A Dash Of Obedience
The Decision
Previous ChapterNext ChapterWith a slight jolt, Rainbow Dash awoke. Releasing a quiet yawn, she raised a hoof to her eyes and rubbed them. The weathermare blinked a few times as she tried to gain her bearings. Raising her head, her attention turned to the alarm clock on her bedside table. It was half past nine in the morning.
Spotting Scootaloo snoozing next to her, the memories of the previous day’s escapades between them returned. The azure mare sat up and took the glass of water from her nightstand. Drinking it slowly, Rainbow glanced again towards the sleeping filly.
Suddenly, Scootaloo stirred. Then she opened one eye and the other followed instantaneously. The young filly raised her head, and, with a cheerful smile and friendly wave, gazed at Rainbow Dash.
“Good morning, Pet.”
Rainbow Dash put the glass back on her nightstand and stretched. She threw her hooves upwards and she yawned again, this time more audibly. Smiling happily, she greeted her Owner with a gleeful wave of her hoof.
“Morning, Mistress! Did you sleep well?
“Sure did! This bed is very comfy and cuddling with you was the cherry on top. I slept like a foal.”
Before Rainbow could reply, Scootaloo’s expression turned serious. Her tone was gentle, but firm.
“Well, Dashie, I promised that I’d bring up the topic again.”
Scootaloo held the bangle in her fetlock and raised it towards Rainbow Dash. The oblong object, bedecked with several rhinestones, glimmered in the morning’s illumination. The cerulean, diamond-shaped, artifact lodged inside the bangle, glistened and twinkled from the day’s sunbeams.
“This is the bangle that we’ve used during our extensive play times. Since you have no magic left to drain and all sensations have stopped, you have a choice to make.”
Scootaloo lovingly placed her orange hoof under Rainbow’s chin and dotingly cupped it. The filly stared down into the magenta irises of the older mare. With a soft, endearing, and gentle tone, Scootaloo spoke.
“You can either put this bangle on your hoof and reverse the drainings. You’d become the old Rainbow Dash that you used to be. You’d regain your mane colors, your speed and energy. Or, you could break it and keep the changes permanent. Resigning your future to serving me. Giving up your dreams and devoting your life to being my Pet.”
The orange filly gently placed the bangle into Rainbow’s hooves and smiled with an affable and endearing manner.
“What will it be, Rainbow Dash?”
The former speedster gave a nervous gulp. As she stared at the object, thoughts rapidly flashed in her mind.
I could become my old self again. Return to the Wonderbolts Academy in a few days with energy and vigor. Undo all the changes to my body and life that this bangle caused.
Scootaloo studied Rainbow’s laconic nature. She could infer that her lover was ruminative. Scootaloo knew the decision would cement Rainbow’s future.
“Remember how much you loved it, Dashie? Being at my mercy? Completely degraded and demeaned? Living life as a loyal pet? I think that’s the real you, Dashie. The way you wish you could live.”
Rainbow shuddered at the teasing remark. Her eyes glanced from the bangle to Scootaloo’s purple irises. The black-maned pegasus bit her bottom lip as she contemplated her choice.
“Of course, I wouldn’t be angry if you elected to return to your old life, Rainbow Dash. I know we’d still interact and see each other. You and I have a deep bond that transcends past this bangle and our playtime. Regardless of your choice, we’d remain in contact.”
Scootaloo affirmed her anecdote with a confident nod of her head. She flashed the mare a joyous grin.
“Scoots, and I’m abstaining from calling you Mistress this time, because I’m talking to you and not the ponysona that you represent.”
The vivacious pegasus nodded again and instructed Rainbow to continue.
“Firstly, thanks for keeping your word and offering me this choice. You could’ve refused my opportunity and selfishly decided my future. Yet, you’re allowing me to make the decision.”
In response, Scootaloo slowly slid an orange hoof down Rainbow’s cheek before kissing the former speedster on the forehead.
“I Pinkie Promised that I’d bring it up, Dashie. I may be a dominant Mistress, but even I wouldn’t break a Pinkie Promise.”
Rainbow chuckled. Breaking a Pinkie Promise had adverse effects. She had seen the repercussions of doing so first hoof.
“Squirt, a huge part of me wants to reverse the draining. I’d love to regain my former life and glory. To have the ability to fly again. Returning to my awesome self and spreading the name of Rainbow Dash all across Equestria. I’d absolutely love to do that.”
Scootaloo remained mute. This was Rainbow’s decision to make, and the filly didn’t want to offer any pushback, or unscrupulous and selfish decisions. The orange pegasus itched her snout as Rainbow continued.
“Playing with you was extremely hot, kid. You’re a fantastic dominant and excelled in your role. Despite only being a filly, you’ve got a penchant for BDSM. Truly, Scoots. You were exemplary. The degrading and disparaging comments were splendiferous. The humiliation you and your friends put me through was flawless. I enjoyed every second as your pet.”
The crusader blushed at the praise. A red tint adorned her face and she gave a small squeak of pleasure from the words. However, she quickly attempted to save face and brush it off. She coughed in her hoof and shrugged with nonchalance.
“It’s no biggie. Just what I do, Dashie.”
Rainbow playfully rolled her eyes at her fillyfriend’s attempt at a composed indifference. Though, the blush on Scootaloo’s face betrayed her dismissive words.
“I meant every word, Scoots. To have our relationship change from you idolizing me and seeing me as an older sister figure to you utterly dominating me with humiliating tasks, ruthless emotion, demanding commands, and lack of concern was so fucking enthralling. A total opposite viewpoint in our dichotomy. Having my number one fan turn me into their ponysonal pet, losing all respect, and treating me like an object was entirely titillating. Having my slow and gradual destruction be caused by my number one fan was a rush that I can’t describe.”
Dash leaned towards her fillyfriend and placed a soft smooch to the cheek of the orange pegasus.
“I’ve done this domination with other ponies, kid. But you’re in an entirely separate league. Despite being so young, you were easily the best dominatrix I’ve ever had.”
Scootaloo gave an ebullient grin at the compliments. She scratched her nose and replied.
“I’m so happy to know you had fun, Dashie. Being your Mistress has been wonderful. Despite the change in treatment and my behavior and words to you during our sessions, I still respect you. Just because I see you as a pet doesn’t mean you’re not the same awesome, badass, and stupendous pony that I’ve always lionized.”
RD dropped the bangle on the bed. Then, she reached a foreleg out and gave a few affectionate pats to Scootaloo’s mane. Afterwards, she held the bangle again and keenly stared at it.
“I can sense your trepidation, Dashie. You’re torn. On one hoof, you’d love to return to your old life. Regaining your glory. Being a heroine and inspiration to other ponies. Having the ability to fly and achieve your dream of becoming a member of the prestigious Wonderbolts. On the other hoof, the fun we shared was so enjoyable that you’re doubting if you want to return to your previous life. Being my pet felt amazing for you and you’re hesitant to throw that away.”
The azure mare locked eyes with the orange filly and gave a tacit nod. Her gaze returned to the bangle and Dash twirled the item between her hooves.
“Exactly. It’s a big decision. Both options have pros and cons and whichever one I do will dictate my future. I could either live as a Wonderbolt or a Pet.”
Rainbow inhaled deeply, then released the breath through her nasal cavity.
“You’ll still have my respect and admiration, Rainbow Dash. Whether you choose to reverse the draining or keep things as they are. This isn’t Mistress Scootaloo talking here. This is the Scootaloo who’s always revered you. Regardless of your decision, I promise to always look up to you, be inspired by you, and I will always love you.”
Blinking back tears from Scootaloo’s passionate response, Rainbow leaned forward and draped a foreleg around the filly’s neck. The two hugged silently for a moment before breaking apart.
The black-maned pegasus took another breath, then clutched the dog tag on her collar. The words were still inscribed.
Rainbow Dash. Pet. Property of Mistress Scootaloo.
She swallowed the lump in her throat and studied those words. Rainbow was quiet for several fleeting minutes before she looked at Scootaloo.
“If I elect to keep things how they are, it doesn’t just change my life. You’d have a huge responsibility. Also, my best friends would eventually discover the truth. Fluttershy already has, of course, but I know she’ll keep it secretive. My reputation would crumble and there’s no way to rectify that.”
Scootaloo listened to the spiel and didn’t interject.
“If I reverse the draining, I gain my old life back. Nopony would know the things we did. I’d continue being a cool, awesome, and radical pony and live life as a member of The Wonderbolts. I’d achieve my dream.”
Now Scootaloo intervened.
“Correct. It’s a big choice, Dashie. I want you to decide and won’t attempt to sway your mind. This is your decision. Both options have pros and cons.”
Rainbow twirled the dog tag while listening to Scootaloo’s response. When the filly was done speaking, Dash gave a small smile and told her lover that she appreciated Scootaloo was letting her decide.
“I’ve always wanted to be a Wonderbolt, kid. Ever since I was a little filly. Hell, I was younger than you when I first had that dream. To be so close and at the threshold of achieving it feels amazing. I could undo the draining, return to that academy, excel with the rest of the training and regimes, and absolutely be offered a spot on the team. No doubt.”
Dash glanced at the bangle then quickly looked back to Scootaloo.
“I can’t give up my dreams. Squirt, I’ve worked so hard to achieve my goal of being a Wonderbolt. To quit, when I’m at the precipice of accomplishing my desire, is purely asinine. I know I’d have a spectacular life as a member of that aerial flying squad. Happiness would fill me daily. I couldn’t throw all that away, kid.”
Scootaloo, despite wanting to remain neutral, felt a wave of disappointment. Dejected, a small frown formed on her muzzle and she quickly glanced away. The pegasus was looking at the Wonderbolt posters that littered Rainbow’s wall.
“I see. I understand, Dashie. It-”
Rainbow placed an azure hoof over Scootaloo’s muzzle and softly turned the filly’s head back towards her own.
“I couldn’t throw that away. Unless I had a doting and amazing Mistress who would support me, take care of me, and love me.”
Scootaloo’s eyes widened at the implication. She took a quick, gasped breath and continued to gawk at Rainbow.
“Can you do that? Will you be a loving and supporting owner?”
The filly snapped out of her shocked stupor. Acting quickly, she eagerly nodded and flashed the older mare a jovial and radiant beam.
“Absolutely! I’ll always love and support you, Dashie. I’ll take very good care of you. I promise that you’re in great hooves.”
Hearing that, Rainbow Dash tightly clutched the bangle in her fetlock. She stood off the bed and took a few steps away. Performing an about-face, she stared at Scootaloo and grinned.
“Hey, Scoots?”
“Yes, Dashie?’
Rainbow dropped the bangle. It landed with a small *clink* before becoming inert. With her eyes not leaving Scootaloo’s, the black-maned pony lifted a foreleg and hovered it over the bangle.
“I’m placing my life in your hooves. I choose to be your Pet over being a Wonderbolt. There won’t be any reverse draining of magic. I’m yours.”
The azure pegasus swiftly stomped on the bangle. The impetus caused it to crack in half. Shards of metallic debris and pieces of cerulean glasses littered the bedroom floor.
Rainbow stood erect and grinned at the flabbergasted expression of the orange pegasus. Dash flicked her dog tag and readjusted her collar before speaking to her Owner.
“Rainbow Dash. Pet. Property of Mistress Scootaloo.”
The mare cantered to the bed and flung herself on top of it. She outstretched her forelegs and enveloped her Mistress in a tight embrace. Gently, Dash placed a loving kiss on Scootaloo’s lips.
“And honored to be so.”
Scootaloo, breaking out of her shocked stupor, quickly kissed her marefriend back. Her lips passionately smooched against Rainbow’s. The two ponies brushed their lips gently, canoodling softly and fervidly. As Scootaloo kissed the older mare, she slid her hoof upwards before resting it on Rainbow’s cheek.
Both ponies closed their eyes as the embrace became more intense. Their muzzles smacked in passionate intimacy. The tenderness was palpable. Rainbow gently kissed her Mistress back, showcasing her interest. The orange-coated equine kissed her Pet once more before gently pulling away.
Before Scootaloo spoke, the filly excitedly flapped her wings. The pony was so overcome with surprise by Rainbow's decision, that she wasn’t cognizant of becoming aloft until Rainbow pointed it out.
“You’re flying! Squirt, you’re actually airborne!”
The orange pegasus’s eyes widened. Once she realized that she was indeed flying, the shock and astonishment caused her to tense up. In doing so, she inadvertently stopped flapping her wings. The filly fell from six inches and softly landed on the bed.
“How did I do that?”
“You absorbed all my magic which includes my pegasi magic that allowed me to be a fantastic flier. Mistress, try again. Focus on moving the muscles in your wings.”
Scootaloo did so. First, they twitched. Then, they fluttered. A moment later, she became aloft again and gave a jovial grin.
“I’m flying! I’m truly and actually flying!” Scootaloo shouted with elation.
Rainbow Dash grinned triumphantly at seeing her Owner achieve flight. Before the draining, the small, orange pegasus was never able to get herself off the ground. Now, after soaking up Rainbow’s magic, she could.
Scootaloo began rapidly flying around the bedroom. She cheered and squealed happily as she flew. An orange blur scurried to and fro while Rainbow observed.
After a few minutes, Scootaloo landed on the bed and beamed. She stared at her Pet and gave a mischievous smirk.
“This calls for celebration. Get ready, Pet. We’re going for a walk.”
“A walk?” Rainbow parroted.
“Yes. To cement our newly permanent status and make it official, I want to take you on a walk through Ponyville. Of course, you’ll be leashed and collared, Dashie.”
Rainbow blushed profusely at the notion. Now that she had broken the artifact and permanently altered her life, there was no need to keep anything private. Going on this walk would show the denizens of Ponyville what her new life was like.
“There’s something else, too, Dashie.”
Scootaloo flew next to Rainbow’s head and whispered her idea into the mare’s ear. Hearing it, Rainbow’s eyes widened.
“Are you serious?”
“Absolutely. Do you have one?”
Trembling, Rainbow stammered that she did and instructed Scootaloo on where she could find it.
“In the closet. On the top right shelf. Located under the spare blanket.”
Scootaloo grinned and went to fetch the item. A moment later, she emerged from the closet and clutched the object.
“Assume the position, Pet. Once this is properly inserted, we’re off.”
Rainbow obeyed her Mistress. Scootaloo fixed the item where she wanted it and smirked at her Pet.
“This is such a good look for you, Dashie. Wait right here while I fetch your leash.”
Again, Rainbow followed the command. The filly returned in ten seconds flat.
The leash was fastened to Rainbow’s collar. Scootaloo grinned as she gave it a teasing tug. The orange pegasus winked at her Pet. Then, she released her hold on the collar and both ponies walked to the door.
Both pegasi ambled through the doorway. Rainbow shut the door behind her and stared at Scootaloo.
“Here we go, Pet.”
Rainbow watched Scootaloo become aloft. Then, she felt two hooves underneath her midriff. After the filly secured the tight clutch, she carried Rainbow Dash off of the amalgamation of clouds and towards Ponyville.
