Power Rangers Friendship Fury

At Area 45, Scarlet Knight was planning his next move against the Rangers. “Scarlet Knight's gonna be really proud of me," Chomp Tox said to herself as she worked on an invention. "Just a little bit more."

"Data upload complete." said the computer as it transferred whatever data Mucus had into a new body for one of the previous Negacore Beasts.

"Yoink!" she said, taking the wiring out from the new body and starts humming a merry little tune.

“Chomp Tox, progress report." said Scarlet Knight, coming out of his room.

"Our data on the rangers is uploaded. "The new general is ready! But most importantly, what do you think of my paint job? I think the baby blue really compliments the pink highlights."

"Who cares about color? We're not power rangers. No. The most important thing is what Vulcan taught us."

"You mean how to say 'boom' properly?" she asked.

"No. It's that placing a Neagacore inside a robot gives it the ability to grow giant."

"I guess that's pretty useful." said Chomp Tox as Scarlet Knight walks over and places the Negacore inside the robot. He then pulls the lever, sending an electrical current into the newest body, making him come alive once again.

"Wow!" said Mucus as the table stood upright.

"Greetings, all. I am Masquerade, master of illusion. Behold my dazzling deception!" He then spins around, using his power to create an illusion of being Scarlet Knight.

"Very impressive!" said Void Knight, pleased by this as he sees his double.

"Hi! I'm Chomp Tox." She said to Masquerade. "I built you, so we're gonna be best friends!"

"We will not be best friends, you sniveling fool!"

"Aw!" whimpered Mucus as Masquerade transforms back into himself.

"Ha-ha. Just kidding." he said to her. "We can be best friends. Best friend high-five?"

"Yay!" Mucus goes for a high five, but Masquerade jokingly takes his hand away.

"Whoops!"

"Ow!" said Chomp Tox, accidentally going in headfirst into a table. "That hurt my face, and my feelings."

"You have the rangers' data and know about the chest full of Negacore inside their base." Scarlet Knight said to Masquerade.

"You want it stolen? With my devious talents, they'll never see it coming."

"Exactly the idea."

Outside of the base, Twilight was setting up a device to send out a message. "That should boost my signal."
As it starts to power up, Spike teleports out of the base.

"Spike. The antenna's ready. If they're anyone or any descendants on my planet, they'll definitely receive my messages now."

"What do you mean 'if'?" asked Spike. "I'm sure Magia is thriving with a lot of descendants. I made you a snack from an old recipe I found in your files. I hope it tastes like you remember."

"Wow. That's really thoughtful." said Twilight.

"Oh, it was nothing." said Spike. As Twilight starts to taste it, her facial expression became very interesting that she coughs and gags it back up. "Oh no! What did I do wrong?" he asked. "Too hot? Too cold? Too chunky?"

"I don't think it's the recipe that you thought it was." said Twilight, knowing that Solon tried her best. "Let me show you."

She then shows him the recipe she made for her dog back on Magia. "Attagirl. Eat up." he said to his dog. "You want some more?"

"I made you dog food?" asked Spike, realizing his mistake and holds up a dog bone. "Oh, well, that explains why the dessert recipe turned out like this."

"Hey, I appreciate the gesture."

"No room for dessert. I get it." said Spike, tossing the bone behind her. "Next time, I'll just order a pizza. Probably one, with extra cheese."

Twilight turns on the communication device and begins recording her message. "People of Magia, I am Twilight, leader of the Friendship Fury Power Rangers, calling from Planet Earth…. again. The Negacore are loose once more. Please, if you're out there, send me a signal."

"So, the red ranger wants to meet up with his people?" Masquerade popping up behind some shrubbery. "How sweet."

At Crown Feed, Pinkie was getting ready for the next segment. "Okay, places everyone. Quiet, please."

On camera, K-Borg was preparing Jackpot's makeup. "We're about to roll." Pinkie said to Sunset, who was camera man for the day.

"Camera set."

"We're going live in 5…4….3…..2…" said Pinkie, then looks over at Jackpot with K-Borg quickly rushing out of the camera eye.

"And….action."

"Welcome to Crown Feed Live reviews." said Jackpot. "And today, we're talking about cats. They offer many things, like warmth, companionship, and unconditional love. But they're messy, so it's not worth it. That's why this product was invented, the Catinator 85…a behavior module that allows any android to become a feline friend."

As he said that, both Starlight and Rainbow smiled at each other, trying to hold in their laughter.

"K-Borg? Would you?"

"Um, will this embarrass me?" the android asked.

"No. Relax. You'll be a cool cat."

K-Borg lightly laughs as Jackpot turns it on, rewiring her circuitry a bit. "Meow." meowed K-Borg as cat ears appeared on her head. Everyone behind the camera gasped in shocked as J-Borg continued to meow and lick her face with her hand. K-Borg starts yowling and hissing once she saw the dog in front of her. The dog starts barking at her, causing K-Borg to take off.

"Wait! No, Rufus!" said Rufus' trainer as he takes off after K-Borg.

"K-Cat! Come back!" Jackpot called out after K-Borg. K-Borg ran around the office, chased by Rufus. "K-Cat, stop!"

"Wait! No! Rufus, no! Stop! Come back!"

"K-Cat!"

"And…. cut." said Pinkie.

"Should we go after them?" Sunset asked.

Just then, the rangers' comms were beeping. "You all ready for training?" asked Twilight.

"On our way." said Pinkie.

Back at the base, the rangers began their training session.

"Yah!" said Rainbow, going for Sunset when she dodges his attack and goes for the flag in the middle, then aims the end at Starlight. "Come on."

"Ahh! Yes!" said Rainbow. "Another trophy for my cabinet."

Suddenly, a strike of lightning hits the Alicorn statue. A dark cloud appears above the rangers, then someone appears underneath it.

"Greetings." she said, her hands up in surrender. "I am Mista , a knight…. from Planet Magia."

"Huh."

"Magia?" questioned Twilight. "So, my planet survived after all this time? How? Tell me everything. So, you're a knight too? It's so cool that Magia still has knights. I thought I was the last one."

"The others will be delighted to meet you." said Arla.

"Hey, Mista. I'm….." Rainbow said, rushing up to introduce herself.

"Rainbow, a hotshot athlete. Strong, fearless. A real winner. And you're Sunset. A free-spirited musician."

"Yeah, yeah, but let's get back to all the things I'm great at." said Rainbow as the others walked up. "This is why I love Magicians."

"I'm here on a mission. Magia technology has greatly improved since we fought the Negacore. We now have a way to destroy them."

"Uh, I thought that was impossible, like extremely impossible,” Pinkie said

"It was. But our technology has advanced. You know, we shouldn't let prying ears overhear."

"Let's go to the base." suggested Twilight and teleports everyone inside.

"Whoa! What are you doing?" Spike asked, once the rangers and Mista were in the base. "You brought a stranger into the base?"

"No, it's okay. This is Mista. She's from Magia."

"Magia? Really?" .

"The antenna worked." said Twilight. "She got the message I sent this morning, and she came here to help destroy the Negacore."

"The message from this morning?" Spike asked again. "Wow! You must move quick."

"I came here as soon as I heard it." said Mista, leaning back away from Spike. "Our technology is really advanced. My ship's fast."

"Where is it?" asked Spike. "Our systems would have detected it when you entered orbit."

"This old equipment? I doubt it, you might need to upgrade your tech."

"Upgrade my tech? Ha! this stuff is state of the art."

He hits the panel in front of her, and a song plays. "Never far apart…."

"Oops! I mean, I meant to do that."

"Levi Weston? I didn't know you were into country music." said Sunset as Spike grumbles a bit.

"You haven't heard the best of it. Magia has found a way to destroy Negaciore."

"Huh?"

"And if you show me the ones you've captured, I can get rid of them."

"Hold on." said Spike, rushing over to guard the Negacore they had. "I've been studying the Negacore for millions of years. My results are conclusive. Negacore can't be exterminated. How did they figure it out?"

"Hey, why all the questions? She's a knight of Magia."

"Giving away our Negacore is risky. I'd feel better if she proved herself by reading my mind."

"Oh, uh, sure…." said Arla, scoffing at Spike's accusations.

"You don't have to do that, Arla. "I trust you."

"You do, do you?" Spike asked Twilight when Mista suddenly starts yawning.

"Sorry." she said. "Space travel can be intense. I am truly exhausted."

"You can sleep in one of our chambers." Pinkie offered.

"This way." said Rainbow. The others showed her the sleeping chambers.

"Why are you being so unwelcoming?" asked Twilight. "Arla is from Magia. She is proof that my people survived. Don't you understand what a big deal this is?"

"I know, Twilight. But the Negacore must not end up in the wrong hands."

"Of course. But Mista is on our side. "She wants to destroy the Negacore."

"So, she says. However, if you asked it's all a bit good to be true."

"Voila. Just like a fancy hotel." said Starlight. "Minus the fancy. Sorry. We don't get many guests."

"Its wonderful. Thank you."

"Enjoy." Starlight tells her as they left.

"Sweet dreams."

"Have a good sleep."

"What a lovely group." said 'Mista', then stands up, transforming back into Masquerade. "Ha! Come in, Scarlet Knight."

"Have you called to rethink being friends?" asked Chomp Tox.

"No. But I almost got the Neagcore. I just need those teens out of the way."

"Then I will lure them into a fight, leaving the Neagcore unguarded." said Scarlet Knight.

"My thoughts exactly!"

In town, Scarlet Knight leads his group of Horsemen to create havoc while a woman in the crowds calls the rangers.

"Ranger hotline!" she said into her phone.

"They should arrive right about…. now." said Scarlet Knight as the rangers arrived. "Just the do-gooders I was hoping for."

"Did you miss us that much?" asked Starlight

"Its Morphin time!" said Zayto.

"Friendship Fury Key…..activate!" said the rangers. "Link to Morphin Grid!"

"Alicorn Fury….Red Ranger!"

"Mermaid Fury….Blue Ranger!"

"Sprite Fury….Pink Ranger!"

"Wolf Fury….Green Ranger!"

"Minotaur Fury….Black Ranger!"

"Yeah, yeah. Attack!" said Scarlet Knight, annoyed with their ranger call as he storms towards them.

"Ha!"

"My turn!" said Void Knight.

"Ha!" shouted the rangers, beginning the fight. Back at the base, 'Mista' walks in to see if the coast was clear.

"Hey there." said Spike, popping out from behind a structure as 'Arla' makes her way towards the Negacore. "I thought you might be hungry, so I've made you something to eat."

"Oh. Why, yes." said 'Mista', taking the bowl from Spike. "Hungry. Thank you."

Taking a piece, 'Mista' starts to eat it as Solon watches her intensely. "Mmm." hummed 'Arla'.

"How is it?" Solon asked.

"Mmm, yes…. very…..good."

"Really? Because that's Magian dog food, which you should know!" said Spike. "Unless you're more of a cat lady."

"Actually, I'm not any kind of lady." said 'Mista', revealing his true form.

" I knew you couldn't be trusted!" said Spike.

"Well done." said Masquerade as Spike aims for him. "Gold star for you."

"Don't take that tone with me."

"What are you doing?" asked Masquerade when Spike drags him away from their captured Negacore.

"You won't get our Negacore!" Spike shouted, then teleports them out of the base.

"Hyah!"

"Gotcha!" said Spike, once they were out of the base.

"Jab! Jab!" said Masquerade, using his staff against Spike. "Sweep the leg! And finish! You are one annoying lizard."

"Wrong!" said Spike. "I'm one annoying dragon!"

Spike begins her first battle against Masquerade, until the tip of his staff glows. "Enough!" he said, pointing it at Spike and sent an energy blast at him, causing him to groan and fall to the ground. "The show's over for you, reptile. And the Negacore will be mine."

"No!" Spike said, weakly as he reaches out for her teleporter. Masquerade transforms back into Mista, laughing evilly as he teleports back into the base. "No! Oh!" Spike groans on the ground as he was in shock.

"Ha!" said Amelia as she fought off a Horsemen.

"Got 'em." said Rainbow, coming in to back her up. "Let's go!" said Izzy, as the girls ran out. Twilight was fighting against Void Knight until the others gathered around to join him.

"Well played, rangers." said Scarlet Knight.

"You sorry you picked this fight?" asked Pinkie

"Not as sorry as you'll be." said Scarlet Knight, then teleports away.

"Way to be cryptic." said Pinkie

"I got some bad vibes about this." said Sunset

"Ugh!" said Masquerade as he tosses Spike's teleporter onto the holo-map. "Finally! The Negacore!"

With his back turned, he didn't see the rangers teleporting into the base. "Ha! You're back?" asked 'Mista', walking up to the rangers. "Solon, said there was an attack."

"It was Scarlet Knight." said Twilight. "He was after the Negacore, but he got away."

"Where is Spike?”

"Oh, she said she was going for a walk by the river." said 'Mista'. "I think she's still unhappy with me."

"It's not like him to leave the base in the middle of a fight." said Starlight.

"We should check to see if she's ok." said Sunset.

"I'll stay with 'Mista' and take care of the Negacore."

"Ok. Back in a flash." said Amelia as she gave off a salute. Once the others teleported to find Spike, Twilight turns to Masquerade's facade.

"I'm sorry about all of this,." she said. "Spike and I usually agree on everything."

"Well, maybe I offended him by saying her equipment was outdated."

"I suppose." said Twilight. "Sounds like Magia must be pretty different, with all their new tech."

"Like you wouldn't believe." said 'Arla'. "But we should focus on my mission. We need to get the Negacore to my ship."

"Oh. We can't destroy them here?"

"Impossible. The equipment's built into the ship."

"I see." said Twilight, then sees Spike's teleporter watch on the holo-map as she walks by.

"Do you know how to open this?"

"Yeah." said Twilight, then opens the containment, revealing five Negacore inside. Just as 'Mista' goes to take the Negacore, Twilight did a spell which reads her mind.

[Mind reading]

He sees 'Mista' transforming into Masquerade.

"Ha! Come in, Scarlet Knight." said Masquerade.

[End Mind reading]

"Spike were right." said Twilight. "It was too good to be true. Especially if you're not a descendant from someone I once knew."

"Fine. You caught me." said Masquerade. "I'm really…. Masquerade! Hold for applause. Now give me the Negacore or I'll take them the hard way! Ah, yes. You're stunned by my deception. But I must insist you give me the Negacore!"

Twilight grabs Masquerade’s cane and teleports him out of the base. "No!" cried Masquerade, failing to grab the Negacore as Zayto teleported him to a different part of the city. "How could this happen again?"

"It was all a lie."

"Obviously!" said Masquerade. "Didn't they have school on Magia? Do I need to teach you a lesson?"

"Or I'll teach you one! Link to Morphin Grid!"

"Ha!" scoffed Masquerade.

"Alicorn Fury…Red Ranger!"

"Good color. Great pose." said Masquerade. "Gold star!"

"Hyper Crystal Key…. ready! Ha! Ha! Hyper Slash!"

Twilight rushes forward, fighting Masquerade. "Is that all you got?" as he goes into a striking Twilight in his chest.

"No. There's a lot more." said Twilight as Hyper Crystal wears off. "I've got a team. Rangers, Mista was one of Scarlet Knight's crew in disguise. I need backup."

"Ooh! Should I be scared?" Masquerade taunts her, then lunges for him.

"Probably, yeah." said Twilight as he knocks Masquerade back. "There's nowhere to run."

"What do you mean, there's…." Masquerade started to asked when he turns around to the rangers teleporting in, already morphed.

"Ha!"

"Oh. Well, I've got friends too." said Masquerade. "Horsemen."

Once they were summoned, they aimed their spears at the rangers. "Now, show them what we're made of." ordered Masquerade.

"Ha!" grunted the Horsemen, running towards the rangers. Weapons were zapping as the rangers' sabers made contact.

"For those just joining us, I am Scarlet Knight's new general, Masquerade!" He said, introducing himself to the others.

"My review? Over-written. Needs cuts. Ha! Ha!"

"Slash! Slash!" shouted Slyther, swinging his staff at Twilight. "Dodge! Shield! Noble sacrifice!"

"Uh!" groaned Twilight as Masquerade knocks a Horsemen into him, causing her to fall back into the ground.

"Let's dance!" said Rainbow.

"Ok, greenie." said Masquerade. "Tango!"

He then punches and pushes Rainbow into the ground. "He's got moves." groaned Rainbow.

"So do I. Alicorn Key…..ready!" said Zayto, taking out his Dino Key. Red energy formed behind him as he swings his saber over his head, creating a red Alicorn. "Alicorn Fury Strike! How's that for a trick?"

"I give it a perfect ten." said Pinkie.

"Then you'll love my finale, as a fan favorite….." said Masquerade. "Rooster!"

He grew to giant size and flies into the city. "This guy can shape shift into anyone?" asked Starlight.

"Might wanna rethink where y'all are on the pecking order!" said Masquerade, posing as Rooster.

"We need the Zords. But Spike is missing."

"There's a workaround, but I haven't tried it in…"

"65 million years?" asked

"Yeah."

"Yikes! Fingers crossed."

"Zord deployment override." said Twilight. "Password, Twilight is cool."

"Password accepted." said the base computer.

"Still works."

"Zords combine! Ha!" shouted the rangers as they threw their Dino Keys at their Zords, forming the Megazord. "Frienship Fury Megazord Warrior Formation! Linked! Ha!"

Masquerade flies up into the sky, cawing as he taunts the rangers. "It's time we showed this trickster our hand!" Twilight said to the others.

"Twilight, the sun!" said Starlight, looking up into the sky, seeing Masquerade's trickster form in the sun. "Use its reflection to blind him."

"Great idea!" said Twlight, taking Ollie's suggestion. "Slick Crystal Key…. ready! Let's light it up. Slick 'n' shiny."

The Megazord fires an energy beam at the roof of a random building, creating a shiny surface. When the sun had it hit, Masquerade screamed in pain. "My eyes!" he screeched as the light blinded him as he fell. "I can't see a thing! Bird down!"

As he landed on the ground, rubble flew around him. "Gotta work on my landings." said Masquerade

"Here he comes. Hit him!" said Zayto.

"Wolf Blade Slash!" shouted the rangers.

"Alicorn Blast!"

"Minottaur Drill!"

Masquerade screams in pain as his Rooster form gets hit by the attacks from the Megazord, causing him to stumble back.

"Nice work." said Twilight.

"Yeah!" said the twins.

"Go on, take your shot." said Masquerade.

"We can't." said Amelia. "We'd hit the people on the Ferris Wheel."

"Not a fun ride." said Izzy.

"What are you? Chicken?" asked Masquerade, then gave the rangers a taunting cluck.

"K-Cat." said Jackpot, wandering the city, trying to find the now feline K-Borg. "Where are you, girl?" he then keeps looking up at the battle in front of her. "I don't want you to get stepped on by a giant Negacore Beast."

Behind her, K-Borg pops up, meowing with a fish skeleton in her mouth. "Oh! Yes! I've been searching forever!"

K-Borg hisses at him, causing her to stop in her tracks. "Nice kitty. I'll just get that collar off you."

As she reaches for K-Borg, Jackpot goes around her neck and takes off the collar. Black cat ears were retracked and K-Borg returns to normal. "Huh….."

"K-Borg. Are you okay?" Jackpot asked. Before she could reply, K-Borg starts coughing and gaging as something was in her throat.

"Oh no." he said, realizing that something was wrong. "Is it some kind of malfunction? This wasn't covered in your manual!"

Finally, K-Borg coughs it up and in her hands was a couple of hair balls. "Hairball."

"Come on." said Jackpot, causing K-Borg to toss the hairballs behind her. Just then, Jane and J-Borg looked up at the battle.

"I'm flying the coop!" shouted Masquerade, flapping his wings and taking to the sky.

"Not so fast!" said Twilight. "Mega Friendship Saber! Here's the show stopper."

"Friendship Mega Blast!" shouted the rangers. As Rooster, Masquerade gave out a last caw before being destroyed.

“Frienship Fury Victory!"

"Ahh! Gotta tries for a soft landing!" said Masquerade as he reverts to himslef while heading for the ground. He lands on electrical wiring above Jackpot and K-Borg

"Yowza." said J-Borg as they both watched electricity go through Slyther.

"Yargh!" shouted Masquerade when he finally landed on the ground.

"We'd better get back to Crown Feed." He tells K-Borg when suddenly smells her breath. "Ohh! Oh, we'll get you some mouth wash on the way. You are very fishy."

K-Borg smells her breath and understands what Jackpot meant. Once they left, Chomp Tox teleports in. "Oh no!" she said, seeing Masquerade on the ground and helps him up. "Masquerade, are you okay?"

"Oh! Oh!" groaned Masquerade as Chomp Tox helps him to his feet. "Where am I? Who are you? And who am I?"

"Oh boy! Your memory's been fried. Well, you're Masquerade, and I'm Chomp Tox. And you really hate me….ean people! That's why you're very nice, and we're best buds!"

"Are we?" asked Masquerade, spinning around. "That's fantastic."

"Yay!" squealed Chomp Tox, laughing as they spin around before teleporting away.

"I made you some soothing butter mint tea." said Twilight, handing Spike a cup once they had found her. "Family recipe."

"As long as its not for dogs." said Spike in a raspy voice, sipping the tea as Rainbow fixes his leg.

"My mother would be very stern with me for how I treated you." said Twilight. "I'm sorry. I should've listened to you from the beginning."

"And I shouldn't have fed you dog food." said Spike. "Mistakes happen. But you learned from yours and beat that cruel trickster."

"I’m very proud of you."

"How does that feel?"

"Perfect." she said. "This old Magia tech just won't quit."

"It's the Magia way."

"I'm sorry you didn't learn anything about your home." said Sunset

"I think that one day, you'll find your people." said Pinkie. "At least their descendants."

"To the citizens of Magia, it's me again, Twilight." she said, making another message. "I don't know if there are any of you out there. Even though protecting Earth is my mission, I'll never stop searching for you."
