Beyblade Burst Equestria Girls

It was daytime aboard the Sky Cruiser and the Main 9 was on deck training. Right now it was Robin and Sunset who battled and Robin called out "Ultra Crash Course" and Drago went straight towards Phoenix who was in defense mode in the middle.

"Go for it, Flare Recoil" Sunset called and the Phoenix retracted its small blades and a wave of fire engulfed the stadium. Just then Drago flew out of the stadium and Twilight who was the ref said "Flare Phoenix with a Ring Out Finish, Sunset wins"

Robin got a little frustrated but then said "Nice one. You're really going all out" Sunset picked up her Bey and said "Thanks, but I'm still not strong enough to go against Valt as I am now"

With that Rainbow walked over and said "Then we'll just have to train until you are" Sunset smiled and said "Alright Dash, Let's see if you have what it takes to take down Phoenix" Then they both smiled and got ready.

Sunset thought back to the times her magic had come out in a battle. "The magic within me has somehow been awakened by the Beyblade. It started as just a feeling but now it's stronger and clearer" she thought, thinking back to the evening when they came back from battling Lui.

(Flashback)

"WHAT" everyone else shouted as Sunset had told them what happened during Sunset and Robin's match against Lui. "Are you saying your magic went off because of the Beyblade?" Twilight asked and Sunset replied "It seems so"

Everyone was shocked by the news and Applejack said "How can a Bey affect equestrian magic?" and Rainbow said "And why can only Sunset do this? Unfair" irritated.

With that Twilight said "Well, Sunset is from Equestria. So she's the one who has the most contact with magic" And then Rarity said "That seems to make sense, but how can it be summoned from a Beyblade?"

"I've been thinking about it, and I think it's about our bonds with our Beys" Sunset said and everyone got curious. "Every time I battle, and give everything I had, it always feels like an energy surged up and like Phoenix was standing next to me," she said.

"Same to me" Robin said and they looked at him. "When I feel my bond with Drago at it's strongest it feels like a power is awakened within me" he said and then the others said they felt something similar until Twilight said "But what could it be?"

(End of Flashback)

"If I'm going to have any chance against Valt, I have to pull it out more than ever" thought Sunset. Twilight was just about to watch the match but just then a voice said "Looks like the training is going well"

They all turned and saw that it was de Wakiya. "Wakiya?" Sunset said in surprise. "What are you doing here?" Rainbow asked and Wakiya replied "I have a couple of friends who would like to talk to you all, Come along" waving for them to come along.

"What is it about?" Twilight asked but Wakiya just said "It's about someone you may already know of" They were all confused by what Wakiya said but decided to go along.

All ten of them went through the streets of EL Astro. And one thing they noticed was you more they walked the more people looked. "Am I the only one who noticed?" Rarity asked then Twilight said "Yeah why is everyone looking at us?"

"It's only natural" Wakiya said and they all looked at him in confusion. "You participated in The Sword Flame Cup and have been participants in The Sky Cruiser Tag Tournament that was broadcast in not just one, but two worlds. So naturally you have drawn some attention to yourself" he said.

"Hehe, I can get used to this" Rainbow said cockily but Fluttershy was nervous. "I-I don't like this much attention" Fluttershy said nervously, shaking.

"Don't worry too much" said a voice behind her and another said "deep breaths, calm thoughts, It'll be fine" Fluttershy took a deep breath and said "Thanks, I needed that" But just then most of them recognized the voices and turned around and saw a certain man with puppets on his hands.

When they saw who they were, everyone except Wakiya and Robin said "Ken" in surprise and Ken said "Hey there" and smiled. "What are you doing here?" Fluttershy asked and Keru said "When I saw you guys were going to face Valt in a battle we needed to see it first hand" and then Besu said "Seeing friends battle up close is always exciting"

With that Amelia turned and said to Robin "Robin, you haven't met him yet. This is Ken Midori" With that Robin walked over and said "I'm Robin King, Amelia's younger brother. Nice to meet you" and then said Ken "It's nice to meet you"

With that Ken looked at Wakiya who said "It's been a while, Midori" With that Keru said "And it's nice to see you with Wakiya" With that Ken walked up to Wakiya and Rainbow asked "Wait, You know each other?" confused.

With that Wakiya said "That's right, We've been friends for quite a while now" With that Besu said "Yeah, and we've been in the same Bey club" After that Pinkie asked "Which others were in the club?"

Wakiya thought and said "Well, it was the two of us, Rantaro, Daigo, Shu and..." Before they finished the sentence, they heard someone shouting "Ken, Wakiya" happily. When they looked over they saw someone who they Main 9 did not expect.

"Valt Aoi" they shouted in surprise and then they saw that Rantaro was standing next to him. "And Rantaro too?" said Twilight but then Ken rushed over and said "Valt, Honcho"

"It's awesome to see you Ken" Valt said with a big smile and Rantaro "Talk about a good surprise Mittens" and with that it did a fist bump with Keru and Besu on it.

"If I hadn't made it clear Valt, I would bring them to you" Wakiya said, slightly irritated and walked towards them. "Seriously Goldilocks, You need to learn to chill" Rantaro said, slapping Wakiya on the back.

"I happen to be very CHILL, Thank you so much" Wakiya yelled angrily and Valt and Ken laughed. "Besides, we were supposed to meet up with some other friends so our meeting was a coincidence" Rantaro said and then Wakiya asked "And who would that be?"

With that a voice was heard saying "Looks like nothing has changed" As they turned they saw two people they recognized well. Valt's face lit up and he said "Daigo, Shu" happily.

"Nice to see you both" Rantaro said and the two walked to the four. While that was happening the main 9 were surprised by this and Sunset asked "Why is Shu here?" and then Rarity asked "The same applies to Daigo Kurogami" in confusion.

They looked at all of them and saw Wakiya and Rantaro arguing, Daigo and Ken laughing, and Valt and Shu talking. With that Robin laughed a little and then Amelia asked "What's so funny?" Robin looked at the 6 and said "It's just funny that they are such legends, but can laugh and argue just like regular friends like us"

They all looked at Valt and his friends and felt that they were close to each other, just like themselves. Sunset laughed a little and said "I guess we all start from the same point. But it's nice to see they're still so close" With that the 9 moved closer to them.

After a while they were at BC Sol. The main 9 were fascinated by the place and soon they entered an empty room. Once in there, Wakiya said "Okay, we're finally here" and the legends lined up against the main 9.

"Well, can you explain what you wanted to talk about" asked Sunset and then Wakiya said "That's right, I wanted to talk to you about something you know quite well" and then Robin asked "And what is that?" Wakiya looked at them and said "Magic" seriously.

The main 9 gasped and Wakiya continued "For quite some time I have been investigating the unusual events that have been happening at Canterlot High School, you know, the same school you seven attend" and with that he pulled down a screen and flashed several reports.

"And one of the common points in all these events is you seven, and the presence of Magic" said Wakiya and then Shu said "And we have come to the conclusion that magic has some kind of connection to Beyblade. So we would like you explained where this magic comes from"

Sunset was a bit worried about that and asked "Why do you want to know what magic comes from" With that Shu replied "Because it seems magic has a link to Resonance"

Hearing that they were all confused and Rainbow asked "Umm, what do you mean by that?" With that, Shu explained "Resonance is the bond between you and your Beys. By resonating with one's Bey, one can draw out its maximum power"

All 9 of them were amazed by that but then Sunset asked "But, How did you even find out about the magic?" With that, Daigo took a step forward and said "It was probably because of me" and everyone looked at him in confusion.

With that turned to Sunset and said "Remember? What I said before our match in Transylvania" and then Sunset thought of that moment. With that she shook and said "You knew I had a dark past even then" and the others gasped.

"It was just something I felt. I didn't know what it was about, just that it was very dark to you" Daigo said and then Wakiya said "When Daigo told me that I felt it best to investigate so we wouldn't have new a threat to the Beyblade world"

Hearing that, Twilight asked "Wait, New threat?" and then Wakiya said "Yes, There are those out there who want to change the Beyblade world the way they want" With that he looked at the King's siblings and said "You two should remember Inferno, right?"

They both thought for a while and then Robin said "Oh, Now I remember. It was that man Arthur Peregrine who tried to take over the whole Beyblade world as some kind of evil king" and then Amelia said "But then they were stopped by Dante Koryu and The Victories, Right?"

With that Rainbow asked "Wait here now, Who is Dante Koryu?" and then Robin said "He's a Bladeing legend and really strong" With that Wakiya said "Anyway, In order not to have another experience like that I researched what Daigo had told me. But seeing all this magic stuff I thought I that it was a scam"

"Well, what made you change your mind about that?" Applejack asked and Wakiya replied "That was the battle I had against Sunset aboard the Sky Cruiser" and the 9 were confused.

"During that battle, I felt the magic well up. It was warm and I felt it was meant for good" said Wakiya and then Shu said "After that I looked into it more and realized that the magic had a connection to Resonance in the form of something we call 'Magical Resonance"

"So the reason we want to know more about magic is so we can learn more about this Magical Resonance and our Beys" Wakiya said. Sunset thought about it for a moment and turned to the others asking "What do you think?"

They gave each other looks and with that Twilight said "I don't think they would trick us. But you should make the final decision" and the others agreed. With that Sunset took a deep breath and said "Alright, I'll tell you where the magic comes from. But promise not to spread this information" The Legend nodded and Sunset began to explain.

They were all tired and sat on a couple of benches. Explaining everything they had been through had apparently been more than they thought about. "That was a lot of information we gave them" Twilight said and Rarity said "Truthfully, They didn't seem ready for it"

The reaction of the Legends when Sunset told them where she came from was mixed. With most of them being shocked or surprised while Valt was excited and Rantaro's was one of a little fear. Rainbow giggled as she thought about how Rantaro apparently had a fear of unicorns.

"Rainbow, You shouldn't laugh at someone's fears" Fluttershy said and Rainbow said "Yes yes" in response. Sunset was some distance away looking over a grassy field wondering if they made the right choice.

"Don't worry" said a voice behind her and when she turned she saw Shu. "Oh Shu" she said and Shu went to stand beside her. "We'll keep this between us, and won't tell anyone your secret unless you're ready"

Sunset smiled and said "Thanks Shu" With that they looked out over the grassy field and a short distance away Robin also stood alone looking at his Bey with his back against the wall and deep in thought.

(Flashback)

After Sunset explained everything about where she was from and they were allowed to leave, Wakiya wanted to talk to Robin alone. When everyone was out Wakiya asked "Yesterday you had a battle with Free De La Hoya didn't you" and Robin said "Yes I did"

With that, Wakiya said "After the final, Free called me and told me something very interesting. During your battle, you evoked an energy from within you" Robin was surprised by that and Wakiya continued "And apparently he thought it felt like the magic that came from sunset"

Robin gasped and Wakiya continued "And since your friends who have had a connection with magic in the past have not been affected by the same phenomenon, it has become confusing. But since you have been Sunset's partner during the tournament, I think I have a hypothesis"

Robin was most confused and asked "What? I've been close to Sunset's magic waves so it's rubbed off on me?" With that, Wakiya said "Almost, but instead of it affecting you, I think it has awakened the Magical Resonance that was already within you"

(End of Flashback)

"So I have the same Magical Resonance as Sunset. And not just me, if I can use it maybe others can use it too" Robin thought then said "If possible, I will draw that power to its fullest"

Sunset and Shu were still looking out and had been talking more and then Shu said "So you think Robin has the same type of Resonance as you" and Sunset replied "Yeah I felt it during his match with Free"

Shu thought and said "If one person from our world can use this Magical Resonance then maybe everyone can" But then Sunset thought of Equestria and thought "But if more people can use magic, what will happen to Equestria"

Shu saw that Sunset was in thought and said "Sunset" and she looked at him. "I understand you're worried. But we'll help you with all of this. Me, Valt, Rantaro and all your friends too" Sunset smiled and said "Thanks Shu"

With her heart at ease, Sunset said "If you'll excuse me, I have a match to get ready for" and with that she dashed off to the others. Shu smiled and when Sunset came to the others she said "Alright everyone, Who's ready for a battle?"

Everyone looked at her and Twilight asked "What's this coming from?" Sunset just smiled and said "I just needed to take in everything that had happened. But I also have to get ready for the match today"

With that Robin came over and said "I agree. Besides if magic is in our Beys we should try to get it out" The others started to get a little more excited and Rainbow said "Alright, It's my turn now" With that went to the nearest stadium and when they were there they started training again with smiles.

But at the same time Valt was training with Free in BC Sol's training hall saying "This is going to be awesome" Free thought back to his battle against Sunset and asked "Hey Valt. Do you think this Magical Resonance is something you can induce?"

Valt thought about it but then said "Actually I haven't thought of that" and Free said "Typical Valt" a bit ironically. With that he said "Anyway. Which of Sunset and Robin do you think is stronger?" With that, Valt began to think.

"Hard to say. Sunset always keeps her cool and doesn't let herself get distracted. At the same time, Robin comes into battle with everything he has and a strong focus on everything going on" Valt said and then got more excited and said "Oh man , I can't wait to battle them both"

"Calm down, Hothead" a voice said and Rantaro came towards the two of them. "Don't forget that if you lose to Sunset, you won't get to face Robin. Because he's going to face the champion and if you lose, you won't be anyone anymore" he said but Valt smiled and said "I'll be fine"

With that he turned to Free and said "Come on Free, Time to battle" With that Free got ready and Rantaro went and took his place as Ref. "Alright you both, Ready, Set" and with that he raised his fan and they both shouted "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!"

It was now time and everyone was in the EL Astro Stadium which was similar to a coliseum. The inside of the arena had several lines of people excited about this. Everyone except Sunset and Robin sat together for the event along with Bell and Ranzo.

The Dazzlings sat a couple of seats to the side while Wakiya, Rantaro, Daigo, Ken and Shu sat in a separate room. With that the announcer stood in the middle of the arena and said "Alright all you Bey fans. Hope you're all ready for this exciting event, because the title match is about to start, This is going to be a crazy good time"

Several people were shown watching the match which included everyone from CHS, Crystal Prep, Aiger, Xander, Lui on TV and Free in the stadium as well. "6 powerful tag teams boarded the Sky Cruiser, But now let me introduce the team that overcame all opponents and obstacles in the way and has earned the right to challenge Valt Aoi" said the announcer.

"She has burned brighter ever since winning The Sword Flame Cup, And she has risen from the ashes just like the legendary Phoenix. Give it up to The Scarlet Flame, Sunset Shimmer" Said the announcer and the light shone on her and she held up her Bey. "You can do it Sunset" Twilight shouted and Rainbow shouted "Show them who's boss"

"And that's not all, Her Teammate is no pushover either. He is the Runner up in The Sword Flame Cup and he is the one who always gives it 1000% in battle. This is the Crimson Dragon, Robin Kings" said the announcer and the light beamed at Robin and he also held out his Bey. "You rock bro" Amelia called out.

"Now the moment we've all been waiting for, Time to bring the main star to the stage. He has been referred to as the Wonder Boy that always battles with a smile on his face. Make some noise for the World Champion and The Legend of Legends, Valt Aoi " said the announcer and several lights shone on Valt who smiled.

Almost everyone in the arena cheered for Valt and when Valt held out his Bey the announcer said "And you can't have Valt without his Bey, It's the unstoppable Ultimate Valtryek" with that Valt said "Alright everyone, ready for an excited Battle" and they cheered on.

With that, Robin started to walk off the stage and told Sunset "Go all out. I'm waiting for you to win" Sunset smiled and said "Yeah, count on it" With that the announcer said "Ready or not, It's time for the first match. And the challenger is, Sunset Shimmer"

"Finally, It's time" Sunset said and Valt said "I've been waiting for this, Let's have some fun" and smiled. With that Robin came to the others and Amelia said "Robin, here" and Robin walked over to look at Sunset. "Come on Sunset, I'll wait for you in the next match" he thought.

With that the ref walked up to the studio and said "The winner of this title match is the first to 3 points, First Battle" With that Sunset put Phoenix on the defensive and said "I promised Robin that I will win, So come at me with all you got"

"Defense Mode huh. Cool, I didn't plan anything else, Let's go partener" Valt said and both were ready. With that the ref said "Ready, Set" and raised his arm.

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Phoenix went towards the middle as Valtryek circled quickly. "Yes, those are what I call powerful launches. They go fast and Phoenix takes the center arena" said the announcer and Phoenix stood in the center.

"Flare Guard" Sunset shouted and Phoenix created its fire around it. "Now Valtryek, Rush Launch" Valt called and Valtryek attacked again and again at high speed. "Valtryek refuses to go soft and unleashes a barrage of impressive strikes"

"Keep it up Valtryek" Valt shouted and Rainbow who was watching said "Wow, Valt really is strong" and Applejack said "Guess he got the title for a reason"

It continued for a while and Phoenix managed to withstand Valtryek's attackers. "Wow, That's incredible" Besu said and Keru said "Talk about battle" With that Shu said "Good, you've grown. Good job Sunset"

With that Valt smiled and said "I'm getting all kinds of excited" and with that Valt shouted "Go Valtryek" and with that he resonated with his Bey so the Valtryek avatar came out. With that, Valtryek charged towards the Phoenix and went right past it and right into the wall.

With that it created a lot of energy and Valt shouted "Now, Ultimate Wing V" and punched straight forward. With that, Valtryek went right at Phoenix and landed the attacks and the announcer said "Oh my, Valtryek just delivered a devastating attack. Can Phoenix even hold up"

With that, Sunset got more serious and started roaring. With that she let out a scarlet light and shouted "Flare Recoil" and Phoenix let out a wave of fire and they were both knocked away from the center.

Valt gasped and the announcer said "and Phoenix was saved by a well timed counter attack" With that they circled and Sunset gave off more of her Magical Resonance and her ears, ponytail and horns were formed.

With that, Sunset shouted "Go Phoenix" and she resonated so Phoenix's avatar came out. With that they went at each other and Sunset shouted "Flare Whip" and Valt shouted "Ultimate Whip V" and they collided with a lot of sparks.

It continued to collide and both Sunset and Valt roared. After a while they both flew towards the edge with Valtryek going over the wall and landing on the ground while Phoenix bounced off the wall and back into the stadium and the entire arena fell silent.

"Flare Phoenix with a Ring Out Finish, First point goes to Sunset" said the ref and the crowd cheered. "Wow, did you guys see that? Sunset Shimmer managed to take the first point over Valt" the announcer said and all her friends cheered.

"SHE DID IT" Pinkie shouted and Rarity said "It was wonderful, indeed" With that Robin said "Nice one, Keep it up Sunset" Valt was in awe of the magic and said "So this is where Wakiya felt"

But with that, Valt began to feel the magic coming from Sunset and he looked in surprise how strong it was. With that the Valtryek began to glow and Valt looked at it. With that he smiled and said "Yes, Time to show them our power Valtryek"
