Chocolate Rain
By dashie76
I do not own the original Chocolate Rain song. This poem is, however sung to the same tune. You can find the original video here:
Like I said, I don't own the video, so please don't pull out a copywrite law on me.
Chocolate Rain
It fell from the pink clouds down to the ground
Chocolate Rain
Be still, silent, just don't make a sound
Chocolate Rain
Ponies turning gray in full despair
Chocolate Rain
A mist of vile evil in the air
Chocolate Rain
Never again will the pink clouds be white
Chocolate Rain
Buildings turned to cardboard - what a sight
Chocolate Rain
Popcorn popping without being hot
Chocolate Rain
Never again shall peace and calm be sought
Chocolate Rain
Elements cast forth into the night
Chocolate Rain
Elements lost to the evil's might
Chocolate Rain
With Elements gone, immortals start to brawl
Chocolate Rain
With Elements gone, immortal ponies fall
Chocolate Rain
Our kingdom has died, Chaos rules it now
Chocolate Rain
If there's a way to stop this, tell us how
Chocolate Rain
We'd almost rather die than choose to live
Chocolate Rain
To stop this hell, O anything we'll give
Chocolate Rain
Our land has fallen - all things randomized
Chocolate Rain
Its final days put down in this reprise
Chocolate Rain
It fell from the pink clouds down to the ground
Chocolate Rain
Be still, silent just don't make a-
Chocolate Rain
It brought my power straight down to the ground
Chocolate Rain
If you wish to live, don't make a sound
Chocolate Rain
Everyone is gray in full despair
Chocolate Rain
A beautiful mist of random in the air
Chocolate Rain
I got free, and on that very night
Chocolate Rain
Everything I changed - O, what a sight
Chocolate Rain
Who says popcorn must be hot to pop
Chocolate Rain
Peace and calm shall never again be sought
Chocolate Rain
Foolish Elements cast off into the night
Chocolate Rain
Obviously, they lost to my great might
Chocolate Rain
With them out of my way, I start to brawl
Chocolate Rain
Finally, the royal sisters fall
Chocolate Rain
The kingdom they once knew left, take a bow
Chocolate Rain
Cower before my might, I rule - and how
Chocolate Rain
They say they'd rather die than choose to live
Chocolate Rain
To stop me, anything they say they'll give
Chocolate Rain
No matter what I get, I'll randomize
Chocolate Rain
The land whose days they wrote in this reprise
Chocolate Rain
It fell from the pink clouds down to the ground
Chocolate Rain
Be still, silent, just don't make a sound.

The Skytail Poem Challenge
The Skytail Poem Challenge
By dashie76
So this poem actually has a bit of backstory. This chapter used to be a message saying for my readers to send me ideas to write my next poem about. Skytail (he's on FIMFiction, check him out!) private messaged me and giving me an..."idea"...to write about. Here were the requirements:
"it must be 500 words long. the poem most be in a A B A B C D C D rhyme scheme. you have to work the word 'shalldelic baby' at least three times, and you must work in a joke from the show from Gravity falls.
(extra credit: this is optinal but you get extra *fake* points if you can put at least 20 diffrent bird names with 3 of them being pokemon."
The poem below is the result. I don't think that it is my best work, but it at least proves that I can rhyme just about anything.
Keep sending me ideas!
Once upon a time, in the ponyville school
A shalldelic baby was falling asleep
The baby’s name? Scoot A. Loo
The baby’s talent? Riding through the street
On an orange-blue scooter fashioned from wood
She loved that scooter - It consumed all her thought
She rode through the town and saw it was good
From Caramel’s mother Syrup it was bought
She didn’t like school, “I think it’s a waste
Of time and focus!” She always did say
Her young baby mind wandered through space
Dreaming of gumdrops and candy all day
She had two friends very close to her heart
Their group of three were all blank flanks
On dangerous missions the three would embark
Through forests and valleys and landfills that ranked
All of their efforts had one common goal:
Finding their special talent and meaning
Knowing what they could contribute to life’s bowl
Once each task was done, and with faces beaming
All three looked down to check out and see
But all times were the same - All flanks remained bare
But they knew that someday, on life’s lands and seas
They’d earn their marks and all ponies would stare
And gawk at how amazing they were
These three filly’s marks were astounding to all
Marks of pure awesome and coolness for sure
Stallions all over would ask for a ball
But those days were a long time away, for now
The shalldelic baby was just worried with tests
Even though every class, Spoon would take a bow
For always having done the best on the test
So now, dear reader, you see with your eye
That Scoot A. Loo’s life is busy and big
And you can sympathize when she did defy
Her parents orders to join a bird gig
It took away one whole day in her week
Twenty-four precious hours without her scooter
Bird watching was for the meek and the weak
If mom said to do this, she’d just have to boot ‘er
But seeing as how mom was twelve foot two
The shalldelic baby decided to wing it
And hope that the watch she could make it through
She said “Do your worst! Cause all hell! Bring it!”
Because it was cold and she had the chills
She listened to other conversations - she heard
Spoon saying something ‘bout restaurants and bills
But Scoot didn’t care care - she was staring at birds
She saw blue jays and red jays and ospreys and eagles
Scarlet Ibis, humming birds and toucans
Mockingbirds that copied you - Is that legal?
Hawks and sparrows with clawlike hands
She saw pidgeys and swallows and crow loop de loops
She saw wingulls and pelippers, woodpeckers, pidgeots
Flamingoes and kiwis and doves that did swoop
And much more - she truly did see a lot
But the strangest thing was, it was kind of fun
Which didn’t make sense, but even still
She liked to watch the birds play in the sun
She watched until her eyes got their fill
But then she had to say her goodbyes
The end of the day came, and this she did hate
But now she is a little more wise
And knows things don’t have to be cool to be great

This is Nightmare Night
By dashie76
Sung to the tune of "This is Halloween"
I do not own the film "The Nightmare before Christmas," nor do I own any of the songs therein. This is purely a fan made work.
Fillies and colts from everywhere,
Wouldn't you like to have a good scare?
Follow us at the hour of midnight,
And see our town of Nightmare Night.
This is Nightmare Night.
This is Nightmare Night.
Shadowbolts fly in a deadly plight.
This is Nightmare Night.
Everypony dies of fright.
Demons come from the land that lies beyond the light.
Monsters, zombies, witches, what a sight!
In our town of Nightmare Night.
I am the pegasus climbing on your roof,
Eyes red as blood and knives in my hooves.
I am the hydra hiding under your bed,
Necks like snakes and four hungry heads.
This is Nightmare Night.
This is Nightmare Night.
Nightmare Night! Nightmare Night!
Nightmare Night! Nightmare Night!
In this town,
All night long,
Everypony hail to the Moon Mare's song.
Come, make haste!
Everypony loves this place
And all of us are waiting for the next surprise!
But don't stay too late at night,
'Cause just behind you out of sight,
Something's waiting to devour you, and you'll
SCREAM!
This is Nightmare Night!
Black and blue and ghostly white!
Aren't you scared?!
Well, that's alright.
Say it once, twice, and thrice,
Take a chance to roll the dice,
Ride with the moon 'cross the sky.
Demons, what a sight!
DEMONS, WHAT A SIGHT!
In our town of Nightmare Night.
I am the tall one hiding in the leaves,
Lacking a face and as high as the trees.
I am the who, what, why when you cry,
I m the wind blowing through the sky.
I am the Mare in the Moon at night,
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright.
This is Nightmare Night.
This is Nightmare Night.
Nightmare Night! Nightmare Night!
Nightmare Night! Nightmare Night!
Little ponies everywhere,
Life's no fun without a good scare.
That's our job, so tremble with fright
In our town on Nightmare Night.
Come, make haste!
Everypony loves this place!
And all of us are waiting for the next surprise!
Nightmare Moon might catch you very soon
And pin you to a tree, slowly rip you limb by
LIMB!
This is Nightmare Night!
Dark and void of light!
Won'tcha please make way for a very special mare?!
Our mare Nightmare is queen of the Nightmare Town.
Everypony hail to the Nightmare Queen now.
This is Nightmare Night.
This is Nightmare Night.
Nightmare Night! Nightmare Night!
NIGHTMARE NIGHT! NIGHTMARE NIGHT!
In this town,
All night long,
Everypony hail to the Moon Mare's song.
La! La! La! La la
La! La! La! La la
La! La! La! La la
La! La la la!
Wheeeeeeeeee!

A Rhyme of the Royals
By dashie76
A long time ago, in a faraway place
The alicorn lived - an all powerful race
With hooves of the earth, wings of the sky
And a horn of magic they were mighty and high
They cared for their kingdom lovingly
They ruled in peace and harmony
'Till their sister race, the draconequii
Came to make the harmony die
With the head of a pony, leg of a mule
Arm of a lion, chaos as fuel
Tail of a snake, and a heart of mirth
They truly were the demons of earth
Their chaotic powers were sent 'cross the land
Beetles to flowers, glass to sand
This, the alicorn could not stand for
And so, their nation went to war
Both sides immortal, still killed each other
Both sides invincible, still hurt one another
Two massive and godlike races collide
With death and destruction on either side
Their fight raged on for a century
Many lives were claimed, but eventually
Between three beings the final battle was born
One draconequus, two alicorn
The alicorn found six Elements of Harmony
They were Honesty, Laughter, Kindness, and Loyalty
Generosity and Magic were the final two
And these six Elements the alicorn used
Tow finally seal their enemy away
They bound him in stone, and to this day
His statue rests on this royal ground
...But I've heard rumors floating around...
They say that when the Elements' power
Was used once again at midnight's hour
To stop the Mare in the Moon's second plight
To bring about eternal night
They were not used by the princess, they say
Rather, six Ponyville mares saved the day
And now that the princess does not control them
Her greatest evil is rising again
The being of chaos, last of his kind
Is coming for vengeance: Discord shall rise
You must escape now, he's coming for us
The final chaotic draconequus.
