Blood stained the walls around me, coated my clothing, and dripped from the wounds on my friends and I. The monstrosity that stood before us cackled as his last trace of cohesive thought left him. He tore into the bright pink mare to my left and ripped her jaw on two, "Now you'll have the biggest smile forever." He continued forward and I tried to get in front of him. However, this just lead him to pierce the prestine white mare behind him with his red tail, her heart still beating as he said, "You really are so giving aren't you, giving your still beating heart to save a loved one." He dropped her off his tail and moved towards me. I tried to attack him, but all that happened was me getting back handed into a pillar. "You'll get your chance, but not yet." He stated. He spent time tearing through my friends, my family... The loves of my life and I couldn't do anything. I dropped to the floor and coughed up a lot of blood. I was losing a lot of blood and it grew colder by the second. Darkness started to flow into me as I was losing consciousness. My last thoughts were the following; I wish I could just be more for them, I wish I was connected to them so much more than I am now, and I wish I could start over. As the darkness seeped further in I heard a grating voice inside my own head, "Wishes confirmed. First wish, changing physiology, balancing internal factors, allowing higher growth standards, and granting a magical gland. Second wish; ungranted... trying once more... Ungranted... Once more.. un... Once.. un. Once. Second wish coinciding with another's, specialized magic connected to your fates and their fates intertwining you and them into prime spectrum, current spectrum nearly destroyed alowing absorbtion of current spectrum. Third wish; temporal spectrum allocated, gathering for a 'restart', 'restart' given. So long, see you later." Then, my final breath left me. I woke with sweat coating every inch of me, something fealt off, as if I was missing something or didn't remember something. Like it was right there, but, not. I just shook my head and headed to my front door, grabbing my cigarettes and a lighter. I stepped out, lit one up, and took a long, slow drag. What was it again, feels like a night terror and a near death experience all in one, I thought. Also, feels like I lost a lot. Almost everything actually. I thought until I finished my cigarette and walked back in. I set my stuff down, grabbed some clothing and took a shower, thinking throughout the shower as well. What was it seriously. I got dressed afterward and put a dark red hoodie on. I went out for another smoke and called in a pizza delivery. The pizza came in ten minutes or less and I stopped thinking as I ate. A grating voice filled my head uncomfortably coming from nowhere seeming and I tumbled over onto the ground as pain slit my head, "time has come for prime spectrum sending Kyle Aaster to Equesria." "The Fuc!!!!" I started as I was suddenly pulled into some kind of wormhole, or black hole. I couldn't fight it and it pulled several items near me into it. Darkness coated everything and I realized I couldn't feel or hear anything either. After what could have been an instant or an eternity I finally fealt something. A cold wind on my face. It shook the leaves and I could hear them. The smell of a forest. I opened my eyes and realized I was in a dark forest at night. My table was next to me and was shattered. I finished the final piece of pizza, cleaned my hands off in a small stream, and grabbed my phone. I turned on the phone, but found it to be mostly useless. I turned it back off and pocketed all the useful items along with my phone. I walked around for a while until I found a clearing. I couldn't quite find the reason, but, this space fealt so much creepier. I heard noise and decided to move towards it, but, still showed caution. After some time I saw a castle and fealt something draw me towards it. I fought it for a while thinking, I'm gonna die if I go in there aren't I.. but... I have to. I don't know why, but I know my answers are there. My face seemed calm, but, i was shaking like a leaf, one moment from vomiting, and just wanted to run away. However, I moved forward. As I closed in upon the castle I could hear female voices that sounded familiar for some reason, but, not for the same reason. I followed the voices until I finally could see the girls that were speaking. My mind broke a bit as I looked upon them, all of them were humanoid equines. Two were what I assumed to be pegasi, two had no extra characteristics save for being humanoid, and one was probably a unicorn. Unfortunately for me I tripped as I tried to follow them and landed flat on my face. This brought their attention onto me and they rushed to me. I panicked a bit and sat up and found out that my nose was bleeding. That's when one of the pegasi, a soft yellow one with light pink hair and aqua marine eyes, said softly to the unicorn that was prestine white with indigo hair and dark blue eyes, "oh no he's hurt. I'm sorry Rarity, but do have something to stop the bleeding." Rarity answered while pulling a white cloth with an r on it out, "no need to apologize Fluttershy I would have given it in the first place." She handed it to Fluttershy and Fluttershy held it under my nose. I felt something very familiar and teared up. "Is something wrong, did we scare you?" Fluttershy asked. I simply said very quietly, "no, I just felt something that I can't explain. Something familiar." The orange mare with blonde hair and deep green eyes said, "I don't know why, but it does feel laik I've seen um before." The other mares nodded as well and I just smiled. I took hold of the cloth, accidentally brushing Fluttershy's hand as I did, making her blush a bit. Then we heard a noise coming from a set of stairs. We all walked towards it and I heard two people speaking. "You cannot destroy.." time seemed to slow down for me as I saw a purple unicorn talking and a black hybrid about to stab her through her chest. I don't know how I did it, but, I jumped in front of the blade while screaming, "Twilight no!" The blade pierced my chest painfully and blood dripped from the wound. I could hear the confusion and sadness from behind me. I pulled the mare who had her blade in me closer and said quietly, "I'll forgive you, for I know this is not you." From the mare in front of me I could see tears dripping from her eyes. I was pulled off her blade by the mares behind me and my shoulders burned for some reason. I heard some mudled words a I tried to ignore the pain, until I finally heard, "and finally forgiveness. These are the elements of harmony, they cannot be broken because they are those that you see here. My friends." My wounds healed within an instant as a necklace appeared on me with a green thorny snake jewel on it. We started floating upward and a rainbow surrounded us, as it burst forth collapsing a globe of light around the mare in front of us. We floated back down, I started breathing heavily and simply passed out once I saw a bright light and a magnificent figure appear. (Twilight Pov) I looked at the unconcious male set against a wall in front of me while princess Celestia and princess Luna spoke to each other. "You say you just found him downstairs and he followed you the rest of the way. Something... Something feels weird about this, but, I... I feel like I've known him before. However, I've never met him before. I mean he jumped in front of me with no care for his own life. He even knew my name, and none of you told him. It, truly feels as if I've known him forever. This makes no sense at all." My friends nodded. Princess Luna came in from behind me and said, "he even seemed to know who I was. This is strange indeed. Unfortunately, we cannot stay here for much longer. I shall take him to the hospital. From that point I ask that you wait for his awakening and ask what he knows as he is an element of harmony as well, one thought to be lost as well." The princesses teleported all of us to the hospital and he was given a bed. I looked at his slightly tannish skin, his lack of a coat, the short brown hair on his head, remembered his brown eyes, the great amount of different pictures on his skin, how different his legs were and finally what I knew was a cutie mark, a green snake eating its tail surrounded by thorns. With this I knew that I had never seen him, never seen anything like him, but I knew him some how. The systems made their different noises as I thought. //-------------------------------------------------------// I dream of you //-------------------------------------------------------// I dream of you I looked around at the hall of memories built for my friends, long since lost. I look at their bodies crystalized upon their deaths. I looked to the love of my life. I remembered the pain my friends and I felt when we were told we couldn't have children. The pain of his death crushed me and I cursed my immortal form. His form so different than ours, but his heart so similar. "I would give everything to have them back," I said quietly. I finally just made a wish. 'Please just use all of the power available to allow me to meet them all again and be able to keep them. I want my true family with them again.' A grating voice filled my head, "powerful wish coinciding with another's fusing wishes... Granted. Restarting now. So long Twilight and see you again." Power burst throughout the world as it collapsed to a moment of true infinity. I woke up breathing heavy as confusion spread through my mind I felt the power flow for less than a second. All I could remember from that dream was Kyle and that grating voice saying, 'so long Twilight and see you again.' I quickly got dressed and ran to the hospital Kyle was at, too flustered to even think of teleporting. I slammed open the door o his room and saw him awake he looked at me and I felt a pulse within me. (Kyle Pov) Twilight rushed in the room and I looked at her, her beautiful lavender eyes met mine and I felt a pulse within me. I stood up and walked to her. "Why do I feel like I do? Why do I want to keep you? Why do I know you, but I don't? Why do I wish.... Why did I wish?" Twilight put her arms around me, while I held her close to me and felt more alive than I ever had, and answered with questions of her own, "why do I feel like I've lived a thousand lives with you? Why do I feel like I've lost you so many times? Why do I want to find a forever with you? Why do I know you, but I don't? Why do I wish.... Why did I wish?" Then, we said simultaneously, "who are we?" This is when we noticed princess Celestia and princess Luna were in the room hearing our interactions. They looked to us and Celestia asked, "what do you mean by all of this?" Then, she looked to Luna and said one thing, "is this what I think it is?" Twilight and I felt a pulse of energy between us and I could feel her heartbeat. "I believe so sister. Destined pair. Though I'm not certain. Tis something we'll have to pay attention to," Luna said. We finally let go of each other and stared at them. Twilight was the first to react, and asked, "princesses what do you mean by destined pair." Celestia took a slow breath and she wore a thoughtful expression. "Although more evidence is required it could be something wonderful or something devastating. However, the basics of it is that those involved share a intriquit and interweaving destiny. It is never something small, but as was said by my sister we are uncertain," she answered. Her face showed some small amounts of negativity and I felt like there was more, but, I didn't push it. Luna walked up to me and fidgeted around a bit. Finally, she looked at me and said, "we are both thankful and sorry for what occurred in the past night. You have proven to be strong of heart, but, please try to protect the life you have as well. If the magic last night hadn't healed you, you would have been either injured beyond belief or.. or just dead. So please stay alive." She put a hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eyes for a moment before turning around. The princesses teleported out of the room leaving us alone. We looked at each other thinking of what had just happened and what was said. The room was soon filled up by all of our friends and I got tackled hugged by Pinkie as sh shouted, " YAY!!" This knocked me over and hurt a bit. However, I could feel the tears against my black shirt and knew how scared she was of what could have been. Rarity quickly responded to the situation, "Pinkie, darling you really need to be careful." I picked Pinkie up, moved over to the hospital bed, sat her down on lap and hugged her tight. "It's perfectly fine Rarity," I said as pinky gripped me tighter an buried her face into my chest. As I looked at them girls around me I realized just how gorgeous they were. Twilight was the perfect expectation of a cute school girl with her light blue, short sleeved, button up shirt with a little, cute, dark lavender bow tie, a simple indigo skirt, knee socks, and a pair of buckle shoes. Rarity oozed upper class grace and determination with a short sleeved silver button up shirt, diamond shaped indigo earrings, a pair of red glasses, a short indigo skirt with silver accents, and ampair of indigo heels. Fluttershy showed a natural and serene beauty and wore a long sleeved, green, wool sweater with a red heart on her chest, and a short, pink skirt. Rainbow was wearing a pair of goggles on her head, a very tight one piece outfit that was dark blue with yellow lightning bolt accents and left very little to the imagination. Applejack wore a long sleeved, plaid, button up, shirt with the sleeves rolled up, covering up a white tank top, a cowboy hat, a pair of torn jeans, and a pair of cowboy boots showing the beauty of a working country girl. Pinkie was like a cute eighties party girl and wore a blue shirt that hung off of one shoulder and had a print of multi colored balloons on it, a pink, frilled short skirt with black leggings under it and a pair of black beat up sneakers with pink accents. I looked around and saw the same expression amongst them and knew we were thinking the same thing. "So, why do I feel like I know all of you and why do you feel a comforting sensation seeing all of you? Also, where am I?" I asked. Twilight took a breath and answered, "I don't know the answer I the first questions, but I can say that you are an element of harmony, the element of forgiveness. I'm the element of magic, Pinkie is the element of laughter, Applejack is the element of honesty, Rainbow is the element of loyalty, Rarity is the element of generosity, and Fluttershy is the element of kindness. This is Ponyville, in the monarchy of Equestria." "You all seriously are the embodiment of those," I said with a chuckle. "I still don't know what the hell an element of harmony is, but I do know one thing. We sure as hell ain't in Kansas anymore?" I continued. The girls around me just stared at me with blank expressions, save for Pinkie, who laughed and said, "you don't even have Toto here." I laughed, confused at how she even got the joke. This is when Pinkie seemed to remember something and jumped off of me and rushed out. I looked around and they just giggled. "I'm not gonna ask," was all I said. "It's better not tah ask round Pinkie, just what she does," Applejack stated. "Shoot I gotta go, them apples ain't gonna harvest themselves." She finished as she left as well. Fluttershy kinda blushed and just left silently. "As much as I would like to stay, I have some orders to fill," Rarity said as she bid me adieu. "Dude you were awesome last night when you jumped in front of Twilight, but we'll have to talk later. I've gotta prepare a late shower for today. See ya man," Rainbow said as she gave me a fist bump, then flew off. I stood up, stretched out and put on my hoodie. Twilight took me to the lobby where I was discharged and given my stuff back. We walked to her house, which was also a tree and a library, 'heh, treebary,' I thought. I got a lot of looks walking through the little town. Most were just curiosity and some were confusion, but some were looks of disgust. We went in and I saw a small reptile cleaning up, "are you a... Dragon?" I asked him. He looked to me and smiled, "yup, my name's Spike. You must be Kyle, thank you for saving Twilight," he answered. "Yeah, no problem, still wondering what happened," I stated. "Spike, I think Rarity may need your help, she is a bit behind," Twilight said. Spike got a loopy smile and nodded as he left the building. Twilight sat down on a chair and took a breath. "There's something in need to speak to you about... Last night I had a dream... You were in it... I know that... But, the only thing I really remember is that and... And a grating voice saying... So long and see you again... I feel like this is less of a dream and... More of... More of a memory," she said slowly. This brought back what happened yesterday to the front of my mind and a grating voice filled the room, "primary conditions met. Welcome Kyle, welcome Twilight. First physical change unlocked, Kyle now has the strength and durability of an earth pony. Twilight is now compatible with Kyle." A jolt of energy shot through me, causing a huge amount of pain. However, I withstood it and stood back up and some of the memories of the voice came back to me. Not what it said just how it sounded. Twilight and I stared at each other for a moment before I stated, "I've heard that voice as well." We walked out and I lit up a cigarette. I explained my day before I met up with them to her and we both said, "I dreamt of you."
