Blueblood and Cadance grew up close, taking their lessons in the castle together, playing together, and generally being the best of friends. Despite 'officially' being cousins, Celestia (and later, Luna) had always done her best to encourage a sibling-like relationship between the two.

But as they grew up, they grew apart gradually. Stay-overs at the castle became less and less common, and non-lesson related conversations were few and far between. Sometimes, it felt like they hardly knew each other anymore.

This Hearts and Hooves day, Cadance wants to fix that.
