined. "Alright then, follow me."
"I'll catch up with you in a bit. Do you know where the bathroom is?" Rainbow asked.
Aisha pointed down the hall. "Down the hall third door to your right."
"Thanks," Rainbow replied.
The rest of the girls followed Aisha where she led them to the basement. At first it was dark and they could not see anything until Aisha turned the light switch on. What they saw made them gasp in shock. It was a full on laboratory with numerous machines and science equipment. All the girl's were surprised, especially Twilight who had a laboratory of her own.
"You have a lab? That's so cool!" Twilight squealed. "And I thought mine was cool!"
"You have one too?" Aisha asked interested.
"Yea but it's nowhere as cool as this hehe." Twilight chuckled slightly.
Aisha walked over to one of the safes and punched in a code. In it was a syringe she took out with a glowing red liquid inside. "This right here is the key to defeating Flutterbat. So I need your help to capture her for me so I can put an end to her terror. Don't worry if you have to fight her. Nothing else will kill her except this."
Rainbow Dashed stepped out of the bathroom and went to go look for her friends when she accidentally bumped into Aisha's son.
"Umph!" Comet exclaimed. "Sorry!"
"Don't worry, kiddo. It was my fault I wasn't watching where I was going." Rainbow said. She noticed he had dropped a keychain and on it was the PostCrush Logo. "Oh! You're a fan of Post Crush?" She smirked.
Comet's face turned red with embarrassment. As much as he didn't want to admit, he had no idea how Rainbow would react. "I umm not...exactly," he stammered.
Rainbow realized her mistake. "Wait I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry. I just think it's really cool you're a fan." She was hoping Comet would not see her as someone who just made fun of him for liking a pop star duo. She saw he was still uncomfortable so she thought of something to make him feel a bit easier. "If it makes you feel any better, two of of my friends, Sunset and Pinkie are huge fans."
That seemed to get the child's interest. "Wait really? How long have they been a fan?"
"Beats me. Probably when they first heard about them." Rainbow chuckled. "So what song is your favorite?"
"True Original!" Comet said confidently. "I just can't get that out of my head!"
"That song is really cool not going to lie," Rainbow admitted. "I'm not a huge fan myself but I do enjoy listening to them at time to time." She gave him back his keychain. "And I'm also guessing you went to one of their concerts judging by the keychain."
"Mhm. One of my friend's mom took us to see a concert. It was really fun! The best moment in my life even!" But then...my friends and I stopped hanging out."
"Oh...I'm sorry," Rainbow said a bit sad.
"No I mean we're still friends but my mom doesn't let me go out anymore," Comet explained. "To be honest I don't blame her. There is a man eating creature on the loose."
"You could say that." Rainbow said with a slight laugh.
"Also you're name is Rainbow Dash right?"
Rainbow ran her fingers through her hair. "Gee I don't know. A girl with rainbowed hair can't possibly be called 'Rainbow Dash'" she joked.
Comet giggled at her humor. "So it is you! I think you're powers are so cool! Going really fast that is."
"Oh thank you. My powers are pretty cool!" Rainbow said in a cocky tone. "With them, I'm pretty much unstoppable."
"Wow that's awesome! so you're like a superhero!" The child said happily.
Rainbow chuckled and nodded. "I gotta get going now. I gotta admit you're pretty cool, kiddo." she playfully ruffled his hair. She left to go find her friends leaving Comet alone.
After the girls left for the night, they started to head on home. "So basically we need to capture Flutterbat and bring her here so Aisha can put her down." Rainbow said making sure she got the mission right. Her friends nodded.
"Well she could be anywhere, so we better be on a look out," Sunset warned. "Hopefully when Twilight gets here, she can help us with this task."
The girls got in the car and drove back home. Since this was a special mission, they decided they were going to sleep in the same location in case anything happened. They made their way over to Pinkie's place and got out of the car. They started to hear a strange noise coming towards them.
"Hey, Twilight do you hear something coming towards-" Rainbow was interrupted when she felt a pair of hind legs kick her sending her hitting the side of the car. She groaned in pain. Flutterbat screeched and flew straight towards Rainbow but Twilight used her magic to fling the creature away but it was not very strong and only tossed her a few feet. Flutterbat started to ruthlessly attack the girls while making inhuman screeches. At one point she managed to tackle AppleJack to the ground and was preparing to rip her apart but the farm girl used her superstrength to kick her off. She then grabbed her by the tail and threw her making her hit the wall of a nearby house. Flutterbat quickly got back up and flew towards AppleJack. This time being prepared as it dodged the attack and bucked the latter sending her crashing into Rainbow. Rarity threw a diamond projectile at the creature hindering her attack and was about to go for another until she heard Sunset shout
"Rarity behind you!"
The fashionista spun around to see one of the gang members attack her. He knocked her to the ground and got ready to plunge the knife into her chest until he screamed as a diamond shard came out his forehead. Blood splattered all over Rarity much to her horror as he fell over dead. Rainbow Dash helped Rarity to her feet and more gang members showed up. Rainbow went for her first victim and gruesomely sliced him right in the neck followed by a combo to his face. Another tried to attack with a knife but Rainbow sliced his arm off and used her shards to sever his head. Blood splattered all over her clothes but she didn't care. She was about to go for another kill but Flutterbat intervened. Sunset used her gun to shoot the creature in the forehead. Flutterbat screeched in pain but it did not kill her. If anything, this only made her more angry. Her screeching became even louder as she dodged sunset's bullet and lunged forward until a car came flying hitting her. Twilight hurled another car at Flutterbat and this time, it knocked her unconscious. The gang members decided to retreat with Flutterbat now being temporarily unable to fight. They carried the creature to their cars and drove off.
"Holy shit, that creature is insane!" Rainbow gasped. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"We really need to find a way to bring her back to Aisha," Rarity said.
"Yeah but how can we do that if that creature is just going to keep attacking us every second?!" AppleJack asked.
"And then there's the 'Blood Shadows'!" Rainbow said. "I mean we fought bad guys before but not like them. All the others we fought we easily won!"

During the night, the girls had trouble sleeping mainly due to the fact that Flutterbat was still on the loose. At about 4 in the morning, Fluttershy went downstairs to get a drink of water. The cold surface of the floor made her shiver a little as she walked downstairs. In the fridge was a few unopened bottles along with dozens of whipped cream. This made her a bit confused but she didn't think about it too much. She took the bottle and quietly drank from it. After closing the lid she turned around to go back upstairs and almost had a heart attack. There, standing outside the window was Flutterbat. Fluttershy was too afraid to move. The creature was right outside her window. Staring at the girl. Fluttershy knew Flutterbat could easily break down the window. She waited...and waited but the expected never happen. Flutterbat quickly turned around, letting her mane flow. She flew off leaving Fluttershy confused. Why didn't the creature attack? She had the perfect opportunity. The timid girl went back upstairs and got back in her sleeping bag. For the rest of the night, the girls slept peacefully until morning rose.
"Good morning, everyone!" Pinkie suddenly yelled causing the girls to wake up. They all groaned.
"Well at least it was Pinkie's yelling we woke up to and not that awful shriek from last night," Twilight said still somewhat asleep.
After the girls got ready, they all discussed how they were going to capture Flutterbat and bring her to Aisha. All of them had different ideas.
"I say we lure her using sweet treats, then we capture her!" Pinkie suggested.
"How about I trap her in a crystal sphere so we can bring her back?" Rarity asked.
"I can use my lasso..." AppleJack said.
"Um guys, those seem like great ideas, but we have to keep in mind she's probably not going to be alone so they might not be the best." Sunset told them. Everyone immediately knew what she was talking about.
"Oh them? There just a bunch of pushovers!" Rainbow scoffed. "I can easily wipe them out! You saw how I sliced one of their heads clean off right?"
"Oh yeah...It was pretty graphic," AppleJack muttered.
Sunset was about to say something when her journal buzzed. She took a look at the message. "Princess Twilight is going to come here any minute now."
"Oh good! I know she'll be able to help us," Rarity said.
After the girls got ready they got in the car and drove to the Canterlot High statue where they would meet Princess Twilight.
After waiting for about 15 minutes, the portal glowed and out stepped Princess Twilight. Everyone was obviously happy to see her. They enveloped her in a group hug.
"Oooh I'm so happy you're here!" Pinkie said excitedly. "Did you hear about the blood thirsty monster on the loose?!"
"Pinkie, that's the whole reason she's here," Sunset chuckled.
"How you been, sugarcube?" AppleJack asked.
Princess Twilight smiled at them. "It's great to see you all again and I'm doing good thank you." She noticed her human counterpart and smiled at her. The human Twilight returned the smile.
"If it helps avoiding any confusion, I'm fine with going by 'Sci-Twi' if that's okay," Twilight's human counterpart said. The girls all agreed on it.
"Alright then, I'll go by Twilight," Princess Twilight said.
"How about we grab a bite over at the Sweet Shoppe, and we can discuss what's been going on?" Rarity suggested.
"That sounds like a good idea, Rarity. I am kind of hungry," Twilight said. They all went in the car and drove over to Sweet Shoppe. While on the ride, AppleJack turned on the radio and one of Post Crush's song was playing which was True Original. Hearing this made Rainbow Dash remember that Comet was also a huge fan.
"Hey that song reminds me that Aisha's son is a huge fan." Rainbow said.
"Wait really?!" Pinkie said with excitement.
"He likes Post Crush?" Sunset said with interest.
"Oh yeah, he told me he was a huge fan. I actually thought that was pretty cool," Rainbow said. "At first, he seemed really shy about it so I told them you and Pinkie were fans to help him feel better."
Sunset smiled as they pulled over at Sweet Shoppe. They went inside and ordered their foods. While they waited, they told Twilight everything that had happened. Even though she already got the picture she felt she needed to hear what happened again.
"So based on what you're telling me, there's this creature that looks a lot like Fluttershy but is a hybrid between a pegasus and bat?" Princess Twilight asked. Her friends nodded.
"Hey, Twilight, didn't you mention earlier you also dealt with another Flutterbat creature?" Sunset asked as she remembered what Twilight had mentioned earlier in her message.
"Yeah, I dealt with another Flutterbat," Twilight laughed a little. "But the one I dealt with didn't seem to be as..." She paused for a moment trying to find the right word. "Aggressive."
"That's putting it mildly, darling," Rarity told Twilight. "The one we're dealing with is a savage blood thirsty creature."
"That's...pretty disturbing," Twilight shuddered. "I mean the one from my world was aggressive too but it mainly went after apples. You're saying the one here attacks humans?
The girls nodded. "About like 40 people had already been killed," AJ said with a serious tone. "And it's not a pretty sight either."
"I umm actually saw her last night while you guys were asleep," Fluttershy spoke up. All the girls turned to look at her.
"What?! You mean you saw her?! Did she try to attack you?!" Rainbow asked with shock and worry.
"No, actually. That's the confusing part. She was outside and just...flew away."
"So you're saying that Flutterbat legit saw you and just flew away not even attacking?" Sunset asked. Fluttershy nodded. She was very confused and so were her friends.
"Maybe it's because you look like her so she decided you were on her side?" Pinkie suggested.
"I mean that's the only possible explanation," Rainbow said. "But that's the least of our concerns. We're still trying to figure out how she got here."
"Oooh maybe someone breeded a bat and a pony together!" Pinkie said.
"Pinkie, I don't think that's genetically possible," Sci-Twi told her. "And even if it was there's two things wrong with that theory. One, Flutterbat has wings so the chance of a bat and pony having an offspring with wings is impossible. Two, it wouldn't explain why she's so hell bent on tearing our flesh apart."
"Sci-Twi does have a point, Pinkie." AppleJack said. "Especially the last part, no creature is born that way."
"Hey, AppleJack going back to when you said Flutterbat's killings were not a pretty sight, did you mean like gruesome?" Twilight asked.
AppleJack nodded. "Mhm. Very gruesome indeed." Just saying it made her shudder at the thought of the corpses.
"Just like how Rainbow sliced someone's face!" Pinkie suddenly said.
"WHAT?!" Twilight asked clearly shocked.
"Another thing is that Flutterbat isn't alone. There's this group she's always with who they call themselves the 'Blood Shadows'." Sunset quickly explained.
"I only did it to defend myself and my friends," Rainbow said. "I don't know where they came from but I think it's safe to assume they are not from your world. They were from over here it seems."
"They've done nothing but spread terror across town," Rarity said. The girls continued to talk for a little while more until their order arrived and ate.
Somewhere in a rural part of town, stood quite a few safe houses. All of them were occupied by the members of the Blood Shadows including their leader. Who was sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette. Ande saw one of his members come up to him.
"Sir, what should we do about those girls?" he asked. Ande only chuckled as he took the cigarette out of his mouth.
"Don't worry about them. Sure they may have super powers but I doubt they can handle Flutterbat. After all I did tell her to take it easy a bit. If they piss me off however, I might just tell her to go full ape shit on them." He continued to laugh some more as he put out as he put his cigar back in his mouth.

The girls continued to eat as Rainbow asked, "Hey, Twilight, how did you stop Flutterbat in your world?" Twilight scratched the back of her head.
"Well you see...the way I stopped her was kind of strange."
"Oh, how so, darling?" Rarity asked.
"It's hard to explain but we used a mirror to defeat our Flutterbat." Twilight said.
"A mirror?" Sunset said looking interested. "You're telling me you used a mirror to defeat your Flutterbat?"
"I think she means she showed her world's Flutterbat's own reflection and that somehow put a stop to her." AJ said looking at Twilight for a confirmation. The latter nodded.
"But I don't think that's going to work on this one," Twilight said sadly.
"Not to mention this one is actually much more aggressive," Pinkie added. "I mean we fought monsters and demons before but this is crazy!"
"And this one seems like an actual threat," Fluttershy added.
"Well the others we fought were threats too," Pinkie said.
"What I think Fluttershy is trying to say is that this one we're facing right now is our biggest challenge," Sci-Twi said. "And one where we might have to actually defeat instead of making them our friend."
Before anything else could be said, a scream was heard down the street. It looked like it came from the bank!
"Looks like they need our help!" Sunset said. Together she and her friends except Twilight transformed into their pony ups and raced down the streets. Just like they predicted, Flutterbat was there along with the Blood Shadows. Ande was there too. He was standing back watching with a sadistic smile.
"Hey! You think you're going to get away with this?!" Rainbow shouted. She took out her weapon of shards and sped up towards him only to be bucked by Flutterbat. She hit the wall hard. Ande only laughed. He dropped his gun and knife and put his hands up.
"Go ahead, young lady. I'm all open to attack," He said. Rainbow Dash got back up and tried to charge at him again but was met with the same result of getting bucked. This time, it seemed to harder to get back up. Sunset ran to help her up. A sadistic laugh escaped from his mouth. "What's wrong? You're obviously more powerful so you shouldn't struggle against me." The girls realized they were surrounded by Ande's henchmen. All guns were pointed towards them. "And if I remember, I warned you not to interfere with us again, but you didn't listen." He whistled and Flutterbat came to his side. "Kill them," he ordered.
Flutterbat screeched and charged towards the girls as Ande calmly stepped aside. Rarity threw a diamond shield temporarily knocking the creature down. But unfortunately, Flutterbat was not the only threat. Rainbow Dash used her powers to go after some of the Blood Shadow members. She used her crystal shards and attacked the first one right underneath the chin. Blood splattered on her as the shards came out of the top his head. Before he had time to scream, she sliced his head off and went after the next. This one tried to attack with a switchblade aiming for her neck but Rainbow used her speed to counterattack with a slice to the eye. He screamed in pain as Rainbow took his switch blade and flipped him over. Then she proceeded to stab him multiple times in the face until it was an unrecognizable bloody mess. The third one didn't even have a chance to attack because Rainbow threw the switchblade right at his neck. She ran towards him and took the knife out of his throat, watching as he bled from his injury. Meanwhile Sunset and Sci-Twi were hiding behind the bank counter. Sunset had her gun but she didn't have that much ammo left. She peeked around and managed to shoot one of Ande's henchmen in the head, killing him. Sunset saw Flutterbat flying towards her but AppleJack intervened and punched the creature away knocking down two more of the henchmen. Rainbow Dash had just finished killing yet another one after he had tried to pin her down. The unfortunate end was a shard to his neck. Ande looked at the girls in interest. He ordered Flutterbat to stop which she obeyed and flew to his side.
"Who are you?" He asked the girls in a tone that was curious but definitley not afraid.
"We're the ones who are going to beat the ever living shit out of you that's who!" Rainbow growled but Flutterbat gave her a warning hiss.
"Hehe. I don't know why you all can't beat me. I know you all can but you're too afraid." Ande laughed.
"Oh really? We're afraid?" Sunset asked while chuckling. "Coming from a grown adult who can't fight some high school girls without his pony creature?"
"Watch what you say," Ande warned in a low voice. "If I were you I'd be more careful about my word choices. It'll be a shame if someone found your corpses on the streets would it?"
"Fight us then!" Rainbow shouted. "Come on, fight us without your precious bat pony! Let's see how much of a man you really are!"
Ande only laughed. "Desperate are we? I would love to but I simply do not have the time." He walked away back to his car and drove off. Rainbow wanted to go after him but AppleJack held her back.
"It ain't worth it, Rainbow. You know what will happen if you do."
"Do you think...Ande has something to do with Flutterbat's bloodthirsty behavior?" Sci-Twi asked.
"That's the only logical reasoning I can think of!" Pinkie said.
"I agree, but now the question is how?" Sunset said. "He's definitley evil enough to do something like this but he doesn't seem like the one who's capable."
Well I can't see any other possibilities," Rainbow said. "But it doesn't matter. What matters is we get that Flutterbat back to Aisha!" The girls nodded in agreement.
Aisha, and her son were eating dinner together in their household along with Laila who was also there. Aisha and Laila were busy talking with one while Comet silently ate his food. Aisha then noticed he was starting to eat a bit faster than usual. He got up and put his rinsed his finished plate before putting it in the dishwasher.
"Done already, sweetie?" Aisha asked. Comet nodded.
"Yeah...I'll just be...in my room." He said quietly.
"Oh, don't you want any dessert?" She asked.
"No thanks...I'm full." Comet left to go to his room. Leaving Aisha with Laila.
"He's a shy one isn't he?" Laila asked as she looked at Comet leaving.
"He quite is, but he always seems fine with making friends." Aisha said. It was kind of weird that Comet was in a rush finishing his food but she didn't think too much on it. He would usually finish his food a bit faster than usual. For some reason however...It only happened if Laila was with them.
