Chapter 35: Twilight vs. Troyka

The time: One week after the DarkSparkle battle.

A shadowy form heads through the Everfree Forest.  Its hoofbeats convey anger and a thirst for revenge.....  Meanwhile, in Virtuna's arcade, Spike and Rayzor are having a dance-off.  The two dragons laugh as they trade the lead.  When the game was finished, it was a tie!

Spike: Nice one!

Rayzor: Hey, you, too!

The two exchange a high-five, unaware that an old foe was glaring hatefully at them from the outskirts of town.....

???: *GROWL!*

*INTRO SEQUENCE*

After the dance-off, Spike, Rayzor, Trixie and Twilight Sparkle were returning to the library when Rayzor was magically lifted off his feet and tied up with a blanket!

Rayzor, Spike, Trixie and T.Sparkle: !!!!!

The flailing dragon was pulled backwards towards a smirking unicorn mare - one they all remembered.

Rayzor, Spike, Trixie and T.Sparkle: Troyka?!

Troyka: Correct.  And The Amazing and Unbelievable Troyka has returned to reclaim what is rightfully hers!

T.Sparkle: NO!  Rayzor belongs to Trixie now, not you!

Troyka: YOU have no say, Twilight Stupid!

Trixie: You do NOT insult Trixie's friend in that manner, Troyka! Gimme back Rayzor NOW!

Troyka smirks, making Trixie's mouth shut tight, like someone glued her lips together!  Both dragons gasped.

Troyka: Tell you what.  If *points to Twilight Sparkle* YOU can best me in a magic duel, The Amazing and Unbelievable Troyka will return this sad sack of scales to the Worthless and Weak Trixie.  If NOT, then your blue friend over there is going to have to look for another dragon egg to hatch - IF she has the power to!

Trixie whimpers at Twilight Sparkle as Troyka laughs maliciously.  Twilight glared at Troyka as Rayzor struggled to get out of the blanket.

T.Sparkle: You're on, Troyka.....

Troyka smirks as she heads in front of City Hall, Twilight Sparkle following.  Spike hurriedly wrote a letter and sent it.  The two unicorns face each other, Rayzor - in his blanket - hanging in the balance - and from one of the flagpoles.

Rayzor: AH! *shivers*

Troyka sneers at Twilight Sparkle.

Troyka: SO, Twilight Weakle, ready ta lose?!

T.Sparkle: *glare* I don't think so, Troyka.....

The two unicorns go at each other, major spells firing all around.  Where before against DarkSparkle the spells were affecting only each pony's opponent, this time several ponies just watching got caught up in the crossfire.  The action was so fast-and-furious, Princess Celestia flew in to check it out, having been alerted by Spike's emergency letter.

P.Celestia: *angry glare* Troyka.....

Nightmare Moon dove down towards the duel, making herself visible to Twilight Sparkle.  Below, the duel wasn't going well for Princess Celestia's favorite student.  The vengeful Troyka had Twilight Sparkle on the ropes and was about to give the last blow - until Twilight Sparkle saw Nightmare Moon.  Just like what happened with Fluttershy, the mere sight of her was enough to light a fire inside Twilight Sparkle.  Twilight Sparkle put up a barrier, deflecting Troyka's attack into the sky before hitting it with a shot of her own, sending shimmery stars downward.

T.Sparkle: Game over, Troyka.

Troyka: No! NO!

Twilight Sparkle's last attack was to encase Troyka from her neck down in ice while her back legs were a good yard or two off the ground.  Troyka gasped as she found herself in a position where she can't counter.  Princess Celestia lands nearby, glaring at Troyka.

P.Celestia: I'd've thought after our last meeting, you'd've learned to stay away from Trixie and Rayzor.  Seems as if I was mistaken.  Your thirst for revenge knows no limits, Troyka.  I am seriously disappointed in you.  *She holds up the letter to Bitsburgh with her magic*  I was holding back, since I didn't want to see you embarassed, but now it seems as if embarassment is the perfect punishment for you.  *The scroll vanishes, making Troyka gasp*  I'd seriously consider leaving and never returning, for real this time.

The unicorn leaves as Princess Celestia gets Rayzor down and back to Trixie.  The two hug up, all smiles.

T.Sparkle: *looks at Nightmare Moon* I see what Fluttershy was talking about.  Your mere prescence seems to give other ponies hope.

N.Moon: Wh-what?

Rayzor: Yeah, I saw it.  Soon as Twi looked at you, BOOM! It was night-and-day!  *Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon smirk at him*  No pun intended.

First Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon, then Twilight Sparkle, then everypony and the two dragons began laughing.  Troyka, meanwhile, was soon exiled from her hometown and made to live off the land for the rest of her days.  She soon found work, humiliatingly enough, on Pinkie Pie's family's rock farm.
