It's a wonderful day in Equestria, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and? ...Oh, who can't forget little old Everfree Forest. The one place that the technicolor ponies will not lay a hoof on. Anyway, let's talk about the Everfree Forest for a minute. So the forest is well known for its wild and chaotic nature. And also the home of the Castle Of The Two Sisters.
What many ponies, creatures, and one zebra. Don't know that the forest has a dark secret, so secret that the princess's didn't know about it or its existence.
Deep within the Everfree Forest (or the very heart of it to be precise) lays a tree of unknown origins. Said tree is about 30 feet tall, the trunk and branches being violet, the leafs cyan, and sprouting strange fruit with a coloration akin to twilight (not the pony) which gives off a strange feeling of uneasiness and weariness.
Of course, we're talking about the modern day equestrians and its other races. But, over two thousand years ago before the princess's rule, and in the earliest years of the unification of the three pony tribes. In these times there was war and famine across its neighboring lands.
The Dragons with there greed, the Griffins with their pride, the Minotaurs with their barbaric nature, and the Changelings with their everlasting hunger for love. These are the primary races that Equestria had to defend against after the nation was finally establish.
Since Equestria was still recovering from the windigos eternal winter, the only thing that they can do is to rely on each other to rebuild what they lost. And the other races continued to fight among themselves, until they set their sights on Equestria.
In this dark period, it was known as, "The Hundred Year War."
A war that spanned across all fronts. As the ponies defend their new rebuilding homeland from the new invasion forces on all sides, but it wasn't a one-sided battle. Even know the other races want to take the new land for their own reasons, they still fight among themselves. Little do they know, another party will soon join the war.
That is where our story for our wayward (you could say) heroine (not the drug, you dipsticks) journey begins.

I was in my deep beauty sleep, when all of the sudden I was woken up from one of the fruits being picked off my branches. I lost count as how many of the fruits were taken. I don't even bother anymore. And it's another squirrel, again. And why has it to be squirrel's, like, seriously. Yes, I will occasionally get the curious bird, or any other woodland critter that will eat one of the fruits on the ground. Well, there's that one time, a !!!FREAKING BLACK BEAR!!! ate one of my fruits, and it wasn't pretty. Well for the black bear that is.
I've been resting in this tree after the conclusion of the war. I don't know how long I've been out this time. Couple of weeks, a month, a year, or another century. who even knows anymore.
Ever since I have come to this world, I was involved in a war that was greater than both world wars combined back on Earth. Of course, I didn't jumped into the fray immediately, I have to learn how to control my new powers, and even learned some new ones from the of this planet. Then, it was time to end this war once and for all.
Well, at least I don't end the war by myself, like a solo raging berserker wanting more blood shed. But, I made a lot of allies and friends ever since I got here. Though, for some it them to convince I wasn't their enemy. The one race that took extra convincing were the Griffins, which it was a pain in the ass. 'All's well that ends well' I'll say, because without the alliance I made the war will ever end. And the way we did that is, replace the current ruler that are not on a hungry war path, solve the economic problems, and tracking down the Master Mind that has orchestrated the continuation for the war behind the scenes. And that's what we accomplished in the final years of the war.
But, it wasn't boring when I was resting in that tree.
The first incident when I was in slumber that a freaking magic draining centaur came bumming around, and sucking off all the magic from all the creatures in Equestria. How did I know about this. Well, let's just say that my keen sense of energy detection is quite sensitive. I even sawed it walk past by my resting place! That guy really scared me for a moment. If he found out where I was, and took my essence (as it were) from me, I will be dead on the spot. But thank God whoever stopped that maniac saved my life, and giving back the stolen magic to the inhabitants.
The next incident was when I felt powerful presences from three individuals. The power that they wield made me want to go on a mass rampaging, killing spree. However, before I came out of my resting place and confront them myself, that presence suddenly vanished in an instant. The side effects wear off gradually overtime.
Then, sometime after that. I felt a hole that was punched in the very fabric of reality for in a instant before closing back up. That wasn't all, at the same time as the sudden ter in reality, there is a new energy signature in the same vicinity as my resting place. Which by the way it never disapeded.
An other incident, how should I put this? Eh weird, yeah let's go for weird. What do I mean by this? Well, let's just say that the universe decided to have a aneurysm. Like the look of the forest floor around me was like a checkerboard, plus the surrounding animals, and trees were proportionately wrong. And I got a visitor, of... some kind of mishmash being? The thing came here looking around. Like, it was searching for something, then it left. I was very confused about that creature for a moment. But, I decided to not pay much mined to it, and watch the spectacle of the universe going through a massive drug trip. And then, someone decided to hit the reset button with a freaking rainbow show, that is fueled by the same energy signature that resides in the very forest that I'm resting in. That is concerning, if that very same energy source is directly fired upon me, I don't know what will happen to me?
Then I think the final incident happened sometime ago, I believe? Anyway, there was a familiar sense of energy similar to the second, but it was from one source. I was awake right before the incident occurred, it was a normal sunny day when all of the sudden it went completely dark! I decided to look up to see what's causing this darkness, and what I saw made me shock to my very core! A solar eclipse, a bloody solar eclipse, the first one I seen, ever since I got here. Before I can think of a way to stop the solar eclipse, the same rainbow energy was used again. This time it head straight for the moon that is causing the solar eclipse, when it hit it became daytime again. So I waited until it became night time again to see what became of the moon. As night finally falls I looked up at the Moon to see if there's any abnormalities about it. Then, I see a bloody head of a unicorn on the moon's surface!? I decided to stay awake for, (I think a week) to see if the moon has changed back to normal. But, looks like it's going to be permanently stuck looking like that, for now anyways.
I don't know when the next interesting thing will occur. Eh, figures going back to sleep anyways. But, it's been a while since I dreamed about my past. I think it's a good time to start remembering the good old days, before what I've become, and what led me to my current resting place.

Ha, spring break. The time to relax from work.
Or, so I thought...
*KOFF* *KOFF* *HACK* *KOFF*. "Thank God Almighty I had caught this in time before it could get any worse," I weekly commented to myself as I lay on my couch in the living room. Good thing I have the foresight to take this week off, because last week I was coming down with the freaking sniffs, a.k.a. the bloody cold. My nose was more stuffy than a London's chimney stack. Of course, seasons changing will do some major fuck ups with your body, including your immune system and shit.
Well the cold coming out of nowhere was a major setback. But, that isn't why I've taken this week off. For you see, I was waiting for a package to arrive at my house. What's being delivered you may ask? Well it's the Ninjark sword, memorial edition. The memorial edition is, I guess you can say, how it looks in the show in terms of size and scale. Unlike its DX counterpart, the memorial edition has more features such as additional sounds and added voice lines.
Oh, I'm going on a tangent, aren't I.
Well, let me explain what I'm talking about. Have you guys seen or watched Super Sentai? ...And judging your lack of a response, I can't blame you. After all, its where Power Rangers originated from. Now I know what you're thinking, isn't Power Rangers and American production, and I will say you're half right. For you see, 99% of footage and the themes in the show is originally from a Super Sentai series.
The particular Sentai series that I'm getting this from is Don Brothers.
It's very much interesting, and I encourage you to watch it. And the character that this item belongs to is Don Murasamé. Who in my opinion is the underutilized character, with little to lack there of a backstory. Hell, even the "Mother" entity has no backstory, and her motivations for the events that transpired in the series.
There are, of course, countless theories of what she is, and a reason for Don Murasamé's awakening. But, some people just make up head cannons for this sort of thing.

At the sound of my doorbell ringing, I immediately shot up from my couch, made sure I looked presentable to the mailman or woman, and made sure I took another cough drop right before opening the front door.
"Good day, are you-" the mailman looks at his tablet, "-F̴̗̹̈́̃i̷͍̕͝n̶͊͜ ̸͎͌Š̴̜͝t̴̙̄͠e̷̼̐̈l̶͖̊l̵̼̒a̸̘͇̍̈́ṙ̴̠?" He asks me, with the tablet in one hand, and the package in the other.
"Yup that's me," I replied.
"Good, sign here please," The mailman hands over the tablet for me to sign. I happily do so. After putting my signature on the tablet screen, I handed the tablet back to the mailman, and the mailman gave me my package.
The mailman looks at the tablet to make sure everything is in order, "And that should be it, have a good day sir," the mailman says as he walks back to his truck. I calmly wave as he leaves my driveway.
"Now then, let's get this bad boy open," I told myself, as I walked back inside my house. After thinking for a bit of where to put the package? I decided to place it on the dining room table, then I realized I don't have a knife on me! With a huff I went into the kitchen to grab a knife, which I don't want long, nor super sharp. While I'm at it, might as well get the batteries from the pantry. Don't remember what size it requires for it to function, since my brain is much, well, scattered brain.
With knife in hand as a couple packs of double and triple A-batteries, I walked back to the dining room to open up my prize. Once opened, I take a look inside to see it indeed is the Ninjark sword, memorial edition. Alongside the bubble wrap there is a letter lying on top of the other box inside, "Hmm, This is new?" I questioned the small envelope.
Maybe it's one of those thank you for buying type messages? With that in mind, I open the envelope to see what the sender says to me.
Dear, Stranger.
I hope this gets to you, because the postal service has been lacking lately. Also have some fun with your new toy.

Uh, okay? Not my weirdest thank you order yet. But still, pretty weird. I flipped over the letter to see if there was any additional information, but nothing came up. I put the letter aside, and start taking out the true item of interest from the box. After fully getting it out of the box, open up the battery compartment and see what size of batteries I need to put in it, after opening the compartment I see it needs two double A batteries. After putting the batteries in, I was about to place it somewhere in my office along with the rest of my other memorabilia, then call it a day. But, an idea pops into my head, why not play around with it first before putting it away?
With that in mind. I position myself to start the transformation sequence.

After the jingle was finished (as I like to call it) I walked to my office to put the sword away along with the rest of other memorabilia, such as legos and transformers. What, can a grown man like me like the stuff they grow up with as a kid... didn't think so. Now where was I... ah yes, after putting away my newest piece to my collection. I went back to my living room to watch some more TV. A few hours later, I watched the late night news, while I ate dinner. While I was eating, the news was talking about its usual bullshittery, like can you guys talk about something more important than Joe Biden making a half ass speech. I rather want to listen to an update on the Ukraine war than this piece of garbage. After that fucked up fuckery which is the American News Network, I turned off the TV, put the dishes in the sink, brush my teeth, then went to bed early because of the cold. God, I hate being fucking sick.
Little did I know that this night would be my last night on earth.

While F̴̗̹̈́̃i̷͍̕͝n̶͊͜ ̸͎͌Š̴̜͝t̴̙̄͠e̷̼̐̈l̶͖̊l̵̼̒a̸̘͇̍̈́ṙ̴̠ was sleeping. In his office the sword that he got started to glow slightly. Then, in a bright flash of light the sword is floating in the air. And it shot quietly towards his bedroom. As the sword hover above him, in another flash of light, both F̴̗̹̈́̃i̷͍̕͝n̶͊͜ ̸͎͌Š̴̜͝t̴̙̄͠e̷̼̐̈l̶͖̊l̵̼̒a̸̘͇̍̈́ṙ̴̠ and the sword vanished out of sight, leaving the house empty and vacant.

It was a normal day out in these calm and quaint woods. The local wildlife do as they please, birds tweeting away, and a curious Fox looking for its next meal. What these little critters didn't know is that today they will be getting a new visitor. Up high in the sky, above the small forest a rift suddenly opens up out of nowhere. The suddenness of it appearing made all the nearby animals scattered. Much as the rift appeared it quickly vanished. But, something came out of it, from the ground looking up at the sky where the rift was, you may think the object that came out of the rift is a stick? Oh, you are so wrong. That ain't no stick, that's a sword!
As the sharp blade plummets towards the forest floor, if anyone were around to see the blade's trajectory in order to avoid getting stabbed. You can get to see what the blade looks like, if you're standing far away from its potential landing position. The sword is a single side blade, its edge looks like a jagged saw blade, and on its hilt looks like a small disc. And its color palette is the oddest thing you'll ever see, Cyan primarily on the blade's edge, the main blade an odd shade of pink, with some black here and there.
*SHINK* *THUNK*
The sword landed, sticking itself into the ground in a small clearing of the woods. A cool breeze flows past the clearing making some of the trees to wrustle. Everything went quiet once again, with the sword sitting there (menacingly) alone in the clearing.
What anyone doesn't know, that this sword will bring change to the world as they know it.

I immediately woke up with a huge jolt. I never wake up like that since I've had nightmares as â child. But, something is off? Like, something really wrong. One, I'm not in my bed anymore. Two, I'm not in my house either. And finally three, my eyesight is completely out of whack, I can only see in black and white. But, not in the style of the old movies, no no no. The outlines are white, while everything else is completely black. Looking around, I realized I'm in some random woods out in butt fuck nowhere. What my new eyesight can tell me at least. With nothing else to do I asked the ultimate question. "Alright, who's the wise shit bag that decided to drag my ass out in the middle of the fucking woods." When I tried to voice my complaints out loud, nothing happened. Like, nothing at all.
"Oh that ain't good." I quickly started to panic, then I realized something else. 'Wait I can't move my body, but I can move my head?!' and apparently it can move freely three sixty degrees, like an owl. "Well, if that's the case, I might as well look at myself." With that thought in mind, I immediately look down to see...?! "Wut. Da. Fuk!" Well, I found out two things. Firstly, I found out the reason I can't move my body. Secondly, apparently I turned into a god-damned freaking sword!? Like, HolyFuckingShit!!
"All right calm down, think, think, think, remember what happened before this situation." I racked my brain in order to find the answers that I need. Eventually, I found one. Right I got this replica product, messed around with it, placed it in my office, and went to sleep. Then, I end up here... great. (Sigh) Well, that's what my brain can come up with. Then why does the situation feel familiar? I will worry about that later, what I to be focusing on right now is to figure out how to move.
Mentally, I tried to at least wiggle the blasted sword that I become. But, no such luck. Well piss, I'm a sword stuck in the dirt. And probably rusting as we speak, ladies and gents. If there is a sentence that I want to say, it will be.
"Aw, shit... This can't get any worse... can it?" little did I know that I said called forth a Divine being from the very depths of the sword.
Well I don't think so, Murasamé.

Someone just called out to me, and it sounded feminine. I started looking around, but found nothing thanks to my new eyesight being all fucked, "Alright, who goes there?" I called out in my head.
There is no need to fear, Murasamé.
I continued to look around to find the mysterious voice. So far, no such luck, "Show yourself, now!" I demanded.
Now don't be so hostile, Murasamé.
"Don't be so hostile?! Don't be so hostile!? Lady, I swear to God Almighty, if you don't show yourself, things will get violent!?" I frustratingly questioned the disembodied female voice.
Look back down and you will seek the answer that you need, Murasamé.
Wait, 'look back down and you will seek the answer that you need?' does that mean... I looked back down at the sword that I became, so that means... "Ah, fuck." Great, just, great. Now I got another voice in my head. Hold up, she keeps calling me "Murasamé"? Isn't my name... ... ...! Why can't I remember my name! If my mind wasn't in a panic before, then it's now a bloody heart attack!
There is no need to panic, Murasamé.
All right, listen to the woman's voice, calm down for a sec, and think rationally, "Okay, so... what to do next?" As I was thinking this, she decided to chime in with her own two cents of what I should do next.
First, you must transform, Murasamé.
I replied to her in â deadpan tone, "And, how am I supposed to do that? I don't actually have hands anymore, lady."
You don't need them, Murasamé.
As soon as she said those words, my mind was suddenly filled with images of how to transform into a familiar looking form. With that information in mind, I started the sequence. By imagining to spin the small disk on the hilt of the sword, then thing's really started to kick things off.
(Rev, Rev, Rev, Rev.) WHAT'S UP.

After spinning the disk roughly four times, it started to play heavy tropical metal music along with the sword (and me by proxy) to start floating into the air, and just hovering there. And what I presume my body began to materialize with the second part of the sequence begins.

With the transformation completed, I looked myself over once more to see that I indeed become human again, As well my eyesight is back to normal. But, it appears that I am wearing a set of clothing/armor? If memory serves me right, this is some type of Shinobi/Ninja armor. Hmm, at least I have some protection in case there is something out here that wants to attack me immediately. Now, on to the next thing, my body.
Flexing my fingers, I began to stretch my body as if I was sleeping on a flat surface. With the stiffness out of my aching bones and sore muscles, I then test it to see if my voice is still intact. "テスト 一 二 三 テスト?! (Testing one two three testing?!") I pause realizing that I do have my voice but, what just came out of my mouth right now is one language I do not recall having. "ああ、これは変だ. (Okay this is weird.") All right, now I know what I'm speaking that I know I'm speaking. I really am speaking in Japanese. Not terrible Japanese, but in perfect, fluent, Japanese!
Wait, if my vocal speaking voice is Japanese, what about my thoughts? '♪Yo-ho-hoy yo-ho-hoy...♪ ♪Yo-ho-hoy-hoy...♪,' okay, so my internal thoughts still speak English. But, not my physical voice. This gave me pause, until a simple answer came to my head. Though I decided to say it out loud so I can get used to this.
"では、私の実際の声が日本語で話されている理由は、私が何を言おうとしているのか、何を言っているのか誰も分からないからでしょうか?(So, the reason why my physical vocal voice is speaking Japanese, is because no one doesn't know what I'm going to say, or what I'm saying?") Now that I think more about it, it does make a little bit of sense.
Yes, the reason why you're speaking like this, is because certain vital information will not be put in a hands of the enemy, Murasamé
"Yeah, good point there lady,"I agreed with the motherly female voice. So this will be very useful in certain situations. But, there's a downside to this as well. Like, how the hell am I going to communicate with any locals that don't speak -well- Japanese, let alone understand it? "And, before I -or- we continue this little debacle what should I call you, disembodied female voice?" I mentally questioned the woman inside my head/sword.

"Mother?" Okay, that came out of left field.

Alrighty then, now I got a proper name for the female voice. Mother, huh, I don't know how long I said that particular word in front of my mom, for a very long time? Aye, mother it is then.
Now that I have a human form again, I can finally see my surroundings more properly. And hey, if there's anything useful that can clue me in as to where I am, or if there's any one watching me from the shadows, which I highly doubt it. So, I walked over to the nearest tree, and placing my hand on its trunk I could feel the bark underneath my fabric glove. "ふーん、布で覆われているのに、まだ手で何かを感じるんだ. (Huh, I still feel things with my hands, despite being covered up by cloth.") Alright, now that everything is 100% positive back to normal. Now I can finally start to train my new skills as a shinobi.
Reaching my arms around my back I grabbed onto the sword that was attached there, and held it out in my hands for a propper examination. The fact that the sword did have any dirt or grind when it was sticking into the ground was amazing.
Searching for my personal memories of what a shinobi is capable of, and mother occasional information injection. Most of my skills are tied to the sword that I held in my hands, and some basic stuff. Like, how to hide in the shadows, how to take out an enemy quietly, and how to get vital and classified information.
Well, before I started training myself how to use the sword properly, among some other stuff. I need to see what time it is, since I don't know how long I was out for? A quick glance up at the sky will tell me what hour of the day it is depending on the sun's alignment. If I remembered correctly, in the morning the sun rises from the East, and then when it becomes night time, it descends to the West. And sure enough, it looks like it's getting dark out. "そうですね、男性は美容のために睡眠をとる必要があります. (Well, a man needs to get his beauty sleep.") I commented to myself.
I returned my gaze to the forest, to see if there's a perfect spot to hide my sword, so I can sleep for the night. "Now then, shall we begin our search."
After walking around for a bit. I found the perfect place to hide my sword in so no one can Disturbed me in my sleep. "Well then might get some shut eye."I thought to myself as I place the sword inside the crevice of a tree that is big enough to insert the sword into.
But... ... ... ...? How do I de-transform and enter back into the sword? "ポーズをとってもいいでしょうか? (Should I strike a pose?") I ask myself while I was striking various poses. Which, now that I think about it, I looked like a total dumbass. When that didn't work, I spun the disc on the sword four times. But, nothing happened. "Okay what the hell am I doing wrong?!"
It isn't that difficult, Murasamé.
"Wut! Is that easy!?" Okay, it has been a hot minute since I heard her voice? But, now that I think about it. Agh, I'm a total bloody idiot. Why I haven't thought of it sooner. After mentally concentrating for a bit, I finally managed to figure out how to de-transform, and enter back into the sword with no little problem.
"Well then I guess this is good night."
Good night, Murasamé.
"Yeah, good night mother." And with that, I went back into a deep slumber once more, until the next sunrise.
