"Accept your dark side. I did."

It starts with stories told around the campfire on Nightmare Night. The stories spread ideas which take root in the minds of the listeners. Before long, ideas will preoccupy thoughts and influence dreams. When dreams begin to twist into terrifying nightmares, Twilight Sparkle soon finds that some fears don't exist solely in the unconscious.

The first chapter of this story was written before season three was aired. As such, future chapters will continue along a story setting to exclude any canonical story elements beyond the second to last episode of season three.

Inspired by "Story of the Blanks" and the Blank Flank ending of "Super Filly Adventure".
