Today our heroes are traveling through a snowy forest. Turquoise was wearing a cute white peacoat with matching winter boots and her favorite scarf while Aqua and fluttershy were wearing simple pink jackets.

“How is it snowing when the last area had spring weather?” Aqua asked.

“We were told Izabi island had multiple environments, this must be part of what Tate and Lliza told us,” Fluttershy said. As they kept going and soon encountered the same poachers they met in steel valley.

“Not you guys again,” Aqua said.

“I thought you three were rotting in jail. “Turquoise said.

“We escaped a month ago and now you kids are toast,” Trapper said.

“Not this time, without that toy of yours or that Steelix, we won’t lose to you this time,” Turquoise said. Suddenly the three of them left on their snowmobiles with nets full of Snorunt.

“We must stop them, “Fluttershy said.

“But how? The snow is too deep to chase them on foot,” Aqua asked. Suddenly they saw a nearby pokemon center and turquoise had an idea.

“I have a call to make,” Turquoise said before the three of them entered the pokemon center. Turquoise approached the phone and called Professor Oak who answered immediately.

“Turquoise so good to hear from you, “Professor Oak said.

“Hi professor, I need you to send me my Alolan ninetails, “Turquoise said.

“Sure thing, who will you be sending over? “Professor Oak asked.

“My Samurott,” Turquoise said before putting the pokeball on the tray. Professor Oak recalled Alolan Ninetails and did the same before activating the transporter. A few seconds later the swap was complete. “Alolan ninetails arrived safely on my end.

“So did Samurott on my end, “Professor Oak said. After wrapping up with Professor Oak the girls went back outside.

Meanwhile in a campsite set up in the clearing of some woods, Trapper and his two lackeys were keeping an eye on the plethora of ice-types they captured and caged.

“Do you think those meddling girls will find us? “Johnny asked.

“Most likely especially since that pink haired one has the rage of a thousand Pangoro,” Yusaku said.

“Then let's do something about them, “Trapper said before he instructed Johnny and Yusaku to set up traps and prepare for battle.

Meanwhile the girls were right back where they lost sight of Trapper and his underlings.

“Ok Turquoise enough beating around the bush, tell us what your plan is, “Aqua said.

“You will see but first call out your Swampert, we will need her help,” Turquoise said as she called out her ninetails.

“Got it, go Swampert,” Aqua said as she called out swampert.

“Have her use Water Pulse, “Turquoise said.

“You heard her swampert,” Aqua said as Swampert used the declared move which formed a sphere of water that grew before being released.

“Now Ninetails use Ice beam on that water. Ninetails froze the water pulse creating a huge chunk of ice. Next turquoise called out Metang. “Now Metang use metal claw on the ice. Metang began using metal claw to carve up the ice. Just then Fluttershy caught on to what turquoise was doing.

“I see now, you're making a sled out of the ice,” Fluttershy said.

“That’s right, I remember my dad told me about how he had to make one using this method for a gym challenge in the orange islands,” Turquoise said.

“In that case allow me to help, “Turquoise said as she called out her ursaring who also used metal claw. A moment later the sled was ready.

“Are we sure this will hold up? “Aqua asked.

“It should since we are in a snowy area with cold weather and not a tropical island,” Turquoise said. After recalling their pokemon. The three of them got on the sled and went down the hillside at high speed.

“Are you sure this is safe?” Fluttershy asked.

“I’m sure,” Turquoise said as they leaned left to avoid a rock. The girls solum their way down the hill avoiding rocks and trees before reaching the bottom. As soon as they did, a shot of electricity was fired which destroyed the sled. It was soon revealed to have been Johnny and a big metal creature.

“Sorry ladies but we won’t allow you to foil our plans this time, " Johnny said before Turquoise pulled out her Pokedex to see what they were dealing with.

“Archaludon, The Alloy Pokémon and the evolved form of Duraludon, it gathers static electricity from its surroundings. The beams it launches when down on all fours are tremendously powerful, “Turquoise pokedex said.

“But how is this possible?” Aqua asked.

“It’s amazing what you can find in a police evidence locker like some Metal Alloy for instance,” Johnny said. “Now Archaludon use Electro Shot. Archaludon began building up power.

“You two go on ahead, leave this guy to me,” Aqua said.

“Good luck,” Turquoise said.

“You two are not going anywhere, fire,” Johnny said as Archaludon fired its electro shot. Aqua called out Swampert who was able to block it.

“Your battle is with us,” Aqua said before having Swampert use Rock Smash. Meanwhile Turquoise and Fluttershy were running deeper into the woods.

“Do you think aqua can hold that guy off?” Turquoise asked.

“Let’s hope so, “Fluttershy said before the two of them fell into a hole. Suddenly Yusaku poked his head over it.

“You got to love the classic pitfall trap,” Yusaku said. “Oh, and I would not try climbing out of there if I were you unless you want to be buried in snow. Suddenly Turquoise called out Metang who used its levitation to lift them out of the hole.

“Turquoise, you go on ahead and leave this guy to me,” Fluttershy said.

“You two are not going anywhere, Kingambit. Kingambit charged at them with his blade, but Fluttershy’s Ursaring stopped it as Turquoise ran ahead.

“I won’t let you get in Turquoise’s way,” Fluttershy said as Ursaring threw Kingambit towards the hole.

Back with aqua she was having a hard time dealing with johnny’s powerful Archaludon until Swampert was able to get in a powerful new move which was a tidal wave of brown water which cued her to use her pokedex to learn more about it.

“Muddy water, the user attacks by shooting muddy water at opposing Pokémon. This may also lower their accuracy,” Aqua’s pokedex said as the attack finished off Archaludon. Cold caused the muddy water to freeze around both Johnny and his Archaludon.

“You two chill right there, I’m going to help my friends, “Aqua said before she and Swampert ran ahead.

Back with Turquoise she managed to avoid all the other traps and made it to the campsite where Trapper and his two lackeys had various ice-types in cages. Trapper was also waiting for her.

“So you made it past my two lackeys and the traps,” Trapper said.

“My friends are dealing with them and without that dark ball of yours, beating you will be easy, “Turquoise said.

“Oh don’t count me out just yet, because I have yet to introduce you to my partner, Go Baxcalibur,” Trapper said as he called out a dark grey dragon-like creature with steel scales, red claws, and a metal blade sticking out of its back.

“What is that?” Turquoise asked before pulling out her pokedex.

“Baxcalibur, The Ice dragon Pokemon, This Pokémon blasts cryogenic air out from its mouth. This air can instantly freeze even liquid-hot lava, “Turquoise’s pokedex said.

“Baxcalibur is my strongest pokemon and the last one you will ever meet,” Trapper said egotistically, thinking Turquoise had nothing to fight back with until he noticed she was not backing down.

“Go Metang,” Turquoise said as she called out Metang.

“Suit yourself, Baxcalibur use dragon dance. Baxcalibur spun around which increased its attack power and speed. “Now use Glaive Rush Baxcalibur charged before flipping onto it’s back where its blade was carving up the ground while heading straight for Metang.

“Go up and then use Flash cannon. Metang levitated up which caused baxcalibur’s attack to miss and as a result allowed Flash cannon to nail it with more power than normal.

Back with fluttershy she was making quick work of Yusaku and his Kingambit. Ursaring delivered the final blow and sent both Yusaku and his partner into the hole they dug. Just then Aqua arrived.

“I’m I too late?” Aqua asked.

“Nope you just in time, now let’s go meet with Turquoise,” Fluttershy said before she and Aqua ran ahead leaving Yusaku to rot at the bottom of the hole he dug.

Back with Turquoise she and Metang were putting up a good fight, but Baxcalibur was one tough Adversary.

“I’m impressed your Metang is still going but at that level you will never beat us, “Trapper said.

“Don’t underestimate me or my pokemon, you may have gotten the best of us back in Steel Valley, but we are stronger than back then and will keep getting stronger, Metang,” Turquoise said before shouting Metang’s name which not only allowed it to get back up but to also glow just in time for Aqua and Fluttershy to arrive.

“What is happening? “Aqua asked.

“Metang is evolving,” Fluttershy said. Metang’s body began to grow bigger as two more limbs grew out as the two existing ones grew bigger before all four of them touched the ground quadruped style. Once the glow died down a Metagross stood where Metang once floated.

“All right my Metang has evolved into Metagross,” Turquoise said while checking her pokedex to see what new moves Metagross learned.

“So your puny Metang evolved, so what, it still took a lot of damage from Baxcalibur, “Trapper said.

“Maybe so but your Baxcalibur also took a lot of damage from our attacks, so we are about even,” Turquoise said.

“But not for long, Baxcalibur use Glaive Rush. Baxcalibur unleashed Glaive Rush but this time Turquoise was ready.

“Metagross use Hammer Arm, metagross swung its right foreleg at Baxcalibur which not only stopped the Glaive Rush but inflicted enough damage to beat it.

“Impossible how could my mighty Baxcalibur lose to a girl like you?” Trapper asked as he recalled his pokemon.

“Because unlike you I don’t need toys or cheating devices to raise my pokemon, “Turquoise said. Trapper tried to make a run for it but he was soon surrounded by Officer Jenny and her men who already had Johnny and Yusaku in their custody.

“You three have dug a much deeper hole for yourselves, “Officer Jenny said.

“You think a puny prison can hold us,” Trapper said.

“Maybe not here in Hoenn but the deep maximum-security prison in Orre might, “Jenny said.

“You mean the infamous prison in the Orre region that used to be a battle colosseum?” Turquoise asked.

“That’s right and the permanent home of the former leader of Cipher, Evice,” Officer Jenny said before she hauled the three men off. The girls unlocked the cages and all the ice-types ran back into the wild except for one who was awestruck by Turquoise and her battling skills. It was a small grey creature with yellow eyes and yellow flaps on its tiny arms. It looked at Turquoise as she used her Pokedex to learn more.

“Frigibax, The Ice fin pokemon, Frigibax absorbs heat through its dorsal fin and converts the heat into ice energy. The higher the temperature, the more energy Frigibax stores,” The pokedex said.

“Don’t you want to go with your friends?” Turquoise asked before Frigibax looked at Turquoise with determination.

“I think Frigibax wants to go with you, “Fluttershy said. “I can tell your strength and belief in your pokemon won it over.

“All right, go Pokeball,” Turquoise said as Frigibax stood still and let it absorb it. After a few shakes the capture was successful and Frigibax was teleported to Professor Oak's lab. The girls decided to return to the pokemon center before the sun went down.

Meanwhile at Professor Oak's lab he noticed the pokemon transporter was active. He noticed it was coming from Turquoise.

“It’s been a while since Turquoise caught anything, I wonder what she caught this time,” Professor Oak said. As soon as the pokeball came he opened it and was surprised by what arrived.

“A Frigibax? But Frigibax are native to Paldea and are rarely seen outside of that region,” Professor Oak said.

Later the girls arrived at the pokemon center and as soon as they did Turquoise decided to check in on Frigibax. Fortunately, Professor Oak answered quickly.

“Ah I knew you would be calling, is this about your Frigibax?” Professor Oak asked.

“Yes, I wanted to see how he is doing,” Turquoise said.

“He is doing just fine, he is getting along with the others, but I must ask, where did you find a Frigibax in Hoenn?” Professor Oak asked.

“We saved it from a trio of poachers who are now on their way to the Deep. Frigibax was awestruck by our battle; he wanted to join our adventure,” Turquoise said. “Why do you ask?

“Because Frigibax are native to the snowy mountains in Paldea so seeing one in another region is quite rare,” Professor Oak said. “But anyway, do you want me to send him over?”

“No not yet, I just wanted to make sure he was ok,” Turquoise said.

“I will keep an eye on him,” Professor Oak said before hanging up.

“So that now makes eight pokemon, what do you plan to do moving forward on this journey?” Fluttershy asked.

“Considering that I have one more gym battle left I will leave my team as is for now but after that i will rotate my team from time to time in order for them to gain experience,” Turquoise said.

“Do you think we've seen the last of those poachers?” Aqua asked.

“Aqua, the deep is 40,000 miles underground, those three won’t be seeing the light of day ever again,” Turquoise said.

“She is right, and I heard that escape is impossible since the walls can’t be scaled,” Fluttershy said.

“Let’s not focus on them anymore, “Turquoise said with the girls in agreement. And so, as another exciting day comes to an end, our heroes grew stronger with a new addition to the family, what other exciting adventures await our heroes next? Stay tuned. As the journey continues.
