Episode 13: The Opaline-lympic Games (Part 2)

The people watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics were in a panic after the Destructix, the the Nocturnus Clan and Allura arrived. Misty was holding onto Spike and Sparky with tight grips.

"Oh, relax, little dragons," Allura purred when looking at Spike and Sparky. "Just..." Allura then purred, sending out sonic waves towards the two. "...smile." The sonic waves only hit Spike and Sparky, who smiled after being caught in Allura's trance.

"Yes, Allura," Spike said in a trance.

"Good," Allura said. "Now to get you two to the Dragon Stone." She then looked at Misty. "Get to the ship, and await further instructions from Opaline."

Misty got nervous and nodded. She then started walking away. Then a member of the Nocturnus Clan came up to her, grabbed her, Spike and Sparky, and they teleported away.

Misty, Spike, Sparky and the member got teleported to the bridge of the ship where Imperator Ix and Shade were standing. Behind them, the Dragon Stone was sitting on a pedestal behind them.

"Opaline would be proud of you, Misty," Imperator Ix said. "Shade, put the two dragons into their cages." Shade nodded and walked over towards the group. She then grabbed the arms of the two young dragons and pulled them to individual cages. "Now, release your flames into the stone." Just then, Spike and Sparky started releasing fire, it heading towards the Dragon Stone. The stone then changed form.

Then Ix pressed a button and a holographic image of Opaline appeared. Opaline then said, "Ah, you got the dragons."

"Y-yes, Opaline," Misty said, trying to hide her shame.

"Oh, don't worry about those pathetic heroes, Misty," Opaline said. "You won't need them anymore. Besides, once those dragons have their fire drained, you'll come back and you'll finally get your Cutie Mark. Shade, take Misty to one of the waiting rooms of the ship!" Shade nodded and escorted Misty out of there.

In the Royal Box, Twilight, MC and Sally were trying to break out. Twilight was trying to use her magic to get through the barrier that was in front of the window. She managed to break the glass, but not the barrier. MC was trying to slam through the door, but the barrier was preventing him from even opening or smashing the door.

"C'mon!" MC shouted. "Let us out!"

Sally ran up to the door with laser blades coming out of her blue bracelets, saying, "Stand back!" MC stood aside and Sally tried cutting the door, but the barrier wasn't letting her go any deeper. Sally groaned. "C'mon!"

"We're trapped in here!" Twilight said. "The barriers are preventing us from leaving out the window or the door."

"Let's see," MC said. He then put his hands on the ground, and his golden aura eyes activated. He was looking at everywhere the barrier was. "Hold on." He then saw that the barrier wasn't covering what was under the floor. "I got it." MC then raised his left fist and his golden aura came and surrounded his left arm, the aura taking the form of a dragon's head. "Chaos Dragon Fist!" He then punched the floor, making a hole in the floor. "If we can't go around the barrier, then we'll just go under." He then jumped through the hole.

"Good idea, Michael," Twilight said. She then followed MC through the hole, and Sally following.

Meanwhile, on the field, most of the contestants have been caught under Allura's mind control, surrounding the rest of the Mane 6, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the Freedom Fighters, Sunny and her friends, Rob o' the Hedge, and the Young 6.

"Zis iz not good!" Antoine said.

"You don't have to say that again, Ant," Sonic said. "We need to stop these guys before it's too late! Where are Twilight and MC?"

"Breaking out of the royal box the field had them in," Midpoint said, pushing some buttons on his left glove. "Gotta get..." He then noticed something. "Dang! The ship is blocking all reception! I can't even reach Nicole!"

"What are we gonna do?" Sunny asked.

"Surrender," Scourge said. "Opaline has big plans for all of you. After all, we've got your baby dragons now."

"Sparky?!" Hitch asked. He then looked around. "Sparky?! Sparky?!"

"Your dragon is now our prisoner," Allura said. "Along with that purple dragon. You won't see him again."

"You'll never get away with this!" Sunny said. Just then, Fiona Fox came in and kicked Sunny's face, knocking her down to the ground. "Gah!"

"Never let your guard down," Fiona said.

"Fiona!" came Bunnie's voice. Fiona looked towards the voice and Bunnie was standing there in battle position. "It's time y'all got punished fer betrayin' the Freedom Fighters!"

Fiona chuckled and said, "Like you can take me. I was the best fighter in the Freedom Fighters. Also, all of you were always on the losing side. That's why I betrayed you. You were always destined to lose."

"Then how did we beat Eggman over and over again?" Sonic asked with a smirk.

"You were lucky," Fiona said. "But you won't be lucky this time." She then charged at Bunnie, but Bunnie countered Fiona.

"You're right," Bunnie said. "I'm not lucky this time. I'm just good." Just then, she was punched in the back by Sergeant Simian. "Gah!"

"BUNNIE!!!" Antoine cried out. He was about to help her, but he was snatched by Predator Hawk. "Sacré bleu!" Antoine was being carried up in the air.

"Hey!" Knuckles said. "Not cool!" Knuckles then charged at Sergeant Simian. He tried punching Sergeant Simian, but the ape's palm stopped Knuckles's fist cold. "What?!"

"Did you really think you could stop me like that?" Sergeant Simian asked.

"No, but he could distract you," Truemen said from behind, Sergeant Simian turning around. Truemen then used his robot arm and punched Sergeant Simian's face, sending him up into the air, colliding with Predator Hawk, making him drop Antoine.

"Gaaaah!" Antoine cried out. He was then caught by Tails.

"Gotcha, Ant!" Tails said.

"Merci beaucoup, Tails!" Antoine said. Just then, both of them were struck by a green flash.

"Gaaaah!" Tails and Antoine cried out as they were falling to the ground. Then Sonic caught both Tails and Antoine and put them onto the ground safely.

"Nice try, Scourge!" Sonic said. "You're not gonna get away with this!" Then Scourge landed in front of Sonic.

"It's too late about that, blue boy!" Scourge said. "I'm the best version of you! And you're done for! Well, once I take down Crayton for giving me this!" He then pointed at the scratch marks on his stomach.

"Oh, I don't think so," Sonic said. "Spin and win, time!" Sonic then did a spin dash. Scourge tried doing the same thing, but they bounced off of each other. They continued spin dashing against each other, but kept bouncing off.

Meanwhile, on the ship, Misty and Shade went into one room. Shade shut the door and looked around. Misty noticed what Shade was doing.

"What are you doing?" Misty asked.

"Making sure we actually have some privacy," Shade answered. As soon as she saw that there was no cameras or microphones, she looked towards Misty. "Listen, Misty, it's obvious that Opaline isn't going to give you what you want. Once she gets what she wants, she'll get rid of you."

"What?" Misty asked. "She was... she was using me?"

"Yes," Shade said. "She wasn't even planning on getting you a Cutie Mark."

Misty gave a sad look and looked down at her right hip. That sadness then turned to anger. She then said, "Then I need to foil her plan, and help my friends."

"You won't be alone," Shade said. "I'll help you as much as I can. Although, if we go somewhere where you're not authorized and we get caught, we're gonna have to fight. Fake, of course. Make it look real."

"Oh, I see," Misty said. "Let's do it." Then Misty and Shade ran out of that room, heading off somewhere.

Meanwhile, at the camping area, Cozy Glow, Cream, Cheese and the Crusaders were walking back and forth, worried about what was going on. Cozy Glow was trying to call someone.

"C'mon, c'mon, pick up," Cozy Glow said. She then sighed. "Those fields are blocking all reception from inside." Just then, the ground started shaking. The kids fell onto the ground. Then something came out of the ground. It was a gray flash surrounded by a golden aura. It then landed in front of the kids. It was MC, and coming out of the hole in the ground was Twilight and Sally.

"Twi... Mom! Dad!" Nyx said, running up to Twilight and MC. She then hugged them.

"Nyx," Twilight said. Joshua ran up to them as well. "Joshua. Is everyone here okay?"

"We're fine," Joshua said. "But the building isn't letting anyone in or out."

"Not even communications are going through," Cozy Glow said. "What are we gonna do?"

MC looked up at the ship. He then said, "The barrier was blocking our energy attacks, and is preventing everyone from entering or exiting. And it's also causing communication problems. So if we can't take out the barrier from down here..."

"Then we'll have to take it out from up there," Sally said, pointing at the ship. "I don't think even MC's claws will be enough. We need some very powerful weapons."

"She's right, MC," Twilight said. "Our powers are more along the energy side."

"Hm, you're right," MC said. He then got an idea. "Cozy, get in contact with GUN. Tell 'em that I want them to send in the big gun."

"The big gun?" Cozy Glow asked. "What big gun?"

"You'll know it when you see it," MC said. He then headed for the Spirit of Freedom, and pulled out his Extreme Gear from a compartment. "Sparkles, Sally, let's fly!" MC threw his Extreme Gear towards the ground, and he got on it. Sally got onto it behind MC, and then they started going up with Twilight using her wings to follow.

"Go get 'em!" the Crusaders, Cream and Cozy Glow called out.

"Chao chao!" Cheese said.

In the field, the Freedom Fighters were trying to take down all the bad guys that were there. Sonic was fighting Scourge while on the track.

"No way you can beat me!" Sonic said.

"If you can beat me, I'll eat my shades," Scourge said. "C'mon. I'm waiting!"

"Hey, that's my line!" Sonic said. He then tried striking Scourge again, but Scourge dodged Sonic. He then tried striking the blue hedgehog, but Sonic jumped up and Scourge crashed into the wall. As Scourge was recovering, Sonic did a spin dash into Scourge, causing him to be stuck in the wall.

"Ow," Scourge said.

"Take that," Sonic said.

"Oh, you're good," came Allura's voice. Sonic turned and saw Allura behind him. "But not good enough." She then purred towards Sonic, but Sonic ran out of the way. "Hey! Where'd you go?!"

"Um, fastest thing alive?" Sonic asked from behind Allura. Allura jumped at the sudden sound of Sonic's voice. "Sorry to startle and run, but I gotta go fast!" He then zoomed away from her.

Allura growled and said, "Get him!" Then the hypnotized people started chasing after Sonic. They even cut off his path.

"Whoa!" Sonic said, stopping. One of the hypnotized people tried grabbing him, but he jumped out of the way. "Not cool! Way past not cool!"

Meanwhile, Hitch was trying to grab Flying Frog with his Floral Magic, but the frog was too slippery to get caught by the vines that Hitch was using.

"Stand still!" Hitch said, angrily.

"Not gonna happen," Flying Frog said. "And besides... I'm only the distraction."

"Wait, what?" Hitch asked. He was then ambushed. He got pinned down by Lightning Lynx.

"It's over, cop," Lightning Lynx said. "You're done for." Just then, he was kicked off of Hitch, and sent flying into Flying Frog. Hitch looked over at who saved him and saw Applejack standing above him. She then helped Hitch up.

"Thanks, Applejack," Hitch said.

"Ya kiddin', sugarcube?" Applejack asked. "We're family, remember?"

"Right," Hitch said. "Family stick together." Then they continue fighting the villains that were in the field.

Meanwhile, in the ship, Misty and Shade were running through the ship, searching for where Spike and Sparky were. They ran into one room to see Spike and Sparky getting weaker as their fire was being drained. Spike and Sparky looked at Misty and Shade. Sparky smiled a little and tried reaching out for Misty, but he was too weak.

"Wh-what... are you... two... doing... here?" Spike asked angrily, yet angrily.

"I'm getting you two out," Misty said. "I'm getting you our before..." Just then, she noticed that the Dragon Stone was full of Dragon Magic. "Oh, no. The stone is full." Just then, the stone was engulfed in flames and it disappeared. "Oh, no! Opaline's got the..." Just then, Misty's necklace started vibrating. "Uh oh." She then answered it.

"Misty, I just got my dragon fire," Misty said. "Now, all I need you to do is..." She then noticed where Misty was. "Oh, you're already in there. Good. Now, get rid of the dragons."

"Wha-what?" Misty asked. "What do you mean by that?"

"Tie down their wings and throw them from the ship," Opaline said. "They're no longer useful." She then hung up. Misty sighed.

"I... I can't do it," Misty said. She then looked at the two dragons. "I have been following Opaline for years because she only wanted power for herself." She then turned around to look at Shade. "Ever since I came to the Freedom Fighters, I have been treated as a real friend to them." She then pushed a button outside of the cage Sparky was in, and she grabbed and held Sparky. "I'm done working with Opaline."

Shade smirked at that and said, "Opaline was never gonna give you what you want. But you found what you needed."

Misty looked at Shade and nodded. Shade then pushed the button outside of Spike's cage, and she grabbed him and moved him towards Misty.

"Shade?" Misty asked.

"It's time you three get out of here," Shade said. "This way." Misty then grabbed Spike and put him on her back. Then she followed Shade out of the room. They ran through the halls of the ship and headed for the hanger.

"What are we doing in here?" Misty asked.

"You're gonna take the three of them out of here and get out of here," Shade said. She then handed Misty a device. "I shall inform you and the Freedom Fighters about Opaline's next move."

"Got it," Misty said. "Just be careful, okay?"

"You got it," Shade said. Misty then ran towards the hanger, holding Spike and Sparky, and she continued looking for an unoccupied ship.

"No... No... No..." Misty said. She then saw an unoccupied ship. She then ran towards the controls that open the ship. "Good. It's not in use. Now to..." She opened up the ship, but then she got surprised and gasped, along with Spike and Sparky.

"Well, well, well," Imperator Ix said, coming out of the ship with ten of his warriors standing behind him. "Looks like we have a traitor in our mix. Opaline isn't going to be happy about this."

Misty growled at that and said, "I'm done with all the evil! I'm joining the Freedom Fighters! For real!"

"Looks like Misty doesn't get it," Imperator Ix said. "Those who betrays us and get caught... get executed. Kill them all." Misty gasped. The armed echidnas took out their weapons and aimed them at Misty. Misty shut her eyes and embraced for the blasts to hit her. But then the sound of magic came in. Misty didn't feel anything. She opened her left eye to see what happened. She then saw Twilight in front of her, using a shield spell to block the attacks.

"Twilight?!" Misty asked.

"We're getting you out of here!" Twilight said.

"Twilight Sparkle?!" Imperator Ix asked, shocked. "How did you get out of the barrier?!"

"The answer is about to punch your face," Twilight said, smirking. Ix got confused. He then turned his head to the right and he instantly saw MC's left fist, giving out a golden aura in the shape of a dragon's head, and was about to punch Ix's face.

"Chaos Dragon Fist!" MC said as his fist collided with Ix's face, sending him flying to the back wall.

Imperator Ix recovered from that, growled and said, "Get them!"

The echidnas were about to fire their weapons, but then Sally came in and sliced their weapons. She then tripped them and then Twilight used her magic to levitate the echidnas and pin them towards the wall. Then she used a spell to make the echidnas stay down.

"What did you do to them?" Misty asked.

"Gravity spell," Twilight said. She then used a teleportation spell to send Spike and Sparky down to where the Crusaders, Cream, Cheese and Cozy Glow were. "Now, we need to get the others out of the barrier." Then the four of them headed out of the hanger.

As soon as they were in the hall, Misty stopped and said, "Guys." That made Twilight, MC and Sally stop and turn around. "I'm... I'm so sorry. I thought what I was doing would be good for me, but... after being with you guys for so long, I just couldn't let Opaline and her minions hurt you all. I'm so sorry for hiding the facts." She then shed some tears.

MC walked over towards Misty and put his left hand on Misty's right shoulder. He then said, "It's okay, Misty. It's okay. Besides, we knew all along."

Misty looked at MC surprised and asked, "You knew? How could you have known?"

"I could smell Opaline's scent on you," MC said. "I could also smell lies. And once I figured out what Opaline was doing, Zipp wanted to bust you immediately, but I talked her out of it. So, we all came up with this plan to get you on our side by letting you be our friend for real."

"Which was actually a great plan," Twilight said. "And it seemed like it worked, didn't it?"

Misty looked at Twilight with an unconcerned look. She then gave a sad smile, remembering all the fun times she had with the Freedom Fighters and the other ponies. Misty then opened her eyes and nodded at the three.

"Now, let's take out that barrier," Sally said. Then they all continued running down the hall. They eventually made it to the control room where at least a hundred armed echidnas were in, waiting for them. Including Ix himself.

"Shoot," MC said.

"Did you really expect for it to be so easy?" Imperator Ix asked. "I expected better than you."

Just then, there was beeping coming from MC's communicator. MC answered it, saying, "Yeah?"

"MC, I've gotten a hold of GUN," Cozy Glow said. "They said that the big gun is already on its way up there."

"Big gun?!" Misty asked. "What kind of big gun?!"

"Look!" Twilight said, pointing at the window. Something was coming towards it fast. It then crashed through the window, letting out an explosion. Twilight, MC, Sally and Misty were on the ground. As the smoke cleared, they saw what came in. It was E-123: Omega. "Oh, that big gun!"

"Primary target, battleship in the sky," Omega said. "Initiating destruction of the ship." He then started running through the ship, destroying everything in sight.

Omega then started firing his machine guns at the ceiling of the room, dropping debris on top of the echidnas. Those who haven't gotten hit tried running out of the way.

"We need to take out that barrier keeping all the people in the stadium," Sally said.

"To the controls!" Twilight said. They ran towards the control and started fiddling with the controls.

"Keep 'em busy, Omega!" MC said. "We're gonna take out the barrier."

"Affirmative!" Omega replied.

Misty looked down at the stadium where it was surrounded by the barrier. Just then, Shade snuck in and pinned Misty to the window.

"Gah!" Misty said.

"Misty!" MC said.

"Stand back!" Shade said, holding out one of her energy daggers. "This traitor deserves to be punished." MC sniffed. He then smirked.

"Oh, I get it," MC whispered. He then stood tall. "Like we're gonna let Opaline win."

Shade turned her head slightly towards Misty and quietly said, "When I bring the laser blade closer to you, grab my arm, take it out of my hand, trip me, and use the blade to destroy the controls. That'll bring down the barrier." Misty nodded. Shade then brought the dagger closer to Misty.

Misty then grabbed Shade's arm, and then tripped her. Misty then took the blade to the controls. She then brought out her necklace and put it on the control console. Misty then pushed the center of the necklace, making Opaline answer.

"What is it Misty?" Opaline asked, angrily. "I was testing my new..." She then noticed that Misty was not alone and gasped. "Freedom Fighters!"

"It's over, Opaline," MC said. "When we find you, we're taking you down."

"Misty, take them down!" Opaline said.

"No, Opaline!" Misty said.

Opaline was shocked at what Misty said to her. She then angrily asked, "Come again?"

"You've been too focused on getting what you wanted, but not what you needed!" Misty said. "Ever since I came to the Freedom Fighters, they've been treating me nicely, unlike you! You've treated me more like your servant instead of a pony! And I'm done with you! I'm becoming a Freedom Fighter for real! Even if I have to take you down!"

"YOU DARE DEFY ME?!" Opaline asked, fire burning behind her. "That's it, Misty! You're never gonna get a Cutie Mark now!"

"Like you were gonna give me one even if I did get you what you wanted!" Misty said. "I know that no amount of magic will make a Cutie Mark appear and stay permanently!" She then held up the dagger. "Opaline... I QUIT!!" She then sent the dagger down on top of the necklace.

"NOOOOOOOOOO--!!!!" Opaline called out before the necklace was destroyed, along with the controls to the barrier. Then the controls started letting out electricity. Then the barrier surrounding the stadium vanished.

"Drawbridge is down, people!" MC said. "Omega, time to help out the others down below!"

"Affirmative!" Omega said. He then boosted towards the wall in the direction of the stadium, and crashed through. MC then pushed a button on his communicator and his Extreme Gear came to the hole.

"Well, hate to foil your evil plan an run, but, see ya, suckers!" MC said as he and Misty got onto the board. They rode the board down to the ground as Twilight carried Sally down.

Meanwhile, in the stadium, the heroes were surrounded by the hypnotized people in the stadium, the Destructix and Allura.

"There's too many of them!" Tails said. "We're doomed!" Just then, Bunnie was snatched by Predator Hawk.

"Gaaaah!" Bunnie shouted.

"BUNNIE!" Antoine called out.

Predator Hawk then smashed Bunnie into a nearby wall where Sergeant Simian was standing above. Sergeant Simian then slammed the top of the wall, making it crumble and the rubble landing on top of Bunnie, making her scream in pain.

"NOOOOO!" The Freedom Fighters on the ground cried out.

"It's over," Scourge said. "Get them!"

"I don't think so, Scourge!" came MC's voice. Scourge then looked towards the voice and MC slammed the bottom of the Extreme Gear into Scourge's face. Scourge was sent flying into the people.

"Looks like we have trouble," Allura said. "But no problem." She then looked towards MC and Misty. "He'll make a nice slave." She then purred towards MC, sending out sonic waves towards the fox. MC then threw Misty out of the line of fire as the waves went through MC.

MC chuckled and said, "That tickles."

"What?!" Allura asked.

"Eggman tried to hypnotize me before," MC said. "He failed, miserably."

"MC," Omega said, coming down. "You are going to need this." Then the compartment in his stomach area opened up, and coming out of it on the sliding platform was something that the Freedom Fighters could use.

"Perfect," MC said. He then grabbed it. "Sonic!" MC then tossed the Emerald to Sonic.

"Thanks," Sonic said. He then used the power of the Emerald, and then he sped around taking out the villains. But then there was a new problem. "What about the people?"

"Don't worry," MC said. He then brought up his communicator. "Nicole, hack into the speakers of the track and field stadium for the Olympics here in Paris, and start playing my jam.

"On it, MC," Nicole said through the communicator. Just then, the speakers of the building started giving out a buzzing noise. Then it started playing some music.

"It's My Life by Bon Jovi?" Sonic asked. "Good choice for a jam!"

When the music hit the chorus, all the people got out of Allura's trance. Allura was furious that her trance was being overwritten.

"No!" Allura said. "This can't be happening!" She then tried using her power of persuasion again, but the sonic waves were being distorted by the music. "NO!"

"Time to take out their ship!" MC said. He then fired a beam towards the ship, destroying one of the engines that was making the ship hover in place. Twilight did the same thing with another engine. Omega then fired a bunch of missiles and bullets towards the ship.

"No!" Scourge said, recovering. "Retreat! Retreat!" Just then, the villains vanished, then the whole ship vanished.

MC then sniffed around. He then said, "They're long gone."

"Help me, Mon Amis!" Antoine called out. The heroes looked towards Antoine and saw him trying to lift some rubble off of Bunnie.

"Bunnie!" MC said. The heroes then ran towards her. They started pulling rubble off of Bunnie. When they saw her condition, they all gasped.

From atop the stadium, a figure was looking down at the group. This figure looked like an older version of Sonic, had an eye patch over one of his eyes, a long brown jacket, white gloves with golden bracelets, golden boots, and a scar over the eye that was covered by the patch. Then a Mobian Lynx walked up to the figure.

"Another anomaly has been taken in, Chief," the lynx said.

"Very good, Nicole," the figure said. "I have my eye on the one from this universe." The figure then looked at MC with a cold stare. "Keep an eye on that one, Nicole." He then opened a hexagon portal then stepped through.

"Yes, sir, FS," the alternate Nicole said.

Just then, MC sneezed from below. He then shouted out loud, "Okay! Who's talking smack about me?!"

Back in the US, in Station Square Union Hospital, Bunnie was laying on a gurney in a private room. Her left arm and her legs were in casts. Antoine was in the room with her, holding Bunnie's only working limb in his hand. Bunnie was sound asleep. Outside, Sonic, Tails, MC, Twilight, Sunny, Hitch and Misty were looking in through the window.

"The doctors done all that they could," MC said. "The bones in her arm and legs are completely shattered. Bunnie's unable to walk again."

"Does that mean we have to re-roboticize her limbs again?" Tails asked.

"Too risky," MC said. "It might be too much on her limbs. Unlike with Jules when he was Roboticized." Just then, doctors came in and started moving Bunnie's gurney. "Hey, what's going on in there?"

Then a doctor walked up to the group, saying, "Alex Lynol has offered to give Bunnie some more... interesting upgrades to Mrs. D'Coolette. Something that's more... bionic."

"Bio-tech?" Sonic asked. "Lynol was working on that sort of thing?"

"He's been doing pretty interesting things," Twilight said. "I'm sure that Bunnie will be back on her feet in no time." Then the five of them looked towards Misty, who was looking down in shame.

"I'm so sorry for everything I've done," Misty said, rubbing her left arm. "I... I understand if you all hate me, and want me to leave forever." She then sighed. "I'll... I'll start packing."

MC then put an arm on Misty's right shoulder, saying, "Hold it, Misty. You're not going anywhere."

"Huh?" Misty asked.

"You came through for us," MC said. "You stood up for yourself against Opaline, and you saved Spike and Sparky. You're one of us, Misty. No way we're gonna let you move out. Besides, where would you go?"

"He's got a point," Sonic said.

Misty smiled at that. Just then, her right hip started glowing. She noticed it and asked, "Huh?" She then pulled up her skirt and saw something on her hip.

"I... I don't believe it," Misty said. "A Cutie Mark."

"I noticed it glowing when we were coming down from that ship," MC said.

"Helping us earned you your Cutie Mark," Sunny said. "You're a hero, Misty."

"So, what do we do now?" Misty asked.

Twilight got closer to Misty and said, "Tell us everything you know about Opaline."

In Opaline's lair, Opaline was in Misty's old room, using her new power to destroy everything Misty had in anger.

"Misty! You'll regret betraying me!" Opaline said. "You and your friends will be burnt to a crisp!"
