It was a dark place and Flare Phoenix spanned straight ahead and into a stadium with Evil Ruler. "Go for it Phoenix" Sunset shouted and Phoenix went against Ruler and Sunset's magic kicked in. They collided and Sunset shouted "Give it your all"

At that moment Ruler burst and the parts disappeared. "Alright. This one is ours" Sunset called but just then something happened. A purple fire started to burn and from it came a new bey completely surrounded by fire so you couldn't get a clear picture.

"What?" Sunset said in surprise and the new bey came at Phoenix and attacked again and again. Sunset felt all the fire and she began to hear an evil laugh but didn't know where it was coming from.

but at that moment the Phoenix burst and the parts disappeared in a white light and Sunset started to scream. Just then Sunset opened her eyes and realized she was dreaming. She looked around hysterically and saw that they were still on the plane and it was the middle of the night.

Everyone seemed to be asleep until she heard a voice call her name. She turned to see Amelia still awake and Sunset asked "Why are you up?"

"I just wanted to thank you for coming along" Amelia said with a smile. "Robin really wanted to get payback on Sombra, but I wasn't sure if he could handle it all by himself so I came along. But now that you're all here, I feel a lot calmer" she explained.

Sunset smiled and said "I was really worried Robin would be mad if I said I was going to challenge Sombra. But knowing he was as worried about telling the truth as I am makes everything seem more ridiculous" and the two girls shared a little laugh.

"We should be there soon. Let's get some more rest until then" Sunset said and Amelia nodded and went back to bed. Sunset on the other side was still in mind. "What was that, And why was that laugh so uncomfortably familiar" she thought before she managed to fall back to her feet.

It was a training room with a bey stadium and in front of it stood a large stone wall with a metal door and carvings of 9 snakes with their heads pointing towards the stadium. In front of the stadium Sombra stood and he shouted "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!"

With that, a bey came from each snake's head and they all spun to the right heading towards Ruler. When they collided, all 9 of them burst so Ruler was the only one left. Just then Ashtem entered the room and said "Good. Your results are increasing by the day"

Sombra turned and Ashtem said "They will be arriving soon. You better be ready" Ashtem turned but then Sombra said "I still don't understand why they were invited" With that Ashtem said "You're displeased?"

"They are simply weak. Do you really think they will become part of us" Sombra said and then Ashtem turned around. "You have much to learn. I know that only those who have no compassion and are driven by power can become a part of us. Those two have none of those"

"So why? Why have them here?" Sombra asked and Ashtem just smiled and said "Easy. There is one thing one of them can give us. The others will just be pawns to get it" With that Ashtem left. But what he didn't show was that someone was already there watching. "Oh, How interesting" said the one hiding but when Sombra looked that way no one was there.

After they had landed they main 9 went out into the wasteland where they were. After walking for a while, it came to a huge crater with a building that was shaped like a coiled snake. Looking to the side, Robin saw a snake's head that appeared to be the entrance.

As they rushed to it Rainbow asked "Okay, How do we get in?" After no one answered she yelled "You don't know" With that Robin opened the door and said "Hey, Ashtem. We're here, Open the door"

"Seriously. Do you really think it will work" Rainbow said doubtfully. At the same time, someone was watching them through a camera and then they pressed some buttons and the door started to open. They were all stunned and Robin turned and said "What did you say Dash?"

Rainbow didn't answer and they all went inside. When the door closed, the rooms they were in moved and it turned out to be an elevator. When it came down, they entered a cave-like tunnel. "This is scary" Fluttershy said, shaking along the back.

At that moment, several screens were put on the world. Shu saw it and when Ashtem came on the screen he got angry. "Alright everyone. It's finally time to show you the power as the Snake Dungeon. Let's see who will challenge our power first" Ashtem said and the screen flashed Sunset, Robin and the others.

"No" Shu said as he realized they were in Ashtem's grasp. At the same time in the Snake Dungeon, a screen was put on and Sombra knew. "Sombra" Robin said angrily and Sombra said "Well Well. I'm surprised to see you again. Fake champ" teasingly and Robin got angrier.

"Since you're here, I assume you've decided to throw away your childish beliefs and become truly strong" Sombra said. Robin just wanted to scream but Sunset put a hand on his shoulder and said "That will never happen. We came here to defeat you"

Robin looked at Sunset and smiled. "Yes. This time things will end differently" Sombra just smiled wryly and said "Oh well it was just a suggestion. But now you must suffer. If you wish to challenge me you must make your way to the center of this facility"

"But I highly doubt that will happen. You're just a bunch of little kids. But you can always dream, right" Sombra said laughing. "Oh, that Sombra is only getting ruder by the second" Rarity said and then Sunset turned around. "Come on everyone. Let's go" she said and they were all ready.

They all moved forward but then they were stopped by an invisible wall. "What the" Sunset snapped and they all seemed to be trapped. But just then the floor opened up and Pinkie disappeared down. "Pinkie" Applejack called but then she disappeared down as well.

"We are getting separated" Twilight called and then she disappeared down as well. "Keep calm. Try to get to the center as soon as you can and we'll meet up there" Amelia said and then she disappeared followed by Rainbow, Fluttershy, Rarity, Robin and finally Sunset.

Shu who was watching was worried but then the screen split into three parts showing different groups and Ashtem's voice was heard saying "Only those who can fight can advance. The others will be abandoned" Shu was more angry than before and just whispered "Sunset. Everyone. Be careful"

When they landed, Rainbow, Applejack and Fluttershy were alone in a dark tunnel. Applejack turned to Fluttershy and asked "Are you okay Shy?" Fluttershy looked up and said "Yeah I think so" They looked around and Fluttershy asked "What do we do now?"

"What Amelia said. We'll get to the center and we'll meet up with the other" Rainbow said. "That's probably the best we can do for now" Applejack said and they all started moving. After walking for a while they entered a dark room.

Just then, the lights came on, revealing a bey stadium in the middle of the room. "A stadium?" Rainbow said frantically and then a voice came through the speakers.

"Welcome to the Shadow challenge. To move on you need to defeat all three of these bladers" said the voice and they all startled a bit. "Seems like we're being watched" Applejack said and Rainbow said "It doesn't matter. Where are they, We send them flying"

"Well, here are your opponents" said the voice and a door opened and three people came out of the door. From what it looked like, two of them were male and one female and they were all wearing mostly black clothes and different shaped masks. What set it off was the shape of the masks, the color of the eyepieces and the color of the lines on their clothes.

Rainbow looked at them and said "Phew, sure. What's so special about these clowns" sarcastically. "Now, let's introduce your opponents" said the voice and the three brought out their Beys and the three girls were shocked.

"This is Rose Eye and her Bey, Shadow Jackalope" the Voice said and Fluttershy said "It's not true, right?" in shock. "Emerald Eye and his Bey, Shadow Bull" the voice continued and Applejack said "Okay, That's just rubbish" angrily. "Gray Eye and his Bey, Shadow Pegasus" the voice finally said and Rainbow was really angry.

"What is this? How dare you copy us you hyenas" she shouted angrily but the voice just kept talking. "These are the rules. You will only face your replica bey. Matches are first to two points. If the three of you defeat your replica only once, you move on. Each time one of you loses, you get a strike. Three strikes and you are everyone out" said the voice and Rainbow shouted "Okay. We're in"

Just then the voice said "Okay get ready for battle" Rainbow looked at the others and said "I'll go first" But just then Applejack grabbed Rainbow's arm and said "Calm down Dash. You need a plan"

"What good would that be? I just need to defeat a copy. I can do that without looking" Rainbow said confidently. Just then Rainbow walked out of the stadium and Fluttershy weakly said "Good luck" Rainbow smiled and said "Thanks but I got this"

Just then, several screens went on around the world and they showed Rainbow and the others in that room. "It's time for the Shadow challenge. If they defeat their identical shadows, they win. If they lose to them, they're gone" said the voice on the screen and everyone looked at it.

"Are you kidding me" Wakiya yelled in his office angrily and continued with "He's doing the whole shadow blader thing again" At the same time Rainbow said "Get ready mask guy. I'll send you and your knock off to next year" confidently.

"Urgh, why do you have to be so loud?" Gray Eye said in a monotone voice. "What" Rainbow said irritated and Gray Eye then said "This is just a waste of time. Let's just do this" and took out his launcher.

"The match between Shadow Pegasus and Rainbow Pegasus will now commence" said the voice and they both took the same stance. "Hey, Are you copying my launch form too? Can't you be original" Rainbow shouted angrily.

"I'm a shadow blader. It's just what I do. So stop talking" Gray Eye said and Rainbow only got angrier. "The first to two points wins the match" said the voice and when both were ready the voice said "Ready, set"

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and they did the same launch. "Get them, Rainbow Launch" Rainbow called and then Gray Eye called "Shadow Launch" and they did the same attack.

"Grr, Stop your copy cat" Rainbow shouted angrily but then Rainbow's Pegasus went up the slope and then it appeared against its shadow copy. "Rainbow Strike" Rainbow shouted but then Shadow Pegasus went against the rim and accelerated and got away.

"What" Rainbow said and her Pegasus crashed into the wall and lost its balance. Shadow Pegasus continued to accelerate until Gray Eye said "Just finish this. Shadow Flash" and Shadow Pegasus landed the attack causing Rainbow Pegasus to burst and Rainbow was shocked.

"Two points with a Burst Finish. Gray Eye wins by a score of two to nothing" said the voice and Rainbow fell to her knees. "No, How can I just lose. It's just not possible" she said speechless but then she heard Gray Eye's voice saying "You're weak. That's just it"

Rainbow was broken and took the parts of her bey and went to the side. "Rainbow, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked but Rainbow didn't answer. With that Applejack turned to face the stadium and said "Alright. It's time to show these frauds what we can really do"

On another road, Amelia, Rarity and Pinkie Pie were and they walked for a while. "How much longer do we have to go like this?" Rarity complained and Amelia said "Come on Rare. We have to keep going. What if the others are in danger" worried. With that Pinkie jumped forward and said "Don't worry you little head. The others are safe"

"And how do you know that?" Amelia asked and Pinkie said "You know how incredible they are. They can handle themselves" and gave a big smile. Amelia turned and said "Maybe. But we can't just wait. Maybe the others are waiting for us in the center. Come on"

They continued walking until they came to the same metal door and stone wall Sombra trained at before. above the door there was a huge meter that read 999. "Ohh. What is this?" Pinkie asked and then a voice came from the speakers.

"Welcome to the endurance challenge. Get all the way to zero and move on. But be prepared, No wins count after a single loss. Take your stands" said the voice and Rarity asked "What do you think that means?"

"Don't know" Amelia said and then she looked forward and saw three circles in front of the stadium "Guess that's where we're supposed to stand" Amelia said and they all walked up to each of their circles. "What will happen?" Pinkie asked and Amelia replied "Don't know, Be prepared"

The other two nodded and as they settled on the circles they glowed green and each snake head sent out a Bey. "What the, Where did they come from?" Rarity asked. "Don't know. but I think I know what to do now. Launch your beys and take them down" Amelia said and they all got ready.

"Let it, Rip!" All three of them shouted and their Beys entered the stadium. "This is it. Gem Horn" Rarity shouted and the Unicorn attacked two beys so they bursted. "Party Dash" Pinkie shouted and Joker also hit the Beys so they burst too. "Blow them all away. Feather Storm" Amelia yelled and Griffin hit the rest so they all flew up into the air colliding with each other and the stadium so they burst.

As the three caught their beys the meter went down to 900. "Look, It went down" Pinkie said happily and Rarity said "I see. We have to defeat all 900 Beys to move on" Amelia smiled and said "Then we will " Just then 9 new beys arrived and they all shouted again "Let it, Rip!"

Applejack walked over to the stadium and then Emerald Eye came up and said "I can't believe I have to take care of a peasant. So dirty" Applejack got a little irritated and said "You should be more worried about being defeated instead of get dirty"

"Urg. I could never handle something like that. Shadow Bull is too wonderful to mess with" said Emerald Eye and then the voice said "Next match. Shadow Bull vs Farm Bull will now commence" With that they both got ready and the voice said "Ready, set"

3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Shadow Bull headed towards the center. "Hohoho. Seems like you don't know how a pure defense type should battle" Emerald Eye laughed and then Farm Bull went against its copy.

"Do it, Bull Whip" Applejack shouted as Emerald Eye said "Stop them. Shadow Block" and a black rope formed around Shadow Bull blocking the attacks. They ran like that until the Farm Bull went against the wall.

"Do it, Bull Counter" Applejack yelled and her bey collided with her blade into the wall and went right at the Shadow Bull, attacking it so hard it burst. Emerald Eye gasped and the voice said "Applejack's Farm Bull wins with a Burst Finish"

Emerald Eye was in shock and said "It doesn't work. Why did such a rude strategy win" Applejack smiled and said "You were just too careful and didn't take any chances. If you don't dare to get your hands dirty and work hard, you can never get better"

Emerald Eye was just confused and said "That can't be right. I can't..." Just then the floor where he was standing opened up and he fell down. Applejack was surprised but then went to Rainbow and said "Did you see Dash? we're back in the game"

"Yeah, okay" Rainbow said, still down. "Are you guys ready yet" said a new voice and when they turned they saw Rose Eye ready at the stadium. "Come on now. It's our turn now" she said, pointing at Fluttershy. "Oh, okay" Shy said walking towards the stadium.

"Are you okay Shy?" Applejack asked and Fluttershy said "I'll be fine I think. Take care of Dashie, okay?" Applejack gave a reassuring smile and said "Count on me" Fluttershy walked up to the stadium and Rose Eye said "This is going to be fun" and she just laughed a little crazy.

Applejack looked at her and said "Just great. Another weirdo in a mask" to herself. "Third match. Shadow Jackalope vs Flutter Jackalope will now commence" said the voice again and then both got ready. "Hope you're ready. I'm going to crush you so you look as pathetic as your friend there" Rose Eye said but then Fluttershy became more serious and the voice said "Ready, set"

3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Flutter Jackalope took center quickly and its copy attacked. "So yeah. Shadow Break” Rose Eye shouted but the attacks did next to nothing. "How dare you" Fluttershy said weakly. "Huh, What did you say? You're winking too much" Rose Eye said laughing but then Fluttershy raised her eyes and glared intensely at Rose Eye with her infamous "Stare"

Rose Eye quickly freaked out and Fluttershy said "You'll regret it. No one calls my friends pathetic. NO ONE" with that Flutter Jackalope went up the slope and then it disappeared.

"NOW, Flutter Break" Fluttershy called and the attacks landed causing Shadow Jackalope to burst and Rose Eye to fall to her knees in fear. "Fluttershy's Flutter Jackalope wins with a Burst Finish" said the voice and then Fluttershy walked over to Rose Eye.

"Now. What are you going to say" she said and Rose Eye said "I'm sorry for everything I said" With that Fluttershy gave a warm smile and said "You're forgiven. Now don't say things like that again" Rose Eye looked up at her but just then she fell through the floor too. Fluttershy looked worried but then Gray Eye walked over and said "Okay. I guess I have to end this now"

Amelia's group was still fighting with all the beys and they were down to 504. Their Beys were in the stadium but then 3 of the other Beys came at the Unicorn and they collided with it so the Unicorn burst. Rarity gasped and Amelia shouted "Hurry up, Griffin" and Griffin bursted the three of them.

"Sorry girls. I must have used a little too much energy. But I can continue" Rarity said. But just then the circle Rarity stood on changed color from green to red. "What does this mean?" Pinkie asked and then Amelia thought of something.

"The voice said 'No wins count after a single loss' That probably means Rarity is out" Amelia said and Rarity gasped. "Oh no, I'm so sorry. I let you down" Rarity said but Amelia smiled and said "It's fine. But we can't risk another mistake"

Just then 9 new Beys arrived and Amelia said "Come on Pinkie" Pinkie smiled and said "Yeah, We can do this" and they both yelled "Let it, Rip!" and continued the fight.

Amelia and Pinkie kept going for a while and were really close. But just then Party Joker went against two beys and took them out but at the same time all three burst. When Pinkie's circle turned red Pinkie said "Bummer. I'm out" Amelia looked at Pinkie and said "Don't worry Pinks. I'll end this"

"But dear. You're exhausted. You can't go on like this all by yourself" Rarity said. Amelia was exhausted and looked at the meter which was at 90. "I can do this. Only 90 to go" Amelia said and when 9 new Beys arrived she yelled "Let it, Rip!" and thought "Robin. I'll come to the center. You better do the same"

Fluttershy went to her friends and Applejack said "Come on Dash. It's your turn" Rainbow looked and shook a little. "Okay" she said and walked towards the stadium but was still nervous. "Fourth battle. Shadow Pegasus and Rainbow Pegasus will now commence" said the voice and Rainbow took a breath and said "Okay. Take it easy. Just calm down" to herself.

They both took their poses and Gray Eye said "Okay. This is going to be more boring. You're too weak to win anything" Rainbow became more unsure and then the voice said "Ready, set"

3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" They both shouted but Rainbow shook so her launch was unstable so when Shadow Pegasus attacked it flew out of the stadium quickly. "Ring Out Finish, Gray Eye wins the match with one point"

Rainbow shook more and Gray Eye said "This is more boring than before. The only good thing is it will go fast" With that Applejack shouted "Come on Dash. Get yourself together"

"b-But I can't" she said but then Applejack yelled "THIS IS ENOUGH" Everyone covered their ears and Gray Eye even said "Stop yelling" Applejack then said "It was just a loss. Are you really going to allow this copy cats walk right over you"

Rainbow looked at Applejack and she continued "You're Rainbow Dash. You never stop talking about how Awesome you are. You never leave a friend behind. And you've always been too stubborn to give up a fight. So why would you start now "

Rainbow's face lit up every now and then Fluttershy walked over and said "We both know you can do this Rainbow. Just trust yourself like we do" giving her friend a smile.

Rainbow took in everything they said and smiled. With that she turned around and said "Yeah. This one's mine" confidently. "Seriously. Did you forget what just happened? You're too weak to win anything" Gray Eye said but Rainbow just smiled and said "It was just a fluke. Time for an awesome comeback"

"Second Battle" the voice said and they took their stances. "Now Pegasus. Time to roar and win the battle" Rainbow thought and gave off a cyan glow and then the voice said "Ready, set"

3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and they went straight at each other. "Shadow Launch" Gray Eye shouted while Rainbow shouted "Rainbow Launch" and they attacked each other with equal force.

"Oh yeah. Dash is back and ready to rumble" Applejack said and Gray Eye said "I don't have time for this. I'm just doing the same as before" to himself. With that, Shadow Pegasus went against the rim and accelerated.

"Please, like that going to work again" said Rainbow and then she roared and called "Pegasus" With that she resonated with her Bey so the Pegasus avatar came forward. "End this, Shadow Flash" Gray Eye shouted and Shadow Pegasus charged at Rainbow Pegasus but then it dodged them at the last second.

"What" Gray Eye said in surprise and Rainbow said "I told you so. I won't fall for the same trick again" and then Rainbow Pegasus went against the rim and accelerated. "Then I'll just finish them off now" Gray Eye said then gave off a red glow.

With that Shadow Pegasus went up the slope and Gray Eye shouted "Shadow Strike" But just then Rainbow Pegasus went off the rim and crashed into the wall. "DO IT" Rainbow shouted and Pegasus gathered a lot of energy and charged towards its copy.

"Rainbow Flash Strike, NOW" Rainbow shouted and they collided with each other and after a while the shadow copy burst. Gray Eye gasped and the voice said "Rainbow Pegasus with a Burst Finish, Rainbow Dash wins"

"Oh yeah" Rainbow said cheering and then she went to her friends and said "Well, was that awesome or what?" Applejack laughed a little and said "Yeah Dash, That was awesome" and Fluttershy said "Congratulations Rainbow."

Rainbow smiled and said "Thanks, And thanks for knocking some sense into me" They shared a laugh but then they heard Gray Eye shout "It can't be. It can't have been fair. My launch was at least as good" angrily.

But then Rainbow said "Just because you do what I do, you can't win. All those attacking came from my bond with Pegasus and no one can copy that" proudly. Gray Eye was just mad but then heard the voice say "What a shame Gray Eye"

Gray Eye then looked up and the voice continued "Losing is not something that is allowed. Those who have lost must leave" and then the floor opened again and Gray Eye fell down.

The three friends were still a little worried about the trapdoors but then the voice said "Challenge, done" With that a new door opened and then an unsettling sound was heard. "What is it" Fluttershy said shyly and then you could see the ceiling begin to lower.

"The roof is falling" Applejack yelled and Rainbow said "Don't stay. Run" and they ran out the door and they made it to safety. "poof, That was too close" Fluttershy said but then Rainbow said "Come on now. We can't just sit here and sit still"

Rainbow started walking forward and Applejack looked at her and said "Well. It didn't take her long to get back to normal" With that they all started walking forward.

Amelia was very exhausted. There were only 9 beys left but she barely had the strength to stand. "It's only 9 to go" Pinkie said but Rarity said "But she's barely able to stand" Amelia breathed heavily and said "Just one more time. That's all I need"

"You can do it darling" Rarity shouted and Pinkie shouted "YES GO GIRL" Amelia looked at them and said "Yeah. I can do this" With that Amelia gathered all her strength she had left and shouted "3.. . 2... 1...” Just as the other Beys cowered, Amelia leaned back and shouted "Let it, Rip!"

Griffin went high into the air and Amelia shouted "Strike down, Storm Strike" Griffin created its cyclone and swept down and bursted a bey and went straight up again. "One more time. Storm Strike" Amelia shouted and Griffin landed another attack and bursted another bey and then went around the stadium.

Two of the beys came at Griffin from behind but Amelia then shouted "Feather Counter" and they were knocked away and one crashed into the wall and burst while the other crashed into another bey and they both burst leaving only 4 left.

Griffin went towards the center and the four Beys surrounded it. Amelia breathed heavier and called out "Griffin" and then she resonated with her bey so its avatar appeared. The four beys charged in unison and Amelia shouted "Feather Storm"

With that, the Griffin Cyclone came and caught up all the beys and they all burst at the same time. With that the meter reached 0 and the door opened. "I-I did it" Amelia said, dropping to her knees. "Amelia" Rarity and Pinkie called, rushing to her.

"Are you right darling?" Rarity asked and Amelia said "Yeah, I'm fine" Amelia stood up and then she saw a cupcake in front of her. Looking, she saw Pinkie holding it in front of Amelia. "Hungry?" Pinkie asked and Amelia laughed and took it. "Well then. Shall we continue?" Rarity asked and Amelia took a bite of the cupcake and said "Yep" With that they started to walk further.
