Just shy of four years after filling her husband with enough gay potion to drive a lesser stallion insane, Cadance is finally being returned to her throne. During her absence, the official story was that she was off on a goodwill mission outside of Equestria, and the population at large has bought that. They have no reason to believe that she was incarcerated.

During her absence, Shining Armor has done everything in his power to ensure that the crystal ponies he rules over, as well as any other citizens or visitors, are well cared for, and treated with the utmost quality.

However, he knows what Cadance did to him. He knows why, too, but the reasons do not always justify the actions.
