Keket was one of the thousands of Lunar Knights who served Princess Luna. Keket's captain was a knight named Raven Crowe, Keket's first impression was that Raven had issues; this opinion was brought about by Raven's black spiked armor and the sword which had small blades forged into the hilt. Keket was only eighteen and had learned that Raven would butcher someone if necessary - Keket had the bruises from training early that morning. Keket and Raven had shared one thing in common. both possessed enough Threstral blood to be enlisted into the Lunar Guard. "Keket you've arrived. I'm glad to see you I wanted to ask you in private but during training, you hesitated to kill your lunch." "Yes ma'am, I've never killed anything before." "You know that in battle you'll be expected to kill the enemy. I expect you to kill your foe. Even if a civilian attacks you I want you to impale them to the very guard of your hilt. I wouldn't care if you cut them into several pieces as long as they are dead. " "Captain, I'll kill my foe when my life depends on it...to kill someone to that extent would be a war crime. I've seen that extent and I puked for hours looking at the horrors of that extent." "In that case, at lunch, before you eat you'll have to dissect ten rabbits." "That is barbaric! I know that even though you haven't said it yet, those rabbits will still be alive!" "It'll be easy! watch!" Keket felt like throwing up when Raven pulled from the desk a live jackrabbit and dissected it with a letter opener. Raven took the still-beating heart and the corpse; the poor animal was still alive! Raven Crowe then proceeded to smash and rub it all over Keket's coarse cotton blouse. The rabbit squealed then it stopped moving altogether. "Just like that Keket, if you fail at lunch you're killing something cuter than a rabbit at dinner." "You ma'am, are really messed up in the head." "I get the job done, so toughen up and get out of my office. Remember Keket, ten rabbits at lunch." Keket thought of reporting to Luna directly until she recalled seeing a massive scroll of records labeled Raven Crowe. Keket assumed that Raven Crowe was being kept on a tab. Keket stood at five feet three inches - and that was eight inches shorter than Raven Crowe's five feet eleven inches. Keket knew that at some point Raven Crowe would fall due to her level of aggression and violence. "How can one be so heartless and violent?" Keket thought to herself as she mentally tried to prepare to butcher ten rabbits before lunch. "I'm a Lunar Knight and my name means that I'm a guardian of the night - not butcher." Keket was still thinking to herself and failed to see Twilight Sparkle and her friends. "Keket is something bothering you?" asked a girl who was basically Twilight Sparkle in appearance named Starlight Glimmer. "Good morning you Princess Twilight - morning ladies. To answer your question Starlight, yes I am bothered by something." Keket then proceeded to describe her conversation with Raven Crowe. Twilight Sparkle assured Keket that Raven Crowe was being watched and also let Keket know of Raven's immortality and regenerative properties. "Raven is immortal?" "Immortal and we've known of her brutality, but we had no solid proof of her bloodlust until now. The Saddle Arabians have been pillaging the eastern border for a while now and if we go to war I'd hate to see the level of carnage Raven would leave behind." Twilight Sparkle commented. "I am also able to regenerate and to be immortal. I guess if it ever came down to it, I'd be the one who gets to fight Raven Crowe in battle. Raven when I sparred with her during training this morning Raven broke three of my ribs!" Starlight Glimmer and Starlight Glimmer looked toward Sunset Shimmer who shrugged and everyone was at a loss for words when Zipp Storm spoke up. " Maybe she's giving you more of her combat skills and brutality because she knows that you'll regenerate and be fine." "Fine! I am traumatized! This whole Celestia damned morning I have had more bones broken than when I was just a kid!" Keket turned toward the west to watch the sunset, "Sorry I yelled and all, Raven looked thrilled to hear my bones snap....if Shining Armor hadn't been there I'm sure Raven would've broken every bone in my body." "Keket...if you need to transfer and we'll see if it or would happen. When Luna recruited Raven from Threstralia we had no idea what she was like; now since Raven is the daughter of a monarch who helped us be at peace with the Threstrals our hands got tied." Keket nodded in understanding, but in her mind, she knew that when it came down Raven was the worst person to exist in Equestria. The following morning Keket and her platoon prepared for their training which was in the form of war games. "This is gonna suck like a cheap whore if Raven decides to turn me into a pin cushion." Keket thought to herself as she strapped her sword onto her belt which rested about midway on her right hip. Keket looked over her shoulder at her best friend in the platoon, a pegasus who seemed so mild but had some perverted ideas. "Nutmeg....you and the rest of the platoon give me a wide space around me. Captain Raven Crowe might use live bolts and arrows on me since I can regenerate and I'm like her....immortal." "Sure thing Keket, if things happen to get spicy let me know every detail." Keket couldn't help but chuckle despite what was being suggested and knowing what Raven Crowe was into. "Hush Nutmeg! You're crazier than she is." "Hardly" was the gentle reply. Nutmeg had the platoon form up. Keket tried to steel her nerves for what Raven Crowe might do to her. Keket felt like she might mauled to the inch of her life or Raven might just kill her for fun and wait for Keket to regenerate. Keket made sure her armor was fitting snuggly and her beast plate was secure for her impending doom.
