Not every story has great superheroes who are destined to save the world, defeat an ancient evil, or something. Some adventures just happen to have ordinary mares who go through unordinary stuff. No one could ever know what would happen to them next in this weird, unorthodox, meaningless existence. Meet Twinkletoes: A teenage earth pony with a purple mane and pink coat has the trait of being the unluckiest mare alive. Obviously, she didn’t know that yet because, up until that faithful day, her luck was not out of the ordinary. She was living with her parents in Canterlot, and she was going to high school. A fairly normal life considering her cutie mark was a skull and bones, so she must’ve been destined to be a pirate, or so she thought. Soon, she would understand the real reason for her getting this specific cutie mark. However, she wasn't terribly concerned about her fate, her career, or her future—you get the idea. If you had to ask why Twinklestoes, I couldn't answer you. There was no specific reason that Twinkletoes was the victim. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. One day, while trotting around and stuffing her hoof, she tripped, causing her to fall into an unusually huge rabbit hole. However, instead of landing on the ground, she somehow landed on solid black concrete with her two legs.
“Wait, two legs?” she thought as her head looked down on her body with two arms and two legs sitting on a puddle consisting of blood, flesh, and bones. Fortunately for her, the first shock delayed the pain from her broken legs. As she looked around with immense confusion and shock, she saw huge paintings with shining lights and bright pictures, concrete towers, two-legged aliens with different shapes and colors looking at her perilously, and some weird types of chariots. She was surrounded by deafening alien sounds and the smell of blood. An alien woman near her instantly pushed her from the top of the blood and flesh puddle while screaming in terror. After being shoved, Twinkletoes' broken legs started to show up. The pain was like a cold, sharp knife that operated on her legs without anesthesia. She began to hyperventilate, sweat and blood (she wasn't sure if it was hers) started to pour down from her face, her heart was palpating as fast as a cheetah, and then she screamed. Her horrible scream was the last thing she heard as she was fainting near the corpse of the kid, which softened her landing.
"It's an unfamiliar ceiling," she said to herself as she opened her eyes in a hospital bed. Her back hooves were strapped with white cloth, and she couldn't feel her body waist down. When she tried to rotate her head, the pain made her almost regret the decision. Then she tried to move her other body parts. Two slender pink hooves rose up. Five worms of the same color were glued to each of these weird hooves, just like the bears that she saw in equestria. She continued to explore her body. As far as she can tell, she is no longer a pony anymore. As she moved the purple bangs that obscured her view, she started to observe her surroundings with care. Weird machinery was surrounding the walls and the bed; white was everywhere, and she was lying on a bed (at least this was familiar to her). Paranoia and fear started to fill her mind:What is this place?" "How did I end up in here?" "What happened to me?" "What am I?".
As she was experiencing a mental breakdown, two of those aliens were wearing white lab coats. Their mouths opened, and they started to spew out weird noises and gibberish words. Twinkletoes tried to communicate with them, but no coherent words came out of her mouth. This new body made it impossible to roll out the correct sentences. Then two creatures approached her and screwed around, touching the weird machinery and her. She was still unable to communicate with the doctors, and fear was rising. Twinkletoes started screaming; even she was baffled about the fact that she was able to make a sound this loud. Despite the pain and fear, her urges forced her to struggle against her captors. She tried to get up from the bed with every fiber of her muscles. Even though how illogical it is, even though how impossible it is... The doctors weren't expecting this crazy woman to flail her arms around meaninglessly and scream in terror. In response to the patient, who was probably going through psychosis, one of the doctors grabbed a weird mask and tried to cover her mouth with it. As Twinkletoe was breathing the funny gas, her eyelids gradually became heavier and heavier, finally shutting down for good.
Twinkletoes were in her house, in Canterlot. She was having tea with Princess Celestia (she had always been a fan of her). Celestia was telling her something in between her tea sips and cake bites; at least her mouth was moving as she was speaking. However, Twinkletoes couldn't make out the words that Celestia was uttering. It was like she was underwater, and all the noises around her were muffled. Princess Celestia started getting angry when Twinkletoes didn't even bother to answer or react at all. She grew more furious at the same time as Twinkletoes' house started distorting and breaking apart. An incredibly loud, deafening white noise filled her eardrums. Twinkletoes felt like killing herself to escape from the agony. Twinkletoes tried to scream, but no sound came out of her mouth. Her flesh started rotting and melting, exposing her bones.
As Celestia and the distorted space were inching closer and closer to his face, Twinkletoes woke up. She was in the same damn room again. But her arms and mouth were also restrained. She wasn't feeling anything anymore: no pain, no fear, no emotions... She was just waiting for her unavoidable fate, which was sure to bring her more suffering.
