After resting for a night, Turquoise and her party were ready for the Kitsune Temple.

“How much further do we have to go?” Lemon asked.

“Based on our current position it's not far just up that mountain,” Turquoise said, pointing to a mountain.

“What do you call that mountain?” Haruka asked.

“That is Mt. Sora, named after the Kitsune Goddess who guided the Fennecs back in ancient times,” Turquoise said before they reached the beginning of the path up the mountain. Turquoise explained that the higher they went the colder things would get and that the enemies ahead specialize in Ice based attacks. Despite the danger, they kept going. After fighting their way through Wolves and Ice Golems the girls arrive in front of a Japanese-style temple with a red gate of the same origin. As soon as they went through the gate a woman with white skin, long white hair with matching fox ears and nine tails of the same color wearing a long white kimono with snowflakes on it appeared before them.

“Welcome travelers I've been expecting you,” The woman said.

“I did not know there were other players in the game?” Lemon said.

“There isn't, this is an NPC just like the shopkeepers and Inn staff,” Turquoise said.

“I sense you are looking for something, might it be the Celestial Key of Ice?” The NPC asked.

“We are,” Turquoise replied.

“Then I’m afraid I can't give it to you because the Temple has been overrun by an evil presence and I can't fight it,” The NPC Said.

“Then we will fight it and get that key,” Haruka said.

“Thank you, brave travelers, best of luck, and be careful,” The NPC said Before vanishing. The girls entered the Temple and suddenly felt immense pressure after seeing a ton of black gunk everywhere.

“What the heck is this stuff?” Lemon asked.

“Liquid Darkness, it has a mind of its own, and even though I feel I don't need to say this but don’t touch it or it will damage you,” Turquoise explained.

“How do we get rid of it?” Haruka asked.

“Once the boss of this temple is defeated it will all go away but for now if you hit its weak points the areas connected will vanish,” Turquoise demonstrated as she stabbed a green eyeball that was attached to the Darkness thus clearing the way forward. As soon as they reached the next room A bunch of Ice creatures attacked them. After fighting off all the creatures the Girls arrive in the next room. Before continuing the girls took a break to replenish their health. After everyone was back to full health the Girls kept going and arrived at two doors, a red one and a white one. Between the doors was a sign with a clue of which way to go.

“Follow the path of the Kitsune Goddess and you will find your prize,” Lemon read. Haruka figured that the doors were referring to her element so they thought about what she looked like.

“I remember she was white-skinned and had white fur and hair,” Lemon said.

“That is not enough, it could be either element,” Haruka said until it suddenly hit her. “That's it, her kimono. It had snowflake patterns so the answer must be the door of ice. Haruka opened the door and found a path leading to a hallway. The girls entered and arrived in front of the boss's room. As soon as they entered the doors behind them closed and a black dragon covered in Liquid Darkness appeared and unleashed a loud roar.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, everyone was watching the boss fight on screen.

“Come on Turquoise I know you can do better than that,” Bullet shouted after seeing her get hit by a blast of darkness.

“Whoa easy Bullet I'm worried about our daughter as much as you are but you don't have to yell,” Ruby said.

“Sorry force of habit,” Bullet said.

“In any case, all we can do is hope for the best,” Haruka’s dad said. Everyone was on edge after seeing the girls and the dragon trade blows. Despite how close to defeat they were, the Girls unleashed their team attack and finished the dragon off.

After they beat the Dragon all the Liquid Darkness inside the temple vanished. Suddenly a light appeared and the lady from earlier appeared.

“Well done brave Travelers you saved my beloved Temple,” The woman said as she landed on the ground elegantly.

“Your Temple?” Lemon asked.

“I forgot to introduce myself earlier. I'm Sora, The Kitsune Goddess of this temple and the first queen of the Fennecs,” Sora said as she summoned a ball of light in her hand. “I believe this is what you came here for. The ball of light transformed into the Celestial Key of Ice. Turquoise grabbed the key and placed it in her inventory. Suddenly Sora approached Turquoise and looked intrigued by her. “I sense the royal bloodline in you Fennec Knight tell me what is your name?

“It’s Turquoise,” Turquoise replied.

“Well, Turquoise I can tell you have what it takes to be the next Queen of the Fennecs so please take this as well I believe it will help you on your quest,” Sora said as a little white Nine-Tailed Fox appeared. Sora Told Turquoise to put her hand on the fox’s head to bond with it. After a few seconds of bonding Turquoise now had a pet to aid her in combat. “Well done Turquoise now to complete the contract you must name your Spirit Pet. A screen appeared in front of Turquoise. Turquoise typed the name Brigid and after hitting the confirm button Sora spoke again. “I wish you and Bridig the best of luck in your quest Princess Turquoise of the Fennecs. Before they could go, Sora stopped them. “And one last thing, before you go I noticed you now have all four Celestial Keys for this realm.

“We do,” Turquoise said.

“Then you must head to the stairway to the next realm which is located between the capital and the beach. I will send you back to the Capital if you want,” Sora said. The girls accepted Sora’s offer and were encased in a sphere of light before vanishing. Minutes later they appeared in front of the Inn in Fenexia. The girls went into the Inn to rest up and change out of their winter wear. As soon as they settled in, Lemon asked Turquoise something.

“What was that thing with the fox?” Lemon asked.

“That is the pet system you see players have the option to assign creatures I call Spirit Pets to their side. These pets have unique abilities, some restore health during battle some have elemental or special attacks and many other abilities you will learn about later,” Turquoise replied.

“So what does Brigid do?” Haruka asked.

“She is an Ice Elemental so her abilities are offensive and defensive Ice Attacks and one last thing you may find useful, Spirit Pets also gain Experience and Levels and the higher the level the more powerful attacks they unlock,” Turquoise said. With the explanation of Spirit Pets finished, the Girls all turned in.

Meanwhile back in the real world Bullet was talking with Shining Armor about the new information regarding Vicky’s involvement in what trapped turquoise and her friends inside the game. What shining told Bullet was quite a shock to him.

“It can’t be him, Nathan told me his parents were dead and he had no other living relatives,” Bullet said.

“Well Vicky told us she was his sister and that they spoke a couple of days ago,” Shining said.

“I need to call him and get to the bottom of this,” Bullet said before calling him. Unfortunately, Bullet got his voice mail which meant Nathan either had his phone off or on silent.

Meanwhile in a resort in Osaka. Nathan noticed Bullet was trying to call him and ignored it before turning his phone off.

“Do you think your sister ratted us out?” Gary asked.

“There is no way that can be the case, the guards at the mansion are not equipped to handle interrogations,” Nathan said.

“Yes but the police are and they are not gentle especially with women,” Jackson said.

“Even if she did, what can they do about it? We are all the way in Japan, they can’t arrest us since they have no proof it was us," Nathan said.

“Especially since we destroyed the evidence,” Jackson said. The Nefarious Five were definitely going to enjoy the next few months of vacation time they had since legally they are entitled to using their vacation days whenever they wanted.

Meanwhile back in the states, Bullet kept trying but was not getting through.

“Ugh, where is he? The center of the earth?” Bullet said in frustration.

“Is there someone else you can try?” Shining asked. Bullet thought for a moment and decided to try calling his company’s HR guy. Luckily he did pick up.

“Hello?” The HR guy said.

“Yes Matt, this is Bullet calling, Is Nathan there?” Bullet asked.

“I’m afraid he is not,” Matt said.

“Where Is he then?” Bullet asked.

“He and the other four members of your board of directors decided to use some of their vacation days which they have a lot of,” Matt said.

“Did they at least tell you where they were going?” Bullet asked.

“No, they were quite vague on that,” Matt said. Bullet hung up in frustration.

“Anything? “Shining asked.

“Other than Nathan and the other four members of my board deciding to take their vacation now of all times, not much else.

“Damn it, He must have known his sister would squeal on him so he fled the country, “Shining said.

“Now hold on, how are we certain they did it?” Bullet asked.

We can’t be certain, For all we know Vicky could have been lying to us,” Shining said. Shining and his men decided that since Nathan was unreachable they were going to charge the whole crime on Vicky since no other suspects were around. The police left and Bullet returned to Turquoise’s room to tell them the news.

“So what did the police have to say?” Ruby asked.

“Well Vicky tried to throw Nathan under the bus but since he and my board of directors have decided to take some vacation time she alone will be charged for imprisoning our girls,” Bullet said.

Back in Fenexia, the girls woke up ready to continue their journey. After getting everything they needed the Girls went south and then turned right. After fighting the low-level monsters along the path they reached a white tower that went into the sky.

“ Since when was this here?” Lemon asked.

“It has always been here you see Lemon. Each floor has a tower just like this one that is placed under a four-prong seal that can only be broken once you gather all four Celestial Keys,” Turquoise explained.

“And the four locks on the tower?” Haruka asked.

“Remember when I said the main quest was to gather the gems that give the Sword of Naturia its power well those gems are locked inside the base of the towers,” Turquoise said while placing the four keys inside the locks and then turning them in a specific pattern. A secret compartment on the tower opened and inside was a sapphire with a symbol for water on it. Turquoise took it and slid it into the indent on the tower causing a door leading to a spiral staircase to open. After the door opened Turquoise put the Sapphire in her inventory and she and her friends climbed the stairs.

“ So love, how far did you program these stairs to go?” Haruka asked.

“Above the cloud layer is an invisible barrier that separates this floor and the next one and this tower goes through a hole in that barrier,” Turquoise replied.

“Why put a barrier when no one can fly?” Lemon asked.

“Because one of the nine races I programmed into the game is a species of bird-people with the power of flight and since I know someone is going to try to cheat their way through the game with that power I needed an iron-clad security measure thus the need for a barrier,” Turquoise replied. After what felt like hours of walking the girls reached the top of the tower. As soon as they opened the door they were greeted by the sight of an open field with a small town off on the horizon. “Ladies, welcome to Svartalfheim. Turquoise explained that Svartaifhiem was the realm of the Wolf People who were skilled craftsmen and blacksmiths. After hearing everything about Floor Two Lemon asked what was in the town up ahead. “That town is called Lycan and it's the starting point of the floor so far it only consists of an inn and a few shops and homes. After arriving in Lycan the girls went straight to the Inn the rest up for the night. This inn felt different then the one back on the first floor.
