Wish the Day Went Without a Hitch
It was proving rather difficult to keep the entire station from going up in flames, or worse yet, being transformed into a massive cake or something by his magical flame.

Sparky, having calmed down for the most part, was wrapped in his security blanket by his adoptive father, and gently placed into his favorite locker to rest.
“Phew…well, at any rate, I’m glad you’re here, at this rate I’ll be surprised if we even make it to O&O! I’m beat!” the normally-energetic officer sighed, wiping sweat off his forehead.

“Be a sheriff. Whaddya say? For me?” Sunny giggled as she finished filling her friend’s head with naughty images, grabbing the keys to the one cell and jingling them.
Hitch gave a great big sigh. He knew he couldn’t turn down such an opportunity, to relieve the stresses of the day, with his beautiful best friend. “Oooooh alright, alright, Sunny, just a little bit.”

Despite her compromising position, hands and roller-skates feet handcuffed outside the bars of the cell, Sunny had to giggle. She was quite impressed at Hitch's remembrance of the Old Calendar. Maybe she rubbed off on him more than he would have liked?
"Did I hear a laugh, Sunny Starscout? What right do you have to be chuckling at this time? You are under investigation for conspiring to make use of alicorn magic to stir up trouble!" Hitch said, a slight grin on his face as well.
"As if I'd tell you that the Canterlogic building would be a perfect palace for me to bring about the return of alicorn rule again, a-..." Hitch's ears perked up considerably at Sunny's little villain-tirade. She quickly buried her mouth in one of her arms, wide eyed at what she'd just told the sheriff.
Hitch flashed his trademark movie-star grin, something starting to stir between his legs. Images flowed through his head. Naughty images. Of his best friend.
He could never get enough of such images, nor the actions that followed.
"So that's where the trouble's brewing...I see, Miss Starscout, and how about you inform me exactly what the SOURCE of this evil magic of yours was?"

The sheriff snorted and coughed, trying to keep a straight face. "Mucker?"
"ONE. WHO MUCKS," Sunny shouted.
Regardless of how terrible Sunny was at calling ponies mean names, the handsome officer was expecting resistance from her. That was exactly what he was hoping for, in fact.
So he flashed her a grin and took a seat on the floor, right next to Sunny's cuffed legs, and began to remove her roller skates.
"H-hey, Sheriff! What do you think you're doing? Let go of me or I'm gonna-"
"Easy there, Starscout. It's only gonna make things worse!" he said. It was a little harder than usual to get Sunny's feet uncovered, as he would usually be removing her sneakers. This time, he was dealing with her favorite roller skates instead. But with some extra effort, he was able to remove them and toss them aside.
Sunny's toes curled in her socks rather enticingly as they were freed from their roller-prisons. "Y-you don't know what you're dealing with! Knock it off!"
"Sure thing, alicorn. You tell me what your nasty little plot was, and today could be easier on BOTH of us," Hitch replied. His fingers pinched her big toes, peeling off her socks at the same time to reveal the prizes inside.
Upon the last inches of the socks being removed, the cuffed earth pony's feet crossed over one another. Hitch noticed that things were...a little bit different. He noticed a sheen of sweat on his friend's soles, which made them shine when they caught the sunlight streaming in. They felt extra warm that day, as if Sunny had just been let off work and was trying to cool down.
Something in that moment awakened in the proud sheriff. It was getting harder to stay in character.
Regardless of the appealing sight in front of him, Hitch pressed on with this ‘interrogation techniques’.

You will have the honour of ‘sampling’ our superiority…and you will LOVE it…” she commanded, trying to keep up her air of authority, of arrogance. She knew that saying such things, along with gently rubbing her feet together, would push his buttons.
Hitch’s face began to turn red at the rather enticing show that Sunny’s beautiful orange feet were putting on, his nose just about picking up their scent. “Y-you monster…I’m adding attempted harrassment, BRIBERY I might say, to your charges, Starscout…”
Though something in his lower body was disagreeing with his strong, law-abiding mind.
