Trixie Lulamoon has always tried to one-up Princess Twilight. Shortly after Twilight's ascension to the equestrian throne, she puts on a show with one final attempt to truly one-up her, inviting everypony she could to what she had dubbed "a great and powerful spectacle~!"

Under the guise of it being a "Congratulations on becoming the Ruler of Equestria show (working title)" Twilight attends with her friends.

To hers and many other's horror, a horrifying freak accident occurs. What Twilight doesn't know is just what Trixie Lulamoon has truly unleashed upon Equestria, sweeping it under the rug and telling the public it was a freak accident and that those involved are fine.

Little does she know that Equestria is at the beginning of something much, much worse.

This AU was originally written when the infection AU's were popular on social media, but I got pretty busy before I could continue working on it, so here's it's release during spooky season! If people enjoy this enough, I'll continue it and we can all see just what's really going on.
