Hearts and Hooves Day, is a day where Ponies who love eachother gather and show their affection.
And six mares will find this year's Hearts and Hooves to be the one where they're closer than ever.
To true love.
Even at some cost…
The day before
Twilight was walking through the Canterlot library with Spike at her side.
She was looking around for some new spells to practice for the recent curriculum as well as personal use.
Since Hearts and Hooves day was coming up she wanted to surprise her coltfriend from another world with some of her magic, also her friends were hounding her with a means to impress their coltfriends too.
“Alright, there’s an option, royal party tricks, I’m sure Pinkie will find a way,” Twilight said grabbing a book off of a high shelf.
“Maybe this one?” The teen dragon offered a book on how to perform pegasus tricks without clouds.
“Good idea, Rainbow will want that one,” Twilight said.
Spike looked around and pulled out a book on Earth Pony rituals before he saw a book hidden behind that one, curiously he pulled it out and saw is was a smaller book with the words.
“Alicorn Spells and creation,” Spike worded out, he then smiled and brought it to Twilight.
“Twilight! I’ll bet this one’ll work,” Spike said.
“Huh?” Twilight looked and saw the small book and she smiled.
“A way to create alicorns… why would Celestia not share this idea,” Twilight said putting a hand on her hip as she read it.
“It could be a fun trick at the party, turning everypony into alicorns, if just briefly,” Spike suggested.
“I don’t know, I should show this to Celestia first,” Twilight said.
“C’mon, you don’t need her permission with everything,” Spike said.
“I dunno…” Twilight said.
“Imagine an alicorn Flash?...” Spike whispered.
“....Ok, point taken,” Twilight sighed and she added it to the books.
As they made their way to the cashier, Twilight didn't notice the book glowing a little.
Twilight set her books on the table back at the castle and got back to helping Pinkie set up the party along with her colt friend
“Over there Cheesie!” Pinkie pointed to a piece of wall that didn’t have streamers.
“On it!” Cheese did a cartwheel over to that spot and threw some streamers up there.
“I don’t know why you guys are setting up such a big party when you don’t usually do so on Hearts and Hoove’s day,” Twilight said using her magic to lift some banners up.
“Because since Rarity and Bluenote have started dating and Fluttershy and Donut Joe are official now, this’ll be the first Hearts and Hooves day with all of us having coltfriends!” Pinkie exclaimed.
“Fluttershy and Joe are official?” Twilight was surprised.
“They were planning to announce it so don’t tell them I told you,” Pinkie said setting up the pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey poster.
“Why did you tell me?” Twilight demanded.
“So you can help me decide what to get them as a congrats gift!” Pinkie said.
“I never thought those two would hook up, mainly because of the distance,” Spike said.
“And he isn’t fond of animals in his restaurant, but love always finds a way,” Cheese said.
“I guess,” Spike shrugged before thinking of something “Hey Twilight, Flash will be coming here from the portal right?” Spike asked.
“Yeah,” Twilight asked.
“How many times has he done this?” Spike asked.
Twilight blushed “Um… not important,” Twilight said.
“You're hiding something,” Spike said mischievously.
Twilight could tell Spike smelt blood in the water so she decided to distract them, luckily the door received some knocks.
“Hey Spike, can you get that!” Twilight said feeling a little flustered.
“Oh fiiiine,” Spike said walking towards the door and opening it, and immediately he narrowed his eyes.
“Hello dear, excuse me,” Rarity said entering with her coltfriend Bluenote.
“Hello,” Bluenote said.
“Hi…” Spike said with some hostility before walking away.
“Oook?” Bluenote said before coming in.
“Twiiiilight,” Rarity said alerting Twilight of her presence.
“Hello Rarity,” Twilight hugged her and Cheese bounced over to Bluenote who sat down.
“Hi there, the names Cheese, Cheese Sandwich,” Cheese said.
“Hi, my name is Bluenote,” Bluenote said uncomfortable with the proximity.
“So, you and Rarity?” Cheese said.
“Yeah, between you and me, I’m not a hundred percent sure if it’s serious yet, we’re mainly just testing waters,” Bluenote said.
“Good!” Spike shouted from somewhere.
“Iiis he ok?” Bluenote asked.
“Jealousy, he’s got it bad for her,” Cheese said.
“Ah,” Bluenote said.
It wasn’t long before more knocks signaled the arrival of more ponies and Spike opened the door to Troubleshoes and AJ.
“Howdy there Spike,” AJ said.
“Mornin,” Troubleshoes said.
“Hi,” Spike said letting them in, not long after Rainbow Dash and Soarin arrived.
“Sorry we’re late, got held up,” Rainbow said.
“Yeah, she raced me to see who has to clean the dishes when we get home, and guess who won?” Soarin bragged walking in, and Rainbow leaned into Spike and whispered.
“Totally let him win, didn’t want to discourage him,” Rainbow snickered before heading in.
“Typical Dash,” Spike said before heading in.
A half an hour later a dainty knock came from the door.
“Can you-” Twilight began to ask Spike but he cut her off.
“No, I’m busy!” Spike said sorting some books and definitely not spying on Rarity’s and Bluenote's conversations.
“Oook,” Twilight said making her way to the door and opening it and seeing Fluttershy and Joe.
“H-hello Twilight,” Fluttershy said.
“Evening, I brought donuts,” Joe said.
“Good evening guys, and thank you Mr Joe for making the trip out here,” Twilight said.
“I’m not going to turn my marefriend or the princess down, besides, I needed the vacation,” Joe said handing the donuts to Twilight.
“This will definitely be the highlight of the party,” Twilight said, remembering the donuts she used to have back when she lived in Canterlot.
“Thanks, baked ‘em myself,” Joe said as he and Shy went in.
“Well, we’re near completion on this party, all we’re missing is the human worlders,” Pinkie said.
“The who?” Joe said.
“Ah yes, I never told you about them,” Fluttershy said before directing him to the couch to do just that.
“C’mon, roll out the cider!” RD complained.
“Easy now, it’ll be here,” Troubleshoes said to her as he stood over her and Soarin.
“Whoa… he’s huge!” Soarin whispered to RD.
“Agreed, and I thought Mac was buff,” RD said backing up quietly.
“Ah heard that,” Troubleshoes said with a glower.
“Uh…” Rainbow stuttered not wanting him to paste them but he started laughing.
“Jest yankin yer chain, ah am pretty big, ah don’t even exercise all that much,” Troubleshoes said.
“Oh… that’s cool, whew,” Rainbow and Soarin sighed.
Meanwhile Everypony else was sitting around and listening to Bluenote playing his saxophone.
“I can play too!” Spike said with a hint of jealousy.
“Ok, you want a go?” Blue said pulling out of a case a smaller one “I always bring a spare,” Blue said.
“Gimmie that,” Spike said and he began playing loudly... and incorrectly.
“Ah… not a bad start,” Bluenote said with a wince as Rarity nodded.
While all this was going on Twilight was heading upstairs to the mirror portal, having already informed Pinkie to inform the rest of the present ponies and she approached the mirror portal, straightening her outfit she entered the portal.
She appeared on the other side as a human and looked around.
Before her eyes were covered.
“Guess who?” A familiar male voice said.
“I’m guessing, the pizza guy?” Twilight giggled and turned to see Flash Sentry, her coltfriend, or as they call it in this world, boyfriend.
A bit of backstory Twilight had come back to this world a few times and found that Flash was about to go to Camp Everfree, but he couldn’t due to catching a bad cold, thankfully Twilight was able to bring a home remedy which made him feel better, but missing his friends, Twilight offered to bring him to her world to make him feel better and show him around.
He was a bit awkward at first, but he quickly adapted to the world of humanoid horses and then one night… things got a bit heated… in a nonnegative way.
Anywho that’s when they established this new cross-dimensional relationship.
“Did you inform Sunset?” Twilight asked.
“Yeah, she wanted to come but she’s held up with homework, she’ll come to the afterparty,” Flash said before they turned to the mirror.
“Ready? It’s been awhile,” Twilight said.
“I’ll be fine,” Flash said and they entered, when they got to the other side Flash stumbled a little and Twilight helped stabilize him.
“Got you,” Twilight said.
“Sorry, guess I still need a little work,” Flash said.
“It’s alright,” Twilight said with a smile as she led the slightly stumbling pegasus stallion to the party room.
“Hooves and wings are hard to get used to,” Flash said.
“I’d imagine since humans don’t have them,” Twilight said as he slowly got used to it again.
After they got downstairs Pinkie saw them and let out a squeal that stopped Spike’s ear-bleeding display of saxophone music.
“Aaaaalrighty ponies! Let’s boogie!” Pinkie shouted getting up and bouncing over to a button that wasn’t there before and pressing it, causing the disco ball to lower.
“Uuuh, Pinkie? When did you put that up?” Twilight asked.
“While you were gone,” Pinkie said before she ran over to the dancefloor and started dancing.
“She’s just like our Pinkie,” Flash chuckled.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Twilight said and they made their way into the party room.
Twilight and Flash sat down on a couch, talking about current events while Pinkie and some of the other partygoers were playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
“C’mon Troubleshoes!” Pinkie cheered as the big stallion struggled to guess the location of the butt of the donkey and pin the tail. When he took a chance and pinned it and removed the blindfold he saw that he missed the poster entirely.
“Aw darnit…” Troubleshoes grumped.
“No prob hun, ya just need ta try again!” AJ cheered her coltfriend on.
“Alright,” Troubleshoes said before doing just that.
Meanwhile, Rarity was discussing with Fluttershy on the recent events with their coltfriends.
“I think he’s sweet, but I do need to lay off the donuts, it’s not helping my figure,” Fluttershy said gesturing to her body.
“I think you still look beautiful,” Rarity said “Me and Mr Bluenote are testing the waters, but his lovely music has me wondering if sparks are flying,” Rarity gossiped.
“Good for you,” Fluttershy said.
“Um, Rares?” Bluenote asked.
“Yes, dear?” Rarity replied.
“I’m getting a little concerned,” Bluenote said.
“Why?” Rarity asked.
“I think Spike there is trying to burn a hole in my head with all that glaring,” Bluenote gestured to Spike who was staring at them.
“Ooohh… I understand the poor dear is crushed that I am currently dating but I don’t know how to let him down easily,” Rarity said.
“You’ll find a way,” Fluttershy assured as Donut Joe walked by and offered a donut which she politely declined.
As this party was going on the book on alicorns was nearby and Twilight headed over to the books to begin picking out something for the party.
Seeing the alicorn book Twilight got an idea and picked it up and turned to the other ponies.
“Everypony! Gather around!” Twilight called and they did.
After they finished gathering, Twilight cleared her throat.
“Alright, so this book here is apparently a book on creating alicorns, and while its methods are mysterious to me, Spike convinced me it would work out,” Twilight said glancing at the teen dragon who rolled his eyes.
“Wait! So it can make a pony an alicorn?! Why didn’t Celestia bust this out sooner?” Rainbow asked.
“I’m certain she had a good reason, but I am risking a scolding by Celestia to provide all you guys with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Twilight said.
“Ah’m not sure bout this…” Troubleshoes said.
“Well I am! Alicorn me up!” RD said confidently.
“Being the first male alicorn? Sign me up too!” Soarin said.
“Wow, I didn’t think this could happen… I’m almost worried,” Joe said.
“Don’t be,” Twilight said “I read some of it already and it mentions that by uniting one's power ascension is possible,” Twilight said.
“I will admit this sounds like it’ll be a treat, whatever you think is right,” Flash said to comfort Twilight.
“I’m kinda on the fence,” Twilight admitted.
“Well get off of it! I wanna be an alicorn!” Pinkie cheered.
“If just for a while,” Cheese said as well.
“Ah’d be open to this,” AJ said.
‘Ah’m still not sure,” Troubleshoes said.
“Twilight,” Spike walked up to her “Let’s do it already, I’m curious to see if I’ll turn into one as well,” Spike said.
“Alright, I hope Celestia doesn’t get too angry with me, besides, it did say it was temporary,” Twilight said before reading it for a bit, it does mention saying condolences and mental effects… odd, the book doesn’t mention much else… Twilight shrugged seeing as her friends wanted to try this as well.
“Alright, since I’m already an alicorn it shouldn’t affect me,” Twilight said before she focused her powers and her horn lit up, everypony braced themselves for whatever was going to happen as Twilight’s horn glowed brightly.
“One of me, all of you, this spell I now speak thru, I beckon the powers of ascension, give the times of dire consequences redemption, I summon my power to bring this morph, I call the mighty alicorn spell forth!” Twilight said before her horn spread in a bright light around the room and a great flash occurred inside the castle.
When the light cleared the group looked around at their new wings and horns… or lack thereof.
“Huh? Where’s my wings?” Rarity complained.
“I thought I was going to be ascended,” Bluenote griped.
“Knew it wouldn’t work,” Troubleshoes said.
“Aw man,” Spike sighed as he looked at his scaly hands.
“Guess I’m not going to be the alicorn of sweets after all,” Joe sighed.
“It’s alright honey,” Fluttershy said.
Everypony else was just griping.
“I don’t get it, I read the incantation right, right?” Twilight sighed.
“It’s alright Twilight,” Flash said.
“Sorry guys, guess we’ll have to try again another time,” Twilight said.
“Well, then I’m hitting the hard cider if you guys need me,” Rainbow said walking into the kitchen.
“I’m coming with,” Pinkie cheered and they went in together to the kitchen.
“Ah’ll be over there,” Troubleshoes said trudging to the couches.
“I’ll sit down as well,” Flash said noticing an odd tingle in his wings and he went over to sit down as well.
Eventually, the guests all split off to do their own things again.
“Well since that was a bust let’s get moving onto new things,” Twilight said looking through her books again.
Before she was shocked out of her book search by a piercing scream and the sound of something crashing.
“Huh? Pinkie? Rainbow?” Twilight ran over there along Soarin and Cheese Sandwich while everypony else looked concerned.
And what they stumbled across was scary to say the least.
Rainbow and Pinkie were on the ground panicking, and it was easy to see why.
Their bodies were stuck together, their left and right arms folded at their side against eachother and they couldn’t pull apart.
“Guys! What’s happening!?” Rainbow demanded.
“I don’t know!” Twilight said before something else began to happen that drew a crowd.
Their bodies, even their clothes, began… fusing with eachother, and gradually it was as though they were being pulled into eachother.
“What the hay!?” Rainbow cried.
“Aaah!” Pinkie yelped as she saw their legs slide against eachother and fuse into one leg and their butts fused at the hip and continued until their backside was one with only two legs now.
“Uh Twilight, if this is a joke it stopped being funny the moment it started!” Rainbow said.
“I-I don’t know what’s happening!” Twilight defended.
“Aaaah!” Twilight spun to a scary sight, the same thing was happening to Flash and Troubleshoes, they were pulled into eachother and began fusing like Rainbow and Pinkie.
“FLASH!” Twilight ran over to help him but found it was as though something was pulling on her.
“Huh?” Twilight cried before she was pulled against Rarity.
“Ah! Twilight!” Rarity cried.
“It’s not me!” Twilight cried.
“AAH!” Fluttershy flew through the air and knocked Applejack down.
“Oof!” Applejack grunted.
Pony Joe and Cheese fell prey to this as well and so did Soarin and Bluenote.
“Twilight?” Spike asked nervously as he was the only one unaffected.
Now that everypony was connected with somepony the fusion began.
Rainbow Dash glanced back at their fused back half and saw the pinkish purple fur and skirt surrounding the now black leggings and the tail which retained Rainbow’s rainbow colors but now had Pinkie shape.
“Whatever dream I’m having I hope you show up soon Luna!” Rainbow said.
“I don’t think this is a dream!” Pinkie cried as their upper halves pressed in on eachother more strongly and the arms that were touching started fusing as well and then their sides as well, the pull continued until their breasts fused as well, Pinkie’s bigger chest growing a little as it assimilated Rainbows smaller pair and out of Pinkies back a second pinkish wing emerged.
“AGH!” Rainbow grunted as she tried to pull free, pretty soon they saw their shirts fusing into a combination of their shirts and eventually they saw their fur rapidly changing into a pinkish purple one.
Pretty soon all that was apart was their heads… and they felt a pull on that next.
“Oooh nonono! Luna! Where are you?!” Rainbow called as she struggled to pull her head away.
“I don’t know what’s going on!” Pinkie cried.
Resist as they might, the pull eventually pulled their heads together and they felt their heads starting to fuse as well, their touching eyeballs fusing into one eye which had a pink color now, their mouths fused into one mouth and the pull only continued.
Unable to do anything else Pinkie and Rainbow screamed as their heads fused into one head, the third eye vanished and their manes became one style, the pinkish purple flowed up and changed their conflicting colors into one.
After that they opened their eyes, they hoped it was over but then they felt a splitting headache hit them and they gripped their head and as they stiffened a new pair of pink pupils appeared on their eyes and absorbed the other two colors, then the pony pitched forward onto the floor, groaning.
Her cutie mark becomes a series of balloons being struck by lightning.
Fluttershy cried out as she felt the fusing process and she forcefully rolled the two of them over and she looked down at their backsides and legs merging, her two legs fused into one leg, as did Applejacks and their rears became one, leaving them with two mismatched legs, AJ’s muscular leg and Fluttershy’s normal leg, that soon changed as Fluttershy’s leg began bulking up and the colors of their furs blended into a more peachy color.
They looked at their tails and saw them actually spin around eachother and change color until it was a pink-tinted braided singular tail.
“W-WHAT’S HAPPENIN TO US?!” Applejack cried. As they felt the pull on their connected upper halves and their arms and sides fused, Fluttershy’s other arm grew stronger looking as their sides fused into one and they were pulled together.
“NO! MAKE IT STOP!” Fluttershy cried.
“Ah can’t move!” Applejack said.
Eventually, their midsections became one, Fluttershy gaining Applejack's muscular midsection and Applejack gaining Fluttershy’s curves.
The biggest one came with their chests and they fused into an impressive pair and AJ’s red plaid and Fluttershy’s white shirt fused into a pink plaid shirt and a new wing came out of Applejack’s back.
Now it was just their heads and they got pulled together, Fluttershy just shut her eyes, waiting for it to end and AJ struggled defiantly.
Before their heads were pulled into eachother and fused into one, their faces combined into a pretty singular face, she opened her eyes and they had turned into an aqua-green color before she collapsed onto her back.
Their cutie mark was now a butterfly on an apple.
Twilight and Rarity were already in the midst of the fusion, their lower halves began fusing into one, their legs becoming a single pair with stylish jeans, their fur turning into a very light lavender. And their tails forming into a mix of Rarity’s and Twilight’s colors.
“Nonono! Twilight! Make this stop!” Rarity cried.
“I can’t! I didn’t think the spell would do this!” Twilight said with dread as she witnessed Fluttershy and AJ’s merging.
Rarity’s curvy midsection and arm got pulled against Twilight’s average figure and their bodies began fusing at a faster pace and soon they had a curved midsection with a stomach revealing blue blouse.
Twilight’s average chest merged with Rarity’s bosom and a light lavender wing emerged from their backs and their colors changed to light lavender up to their necks, which began to slide toward each other
“No! I cannot go out! Not like this!” Rarity cried.
“Twilight!” Spike ran over and tried to help but he ran into a barrier.
“Huh? Why is there a barrier!?” Spike said before banging on the barrier crying out Twilight’s name as he saw their heads get pulled together and fused into one, mane and face became one and their eyes became a diamond blue.
Their cutie mark became a purple crystal inside of a magical aura.
Now that the mares are done, what about the stallions.
Flash cried out as his smaller but still muscular flank merged with Troubleshoes flank and their tails merged into a purple colored tail.
To accommodate the massive difference in size Flash’s leg began to bulge and grow until it was big as Troubleshoes leg.
“What the heck is happening?!” Flash said.
“Ah don’t know, but we have ta fight it,” Troubleshoes grunted and he struggled to stand before they merged at the sides too, Flash Sentry growing bigger and merging with the stronger rodeo clown.
After they were connected, Flash’s jacket formed around them over Troubleshoes white shirt, and a larger wing formed out of their backs their fur colors became a light brown, and soon their heads began pressing up against eachother.
“T-Twilight!” Flash cried before his head fused with Troubleshoes and became one.
He opened his now green eyes before he fell onto his side with a loud thud.
Their cutie mark was now a lightning bolt over a horseshoe.
Bluenote and Soarin pressed up against eachother, on their hands and knees as the fusion was working on them as well.
When the fusion brought together their flanks and tails formed a dark blue tail with a purple line in it, and their jeans concealed but after their four legs became two Bluenote’s skinnier leg bulked up into an athletic leg like Soarins.
And then they fused at the midsection, Soarins abs became one with Bluenotes midsections and they gained a new combo shirt with a lightning bolt on it.
“Not good!” Bluenote cried.
“I can’t go out like this!” Soarin cried as his chest merged with the stallions next to him and became one muscular chest, Bluenote’s arms bulked up into a more athletic arm and a wing burst out of his back.
“No!” Bluenote cried as his head pressed against Soarins and they fused into one head, they opened their eyes and they were bluish green before he rolled onto his back and groaned.
Their cutie mark had become a lightning bolt turning into a musical jazz pattern.
Cheese struggled to get free as did Pony Joe.
Cheese fell to the ground as Pony Joe tried to stand up but failed as their legs had already fused and so this their flanks, their fur remained mostly the same color but their tails fused into a brighter brown-ish colored tail.
“What is that?!” Pony Joe asked.
“More like who? That’s not my flank!” Cheese said nervously.
The changes progressed as the two fused at the chest and it wasn’t long their heads pressed together and fused into one despite their protests.
“AAAHH!” they cried as the process finished, their green eyes became greener and they fell to the ground
Their cutie mark was now a donut and a cheese sandwich on a plate.
“G-guys?” Spike nervously said as he saw all the new ponies beginning to wake up.
“Ow… my head…” The Rainbow Dash Pinkie fusion said.
“Ooh, wh-what happened?” Twirares said.
“Ah feel, dizzy,” Flutterjack said.
“Oooh… what happened to me?” Flashy Shoes asked getting up.
The Soarin and Bluenote pony and the Cheese Donut pony got up and looked at themselves.
“Twilight?” Spike said going over to the, admittedly beautiful, light lavender pony who looked at him.
“Spike? What happened to us?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” Spike said.
“I think we merged,” Pinkie Dash said.
“Like that’s a thing,” Soarin Note said.
“Really? Then how else do ya explain what happened?” Flutterjack asked.
“Point taken…” Soarin Note said.
“I did not think the spell was meant to do this, I mean, you all aren’t alicorns like me,” Twirares said looking at her own wings.
“I dunno, I have a horn and wings,” Soarin Note said.
“But do you have earth pony magic?” Flashy Shoes asked approaching.
“Not the point, we need to figure out what happened, before somethin else does” Flutterjack said.
“And why wasn’t I affected?” Spike asked.
“Yeah, that is odd,” Cheese Donut said…before feeling a familiar tug.
“Uh, what’s going on now?” Soarin Note demanded grabbing onto the stairs railing.
“Oh no… I think it is happening again!” Twirares said trying to escape but failing.
“Not good!” Flashy Shoes said tryin to hold on to a pillar with his strength.
“No!” Pinkie Dash tried to take to the air and dive for the nearest window but she got pulled out of the air.
Cheese Donut tried to run for cover too but he found himself sliding in place instead.
“NO!” Flutterjack exclaimed as she tried to run but she wound up tripping and being pulled.
Resist as they tried, the magnetism only got stronger as time went on, and eventually, something had to give.
“AAAH!” Twirares, Pinkie Rainbow and Flutterjack flew into eachother in midair and landed on their flanks.
Cheese Donut flew from where he was and landed against Flashy Shoes and so did Soarin Note.
Spike tried to run over and help again but was repelled by a mysterious barrier.
“No!” Spike exclaimed.
Now that they were all together now, the same thing began happening to the three mares, with Flutterjack on the left and Pinkie Dash on the right.
Their flanks began fusing into one and three sets of legs fused into one set.
“Ah don't want to go through this again!” Flutterjack cried.
“Guess w-we don't have a choice,” Pinkie Dash said.
“No!” Twirares cried.
Their tail merged into a mix of Twilight and Rarity’s tail colors, oddly excluding Rainbow’s tail colors.
The fur became blue tinted gray, and the hooves became colored as if styled that way.
Their lower half became dressed in a pair of stylish jeans.
Their waists began to three-way fuse into one curvaceous and toned midsection. And their chests fused into an impressive but not oversized chest.
“Make this stop!” Twirares cried.
Pinkiedash tried to pull away unsuccessfully and Flutterjack tried to use her arm to pull herself free.
As the shoulders fused completely the arms shifted, losing some muscle mass and becoming athletically toned instead.
Their shirts fused into a blue and white shirt exposing her midsection and her wings gaining shades of blue and yellow.
And then the three heads began to slide towards each other.
“Nononooo!” Pinkiedash cried
“This is it girls!” Flutterjack cried.
“I am sorry this happened girls, forgive me,” Twirares sobbed.
Their heads met and began merging into one head, as the three fused into one they all shut their eyes and pretty soon the bluish gray overtook their heads as their manes fused into a beautiful colorful fusion of the six’s colors in a rainbow formation.
Her eyes snapped open and three sets of eyes merged into a beautiful pair of purple blue and green eyes.
“NO!” she cried before falling forward onto the ground.
The final cutie mark was Twilight’s star, but with an apple, a butterfly, a diamond, a balloon, and a rainbow lightning bolt surrounding it.
The two stallions impacted Flashy Shoe's side and knocked him over.
As they tried to get up the fusing started, their flanks and legs merging into two legs, muscular and powerful.
“This isn't good,” Cheese Donut said.
“Agh, No!” Soarin Note cried.
They fused at the waist and the two smaller stallions grew bigger to accommodate the fusion, as they triple fused into one at the chest, the fur turning black.
Their muscles expanded and their chest and shoulders became almost impossibly broad, another large mighty wing emerged from his back and they gained an eight-pack after they finished fusing.
Against their will they stood up and and their heads began fusing.
“This can't be how I go!” Soarin Note cried.
“I can't resist it!” Flash Shoe grunted.
“Nooooo!” Cheese Donut yelled.
Their heads fused into one head, a jet-black alicorn stallion with a blue mane with a yellow streak.
Something else began to happen though, his muscles continued to expand and grow until it looked as though he was going to burst before his body began to shrink down, losing bulk but retaining strength, until he had a strong, fit but not overbuilt figure.
He opened his violet purple eyes and stood for a few seconds before collapsing.
His cutie mark was a shield in front of a horseshoe with several lightning bolts hitting it.
All was still once more as Spike looked at the two alicorns and thought.
“What the?...” Spike whispered.

Spike hurried into the study and located a piece of paper and he frantically scribbled on it.
“Not good, not good!” Spike said as he wrote out the message and then sent it out before hurrying back downstairs.
When he saw the two still unconscious alicorns he did a once over on them.
The mare was the epitome of beautiful, she had muscles that weren’t bulky but athletic looking, a curvy muscled midsection, the prettiest part of her was her mane and tail, having the perfect blend of the mane colors of the six while her tail was of different colors but still just as perfect, long legs, a perfectly sized chest, a shapely plot and her face was just as pretty as Cadance’s face.
The stallion was the epitome of what could be described as a hot warrior coltfriend, his coat and mane weren’t as chromatic as the mares but they still looked pretty fearsome on him. A jet black coat and a bright sky blue mane and tail with a yellow streak in them. And his body? He was well muscled, not as big as Troubleshoes, more like Big Mac sized, but Spike could somehow sense he was stronger than he looked.
Afterward, Spike cleaned the party room to pass the time, what happened? What did fusing ponies in such a fashion have to do with alicorns… the thought scared Spike and he decided to just focus on cleaning.
For an hour nothing seemed to happen and Spike sat down on a chair and waited and he wound up falling asleep.
He woke to groaning noises and he looked to see the mare waking and sitting up.
“Oooh…. Where am I?” She asked in a soft yet calming tone.
“Twilight?” Spike asked hopping down and running over to her and she jumped a little when she saw him.
“Huh?” Spike said, confused by her wary expression.
“A…dragon?” She asked herself.
“Twilight? Are you there? I-it’s me, Spike!” Spike said.
“Twilight?... I don’t… what happened?” She asked.
“You… don’t remember me?” Spike asked.
“No… I don’t, my mind is blank, save for some voices in my head, but they are too quiet to hear,” She said gripping her head.
“It must have been the shock, or something happened during the fusion,” Spike said.
“Fusion?” She asked.
“Look, Celestia will be here soon to… hey are you alright?” Spike asked as he saw her suddenly lock up and stare into the distance.
“Celestia…” She muttered as memories started flooding in, memories of becoming her student, memories of practicing magic, hatching the dragon standing before her and more.
When the mental download ended she shook her head and looked at Spike and smiled.
“Spike?” She said with familiarity.
“You remember me now?” Spike said happily.
“Yes, and also how I ended up in this situation,” She said looking at the stallion who seemed to be waking up slowly.
“Huh?” Spike turned and saw the stallion sit up and look towards them.
“Huh?... Where am I?” He asked in a deep voice.
“Who are you?” The mare asked, not noticing she was blushing a little.
“Same to you,” He said with a light blush.
“Uh, guys!” Spike asked getting between them and they looked at him.
“Is that a dragon?” He asked.
“I need to get him on the same page…. Let’s see if Celestia worked for her then maybe… I got it,” Spike looked at him “Twilight Sparkle,” Spike said.
Immediately he got that same hundred-yard stare that the mare alicorn had, eventually he snapped out of it and he got up.
“No… this happened because we used that spell!” He said and he meant to take a step forward… only to crack the ground he stepped on.
“Whoa!” Spike said jumping a little.
“Wow,” He said before carefully stepping again and he didn’t crack the ground again, but when he lifted an arm to extend it towards the mare for introductions he ended up hitting the chair next to him and it flung off the ground and shattered against a wall.
“Whoa!” They said before looking at him.
“I think I’m dangerously strong…” He said embarrassedly.
“I’d say so,” Spike said taking a step away from him.
“Alright, don’t move then, and hopefully nothing else will break,” The mare said before standing and walking over to him.
“So… what now?” The stallion asked.
“We wait, Celestia is on her way,” Spike said.
“Alright, hopefully she can fix this,” The mare said.
“Alright, we’ll need to be able to introduce you two to her when she gets here so… what should we call you two?” Spike asked.
“Huh?” They said as they looked at Spike confusedly.
“Well, you’ve gotta have names right?” Spike asked.
“I don’t know mine…” The mare said.
“Neither do I,” The stallion said.
“Then come up with some,” Spike said.
“Hmmm….” The mare went into thought and looked at her colorful mane “Rainbow… mane?” She asked
“No, You’ll get confused with Rainbow Dash,” Spike said.
“Who?” She asked.
“One of the ponies making you up,” Spike said.
“Hmmm….” She hummed for a while before the stallion interjected.
“Radiant Shine,” He said.
“Huh? Why that name?” She asked.
“You look like a Radiant Shine to me,” He responded.
She blushed a little “O-ok, that’ll work… what about you?” Radiant Shine asked.
“I think I look like a Jet Black, or a Black Sheild, because of my cutie mark, or maybe-” He enthused before Radiant interjected.
“Brave Wing,” She said.
“Brave Wing?... I… guess that works, but why that name?” Brave Wing asked.
“You seem like you can fight, and take no guff from anypony, so… I thought it’d work,” Radiant said.
“Alright, then let’s-” Brave moved to turn around when he accidentally sent the table amidst the chairs flying with a leg bump.
“Gotta work on that,” Spike said with a deadpan.
After an hour of teaching Brave Wing to not smash the floor with his hoof steps he was walking around a little lighter in his steps.
“This’ll be hard to get used to,” He said.
“Yeah, but you're getting it,” Radiant Shine said.
As they were about to talk some more they heard loud knocking and they turned to the door.
“Let me handle this,” Spike said and he went over to the door and opened it.
And saw Celestia and Luna standing there with a few guards, Spike gulped nervously and waved.
“H-hi,” Spike said.
“I got your letter Spike, where is she?” Celestia said.
“They, actually,” Spike said.
“They?” Luna asked and Spike let them in and they saw the two alicorns and paused.
“U-uh… hi Celestia…” Radiant said.
“It’s nice to see you,” Brave said.
“....This cannot be,” Celestia said before approaching the two, while Luna hung back.
“What isn’t?” Brave asked.
“An alicorn stallion and an alicorn mare composed of my student and her friends… this can only mean the alicorn spell was used, curse it Twilight! Why didn’t you approach me?!” Celestia cursed.
“I-I’m sorry, I wanted to-” Radiant said but Celestia cut her off.
“I wasn’t talking to you, I talk to Twilight,” Celestia said.
“I am her right?” Radiant asked.
“Yes, but she exists deep in your mind now, and I am certain she can hear me, and I say this, do you understand what you’ve done?!” Celestia said loudly.
“Hey now, don’t yell at her for something your student did,” Brave tried to interject but Celestia ignored him.
“Now that the book's magic is loose it will cause this situation again and again until it is fixed!” Celestia said.
“Loose?” Radiant echoed.
“Celestia, what do you mean?” Spike asked.
“I meant as I said, the book was hidden with a seal so the magic in it wouldn’t cause any problems! The book is alive!” Celestia said walking around looking for any sign of its location.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t know!” Radiant heard a voice cry from within her head.
“It’s too late for regrets, we need to begin looking, if it escapes into Equestria countless ponies will share your fates,” Celestia said.
“We’re looking for a living book?” Spike asked itching his cheek.
“Yes, we need to move,” Luna said heading back out the door to give the guards orders.
“What about me?” Spike asked.
“Stay put in case it comes back, we need to make sure it doesn’t try to hide here,” Celestia said as she left.
“What? I’m being left out again?” Spike complained.
‘Don’t worry, we’ll be back, make sure nopony comes in,” Radiant said as she and Brave followed Celestia outside.
“...Ok…” Spike sighed going back inside before feeling that persistent itch on his cheek again and scratching it, as he walked back inside he didn’t notice a scale fall from his cheek and onto the ground.
As the group went back outside Celestia ordered two of the guards to hand over some cloaks from inside the carriage and when she got them she passed them to the other two alicorns.
“What’s this?” Brave asked.
“Disguises, we don’t want anypony knowing there are two new alicorns, it’ll cause distractions,” Celestia said.
“Ok,” Radiant said and put on the outfit, even though it wasn’t very stylish and so did Brave.
Spike made his way upstairs, he was feeling a little dizzy all of the sudden and he continued scratching all over.
“Itchy, why am I so itchy?” Spike asked as he made his way to his room, as he sat on the bed he pulled out the newest copy of the Power Ponies.
He scratched his cheek some more and didn’t notice some scales falling off his face.
“Ugh… why do I always get left behind while the rest of them get to go on adventures?” Spike asked flicking his tail in agitation and not noticing scales flying off his tail.
“Ugh… my head,” Spike sighed as he felt his head and he wondered if he was coming down with something, when he pulled his hand away from his head he gasped as he saw his hand missing a bunch of scales.
“Huh?! What happened to my hand?” Spike asked before getting up and immediately being hit with dizziness and cramps “Ugh… Need a restroom,” Spike said making his way to the hallway and going down it not paying attention to the trail of scales he was leaving.
As he went along the way he continued to feel aches and pains all around his body and he wondered if he was coming down with something.
Spike fell into the bathroom, having lost at least forty-eight percent of his scales, bare purple skin visible.
Spike coughed and tried to get up but he felt weak all of the sudden and he coughed out flames before managing to crawl his way into the shower and turning on the water, hoping it would alleviate whatever was happening to him.
The water pouring on him only hastened his scale loss and soon he was scaleless.
“What’s happening to me?” Spike wheezed as suddenly he felt a bone in his hand pop “OW!” He looked at his hand and felt multiple pops as his hand became more skinny and his nails shortened into more pony-like nails.
“Huh?!” Spike gasped before he felt the cramping all over.
Spike screamed as he fell forward and felt his skeleton being rearranged and his tail began to recede into his body and shrink until it vanished.
His spines broke off and hit the ground and his feet began to cramp up badly, he rolled onto his back and saw his toes receding into his feet and his feet becoming a pair of flat stumps.
“Wh-what?...” Spike said before the pain hit his face and he cried out holding his face as it cracked and reshaped, his sharp teeth falling out as new flatter teeth came in. His face reshaped into a more box shape and his ear fins became actual pony ears.
At this point what was happening was obvious, he was turning into a pony!
He felt a stabbing pain in his back and he rolled onto his stomach and two appendages grew out of his back and gained feathers and meanwhile, his body was growing taller, and stronger.
Spike screamed as a point began emerging from his skull and pressed outwards into a point, then a tuft of green formed on his tailbone and eventually grew out into a new pony tail. On his bare skin, he felt tufts of hair growing out and forming into a green mane.
Then fur began to grow out all over his body and he felt himself being covered by it.
As he pitched forward and passed out he saw on his flank a cutie mark of a quill and a scroll surrounded by green flame appear.
As the group made their way through Ponyville they saw no sign of any book.
“Where would the book be?” Radiant asked.
“It would be where there is multiple compatible ponies to fuse,” Celestia said, thankfully not seeing any fused ponies.
“Compatible?” Brave asked.
“The book will affect mainly those who can make the best alicorns, for example, it won’t target foals and adults at the same time, rather it will merge them with other foals and adults,” Celestia said.
“...What about teenagers?” Radiant stopped.
“Yes, why?” Celestia asked.
“...We have to get to the clubhouse, now!” Radiant Shine said before she hurried off.
“Something tells me we got a clue,” Brave Wing said before he followed.
“Guards! Continue the search, I will go,” Celestia said.
A gavel banged on a desk and Apple Bloom looked to everypony she was able to gather for this.
“Hello, if yer here sound off,” AB announced.
“Here,” Rumble said.
“Here,” Pipsqueak said
“Here!” Snips and Snails said together.
“Here,” Diamond Tiara said sounding bored.
“Also here!” Silver Spoon said.
“Here!” an unnamed pegasus and unicorn called out.
“Who are you two again?” Diamond Tiara asked.
“I’m Clover,” The green unicorn mare said.
“I’m Blue Streak,” The blue pegasus mare said.
“Why are they here?” Silver Spoon asked.
“Because we needed new members to the CMC, an ah got some news, yer all accepted,” AB said.
“That easily?” Clover asked.
“Yep! We’re planning on taking the CMC nationwide and you two can be our messengers when you get back to Trottingham,” Sweetie said.
“Cool!” Blue said.
“Ugh, we only joined because my dad was pressuring me into joining a social club now that school is over,” Diamond rolled her eyes.
“Well you're welcome anyways,” Scootaloo said.
“Now down to business, we’ve found our cutie marks, now we have to make our move, the future of the CMC is at stake,” Sweetie said.
“What?” Rumble wanted clarification.
“We nearly ended the club at one point due to running out of ideas, but now that we have more members, things can pick up,” Scootaloo announced.
“So… what now?” Diamond Tiara asked.
“We-” AB was cut off as something was thrown through the window.
“AH!” Everypony yelped and when they saw it was a book Rumble ran to the window and looked around but saw nopony.
“Odd, hey! Who threw that!?” Rumble demanded.
“Weird book,” Scootaloo said as she picked it up and examined it.
“What is it?” Pipsqueak asked.
“It looks like some kind of tome,” Sweetie mentioned.
“Well whoever threw that has to pay for a new window,” AB griped.
“Yeah, I’ll bet they stole this from Twilight’s place,” Scootaloo said not noticing the book shaking before it got intense.
“Huh? Scootaloo, the book!” Clover exclaimed and Scootaloo looked down and saw the shaking book.
“What the? What’s happening?” Scootaloo demanded.
“Maybe it’s cold?” Snip offered.
“Or angry,” Snails added.
“I-” Suddenly they were cut off as the book swung open and a bright light filled the clubhouse with everypony in there screaming.
Celestia raised her head upon sensing a magic surge.
“No… we’re too late!” Celestia said as they sped up.
“We must hurry!” Luna said.
“No!” Radiant cried as the clubhouse came into sight.
“Sweetie! AB! Scoots, be alright!” Radiant said as she spread her wings and flew up to the door and came in on a disturbing sight.
It seems they were indeed too late, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, an unnamed pegasus and unicorn were in the final stages of the fusion.
Rumble, Pipsqueak, Snips, and Snails were fusing at the waist.
And the CMC… they were screaming as it was their lower halves were fused and their sides were fusing into one.
“NO!” Radiant cried trying to intervene but Celestia stopped her.
“It’s too dangerous to interfere with the fusion process…” Celestia said looking down.
“No…” Radiant said with tears in her eyes as she watched as it was only their heads separate and eventually they pressed against eachother and began combining into a singular head.
When it was over she pitched forward onto the ground just like the other two new alicorns in the room.
She was wearing a pink and white striped shirt with a blue skirt and she had AB’s bow in her hair.
She was a cream-colored mare with a mane that mixed the colors of the three mares from before, her wings were orange-tipped and her eyes were a blended shade of their eye colors, all and all she was quite pretty.
Looking at the stallion in the corner he was a dark grey with a black mane, his mane having brown and orange stripes in it, true to being a male alicorn he was muscular and tall and was wearing a blue shirt with jeans.
And lastly, the new female alicorn was a greyish pink pony with a grey mane and a blue streak in it and she had glasses along with a purple dress shirt and skirt.
“Radiant, stay here and take care of them, we must locate the book,” Luna informed her.
“Ok,” Radiant said despondently as the others took their leave.
Celestia flew through the air with Brave Wing at her side.
“Celestia, where do you think the book went?” Brave asked.
“I can sense its unique magic signature this way, we must hurry,” Celestia said as she flew in the direction of the signature.
As she was flying she saw something that let her know she was headed in the right direction.
The book being carried by a transparent being and they were fleeing back into town through another path.
“THERE!” Celestia fired a beam at the being and it noticed before dodging out of the way.
It paused as Brave Wing, Celestia and Luna landed across from it.
“Stop right there,” Celestia demanded.
“Do not interfere…” The being warbled.
“What is it?” Brave Wing asked but Celestia ignored him and fired a magic blast at the being who fired back with a beam from its horn and the blast was stopped.
It tried to run but Luna teleported in front of it and trapped it in a magic bubble.
“I got her!” Luna said.
“Begone!” Celestia cast a spell that blasted the being and it screeched as it was sucked back into the book.
Then the book fell to the ground and Luna lowered the bubble.
“Ok!” Luna used a spell to lock it back up.
“Whew, we did it,” Celestia wiped her brow and she picked up the book.
“I’m still confused,” Brave Wing said.
“Later, come,” Celestia said as they made their way back to the clubhouse.
When they got back they saw Radient comforting them.
Two female alicorns and one more male alicorn.
“Alright, does the word Apple mean anything to you?” Radiant tried.
“No…” The CMC alicorn said.
“How about-”
“Enough, we don’t remember!” The stallion barked, clearly stressed.
“Alright alright,” Radiant sighed.
“Radiant, we did it,” Celestia assured her but Radient looked down.
‘Did we? We may have just lost three sets of ponies because we were too slow…” Radiant said.
“I can help them,” Celestia said before she approached them and knelt before them.
“Who are you?” The pink and grey alicorn asked.
“I will remind you,” Celestia said before she lit her horn and bathed the three in her light, suddenly their memories came flooding back.
“AH!” The three cried as their thoughts stopped being so erratic and they realized their previous lives.
“Whoa… I-I can’t believe it,” The pink mare said.
“I can’t either,” The grey stallion said.
“How do we even go on like this?” The cream-colored mare asked.
“We have the book back, that’s what matters, come let us head back to the castle, we have… much to discuss,” Celestia said and they got up and followed.
All they knew now, is that they may have a scolding ahead.

Revelations
The group headed back to the castle, they knew ponies were looking at them, thanks to the cloaks Celestia provided nopony knew… yet.
When will they have to tell them that Equestria may have five new alicorns?
As they made their way back to the castle and approached it Mayor Mare was unexpectedly standing there.
“Pardon me princesses, but multiple ponies are wondering what was the commotion, and who are these ponies accompanying you?” Mayor Mare asked.
“All will be revealed in due time, but for now we must have a meeting in the castle,” Celestia said and they walked around her.
“O-ok,” Mayor Mare said unsurely.
As they walked into the castle Luna spoke up.
“So, where is your student and younger brother?” Luna asked.
“Spike remained here if you remember, and Starlight is in the human world with Sunset, they should be stopping by soon,” Radiant Shine replied.
“We should find Spike, he’ll want to hear what we’re going to talk about,” Luna said.
“Yeah,” Radiant agreed as the group removed their cloaks and walked to the sitting area, while Radiant went to go look for her little bro.
“I’m getting a snack if that’s alright,” The CMC alicorn walked into the kitchen.
“Don’t be long,” Celestia informed her.
“Soooo…. I want to know if what’s happened to me is permanent,” The smaller grey alicorn stallion asked.
“Yeah, if not then I’ll be fine,” The pink alicorn said.
“What about your fragments?” Brave Wing asked.
“I think this is what they’ve secretly wanted, at least that’s what I’m hearing in my head,” She shrugged.
“When Radiant and Spike get back downstairs we need to inform everypony what is going to happen, I just hope Spike wasn’t caught up in the spell,” Celestia said.
“Why? He’s a dragon, he should be immune right?” Brave asked.
“Because-” Suddenly they heard a scream and their attention shot to the stairs “....That is why…” Celestia sighed.
A minute later Radient came downstairs with a purple and green alicorn stallion's arm over her shoulder.
“Guys! Look at what happened to Spike! We have to do something!” Radiant said.
“No, he’ll be fine after some rest, bring him here,” Luna stated and Radiant looked hesitant but she carried Spike down the stairs.
“What? What’s goin on?” The CMC alicorn walked in from the kitchen.
And dropped the salad she was bringing in as she saw the alicorn with all too familiar colors.
“S-Spike!?” she cried.
“Uuugh…” Spike winced as his head hurt and Radiant helped him over to Luna.
“It is as we feared,” Luna said with chagrin.
“What?” Radient asked.
“The spell had a delayed effect due to Spike being a dragon, I can sense the ambient magic on him,” Luna said.
“Oh dear,” Radiant said examining him and seeing he didn’t seem injured, somepony else was examining him too…
The CMC alicorn was staring at Spike with a longing expression.
“Hello?” The grey alicorn waved in her face and she snapped out of it.
“S-sorry,” She stuttered and blushed.
“Before we begin I wish to hear what we may call you all,” Celestia announced.
“What you’ll call us all? You make it sound like we’re stuck like this,” The pink alicorn said nervously.
“We’ll get to that soon, but first we need surnames,” Luna said.
That got everypony not named thinking.
And they quickly came up with answers.
“I’m thinking… Platinum Tiara,” the pink alicorn said.
“Why?” Radiant asked.
“Because platinum sounds expensive and I’m wearing a tiara,” Platinum said.
“Ok,” Radient nodded.
“Sky High,” the grey alicorn stated “Makes me sound like some awesome hero or something,” Sky said.
“And I’m part apple, among others, so how about… Golden Apple,” the CMC alicorn said with a smile.
“Good names,” Luna nodded.
“Very well, Platinum Tiara, Sky High, Golden Apple, sit and we will discuss something important,” Celestia before cascading a silence spell on the walls.
“What did you do that for?” Brave asked.
“We need this conversation to be private, because the things we’re going to be revealing will be… a revelation to be frank,” Celestia said.
“Alright, what did you want to talk about?” Radiant asked sitting by Spike.
“...The truth… about alicorns…” Celestia sighed.
“Celly, maybe we shouldn’t,” Luna said.
“Trust me Luna, I wish it hadn’t come to this,” Celestia said before looking at all the confused ponies.
“...Alicorns never used to exist,” Celestia said.
“What?” Platinum said.
“It is true, alicorns weren’t even a concept back in the day, until Starswirl found a way to make them,” Luna added.
“Make alicorns… you mean, alicorns are an artificial species?” Radiant asked.
“Yes, they were made by Starswirl’s genius, but the power of an alicorn came from the concept by which his student completed,” Celestia said.
“Starswirl had a student?” Brave asked.
“I thought he didn’t,” Sky High said.
“He did, and this student's name was Black Prism, he was an ambitious pony who sought to use what Starswirl had learned to benefit Equestria, but his methods after Starswirl vanished one day under mysterious circumstances were… less than acceptable,” Celestia said with a bowed head.
“Celestia, what did he-” Radient asked before Celestia cut her off.
“He forced ponies to become one, through various experiments, he made various ponies into one, and they all suffered horrible fates,” Celestia said.
“Oh…” Golden said sounding nervous.
“He sought only to create the ideal pony, one that embodies a trait from every tribe, and after many experiments Prism found the solution, and he tested it on three captured ponies, one a unicorn, one an earth pony, and one a pegasus, the first success, and the resulting pony not only didn’t die soon after, they were gifted with immortality, and as a result, he got ready to commit more atrocities but he was stopped when a pony he captured broke free of his bindings and knocked him out, the rest was a blur to that alicorn but he saved her and took her and the others to safety, alerting the authorities the mad pony Black Prism was captured and executed…” Celestia said.
“...Celestia… it almost sounds like… you know what happened exactly that day,” Radient said.
“I do know… because that pony who was created, was Luna and I’s mother, and the pony who saved her was our father,” Celestia said not looking up.
“That….that’s crazy! What about-” Platinum Tiara exclaimed before Luna answered her.
“Cadance? Twilight? And even the other alicorns of old?... that in itself is a story, you see our mother died after giving birth to us and as such we eventually took over as leader figures when we came of age, we had hoped to find a way to help fix Prism’s mistakes, those of his who were turned into alicorns and survived albeit they were merely dying slowly, we resumed his work in the hopes of finding a cure, the difference being we didn’t hurt innocent ponies to get our way… unfortunately we were too late to save the subjects who were suffering, but we did come across the method to make more alicorns without sacrificing ponies in the process, which is how we ascended Twilight and how we secretly ascended Cadence, but it seems Prism had a surprise too,” Luna said
“How is that?” Golden Apple asked.
“He had broken out of prison and resumed his work in secret, and he created a method to continuing the fusions after he was gone, he created a sentient spell capable of doing so the ‘Alicorn Spell’ Thankfully it never saw the light of day as he was recaptured before he could unleash it, and the spell was hidden away in the archives, for what we had hoped was forever… until today,” Celestia glared at Radiant.
“T-Twilight didn’t know,” Radiant said.
“Regardless the damage is done, and I do not know if it can be reversed or not but I assure you, this will be a difficult adjustment,” Celestia said.
“Is this Black Prism gone?” Sky said.
“Yes, he was a mortal unicorn who lived thousands of years ago, but now it seems his work has come back to haunt us regardless,” Celestia said with a sigh.
“So, what now?” Platinum Tiara asked.
“We prep for the future, we have multiple new royals to introduce,” Celestia said.
“New royals?!” Platinum said eagerly.
“Yes, I suppose since you are all alicorns now we should get to know what your work should imply,” Celestia said.
“Uuuugh,” All eyes went to Spike who sat up and looked around confusedly.
“What? What happened?...” Spike asked.
“Spike, before you panic know that you are alright and safe,” Radiant said.
“What?” Spike looked down at himself… and jumped with a surprised yelp.
“Wha-what happened to me?!” Spike exclaimed.
“Spike, calm yourself,” Luna said.
“Why am I a pony?!” Spike said looking at his hands and not seeing his claws.
Then a pair of hands grabbed his and he looked up into a beautiful pair of green eyes.
“Spike, it’ll be okay,” Golden Apple said firmly.
“....Whoa,” Spike found himself blushing as they stared into eachothers eyes.
“Spike!” Radiant said and the two jumped and looked at Radiant with blushes on their cheeks.
“We’ll focus on this later, for now we need to fix this,” Radiant said.
“Right, yeah,” Spike said embarrassedly.
“Princess, if what you said is true we need to find a way to fix this, is there any way?” Radiant asked.
“I have it confirmed that we don’t yet, I am sorry, in the meanwhile you all must come with me,” Celestia said as she stood up.
“What?” Brave Wing asked.
“We need to go to Canterlot,” Celestia said.
In the distance far from Ponyville a hidden cottage sat in the woods.
And Inside this cottage sat a mysterious black and white mare, she was writing something down when suddenly her horn lit up and her eyes widened.
She hurried outside and looked into the distance, and a smile went across her face.
“The spell…. It was unleashed, it finally happened…. Heh, looks like you weren’t so crazy after all gramps,” She said before she hurried inside to start her prep for a journey.
In an equally distant cave a figure exited and looked out in the direction of Canterlot, and he frowned.
“You fools, looks like the problem escalated, I better get moving,” He said as he went down the cave path.
And went for Canterlot.

Bit of a small chapter, I am honestly struggling a bit with this series, but now I turn to you all, any ideas to help make this story even better?
I just have a lot going on lately, but I'll still churn out some new chapters here and there.
Also I know there are some continuity conflicts but this is more like a non-canon thing, just letting you know.
