The moon rises right after the sun sets. DemiRarity has sent Jasper and Wilted to DemiShy's. DemiRarity looks to her side and sees a blade. She looks next to it and sees a photo of her and DemiBelle. The memories all start replaying in her head. That same day it happened. The same day she saw her very own sister not on the ground.
Flashback
DemiRarity knocks on her sister's door. She had fought with her five minutes before.
"Darling! I am so sorry... I did not mean to get so frustrated! I just... it just came over me! I just wanted the dress to be perfect, but now I realize that I could have handled the situation much better..." DemiRarity says ashamed of herself.
There is no response. DemiRarity continues apologizing and waiting for a response. She becomes slightly concerned but keeps her calm.
"DemiBelle?" DemiRarity asks worried. She just assumes her sister wants alone time.
DemiRarity walks away to the kitchen. She sees her baby dragon, Jasper, crawling towards her. DemiRarity picks him up and smiles. She calms down a bit but a part of her tells her to tell her parents to check on her sister. DemiRarity tries to keep herself busy by playing with the baby Jasper, but she cannot handle the silence anymore. She runs up to her parents and tells them to check up on her sibling immediately. DemiRarity's father stays with DemiRarity as her mother trots into the hallway into DemiBelle's room. DemiRarity hears a door creak open. Screams are immediately heard. DemiRarity's father lets go of DemiRarity and runs into the bedroom. Screams are heard again and soon sobbing. DemiRarity sets Jasper on the couch and slowly trots into the hallway. Her eyes widen at the sight. She sees her parents sobbing on the floor and what she was in the room would forever haunt her. She saw her sister. Hanging from the ceiling. The rope around her neck.
Flashback ends
DemiRarity starts to trot over to her dresser. She pulls out a blade and rolls her up her fake coat. Her eyes tear up as the blade is right above her hoof. She looks at all the cuts on her hoof. She is hesitant when she realizes something. This is not what her sister wants. This is not the state any of her friends and family would want to see her in. She throws the blade and start to cry the night away. A part of her relieved she did not cut herself. Another guilty for no checking up on her sister to avoid it.

The sun rises in the east. The royal Princess Sunrise has made a new day come. She roams down into her throne room and starts writing a letter. She then sends the letter to her star student.
''I do hope she has awakened at this beautiful sight of a new morning.'' She said as she waited patiently on her throne. For a princess, she is surprisingly very patient. I guess waiting for every pony to wake up from the sun rising has boosted her patience an awful lot.

The eyes of a unicorn open wide. She is awakened by the voice of her dragon son calling her name. He has been calling and trying to wake her up for the past five minutes. She groans and hopes for her son to leave her alone. She even hopes that she can stay asleep.
''DemiTwi! DemiTwi!! Wake up! The princess has sent a note! Wake up! I told you not to be studying so late!'' He says yelling and shouting. He then grabs a bottle of cold water and splashes it on her face.
'' AHHHH!! What the hay was that for?! You're lucky I'm nice enough to not ground you for that!!'' DemiTwi says while wiping the water off her face.
''Sorry, grumpy pants, but Princess Sunrise has sent a note! I figured you'd want to read it because you are her star-,'' He is soon cut off by DemiTwi snatching the letter from his claw.
''Ahem! Dear DemiTwi Sparkle, I request for you to come visit me at the castle for an important discussion.'' Having been sent a letter from the best mentor of all of DemiQuestria she bursts into excitement and even almost faints.
''You overreact too much sometimes you know?'' DemiSpike comments while hiding behind pillows to avoid random magic beams DemiTwi might shoot out due to her overreacting excitement.
''Do you not know what this means?? Princess DemiCelestia wants me to visit her!! ME!! She could have asked somepony else to visit her!! Like SunWalker Shine!!''
"You do realize SunWalker Shine moved to DemiVille two years ago, right?''
''I was just talking to her yesterday though?'' DemiTwi says confused.
DemiSpike sighs and then looks at DemiTwi a bit annoyed.
''You do realize you were talking to her twin sister, right?''
''That was her twin sister? I did not know she had a twin sister!'' She says a bit shocked.
''Well maybe if you had not been spending your time on lame-ass books and smelled a bit of O2 from the outside world maybe you would look at her and realize it's not her but her twin sister,'' DemiSpike says.
''Do not say that word, young man! Let's get ready to visit Princess Sunrise! I hope it is about my science project! Maybe even about how excellent I am doing being her top-'' She is interrupted by DemiSpike.
''Top star student. We know! Why do we even have to get ready?? We pretty much just have to visit her.'' DemiSpike says not wanting to dress up or anything.
''Because she is the princess DemiSpike! Just put on a fancy suit! It is not like you are going to die or anything!!'' DemiTwi says annoyed by DemiSpike's complaints.
''Fine!! I will put on a fancy suit!! Just... do not make me wear the stupid top hat!'' DemiSpike says pissed off at DemiTwi.
''Okay okay! Just go and put on that suit! I will be taking all my notes, pencils, journals, and most importantly... notes!'' DemiTwi says.
''You said notes twice!'' DemiSpike says putting on his suit. He seems to have put it on quickly... perhaps he knew this moment would come.
''Which highlights that notes are very important, DemiSpike.''
''Yeah, whatever! I am all ready now!'' DemiSpike hops on DemiTwi's back.
''Finally! Let's go!!''
DemiTwi gallops out of her house and straight to the castle. Some ponies even wave or say hi to her. But, knowing how DemiTwi is... she did not respond to them.
''You need to learn some manners... even friendship to be honest. I mean... are you not an alternate version of Twilight Sparkle but just added the name Demi to make an official character?''
''Wait what?'' DemiTwi says confused... what did he just say?
''Hm?'' DemiTwi responds.
''Never mind... forget it.''
The two soon reach Princess Sunrise's castle. There are guards everywhere guarding the place. Surprisingly there are guards in front of the gates. Usually, there are no guards there. DemiSpike being the stubborn one he is comments on how long they took to reach the castle.
''That took so long!! Finally, we are here!!''
''Yeah yeah, whatever!!''
The guard looks at the two. He lets them in with no explanation at all. Maybe he knew that they were called by the princess? Who cares.
''Thank you,'' DemiTwi says to the guard. It was obvious she said this so that DemiSpike would not comment.
The two walk into the castle's front lawn and into the castle. DemiTwi is excited while DemiSpike is just tired. DemiTwi makes it into the throne room and sees her mentor!
''Princess DemiCelestia!! You called me??'' DemiTwi says with a gentle tone.
''My faithful student DemiTwi.. oh, how happy I am to see you... I have to talk to you about something... I see you two have come very neatly dressed too?''
''Yes! DemiSpike loves where his little fancy suit! Right, DemiSpike?''
''Right,'' DemiSpike says sounding a bit annoyed at DemiTwi. It's obvious he's forcing his voice.
''DemiTwi... Come with me. DemiSpike you can stay here...'' She says with a gentle tone.
''Alright!''
Princess Sunrise leads DemiTwi to the hallway. the hallway is very decorated with a bunch of royal stuff. Decorated as any other royal castle would be decorated.
''What did you call me for Princess?'' DemiTwi asks. She is very curious about what this can be about due to the fact this does not seem like a conversation about her projects.
''DemiTwi.. what do you think about friendship?'' She asks DemiTwi. She looks forward to her response.
''Friendship? Pfft! It's just a waste of time!! Who needs friendship? I have everything I need! I have my studies... You... and company!'' DemiTwi says laughing. How could she say such a thing?
''DemiTwi.. Friendship is not all bad. It's good and great to have friends! Sometimes... It's what boosts you up in life.''
''Don't be silly! It is for sure a waste! Unless you can prove otherwise!''
DemiCelestia sighs... she is shocked at this reaction. She did not expect such a reaction from her top student. Especially the one who she sees as her prized pupil. She then illuminates her horn and sends a message/letter to someone.
''Okay... You will be going to DemiVille to make some friends... Here is a list of ponies to meet. Someone will be waiting for you outside the castle gates.''
''What?! Princess Sunrise! You cannot possibly be wanting for me to waste my time on this friendship stuff!'' DemiTwi is shocked at what Princess Sunrise wants her to do.
''This is your assignment... maybe you can even thank me later... I will see you when you finish the list of ponies...''
DemiTwi groans and stomps her way out of the hallway. She picks up DemiSpike and walks outside the castle.
''What happened!? What's with the angry face?!'' DemiSpike is caught off guard by the sudden pickup and stomping out of the castle.
''DemiCelestia wants me to make some friends... and apparently, it's an assignment!'' She groans after saying that in an angry tone.
''That's awesome! Finally, you will have a real friend rather than the illustrations in books!'' DemiSpike says.
''I swear you are so-'' DemiTwi is cut off as soon as she exits through the castle doors.
''Hey! What's your name?' My name is Brensle!!'' A new friend Brensle has arrived...

DemiTwi Sparkle and DemiSpike are off on a new adventure! But will things go well for them is the question.

Are Friends A Want or Need?
As the adventure goes on. New friends arrive on the way. Will DemiTwi allow these Allys to side with her in this adventure? Will she push them off to the side and be independent going against what Princess DemiCelestia said?
''What's your name?'' Brensle says excitedly. It is not really... easy to tell what species they were... was this species ever seen in all of DemiQuestria? DemiTwi has never seen this species...
''MONSTER!!! AHHHHHHH!!!" DemiTwi lifts a tree with her magic and starts hitting Brensle with it. "QUICK!! RUN DEMISPIKE!!"
DemiTwi and DemiSpike run away from the poor plusle. Was it really necessary to hit him with a tree?
"Great... Riddance...'' The poor plusle said. It's a miracle he isn't even dead. Not that DemiTwi meant to kill him, back to our two friends. DemiTwi and DemiSpike make a stop at the train station. Lots and I mean lots of ponies were there. It's a surprise to DemiTwi. Were they also heading to PonyVille? DemiSpike suddenly speaks up.
"Did you have to hit Brensle with a tree? They didn't do anything! All they wanted to do was say hi! You could have finally made a new friend instead of the characters in books!"
''Enough!! Did you not see that?! That was not a pony or any other creature any pony had seen! I have not even read about them! I haven't even heard about them!" DemiTwi and DemiSpike get on the train as DemiTwi continues to rant about what DemiSpike had just told her.
"THAT WASN'T EVEN A PONY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS NOT A MONSTER?!" DemiTwi's yelling and shouting silences the whole train. Every Pony stare at her in either fear or confusion. Some even look concerned in a way.
"Uhm... sorry..."
"Uhm, that's kind of speciest'' DemiSpike says confused.
DemiSpike continues speaking, ''Wait but how do you know if he was even going to attack for real?! He could have been your first friend! You could have even asked what he is of his species! Gosh... now he is very injured... You didn't even offer to get help after!" DemiSpike says frustrated. He must have really wanted DemiTwi to have made a new friend.
The whole ride to Ponyville was quiet. All the ponies whisper to each other and look at DemiTwi. How could such a simple yelling make every pony so concerned? Was it because she said "That wasn't even a pony" or was it because of her yelling at her baby dragon itself? DemiTwi and DemiSpike did not even bother to ask the ponies to mind their business or even look at them. The train stops at the Ponyville train station.
"We are finally here! Come on DemiTwi!" Eagerly, the baby dragon jumps off the train and onto the plank floor. He looks back only to see a piece of paper that has a poorly drawn DemiTwi on it.
"Seriously DemiTwi?"
"Wow! Such a nice train station! I cannot wait to explore!" DemiTwi says in a fake happy voice. She is hiding behind a tree hoping DemiSpike would fall for it knowing it is very unlikely.
"I see you DemiTwi. Come on stop being such a baby and hurry up! The Princess sent you here to make friends! You wouldn't want to disappoint your mentor and go against what she said would you?"
"Ugh! Fine! Let's just go and get this over with..."
"Cheer up! After you make at least one friend you can go to the library! The princess got you a home with tons of books anyway!"
"You know what DemiSpike? You're right. I can go as fast as I can, ask a pony to be friends, and go straight to the library! It will be so quick you won't even remember meeting that pony!" DemiTwi says suddenly being in a good mood.
"But... That is not how you make friends! You have to get to know them and then be friends! It's how it works!" DemiSpike says.
"The princess never told me how to make friends in a specific way! All I have to do is ask and we will be "friends". That is what she said right? Yep! She did! I am always right!"
"Funny joke. But no DemiTwi-" He is cut off when DemiTwi carries him and runs away to the village.
"Seriously?!" DemiSpike says frustrated by how he was interrupted.
"Yeah. Now... Who to be friends with-" As soon as DemiTwi says that. A pony immediately runs up to her.
The pony stands still. staring at her eye to eye. She does not say a word. DemiTwi and the pony just look at each other. DemiTwi being confused by this waves, but nothing seems to happen. DemiSpike hops off DemiTwi's back and just observes the pony being confused too.
"Uhmmm... Hello?" DemiTwi says very confused.
The pony lets out a huge gasp. The pony somehow floats in the air and flies away. How could have they floated in the air and flown away? They don't even have wings.
"And... there she goes. Bye, new friend!!" DemiSpike waves. He looks around wondering where she even went.
"Huh, where did she even run off to?"
"Who cares! I did not even get to make a friend, and now I have to research how an earth pony managed to fly!! What kind of magic haywire is that?!"
"Earth ponies don't have magic!" DemiSpike says.
"Whatever! Let's just go-" DemiTwi is cut off by a familiar voice. Brensle walks up to them frustrated.
"Why did you do that?! I only said Hi!!! Did I burn down a whole hospital in front of you?! Did I pull out a knife? Oh, I bet you will freak out if I pull out a rock and aim it at you!" Brensle picks up a rock and does exactly what he said.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" DemiTwi starts screaming. She lifts a whole house with her magic and drops it on Brensle.
"Come on DemiSpike!!! Run! Every pony for themself!!!" She carries DemiSpike and runs away again.
The two leave the poor plusle under the house until he manages to squish himself out. He just lays there obviously covered in bruises. It's a miracle he has not even broken a bone or even lost a limb.
"Hey! Who moved my house? Is Ponyville getting a reconstruction?" The pony who was inside the house says.
DemiTwi and DemiSpike run across PonyVille. DemiSpike is very frustrated with DemiTwi now refusing to even talk to her.
"Look. He aimed a rock at me! How do you know he was not going to murder us and drag our bodies away with that rock??" DemiTwi tells DemiSpike. She knows he is frustrated.
"It was a rock! You dropped a whole not one-story but two-story house on them! He must be dead at this point if not then full-on paralyzed!"
"Valid point."
The two stumble upon a very fancy and beautiful boutique. They could hear a pony singing and humming from the inside.
"Aha! Now that's what I am talking about! A new friend to make! Let's knock on the door! And hopefully, it's a pony-"
"And what's wrong if they are not a pony?"
"Stop, drop, and roll."
"Wait that does not even make any sense!" DemiSpike debates.
"It makes sense to me!" DemiTwi heads over to the door and knocks. A pony with a very stylized mane and makeup opens the door.
"Oh, hello darling! My name is DemiRarity! How may I help you on this very lovely day?" DemiRarity says in a rather fancy tone.
"Oh hello! My name is DemiTwi Sparkle! Do you wanna-" She hesitates to say it. But she has to if she wants to be at the library reading, "be... friends?" She has finally managed to say it! Now she can be back at the library! Right?
"Oh darling of course!! Now! Every time I meet a new friend... they get a free style unlocked!" DemiRarity says.
"Ooh! DemiTwi! You get a free style! I do not know what that means... but it sounds exciting!!" DemiSpike says excitedly.
"Urgh... why are you awake this early Mom? Ooo! Is DemiBel- Oh! Another dragon? Neat!" DemiRarity's dragon comes into view.
"Great..." DemiTwi says.
"Oh wow... I.." DemiSpike stares at the other dragon. Ooh... Spill the tea!
"Come on darling!" DemiRarity pulls DemiTwi inside, "Come on you too!" she tells DemiSpike.
"Uhm... Its... DemiSpike.."
"Oh! Well, come on DemiSpike!" DemiRarity says happily.
"Yeah! Come on in! I wanna get to know you! I am Jasper! Jasper Scaly!" He grabs DemiSpike's claw and brings him in.
DemiRarity is currently spraying DemiTwi's mane in who knows what hair spray and is designing her mane in different styles. DemiTwi is regretting ever going into the boutique.
"So darling! Where are you from? I have never seen you before! Are you from Manehatten? Canterlot? Where!"
"Canterlot," DemiTwi says annoyed.
"Oh!! You are from Canterlot?! Oh, darling I have always wanted to go there! Oh... how fabulous all the clothing is! All the styles... all the fashion!"
"And getting slammed by a tree?!" Brensle comes in stomping. "And wait! I am not gonna harm you!
"And... I guess slamming plusles with trees?'' DemiRarity says confused.
"You know what this creature is?!" DemiTwi says shocked.
"Why yes darling! These creatures are so cute! They are from the hit game Pokémon!" DemiRarity says in a nerdy accent.
"Look... I do no harm! Why don't we just get to know each other better?" Brensle asks calmly to not alert DemiTwi.
"Okay... Fine... hah. maybe the princess won't force me into this friendship thing if I make two friends!" DemiTwi says to herself.
"Darling stay still! Your mane will be forever stuck like this if you mess me up!" DemiRarity says whining a bit.
Meanwhile, Jasper and DemiSpike are sitting on a couch on the side. The two are just chit-chatting.
"So! How are you doing?" Jasper asks DemiSpike. He has a light smile.
"Oh! Me? I... I am doing great! Hehe. One question! You do not find it weird that I am... Pink?"
"What! No! Pink is awesome! It's a neat color! I think it suits you! It's a neat color if you ask me again."
"Oh? Really?.. Thanks! Haha... Your orange color matches you to..." DemiSpike says shyly.
"DemiSpike! Come on! We are leaving! We have somewhere to be!" DemiTwi yells.
"Oh! Okay!"
DemiTwi and DemiSpike leave. DemiRarity guides them to the front door. Brensle stays behind trying and observing all the makeup. Jasper gets up and stands behind DemiRarity.
"I'll see you later darling! Safe trip! Do not stay outside for too long! Something is going on but eh! Probably nothing!" DemiRarity says reassuring.
"Right. Well, bye-bye DemiRarity." DemiTwi starts to walk away, "Come on DemiSpike!"
"Hehe! You should go now! Bye DemiSpike!" Jasper waves goodbye.
"Hehe... Bye!" He waves goodbye and turns around to follow DemiTwi.
"That was not so bad, was it?" DemiTwi says.
"No... It wasn't. Hehe.." He thinks about his conversation with Jasper. He starts to blush a bit, "Not at all. Also, when are we gonna visit back?"
Somewhere dark and mysterious…
“You think you are safe…. Don’t you worry. I will be interfering. Soon. When my power replenishes. I will win this battle. that right?” The mysterious pony says.
The pony continues talking to themself.
“Don’t worry DemiTwi you aren’t safe for long.”

More Obstacles Along The Way
The two walk through DemiVille. DemiTwi is trying to talk to DemiSpike. She notices that DemiSpike is just agreeing and saying yes only because he is not fully paying attention.
"DemiSpike!! Are you even listening to me??" DemiTwi says in a loud voice to snap DemiSpike out of their daydreaming.
"What?! Huh? Is he her- Oh! Sorry, DemiTwi.. I was just thinking about some drag- I mean... Something!! I was thinking about how nice the weather is! Such lovely weather."
Despite DemiSpike's lying and saying he was just thinking about "something". DemiTwi knew he was lying right on the spot. What was he thinking about? Well, she did not know but she for sure did know it was just not something.
"You are thinking about the dragon aren't y-"
Suddenly she is struck by lighting. Right after the lighting has struck her laughing is heard. A light blue pony with a glittery rainbow mane is on top of the cloud laughing. She was a pegasus, little lighting bolts on her face. Mane looks bright rainbow with white sparkles almost making it look like candy. She flew down and looked at DemiTwi who was on the floor burnt to a crisp laughing as if she had just seen the funniest thing ever. She stopped laughing when she looked at DemiSpike.
"Do not do this at home." The pegasus tells DemiSpike. The pegasus looks back at DemiTwi and immediately bursts into laughter.
DemiTwi looks up only to find the pegasus laughing over her. This immediately infuriates her, but she does not want to do anything bad in front of DemiSpike, so she gets up, fixes her mane, stands up straight, and clears her throat.
"Ahem. I am DemiTwi Sparkle. What you did was very funny. What is your name?"
"Oh! Me? Ahaha! I am the coolest, most awesome, and amazing pony in this town!"
DemiSpike decides to speak up, "That did not answer her question ma'am..."
"Who ya callin' ma'am? I am DemiDash! DemiDash Dasher! Nice to meet you little dragon! And nice to meet you DemiTwi Sparkle! Sorry about the lighting strike. I seriously did not mean to strike you like that! But I could not help but laugh at how you fell face-first onto the floor burnt like a crisp! You fell as if there was no tomorrow! Hahah! Oh... Too funny." DemiDash says.
These words seriously got DemiTwi mad, but she resists the urge to just strike DemiDash with a spell and leave her at it until some pony comes in and unfreezes her. DemiTwi just sighs and looks at DemiDash.
"Yeah yeah.. just do not do it again! Now. If you excuse me. I have somewhere to be. I am not going to get struck by lightning by a pony who is not responsible enough!"
"Fine fine... also. Does your dragon usually zone out like that? It is a bit scary!" DemiDash starts to giggle a bit.
DemiSpike just stares at the ground. He is very zoned out or daydreaming. DemiTwi nor DemiDash knew what he was thinking about, but DemiTwi had a hint on what it was for sure. DemiTwi just walks up to DemiSpike and puts him on her back.
"Well. I better get going! Bye!"
DemiTwi immediately starts running off. She did not even let DemiDash say goodbye or anything. Nor did she ask her to be friends. She seriously did not want to get struck by lightning or want any more obstacles crossing her path in getting to her home and reading. She also did not want to be home so late, so she had a lot of time for reading and research. A thought then came to her mind. If she just explored a little bit... she could maybe find a library! Yes! A library so she can read all the books there?! What a dream come true!
"Ahah! DemiSpike! We are going on a quest! To find the library!" DemiTwi says in a determined voice.
"Huh? Oh... another adventure? To the boutique?"
"No! To find the library!"
"Oh fine.. maybe after we can go to the boutique!" DemiSpike says hoping they could go to the boutique.
DemiTwi runs around DemiVille hoping to find the library. She might have even run off too far because she has run into a farm! The farm was named "Sweet Apple Acres" DemiTwi sighs and then turns around. She starts to walk away until a voice is heard!
"Well, hello there Sugarcube! How meh ah help ya?" A pony approaches her.
Her mane has braids, the top part of her mane into a bun, and the rest loose. She wore a maroon and white shirt. it was cube patterned. This kind of gave DemiTwi and DemiSpike country vibes. The pony's hooves seem to have mud stains. The coat seems to be permanently stained with mud on her hooves. The pony had freckles and a nice tail also seeming to be braided at the end.
"Well... hello! I am... DemiTwi Sparkle! This is DemiSpike! My, I guess you can call, son!"
"Well, hello there DemiTwi! Hello to you to sugarcube! I am DemiJack! DemiJack Apple! This here is mah farm! Sweet Apple Acres! Haha! Oh wow! You have got to check out my farm! Ah, might even let you have a free apple while ahm at it! Let's go, friend!"
"Wait- I kind of have somewhere to be" DemiTwi is dragged into the Sweet Apple Acres territory and the farm.
The tour took what felt like hours. How could such a small farm have so much to offer?! DemiTwi and DemiSpike leave the farm with one basket full of apple desserts.
"Yum! This is like a whole month without needing to go grocery shopping! Is that Apple Pie?!" DemiSpike says happily, he must have snapped out of his daydreaming not long before they left.
"Ughh! We are still low on time! I just want to go home and research! Too many obstacles! No time to waste! Let's go!" She carries the basket and DemiSpike with her magic.
DemiTwi then once again runs out back into where she started in DemiVille. This time she straight on runs into her house finally home and can research since her home is a library. DemiSpike hops off her back and then looks around. DemiTwi is shocked in amazement looking everywhere. There were so many books! So much to read! So little time! She goes to grab a book when the doorbell rings.
"Huh? Mail? Why the hay would I get mail when I just got here? Well... moved in... Princess DemiCelestia did say she wanted me to stay here for my understanding of friendship... which is complete bulls-" The doorbell rings again.
"You should probably get that! Would not want to keep the pony waiting outside any longer huh?" DemiSpike reminds DemiTwi.
"Fine fine." She goes to the front door and opens it.
There a pony stands. Her mane is not long but not short ending in four curls. Her coat is a light yellow and beneath her mane are her bright purple eyes.
"H-hi..." She says shyly. Her voice was so quiet and low you would need dead silence to hear it. Luckily, DemiTwi heard her.
"Hi? Uhm.." DemiTwi stood there awkwardly not knowing what to say. The first thing that came to mind was asking her for her name.
"What's your name?" DemiTwi smiled awkwardly.
"My name... is..." She spoke so low it was impossible to hear anything she said.
"I'm sorry. What was that?"
"My name is... Demi..."
"A little louder please?" DemiTwi said.
The poor pony whines in fear and shyness. DemiTwi and the pony both stand there awkwardly not knowing what to do or say.
"Well, I see you have come to give me my book which I did not know I dropped on the way here... So, you should be on your way home before it gets dark right? I do not think you want to be outside in the dark! Where... It is scary am I right?" DemiTwi says grabbing the book from the shy pony.
"You could have at least said thank you DemiTwi," DemiSpike says.
"A baby dragon!!!" The pony rushes in knocking DemiTwi over. She immediately runs up to DemiSpike and starts petting him.
"Oh, are you not the cutest thing alive? I have never seen a baby dragon before! Who's a cute little dragon... you are! Yes, you are!"
"Ahem..." DemiTwi gets up, "His name is DemiSpike."
"Sorry... my name is DemiShy! Sorry for being so shy... I am not very good at socializing with other ponies... especially when it is so awkward to the point all you can do is look at each other weirdly." DemiShy says.
"Well, DemiShy, I think you should be on your way. Right, DemiSpike?"
"Whatever," DemiSpike says holding his Mrs. Fluffs teddy bear.
"Awh... okay... also... want to be friends DemiTwi?" DemiShy asks shyly.
"Fine! Just go!" DemiTwi says already on her last straw on how everything has been pushing her back from studying.
DemiShy walks through the front door and as soon as she does DemiTwi slams the door shut. DemiTwi then sighs and gets out the book she was going to read.
The rest of the time was quiet. DemiSpike was just playing with his Mrs. Fluffs doll while DemiTwi was reading. She then came upon a special and rather interesting book.
"The elements of Harmony? I have heard of those before! I heard Princess DemiCelestia used those to defeat the villain during DemiQuestrias Bloody Night Massacre!"
DemiTwi continues to read the book. She is very interested in learning what the elements were and how they worked! She stumbled upon a ripped page. The page was supposed to consist of all six elements, but the sixth element was ripped out. The only elements that show are the five surrounding the sixth element which is not visible at the moment.
"That's weird... it's as if some pony did not want me to figure out how the sixth element works! This book does not even show the names of the elements! This is a scam! Oh, I know!! DemiSpike! Come over here!" DemiTwi says.
"Hm?"
DemiSpike gets up and walks over to DemiTwi. He looks at both DemiTwi and the book in confusion.
"What do you need DemiTwi? Is it something important?" DemiSpike asks
"Send a note to Princess DemiCelestia please!"
"Alright!"
"Ahem.." DemiTwi clears her throat
Dear Princess Sunrise, At the library that you got me I did some research through some books, and I have found a rather unique book. The book has some information about these gems! They are called The Elements of Harmony. These elements do not have a name. When looking through the book I have found out there are exactly six elements, but some pony had attempted to hide what the sixth element looks like by making a hole through the book! I suspect the pony who did this is no friend but rather a foe. Sure, it might not seem serious but there are a lot of possibilities as to whether they did this on purpose or not. As I said these elements do not have a name, but I am willing to continue my research into what these elements are and what they do. What I do know is that you probably have some information about them because you used them to defeat the one responsible for the Demiquestrias Bloody Night Massacre. Maybe you have some information?

"Should I send it now?" DemiSpike asks.
"Of course!! I need all the information I can get about this!! Some pony or something ripped out the sixth element of this page!! This is very serious!!" DemiTwi reminds
"Okay okay!!" DemiSpike sends the scroll to Princess DemiCelestia.
"Now we await her response! Just hoping no pony e-" As soon as DemiTwi was hoping for no other pony to get in her way the doorbell rang.
"Ughh!! Who could that be this time?!" DemiTwi walks over to the door and opens it.
Five ponies and a dragon stand in the doorway. DemiTwi is in shock.
"Well, how ya doin' DemiTwi! Ah am glad ya invited us over! DemiPie said so!" DemiJack says greeting DemiTwi
"Oh yes, darling! I also heard you have the new DemiStation 4!" DemiRarity says being a huge video game nerd.
"Well... Hehe... I was just about to leave but staying over would not hurt..." DemiShy says.
"This is such an awesome library! I love what you have done with the place!" DemiDash says.
As every pony scatters around the place. Jasper immediately goes to DemiSpike. The two talk while DemiPie hops to DemiTwi.
"EEE!!! Sorry for running away earlier I saw you in DemiVille aka here which is also referred to as Ponyville! I had never seen you before meaning you were new and a new pony I had never met before oh my DemiCelestia how could that be, so I set up a little party for you and us! Your besties for lifers!! Is this not exciting DemiTwily Sprinkle?! My name is DemiPie!!" DemiPie says excitingly.
"It's DemiTwi... and I am trying to study!! Why can I not have any peace to myself...."
"DemiTwi! The princess has sent a letter back!" DemiSpike says running up to DemiTwi and handing over the scroll. He runs back to Jasper.
"Finally!!" She starts reading the scroll. All the other ponies were now interested and listening. The two dragons do not pay attention to talking.
These are the elements of harmony. They do indeed have names as I remember. These elements are Loyalty, Generosity, Honesty, Laughter, Kindness, and the sixth element which is a mystery... Is magic. I do not know who or what could be hiding the appearance of the sixth element, but I sense it is not for a good purpose. My dear faithful student. I do not want you to worry about that. I want you to make friends... From your mentor, Princess DemiCelestia
"Ughhh!! This does not help! Sure, she gave me the name but saying something bad is taking place does not help one bit!!"
"It's alright DemiTwi! Besides, you do not have to worry about making friends now! You have six of em!" DemiRarity says.
"Yeah... We are your best friends!" DemiShy says shyly.
"Wait a minute." DemiJack stops them from talking.
"Are you seeing what I am seeing?" DemiDash asks.
"Why is there another DemiShy?" DemiPie says.
DemiTwi turns to DemiShy. There right next to her was a clone. The clone smiled as blood dripped down their eyes. Their smile showed their yellow teeth which is covered with dry blood. Every pony stared in fear as the clone just stared back at DemiTwi.
My Little Demi: Friendship Is Magic (A My Little Pony AU)
The "pony" and DemiTwi stare back at each other. DemiTwi is breathing heavily not knowing what to do. The other ponies and two dragons are in shock.
"G-get... away from me.." DemiTwi manages to say as "DemiShy'' slowly walks up to her.
The pony charges at DemiTwi and pushes her to the ground. DemiJack bucks the pony in the head causing a little bit of blood to drip on the floor.
"What in tarnation?!" DemiJack says
The pony gets back up and attacks DemiJack. DemiJack grunts and yells for the pony to let them go. DemiRarity and DemiDash try to grab the pony and get them off DemiJack. The pony bites DemiDash's hoof causing DemiDash to scream in pain. Blood drips down the pony's mouth.
"FUCK!! AHHH!!!" DemiDash screams and yells.
DemiShy grabs a pair of scissors and stabs it through the pony's neck. The pony yells and screams in agony as they lay on the floor bleeding. They slowly go quiet, and their disguise fades off. They were a changeling. Every pony stares in shock. Jasper stood in front of DemiSpike making sure he would not be harmed.
The room was dead silent. Blood all over where the changeling lays. No pony knew what to say. No pony knew what to do. DemiSpike then receives a letter from the Princess... Or... who they thought was sending the letter.
"Let me see that!" DemiTwi says.
DemiSpike hands her the letter. The letter read,
DemiTwi! It is me! Brensle! Me and the princess need your help. Something is wrong! We do not have much time! Come to Canterlot! Fast! We need you!! Be careful of who you trust!
"Is it the princess?" DemiPie says. What sent a chill down DemiTwi's spine was how non-energetic she was. For once... DemiTwi felt... scared.
Suddenly, the outside was filled with screams of terror. DemiSpike curls up into a ball. He seems he want to start crying in fear. All the screams were enough to make even a grown stallion scared. Jasper tugs him and looks around. He seems determined to not let anything happen to him. DemiShy looks around scared. DemiDash and DemiJack look at each other not knowing what to do. DemiRarity and DemiPie look at DemiTwi.
"What do we do?" DemiRarity asks.
DemiTwi looks at all of them. She closes her eyes and gains a boost of bravery. She puts on her bag and looks back at them.
"We have to go to the castle. Now! Everypony! Follow me! We have to get to the train station!" DemiTwi says determined. She is not about to let down all of them.
DemiTwi leads them to the front door. Every pony and dragon follows. DemiTwi opens the front door to see... what will forever traumatize them. Ponies were running around in fear. Some carry their harmed loved ones. Some just... what they hope to be unconscious on the floor. Luckily the unicorns are smart enough to use magic to kill the changelings. Some Pegasi are brave enough to not go down without a fight including the earth ponies.
"We have to go!! Now!!" DemiJack yells.
The group starts making their way to the train station. Suddenly... A group of changelings appear in front of them. The group looks at each other in fear.
"Oh no... there's a whole group of them!" DemiShy says frightened.
"DemiTwi?" DemiPie says slowly turning to DemiTwi.
"Darling, what do we do?" DemiRarity asks.
DemiTwi thinks for a bit. When all hope seems lost, she suddenly gets an idea.
"Split up!" As soon as she says that the changelings start running towards them.
The group split up into four groups. One group has DemiPie and DemiRarity run through between two houses attempting to make it to the station to possibly meet up with the others. Some of the changelings give a great chase.
"Darling! I have an idea! You got your super party cannon ready!?" DemiRarity says.
"Oh, ho ho! I love where you're going with this!" DemiPie stops running and turns around to the changelings.
"Who's the birthday boy?! Oh! If you are the birthday boy reader, I wish you a happy birthday!" She pulls out her party cannon out of nowhere and blasts it!
The changelings seem to be stunned by DemiPie's attack. DemiRarity runs beside DemiPie and charges her horn. She suddenly uses a huge blast of magic to burn the changelings alive leaving them to burn to death.
DemiRarity looks away not wanting to watch the scene. DemiPie does the same as she turns to DemiRarity with a small smile.
"We did it!" DemiPie says looking at DemiRarity.
"Yes... and we did it together! Now let's hurry! We do not wanna attract a crowd of them! Hurry!" DemiRarity says
The two continue to run. Hoping their friends are okay and waiting for them.
DemiShy and DemiJack have continued to walk straight dodging the crowd of the changelings from where they have originally split off. Changelings pounce DemiShy.
"AHHH!! DemiJack help me!! Please!" DemiShy screams out for DemiJack.
DemiJack holds out a lasso and grabs the changeling. She starts to choke the changeling to death.
"DemiShy! Call out ya bear!! Remember! You can call the animals! We need their help! We won't be able to hold this whole invasion of 'em!" DemiJack reminds DemiShy.
"Wait... you're right!" She looks at the crowd of changelings surrounding them bloodthirsty.
"For my friends... for Ponyville! For every pony!" She slowly starts whistling.
A huge bear emerges from being the changelings. The bear starts killing off the changelings one by one. DemiJack helps out by bucking the changelings towards the bear.
"We did it!" DemiJack says proudly.
"We... we did! You can go home now Frank... Let's go!" She runs towards the train with DemiJack.
DemiTwi and DemiDash ran in the other direction opposite of where DemiRarity and DemiPie ran off to. DemiTwi and DemiDash seem to not be chased by any changelings. They run into Jasper and DemiSpike who are strangely in front of them standing there.
"DemiSpike! Jasper! You two are okay! Oh, I'm so glad!! I was worried sick!" DemiTwi says relieved.
The two just stand there. Staring at the two with a smile. It kind of scares DemiTwi a bit. DemiDash looks at them suspiciously.
"DemiSpike?" DemiTwi takes a step forward.
The changelings reveal themselves! They attack DemiTwi. DemiDash kicks one of them off DemiTwi but they had a good hold of her. DemiDash gets an idea.
"DemiTwi! I will be right back! Keep fighting!" DemiDash flies away. She quickly gets out of DemiTwi's sight before DemiTwi can even say anything about it.
"You are just going to leave me here!? DemiDash! Oh no no..." She teleports out of the changelings hold but they catch up.
DemiTwi is cornered by the two changelings. She looks around for some pony to call out to for help, but no pony is there. The two changelings walk closer and closer to her as the atmosphere is still filled up with ponies screaming in fear. As soon as she is going to give up DemiDash comes back with a stormy cloud.
"Shoot magic right when it's about to strike!" DemiDash yells out.
DemiTwi nods and as soon as the cloud strikes DemiTwi blasts a magic beam in contact. The lighting turns a yellow color. It strikes the changelings, and the changelings immediately explode. Blood covers DemiTwi's face as she is amazed and disturbed by the teamwork, she and DemiDash just did.
"You came back for me..." DemiTwi says.
"Of course! I would never leave a friend hanging!" DemiDash says.
DemiTwi smiles a bit. Her cutie mark starts to glow and a little star forms on it.
Neither of the two noticed this and made pace.
DemiSpike and Jasper are already at the train station with DemiShy and DemiJack as they were hiding behind a trash can before. Jasper had been reassuring DemiSpike that everything would be okay. Jasper leads DemiSpike to the train station not hiding behind the bin anymore.
"Come on. It is okay. Trust me." Jasper reassures DemiSpike.
"Okay. I trust you." He slowly makes his way to Jasper. A changeling attacks and knocks over DemiSpike!
"AHHHH!! Get off me!!" DemiSpike screams in fear and tries to kick the changeling off. The changeling bites DemiSpike's leg leaving a huge cut.
"AHHH!!" DemiSpike starts to almost cry from how badly it hurts.
Jasper grabs a nearby branch and stabs it through the changeling's head.
"Are you okay!? What happened?! Oh gosh..."
"The changeling bit me..." He tries to stand up but falls over due to how badly his leg is hurt.
"No no! It's okay! Here." Jasper carries DemiSpike," "You just rest a bit. I am sure DemiShy has something to help you."
"OH! Haha... Thanks!" The little dragon blushes a bit before focusing on the path ahead. The pain stings his leg, but his heart is stung with something else.
Everypony meets at the train station they quickly close the doors before any other changelings come in. DemiTwi then speaks up.
“Is everypony okay? Is everypony here?”
“Yeah. Ah, think so. Let’s get to the Princess before any other ponies get hurt! We got to fix this!” DemiJack reminds
“Oh yes… I don’t know if I can take this any longer..” DemiShy says while she patches up DemiSpike’s wound.
“Where is the Train conductor?” DemiDash asks.
“Oh no…. Who’s gonna drive the train!? We can’t go anywhere without them! We’re trapped!” DemiRarity says
DemiTwi and her friends all panic a bit not knowing what to do. The changelings bang on the windows and doors trying to break in and do who knows what? Screams are still heard outside as ponies run all around DemiVille trying to escape the changelings.
“I’ll do it,” DemiTwi says determined to escape the place and get to the princess to set things right.
“What? But it’s dangerous!” DemiPie says.
“It’s a risk we’re just going to have to take! Hold on to your cutie marks.” She trots to the front of the train ready to conduct.
“Okay…. To the princess, we go!” She pushes a lever and the train immediately starts moving. Everypony holds still to not be flung around.
“Urghhh…”. DemiSpike groans in pain. The changeling left a mark on DemiSpikes leg for it to still be hurting a lot.
“It’s okay. Just rest a bit. It’s going to be a while till we get you a proper doctor.” Jasper says.
The train suddenly stops. Another train wants to cross first. This infuriates DemiTwi.
“No! We have to go first!”
DemiRarity walks up to DemiTwi and puts a hoof on her shoulder.
“Let them go first, darling..”
“But- the princess-“.
“It’s the generous thing to do. Those ponies want to be safe..”
“Fine.. but.. will we make it in time?” DemiTwi says
DemiJack suddenly walks up to her as well.
“We will make it. I promise.” DemiJack says
“Are you sure?” DemiTwi asks in doubt.
“I’m being honest. Just as generous as DemiRarity is.” DemiJack says with a light smile.
DemiTwi continues conducting after the other train passes. Her cutie mark glows and two stars appear. Just like when the first star appeared.
None of the ponies noticed this of course. The train continues moving. The ponies all calm down and stay quiet not knowing what to talk about in such a tense environment. Soon enough they get to Canterlot. The changelings seem to have not reached Canterlot yet. Guards are everywhere guarding the place. They must know about the sudden attack on DemiVille.
DemiTwi and her friends get off the train. Jasper holding DemiSpike while the rest hold their supplies. A guard stops them from moving.
“Stop right there! How do we know you aren’t one of them under disguise!?” A guard says illuminating their horn.
“We would have attacked right now!” DemiDash says.
“It’s okay.” A familiar voice says. Princess Sunrise walks in front of the guards, “They aren’t one of them. Follow me my loyal subjects.”
“Thank Goodness...” DemiTwi says relieved.
DemiTwi and her friends follow the princess until they reach their castle. They walk into the castle and the throne room. Princess Sunrise stops and looks at DemiTwi.
“You must be concerned about the current events happening...”
“Ya darn right we are! What’s goin' on!?” DemiJack says
“The queen…. The Queen of the changelings has returned...” Princess Sunrise says.
“Who is the queen of the changelings?!” DemiDash says.
“It’s- “Princess Sunrise is interrupted when a voice behind her is heard.
The queen of the changelings steps into view behind her.
“It’s me.” The queen laughs crazily.
Princess Sunrise immediately stands in front of DemiTwi and her friends defending them.
“Soon… my changelings will take over DemiVille… then Canterlot… and then Demiquestria!!!” The queen yells out.
“No! You won’t... you have now revealed yourself to me in such a foolish matter! Now..., I will defend my subjects from you!” Princess Sunrise flies up and starts shooting out a magic beam at the queen.
The queen immediately reacts and sends one back in contact with the other. The Queen starts to lose but recovers quickly and starts shooting a more powerful one. Princess DemiCelestia has a panicked look. The beam reaches Princess Sunrise and knocks her back. DemiTwi immediately screams out in fear.
“Princess Sunrise!!” DemiTwi runs over to Princess Sunrise.
“The elements... you must go... to the elements... find them! They are… in... the old castle... you must... get to them!” Princess Sunrise illuminates her horn.
“No! No! I can’t leave you! NO!!” DemiTwi begs and begs but as soon as she can get her last word out Princess Sunrise teleports DemiTwi and her friends somewhere safe.
My Little Demi: Friendship Is Magic (A My Little Pony AU)
After the events of Princess Sunrise and the queen of the changelings combat. Princess Sunrise had teleported DemiTwi and her friends to a forest. DemiTwi sits down crying. The rest of her friends stand beside her not knowing what to do.
"It's okay DemiTwi..." DemiDash puts a hoof on her shoulder. "We will save her. I promise... from the bottom of my heart."
DemiDash continues to comfort DemiTwi while the others discuss what to do and how to find the elements Princess Sunrise said were apparently in the forest they were teleported to.
The forest was safe. No changelings have gotten to the forest. The forest was peaceful. DemiTwi calmed down a bit but was still crying due to her having to leave Princess Sunrise. DemiDash let DemiTwi cry it all out before starting to comfort her again. DemiShy stays quiet not knowing what to say. DemiSpike tugs Jasper's arm to feel safe. DemiPie, DemiJack, and DemiRarity discuss the events happening.
"Alright, everypony. We got to make pace if we going to want to find them elements!" DemiJack said out loud.
"Right! We have to make pace!" DemiRarity said.
DemiTwi just sits there thinking about what to do. She realizes that these ponies need her. These ponies can’t do this on their own. DemiSpike needs her. DemiDash needs her. DemiShy needs her. They all need her. They can’t do this alone. She has to get up and lead the way. DemiQuestria needs her after all.
“We have to go get the elements and make things right. The Princess said it was in the old castle. It’s across this forest Let’s go!” DemiTwi quickly makes pace. The rest followed her and ran fast
“Hmm! The mood seems to be low... Hey DemiTwi! What do you call a pony who can’t go up? A downer! Hahaha! Oh, that made no sense.” DemiPie jokes.
“Hehehe.. that is kind of funny.” DemiTwi laughs a bit.
“What do you call a snail on a ship?! A SNAILOR!” DemiPie shouts for every pony to hear.
“HAHAHAH! Oh, DemiPie! You made me feel better already!”
“Laughter is the best medicine!” DemiPie says.
A new star forms on DemiTwi's cutie mark once again. No pony notices this despite all being behind DemiTwi.
The group then faces a whole crowd of bears in the way. They all seem hostile. DemiTwi is quick to react and shoots one of the bears with magic. The bear growls and the whole group starts attacking them. DemiShy and the two dragons are the only ones not attacking. She tries to get their attention but fails.
"This one's a toughie!" DemiJack yells
"Guys..." DemiShy says trying to get their attention
"Damnit this one is very difficult!” DemiDash yells.
“Guys…” DemiShy says once again failing to get their attention.
"I got this one down! Now to send this one back ho-" DemiTwi says before she is interrupted.
"GUYS!!!!" DemiShy yells at the top of her lungs.
DemiShy's yelling got everypony's and every bears attention silencing them and giving her their full undivided attention.
"We do not need to fight, and we certainly do not need to be so mean! Watch."
DemiShy goes up to one of the bears and says, "Excuse me Mr. Bear but we would like to pass. If you have a problem we will be more than happy to discuss what troubles you."
The bears kindly move out of the way letting the group go by. DemiShy and the rest then walk past and do not look back to avoid making eye contact with the bears they had tried to attack.
"How did you do that?" DemiTwi asks DemiShy.
"Sometimes... all you need is a little kindness," DemiShy says.
Another star then forms on DemiTwi's cutie mark. No pony once again noticed this.
The group of ponies reach a bridge. Due to all the fog, DemiTwi did not notice that the bridge was destroyed and was to fall off if she were to even put a hoof on where the bridge was supposed to be.
"Come on everypony! The castle is just on the other side of this bridge- AHHHH!!!" DemiTwi almost falls off. If it wasn't for DemiDash she was to fall off to her doom.
"Maybe DemiDash can fly over to the other side and tie the bridge to that fence thingy! Then DemiShy can tighten it from this side, so it is nice and steady!" DemiSpike says.
"Little smarty! Hehe. Jee! You are light! Light like a feather." Jasper says.
"Heh... Yeah... I guess..." DemiSpike says blushing.
"Great idea DemiSpike! Alright, DemiShy be ready." DemiDash yells out.
DemiDash flies off to the other side. She grabs a rope from the bridge and ties it. She is about to tighten it until...
"Stop! Right there missy! We sense there is something awesome about you! You an amazing flyer?" a strange voice calls out to DemiDash.
"What is it to you mysterious voice?" DemiDash says alarmed.
"Because we three want you to join us!!"
Three ponies who seem to be in some strange green and black suits fly out from the fog. The three ponies have goggles and seem to all be Pegasi.
"The Wondercolts?!" DemiDash says amazed.
"The ToxicBolts! The more awesome versions of the Wondercolts!" The pegasus in the middle says.
"Yeah okay! Let me just tie this rope around for my friends."
"No! It-" The pegasus is immediately interrupted.
"Sorry! Not happening. Get lost want to be wondercolts." DemiDash brushes them off.
The three Pegasi immediately go back into the fog not to be seen again. DemiShy immediately ties the rope after DemiDash does. No new star forms probably because DemiDash has already played her part. DemiDash looks up and sees three changelings flying off. Could she have escaped a trap that could have led her to her death?
The ponies all walk across meeting up with DemiDash. They all stand in front of the castle.
"Well... we did it," DemiRarity says relieved.
"Yeah! We so did!" DemiPie says.
The group walks inside to see a horrific sight. Brensle lays on the floor bruised up.
"How... could they be so damn strong?!" Brensle says panting.
"You foolish plusle can't stop me. Soon... every pony will be bowing down to me! Then... one by one. All killed! Oh! What a surprise! A group of ponies and two little dragons huh?" The queen says.
DemiTwi glares at the queen and starts to get ready to attack.
"Seriously?" The queen laughs and also gets ready to attack.
The two start running towards each other. DemiTwi quickly teleports behind her and starts to grab all the elements one by one off the stands.
"You little shit! I will rip out your organs one by one!" The queen yells out angrily.
"No, you won't!" DemiJack bucks her in the face followed by DemiRarity shooting a magic blast at her.
"Urghh!!" The queen grabs the two with her magic and sends them flying across the room hitting a wall.
"Hey!!" DemiDash sends a hit across her face by flying across in front of her. DemiShy pushes her to the floor.
The queen gets angry even more and shoots the two with magic. She sees DemiTwi trying to activate the elements.
"No!!" The queen roars out.
"Surprise!!" DemiPie uses her party cannon to attack the queen. Sadly the queen moves out of the way and shoots her with magic.
"One spark... One spark!!" DemiTwi uses her magic full force to activate the elements. The queen shouts to get her attention. She sees the queen with DemiSpike in her hooves ready to kill him She must have teleported him into her hooves because Jasper was caught by surprise.
"I will do it." The queen smiles evilly.
"DemiSpike.." DemiTwi says. She sees DemiSpike panicking and scared for his life unable to talk due to the queen not letting him.
The queen quickly sends a powerful beam of magic towards DemiTwi. Before DemiTwi was able to react she was hit. She was on the floor in pain as she watched the queen destroy the elements and throw DemiSpike on the floor. DemiSpike cries in pain bleeding as DemiRarity holds back Jasper from attacking the queen. DemiTwi watches in disbelief alongside the other ponies.
"I will take over all of DemiQuestria!!" The queen shouts out evil followed by a sinister laugh.
"It's over... I failed.." DemiTwi says given up. Brensle crawls over to her.
"No, you can not give up. You do not need those rocks. The elements are not destroyed. The spirits of the elements are not in the rocks but here in your friends." Brensle says.
DemiTwi looks around. She looks at DemiSpike and then the rest of her friends. She stands up and walks in front of the queen.
"No. You will not rule DemiQuestria." DemiTwi says bravely.
"How will you stop me? Your elements are destroyed!" The queen says.
"You are wrong! Because the spirits of the elements are right here! Beside me. DemiDash, not leaving me in danger saving me from the changelings, and not abandoning her friends for her own heart's desires represents the spirit of...
"You still do not have the sixth element! The so-called spark did not work!"
"But it did! A different kind of spark... that spark ignited all of the elements. That sixth element.. is the element of Magic!! I now understand the magic of friendship because all six of you showed me how true it is.." She looks at her friends. One by one they all smile. DemiSpike smiles as he is getting bandages put on by Jasper. The two dragons smile alongside Brensle and the rest of the ponies. "The most powerful Magic of all is... The Magic of Friendship!!"
All six ponies' elements start to form into some sort of necklace. The six of them all unite as their elements start to light up. The magic unleashes a sort of Rainbow beam striking the queen. The queen yells in pain.
"NO!! NO!! STOP!! I CAN'T BE DEFEATED HERE!! NO!!" The queen slowly starts to be petrified. The magic of the elements spread across all of Demiquestria killing off every changeling there was.
"NOOOO!!! I WILL GET YOU PONIES NEXT TIME!! AHHHH!!"
Everybody wakes up from using the elements. They all seem so tired.
"Urghhh.. What happened?" DemiShy asks.
"I do not know but look at these beautiful necklaces! They are gorgeous!" DemiRarity says.
"Look! You all did it!" Brensle yells pointing to the now petrified changeling queen.
"Indeed you all did." Princess Sunrise flies in from one of the broken windows.
"Princess Sunrise!" DemiTwi runs up to her to hug her.
"I am okay DemiTwi.." Princess Sunrise reassures her.
The ponies, dragons, and Brensle bow down. DemiTwi continues to hug her before pulling out of the hug.
"You know Princess... I was wondering if you could let me... stay in DemiVille... because well... now that I understand the magic of friendship, I truly see how having friends is a wonderful thing..."
"Of course, DemiTwi... ahem... I now announce that my student DemiTwi will be staying in DemiVille to learn about the magic of friendship! And no... you do not have to write back to me every time you learn something unless you really want to." Princess Sunrise says. "I do not want to be like the official version of Princess Celestia anyways..." She mumbles the last part.
All the ponies cheer as they all hug. Princess Sunrise smiles as she sets the sun down for another night. She teleports the queen statue out of the room to not ruin the moment. The friend group starts to make their way out of the castle to go home. Princess Sunrise stays behind. She stares at the banner of the moon. A tear rolls down from her eye. She misses her. She wants her back. Brensle had also stayed behind. Brensle hugs the princess. Princess Sunrise smiles and teleports herself back home with Brensle.
DemiTwi gets ready for bed. She looks out at the moon from her window. She smiles. She now knows how beautiful the magic of friendship is.

My Little Demi: Friendship Is Magic (A My Little Pony AU)
DemiTwi and DemiDash walk through DemiVille heading to the train station. Every other pony is still asleep besides the two. DemiTwi had been wanting to spend time with DemiDash for so long. DemiDash had also been waiting to spend time with DemiTwi. The two arrive at the train station and hop on. The train was quiet. Barely any pony was there. DemiTwi and DemiDash wait quietly. They sit there quietly as if they have not known each other for three or four months already. DemiTwi looks out one of the windows as the sun still rises the sky being an orange color. DemiTwi looks at DemiDash and DemiDash looks back at her. DemiTwi quickly looks away. Blush appears on her face before the train comes to a stop. They have arrived in Canterlot.
"So... uh... where do you want to go?" DemiTwi asks.
"Oh. Uhm. You can pick... I do not mind as long as you enjoy it." DemiDash says.
DemiTwi silently nods as she makes her way inside Canterlot. DemiDash smiles a bit before following. The sky is still an orangish color, and many ponies have not awakened yet. They make it inside a restaurant to eat breakfast. They sit down at one of the tables and avoid eye contact. Both of them blush as they sit in front of each other in silence. They order food and just stare at each other. DemiTwi's purple eyes look at DemiDash's light pink eyes as DemiDash's pink eyes look at DemiTwi's purple eyes. They just stare at each other. DemiTwi thinks to herself. She replays all the memories she and DemiDash have made so far. She thinks about how great of a friend she is. She figures DemiDash is not just a friend to her. But something more. She can't seem to put her hoof on it. Something inside tells her that DemiDash should be more than just that. She has to be more. Her heart can feel it. She can sense it herself. Their friendship may not just be strong but it might be something way bigger than friendship. Something DemiTwi would have never guessed herself.
DemiDash thinks to herself as well. She also thinks about all the memories she and DemiTwi had made on their journey. She remembers the time she had saved DemiTwi from falling down that cliff. She could tell DemiTwi was thinking about that too. She remembers all those memories they have made in just four months. DemiDash thinks about how much she loves spending time with DemiTwi. How much she loves teasing her and overall how much she loves just being with her. She thinks about how strong the friendship has become and how unbreakable the friendship is. Despite calling her and teasing her by calling her an egghead she loves being with her. She realizes that maybe their friendship is stronger than she thinks. Maybe they are more than friends. Not just best friends. Her heart tells her it's something larger than friendship. Something keeps bugging her about it.
Both the two look at each other. They can't see it in each other but both of their hearts think the same thing. This is not a normal friendship. It is something bigger. Something more. Something more complex than a friendship. They just need to realize it. There is something in each other they do not see.
The two leave after having finished their food. DemiDash looks at DemiTwi.
"Where next?" DemiDash asks.
DemiTwi shrugs and just smiles looking at her.
"Maybe we can... try on some... or... buy some outfits?"
"DemiRarity's influence huh?" DemiTwi chuckles
"Hey! Shut up! I am still the coolest and most awesome Pegasi I have ever been!" DemiDash says.
"I don't think awesome Pegasi like you wear fancy dresses and outfits."
"Yeah... I would look stupid! But you would still like pretty to me eh?"
DemiTwi immediately blushes and looks towards the ground and back at her. She just forces a face of annoyance. DemiDash laughs and grabs her. She flies towards the nearby fashion shop. After a while, the two come out with new outfits. DemiDash wearing a lookalike suit of the WonderBolts and DemiTwi wearing a new tie. She also got a new book. The book is named, "StarSwirl The Bearded Fun Facts!"
"You are such a bookworm! Hehe. Kinda suits your cute little glasses. " DemiDash says teasing her.
"Oh shut up DemiDash.. You know I have no choice but to wear these anyways."
"Makes it better!"
DemiTwi blushes slightly as DemiDash does too. DemiDash suddenly gets an idea.
"Do you... trust me DemiTwi?" DemiDash asks her tone suddenly going a bit quieter than usual.
DemiTwi notices this and looks at her. She thinks about the question. She knows the answer to this but for some reason, she had to think about it.
"Of course I do DemiDash... how could I never?"
"Just asking... Hold my hoof." DemiDash says.
"Hold your hoof?.. Okay..." She holds DemiDash's hoof.
DemiDash holds on to her making sure to not drop her as she flies up. When DemiDash stops flying up she looks at DemiTwi. DemiTwi looks back at her. DemiDash suddenly carries her. DemiTwi is caught by surprise. DemiDash starts flying around in the sky going faster and faster. Suddenly she makes a sonic rainboom! All the ponies in Canterlot look up to see the pretty rainbow across the sky. DemiTwi is amazed by the rainboom. Her eyes spark with joy witnessing it. Once again the two's eyes meet. They suddenly close their eyes and kiss. Their kiss goes on for about 30 seconds before pulling away. The two finally realized what their hearts were telling them. It wasn't a friendship. It was love.
"Does this mean.." DemiDash asks.
"Yes. We are." DemiTwi says.
"I love you DemiTwi."
"I love you to DemiDash. With all my heart."
Brensle watches from afar from the Princess's Castle.
"Well... That's a happy ending!"

DemiRarity wakes up to a great morning. It had been a few days since the incident of the changeling queen. Many ponies had lost loved ones and some blamed Princess Sunrise for not warning them. It is unfair for them to blame her since Princess Sunrise had given a warning days before the attack. Anyways. DemiRarity wakes up and immediately goes into the kitchen to start cooking.
"Jasper! Jasper darling! Wake up!!" DemiRarity yells. No response. DemiRarity figures he is still sleeping. He was out late with his friend Lindy.
"Silly dragon..." she goes upstairs and enters Jasper's room. She shakes him a bit. "Wake up sleepy head!! Rise and shine!"
"Mooooom... five more minutes!" Jasper says half asleep complaining.
"No darling! It is already 2 pm! Wake up or you will not be able to sleep at all!"
"Fine..." He gets up. His fur-like scales are everywhere.
DemiRarity giggles a bit. She leads him downstairs and to the kitchen to eat. Jasper sits down on the chair as DemiRarity does the same.
"So... Mom. Hearing you talk loudly last night, I assume we will go to the spa, huh?"
"Oh yes! How wonderful!" DemiRarity says excitedly.
"Greatttt... fantastic." Jasper groans
"It is very much fantastic! Now. Go fix your scales and I'll be waiting outside."
"Okay. Fine." Jasper goes upstairs to fix his messy fur-like scales, "Heh. The little pink guy is pretty funny. He does act pretty funny too."
Jasper gets his fur-like scales fixed and runs downstairs. He goes outside and sees DemiRarity waiting for him. Without another word, they immediately start walking across DemiVille to find the spa. Jasper is hoping that DemiRarity will not find it while DemiRarity has her hopes of finding the spa to the max. The two now stand in front of it.
"We are here! Oh, come on Jasper!"
"On second thought... maybe I'll stay right out here-"
"Nope!" She holds Jasper and carries him inside.
One whole hour later the two walk out. DemiRarity walks out with a big smile while Jasper walks out not as happy as DemiRarity. DemiRarity turns to Jasper.
"Alright, Jasper. Now where do you want to go?" DemiRarity asks
"Anywhere except places that put this weird stuff on us! My scales are so... straight and stuff! Urgghhh.." Jasper complains
"Oh, darling you look like DemiTwi!"
"That is the problem, mom."
DemiTwi hears this walking past the two with DemiSpike.
"HEY!! I heard that!" DemiTwi says. emotional damage.
"Still looks great to me-" DemiSpike comments getting cut off by him walking straight into a streetlight.
The two leave the scene DemiTwi being emotionally hurt.
"Well. That was something. That pink dragon was always awkward Hehe." DemiRarity giggles a bit.
"I guess." Jasper chuckles.
Jasper chuckles for a bit until getting an idea.
"I have an idea. It will be loads of fun!" Jasper says
A few minutes later the two are now skydiving.
"AHHHHH!! SKYDIVING?!" DemiRarity says screaming as she dives through the air alongside Jasper.
"Isn't this loads of fun!? Woohoo!! Yeahhhh!!" Jasper yells in excitement.
"AHHHH!!" She quickly opens her parachute in a panic. Jasper follows along still enjoying the moment.
The two land safely on the ground. Jasper beaming with how fun it was to skydive while DemiRarity takes deep breaths trying to comprehend what just happened.
"That... was... AMAZING! We have to do that again sometime soon don't you think Mom?!"
"Yes... of course... definitely... with DemiDash keeping watch next time though..." DemiRarity says between each breath.
"Actually... let's do it again right now-"
"How about some ice cream! It is very hot anyways!" DemiRarity immediately interrupts not wanting to go skydiving again.
"Sure! I love ice cream! Chocolate chip please!" Jasper says excitedly.
"Alright! Let's go!"
DemiRarity and Jasper take a walk to get to the ice cream shop. There they see DemiTwi and DemiSpike sitting down at one of the tables. DemiRarity orders the ice creams and sits at one of the tables next to DemiTwi and DemiSpike along with Jasper. DemiRarity reaches into her bag and pulls out some glasses.
"Here Jasper! Try these on! I won these glasses at the annual Pokémon fighting tournament. Why did I choose these glasses? Eh. I thought you would like them!" DemiRarity says giving the glasses to Jasper.
"Hm..." Jasper puts on the glasses and looks in the mirror DemiRarity has out.
DemiSpike looks over and looks a bit... disappointed, "He looks a bit like..."
"Darling, you look kind of like DemiTwi! Your scales and the glasses match!" DemiRarity exclaims.
"That creates a bigger problem... fashion problem," Jasper says taking off the glasses and messing up his scales.
"I hate all of you," DemiTwi says even more emotionally hurt.
"Oop. Sorry DemiTwi, did not notice you were there! Hehe. Uhm..." Jasper finally notices DemiTwi sitting next to them.
"Hehe... me and Jasper were just about to leave. Uh... catch you later!" DemiRarity makes her way to the exit outside. Jasper follows along. He looks back for a moment at DemiSpike and winks. DemiSpike's face immediately goes red.
"Hehehe.. I did not expect that." DemiSpike says.
"Yeah. I was not expecting to get harassed today either." DemiTwi says.
The sun starts to set and all the ponies make it inside their houses to finally rest for the night. DemiRarity and Jasper make it back to the boutique to do the same. DemiRarity tucks Jasper into bed and tells him goodnight. DemiRarity goes to bed herself.
DemiTwi and DemiSpike make it to their home.
"DemiSpike. Take a note." DemiTwi tells DemiSpike. DemiSpike gets ready to write a note.
"Dear Princess Sunrise, I have learned today that I should always wear a hoodie and hide my looks because a certain unicorn and dragon harassed me not once but twice today. Your faithful student, DemiTwi Sparkle."
"Seriously DemiTwi?"
"Yes. I am very much serious. I was literally harassed for no reason! Now... lights out. Goodnight DemiSpike" DemiTwi says.
"Goodnight DemiTwi."
Back at the boutique. DemiRarity looks to her side on her bed. She sees a picture of her sister and her. DemiBelle. A tear rolls down her cheek. How would things be if she was still here?

Brensle walks through DemiVille. Every pony is having fun with their friends and families. He looks around for his friends until realizing that they are nowhere to be seen. He then remembers what his friends said they'd do. DemiTwi said she would be across DemiQuestria with Princess SunRise. DemiDash said she would be with DemiShy in CloudsDale. DemiJack and DemiRarity said they would be taking care of their families. Brensle sighs to himself.
"The only time I am not busy is the time everybody- well... Everypony is. No pony is here... my friends are all busy." Brensle says to himself.
"Not everypony!!" DemiPie says appearing out of nowhere.
"DemiPie! I thought you said you'd be hosting a birthday party for a filly all day! How the hay are you here?!"
"Silly! I said I would do it all day! Not Tuesday! Or did I say Wednesday... hmmm..." DemiPie asks stupidly.
"It's Tuesday! I am so glad you are here! We can finally have some time together!" Brensle says excitedly.
"Not just me! My brother is here too! Meet Comet! Comet Bronze!" DemiPie says pulling him out of nowhere.
"What the? Where? Huh?" Comet says looking around confused about how he was here when he was literally at the bakery not even two minutes ago.
"Brensle! Meet Comet! Comet meet Brensle!"
"U-uh... hi.."
"Nice to meet you Comet! Love the mane style." Brensle compliments Comet.
"...mm.." He looks to the ground a bit scared.
"Hehe. I love your mane style." Brensle says
Brensle thinks to himself.
I can sense Comet will be very important in the future. But... I can sense it as... something different. Wait... I can sense who it's going to be... it's...
"WHAT?!" Brensle yells out loudly.
"OOOO! Are we having a screaming competition?! Let me join let me join!" DemiPie says excitedly thinking there is a screaming competition going on.
"U-uhhh.." Comet says.
"Guys guys guys! I have something fun we can do! Come on! Follow me to my Bakery! It is time to have some fun!" DemiPie jumps around excitedly and dashes at an abnormal speed to her bakery.
The two follow DemiPie into her bakery and are immediately shocked at the scenery. There is a bunch of red liquid all over the kitchen table and dishes. The two look at DemiPie who is holding a jar of Strawberry jam.
"Sorry! I tried opening the jar safely, but I couldn't! I had to open it with Pinkie mode! Hehe! Sorry about the mess. I guess I am a bit messy when it comes to having to open a jar of jam or anything safely." DemiPie says giggling.
"Oh! Well.. a good thing it's strawberry jam. Has DemiDash been here? Just asking for... no reason." Brensle asks.
"Nope! The last time she's been here was before the changeling attack incident. Which we don't talk about because you know... pretty traumatic if you ask me." DemiPie says slowly turning her tone into a serious one but then immediately going back to cheery.
"Right... just wanted to make sure," Brensle says relieved.
"Ooh! OOO! I have an idea! Let's bake! Like how we always used to do! Now that we have a new friend it can be double the fun! Come on Brensle!" Comet says going behind the kitchen counter.
"I don't even know how to bake though! I'll mess everything up!" Brensle says
"No worries! We will teach you the basics! How to bake a simple cake! Take note Brensle! We are about to go CRAZZZZZYYYYYYY!"
DemiPie and Comet start taking out a bunch of ingredients for the cake and baking supplies. Brensle watches as the pile grows bigger and bigger. The pile stops growing for a bit until DemiPie exclaims that it is not enough and starts to throw more and more baking supplies and ingredients onto the pile. Brensle gulps and watches nervously as the pile seems to be reaching the roof already. The pile stops as Comet and DemiPie immediately get the flour.
"First you get the flour!" DemiPie says.
"Okay. Got it." Brensle says doing as he is told
After a bit of instruction following, being yelled at by DemiPie, being helped by Comet, and some cupcake breaks by DemiPie, Brensle has finally gotten to the part where he has to bake the cake and put his toppings.
"You did it Brensle! Way to go!" Comet congratulates Brensle.
"Yippie you did it! And this time you did not try to secretly eat the Chocolate muffin that is on the other side of the counter!" DemiPie says
"I did not!" Brensle tries to defend himself but then looks at his paws. He notices he forgot to wash the chocolate off his paws.
DemiPie giggles and Comet laughs at Brensle. Brensle really did try to say he did not try to eat the Chocolate muffin when the evidence of him trying to get it is right on his face. Brensle's face gets a little pink being embarrassed. DemiPie reaches for the muffin and gives it to Brensle. Brensle quickly eats it and immediately gets a boost of energy. He starts to run around fast.
"If you wanted it so bad you could have just asked! I can make muffins like those in just about five minutes! Hehe. I would say I can give you the recipe but seeing how you almost blew up the oven.. I would not recommend it." DemiPie says.
"EEEE!! I CAN REACH THE MOON!!!" Brensle screams.
"Well! I guess now that that's over with... you think we can go out and I don't know... hang out?" Comet asks
"We will be outside Brensle!" DemiPie and Comet exit through the front doors.
Brensle calms down and then thinks to himself for a bit.
"That Comet... I feel something about him... he is going to play an important part with... wait no! No! It can not be true.. THAT DEMON?! This is just bullshit! Ugh!!! I will come for you later-"
A sudden noise is heard. It sounded like something hit the ground. Brensle heads outside but not intime to see what it was running away. The only thing he managed to see was a maroon tail before the figure ran behind the house. DemiPie and Comet did not see it. Brensle wonders... That is the same tail his rival had.

DemiRarity walks through ManeHatten. It is a stormy rainy day. She has her umbrella out and continues trotting. She has come here for a peaceful vacation. She tried to pay DemiTwi some bits to babysit Jasper, but DemiTwi offered to babysit him for free. She continues her path watching everypony go inside due to stormy weather. She stumbles upon a small colt lying in an alleyway. She immediately gasps and runs to the colt who seems to be sleeping. She carries the colt and makes pace to the hotel she has booked. After what seemed to be forever, she finally made it to the hotel and into her room. She places the colt on the bed and puts a blanket over him.
"Oh, my darling... how could any pony leave you out in weather like that? Only such a cruel monster would do that... I promise to get you back to your family. For now, you rest, okay?" DemiRarity says stroking the pony's mane. She sits down on the side of the bed looking out the window.
"Who would do such a thing to you? How would any pony leave you out like that in such weather? I must take care of you until I give your parents a piece of my mind!!!" DemiRarity says frustrated.
DemiRarity watches as the sun sets down. The colt stays put sleeping. DemiRarity cleans up the colt and tries to wake them up. The colt stays sleeping. DemiRarity soon gives up and falls asleep herself. She has a difficult time sleeping thinking about how a miserable pony can leave a young colt in an alleyway. Her anger rises. She thinks about what she will tell the parents when she finds them. She stops herself when her thoughts turn rather bloody. She soon falls asleep.
The sun rises meaning a new day has come. DemiRarity wakes up and still sees the colt sleeping. DemiRarity sighs in relief until the colt wakes up slowly. DemiRarity watches wide-eyed. The colt looks at her. DemiRarity looks back.
"Uh... hello little one! Are you... okay?" DemiRarity asks in a calm voice.
"Where am I? Who are you!? Get away! What have you done to me!? This is not me! What is happening to me?!" The cold exclaims in fear.
"Hey hey calm down! What happened?? Don't be scared!" DemiRarity says trying to calm the colt down.
"No! Get away! Don't hurt me! Please!" The colt says shaking in fear backing up into a corner.
DemiRarity wonders what to do not wanting to hurt the colt The colt looks at her in fear. Tears seem to begin forming but DemiRarity cannot tell due to the black eyes. She finds it unusual but does not question the colt to not make him more scared than he already is. DemiRarity slowly goes up to the colt. She makes sure not to startle him.
"Are you going to hurt me miss?" The colt asks.
"Of course not, darling... why would I ever want to hurt a colt? What's your name?" DemiRarity asks in a soft tone.
"I don't know... I can't remember..."
"It is okay darling. You don't need to be scared. Where are your parents?"
The colt thinks to himself for a bit until he shrugs. DemiRarity is caught off guard by this. A colt without parents? How could this be?
"What do you mean you don't know?... Do you even have parents?" DemiRarity asks concerned.
"No... I don't have any parents... I just found myself here... I ran into an alleyway because I was tired... First, I landed in a weird village. Then I found myself running and running. I reached a train station and boarded it without anypony noticing me. I ended up here when the sky started to darken. I ran into an alleyway to rest and fell asleep... finally I'm here." The colt explains.
"Hm... so you... don't have parents? But how... how does that work?" DemiRarity asks confused.
"I don't know... but I feel nauseous..." The colt says looking as if he's about to faint.
"It's okay. You know what? I am taking you home." DemiRarity says.
DemiRarity packs all her stuff and grabs a trash bag. She carries the colt on her back. DemiRarity walks out of the building and makes pace to the train station. She quickly makes it. The colt seems to have fallen asleep not responsive.
It takes an hour or two before DemiRarity and the small colt have arrived at the DemiVille train station. DemiRarity walks towards her boutique and drops off the colt. She arrives at DemiTwi’s library and picks up Jasper. On the way back to the boutique she tells Jasper everything that happened.
"A small colt in an alleyway? That's so cruel! Who would do that to a child!?"
"I know Jasper... but I had an idea! It's already in action!" DemiRarity says. She opens the boutique doors and shouts, "Say hello to your little brother!"
"Brother?! I never thought I'd see this coming! Heck yeah! He runs up to the colt greeting him and everything.
DemiRarity stays outside closing the door. She stares at the ground thinking to herself.
"Perhaps... this is a second chance after what happened... I won't make the same mistake I did with DemiBelle again... I won't let it happen! I'll be better..." DemiRarity says determined to not let the same thing that happened with DemiBelle happen again.
The colt opens the front door and looks at DemiRarity.
"Why did you bring me here miss?.." The colt asks looking at her confused tilting his head.
DemiRarity looks at him and notices something different. His eyes seem to be different. It's not black anymore but now normal white eyes with green pupils. His coat color seems to have been tinted brighter showing his mud stains on his hooves and freckles. DemiRarity wants to question this but does not.
"Welcome to your new home." DemiRarity says smiling.
The colt smiles and bounces up and down with tons of energy. He stops and looks at DemiRarity again.
"I think I remember my name now!" The colt says.
"What is it darling?" DemiRarity asks curiously.
"It's Wilted! Wilted Bloom!" Wilted says.

DemiSpike walks through his home. DemiTwi had told him she'd be gone for most of the day so now he is home alone. He thinks about what to do and what kinds of fun activities he could do. He decides to go outside and see what has changed. He takes a small stroll across DemiVille until he sees Jasper and Brensle. He tries to take a step up front but immediately stops himself. He just stares at Jasper. His heart flutters and he blushes a bit. Jasper notices him and walks towards him. DemiSpike panics a bit not knowing what to do.
"Hey DemiSpike! What's up?" Jasper says.
DemiSpike stands there. His heart was racing and his thoughts were all over the place. He tries to think of something to say but his mind can't come up with one.
"Uhh... The clouds!" DemiSpike says smiling nervously.
"Well, no duh. What else would be up? The ground?" Brensle says.
DemiSpike's face goes red due to embarrassment. Jasper chuckles a bit.
"Y-yeah! Uhm... so... uhhhhh..." DemiSpike tries to say something but fails every time.
"You're funny DemiSpike! I made a good decision being best friends with you didn't I?" Jasper says smiling.
"I-I-I..." DemiSpike stutters and stutters more.
"I am guessing you have a stuttering problem. It's okay though!" Jasper says completely unaware.
"Are you serious Jasper? You can't be seriously be that oblivious..." Brensle says.
"Don't mind Brensle... anyways. DemiRarity wanted me to ask you if you wanted to come with her and me to eat out later! She recently adopted a colt named Wilted Bloom and she thought him meeting you first would be best!"
"Uh... uhm... Sure! I.. I would love to..." DemiSpike says almost daydreaming.
"Uhhh... DemiSpike! Hello? You still there buddy?" Brensle says waving his paw in his face.
Jasper and Brensle look at each other confused. Brensle grabs a pebble and gets ready to throw it at him. Jasper gives him a glare warning that if he throws it at DemiSpike it very much will not end well. Brensle rolls his eyes. Jasper gets closer to DemiSpike and taps him on the shoulder. DemiSpike immediately snaps back to reality. DemiSpike looks up and sees Jasper right in front of him. Jasper looks at him back with a face of "You okay?" DemiSpike just backs up.
"Yes! Yes! Uhhh.. you know I think I heard my... pillow calling me. I mean... fish! I mean... uh... you know!" DemiSpike tries to excuse himself.
"No... I don't." Brensle says kind of annoyed.
"Uhhh.." Jasper says confused.
"I think I hear my lamp calling! I'll see all of you later!! Bye!" DemiSpike says dashing off to his home. Jasper and Brensle just shrug it off.
DemiSpike runs into the home and shuts the door immediately. He immediately yells at the top of his lungs.
"AHHHH!! DemiSpike! What were you thinking?! I made a fool out of myself! What if he knows?! What if he thinks I'm weird?! What if he doesn't like me back?!" DemiSpike keeps yelling at himself. He runs around panicking until he hits himself on the table. He immediately falls back.
"Ouch! Ughh..." He gets up and grabs a book. The book is called "Dragon Life". He opens the book and goes to the section where they talk about dragon love life.
He reads and reads the book. He reads through all the chapters. He closes the book panicked.
"But... all the lovers every dragon had had been of the opposite gender!! None of them had boy dragons like boy dragons..." DemiSpike says now worried. Is he not normal?..
He throws the book across the library. He thinks to himself. He remembers his past before he was taken in by DemiTwi.
At the dragon lands back when DemiSpike was first born
A pink egg hatches open and a dragon pops his head out. He gets out of his egg and looks around.
"Mommy? Daddy? Where are you?" Baby DemiSpike says. The little dragon roams around through the land. Other dragons immediately stop conversations to stare.
"Hewwo! Do you want to be my friend?!" The baby DemiSpike asks a dragon. The dragon's name is Topaz. Topaz stares down at him. He immediately bursts into laughter.
Baby DemiSpike looks at him ,confused, a little hurt. He asks again and Topaz laughs even harder.
"Ew!! A pink dragon?! with yellow hearts?! What are you?! GAY?!? HAHAHAH!!!" Topaz laughs and laughs at him. Topaz motions for his friends to join him.
"Uhm... That is not really nice... I just wanted to be friends..." The baby DemiSpike says sad.
"Oh, man! This just keeps getting better! Gay dragon Gay dragon!!!" Topaz immediately started saying. Every dragon soon starts joining him.
The poor baby DemiSpike looks around. Every dragon is now pointing at him making fun of him. He wonders where his parents are. Why are they not there protecting him? Why were they not there to witness his birth? What was wrong with being pink? In DemiSpike's mind... he wonders... what did gay mean? The poor baby dragon did not know what it was until now...
DemiSpike snaps back to reality now in real time... he looks at his claws...
"A-am... Am I... gay?.. No! NO! Is that why my parents abandoned me?.. no! W-what if..." His eyes start to tear up.
Not long after he starts to cry. He sobs hard as he starts wrecking the place.
"DemiTwi is gonna abandon me! She will hate me!! Everypony will hate me! I hate myself! I am weird! I am the worst! Everypony is gonna leave me!!" DemiSpike yells out continuing to destroy the whole place.
"No. They won't."
DemiSpike freezes upon hearing the voice. He looks at the front door and sees Brensle. Brensle walks up to DemiSpike and puts a paw on his shoulder.
"You are perfect the way you are DemiSpike," Brensle says. He immediately opens his arms waiting for DemiSpike to hug him.
DemiSpike immediately hugs him and starts sobbing. Brensle pats his back to comfort him.
"There there. You don't have to be scared. There is nothing wrong with being gay. It is perfectly normal." Brensle says.
"B-but... I-.. n-no dragon h-has.." DemiSpike says between hiccups. He can't even finish a sentence.
"It doesn't matter. Differences are what makes you special. You are perfect DemiSpike. Don't let any pony or dragon tell you otherwise." Brensle says. He continues hugging DemiSpike who is still sobbing.
After a bit, DemiSpike stops. Brensle lets go and sits beside him.
"You okay now bud?" Brensle asks.
DemiSpike nods tears still rolling down his face and some still in his eyes.
"You know. DemiRarity must be waiting for you." Brensle reminds him.
DemiSpike remembers that he was supposed to be going out with DemiRarity and the others. DemiSpike immediately gets up and starts picking up books. Brensle stops DemiSpike.
"Don't worry. I'll clean this whole mess up for you. Also.. can I ask you something?" Brensle asks.
"Sure..." DemiSpike sniffs before looking at Brensle.
"Do you like Jasper?" Brensle asks curiously.
"Maybe..." DemiSpike says blushing a bit while wiping the tears off his face.
"Awhhh! Cute! Anyways... you should be going. Have fun!" Brensle waves bye.
"Thanks... I'll see you tomorrow..." DemiSpike shuts the door. He makes his way to the boutique.
There outside DemiRarity waits with Wilted and Jasper. DemiRarity notices DemiSpike running up to them.
"DemiSpike! Darling, you are finally here! I want you to meet my new son Wilted!" DemiRarity says showing Wilted to DemiSpike.
"Hi Wilted! I am DemiSpike!"
"Hello! I am Wilted!! Nice to meet you!" Wilted says excitedly.
"Oh! And... Hi to you Jasper!" DemiSpike says nervously.
"Hey DemiSpike! Oh, wait! There is something on your face... hold still!" Jasper says noticing something.
"W-wait w-wha-" DemiSpike is interrupted when Jasper puts his claw on his cheek wiping something off.
DemiSpike turns around his heart racing faster and his face going red. DemiRarity notices this and thinks to herself. She then gasps realizing. She smiles a bit.
"Well! What are we waiting for? Let's go! I am starving!" DemiRarity exclaims.
The four make their way to the restaurant. They all get what they want and sit down. While eating Jasper finds out DemiSpike is a messy eater. Jasper laughs at DemiSpike.
"Whaatt? Is there something on my face?" DemiSpike asks.
"Oh, you silly dragon! Here." Jasper grabs a napkin wiping the mess off of DemiSpike's face.
Wilted giggles watching the scene and DemiRarity smiles knowingly. The four leave after finishing their meals. DemiRarity drops DemiSpike off at his home.
DemiSpike enters the home and sees that Brensle is gone. The library is cleaned up though. DemiSpike goes upstairs and notices DemiTwi has not come home yet. He hops into bed and looks up at the roof. He thinks about Jasper. He thinks about how awesome he is. How.. amazing he is. He blushes and starts to smile.
"Maybe... he will like me back... I just hope he does!" DemiSpike falls asleep. He tugs his Mrs. Fluffs plushie as he does.

"Goal! I am so good at this game!” Comet says out loud as he scores a goal.
“You are good, kid.” DemiDash says, “But not better than me! No one is ever better than the best!”
“You can keep talking with that big ego of yours, but I am way better than you,” Comet says.
“Yeah yeah. Maybe you are more than what you seem to be. I’ll catch you later kid, see ya.” DemiDash says flying away into the clouds.
Comet kicks the soccer ball into the net and sighs. He thinks to himself. He is very lonely and wants a friend he can play with. DemiDash can only do so much considering she has a job and a marefriend. He walks back inside the bakery.
"Hey, Comet! Is somepony a little doooooownnnn?" DemiPie says immediately dashing up to him.
"Yeah... I had just realized how lonely I am... I don't have anypony to play with at all!" Comet says sad.
"What about Wilted Bloom?" DemiPie suggests.
"Wilted Bloom? Who's that? I have never heard of them."
"Wilted Bloom is DemiRarity's child! I think. He has recently moved here! I can not believe you haven't heard of him! He is a very interesting colt! I think you two would be the greatest friends! Do you want him to come?" DemiPie says with the biggest smile.
"Well- I don-" Comet says before he is cut off by DemiPie running off at an abnormal speed.
"What in the hay?" Comet says before DemiPie immediately comes back with Wilted Bloom on her back.
"Hoowee! I cannot believe DemiRarity didn't see me take her child like that! She really needs some glasses! I am surprised she hasn't been robbed yet considering how slow she is! Am I right? Hahah!" DemiPie says.
"Where the hay? How did I even get here?' Wilted says confused.
DemiPie drops Wilted off her back.
"You my friend are here to meet your new best friend! Insert trumpet sounds! Comet! Oooo! You two are going to be the bestest friends" DemiPie says excitedly.
"Woah! A new friend?! I am Wilted Bloom! What is your name?!" Wilted says.

Wilted immediately cuts him off by putting a hoof on his mouth.

I have an older sister named DemiPie! I still am not able to fly but I have gotten close to it! I am the coolest pony around here! The most awesome Pegasus to be known! Am I overexaggerating?! I am not right?! Am I?! Oh, Sunrise I am so sorry! It's just- Oooo gosh! Sorry sorry sorry!" Comet says trying to calm himself down from how exciting it is to him to finally having a friend his age he can talk to.
"It's okay! Okay. I am Wilted Bloom. I am the son of DemiRarity! Ooo! Then there's Jasper! He's cool too! I love reading! Not as much as DemiTwi. I love being curious because it's how we learn the most about stuff!" Wilted says.
"I was never into reading much. I find it a bit boring for my speed! Guess you can say I am a bit too cool! Too awesome for books!" Comet says
"You sure? Hehe. Alright, whatever you say!" Wilted chuckles
"Hey! What is that supposed to mean?!" Comet says
"Oh, nothing. I am just wondering... how did you reach the bookshelf to find out if you were more awesome than books huh?" Wilted jokes.

"Whatever... hey! Do you want to play a game of tag?! I love tag! Tag you're it! Haha!" Comet says running out of the bakery.
Wilted stands there not expecting Comet to have come up with the idea of playing tag. Wilted shrugs and runs after Comet. He looks for where has run off and sees him. Wilted immediately runs after him. Wilted seems to catch up in no time.
"I'm gonna getcha! Seems like the most awesome pegasus is a really slow pegasus too!" Wilted yells out.
"Hey! I.. I am just going easy on you!" Comet says trying to cover up the fact he is not that fast.
Wilted catches Comet. Both are panting. Comet laughs a bit despite him losing the game. Wilted looks at him and smiles.
"Hehe. What was that about going easy?" Wilted says.
"Oh, shut up... I'm just... exercising my lungs. I just go easy on new friends! Or do I? Wait. Was that a lie? Do I go easy on new friends? Do I really? Huh. I don't know! I never had a new friend my age... or have I? No, I don't! Do I? Oh gosh, I don't-"

Comet lays in his bed unable to fall asleep. He fearfully looks around his dark room. Suddenly, he hears a branch break from outside and hides under the bed. Suddenly, he hears another noise from outside and has reached his limit.
"DEMIPIE!!!!" Comet yells out in fear and is on the verge of crying due to that fear.
DemiPie's ears perk up as she quickly gets up from her bed. Her big sister's instincts immediately turn on. She rushes out of her room and runs to Comet's room. She opens the door and flips the light switch on. She sees a scared little Comet shivering in fear and hiding under the bed sheets.
"Oh, Comet..." She trots over to the bed and sits on it. She strokes his mane trying to calm him down, "There is nothing to fear. It's okay I'm here."
"D-DemiPie... I-I'm scared..." Comet says.
"It's okay Comet... just because you're a bat pony that does not mean you can't have fears!" DemiPie says with a small smile.
"Oh... I am sorry for being so scared... c-can I sleep with you big sister?.." Comet says.
"Anything for my little bat brother!! Awhhh... your little poofy bat ears are so cute!! I just don't understand why you hide it so much..." DemiPie says.
"W-well... you know... I-I am tired and want to sleep, so can we go to your room already?" Comet asks.
"Fine fine. Let's go." DemiPie says ruffling his mane.
DemiPie carries Comet and brings him towards her room. While she does this, she thinks to herself, "How can I get him to be more comfortable about his bat form? More importantly, how can I get him to be more comfortable in general? Hmmmm... Oh! I have an idea!"
DemiPie lays Comet down on her bed and turns off the lights ready to sleep. In the morning, she will have a big surprise for Comet.
The sun starts to rise meaning a new day has come. As the sun shines through the curtains Comet wakes up. He sees his sister has already awakened. He gets up and stretches. His mane still being messier than ever. He looks in a mirror and sees his bat wings. If only he had been more careful, he would have been a regular pegasus right now.
"OHHHH COMETTT!!! I have a surprise for you downstairs!!! Come down!!!" DemiPie yells out to him from downstairs.
Comet gets his cloth and puts it over his wings. He gets the cast and puts it on his hoof to cover up the bite mark and trots downstairs. He sees DemiPie in the living room smiling.
"What is it, big sister?" Comet asks.
"Well! I have seen how lonely you have been lately!! So... I got you a friend!! Say hello to the one and only... Wilted Bloom!!!" DemiPie says moving out of the way to reveal Wilted.
"Oh! Uh... how did I get here?" Wilted says.
"Wilted!! I want you to meet my little brother!! Comet!! Comet this is my friend!! As well as DemiRarity's son! Wilted Bloom! Say hi to each other!" DemiPie says in excitement.
"Uh... hi... I am Comet!! Comet Bronze to be more... formal?" Comet says.
"I am Wilted! Wilted Bloom. It is nice to meet you Comet!! DemiPie has mentioned you at least once or twice before!" Wilted says.
"She has?.. Oh... that's uh nice..." Comet says.
"I will leave you two to bond!! I have some parties to host!!" DemiPie says as she climbs up a rope that was not there before and disappears.
"So! Comet!! Do you want to be-"
"Friends!? Yes!! Yes yes!! I have always wanted another friend!! I have made friends with some plusle named Brensle but never with another pony!! I would love to be friends!! Am I talking too much!? Probably not right?! Am I?! Please tell me-" Comet is cut off with Wilted laughing.
"It's okay!! You are just excited that is all! Oh and YAYY!! We're friends now!! How did you know I was going to ask that anyway?" Wilted asks.
"I don't know!! I guess I just did!! I am so so happy we are friends now Wilted Bloom!! I just cannot believe we are friends!!! What do you want to do?! Do you want to try baking?! Try playing sports with me?! Play some games?! Hang out?! Am I talking a lot again?! I am sorry I can't control it!! Am I still doing it?!" Comet says excitedly.
"Yeah! You kinda are. But that's okay!! Hey!! Why don't we get to know each other more!" Wilted asks.
"Yes yes!! Okay! I am Comet Bronze!! I am DemiPie's little brother! I am interested in sports.. and I also really like fruit!! Oh! And I am a uhh.. pegasus." Comet says.
"That is interesting!! I am Wilted Bloom, DemiRarity's son and I love to read!!" Wilted says.
"It is so so nice to know more about you!! WE ARE GONNA BE THE BESTEST OF FRIENDS!!" Comet says jumping up and down.
Comet continues to jump in excitement until the cloth he puts on his back to cover his wings falls off. Comet immediately stops and tries to catch it but fails. Wilted is soon revealed the truth about Comet. He is not a pegasus but a bat pony. Wilted gasps as soon as he sees the wings.
"You're.. a bat pony?" Wilted says in shock.
"U-uhhh... please don't be scared!! I-I don't bite I swear!! Y-you're not gonna leave me... right?.." Comet says a bit sad.
"What? No of course not!! This is actually sick! I have never seen a bat pony!! You look so adorable!! I knew there was something off with the puffy ears!! Oh! And that cast on the hoof which looks kind of believable but not really. I mean... And those fangs with you kinda failed to hide because of how excited you were." Wilted explains.
"Oh... sorry... I just hid it because... I didn't think you'd want to be my friend.." Comet says.
"What? Why would you think that!! Just because you're a bat pony that doesn't mean I want to stop being you're friend!!"
"Really?.."
"Really! Now! Let's go have some fun! Tag!! Haha!" Wilted says.

DemiShy sits in her cottage waiting and waiting for DemiJack to arrive at her cottage. She sits patiently. A bird comes through her window and drops a rolled-up scroll in front of her.
"Oh! I didn't know DemiJack was also good with animals... I wonder why she wrote to me instead of coming here like we planned to.." DemiShy picks up the scroll and opens it. she reads what it says.
Hey DemiShy! It's me, DemiJack! You might be thinkin and askin yourself why I wrote to you instead of headin' on over there and startin a conversation! Well, ah couldn't really come over there! Ah had to stay behind and take on some chores mah granny wanted meh to do! Obviously ah couldn't decline because she's mah granny and ah just had to do it for her! I was thinkin' we could do somethin' else! Maybe you can come on over here yerself! It might be a little packed! But one more pony doesn't hurt! Ah, hope you say yes and come over here! Your friend, DemiJack Apple.
DemiShy's eyes widen and she starts to panic a bit.
"No no! I can't go over there! There are way too many ponies! All those eyes staring at me... what if I do something embarrassing?! What if they don't like me?! What if they think my mane is ugly?! What if they question a lot?! Oh no... but I don't wanna say no to DemiJack.. come on DemiShy! Be brave! I am sure it won't be that bad! I will just avoid all the other ponies! Yep!" DemiShy reassures herself it won't be as bad as she's making it seem.
DemiShy heads outside her cottage after feeding each one of her animals. She slowly makes her way into DemiVille. She sees all of the ponies walking along. She wishes it was a busy day that way there wouldn't be as many ponies. She starts to fly up into the skies and to the farm. After a bit of flying and hiding from other pegasi, she makes it to the farm. DemiJack is outside bucking some apple trees. She spots DemiShy and motions for her to come forward. DemiShy flies over to her.
"Sorry ah couldn't make it! Ah didn't wanna make my granny work extra. She does need her rest!" DemiJack says.
"Oh, it is certainly fine! I wouldn't wanna make my granny work extra too either... it was very kind of you to be doing the job for her.." DemiShy says
"Mhm! Care for an apple?" DemiJack offers
DemiShy takes the apple and immediately bites into it. She looks around and is suddenly confused.
"Where are the other ponies? You said it would be packed..."
"There they are!" DemiJack says pointing in a certain direction.
A bunch of ponies suddenly come running at the two. The whole place is suddenly filled up with a bunch of noise. Voices are being talked over and many ponies talking. DemiShy is immediately startled. Her heart starts to race a bit but she manages to keep her calm. She suddenly sees a few ponies looking at her.
"These ponies are all mah family! Ah got the whole family tree now huh?" DemiJack says.
"Y-you.. sure do..." DemiShy says
"Oooo! Look at your mane!" one of the ponies says to DemiShy
"No no! Her eyes! Her eyes!" Another one of them says.
DemiShy is immediately panicked looking around. She tries to calm herself down but can't. DemiJack looks at her a bit concerned.
"Sugarcube? Are you okay? You don't seem to be doin' fine.." DemiJack asks concerned for DemiShy.
"I-I am... fine.." DemiShy says hiding herself with her mane. She can feel that some ponies are looking at her.
DemiShy continues to do this. DemiJack continues to buck apples off of trees but is still concerned. DemiShy shivers more and more as she feels more and more ponies stare at her. DemiJack goes up to DemiShy
"Are you sure you are okay? You seem to be a bit scared. Ah, promise you these ponies are harmless. They are just a bit curious! Why don't you get to know one of em? Oh! Ah got the perfect pony!" DemiJack says trotting over to a specific pony.
"T-thanks DemiJack But I-" DemiShy is immediately cut off when DemiJack comes back with a filly.
"Heya! Ah, am DemiBloom! Ah, assume yer DemiShy?" The small filly says.
"Y-yes.. I am DemiShy... I-its nice to meet you DemiBloom.." DemiShy says.
"Ah got the perfect idea DemiBloom! Why don't you introduce DemiShy to the WHOLE family?" DemiJack says
"You're right! Come on DemiShy!" DemiBloom grabs DemiShy's hoof and brings her in the middle of a crowd.
DemiShy's heart races faster as her thoughts are replaced with pure fear and anxiety. She wanted to fly out of there as fast as she could but she couldn't move. Her body wouldn't reply to what her mind tells it to do. She didn't know whether to cry or ask to get out. She wanted to run to DemiJack and admit she didn't wanna be there but she did not want to be rude. DemiBloom keeps saying names and names introducing each apple family member but DemiShy's eyes and thoughts blurry. Right when each family member started to walk up to her and started talking over each other she snapped.
"ENOUGH!" DemiShy screams out silencing everypony, "ENOUGH! I CAN'T TAKE THIS!" DemiShy runs into the barn crying and shivering in fear.
DemiJack looks over to DemiBloom, "What did you do? What happened?!" DemiJack asks
"Ah don't know! Ah was in the middle of introducing her when she just screamed!" DemiBloom says just as confused as DemiJack is.
DemiJAck walks into the barn looking for DemiShy. She sees the poor pony crying in a corner with a rabbit in her hooves. She sits down next to DemiShy.
"Hey, sugarcube... it's okay. What happened?" DemiJack asks.
"All the ponies DemiJack... I'm sorry..." Demishy says.
"What do ya mean? Oh. Do ya not like being around many ponies?"
"Exactly! I don't DemiJack... I'm sorry... I got so overwhelmed..." DemiShy says guilty
"No no DemiShy. No need to be sorry... its mah fault. I should have asked if you liked being around lots of ponies in the first place. Ah saw the signs but did not bother to ask you... say. Ah am already done with the chores. How about we go settle in at your place instead?" DemiJack says.
"I would.. like that," DemiShy says smiling.
The two head over to the small cottage. DemiShy is happy to not be around all those ponies again. DemiShy though did end up bringing DemiBloom over to her cottage as well.

The Ancient Empire (Part 1)
The moon sets and the sun rises. A new day has started for all ponies and dragons. Ponies start their morning activities in DemiVille as ponies in Canterlot do the same. Some water their flowers and some take care of their fillies and colts. Some go to school and some don't.
Princess SunRise sits on her throne filling out scrolls she needs to fill out. A guard comes running inside the throne room.
"Princess! We have crucial information you need to know!" The guard caught his breath and looked at the princess.
"We have gotten information from The Ancient Empire... that IT has returned."
Princess SunRise's expression immediately turns into one of pure shock and concern. She gets up from her throne and trots over to the balcony. She spreads out her wings ready to make pace to The Ancient Empire. Suddenly, she is hit with a wave of pain. She looks at her injured wings and realizes she has not fully recovered from being attacked by the changeling queen. She thinks about what to do. She suddenly gets an idea and starts writing a scroll to her faithful student.
DemiSpike is suddenly awakened by DemiTwi rushing around downstairs. DemiSpike walks downstairs only to see DemiTwi panicking over who knows what.
"Notes! Notes! Come on DemiTwi! If you want to pass this test, you will have to remember everything you learned! Where are my journals?! My pens?! Ugh!" DemiTwi says running around the library freaking out.
"Hey hey! What's going on?!" DemiSpike says clearly a bit mad about being woken up so early. \
"DemiSpike! This is a clear serious matter! Princess SunRise... called me... to the castle... FOR A TEST! I need everything for this test! Fetch me all my notes about everything I have learned!"
DemiSpike groans in annoyance and walks over to the table to grab a bunch of papers. He lays them flat in front of DemiTwi trying to stay awake.
"You know DemiTwi... this is not... THAT serious..." DemiSpike says.
DemiTwi looks at him with a face that cannot be described. Her face looks as if she is going to snap. DemiSpike immediately realizes his mistake and dives into a pile of pillows. He seemed to have been prepared for this for the longest.
"A TEST?! JUST A TEST?! AGHHH!!" DemiTwi yells out.
As soon as DemiTwi started yelling and freaking out a sudden burst of magic was shot out from her horn. DemiSpike gets out from the pile of the pillows after DemiTwi calmed down.
"Easy Easy! I am sure you can ace this test! I know you can!" DemiSpike says.
After a bit DemiTwi and DemiSpike head to the train station. Of course, some friends decided to tag along on this adventure they were not expecting.
"You guys seriously did not need to come along with me... I will just be taking a test and probably heading back." DemiTwi says.
"Well... we just thought you needed a bit of support! You know?" DemiDash says.
"Yeah! What's so bad about supporting our friend on her very important secret test? Ooooo! I will make sure to give you a "Perfect Score On Test Party!" DemiPie says.
"Uhhh... You okay buddy?" Jasper asks DemiSpike who seems to be looking at him zoning out.
"He's probably just tired," Brensle says covering up the truth.
"AHHHH!! CANTERLOT!! E!!" DemiPie screams out excitedly as the train stops.
The group gets off the train and heads towards the entrance of Canterlot. The group continues making pace and heads inside Canterlot. The group converses while DemiTwi continues to overthink what could be on this test.
"Good luck DemiTwi! I know you will pass!" Brensle says.
"Yeahh! Go ace that test!" DemiDash yells out.
"You can do this!! I pinkie promise!" DemiPie says.
"Thanks, you three... oh! And Demisp-"
"Stay calm DemiSpike! Stay calm! For DemiTwi! For DemiTwi!!" DemiSpike says panicking.
"Uhm... I think he means you can do this. I believe in you DemiTwi." Jasper says rubbing DemiSpike's back to calm him down.
"Alright... I can do this!" DemiTwi says as she walks straight into the castle.
DemiTwi walks slowly through the castle halls. She tries to keep calm and continue walking. She looks at all the fancy-looking paintings in the hallway. She stops at one. She notices a painting of SunRise and another pony whose face seems to be scratched out. Now noticing it, the whole pony is scratched out. She looks some more and thinks to herself, "Did somepony try to cover the pony up or was this just part of the painting?" She shrugs it off and continues making her way to the throne room hallway. Before she realizes it, she is standing in front of the doors to the throne room. She takes a deep breath and steps a hoof inside after opening the doors. She sees Princess Sunrise sitting on her throne.
"Princess Sunrise?.. I received your letter and came as fast as I could... I brought all my notes! I brought my journals, scrolls, notes, and pens! I am ready!" DemiTwi says.
DemiTwi starts to get everything out of her bag. Papers flying everywhere and pens falling everywhere. Princess Sunrise watches until she finally speaks up.
"This is a different kind of test." Princess Sunrise says putting everything back into DemiTwi's bag.
"What do you mean? How different can this test be?.." DemiTwi asks confused.
"Have you heard of The Ancient Empire?" Princess SunRise asks.
"T-The Ancient Empire?! I am so sorry! I must have not studied hard enough! I haven't read about that anywhere!! I don't have any books on-"
"There wouldn't be." Princess Sunrise interrupted.
DemiTwi looks up from her book and stares at Princess Sunrise confused. Princess Sunrise trots to the stand next to her throne and opens the jar. She levitates a crystal and walks back to DemiTwi showing her the crystal.
"The Ancient Empire had been gone for so long. It would be a miracle if a pony even knew about it at all these moons." Princess Sunrise starts to project a visual of the empire with her magic and the crystal.
"The magic of the empire is powerful. Long ago, a unicorn whose heart was as black as night took over The Ancient Empire. He made all of the crystal ponies slaves. Making them do whatever he desired. His name was DarkFog. "
"Crystal ponies?..."
"The crystal ponies are the citizens of The Ancient Empire. These ponies contain a very special magic. These ponies are very unique compared to the regular Unicorn, earth pony, or pegasus. These ponies can spread the light of love."
DemiTwi nods to reassure Princess Sunrise she is listening. She writes notes as Princess Sunrise keeps talking.
"Continuing the topic about Darkfog, He was ultimately overthrown and defeated."
Turned into shadow and banished to the ice of the arctic north. But he was fast enough to cast a spell and caused The Ancient Empire to disappear into thin air. The Empire was never seen since then and even my knowledge is limited. These crystals are powered by the crystal ponies. The whole empire as well. If love and hope fill the empire and crystals it is reflected upon all of Demiquestria."
But if hatred and fear take hold..."
Princess Sunrise stops using dark magic. She looks at DemiTwi tired. DemiTwi notices this and looks a bit worried. She is about to speak until Princess Sunrise speaks first.
"I don't even know myself. As I said my knowledge is very limited, but I do know that it'll be horrible... That's why I need YOU DemiTwi... I need you to find a way to protect The Ancient Empire. I would go by myself, but my wings are terribly injured, and my horn is still recovering... It is okay if you do not want to go. I know you know how dangerous this is considering how the threat has possibly returned." Princess Sunrise says understanding if DemiTwi does not want to go.
"No Princess... I am determined to protect the empire and its citizens! I will do this!" DemiTwi says determined.
"I am so grateful you are willing to do this for me... I feel particularly guilty, but I know there is no other way to protect these citizens. I believe in you DemiTwi. I know you will be the one to restore and save The Ancient Empire. You will do it." Princess Sunrise says watching as DemiTwi slowly but surely trots out of the throne room into the halls and out of the castle.
"Did you pass?! S+?!" DemiPie immediately screams out.
"S+ isn't a thing... So uh... DemiTwi... did you get a passing grade?" Brensle asks.
"Uh... that's the thing... I-"
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SHE FAILED!! NO NO!! I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE STUDIED WITH HER MORE!! IT'S MY FAULT!! IT'S MY-" DemiSpike yells out panicking before being interrupted.
"Calm down! Ugh... continue DemiTwi." DemiDash says.
"Get ready everypony... We're going to The Ancient Empire!!"
The rest of the group looks confused and look at one another.
"The what now?" DemiPie asks.
Transition. The group hopped on the train and headed to The Ancient Empire. They hop off the train after what feels like an hour.
"Oh my gosh! It is so cold!!" DemiPie says shivering.
"Yeah... where are we?! All I see is snow!" DemiDash says.
"Yeah. No empire to be spotted DemiTwi." Brensle adds.
"Hmm. Princess Sunrise said that the empire was hidden somewhere... finding it she said would be difficult due to that. I guess I didn't think about that part.." DemiTwi says.
"DEMITWI!" A sudden voice yells out.
DemiTwi's ears perk up at the voice. She seems to recognize it. She looks around trying to find where the voice came from.
"DemiTwi! It's me! DemiArmor!" DemiArmor yells out.
"DemiArmor!" DemiTwi says, "My brother! He's here!"
DemiArmor runs up to the group casting the shield again to protect them from the cold.
"What are you doing here? Last time I checked you were in Canterlot as one of the royal guards!" DemiTwi asks.
"I've been here not long after the empire was rediscovered. Princess Sunrise demanded I be here and try to protect it. Something keeps trying to get it and I have a theory it's the old unicorn king who tried to take over the empire moons ago. I am not sure it's that but due to all the evidence and lack of clues to prove or debunk the theory we could only assume it is him. Who are these friends you brought?" DemiArmor says.
"Oh! Uh, this isn't all of them. That's Brensle, DemiDash, DemiPie, Jasper, and you know who DemiSpike is." DemiTwi says.
"Hey to all of you. I am DemiArmor." DemiArmor says.
As soon as DemiArmor finishes his sentence something is heard. It sounds like a wolf howling but more distorted.
"What was that?!" DemiSpike says frightened.
"Come on! We have to move! That's the thing I was going to mention! We don't want to be out here when that thing is here! Follow me before we are spotted!"
The dark fog emerges from behind them. Green glowing eyes shine and look at them. The fog immediately starts chasing the group.
"RUN!!" DemiArmor screams.
The group starts running through the snow. DemiTwi teleports the group further away to ensure they will escape. DemiArmor stops and then aims his horn at the fog.
"Go! Go! The empire should be ahead! When you see a huge yellow-like bubble, head straight into it!" DemiArmor says.
"Come on! We have to move! I see the bubble!!" DemiTwi says continuing to run.
"Good! Because my paws are getting tired!!" Brensle says.
The group continued running till they ran into the bubble.
DemiTwi wakes up. She looks around and sees all of her friends in the same state waking up looking exhausted. She turns her head to where they came from. She sees DemiArmor fighting something off and closing the shield. He turns to DemiTwi. DemiTwi notices his horn. Dark crystals form on it as blood drips from where they are. DemiTwi gets up and runs towards him worried.
"I am fine DemiTwi... are all of you, okay?" DemiArmor asks turning to the rest of the group.
"I'm okay," Jasper says getting up.
"Ooof.. I think so.." DemiSpike says still on the ground.
"Need a hand?" Jasper lends out his hand to DemiSpike.
"O-oh! Uh... yeah... thanks!" He grabs Jasper's claw. He pulls him back to his feet. DemiSpike covers his blush.
"Woah... is this..." DemiTwi is too shocked to finish her sentence.
"The Ancient Empire," DemiArmor says finishing her sentence.
"Wait... but I'm wondering... if the empire is already protected why did Princess Sunrise say she needed me to find a way to protect it? I mean it can't enter the shield so that means it's already protected right?" DemiTwi asks confused.
"Oh yeah... why did she send DemiTwi then? Wait. This is your test?" DemiDash says.
"The empire is protected... but... it isn't permanent. Follow me. There is a pony I want you all to see. Oh. I know for sure DemiTwi will be happy to see her." DemiArmor says starting to trot toward the empire.
DemiTwi looks confused for a second but starts following him. The rest of the group followed along with the excitement of exploring an ancient empire that had been unseen for at least a thousand moons. DemiArmor gets ahead quickly. DemiTwi and her friends trot through the path. The empire seems rather... empty. No ponies are seen trotting around. Even the houses look so empty.
"Uh. This isn't empty." Jasper says.
"For an empire, this place feels so abandoned. Something does not feel right." DemiDash says.
DemiArmor heads inside what seems to be like a castle. The group stays outside admiring the view of it.
"Woah! It's a crystal castle!" DemiPie says
"That is literally what this place is," Brensle says.
"Oh yeahhhh!" DemiPie says.
"Come on! Let's head inside." DemiTwi says following DemiArmor inside.
The group heads inside the empire and is greeted with again a long hallway. The difference between the castle and Princess Sunrise's castle was how everything was crystal-like. Everything shined and everything was so nice. The hallways were nicely decorated and gave off a feeling of comfort in a way. DemiArmor stops in front of what DemiTwi assumed was the throne room doors.
"Here it is," DemiArmor says as he pushes open the doors. He motions for them to walk in.
DemiTwi was the first to walk in. DemiTwi looks around and sees open windows with nice curtains. She also sees how everything is crystal-like. She had not noticed the pony on the throne right in front of her.
"This throne room is pretty nice, eh?" DemiDash says.
"Yeah... but who is she?" DemiSpike says pointing to the pony on the throne.
"Her hm?" DemiArmor trots to the pony's side, "This here is my girlfriend... her name is Princess PureHeart."
The ponies each greet her. They also seem to notice how tired she seems to be but don't point it out to avoid causing anything. While the group seems to be happy about meeting her DemiTwi seems shocked.
"Wait wait!! You are PureHeart?!" DemiTwi says.
"Yes... I am! And who might you be?" Princess PureHeart asks.
"Pureheart its me! DemiTwi!"
Princess Pureheart thinks for a bit until her face turns into one of realization.
"DemiTwi?! The foal I used to foalsit?!" Princess PureHeart says.
"Yes Yes! Oh my gosh!! It's so great to see you! Since when did you start dating my brother?!" DemiTwi asks.
"Hehe. Don't ask so many questions DemiTwi!" Princess Pureheart giggles.
"Oooo!! OOO! Let's do the hoofshake! Please!!" DemiTwi says
"The one we used to do all that time ago? Sure! Let's see if you remember the moves!"
"Hehehe-" Suddenly Princess Pureheart is hit with a wave of exhaustion. She almost falls but catches herself.
"Woah woah! You okay?" Brensle says.
"Pureheart has been using her magic to protect the empire. It's why there's a huge shield around it. I've been trying to look outside to see what the thing that tried attacking us was, but I always fail. I am trying to look for a way to protect the empire without using her magic. I have tried asking the crystal ponies for information but none of them seem to know.. or remember." DemiArmor explains
"I'm fine DemiArmor.." Princess Pureheart says.
"She isn't fine. She has barely eaten and hasn't slept. If her magic runs out, then... well you saw what's waiting outside for that to happen."
"Woah woah! Okay... that's a bit scary..." DemiDash says.
"Wait. You said... crystal ponies?" Jasper asks.
"Both crystal ponies and dragons. They are this empire's citizens. I was just as confused when I heard this. But that's not the point. We need to find a way to protect the empire without having to use Pureheart's magic." DemiArmor continues.
"Hm... oh! I have an idea! Don't worry. We will find a way to protect the empire." DemiTwi says.
"Thank you DemiTwi... to all of you," DemiArmor says. Princess PureHeart continues standing there looking tired and looking as if she's about to collapse any second now.
"It's no problem. Come on guys. Let's go and solve this problem!" Brensle says.
After a bit of conversation, DemiTwi and her friends trot out of the throne room and outside the castle. Each of them decided on what to do.
"Maybe we can find something? Like clues?" DemiPie suggests.
"Better idea! Maybe we can ask the crystal ponies what they know? I know DemiArmor said they don't remember anything but maybe they remember now? It doesn't hurt to try!" DemiSpike says.
"Good idea DemiSpike! Okay. I'll stick with DemiDash. Jasper will go with DemiSpike and DemiPie will go with Brensle." DemiTwi says
"Got it!" Brensle says.
"YAY!! O-oh... I mean... ahem... Okay!" DemiSpike says embarrassed.
"Got it DemiTwi," Jasper says.
"Alright, DemiTwi! Let's go!" DemiDash says dashing off.
DemiTwi follows DemiDash wherever she goes. DemiDash stops at a random house and knocks. DemiTwi and DemiDash wait for someone to open the door.
"I don't think anypony is going to answer, DemiDash..." As soon as DemiTwi says this the door opens revealing a pony.
The pony stands there looking tired and stressed. DemiTwi is the first to realize that this Crystal pony doesn't really seem that... crystally.
"We just wanted to ask if... you know anything about how the empire protected itself back in the day?" DemiTwi asks.
"Oh... uhm... I am sorry but I can't remember anything before... h-he... took over..." The pony suddenly flinches from a flashback she gets, "I-I don't want to remember!" The pony closes the door.
"That was weird huh?" DemiDash says.
"Yeah... I hope the others are having better luck." DemiTwi says.
Meanwhile with Brensle and DemiPie. The two are talking to two ponies who seem to be a couple. The two ponies seem so down which does not help with what Brensle and DemiPie are trying to get answered.
"So... you don't know or remember anything?" Brensle says.
"No... sorry..." One of the crystal ponies says.
"Oh... I hope the others are doing way better..." DemiPie says.
Jasper and DemiSpike can't seem to find any ponies trotting throughout the paths. As soon as hope seems lost, they see a crystal dragon!
"DemiSpike, look! A crystal dragon! We can go talk to them!" Jasper says.
"Yeah! Let's go! The faster the better!" DemiSpike says.
The two go up to the dragon. DemiSpike stops and stares in a bit of shock.
"Hello! We were just coming to ask if you knew anything about how the empire used to cast that huge shield thingy back in the day." Jasper asks the dragon.
"Shield?... thingy? I don't know what you're talking about... sorry..." The dragon says.
"That's okay. Come on DemiSpike let's go. We have to go back with the others." Jasper says holding his claw and leading him back.
DemiSpike stares wide-eyed at the crystal dragon. That dragon and Jasper looked almost exactly the same.
DemiTwi and DemiDash wait at the center of the empire. DemiPie and Brensle are the first to arrive.
"Did you get anything? Anything at all." DemiTwi asks.
"No... sorry. These ponies seem to have some sort of Amnesia or something." Brensle says.
The two dragons come walking back to the group right after Brensle finishes his sentence.
"What about you two?" DemiDash says.
"Nothing. Though on the way back here we did spot a library. Maybe we can get some information from there?" Jasper says.
"OH MY SUNRISE! You're right!! How could I have not thought of that?! Why didn't you say that sooner?!" DemiTwi says.
"I thought he just did? I mean he did! Because he's so smart!" DemiSpike says.
"Gee... what are you his boyfriend?" DemiDash says.
"I-" DemiSpike stutters before DemiTwi interrupts.
"Come on! Let's go!!" DemiTwi says.
They start heading to the library following Jasper. DemiSpike follows behind blushing intensely. Brensle falls behind on purpose to walk next to DemiSpike.
"Gee.. You need to practice not making it obvious you know? You went from pink to red easily with that comment. Is what DemiDash said true though? Hmmm? Hmm?" Brensle says teasingly.
"What?! No! Shut up!! I just uhm... it's natural!" DemiSpike said lying.
"Sureeeeee." Brensle says.
They finally make it to the library. DemiPie and DemiDash head in. DemiTwi stops midway.
"You three can stay outside if you want. We don't know how long this is going to take. I just hope it doesn't take long before... the shield fades..." DemiTwi says.
"We will try and gather more information from the crystal citizens in the meantime," Brensle says.
DemiTwi nods and heads into the library. There DemiDash and DemiPie are grabbing books and books.
"Hey! We have to find the librarian first! Maybe she knows where the book we're trying to look for is!" DemiTwi says.
"Oooo! Like that one?" DemiPie says pointing to a pony who's roaming around.
"Perfect! Uhm... excuse me?" DemiTwi says.
The pony turns to her, "Oh! Uh.. how may I assist you?" The librarian says.
"We were just wondering if you could help us with finding a book! One about the history of this very empire." DemiTwi says.
"oh okay yes!" The pony says.
DemiTwi, DemiDash, and DemiPie wait there in front of the pony. The three are very confused because the librarian hasn't even moved.
"So uh... where is it?" DemiDash asks.
"I... I don't really know... I don't even know if I work here..." The pony says confused and a bit scared.
DemiDash groans but DemiPie keeps her smile on.
"That's okay! We will just find it ourselves!" DemiTwi says as she watches the pony walk away.
The three decide to spread out to find the book they are looking for. DemiTwi heads on to the upstairs while DemiDash and DemiPie handle the bottom floor. DemiDash and DemiPie grab a huge pile of books and settle down in the middle where there's a table. DemiTwi also grabs a pile of books and heads over to where DemiPie and DemiDash are. After a long 30 minutes, the group found nothing. DemiDash groans and lies there as DemiPie continues looking through books. DemiTwi levitates book after book trying to find at least something about the history of the empire.
"Ooo! Ooo! I found a book!" DemiPie shouts out.
"DemiPie we don't need another baking book! Also, it's a library keep it down!" DemiTwi says.
"Oh... so we aren't looking for a book called History of The Ancient Empire ?" DemiPie says.
"What?! Give me that!" DemiTwi says.
After the three have found the book they head out of the library. The other three of the group see them and group back up with them. After a bit of conversation, they make their way back to the castle. After they head inside they go into the throne room. DemiTwi stands in front of DemiArmor and Princess Pureheart about their discovery. She reads the book to the two.
"A 'Crystal Faire'. According to this book, it was established by their first queen and became their most important tradition. The Faire was held every year to renew the spirit of love and unity in the empire so they could protect it from harm. This must mean that because they have so low spirits the empire is not protected. If we can put this faire together and renew their spirits the shield can probably be immediately put together and stop the threat! My friends and I can do this!" DemiTwi says.
"That sounds like an amazing plan," DemiArmor says with a smile until looking at Princess Pureheart. His smile fades.
"We will get started on this immediately. Come on guys! We have a crystal faire to put together!" DemiTwi says.
DemiTwi and her friends head on outside and get started. They made sure to put everything just as how the book said. After a long hour or two it was finally set. DemiTwi trotted into the castle to get DemiArmor and Princess Pureheart to the balcony for the announcement. Meanwhile with DemiDash and Brensle.
"What's this?" DemiDash asks looking at the "Ancient Heart".
"The book mentioned something about there being an ancient heart also known as the crystal heart to some," Brensle says.
Back with DemiTwi, DemiArmor, and Princess Pureheart.
"Ahem... HEAR YE HEAR YE! Princess Pureheart and Prince DemiArmor do cordially invite you to attend the Crystal Faire! Please! Enjoy yourselves!" DemiTwi says yelling at the top of her lungs for all the crystal ponies and dragons to hear.
The crystal ponies and dragons slowly all show up. They all chatter amongst each other in confusion. They head out into the area where the Faire is being held.
"We got games over there! Food over here! Ooo! The crystal heart is over there too! Or is it the ancient heart?.. HM! I will just call it The Ancient Heart to be original from the original The Crystal Empire episode!" DemiPie says luring all the crystal ponies and dragons to the faire.
"Did she just say crystal heart?" One of the crystal dragons says. Another responds to them saying, "I think she did.."
The crystal ponies and dragon are now all around the faire trying things out and exploring.
"HAHA! We did an amazing job huh?! Right? Must be feeling a lot of love and unity right?" DemiDash says flying in front of one of the crystal ponies.
The crystal pony attempts to get away but is face to face with DemiDash not even a second later.
"Oh! You want some pie huh? Oh!" DemiDash turns around and grabs a pie, "Berry Pie?"
DemiDash turns back around only to see the pony gone, "What is it with these ponies?!" DemiDash says.
Two dragons are talking with each other. They both discuss what they remember and what they are starting to remember.
"I think I am starting to remember stuff... before the king took over." The crystal dragon says.
"Me too.." The other dragon says.
The two dragons stand there thinking before their crystal-form appearances shine!
"Oh my gosh! The Ancient Heart!!!" Both dragons yell out.
"Do you think they really have it?!" One of them yells out.
"of course we have it!! We can't have a crystal faire without The Ancient Heart, can't we?"
"Of course, we can't... the whole point of the crystal faire is to lift the spirits of the crystal dragons and ponies, so the light within them can power The Ancient Heart so the empire can stay protected from King DarkFog!" The librarian says before getting their crystal form, "I do work at a library!"
"Uhhh... what was that? About powering the heart?.." DemiDash asks.
"I just can't believe you found The Ancient Heart! King DarkFog said he had hidden it where we would never see it again! I hope it is still as strong as ever!! OOO! Corn!" The librarian walks away after saying this.
DemiDash immediately starts to panic a bit and starts flying quickly to where "the ancient heart" is. She covers the fake heart with a blanket she took from one of the events.
"What the?! DemiDash!" DemiTwi says confused.
"We have a problem!!" DemiDash says.
After DemiDash had explained everything DemiTwi immediately headed back to the balcony where DemiArmor and Princess Pureheart were.
"I-I didn't know it was an actual relic! The book never said anything about it being a relic! Wait... the page was ripped out! How did I not notice?!" DemiTwi says panicked.
"I-its alright... D-demi... DemiTwi.." Princess Pureheart struggles to get these words out and as she does she collapses.
DemiArmor catches her and looks towards DemiTwi, "DemiTwi!"
Princess Purehearts magic fades causing the shield to fade. A sudden howl is heard.
"No... He's back!" DemiTwi says
A sudden fog approaches the empire showing two glowing green eyes.

The Ancient Empire (Part 2)
Author's Note
Yes I know the some of the lines here are straight from the script. But the point of DemiStory is that its just friendship is magic but an alternate version so somethings are gonna stay the same. Let me explain who the threat is. The threat is a solo(For now) villain. (The DuoElements Of Evil, An inspired and revised version of other villains that are not mine. Revised to properly fit into the story due to story being revised and remade for story.) The original villains are the chaotic elements of evil. Though because of story problems only SOME will appear. The story is difficult to include all of them without having to change the story so much. A lot of things will change and some chapters will probably be remade. The story will continue. Nothing will be different for you all because the versions you all will see will probably be the revised versions first. In this case. This story will ONLY feature some of the chaotic elements of evil for best story possible. This goes for FiM characters as well. For one Maud Pie will not appear including all her other siblings. Comet is an original character replacing her. Sorry for lazy writing its 3 am goodnight. :P
The Ancient Empire (Part 2)
The fog surrounds the ancient empire. Princess Pureheart and DemiArmor watch as the scene turns into one of pure horror. DemiTwi starts to panic not knowing what to do. DemiArmor looks at Princess Pureheart. Princess Pureheart looks back scared.
"It's okay. I am here for you." DemiArmor says.
Princess Pureheart nods with a smile and gets up. She immediately performs her spell casting the shield back. The dark fog creature immediately notices this and tries to enter the shield. His horn is broken off leaving to what seems to be melting into the ground leaving a dark crystal. The dark fog screams out in pain. The shield is now all put back together. Princess Pureheart immediately almost falls back.
"I have to find the ancient heart!" DemiArmor says.
"No! I will. You have to stay here with Pureheart. She needs you." DemiTwi says.
"I'll get the crystal heart!!" DemiTwi says starting to gallop back inside the castle and downstairs. She thinks to herself and wonders where the heart could be. She gallops back outside the castle and gallops towards DemiDash.
"DemiDash!! I have a plan!" DemiTwi says.
"Oh yeah? How can I help? Need me to dash around and find that heart? Need me to beat up some pony who stole it?" DemiDash says getting into her fighting pose.
"I need you and the others to keep the crystal faire going!"
"What?! With that thing trying to break into the empire?!" DemiDash says.
"The whole purpose of the Crystal Faire is to lift the spirits of the Crystal Ponies and Crystal Dragons so that they can activate the Ancient Heart. If the Crystal Ponies and Dragons find out that King Darkfog is trying to take over the Empire again, their spirits are gonna be anything but lifted. It won't matter if I find the Ancient Heart. They won't be able to make it work. You have to keep them happy here at the Faire. If they can't power the heart... there might not even be an empire to save anymore. There might not even be crystal ponies or dragons to save either..." DemiTwi explains.
"Okay!! Keep the spirits of The Crystal Ponies and Dragons! Got it! Consider it done!" DemiDash says flying off.
DemiTwi starts to gallop around looking for potential clues to where The Ancient Heart could be hidden. DemiDash flies over to DemiPie and starts to whisper to her about what's happening.
"WHAT!?" DemiPie says out loud.
The crystal ponies and dragons around her look at her weirdly. Some even whisper to each other trying to figure out what is going on.
"I just... uh... figured out that they were offering little outfits for the dragons!! Haha?" DemiPie says.
DemiTwi gallops past DemiPie and DemiDash still trying to find clues on where The Ancient Heart is. DemiPie thinks to herself, "Please hurry DemiTwi... I don't know if we can keep the crystal ponies and dragons occupied." DemiPie then goes back to trying to distract the ponies and dragons. DemiDash goes to tell Brensle the news. Brensle stays near the fake heart trying to avoid any of the crystal ponies and dragons. DemiSpike is not aware of the situation while Jasper is. Jasper does not tell DemiSpike so he does not freak out. DemiTwi continues to gallop around until she stops. She runs out of ideas until she looks back at the castle. She suddenly gets an idea and starts to gallop back to the castle.
"It has to be in the castle! He must have been depending on the fact the crystal ponies and dragons would have been too scared to try and get the ancient heart from there. I have to get there as soon as possible. Princess Sunrise's test... she must want me to get the heart specifically!! That is how tests work right? I cannot fail her!" DemiTwi finally makes it inside the crystal castle ready to find the heart.
Meanwhile, DemiSpike, Brensle, and Jasper stand near the fake heart. Brensle keeps trying to avoid having the crystal ponies and dragons near the fake heart. Jasper helps out by trying to lure the crystal ponies and dragons by telling them DemiDash and DemiPie have fun events sorted out for them.
"Uhhh... Jasper? Why do we have to keep them away from the heart? Why is there a blanket or whatever over the heart as well? It doesn't make sense..." DemiSpike says.
"Uhm... we just need to... get them all high spirits before we show them the heart! Think of it as a big surprise! How about you go uh... explore the castle? You know? There might be some books on the power ponies there. I heard they have a mini library there." Jasper says.
"Hm... okay! I'll be sure to tell you all about it if there is a book about them there!" DemiSpike says.
Jasper watches DemiSpike run into the castle. Brensle in the meantime continues to lead ponies and dragons away from the fake heart. He struggles as the ponies and dragons get more and more curious.
DemiTwi flips over statues, paintings, and even carpets trying to find the real ancient heart. She runs around more and more looking for anything that could look like The Ancient Heart. She runs into the throne room and tries to look for clues in there. She then looks at the throne and remembers what Princess SunRise said.
"These crystals are powered by the crystal ponies. The whole empire as well. If love and hope fill the empire and crystals it is reflected upon all of Demiquestria. But if hatred and fear take hold..."
"That's it!! This is where he hid The Ancient Heart!! When he was in power here... the throne room for sure did not look like this!!" DemiTwi exclaims.
DemiTwi then starts to use her magic. Her usual blue magic starts to darken. It then starts to project black magic with purple and green to the crystal right on top of the throne.
It then reveals a secret room on the floor with stairs leading to what seems to be a never-ending void. DemiTwi lights up her horn and starts to trot down the stairs hoping that The Ancient Heart is down there waiting to be found.
DemiSpike runs around looking for the mini library that was apparently in the castle. He then finds the throne room and realizes something different about it. Suddenly there's a light flashing from the window. He runs over to one of the windows to see what's causing the flashing.
"What the?" DemiSpike says.
The shield that is protecting the empire seems to be getting weaker and weaker. DemiSpike wonders why this is happening. Is there something he does not know happening behind the scenes? Is there something his friends are hiding from him?
"What is- Woah! Why is there a huge hole in the floor? That was not there before..." DemiSpike says.
DemiTwi finally makes it to the bottom of the staircase. She looks around and sees a door. She smiles thinking she has finally found where The Ancient Heart is hidden. She tries to open the door, but the door moves out of her way. She tries to open it again only for it to move again.
"What the?! Stop it!!" DemiTwi says trying to open the door again.
"The more frustrated DemiTwi gets the more her magic seems to turn dark. Suddenly she shoots dark magic at the door causing it to open.
"I did it! I did it!! Ancient Heart here I come!!" DemiTwi says.
DemiTwi then finds herself in the Canterlot castle. She looks around confused. She could have sworn she was just at the empire. Why is she here she wonders.
"What are you doing here?" Princess Sunrise says sitting on her throne.
"I-I don't know! I walked through a door then-"
"And now you must leave! You failed your test DemiTwi! And for me to have put all my faith in you..." Princess Sunrise says
DemiTwi's eyes widen. She couldn't believe what she was hearing from her own mentor.
"What?! But-"
"And not only will you not be moving to the next level of your studies. You won't be continuing your studies at all! Get out of my sight." Princess SunRise says.
Princess SunRise turns away from her. DemiTwi's eyes tear up from what she had just been told. She turns her head to a stained glass. The stained glass shows Darkfog grabbing the ancient heart with the ponies and dragons bowing to his will. DemiTwi starts to sob. A faint voice starts to call out her name.
"DemiTwi!! DemiTwi!!"
DemiTwi soon snaps out of it and looks around to see what is calling her. DemiSpike runs down the stairs and runs up to DemiTwi.
"DemiTwi! What happened?! Why weren't you responding?! You scared me so bad I thought you were like... I don't know! Wait... what were you even looking at? There's nothing here... I mean... it's just a wall." DemiSpike says. DemiTwi watches DemiSpike as the dark magic starts to be used on DemiSpike.
DemiSpike's eyes turn a bright green.
"W-what? Ponyville? But- what?! Y-you're sending me away?! Please DemiTwi!! I-I don't want to go!! T-the other dragons are mean!! Please!!" DemiSpike starts to cry to sob to himself.
DemiTwi slams the door shut making DemiSpike back to normal. DemiSpike wipes the tears off and looks at DemiTwi.
"King Darkfog's dark magic! A door that leads to your worst fear." DemiTwi says.
"We were home... you said you didn't w-want me anymore b-because-"
"A fear that would never come to pass. I love you for who you are DemiSpike. Fur or not."
DemiTwi says hugging him tight, "And I am not going to fail my test!"
DemiSpike hugs her back relieved that what he saw was not real. DemiTwi shoots magic at the crystal on top of the door causing it to shine. DemiSpike watches amazed at this. The door slowly opens. DemiTwi quickly trots through it. She looks around.
"What's in there?" DemiSpike asks.
DemiTwi looks up only to see stairs.
"Stairs... lots and lots of stairs..." DemiTwi says.
DemiSpike sits down and watches as DemiTwi trots up the stairs. DemiTwi looks back at DemiSpike and sees him waiting.
"Maybe you should come with me... okay?" DemiTwi says.
DemiSpike jumps up and runs over to DemiTwi happily. He jumps on her back smiling. The two then start to trot up the stairs ready to get The Ancient Heart.
The Ancient Heart is now surrounded by a bunch of crystal ponies and dragons. Brensle backs up to the point where he is right in front of the heart. DemiDash panics a bit while Jasper tries to come up with a solution.
"Oh no... this is bad!!" Brensle says as the shield around the empire starts to glitch more and more.
"We can't just give up!! I am sure DemiTwi will find the heart quickly! The princess is not looking too good... but with the heart, we won't be needing her magic anyways!!" DemiDash says.
"It better be quick!! These dragons and ponies are too curious!! I don't know if I can hold them back much longer!!" Jasper says.
"True true!! Even I can't keep juggling all these flugelhorns at once!! AHH!" DemiPie suddenly falls accidentally throwing one of the flugelhorns.
The flugel horn hits the fake heart revealing it. The fake heart rolls over to the crystal ponies and dragons revealing the truth to them.
"This isn't The Ancient Heart..." One of the crystal ponies says.
"U-uhhh... of course it isn't! The real heart is being... uh..." Brensle tries to come up with an excuse.
"On its way!!" DemiDash says.
"Seriously?! That barely buys us any time!!" Jasper says.
"As if you had anything better!!" DemiDash says.
"Maybe the heart being polished would have bought us more time!!" Jasper says.
"...oh," DemiDash says.
The shield starts to glitch out more and more. The crystal ponies and dragons start to panic noticing this.
DemiTwi and DemiSpike continue up the stairs. DemiTwi is tired from how many stairs there are and DemiSpike is bored.
"What if this is just another one of King Darkfog's magic? He made a door that led to our greatest fears... why not a staircase that leads to... wait... why are we here?" DemiSpike says.
"Uhhh... uhm... okay look. Don't panic, okay? Ahem... So apparently The Ancient Heart is a relic that protects the empire so now we need to find it because without it the empire is not protected and if the empire is not protected then King Darkfog who has returned will take over the empire which will lead to the crystal ponies and dragons being slaves again and if not slaves then killed!!" DemiTwi said quickly.
DemiSpike looks at her. Not saying a word and not panicking at least.
"Oh good! I thought you were-"
"DEMITWI, WE NEED TO FIND THE ANCIENT HEART!!" DemiSpike screams out suddenly.
"Okay okay calm down!! Hm... wait!! I have an idea!! Hold on to me, okay?" DemiTwi says starting to perform a spell.
"Uhm... DemiTwi? What are you doing?" DemiSpike says.
Suddenly DemiTwi and DemiSpike are flipped around and are sliding on the bottom of the stairs. DemiTwi slides and slides with DemiSpike on her back.
"I have actually studied gravity spells thinking it was going to be on my next test!! I am so glad I have thought of this!!" DemiTwi says
"Yeah! This is going to be a breeze!!" DemiSpike says.
Suddenly the two reach the end of the staircase. DemiTwi quickly disables the gravity spell to avoid flying up and falls on the floor with DemiSpike. She gets up and her eyes are met with the real ancient heart!!
"We did it!! We really did it!!" DemiTwi says.
"Come on! Get the heart... the shield is fading faster and faster!!" DemiSpike says.
DemiTwi looks outside and sees the shield fading more and more. She quickly gallops towards the heart and grabs it. She trots back over to DemiSpike with the heart.
"We got it!! Okay, hold still!! I'm gonna teleport us out of here!!" DemiTwi says as she lights her horn up getting ready to do the spell.
Suddenly she is hit with a blast of dark magic. The heart falls out of her hooves as she falls to the floor. She looks up to see the dark king standing right in front of her. Her eyes widen seeing King Darkfog right in front of her. She looks out and sees the empire slowly being turned into a dark crystal version of itself. She turns back at the king in fear.
"DEMISPIKE!! YOU HAVE TO GET THE HEART TO PRINCESS PUREHEART!! NOW!!" DemiTwi shouts. She uses her magic to try and hold King Darkfog still.
"W-what?! But you fail-"
"GO!!" DemiTwi says.
"Let go you waste of pony space!!" The king yells. He counters the spell and faces DemiSpike.
DemiSpike grabs the heart quickly and backs up in fear. He looks down to see the balcony. He sees his friends there trying to calm the crystal ponies and dragons from the surroundings. He looks back at King DarkFog who is rapidly approaching him and an injured DemiTwi who is struggling to get back up. He closes his eyes and attempts to jump down to the balcony from where his friends are but is grabbed by the leg by King DarkFog.
"Did you really think YOU could stop me from taking back my slaves?! It's pathetic to see how a furry dragon tried playing hero..." King DarkFog says.
"Stop!!" DemiTwi says.
DemiTwi gets back up and starts to gallop with her magic ready to attack. King DarkFog's eyes turn green causing dark crystals to grow out of the ground. DemiTwi's hooves are stabbed with the crystals causing her to scream out in pain. King DarkFog looks back at DemiSpike who is being held by the leg by him. His eyes turn a green and purple color glowing.
"Why even try to save this pathetic empire... When you can't even face your fears. " King DarkFog says.
"HELP ME!! SOMEPONY!!! HELP!!" DemiSpike cries out in fear as his eyes display a green color now.
He sees himself in Ponyville once again... being told to back to the dragon lands. He begs DemiTwi and his other friends to let him stay but they won't. He then remembers what DemiTwi had said before.
"A fear that would never come to pass. I love you for who you are DemiSpike. Fur or not."
DemiSpike's eyes turn back to normal. He kicks King DarkFog in the face with his other leg making him let go of him. DemiSpike finds himself falling and falling. He covers his eyes scared holding onto the heart.
"HELP!! I'M UP HERE!!" DemiSpike says falling.
"What? DemiSpike?" Brensle says confused until looking up.
DemiArmor looks up to see DemiSpike falling. He tries to think about what to do. He looks at DemiDash only to find her trying to calm down the ponies and the dragons from the fog rapidly approaching. He looks at Princess PureHeart and picks her up making her face DemiSpike. She slowly opens her eyes and sees the glow of The Ancient Heart. She spreads out her wings getting ready to fly. King DarkFog chases behind DemiSpike using crystals to avoid falling. He reaches out to him trying to capture him. Once again he captures him and gets ready to not only harm but kill him.
Suddenly DemiSpike is snatched out of his grasp! Princess PureHeart catches DemiSpike and holds The Ancient Heart as she soars through the sky!! She lands on the ground in front of the crystal ponies and dragons.
"Behold!! The Crystal Princess!" One of the crystal ponies says.
Princess PureHeart destroys the fake heart and places the real heart where it has to be.
"The Ancient Heart has returned. Use the light and love within you to ensure that King DarkFog does not." Princess PureHeart says.
The crystal ponies and dragons all bow down. Their coats/scales transform into their crystal forms. The heart starts to shine, removing all the dark crystals, and lights up the empire. King DarkFog watches irritated.
"What?! NO! No!!" King DarkFog says.
A sudden wave of light surrounds the empire and hits King DarkFog. King DarkFog starts to shatter one by one. He starts to yell out in pain before fading away from the light. Suddenly, Princess PureHeart gains a crystal form along with DemiSpike and his friends. Princess PureHeart flies up and stands next to DemiArmor. DemiSpike hops off her back and looks down at the crystal ponies and dragons cheering. Princess PureHeart and DemiArmor wave at the ponies and dragons cheering. DemiSpike looks up at the tower and sees DemiTwi looking down at them. DemiSpike feels a wave of guilt completing Princess Sunrise's test for her. DemiTwi gives him the look saying "Good Job" before going out of view to get to them.
DemiDash, DemiPie, Jasper, and even Brensle are shocked to see their crystal selves.
"Woah... I have never had a crystal form!! It's so cool!!" Brensle says.
"Mom would have liked this!!" Jasper says.
"I am 20% cooler now!! Haha!!" DemiDash says.
"EEEE!! Crystally!!" DemiPie exclaims.
"Awhhhh!! Look at you DemiSpike!! You look so cool!!" Jasper says running over to DemiSpike.
"Oh!! H-haha! Thanks!! Y-you... you too..." DemiSpike says.
Princess PureHeart gets an idea and uses her magic for something. She then says "Oh!" and gives DemiSpike a knowing look when he turns to her. DemiSpike immediately realizes what she has done. If the princess is a princess of love then she can tell when love is in the air. Especially with a spell to see who the dragon or pony is feeling love for.
After an hour the group finds themself leaving the empire. DemiTwi is carried by DemiDash due to her hooves being stabbed with the dark crystals. Princess PureHeart and DemiArmor trot beside them. They leave the group to head in the train. They wave goodbye and head back into the empire. DemiTwi from inside the train watches the empire come out of view. In the sky, there is a prism beam-like thing flowing through the sky coming in various colors.
"Uhm... DemiTwi?" DemiSpike says, "I-I'm sorry... I caused you to fail SunRise's test..." DemiSpike says feeling guilty.
"No no! It is okay... It isn't your fault. I was not willing to risk the futures of the citizens for my test. I am proud of you. I knew you could do it DemiSpike." DemiTwi says bringing him into a hug.
"I do wish the crystal effect was permanent! I looked so cool!!" Brensle says.
"Maybe next time we arrive!! Who knows?" DemiPie says.
"I hope!! I really liked being crystally!!" Jasper says.
"Hehehe." DemiTwi chuckles from the conversation going on.
"So!! I assume you're gonna get an A+ huh?" DemiDash says.
"...mhm! I have all the time to prepare!" DemiTwi says.
An hour flew by quickly. DemiTwi now stands in front of the throne room doors. Her breathing was pacing and shaky. Her heart beats in her stomach. She takes a deep breath and opens the throne room doors.
"DemiTwi! I was getting so worried! I was about to get the guards to go out and help you!! I assume your task went well... now that I pay attention closely and look at the prisbeam in the sky." Princess SunRise says.
"Yes... but I am afraid I have... failed your test..." DemiTwi says.
"What? What do you mean DemiTwi?" Princess SunRise says.
"It... wasn't me who caused all this... It wasn't me who caused the prisbeam... Nor was it me who brought the heart to the princess... it was DemiSpike... He brought the heart to Princess PureHeart because I was attacked by King DarkFog in the tower. I guess I will get an F..." DemiTwi says sad.
Princess SunRise stands there looking confused till she speaks again.
"DemiTwi, as I understand it, DemiSpike brought Princess PureHeart the Ancient Heart because you weren't sure how quickly you could find a way to escape the tower. You weren't willing to risk the future of the citizens of the Ancient Empire in an effort to guarantee your own. Far better that I have a student who understands the meaning of self-sacrifice than one who only looks out for her own best interests. Though, I never said it had to be YOU to save the empire. Even if the test was for you to get it specifically, I wouldn't have cared either way if another was to bring the heart to Princess PureHeart and not you. The point was for the empire to be protected. I am glad you got DemiSpike to deliver the heart to DemiSpike. You are a smart student." Princess SunRise says.
"Wait... does this mean I..."
"Yes! You passed DemiTwi. I knew you could do it!" Princess SunRise says.
DemiSpike and the others sit outside. DemiSpike panics thinking DemiTwi is gonna go crazy from failing while the others try to calm him down.
"She's gonna lose it!! What if she goes insane because she failed?! What if she hates me for the rest of her life?! What if-"
"Hey hey chill out! You're overreacting!!" DemiDash says and then whispers, " When are you not..."
"It's okay! Maybe... she passed! She's smart! She would never fail a test! ...right?" Brensle says.
"Of course! She would never fail! She's smart and all... but what if she fails?! What if I didn't give her enough flashcards?! What if I didn't study with her hard enough?! What-"
"Hey! Just calm down dragon! DemiTwi will be A-OK! I know it!! OOO! Here she comes! I already have all of the confetti cannons ready! I even brought my special occasion for when DemiTwi and her friends travel to the Ancient Empire which is The Crystal Empire counterpart from friendship is magic and save the empire from King DarkFog party cannon!!" DemiPie says.
DemiTwi trots in front of the group and looks down at the ground.
"Y-you failed?! Oh DemiTwi I am so sorry!! Y-you can ground me-"
"I PASSED!! WOOHOOO!!" DemiTwi yells out.
"PARTYYYY!! WOOHOOOOOO YEAHHH!!" DemiPie says shooting the party cannons.
DemiSpike is relieved to hear she has passed while the others cheer out celebrating.
"I-I knew everything would be okay!! Haha... phew..." DemiSpike says hopping on her back and resting after a long and tiring adventure. He is happy to know she has passed and everything turned out okay.
Somewhere dark and mysterious.
"DUMBASS DUMBASS DUMBASS!! AND I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA DO THE TRICK!! NO!! OF COURSE HE WAS DEFEATED!!! UGHHHH!!! No matter.. "So! You wanna join our crusadin eh?" DemiBloom asks.
"U-uh... well... I-I kind of-" Comet tries to say before being cut off.
"Comet is one of my best friends DemiBloom! He is really sweet once you get to know him. He should definitely join us!! That way we aren't just the DuoMark Crusaders! We are the TrioMark Crusaders! Please let him join DemiBloom!! Please!!" DemiLoo says.
"Alright! He is now an official Cutie Mark Crusader!" DemiBloom says," Alright! Let's get the introductions over with!"
"O-oh! Uh... I am Comet... I am a- uhm... as you c-can tell... a bat pony..." Comet says.
"Woah! A bat pony!! I have never met a bat pony! What do you like to do Comet?" DemiBloom asks.
"W-well... I like reading! I like to... sleep and I really like baking! My older sister is DemiPie! She has taught me a lot about baking and even taught me how to make pies!" Comet says.
"That is amazin! What are some hobbies of yours?" DemiBloom asks.
"Welll... Baking, reading, oh! And do not forget about sleeping!"
"...right. Well! I am DemiBloom as I have already said! I am DemiJack's younger sis. We love making sweet apple-"
"Apples?! Oh, I love apples! I also really like other fruits! Especially mangoes!" Comet says.
"Oh! That is nice. But as I was sayin... We love makin' sweet apple desserts! We also really like makin' other sweet apple desserts like apple cakes! Of course with DemiPie's help!" DemiBloom says.
"That is so cool!! It is nice so meet you DemiBloom!!" Comet says.
"Told you you'd like her Comet!" DemiLoo says.
"It is great timin too! We were just about to go and get out cutie marks!!" DemiBloom says.
"That sounds like fun!" Comet says.
"Let's go Cutie Mark Crusaders! We are gonna get our marks by... readin!" DemiBloom says.
"Heck yeah! Let's go!" DemiLoo says.
The three exit the clubhouse and gallop towards PonyVille. They search for the library. After a few minutes of searching, they finally found it! They gallop inside and immediately grab books. They sit down and start reading. After a few, they all grow bored.
"Ughhh!! This is so boring! I think I'd rather get a cutie mark dedicated to breathing oxygen than one for reading!" DemiLoo says.
"Ah guess this is kind of boring... right Comet?" DemiBloom says turning her head to Comet.
"Hehehe! This book about the three little pigs and the big bad wolf is a really great book!! Did you know the wolf tried to blow down the brick house but he couldn't because it was too strong? The ending was so good too! The three piggies lived happily ever after!" Comet says.
The two other crusaders look at each other confused and laugh. The three put the books back and trot out of the library. DemiBloom then gets an idea and leads them to DemiPie's bakery.
"We can get a cutie mark by baking!! Alright! First things first!! Get all of the ingredients!" DemiBloom says.
DemiLoo and Comet nod and grab the ingredients.
"Then preheat the oven!! Ah, think..."
DemiLoo puts the oven to... whatever she thought was best.
"Uhhh... maybe we should get my sis-"
"Alright!! Now- wait? Why do ah smell burnin if we haven't even put anything in the ov- WHAT THE?!" DemiBloom sees the scene that was happening right behind her.
"Uhm... I think my sister left something in the oven!! RUN!!" Comet says running out the bakery.
DemiLoo and DemiBloom scream running out the bakery. They catch their breath before walking off acting like nothing happened. DemiBloom and DemiLoo sigh knowing that neither of the two activities they had done didn't give them a cutie mark.
"Hey! It's okay... we might not have a cutie mark but what matters most is that we are friends right? Having awesome friends is way better than getting a cutie mark!" Comet says.
DemiLoo and DemiBloom listen and slowly smile. They then realize that Comet is right. A cutie mark does not matter in the end. Their friendship is what is really important!
"Yer right! Cutie marks shouldn't get in the way of our fun!" DemiBloom says.
"Yeah! I think I'd rather be a blank flank than lose my awesome friends!" DemiLoo says.
The three crusaders put their hoofs up and then say, "Cutie Mark Crusaders win!"

The sun rises meaning a new day has arrived for PonyVille! DemiTwi sits outside reading a book while DemiPie is annoying and disturbing her.
"WEE!! WOAH!!! YA!! TRAMPOLINE!!" DemiPie consistently yells out.
DemiTwi soon grows furious and annoyed.
"DemiPie!! I am busy! If you could be quieter, I would greatly appreciate it!! Where did you even get that trampoline from?!"
"You'll never know! Besides, what are you even doing anyways silly?" DemiPie says.
DemiSpike hears the question that was asked to DemiTwi and decides to respond for her.
"DemiTwi is trying to perform one of those spells that could teleport a carriage here! She needs it for all of us to go to The Grand Galloping Gala that is happening at Canterlot tonight!" DemiSpike says.
"WOAH!! That's happening today?! I so did not know!!" DemiPie says.
DemiTwi looks up from her book and faces her a bit confused.
"What? You didn't? Didn't you read that whole letter I sent you earlier? It stated clearly it was happening in paragraph 17!" DemiTwi says.
"Eeenope! I wasn't gonna read through a whole letter of your yapping DemiTwi! It was longer than a chapter book!" DemiPie says.
"It was only five pages of letters!"
"Yeah, each one had at least forty paragraphs! How do you even have the time to write all of that? A bigger question is, how did you even fit forty paragraphs into a single letter?!" DemiPie asks.
"Easy! I corrected my horn writing and made sure not to space out the words. I then made sure to write not too big and not too small!" DemiTwi explains.
"Wow, DemiTwi! You explained it as if I asked!" DemiPie says.
"Thanks! Wait, wha-"
DemiSpike interrupts reminding DemiTwi about her task.
"DemiTwi! The spell! I have been waiting to see ittt! I really wanna see how amazing it is!"
"Oh, right! Okay!" DemiTwi's horn lights up.
Suddenly, the group is shown a carriage! DemiTwi claps her hooves proud that she had performed the spell so well! DemiSpike is amazed to see that DemiTwi has done the spell so amazingly well.
"Hah! I did it! I am so good with magic!!" DemiTwi says.
"Great! Now we can go to The Grand Galloping Gala with no problem! We are already ready anyway!" DemiPie says before DemiRarity runs up to the three, dragging them to her boutique.
"AHH! DemiRarity?! What in the hay?!" DemiTwi says.
"ABSOLUTELY NO PONY TOLD ME WE WERE INVITED TO THE GRAND GALLOPING GALA! WE MUST ALL GET READY THIS INSTANT!! RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!" DemiRarity says.
"U-uhhh... DemiRarity? Can you calm down? It's not that big of a deal-" DemiSpike tries to finish.
"NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL?! WE WILL BE AT CANTERLOT WITH EVERYPONY DRESSED UP FANCY!! NOW HURRY UP!" DemiRarity says practically throwing the three inside her boutique.
"Bonkers DemiRarity! We get it!" DemiPie says.
"GOOD! Now, I have a variety of clothing you all should definitely choose from! HURRY UP!! The Grand Galloping Gala is in less than five hours!! We cannot use up our time yapping! GO GO!! I still have to go and get DemiJack, DemiShy, DemiDash, and Comet!! By the time I come back, I better see you all drenched in makeup! GO GO!!" DemiRarity says running back out of the boutique.
"WAIT!!! BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?! THERE'S ONLY STUFF FOR- ...females." DemiSpike says frowning
"It's alright DemiSpike. Maybe you'll... like the outfits?" DemiTwi said.
DemiSpike looked at her unamused.
"No," DemiSpike said.
DemiRarity soon returns with DemiDash, DemiShy, DemiJack, And Comet. She lays them on the floor and runs to get some makeup, accessories, etc.
"Ugh... she got y'all to?" DemiJack says looking over to DemiTwi who is almost ready.
"Yeah." DemiTwi says.
DemiShy gets up and trots over to DemiRarity who seems a little panicked.
"My my DemiRarity... how considerate you are to uh... warn us about The Grand Galloping Gala... but it really isn't that serious... I don't even think half the ponies there wear all these accessories and clothes... I don't even think ponies in general wear so many accessories..." DemiShy says.
"She is totally right! You also didn't have to drag me off my cloud to come over here! If you would have asked nicely I for sure would have come here myself!" DemiDash says.
DemiRarity looks at the two shocked and in disbelief.
"NOT IMPORTANT?! You two are speaking nonsense right now! The Grand Galloping Gala and an important event and if you two even dare go without being neatly dressed... then I'll have to force the dress on you! Is that understood?! DemiRarity says.
DemiDash and DemiShy look at each other and nod. They fly over to some of the outfits DemiRarity has given out to them and choose. DemiTwi is already done and decides to help out some of her friends with picking. She trots to Comet and starts talking to him.
"Hey!" DemiTwi says.
Comet flinches as if he wasn't expecting DemiTwi and looks at her. He gives a nervous wave.
"It's Comet, right? I don't think we have ever really had a proper conversation!" DemiTwi says.
"Yeah... U-uh... you're DemiTwi, right? DemiPie mentions you a lot to me... I never really noticed that we never had a conversation... uhm... sorry." Comet says.
"No no, it is fine! It is very nice to see you! Oh, you're a bat pony! Awh! You are so adorable!! I am so mad at myself for not talking to you sooner!"
"Hehe. Thank you DemiTwi! I have a question! Does this go well on me?" Comet asks as he puts on a bow.
"It does!" DemiTwi says.
"Oh! Okie! I'll definitely be using it then! Thanks, DemiTwi!" Comet says.
"No problem, Comet!" DemiTwi says.
Comet turns away trying to find out what to put on from DemiRarity's collection she set out for him. DemiTwi then trots over to DemiJack who is currently being assisted by DemiRarity. DemiRarity immediately shoos DemiTwi away because apparently, DemiJack isn't ready to be seen. DemiTwi then decides to wait and sit on a chair. She sits down and patiently waits for her friends to be ready.
Jasper comes running down the stairs and runs over to DemiRarity.
"Hope you're happy. This outfit is itching my scales every minute. Eugh!"
"Jasper! You look absolutely divine!" DemiRarity says.
"Uh-huh. Just so you know I look like I'm going to a funeral! Ughhhh." Jasper says annoyed,
"Don't be ridiculous. Where is your brother?"
"Probably suffering like me-"
Wilted comes down the stairs.
"I'm here! I am ready!" Wilted says smiling.
"There you are! You both look gorgeous! I have simply outdone myself! Now DemiJack STAY STILL!!" DemiRarity says fixing up DemiJack's mane.
DemiJack groans and tries to stay as still as possible. DemiDash and DemiShy stand beside DemiTwi waiting for everyone else with her.
"Dang it... dang it! There is literally nothing for males!! What kind of choices are these?!" DemiSpike says.
"Clothing types of course!" Brensle says appearing out of nowhere.
"GAHH!! What the?! Brensle don't do that! You scared me half to death you stupid... ugh!" DemiSpike says annoyed.
"Hehe, Sorry not sorry. Answering your question though, these are just clothing types."
"Yeah, none for me though. All of these are for females! I can't wear any of these!" DemiSpike says.
"Well.... I don't know about 'can't' buddy" Brensle says smirking.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"NO!"
"Come on! Why not! You know DemiRarity is just gonna force it on you anyways right?" Brensle says.
"She is not! Can't you just create me an outfit?!" DemiSpike says.
"Fine. But, under one condition." Brensle says
"Fine! What is it?" DemiSpike asks.
"You spend the whole night with Jasper without running off and hiding," Brensle says.
"WHAT?!" DemiSpike says.
"I'm just kidding!" Brensle says drawing an outfit that appears right after he finished drawing it.
Brensle gives DemiSpike the outfit and then whispers something in his ear, "I already know you are gonna be with him the whole time anyways." Brensle says
DemiSpike looks away annoyed but deep down he knows it's true. DemiSpike puts on the outfit and trots over to DemiTwi. After thirty minutes, everypony is ready!! DemiTwi lures them to the carriage.
"Uhm, babe?" DemiDash says.
"Yeah? What's up?" DemiTwi asks.
"How the hay are we even going to move?" DemiDash says.
DemiTwi pauses and then looks around.
"Oh yeah." DemiTwi says.
"Are you serious, DemiTwi? You thought about the carriage but not something to make it move? How does that even happen?" DemiSpike says.
"DemiTwi that was kind of a stupid move don't you think?" Brensle says.
"Whatever! How did you even get here?" DemiTwi asks.
"Same question I had." DemiSpike says unamused.
"Well it's whatever! Let me just teleport us there!" DemiTwi says lighting up her horn and teleporting the group there.
When the group is teleported in front of the castle doors they all seem excited. DemiRarity turns to Jasper.
"Alright, Jasper! Let's go and-"
"No. I'm pretty sure you knew I was gonna say that Mom. I'm not going to be in the middle of a huge crowd just to look at their outfits and gain 'inspiration'. I already told you that Mom. I even said it before you told me to get ready." Jasper says.
"Fine. I'll just take Wilted with me. You go do whatever you want I suppose." DemiRarity says.
Jasper turns away and starts walking to wherever he's walking. DemiSpike looks at Jasper and then turns to DemiTwi. DemiTwi rolls her eyes and says, "Yes, DemiSpike." DemiSpike jumps up and down happily and runs to follow Jasper.
"I can't wait to sell mah yummy apple desserts! Everypony is for sure going to love em!" DemiJack says.
"And I can't wait to meet The SuperBolts! I heard they were going to be here! I have to go now!!" DemiDash says flying away quickly.
"Oh... I heard there were so many pretty birds and adorable critters in the garden... I'll see you all later!" DemiShy says trotting away to the garden.
"Comet and I are going to make everypony giggle and laugh!! Let's go Comet!" DemiPie says carrying Comet into the castle.
"Uhm... sure!" Comet says.
"I'm going to try and spend time with Princess Sunrise! I'll go meet her right now! You all have fun!!" DemiTwi says galloping into the castle.
DemiJack trots to an area with many ponies roaming. She sets up her stand of delicious apple desserts and waits patiently for any pony to buy some. A pony comes up and orders an apple pie. DemiJack happily sells it to them and gains confidence. She hopes that many other ponies will find her apple dessert stand and happily order some.
"Ah just know a pony will find mah desserts good-lookin!" DemiJack says.
DemiDash flies around the castle until she sees The SuperBolts! She tries to fly towards them until she is stopped by a guard.
"HEY! What's the big idea huh?! You got a problem with me?!" DemiDash says mad.
"Sorry. You gotta wait in the back of the line like everypony else!" The guard says pointing to the back of the long line of ponies.
DemiDash groans and flies to the back annoyed that she has to wait at the back of the long line of ponies. She stops flying and now starts to wait with everypony else.
DemiShy trots through the beautiful garden. She looks around her amazed at how beautiful the garden is.
"Little birdies! It's me DemiShy! I am a friend please don't be scared..." DemiShy says.
DemiShy whistles trying to get the bird's attention but is met with silence. She tries to whistle again but gets no response.
"Oh... they must be scared... perhaps I should find them myself!" DemiShy says starting to trot around the garden.
DemiRarity and Wilted stand in the middle of the crowd looking at everypony with wonderful outfits. DemiRarity's eyes are met with inspiration for her next design. Wilted also looks around amazed at how much fashion there is.
"Oh, my Sunrise! This is so amazing! Look at all these divine outfits! I l-" DemiRarity is suddenly pushed almost falling.
"Hey! Watch where your- oof!'' DemiRarity is pushed again.
"Uhm... Mom? I think it's better we don't stand in the middle of a crowd..." Wilted says.
DemiRarity nods and trots to a table with Wilted. She sighs as she tries to look at everypony's outfit but can't due to such a long distance.
"Oh, now I know why Jasper didn't wanna come with me... this crowd does not have any manners!" DemiRarity says.
DemiPie enters the same room DemiRarity is in with Comet. She bounces in and stops.
"Oooo! It's time to have fun Comet! You stay here! By the time I'm done everypony will be laughing!!" DemiPie says.
"If you say so DemiPie..." Comet says not sure about this.
DemiPie starts bouncing around putting a party hat on everypony's head and giggling.
"COME ON, EVERYPONY! IT'S A PARTY!!" DemiPie yells out.
Everypony looks at her annoyed very bothered about her interrupting their interruptions and making such a ruckus. DemiPie stops bouncing and nervously trots back to Comet. She didn't expect this type of reaction from everypony.
"Yeah... uhm... never mind."
"I told you, DemiPie!" Comet says.
After a bit, DemiJack starts to notice that no pony wants to buy any of her desserts. She soon starts to give up until a pony comes up to her stand! She is relieved to see a pony probably willing to buy one of her desserts!
"What would ya like to get pal?" DemiJack says.
"Oh! I was just asking if you knew where I could see The SuperBolts." The pony says.
DemiJack's smile immediately fades. Her anger has reached her limit but she manages to answer in a calm tone.
"In... the castle," DemiJack says.
The pony nods and gallops towards the castle. DemiJack starts to disassemble her stand frustrated.
DemiDash is finally first in line to meet The SuperBolts! She steps forward until the guard stops her again. DemiDash watches The SuperBolts leave as the guard doesn't let her pass.
"HEY! It's my turn! Let me pass!" DemiDash says.
"Sorry ma'am. I am afraid The SuperBolts are now leaving." The guard says.
DemiDash immediately flies off in a rage.
DemiTwi stands next to Princess Sunrise. She shakes in excitement happy to finally be spending some time with her favorite mentor.
"I am so happy to be spending time with you Princess! I have been looking forward to this all day!" DemiTwi says.
"Me too Demi- Oh! Hello. As I was saying, I have- Oh yes welcome!" Princess Sunrise switches between the ponies entering and DemiTwi's conversation.
DemiTwi suddenly realizes that she might not be able to spend time with her mentor after all. She realizes the long line of ponies waiting to be greeted by the princess.
"It's alright, DemiTwi. You'll be able to spend time with her soon." Brensle says.
Meanwhile, DemiPie gets an idea and suddenly grabs a huge cake out of nowhere.
"DemiPie... what are you-" Comet tries to finish his sentence before DemiPie shouts.
"CAKE PARTY!! EVERYPONY GRAB CAKE!!!" DemiPie shouts at the top of her lungs.
Everypony looks at her annoyed and unamused by her childish behavior. DemiDash then comes flying in.
"UGHH!! STUPID PONIES!! STUPID BI- AHHH!!" DemiDash says crashing into the large cake DemiPie made.
A bunch of ponies are now covered in cake! DemiDash flies around unable to see due to the cake covering her eyes. DemiShy gallops in chasing animals that run inside.
"YOU WILL LOVE ME!!!" DemiShy says.
DemiDash accidentally crashes into DemiShy making her knock over a table. The table having water splashed DemiRarity in water making her soaked. DemiRarity screams because her perfect outfit is ruined. DemiJack trots in and sees everypony panicking and running around due to all the animals running around and the place being a complete mess. Suddenly a pony bumps into her making her almost fall. She then hits the huge statue in the middle of the room making it tumble down and hit the pillars making them fall as well. Everypony runs around panicking.
DemiTwi and Princess SunRise trot into the room seeing everypony and a lot of animals running around. The whole place is a mess. Princess Sunrise looks at DemiTwi concerned as DemiTwi looks back at her a bit embarrassed. DemiTwi immediately teleports her and her friends out of there leaving Princess SunRise confused and concerned about all the mess and ponies running around scared.
Jasper and DemiSpike sit at a table in a donut shop. DemiSpike eats his donut happily while Jasper watches him with a soft smile.
"Hehe, you're a bit of a messy eater." Jasper says.
DemiSpike blushes in embarrassment. Jasper grabs a napkin and wipes off the mess on DemiSpike's face.
"Thanks." DemiSpike says.
Jasper nods. DemiSpike then thinks about something and takes a deep breath.
"Uh... Jasper?"
Jasper looks at him and asks, "What's up?"
DemiSpike finally gets the courage to say what he has been wanting to say.
"Jasper... I-"
DemiTwi and her friends suddenly teleport in the room all withered and messed up.
"Agh... that was... THE WORST!" DemiRarity says.
"I agree!! It was too much chaos! Even for me!" Wilted says.
"DemiPie... I told you not to bring out a huge cake..." Comet says.
"I can't believe they didn't let me see the SuperBolts!!" DemiDash says.
"All the animals ran away from me.." DemiShy says.
"No pony wanted to buy my desserts!! This is rigged!!" DemiJack says.
"ENOUGH!!! ALL OF YOU!" DemiTwi says, "We ruined everything for Princess SunRise!! She's gonna be so m-"
"Ruined! You all didn't ruin anything!" Princess Sunrise interrupts DemiTwi.
"Wait... what? Am I hearing this right?!" DemiPie says.
"Yes, you are! In fact... you can't ruin something that has always been ruined!" Princess SunRise says.
"WHAT?! Always ruined?!" DemiTwi says shocked.
"Mhm! The Grand Galloping Gala is always ruined! It was always so boring... in fact, I was so happy you all were coming along because I knew you all would make it different!" Princess SunRise says.
"Wow... I guess I just... was so caught up with trying to spend time with you I forgot to even enjoy the event itself... I guess when you're with your friends everything is better!" DemiTwi says looking at her friends.
DemiSpike looks at the group chattering and having a good time. He then looks down a bit sad and says, "Maybe next time."
Brensle walks in holding a bouquet of flowers.

Everything Will Be Okay.
This is taking place way before DemiTwi and DemiSpike moved to PonyVille.
Living in Canterlot is hard for some ponies. It's also difficult for some dragons. Some dragons who are so happy and full of energy aren't always filled with that. Some ponies are so unhappy sometimes. Some ponies are so glad sometimes. DemiSpike always loved meeting new ponies. He loved making friends and hanging out with them. Sometimes, ponies were not nice. Other times they would tell him to get lost. It was worse enough that he was self-conscious of himself.
"DemiSpike? Are you home honey?" Dawning Sparkle yelled from the other room.
Dawning Sparkle was DemiTwi's mom who looked after him when DemiTwi couldn't. She trotted towards the front door to hug him like she always did.
"Hm? Oh... yeah I'm here..." DemiSpike says.
Dawning continued to hug him until pulling away from the hug. She noticed how down he was and asked, "Why do you look so down in the dumps?" DemiSpike had always come so... unhappy. He always answered that he was just tired.
"Tired," DemiSpike says.
Dawning looked at him. She always didn't know whether to believe him or not but she did so she wouldn't cause him more stress. She nodded understanding fully.
"I... made your favorite!! Dun dun dunnn! Spaghetti!!" Dawning said making it sound so dramatic on purpose.
DemiSpike looked at her. He didn't even look excited about it. Dawning's mood was dampened. He was always so excited about it... her ears drooped a bit.
"I'm not hungry," DemiSpike says.
Dawning felt more concerned. DemiSpike had never passed on his favorite dinner. Dawning knew something was wrong.
"DemiSpike? Is something wrong? You can tell me." Dawning said worried.
"I'm fine. I am just tired. Can I go and sleep please?" DemiSpike says looking a bit sad but annoyed at the same time.
Dawning is a bit taken aback by this but decides to let him go.
"..Okay. You can go. I'll leave a plate of food in case you change your mind okay?"
DemiSpike walks past without saying anything else.
"U-uh! Would you like juice with it-" Dawning almost finishes but decides to shut up to not bother him anymore.
A few hours later she trots to the living room. She was in the kitchen trying to entertain herself. She was hoping DemiSpike to come in and eat but he never did. She trotted into the living room only to see DemiSpike sleeping on the couch. She should be happy he's resting peacefully but she is just pained to see him so tired and burnt out. Suddenly she hears the front door open. She turns around to see her husband, Darky Night, come into the room.
"You seem troubled... everything okay?" Darky Night asks.
Dawning sighs and looks at the ground.
"DemiSpike has been coming home a lot... worse lately. He won't eat..." Dawning says.
Darky Night looks a little sad hearing this.
"I promise it'll get better. He is probably tired. It is school after all." Darky Night says.
Day after day. It got worse. DemiSpike came back home every day at first just ignoring Dawning or speaking very little. Then he started coming home very mad and not willing to talk. Then it came to a point where he started coming home crying. Dawning tried helping alongside Darky Night. It worked for a little bit till DemiSpike would be crying so much he just ran past them. Dawning and Darky Night got more and more worried each day.
Dawning and Darky Night sat at the kitchen table discussing this. It was clear DemiSpike was not okay.
"I don't know what to do... he isn't okay. I don't know if it's because of school... stress.. or..." Dawning hesitates to continue.
Darky listens understandingly. He is just as worried as her but knows he has to stay strong for her. Dawning continues to list possible reasons why DemiSpike hasn't been himself for the past month. He tries to figure out the reason as well but can't seem to figure out an exact reason. The two continue their conversation and try to figure out what to do next. They talk for hours trying to figure out their next step. Should they confront him? Should they reach out to Princess SunRise?
"I'd tell DemiTwi but she is in ManeHatten with DiTwi... so we're out of luck on that. She won't be returning until tomorrow..." Dawning said.
They continued to talk until they heard something. It sounded as if someone locked a door. The noise was loud enough to hear.
"Did you hear that?" Dawning asked.
Darky nodded and got up to check out the noise. Dawning followed a bit worried as to what it might have been. Dawning and Darky then found themselves at DemiSpike's bedroom door. The two looked at each other worried.
"DemiSpike? Are you okay??" Darky asks.
They heard faint sniffling at the other end of the door. What they heard next would make their hearts sink. After Darky asked DemiSpike who was at the other side of the door that question, They heard him say, "I can't do this anymore." In a sad and broken voice.
Without thinking twice Dawning immediately lit up her horn to grab a nearby piece of scissors and opened the door. The sight in front of her made her eyes fill up with tears. Darky immediately rushed over to DemiSpike and took the knife out of his claws. The poor dragon looked at them crying. Dawning tried to hold back her tears but failed miserably. She never thought a day like this would happen.
"DemiSpike..." Darky said.
"I-I'm sorry... I'm... s-so... sorry..." DemiSpike says sobbing and basically breaking down. He took his other claw off his neck showing something they would never wanna see.
Suddenly, DemiSpike lost consciousness.
When DemiSpike woke back up he found himself in a hospital bed. His parents standing on the side looking absolutely desperate for him to be okay. When they saw he'd woken up he immediately ran over to hug him.
Dawning and Darky hug him tightly. They are clearly heartbroken by what he tried to do. They just sat there hugging DemiSpike tightly in silence. The only thing breaking the silence was the crying DemiSpike was doing.
A few days later. DemiSpike was back in the house. Dawning stayed near DemiSpike to provide him comfort. He seemed a little traumatized from the day he tried to commit. Dawning's eyes perked up hearing the knocking on the front door. She gallops towards the front door and opens it. She is so happy to see DemiTwi and DiTwi at the front door waiting. She hugged both of them but looked at DemiTwi with a serious face. DemiTwi was immediately startled and knew something was terribly wrong.
"DiTwi? Can you give us a minute, sweetie?" Dawning asked.
DiTwi nodded and galloped to her room cheerfully.
"DemiTwi... it... breaks my heart to say this... but..." Dawning tried to continue but she found herself starting to tear up again broken from what had happened.
DemiTwi starts to get a little worried knowing what happened was something way beyond okay.
Dawning managed to calm herself a bit and explained to DemiTwi what had happened. DemiTwi's eyes widened. Her worst nightmare had almost come true and she wasn't there to stop it. She dropped to the floor and started sobbing to herself. She got up and galloped to the living room seeing DemiSpike look traumatized. She galloped to DemiSpike and hugged him tightly. DemiSpike knew that she had found out and felt so guilty. He also started crying due to his guilt and how traumatized from what he had tried to do. DemiTwi never wanted to see him in this state. Darky who had just woken up walked in with Dawning. They joined DemiTwi in hugging DemiSpike giving him a sign that everything was okay.
Everything will be okay.
What will always scare and make DemiTwi sad though is the mark on DemiSpike's neck. A terrible reminder that she had failed to be there for him.
Back in present day, DemiSpike was walking in Ponyville happily. He was happy until a pony stood in front of them.
"Hey! It's there weirdo! Haha!" The pony said.
DemiSpike looked down at the ground a bit sad.
Suddenly, DemiTwi teleported next to him her horn being lit. She was breathing very hardly showing how pissed of she is.
"You wanna say that again? THIS UNICORN IS NOT AFRAID TO BANISH YOU TO THE MOON!!" DemiTwi said.
The pony backed off in fear and ran away.
DemiTwi calmed herself down and picked up DemiSpike.
"Don't listen to them. You're adorable." DemiTwi said ruffling his head fur.
DemiSpike smiled feeling relieved.
