The newly enthroned Twilight Sparkle has been plagued by the same nightmare for weeks.

A strange stallion interviews her before a crowd, where he confronts her with her greatest fears and doubts. But when she wakes up, nothing is amiss.

But as the nightmares continue to worsen and begin to affect her waking life, she begins to suspect something more sinister.

Recruiting the help of the now-retired Princess Luna, Twilight must delve into the very depths of her psyche to battle a foe unlike any other she has faced before or risk losing all that she is.
