Chapters Applejack: The Daughter of the Frog
One sunny in New Orleans we see a hardworking woman who was real busy earning money for a dream restaurant. She was a brown skinned woman and was dressed as a waitress. She was Tiana. See ever since her late father passed away she dreamed of having her own restaurant one day. But the dream was still a long way to go. Anywho she was done working for the day and decided to head home. But then she heard a small whimper coming from the sidewalk next to the restaurant. Tiana went to it and saw a young girl who is 15 years old wrapped in a old blanket holding a cup trying to earn some loose change.
"Are you all right miss?" Tiana asked.
"No. My family went bankrupt and we lost our house and farm. See I used to work on the farm selling the latest apple products and selling them to the customers for some money." The girl explained.
"Hey I remember that. Your father sold a lot of those tasty apple treats. But I'm really sorry that your family went bankrupt. I'm guessing that your parents tried really hard to raise the money but couldn't?" Tiana asked.
The girl lowered her head in sadness as she spoke.
"Well you're half right. But my parents died of cancer. Because of that they couldn't continue working to raise the money. And my granny tried to help but she wasn't in any condition to continue on. And that lead to my family being bankrupt and now I don't have a home anymore."
Tiana felt really bad for the girl. How one could lose her parents at a young age and go bankrupt after is beyond cruel and dark.
"Oh you poor dear. I'm so sorry about your parents. That sounds awful. No wonder you're all alone and sad." Tiana said.
"It's not your fault. It's mine. If I have sticked with my parents when they were running low on cash then none of this would have happened." The girl responded.
"Don't blame yourself. It isn't your fault. Deep down in your heart you know that you're parents did the very best they could to raise the money. You wanted to help and they would appreciate that with all their hearts." Tiana assured.
"Yeah. That's for sure. I never caught your name by the way." The girl said.
"Oh. I'm Tiana. And you are?"
"Im Applejack. And I really appreciate you helping me feel a little better. But I still feel very homeless right now." Applejack said sad.
Then Tiana had an idea. She may not have the time to have a social life but that doesn't mean she will leave her in the dust. She was very young and needed a home and something to earn a little cash.
"You know what Applejack? I won't have you staying out here in the streets. Why don't you come stay with me and I'll get you settled in?" Tiana asked.
"You really mean that?" Applejack wondered.
"Yes. You won't be living on the streets anymore. So come with me and I'll be happy to let you stay. I kinda see you as a daughter I want. Hardworking and honest." Tiana answered.
Applejack smiled and Tiana took her hand and led her to the house she lived in. Meanwhile a man in a voodoo witch doctor outfit was watching and noticed the girl. He was Dr.Faciler aka The Shadow Man. His shadow growled and didn't like what he saw.
"There's something about Applejack that I can't put my finger on. Oh wait. That's the girl that I tricked her sweet parents into taking their money. And sorry for her but that costed their lives." The Shadow Man smirked evily.
He then took out two voodoo dolls of her real parents and they both had needles in the hearts. Since he was an evil witch doctor he was the one who killed Applejack's parents and caused the bankruptcy.
With Tiana and Applejack they finally arrived at her place and Applejack was so happy to be inside someplace that wasn't the streets anymore. While Applejack took the time to actually relax for a bit Tiana went upstairs and decided to get her room all ready for her to sleep in. After about 30 minutes nighttime came in and Tiana came downstairs and got Applejack.
"Hey dear. I have your room all ready." Tiana said.
Applejack smiled and got up. Tiana took her back upstairs and showed her the room she made. It was a little small but she can manage it. It had a dresser, A medium sized bed, and a loving picture of her real parents when she was a little baby. Tiana saw the picture and smiled. In the photo is a woman with orange curly hair and a yellow skinned man with red hair wearing a Steadson hat holding a baby.
"They your parents? They sure are nice people." Tiana asked.
"Yeah. That's them. But unfortunately there were a few things that happened during that time. Like how my grandpa didn't appreciate my parents marriage and left. He made pear treats when he was young and since moving he hasn't called or sent a message since." Applejack spoke sadly and honest.
"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. You know my mother can be a little worried about me and wants to protect me but she still cares. I'm sure your grandpa cares too. Maybe one day we can give him a call and you can reunite with him. Would you like that?" Tiana asked.
"Yes. It would make me happy to see my grandpa at least." Applejack smiled.
"Alright. And since you used to help your parents with the apple treats I decided to get you a little job at the restaurant. All you need to do is get the dishes to the customers." Tiana said.
"Ok. At least I'll be able to earn some change." Applejack replied.
"Im glad to hear that. Now get some rest. Tomorrow we start your day on the job." Tiana said as she left her room and Applejack went to sleep.
She was happy to have a home but will soon need to be careful on the roads. Especially with that Shadow Man on the loose.

The next morning Tiana and Applejack got up and was ready for their day at the restaurant. Knowing that place it will be busy. And Tiana will have some help getting the orders to the customers. While they were doing that a handsome man named Naveen came to town along with his servant Lawrence. They were scheduled to arrive for a party but Naveen insisted that they have a little fun first. After a few minutes of playing music then they got back on there way. Til they ran into The Shadow Man smiling at them.
"Gentlemen! A tip of the hat from Dr Faciler. How ya doing?" He asked giving Naveen a card.
"Dr Faciler. Tarot Readings. Potions. Dreams made real." Naveen read.
"Yes. Now I understand that Im not a betting man. But I wager that Im in a company of visiting royalty." The Shadow Man smirked.
"Lawrence! This man has read my palm!" Naveen said surprised.
"Or the morning's newspaper. Sir this man is nothing but trouble. I suggest we be on our way and no more distractions." Lawrence snarked.
However the Shadow Man overheard that and frowned.
"Don't you disrespect me little man! Don't you derogate or deride." The Shadow Man said as he started singing.

As he was singing he took the boys to his place where he performs all sorts of dark magic. Even his shadow was dancing to the tune. The boys both sat down at the table and he placed three cards down and surprisingly he revealed the past, the present and the future at the same time for both guys. And then when he offered both of them a deal and shook his hands that's when the real magic show began. Facilier transforms Naveen into a frog and transforms Lawrence into Naveen's doppelganger using a voodoo and used a tails man that is containing Naveen's blood. Once Facilier was done singing he posed and intends for the disguised Lawrence to marry Charlotte, then to kill her father with a voodoo doll so he can gain the La Bouff fortune.
"Haha! So Lawrence. What's say you and me team up to take the fortune from Big Daddy and we split it?" The Shadow Man offered.
"Well I don't see any problem with it. But why can't you wear this ghastly thing?" Lawrence asked as he almost dropped it but caught it.
"First be careful with that! And second here is a fun fact about voodoo Larry." The Shadow Man said as he placed the tails man on him but nothing happened. "I can't conjure a thing for myself. And besides you and I know the real power in this world isn't magic. It's money! Buckets of it."
"That's true." Lawrence agreed.
"Aren't you tired of all those fat cats riding around in their fancy cars? While they don't give you so much of the sideways glance?" The Shadow Man asked.
"Yes. I am. So what do I have to do Shadow Man?" Lawrence answered.
"All you need to do is marry Big Daddy's little princess. Then I will dispose his life away and before you know it we'll be splitting that juicy La Bouff fortune right down the middle. 60/40 like I said." The Shadow Man explained.
"Nice. But what about Naveen?" Lawrence wondered.
"That guy won't be trouble. Besides all he'll be is a minor bump in the road. So long as we got the prince's blood in this." The Shadow Man smirked.
The two both smirked at each other knowing that their plan will come to success. If that happens then all of New Orleans will be in danger.

Nighttime rolled in and we see Tiana in a princess costume and Applejack in a cat costume. Wonder why? Because tonight was the night the Mari Gras party at the mansion everyone was having a good time except for Tiana. And the reason why is because Tiana learns she has been outbid for the mill; and she becomes despondent. When Applejack noticed the sad look on her face she wanted to know what's wrong.
"Are you okay?" Applejack asked.
"Physically yes but emotionally no. I've been outbid for the mill and therefore I won't be able to open up my dream. And Applejack? Im sorry to say but I think you might not have the life you want. I know you were excited and I should have told you sooner but I didn't know how." Tiana worried.
"You didn't disappoint me. Although I'm sorry you won't have your dream restaurant I'm happy to not be on the streets alone again. So I say you did a good job letting me stay and taking me in." Applejack smiled.
Tiana smiled knowing Applejack was right. But still was disappointed that her dream was not coming true. Then she saw a bright star in the sky. Then realized something when she and Charlotte were kids. If her friend wished for the prince to come then what's to say that Tiana couldn't do the same? She couldn't believe she was doing this. So she closed her eyes and quietly wished on the star in hoping that there was some way she can still open her dream restaurant. But when she opened then the two saw a frog on the porch. Tiana got a little annoyed knowing that isn't funny.
"Very funny." Tiana said.
"So what now? I reckon you want a kiss or something?" Applejack asked the frog.
The frog stood silent but then spoke! "Kissing would be nice yes?"
The two girls freaked out and crashed straight into Charlotte's toy shelf. He was startled from their reactions and tried calming them down.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." The frog said
However Tiana was still freaking out as she threw some toys at him. Applejack however quickly realized that this frog wasn't something to be scared about. Of course it was still creepy that it can talk. The frog had enough and needed to get Tiana to stop.
"Ok please! Put the monkey down!!" The frog said.
Tiana was about to throw it but Applejack took it and calmed her down. She then placed it back and walked over to the frog for answers.
"Who are you?" Applejack asked.
"Ok allow be to introduce myself. I am Prince Naveen. And you are?" The frog said.
"Well I'm Applejack. And this is Tiana." She introduced.
"Your a prince? But I didn't wish for any..." Tiana said. But then she realized that if he was the prince then who was dancing with Charlotte on the floor?
"You don't look like a prince. Even if you are what happened to you?" Applejack wondered.
"And if you ARE the prince then who was waltzing with Charlotte on the dance floor?" Tiana asked.
"Look ladies all I know is one minute I was a prince charming and handsome but then the next minute I'm tripping over this frog feet." Naveen explained.
"I can certainly tell. How did you get turned into one?" Applejack asked.
"Long story. But.....wait a minute. I know this story! That book you have!" Naveen smiled.
"The Frog Prince?" Tiana answered.
"Yes! My mother had her servants read this to me every night! Yes yes yes! That's the answer!! You must kiss me." Naveen explained.
"Excuse me?" Tiana asked.
"Hold on. You want Tiana to kiss you?! That's disgusting!" Applejack shouted.
"Ladies. Ladies. I know you think that's weird but she must kiss me. Look besides being extremely handsome I also happened to come from a wealthy family. So surely I can offer you somekind of reward." Naveen offered.
Then Tiana looked at the very poster she had when she was little. She did dream of having her own restaurant and if Naveen was telling her the truth then she had no reason to decline. She sighed she faced him.
"Just one kiss?" Tiana asked.
"Just one and that's all. Unless you beg for more." Naveen answered.
"Don't push it." Applejack said.
Still believing that Tiana is a princess, Naveen waited for her answer to kiss him to break Facilier's spell. Tiana reluctantly agrees after Naveen promises to finance her restaurant. However, because Tiana is not a princess, she is transformed into a frog as well. And when he and Applejack saw her they were in shock. Tiana screamed and was panicking.
"Easy princess! Please calm yourself down!" Naveen said.
"What did you do to me?! I'm green and slimy!!" Tiana freaked.
"No no no. That is not slime. Your covered in mucus." Naveen reasoned.
But that didn't make Tiana feel any better as she growled and pouted on the shelf. Applejack witnessed the whole thing and needed to revert them back to normal.
"Ok please calm down. Look Naveen I know you said that this kiss was supposed to work but I think Tiana isn't really a princess. But you are cursed and we need to get you two back to normal. Although I have a bad feeling that I know someone that has dark magic. Someone that might be the same guy who caused my real parents to go bankrupt." Applejack worried.
"Funny you mentioned that. Cause I met a fellow not too long ago. But he had a bunch of dark voodoo stuff he used. Like a witch doctor." Naveen realized.
"Hold that thought. If this witch doctor used dark magic to make you a frog and accidentally turned Tiana into one as well then we need someone who can do light voodoo magic to undo this curse." Applejack suggested.
"You might be right but where are you gonna find a person who can do light voodoo magic in New Orleans?" Tiana asked.
"I honestly don't know. But it can't hurt to try and look. I'm taking you two frogs with me. You helped me out by getting me off the streets so it's my turn to return the favor." Applejack smiled.
Tiana smiled and Naveen watched their bond get stronger. So Applejack had the frogs on her shoulder and the trio headed off to find a way to reverse the curse and return both of them to normal.

It was still a long way to see Mama Odie. Ray was leading Applejack and her companions in the right way but she was a little tired. But suddenly they all heard a strange creepy noise. When Applejack turned she saw the shadow monsters chasing them. The demons discover Tiana and her group in the bayou and they began running from them. They would have been trapped but luckily Mama Odie rescues the group by vanquishing them in the light. They were now in a tree that was full of voodoo stuff. But this was nothing like the Shadow Man's lair.
"I'm glad y'all okay! Those nasty shadows were sure gonna take you away til that Shadow Man has you." Mama Odie said in relief.
"Well thank you. You must be Mama Odie." Tiana replied.
"Ha! I sure am! But you don't have anything to worry about. I'm a nice woman. But I don't really get much visitors that often." Mama Odie replied.
"We appreciate you saving us. I'm Applejack Tiana's daughter and of course you met Tiana and this is Naveen, Louis and Ray. And we really need your help." Applejack said.
"You came to the right place. So tell Mama Odie what the issue is." She encouraged.
"Well we were trying to find a way to return Tiana and Naveen back to normal and we thought that you might be the only one who knows how to reverse the effects. So can you help us?" Applejack asked.
"Sure child! But if you want them to be human you'll have to listen to me and I'll get you back to normal!" Mama Odie said as she started singing.

Everyone was swinging to the tune that they all decided to join in and dance along. Applejack didn't know that she can sing good and after a few minutes they all posed and Mama Odie got to work on figuring a way to turn Tiana and Navven back to normal. Mama Odie tells Naveen the spell can only be broken with a princess's kiss.
"So your saying that the only way they can be turned back to normal is if they kissed? But that didn't work the last time." Applejack reminded her.
"Ah that's because he didn't kiss a princess. See when he does the spell that Shadow Man casted will be completely broken and they will return to normal." Mama Odie explained.
Then Tiana realizes that since Big Daddy has been crowned Mardi Gras king, Charlotte will be a princess until midnight. And Applejack was still thinking about this Shadow Man that Mama Odie mentioned. She then gasped realized what really happened back then. When she was 5 years old and her parents were around she saw them making a deal with the Shadow Man thinking he can help them raise more money. But all he did was use his magic to trick them out of money and that what was caused the bankruptcy and he gave their souls to his friends on the other side. Flashing back she now know why this all happened.
"Shadow Man. He's the reason why I went homeless! He lied telling me that they died of cancer! But really he took their souls away!" Applejack now knows.
Everyone gasped hearing the truth of her tragic backstory.
"So the reason why you went homeless wasn't only cause of the bankruptcy. The Shadow Man was behind all of this!" Tiana replied.
"Yes. He caused all this the whole time! We gotta get to New Orleans and break the spell before it's too late!" Applejack declared.
Everyone nodded in agreement and knew what had to be done. The group hitches a ride on a paddle steamer back to New Orleans, during which Naveen tells Ray about his love for Tiana and plans to propose marriage to her. After talking to Tiana, Naveen selflessly decides against proposing, since transforming him and Tiana into humans and financing Tiana's restaurant is contingent on him kissing and marrying Charlotte. But then the shadow demons capture Naveen and bring him to Facilier, who uses his blood to replenish the talisman. After Ray tells Tiana of Naveen's love for her, Tiana heads to the Mardi Gras parade to find Naveen, only to see the disguised Lawrence marrying Charlotte. Heartbroken, Tiana flees the scene. Applejack followed her behind and didn't want to leave her side. It seems things are getting worse by the minute.

I hope they can fix all this before the Shadow Man gets away with this.

Applejack vs The Shadow Man
With Ray he traveled far and wide searching for Naveen. After a few hours he rescues him and steals the talisman, which he gives to Tiana before Facilier mortally wounds him. The girls ran as fast as they could so the Shadow Man wouldn't catch them. But the shadow monsters were chasing them. Then Tiana threatened to smash the tailsman til the Shadow Man blew some magic dust in their faces turning Tiana back into a human and in a lovely dress and the scene turned into his dream restaurant.
"Now isn't this a whole lot better than running around the bayou for the rest of your lives?" Shadow Man asked.
"Shadow Man." Applejack said.
"Hehehe. You know I gotta hand it to you Tiana. When you dream you dream BIG. Just look at this place! It will be the crown jewel of New Orleans! But to make it happen is handing over that tailsman." The Shadow Man offered.
"No. This isn't right." Tiana replied.
"She's right. Especially since I finally realized that you were the one behind everything. You made my parents go bankrupt, you took their souls away and left me homeless. So there's no way I accept any deal of yours." Applejack agreed.
"Oh come on now. That was a little mistake back then. This time I will grant you that dream. And if you like you can see your parents again. Just hand over that tailsman and wish granted. What do you say?" The Shadow Man asked.
Applejack knew that Shadow Man was no good. And he do anything to trick her into giving the tailsman. And with Tiana realizing that she would be dishonoring her father by accepting, Tiana knew that her father never lost sight of what was really important: family. So she turned down the deal, got turned back into a frog but then destroys the talisman. Shadow Man freaked out seeing that.

Applejack grabbed Tiana and hid behind a statue where Shadow Man tried to reason with his friends on the other side but they weren't listening. No matter how hard he tried they continue to ignore him. With Facilier's plan foiled, the voodoo spirits drag him into their world for failing to pay back his debt. After Lawrence is arrested, Tiana reveals her love to Naveen. Charlotte is moved by this and agrees to kiss Naveen so he and Tiana can be human together, but as the clock strikes midnight, Charlotte is no longer a princess, so Tiana and Naveen remain frogs. Ray dies shortly thereafter and is reincarnated as a star. This made Applejack very upset seeing they were too late.
"I'm so sorry Tiana. And Applejack? I'm sorry that you went through all this trouble for nothing. This must be so hard on you." Charlotte replied.
"It's okay. Even though the Shadow Man tried to trick me into giving my parents back I knew he wouldn't. But I still wish that I had a family." Applejack said.
"Applejack. You have us now. In fact Naveen wants to tell you something." Tiana replied.
"What is it?" Applejack asked.
"Applejack. Tiana told me of everything that happened to you since the day that Shadow Man came and ruined your childhood. But you know what? I actually love Tiana and since you see her as your mother I decided that I'll marry her and become your father. And once were together you'll have a family once more." Naveen said.
This made Applejack very happy as she cried happy tears. She picked up the two frogs and placed them on her shoulders. She walked right back to Mama Odie because their was only one last thing to do. Have Tiana and Naveen married and hopefully the curse will be lifted.

The Wedding and A New Family
Back in the bayou we see all sorts of bayou creatures gathered at Mama Odie's place for a wedding. Applejack helped out making Tiana's veil and sat down watching the whole thing go down. Tiana and Naveen are married by Mama Odie, and since doing so makes Tiana a princess, both are restored to human form.
Applejack smiled seeing Tiana back to normal and hugged her. After about 10 minutes they separated and she looked at Naveen. He was without A doubt quite A handsome man and looked at Applejack with a smile on his face.
"Naveen? Is that what you really look like?" Applejack asked.
"Yes Applejack. And now that were together that makes me your father now. And from here on now you will no longer be alone and you will be part of this family forever." Naveen answered.
"Thank you dad. And since you returned to normal I guess you really did kiss a princess." Applejack said.
"Oh he did Applejack. But I think you should be our little princess now. In fact since were now royalty you need a nice dress to have. Mama Odie?" Tiana replied.
She nodded and casted a spell on Applejack. Something began forming onto her her feet had glass slippers, and A dress began to take form on her body. When it was completed she floated back down and looked at her dress. It was a combination of her mom's along with some western detail added on. And when she placed a hand on her head she felt a crown on her and it looked liked the same one Tiana has.
"Oh my. I...I can't believe that I'm A princess now too." Applejack said surprised.
"You sure are Applejack. And since you are a princess too....how would you like to be adopted into this family?" Tiana asked.
"Yes. Yes I would accept that! Thank you mom!" Applejack said as she hugged her.
"You are very welcome sweetheart. Naveen get in here and join the lovefest." Tiana offered.
He chuckled and went to them and embraced in the hug. Mama Odie cried a little seeing such happiness happening in this moment. They later return to New Orleans to legally marry and open Tiana's restaurant. But not only that they also brought their new friends there too. Louis was playing the trumpet jazz ing out with the boys and Applejack was dancing along with Charlotte. She was really enjoying her company and Tiana was happy for them. Applejack continued dancing til she bumped into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry sir. I didn't see you there." Applejack said.
"It's okay. I really should pay more attention to my surroundings but i..." The man said but was now in shock.
He was a red skinned man with orange hair and when he saw Applejack he instantly got teary eyed.
"Applejack? Is that you?" He asked.
"Yes. Do I know you?" Applejack wondered.
"Oh you did a long time ago. I'm your lost brother Big Mac! And it's not just me there's someone else I wanted you to see after so long." Big Mac said.
He stepped aside and saw a young girl with yellow skin, red hair and a bow in there. When she saw Applejack she got teary eyed as well. But nog so much as Applejack was as she remembered a little girl she used to live with all those years ago.
"Apple Bloom? Is it you?" Applejack asked.
"Yes. Your little sister that I want you to see after so long. After when that Shadow Man bankrupt us I needed to take Apple Bloom with me to make sure that no one took her. I'm sorry we worried you so much but we are glad to see your okay. And you look like a princess now." Big Mac smiled.
"That's cause I am a princess. My new parents are now royalty. If you want I can see if they would accept you in the family." Applejack offered.
"We would love that Applejack." Apple Bloom said.
So she and her old family members went to Tiana and Naveen to see if they would accept them in the family. It didn't take long for Tiana and Naveen to agree and they did accept them in the family and Applejack smiled big and hugged them for letting them stay with them. And that ends another Disney adoption story with a happy ending.

It was a long journey for Applejack and her frog companions. She sighed fearing that she may not find a way to return the two to normal. Then the trio are chased into a nearby bayou, where they meet an alligator named Louis. Applejack freaked out seeing an alligator but he showed he's not a threat.
"Whoa! Easy miss! It's okay. I'm a friendly alligator. There's nothing to be scared of. See?" The alligator said.
She sighed in relief and calmed down.
"Who are mister? I've never seen a talkin gator before." Applejack asked.
"I'm Louis. See I never wanted to hurt anyone here. My life long dream is to jam out playing jazzy tunes with the big boys! The bayou is the greatest place to play tunes!" Louis replied.
"Well why didn't you go out there and jam out?" Naveen asked.
"Oh I tried once. But it didn't end so well." Louis answered.
"Guess they couldn't stand seeing an alligator on the ship." Applejack said.
"No they couldn't. So here I am all lonely and stuck out here all by myself. Oh I wish I could be human and jazz out." Louis replied sadly.
"You know Louis. Maybe there is a way. See I'm on my way to find someone who can do light voodoo magic and turn these two frogs back into humans. But I can't swim that far. Can you help us?" Applejack asked.
"Well if I know the situation your in then yes I can help." Louis answered.
After informing Louis they are actually humans under a voodoo spell, he then realizes of Mama Odie, another voodoo practitioner who lives in the bayou. Naveen kindly manipulates Louis into taking him, Applejack and Tiana to see Mama Odie.
"So Louis who exactly is this Mama Odie you mentioned?" Applejack asked.
"She's a voodoo practitioner that does lots of voodoo stuff. The only thing is that she lives somewhere deep in the bayou. The deepest part of the swamp." Louis explained.
"Good to know. I'm sure you'll be able to get us there and we can find a cure for this." Applejack smiled.
However, Louis does not know the way to Mama Odie. Luckily for them a Cajun firefly named Ray, who knows Mama Odie, helps the four.
"Well lookie what we got here! A whole group of new faces to see!" The firefly said.
"Um you can say that. Who are you?" Applejack asked.
"I'm known as Raymond. But everyone calls me Ray." He said.
"Well nice to meet you Ray. I'm Applejack and this is Naveen, Tiana, and Louis. Um we were wondering if you can tell us where we can find Mama Odie?" Applejack asked.
"Sure I can! But y'all be going the wrong way. Here lemme get my friends to help y'all out. We'll make sure you get to Mama Odie!" Ray answered.
So he whistled and lots of lights were shined on meaning his friends were nearby. And they were more than willing to help the four lead the way to Mama Odie. During the journey, Tiana and Naveen begin developing feelings for each other, especially after Naveen learns to be more responsible. Applejack smiled seeing the two starting to grow some love.
But back in New Orleans The Shadow Man was watching them and looked furious. He didn't want anything ruining his plan to take the fortune so Facilier asks his "friends on the other side" (a legion of voodoo spirits) to help retrieve Naveen, and they grant him an army of shadow demons to do his bidding. Then headed out and searched for the frog. This is only more trouble for them.
