The newly built Ministry of Supernatural a branch of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, has been built outside of London near a military base for protection. The agents and all other government workers have been given orders to find people who can use magic, magical objects, and other supernatural beings and objects. Which is a hard task thanks to centuries of fear of prosecution causing those who know to hide away. But now that a ruler of a country is showing off her magic and has a magical army backing her, the other countries are now trying to catch up.

The agents are mostly going around looking into the claims of people who have magic or objects. Much time is spent looking over old books and records trying to find magic. Which is having to shift through all the things written by people who just made up things and con artists who want to make money from the government. The only person that the new ministry has managed to find is a Benita Clifford who is a clairvoyant. (Benita novel)

According to the spies in Germany and the Ottoman Empire, the two countries are having more of a success in gathering magic both objects and beings. It’s thanks to the fact that they have Klabautermanns who can spot magic in people and objects. Temples and churches have been search for magic object and books that been hoarded by the religious leaders, lead by a Klabautermann the search parties found what they’re looking for. And if the priests claim that the wrath of god will strike down them, they’re just arrested. (1)

The two governments reminded the churches who has the real power and that hoarding magic to themselves when they have no intention of ever using it, is a crime. Both governments have made new laws where people speaking against the Klabautermanns is a criminal act. Both governments are making sure that their Klabautermanns remain loyal to them and not is happening in the United States.

The American Klabautermanns are still on strike and has left the entire nation’s navy without any large ship. They refuse to serve a country that sees women and anyone not white as second class citizens at best. And other nations are doing their best to lure the American Klabautermanns to serve their countries instead. Some of the American Klabautermann have taken to sailing off to other nations to show the politicians of the United States that if they don’t give in to their demands of equal rights, they will just leave.

United Kingdom -

The docks where HMS Victory is kept dock at, is the scene of a party as said ship is hosting the original six frigates of the United States Navy with a host of other American Klabautermanns. The navy personal tried to stop the party but against the super strong Klabautermanns, they couldn’t do anything or risk damaging the ship. Leading to the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Navy Staff, Rosslyn Wemyss, 1st Baron Wester Wemyss came to see what’s happening, as he was nearby and heard about the American Klabautermanns.

What greeted the sea lord is his flagship hosting a gathering of American Klabautermanns, with tables of food and alcohol drinks of all sorts, with some sodas like, Moxxie. He looked around seeing the American Klabautermanns paying no attention to him or his men with him, as they know there’s nothing they can do to get them off the ship. He spotted both Chesapeake and President talking with a tall woman with a voluptuous and powerful built body of a woman in her 40’s or 50’s appeared in front of the stage. She has long red brown that reaches her shoulders with strains of grey. Her uniform is that of an older style of a royal navy uniform. (2)

“Oh look the latest sea lord is here,” the English woman said looking at Wemyss.

“Are you Victory?” Wemyss asked.

“Yes, I am and thanks to these two who are both part of United States and of the Royal navies, I’m able to interact with them and join the party. It’s nice to have some fun, I haven’t been used since I was a teaching ship. They and their party having enough of the stalling back in the United States have decided to spend sometime away from the country. So they and the group who went with them came here,” Victory said.

“And it’s nice to see Victory after so long,” President said.

“And after the party we’re going to do some fixing as she’s in bad shape,” Chesapeake adds.

“But I thought that to summon a Klabautermann you need to do a summoning ritual?” Wemyss asked.

“I’m here but not as you see me,” Victory said as she walks to Wemyss and passed through him like a ghost. “I’m just a spirit a normal Klabautermann that you can see now thanks to the solid Klabautermanns on me.”

“Without us, you humans wouldn’t even be able to hear or see her. Takes a lot of effort and energy just for a ship to manifest a Klabautermann in ghost form. And only when certain requirements are met first,” President said.

“The king has been trying to summon you and the others,” Wemyss said.

“I know, he’s trying but without magic it’s trying to use a radio without power,” Victory said.

“And we can only allow the ships to create a ghost form not a physical body. But as long as we’re here you can speak to her and other ships,” Chesapeake said.

“We also have plenty of money for expenses,” President said pulling out a coin purse and emptying it out on a table showing a collection of different currencies from dollars, doubloons, pounds, yen, franks, and other coins. “Seeing how sailors will gamble in any port, I have lots of foreign coins on me.”

“And there’s also a chest of money onboard ships for buying goods at ports,” Chesapeake adds.

“How long will you all be staying?” Wemyss asked.

“Till the politicians back home understand that that we’re not going to be serving a country that doesn’t give us equal rights. And we two have served under the crown before,” President said.

“You Klabautermanns are looking for a new nation to serve?” Wemyss asks.

“We’re still deciding,” Chesapeake said.
