Except of course a certain rainbow pegasus who was resting on a cloud, she was bored because you see a while ago they stopped watching death battles. She didn't know why, but she liked it and the others did too, they just stopped one day and haven't come back to those "videos" or whatever they called them and had a good time everypony did even Fluttershy while she didn't like the gore she usually picked her side on who would win, then of course the fatality which usually shocked them usually even Rainbow was sometimes. She continued wondering before a familiar voice spoke to her, "Bored Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow knowing who it is answered with a "yeah there was this fun thing that me and the girls would do but now we don't do it anymore." The figure revealed itself to be no other than Discord who was on a nearby cloud. "Oh I see, you miss doing that don't you all the moments watching those "Death Battle" videos and having a blast watching characters battle it out hmm?" Rainbow agreed and continued "Yeah it was fun and heck, even Fluttershy had fun watching." Discord with an enlightened face said, "Oh, yes she did mention that she also watched and yes besides the blood and gore she had a good time especially all of your reactions." But then Discord thought of something that benefited her and the others and suggested the best idea she had ever heard, let alone from Discord. "What if you could watch the battles right in front of you?" Discord asked as Rainbow's head looked up and processed what he had just said, "what do you mean?" Rainbow asked with a mixture of excitement and curiosity present in her voice. "Well, I can use my magic to transport you and the girls to said battle in a protective shield and can watch safely without harm and have fun!" Rainbow suddenly had a happy face and exclaimed "Yes, yes, YES, that's a wonderful idea I'll round up the girls to the castle and we'll get started, thanks Discord!" Before rocketing off for the crystal castle, Discord stood there stunned before saying "your welcome Rainbow." The girls gathered around and they were surprised about the news. "Wow, we're doing Death Battles again! I missed those so much, I had so much fun!" Pinkie proclaimed Applejack agreed "Yeah, it was so much fun seeing them fight it out and all those abilities and origin stories." Twilight continued with "Rainbow this idea sounds like a great idea who first came up with this?" As soon as she asked this question it was answered "Why, yours truly of course." Discord appeared as he walked towards them saying "I'm sort of in a hurry so here's what I'm going to do, I can't get access to the hosts of Death Battle because something is protecting them for now at least, so I will put all the information of the two combatants and then open a portal so you all can watch it." "Um, ok let's watch this then.." Rarity said in a nervous voice as they all were filled with information about the two combatants: Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers and, learned their feats, origins, strengths, weaknesses, and more. They processed everything and knew how bloody this was going to be and noticed, how Jason was killing because of a promise while Michael killed and enjoyed it. The portal opened and they entered without hesitation some were worried and, so they entered with the portal closing. //-------------------------------------------------------// It's time for a spooky Death Battle! //-------------------------------------------------------// It's time for a spooky Death Battle! The six entered this new world and saw that they were in a dark forest as they looked around and saw a jack-o-lantern in the distance it must be Nightmare Night or the closest thing to the fabled holiday. As they looked around in their shield like bubble, they began to hear something deep in the black moonlit woods of that fateful Halloween night within Camp Crystal Lake, they see a figure dragging a body in a sleeping bag through the local cemetery, with a machete dug into the victim. The figure was wearing a standard shirt and jeans but the thing that stood out was the hockey mask on his face. Alongside this, an otherworldly voice is heard speaking which even the six hear......... Pamela Voorhees: "Mother's talking to you... The blackest eyes, the devil's eyes... Kill her... kill her..." A feminine scream is heard echoing immediately after, the girls teleport and while keeping pace, to a blood-covered camp counselor fleeing to a car under a road light. Tripping briefly and falling onto the hood, the young panting girl looks back to see a man who caught up with her. He approaches the counselor, who screams one last time before he soullessly butchers her. He then stares as she drops dead to the ground, blood oozing out of her corpse. The six look in horror at this new figure wearing a mechanic outfit and a white mask which the inside of the eye holes seemed to be that of darkness. Meanwhile, the figure dragging his victim in the sleeping bag comes to a stop and pulls out his machete before turning to see the dead counselor beneath the car, with her killer nowhere to be seen. As the masked Crystal Lake revenant of Jason Voorhees looks on with a dead gaze, he can only notice from behind his shoulder as the pale-faced Boogeyman, Michael Myers, approaches from the dark to stab him in the back with his knife. The ponies watched the battle begin as, Michael plunges his blade into Jason's back. Utterly unfazed by the sneak attack, he slashes at Myers with his machete, who blocks it with his knife in turn. Voorhees kicks Myers in the chest, while Michael quickly responds with another stab. Jason takes another frenzied slash at Michael, but he is prepared this time, dodging it with ease and delivering a stab and slash combo that knocks Jason's machete from his hand. Jason repels him by swinging a corpse, before shoulder-charging him into a tree. Michael turns the tables, shoving Jason against the tree and stabbing him in the gut. Jason grasps at Michael's mask, trying to put up a defense, but Michael brutally and repeatedly impales him, with the final stab pinning him to the tree. As Michael admires his work, a surviving counselor emerges from the woods, looking for the girl who was just slaughtered, unaware of her demise. Sam: "Alex! Where are you?! We gotta go!" Unfortunately, all he does is draw the attention of the seemingly victorious Michael, who slowly begins to walk after him as he flees in the other direction. The six specifically Applejack, looked at the dead looking Jason in sadness and somewhat remorse before catching up with Michael. Unbeknownst to him and the girls, Jason's finger twitches. The counselor runs as hard as he can through the forest, desperately trying to escape Michael. He runs past an axe that has been embedded into a stump, with Myers following closely behind him. He removes the axe with sadistic satisfaction and continues to shadow his prey. The counselor's stamina finally runs out and as he takes deep breaths in a clearing, he scans the area searching for the slasher. He sees nothing, but the iconic breathing of Michael Myers grows until he emerges from the shadows and wounds the counselor with a slash to the back, becoming soaked in blood in the process. Reinvigorated, the counselor continues to flee, unknowingly running past the tree where Myers' knife remains embedded with its supposed victim nowhere in sight. He clambers into his car in a desperate attempt to escape... Sam: "Come on, come on!" ... but his efforts to start the vehicle are in vain as the still-alive Jason Voorhees pulls him out through the window. "He's Alive!" the girls yelled some surprised some happy. As Jason holds him by his neck and tries to deliver the coup-de-grace, Michael intervenes. Having retrieved his knife, he stabs Jason in the back and forces him to relinquish his would-be victim. Enraged at yet another denied kill, he focuses on Myers. The two masked slashers hack away at each other, as the counselor scrambles to the cemetery and takes refuge behind a tombstone. The sounds of fighting slowly fade and the counselor breathes a sigh of relief and rests his head against the grave... until Jason's machete bursts through and impales the unfortunate man through the neck. Having attained his kill, Jason turns his attention to Michael attempting another sneak attack with the axe. This time, he manages to catch Myers' axe and tosses his weapon away, embedding it into a nearby rock. He slashes at Michael's chest, but Myers manages to dodge his attack again, before retaliating by smashing Jason over the head with a headstone. He narrowly manages to avoid being impaled by the point of the axe, but dazed and wounded, he finds himself being pushed towards it by Michael. The girls looked in anticipation with worried faces and wondered if this was the end for Jason Voorhees with a look of worry on their faces. As he resists Myers' attempts to end him, he begins to hallucinate his beloved mother's voice and sees her grave nearby, with her severed head replacing a jack-o'-lantern. Pamela Voorhees: "Kill him, Jason! Kill him! Make mother proud!" Finding strength in his mother's orders, he whips the back of his head into Myers' face, stunning him long enough for Jason to run him through with his machete. However, Myers' own endurance allows him to plunge his knife through the top of Voorhees' head. While the attack disorients Jason, Michael is too wounded to capitalize. Clutching his impaled stomach, he reaches forward trying to grab his knife to end Jason, but he is too slow; Jason recovers in time and manages to retrieve the axe, plunging it into Myers' head. Allowing Michael no quarter, he pulls the knife out of his head and swiftly slices Myers' head from his body, the girls looked with mouths open in horror and shock as the slice sent it flying. Watching Michael's decapitated corpse collapse to the ground, Jason retrieves the axe with Myers' head still attached. Unwilling to take any chances and angered by the trouble that Michael gave him throughout, he slams the axe down on a grave, splitting the head in half and guaranteeing the end of Michael Myers. Satisfied, Jason Voorhees walks off into the foggy woods, accompanied by eerie whispers and awaiting the next time anyone is foolish enough to trespass. The girls looked on in shock as they saw the winner: Jason Voorhees walked off as behind them, the portal opened lending back home as they walked through the portal with shocked faces. //-------------------------------------------------------// (Short) Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// (Short) Epilogue They left the battle with shocked faces as they continued walking before stopping. Rainbow was the first to say "Wow, that was awesome!" Applejack continued with "Yeah what a battle I'm glad that the one I betted actually one, whew that was an intense battle, I hate to say it but I can't wait for the next one." "Yeah I agree with all the information that Discord gave us, it really made us know the characters and everything and their origins." Fluttershy continued "I felt bad for Jason he only kills because of his mother and, the fact that he watched his mother's death happen right in front of him is saddening, but Michael on the other hoof..." "Indeed Michael was plain evil even if he was involved in a cult when he was younger I was routing for Jason for well." Rarity agrees with Fluttershy stating her opinion about Michael and how she was glad Jason won. Discord appeared and stated "How was it girl-" before being hit by something and getting launched out the window at high speeds and exploding into fireworks outside the girls saw who did it was Celestia standing there with a stern look on her face. Celestia started slow and stated "you-didn't-invite-me..." Everyone had shocked faces as they began running for the hills with Celestia flying towards them at high speeds while firing lasers and the other's dodged the beams and ran off into the sunset being chased by a mad ruler of the lands.
