Everyone was shocked when they saw Sunset's demon form in front of them. Not Sunset as a demon but as an individual being. Sunset was terrified and shocked. She had hoped those memories were in the past but now her biggest mistake was in front of her.

Eclipse's laughter came to a stop and she looked at herself. "I'm really back. This is exactly where I was waiting for" she said looking at Sunset. "But I don't know how I can be here and Sunset there. How is this possible?" she asked herself.

"I can answer that" Ashtem said and Eclipse turned around. "And who are you going to be?" Eclipse said suspiciously and Ashtem said "I'm Ashtem. I conjured up everything so you could come here, Eclipse Shimmer"

Eclipse turned her head and asked "Eclipse?" Ashtem continued with "You are the darkness that darkens Sunset's life. Now you will darken everyone else's" Eclipse crossed her arms and said "And why should I do anything for you?"

Ashtem smiled and said "No one does anything without what gives them power. Lend me your strength and I'll give you what you need to take what you want most" Eclipse looked interested and asked "Do you know what I want?" Ashtem gave an evil smile and said "Equestria"

When Eclipse heard that she smiled evilly and said "Okay then Ashtem. It's a deal" But then Ashtem held out his arm and said "Not so fast" Eclipse looked confused and Ashtem continued with "Around here you have to earn everything. You must show that you have the power we seek"

Just then Robin snapped and said "Are you finished?" They both looked at him and Robin yelled "I don't care about your crazy plans. You did this to Sunset. Now I'm going to get payback" He turned to Sombra who was standing there and yelled "Sombra. You broke Sunset. Now I will break you"

Sombra was surprised by Robin's anger but then he laughed. "Please. You're not even worth the dust on my shoes as an opponent" Sombra said and then Ashtem stepped forward. "Robin Kings. You want to face Sombra. But then you have to earn it" Ashtem said.

Robin let out a scream and said "Alright, Fine. What am I going to do? I'll defeat whatever you throw at me" Ashtem then smiled evilly and then turned to Eclipse. "If you want to prove your worth, Defeat him, With this" Ashtem said and then a platform came up and Eclipse looked at it confused.

It was a rectangle with a launcher and a Bey. "What is this?" she asked and Ashtem said "In this world the ones that involve people the most are the Beyblades. If you're going to prove your power you have to prove you can take control of this Dark Phoenix"

"Phoenix?!" Robin said in surprise and the others gasped. "Dark Phoenix" Eclipse said surprised. And when she took the bey in her hands, she felt a wave of energy flow. With that she smiled and said "This is perfect" With that Ashtem turned to Robin and said "Well then. Will you still accept"

Robin looked at his Bey quickly and said "Okay. challenge accepted" The others gasped and Robin then helped Sunset up and took her to the others. "What happened to Sunset again?" Eclipse asked and Ashtem said "To get you out we needed to put her through the worst pain she's ever known"

"Unexpected" Eclipse said surprised. Robin and Sunset were now at the glass and they opened and Robin took Sunset in. "Sunset. How do you feel?" Twilight asked in concern and Robin helped Sunset sit down. Twilight did a quick check and said "You're still in shock. Just take it easy"

Sunset took a couple of breaths and then she turned to Robin and said "You can't go" Robin gasped and Sunset said "You don't know what you're dealing with. Her, That thing. You can't beat her" in panic.

Robin looked down a bit and they all looked at him. With that he looked up and said "I'm going" They all gasped and Robin said "I may not know anything about fighting demons or magic. But I know Beyblade. If it's a one on one fight I won't stand aside"

"But she's dangerous" Sunset tried and Robin said "That's why I have to beat her now" They all looked confused and Robin said "That Eclipse. She just got out of that machine. And it's the first time she's holding a bey. Now is the best time to win against her, while she is starting"

"He has a good point here" Amelia said and they all looked at her. With that Amelia walked beside Robin and said "I trust my brother. And you should trust your friend" and gave a smile. Robin was glad Amelia was with him on this and the other seven thought.

After a while the others were convinced and Robin said "You won't regret it" Robin turned to face the glass but stopped. "Sunset" he said and Sunset looked at him. "Don't worry. I'm going straight for the top," he said, walking towards the glass that was opened. "Be safe" Sunset said weakly and Robin headed towards the stadium.

With that, Sombra and Ashtem stepped aside to Ashtem's chair. As he sat down, he pressed a button and the drone flew up to him.

Shu was busy trying to get the connection back. "I need to see what happened. Who knows what Ashtem has been able to do" Shu thought worriedly. Just then the broadcast came back up and Ashtem was shown on the screen and Shu narrowed his eyes.

"I must apologize. Seems we had some technical issues" Ashtem said but Shu didn't seem to buy it. "But now it seems another fool needs to learn a lesson" Ashtem said and the drone turned to Robin.

"And now let me introduce the newest member of the Snake Dungeon" Ashtem said and the drone shifted to Eclipse. Everyone who watched was bewildered by what they saw. But everyone at Canterlot High watching recognized who it was.

Their heads became full of questions about how it happened, How Sunset’s demon is here and what happened to Sunset. "What you see is what it is. This is a creature that is not human. This is Eclipse Shimmer" Ashtem said and everyone was shocked to hear the name.

"Let me be clear. Eclipse has no connection to the weakness you call Sunset Shimmer. She is a much stronger Blader than Sunset ever was" Ashtem said. Everyone was still shocked and then the drone went into a still position.

"The match between Eclipse and Robin will now commence" said the screen. Robin took a deep breath and looked at his Bey and said "Drago" With that it gave off a glow and Drago's avatar appeared.

"Robin. What's your strategy?" asked Drago and Robin said "Dark Phoenix is very similar to Flare Phoenix. So they may have similar abilities. If we use what we know we can predict their moves" Drago looked and said "You seem to have something in mind" Robin gasped a little and said "I-It's, After all I hear about Sunset's demon thing, I'm not sure if I can win" With that Drago asked "But why were you so confident?" Robin looked up a bit and said "For Sunset. She was a wreck when she saw Eclipse. I can't let her worry anymore" Drago nodded but then he said "So you're going into battle with no confidence?" Robin looked at Drago surprised and said "You're right. I can't just shake in fear. I'll face the challenger head on. Neither Beys nor magic" Drago smiled and said "Good. Let's do it" and Robin came back to reality.

They both got ready and Robin thought "Okay Eclipse. What are you going to do?" and looked carefully. "Well then. Let's see what this bey can do" Eclipse thought and unlocked the small blades. "Defense mode. In that case" thought Robin and placed on the golden chip.

"First Battle" the screen said and they got ready. Eclipse attached her Bey to her launcher and held it out. "Okay Drago. It's you and me" thought Robin and then the screen said "Ready, set"

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Dark Phoenix headed towards the center as Drago circled the stadium. "Go for it now, Crash Launch" Robin shouted and Drago went on the attack. "Oh. This is going to be interesting. Dark Guard" Eclipse called out and the Dark Phoenix was surrounded by purple fire.

Drago attacked but the attacks were deflected. "Hey. That's Sunset's move. Talk about copycat" Rainbow said angrily and they all looked intently. "Please Robin. Be careful" Sunset said weakly and the attacks continued.

"I don't care if you have defenses. I just need to hit harder" Robin shouted and Drago went down the slope and then up again. With that Drago ducked and leaned forward and Robin shouted "Crash Upper"

With that Drago landed the attacks and Dark Phoenix left the center. "Oh not bad. But it's not enough" Eclipse said mockingly. "Dark Counter" she shouted and Dark Phoenix landed the counter attack hard and Drago flew away a bit.

"Drago" Robin called and Drago still landed in the stadium and moved against the edge. "This was more fulfilling than I thought. And crushing one of Sunset's friends will be more satisfying" Eclipse said, giving an evil smile.

"The only one who will be crushed is you" Robin shouted and Drago went against the rim and accelerated. "Now Drago" Robin called and resonated with his bey so Drago's avatar appeared. With that, Drago braked and headed straight for the Dark Phoenix and Robin shouted "Drago Breaker" and released a wave of energy.

Eclipse caught it and the attack landed hard. Robin started to roar but then Eclipse shouted "Dark Recoil" Just then the small blades retracted and a wave of purple fire swept around the stadium. Drago flew against the wall and quickly smashed it with the chip first and it flew out of the stadium.

"Dark Phoenix with a Ring Out Finish, One point goes to Eclipse" the screen said and Robin looked surprised at Drago. The others were shocked and Eclipse gave a laugh. "Oh, was it over so soon. I'd like to be entertained longer than that," she said with a cocky grin.

Robin looked at her annoyed and said "Overconfidence is dangerous you know. You only have one point, so you haven't won yet. I'll take two points and defeat you, wait and see" Eclipse glared at Robin and looked into his eyes.

"He's so stubborn. Even at a disadvantage he's no more insecure, If anything he's more focused" Eclipse thought. Robin picked up Drago and thought "That was a bust. But the next match is ours" But just then he noticed a crack in the dragon chip.

"What the" he said and tried to look closer. But when loosening the chip it split and went into two parts. Robin gasped thinking "If the chip didn't take the hit first, Drago would have been seriously hurt" and looked at Eclipse in concern.

"I can't let myself get caught like that of guard" he thought and then the screen said "Second Battle" They both got ready and the others looked at Robin. Just then Eclipse thought "If I'm going to crush him I'm going to need more power. But how?" After a short stunt, she smiled and knew the answer. When they were both ready the screen said "Ready, set"

“3…” Eclipse attached her Bey to her launcher. “2…” She took a leap backwards. "1..." She jumped forward again and her wings followed straight behind. "Let it, Rip!" then both shouted and Eclipse flapped her wings creating a wind push.

They went straight at each other and Eclipse shouted "It's time now. Dark Launch" Just then Robin shouted "Don't let them get away. Crash Launch" and they attacked each other again and again.

The others cheered Robin and then Robin said "I don't care who I face or what they can do. I won't let my friends down. I will win no matter what" Eclipse looked at him and thought "He's going on about the same nonsense as little Twilight. But the determination is somehow stronger"

With that Drago went against the wall and Robin shouted "Now, Crash Course" Drago crashed into the wall and went against the Dark Phoenix and the attacks did a good amount of damage. Eclipse was taken aback and Robin yelled "Go on Drago. Crash Course over and over"

Drago performed the attacks several times and the others cheered. "With all those attacks the Dark Phoenix will stop soon" Twilight said then Rainbow shouted "Come on Robin. Keep going and blast them out of here"

Sunset watched the battle and started to smile a little thinking "Maybe Robin was right. Defeating her now is the best thing we can do" With that she shouted "Come on Robin" The attacks continued and when Robin heard Sunset's voice he smiled and said "Okay Drago. Time to end this"

With that, Drago went against the rim and accelerated. With that, Robin began to roar and shouted "NOW DRAGO" and resonated with Drago so it's avatar came forth as a strong wave of crimson energy welled up.

"He seems to have a strong hop. Time to crush it" Eclipse thought and just then Dark Phoenix went against the rim and accelerated as well. Just then, she gave off a black and purple energy and shouted "End them, Phoenix"

With that, her Bey gave off the same energy and its avatar emerged. It was similar to the Flare Phoenix avatar but it had some notable differences. It was now black with a more purple and dark red fire. Its golden armor was spiked and silvery. And in its breast it had a purple crystal.

With that Drago went against the wall and Robin yelled "Ultra Crash Course" and Drago went off the wall and straight into the other one. At the same time as Drago crashed into the other wall, Dark Phoenix braked.

"Double Crash Course, Now" Robin shouted but then Eclipse shouted "Crush them forever. Dark Demon Whip" With that they went at each other and the Dark Phoenix attack blade was fully surrounded by purple fire and Sunset recognized it from her dream.

They went at each other and collided hard and sparks flew everywhere. Everyone was stunned but then Eclipse started to roar and her energy overflowed. Just then Drago flew into the wall and bounced into the stadium. But just then Dark Phoenix came at them and Eclipse shouted "NOW CRUSH THEM"

With that, Dark Phoenix landed another attack and Drago burst and flew into the air. Robin gasped and then in the air created a crack at Drago oh then the upper layer cracked into four parts and Robin was speechless. As the pieces landed in front of him, the screen said "Dark Phoenix with a Burst Finish, With a final score of 3-0, Eclipse Shimmer is the winner"

Everyone was completely still and Robin fell to her knees while Eclipse just stared. "Wait. It's over" she said surprised and started to feel something new. Just then Ashtem walked up to her and said "Well done Eclipse. Looks like you've proven yourself worthy"

Eclipse looked at him and then a door opened and Ashtem said "Come. We have a lot to do" With that Ashtem, Sombra and Eclipse walked towards the door while the others were shocked. Before they left, Ashtem turned and said "None of you are worth anything. Get lost"

With that the door closed behind Ashtem as an opening out and the glass opened. The others rushed to Robin and Amelia called out "Robin, are you okay?" but he gave no answer.

They stood around him and Robin looked down at the parts of Drago. "Drago. no" he muttered and picked them up with both hands. Sunset shook a little and tried to stick out her hand. "hey don't worry. Everything gonna be..." she started but when she put her hand on Robin's shoulder his eyes tensed.

Just then he slapped Sunset's hand away and yelled "Get away from me!" Sunset gasped and Robin watched with anger and sadness. Before he could ask, Robin ran off towards the exit that had opened. "Robin" Amelia called and she and Rainbow followed.

Sunset he shook a little and the rain started to fall. After a while, Robin had come out and ran away from the Snake Dungeon. When Amelia and Rainbow had come out, Robin was nowhere to be seen. Amelia tried to call out to him but there was no response.

Sunset felt Phoenix in her hand and she began to cry. The others tried to comfort her but it didn't work. They all started walking away but a feeling of complete loss.

It had been about a week since that day. The main 7 and Amelia had come back to Canterlot and all the students were full of questions that kept them all busy.

Wakiya came to school because he wanted to have a chat with the girls. They were now all in a rehearsal room and Wakiya noticed that some were missing. "What is Sunset and Robin? I'd like to have a word with both of them too" he asked, making them all uncomfortable.

"What?" he asked and Twilight said "Robin isn't here. After his match against Eclipse he ran away. It seemed to hurt him deeply" After that Amelia said "And Sunset is no better. She hasn't been able to come to school since… " but she couldn't finish the sentence.

"Hmm, I thought so" Wakiya said and continued "I assumed Sunset would be a bit down after Phoenix was destroyed. So Shu is on her way to her house now" The girls were surprised and Wakiya said "Don't worry. Shu knows how he'll handle this"

Sunset was at home and she couldn't muster the energy to come to school. All she did was sit on the couch and stare at Phoenix who was in pieces. She occasionally had flashbacks of the battle with Sombra, Eclipse, and Robin yelling at her.

"It was my fault. Everything is in chaos because of me" she told herself. But just then she heard a knock on the door. She managed to get off the sofa and went to the door. "Girls. I'm not in the…" she started to say as she opened the door but she stopped when she saw who it was.

"Shu. What are you doing here?" she asked and Shu said "I thought you'd be here. Can I come in?" Sunset opened the door more and said "Okay" and they both entered. Once they were inside Shu asked "Are you okay?"

But Sunset didn't look at him and said "It's all my fault" Shu was a little confused and she continued "Phoenix is broken, Drago is broken, Robin is missing and it's all my fault"

"It's not" Shu said but Sunset continued "Yes it is. If I never took Twilight's crown that demon would never exist. If I never started Beyblade Robin would have been safe. I just destroy everything I get near " and she began to cry.

Shu was taken by how Sunset felt and walked in front of her saying "Sunset. I understand how you feel. But it's not your fault" Sunset still didn't look at him and said "No. You can't. How would you?" a little angry.

Shu took a moment and said "I once took orders from Ashtem" Sunset was surprised and looked at him. "I wanted to be stronger so much so Ashtem made me think I needed to throw away everything I had. My friends, My name, Myself. I became a Blader known as Red Eye and I caused a lot of trouble for my friends" he told Sunset and she was surprised.

"But. Even after that, my friends came to my rescue. They were there and helped me, Even though I didn't deserve it" Shu said. Sunset was taken aback and Shu said "Sunset. I know how you feel about this. But I also know that your friends still care about you. So, I think you needed someone to show you how it feels that can say, Everything will to Fine"

Sunset took in what Shu had said and thought maybe Shu was right. She turned to the table and saw Phoenix lying there. She went over and after she picked up the parts she thought "Phoenix. I want to battle with you again"

After a while she turned to Shu and said "Shu. I want to get Phoenix back. Do you think you can help me?" Shu smiled at that and said "Sure. I knew you'd come around"

Sunset and Shu were now back in the same studio where they met. Sunset began by creating an image of what her new beyblade would look like.

"Remember. As a balance type you need to have the balance. Offensive and Defensive must be in sync" Shu said and Sunset said "Don't worry I already know" and she continued to draw. "Wait, Balance of Offensive and Defensive" she thought and got an idea.

"Wait. What if I…" she said, starting to sketch. Shu gave a smile and finally Sunset said "Done" She handed it to Shu and Shu said "Impressive. Okay, Let's get started" and they both left and started.

After a while Wakiya came in and the other main 6 and Amelia were with him. Just then Shu came out of the room and walked over to them. "Hey everyone" Shu said and Twilight asked "Shu. How was Sunset?" Suh gave a reassuring smile and said "Don't worry. She's creating a new Phoenix as we speak"

The others smiled that Sunset seemed to be back to her cautious self. Meanwhile, in a studio, Sunset was busy creating her new Bey. While she was working her mind seemed to be in the same place she is talking to Phoenix.

As she worked, it was as if her magic flowed and formed the various parts of the new Phoenix. First she created a red tip, then a Disc with a dark red outside and finally the top layer with two large blades on the side and small blades on the top and bottom with an image of a Phoenix on it.

"DONE" she shouted and went out to the others. "Sunny" Pinkie called and rushed to her and gave her a hug. "Pinkie. Can't breathe" he said as she was squeezed. Pinkie let Sunset go and the others walked up to her.

"Nice to see you Sunset" Applejack said and Sunset said "Same here. Sorry I was gone for so long" Amelia then said "Don't worry. But come on now. Show us" Sunset understood what Amelia was referring to and held out her evolved Phoenix and they were all fascinated.

"This is Solar Phoenix" she said and they were all impressed. Sunset looked at Phoenix and said "Phoenix. I can't wait to battle again" then she turned to face Shu. "Shu. I challenge you. I will show you everything that Solar Phoenix can do" she said excitedly. Shu smiled and took out his bey and said "Challenge Accepted"

They both took their places and Twilight was the ref. "First Battle" she said and Sunset then said "Okay Phoenix. Let's test your new balance mode" and put Phoenix in balance mode. "I'll meet you with the same" Shu said, changing his tip to a flat rubber tip with a sharp plastic tip.

They were both ready and Twilight then said "Ready, Set" and raised her arm. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and their Beys entered the stadium. Sunset looked closely at Phoenix but nothing happened and she thought "No, It didn't work"

Both beys circled and Sunset yelled "Who cares. Go Phoenix" and they both went on the attack. "So yeah. Keep it up Phoenix" Sunset called and then Shu called "Now, Astral Whip" and Spryzen landed the attack and Phoenix bursted.

"Burst Finish, Shu is the winner" Twilight said and Sunset picked up Phoenix. "Wow, This was tougher than I thought" she said then she turned to Shu and said "Come on. One more time"

They continued to battle several times but each time Sunset lost. In the ninth battle, Phoenix flew out of the stadium and Twilight said "A Ring Out Finish, Shu is the winner" and they all looked at Sunset worriedly.

Sunset picked up her Bey and said "Come on. Why can't I do it?" Shu looked at her and said "Don't worry. You just need to connect your feelings to the new Phoenix" Sunset looked at him surprised and thought of something.

(Flashback)

It was before The Sword Flame Cup. Sunset and Robin were up training and Robin had just managed to knock Phoenix out. "Yeah" he called picking up his Bey and said "That was awesome. You're the best Drago" and smiled.

"You know, You talk to your bey so much that I get a little worried" Sunset said but then Robin said "Hey now. don't pretend you don't talk to Phoenix as much" and they shared a laugh.

"But seriously. You really do have a strong bond with Drago. How did that happen?" Sunset asked. "I don't know. I was just trying to connect with Drago. But I guess I just needed to stop trying" Robin said and Sunset looked confused.

"It was more like I wasn't going to connect to Drago. But let me flow with and let Drago connect to me" Robin explained and Sunset said "Let Drago connect to you?" wondering.

(End of Flashback)

Just then Sunset realized something and Shu said "We're taking a break" Sunset then turned around and said "Wait. One more time" Shu looked at her showing that she was serious.

Shu thought for a second and said "Fine. Just one more time" Sunset then smiled looking at Phoenix thinking "I've always trusted Phoenix. I have to trust Phoenix to answer me now" Just then Phoenix let out a candle and Sunset seemed to be engrossed by it and she saw Phoenix's avatar which had changed. It had more armor, Its wings now had more fire feathers, It now had two sharp tails and it had a red crystal in its chest.

"Phoenix" Sunset said happily and Phoenix said "Sunset. I'm always here to answer you" Sunset shed a tear and she came back to reality. "Okay. Tenth battle" Twilight said and they both got ready. "Sunset. You can do it" Shu thought and Sunset then thought "Okay. Time to spin" and then Twilight said "Ready, set"

“3…” Sunset bent her left knee and stretched her right leg to the right. “2…” She started spinning around clockwise. "1..." She stretched her legs and went upwards quickly with a jump. "Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and both their Beys went towards the stadium. But while Phoenix went towards the stadium, some white blades went out in the chip and were locked.

Everyone was stunned and Sunset said "Yeah. It worked" Shu smiled and said "Okay Spryzen. We're going for the win" and Spryzen went against Phoenix and Sunset shouted "Do it. Solar Launch" and they attacked each other hard.

The attacks created a lot of sparks and wind drafts. "What power. She goes toe to toe with Shu" Twilight said, amazed. The others were just as fascinated and Phoenix managed to push the Spryzen back. "I won't let you" Shu shouted and Spryzen went away.

With that Shu started to roar, giving off a red energy and called out "Now Spryzen" With that he resonated with his Bey and the Spryzen avatar came forward. Just then Spryzen went straight for Phoenix and Shu shouted "Now, Counter Break" and Spryzen went straight for Phoenix and sent it into the air.

They all gasped but then Sunset shouted "I refuse to lose again" and both she and Phoenix gave off a scarlet glow. Phoenix then landed in the stadium and Shu said "They're still here?" surprised. With that, Sunset called out "Phoenix" and her magic came out. Along with her Magical Resonance, Phoenix's changed avatar appeared too.

With that they both picked up speed and as they went towards each other Shu shouted "Do it. Astral Whip" and Sunset shouted "Alright, Solar Whip" With that the Spryzen avatar swept with his ax and the Phoenix avatar with their tails so they formed a slash.

They collided hard and sparks flew everywhere. With each second they both got closer to bursting but when the Phoenix got to its burst stopper a huge shock wave formed and as both flew away from the stadium while Spryzen burst the Phoenix landed outside the stadium.

Sunset gasped a little and said "I won" The others smiled widely and Twilight said "Solar Phoenix with a Burst Finish, Sunset is the winner" happily. They all rushed to Sunset and they all celebrate. "You did Sunset" Twilight said and Sunset said "Yes. I did"

With that Shu came towards them saying "Well done Sunset. You should be proud" With that Shu gave Sunset the Phoenix and Sunset smiled. "We did it" she said and then she raised Phoenix up in the air and shouted "We did it Phoenix" and Phoenix shimmered.

It was raining in a forest and the only sound was the rain, wind and footsteps. Robin ran through the woods and had tears in his eyes. "Drago. No Drago" he cried and finally he slowed and fell to his knees. "Drago" he sobbed with the pieces of Drago in his hand. Just then an image came to his mind. "Get away from me!" he had yelled at Sunset and he remembers it right now.

"Sunset. Oh no" Robin said realizing how much he must have hurt her. "I-I, I have to" he tried to say and get up but then he heard something. "HEY" a voice shouted and Robin looked up to see who it was. Because it was dark, Robin couldn't see who it was clearly. But he could see that it was a man with spiky hair, a muscular body, and his eyes gave off the feeling of being stared at by an overwhelming monster.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" the man asked but Robin then fell to the ground. "Hmm, Pathetic," the man said, walking towards Robin. He looked and saw that Robin was holding something in his hand. "But what do we have here?" he asked and when he looked closer he saw where it was.

"A Bey?!" said the man surprised and he noticed it was holding what looked like a dragon on it. "This was an unexpected surprise. But I may need the entertainment" the man said and took Drago and then he placed Robin on his back and continued into the forest.
