Chapters The void...the endless abyss. A realm where there is only darkness, no light, no time, just...empty. The current inhabitants of said place was a soul that was struck in a accident that took away their life. Was this place their sentence? Did he committed a great sin to be placed here? Many questions ran though the poor soul as it could only observe the vast realm of nothingness that could become its new home. Not knowing how long they’ve been here, it could’ve been a few minutes or even centuries! But now a new feeling went through the soul as it floated aimlessly.
“I....am soooo fucking booooorrrrreeeeduh!” The voice of the soul groaned out in the void it occupied “is this this supposed to be my hell? Just being fucking bored? Cause that....isn’t all that bad of an idea, I’m going fucking nuts just talking to myself here but come ON. Let there be something to do! Is this like the Abyss from Dark Souls or from Hollow Night? Cause I’d like to meet the Shade Lord actually” The groaning of the soul turned to complaining at the sheer lack of anything to occupy themselves with.
“Huh?” Suddenly something appeared nearby that drew the soul’s attention. It was a light, a small light no bigger then that of the embers if a flame. ”Finally something to do!” curiosity and excitement filled the soul as he heading towards the light that slowly grew as it got closer “come on body-Er...soul form or whatever I call it, don’t fail me now!”
The soul struggled onward in a attempt to get closer to the growing light “not helping disembodied voice!” Exclaimed the soul as if there was something there to converse with “bitch don’t start that Hades shit with me! Love the game though.” Getting closer to the light the soul’s vision was soon blinding by it ‘ah turn it down!’ Before whatever form of consciousness it had was lost and soon the light vanished from the abyss along with the soul itself....
The sound of groaning is heard in the deep parts of the forest surrounding a body laying on the ground, eyes opening revealing sparkling rainbow pupils that looked in confusion at the sideways view of the trees infront of them. “Holy shit...am I alive?” The eye's owner said in a male tone lifting his head and arm up to rub his head. Blinking in confusion feeling a round edge against his head he slowly looked down to stare are a light gray furred hoof and arm moving as he moved it.
“What? What? WHAT?” His head going from random spots every time he says ‘what’ to see infact his body was that of a gray furred Equine with a black straight tail with a blue streak in it at the end of his flank. “I got turned into a fucking horse!?” He exclaimed as he slowly got up onto all four of his new hooves, getting a little shaky at the new balance he had to get used to. After a few minutes he managed to start standing straight he felt a strange...feathery stroke on his sides, turning his head he sees on each side of his body was a pair of folded “wings? I have wings? I HAVE FUCKING WINGS!?” He shouted out in shock once again...before a small smile started forming “okay that’s actually cool! Does that mean I can fly?” He tried shifting his body in a attempt to move his wings. Only to groan as they gave nothing by a twitch from his actions “Okay plan for later, learn to move wings and then fly” he muttered before giving out a giddy giggle at the ideas of him soaring through open skies.
His thoughts were interrupted as he noticed away was a small riveting flowing through the forest. He looked down at his hooves before taking a deep breath “Okay...time for next tutorial challenge...walking. So, I guess I move a front hoof with the opposite back hoof? Oh hey, it worked!” He said in joy as he gave a slow trot over to the river while following his own instructions, once at the river he looked down to see the water was clear and clean enough to see his reflections.
Much like his body his head matched in fur color while instead of his ears on the sides of his head like on his old body, they were near the top like a horse’s “Of course that’s the obvious thing” he rolled his eyes at this before seeing his hair or rather his mane was a curly unkept mixture of dark brown and black that reached down to the halfway mark of his neck “Okay, hair and eyes are new colors” he said looking at his rainbow eyes before trailing downwards, gasping softly at seeing the black beaded necklace around his well, neck with a white crystal hanging off it “this...is the necklace dad got me...” he lifts his right hoof slowly to lift the crusting closer.
A few sniffles came out as he felt tears well up in his eyes, letting his emotions out he lets out a few quiet sobs “it...it wasn’t a dream....I really died...I’m gone from home...” he choked out as he lets a a few tears leak out. After what’s felt like a hour but actually five minutes of quite sobs and sniffles, he makes to calm himself down, wiping away the remaining tears on his face and cheeks “Okay...*gulps* okay...I think I’m good” he said taking a few deep breaths and managed to get his breath back in control and not shaking anymore. A sudden thought occurred to him “wait if I’m a horse, doesn’t that mean...” he dipped his head head down to between his front and hind legs and stared for a moment.

“Hell Yeah! I’m hung like a horse-i Uh mean yeah I’ve always been Uh...that big...” He cheered out with a massive grin before stuttering and trying to act cool to no one around him “and it’s literal now too” he chuckled sheepishly before his ears shot up at the sound of twigs snapping before turning his head to trees nearby “Uh...hello?” He called out. Now response came until multiple pairs of green menacing eyes glowed in the darkness “oh....oh shit”
Our new stallion was currently facing off the newest arrival of feral wolf shaped animals made entirely from wood and sticks with the most ancient tactic know in history.
“FUCK FUCK FUCK!” A tactical retreat while NOT screaming like a little girl but like you know...a man!
He pants and ran through the forest while barely giving glanced back at his three pursuers before quickly looking ahead to avoid any bushes, trees, or large roots which was rather difficult since he didn’t really test himself going at sprinting speed yet!
“Come on! Why are you guys chasing me? Would I taste good!? Do you fuckers even need to eat, you’re made of wood!!” He shouted out before suddenly making a sharp back to the right, running around trees and through bushes, grunting at feeling thorns cut into him but keeping up his moment to NOT be wood dog chow!
Soon enough he busts through one last bush before tumbling and slowing himself to a stop after right at the edge of steep cliff that overlook a section of the forest “seriously? More trees?” He groaned out slowly getting up before gasping noticing the edge of the forest was nearby, along with seeing a tall building in the distance surrounding by smaller ones “a town! I’m almost free!” He said looking around for a way to his salvation. Only to freeze in fear as the three wolves from earlier coming out of his only path away from the cliff edge.
“S-shit...” he muttered getting back onto his hooves and slowly backing away as they stalked towards him “Good doggies...Let’s not do anything RASH!” He yelped the last part feeling his hind left leg slip when it reached over the ledge. Looking back at the edge before back at the wolves he lets out a gulp as he saw no way out...
*CRACK*
He blinked as the wolves stopped, all four looking down to see cracks in the earth between the two parties forming as it traveled across the stallion’s front hooves to the opposite side of the edge.
The two parties looked up at each other before the stallion spoke his last words “Ruh Roh Raggy...”.
The cliff broke off with his screaming as he plummeted down to the trees below.
”oh Angel bunny, where did you go?” A soft and gentle voice of a cream yellow colored Pegasus spoke out at a lower tone then a regular one, her long light pink mane covered the left side of her face as she looked around in worry and fear, mostly fear, as she trotted down a small path of the Everfree forest from her nearby cottage looking for her little bunny.
She whimpered and squeaked, shivering in place as a bush nearby shook. It lasted for a few more seconds until out of it came a small white rabbit that looked up at the Pegasus pony.
“Oh Angel!” She exclaimed in a normal tone, which is as loud as she usually makes it when she’s happy, as she quickly pulled the bunny into a tender hug “I was so worried about you! Coming into the Everfree forest! You know it’s dangerous!” The bunny only rolled its eyes at this usual protectiveness from his caretaker “why there’s so many scary and dangerous things here! Like giant spiders, timberwolves, or-“
She gets cut off when from up above something wrapped in vines yelled as it stopped just infront of her face revealing the groaning face and body of our current favorite stallion “ohhhh my whole body...” he groaned out before slowly opening his eyes “did I die again...?” He trailed off as his rainbow colored eyes stared into aqua colored eyes inches from his own.
Neither of them said a word as silence filled the area while they stared for at least a good full minute “Uh....” he started with a small wave of his only hoof sticking out of the vines tangling the rest of his body as he gave her a sheepish upside down smile.
“Hi?”
She took a deep breath before letting out a scream.

Hello welcome viewers! Welcome to my second crap attempt at making a story. If any of you saw my first story Equestria’s Unbeatable Will. You’ll notice I’m currently putting it on hold.
To those who read it thank you for the views and the thumbs up. I will be going back to it at a later date when I have a more sold idea for the story, cause there are some scenes and events I do want for it but for now I’ll be focusing on my new story here! Now I will tray to make a weekly update for it just so I can pace myself and trying to let out some new chapters.

Meeting the Kind Caretaker!
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
“Ah...my fucking ears” Our grey furred stallion protagonist groaned out under the screaming of the yellow cream color Pegasus Mare with long print pink hair as she jumped up in fright up into the branches above them as he stayed there hanging in the tangle mess of vines, unable to nurse is lightly ringing ears.
The scream died down to whimpers as the mare’s body shook in fear along with the branch she was clinging onto as if it was her only source of survival.
The stallion glanced up at the shivering Pegasus before looking back down to see a white bunny looking from the mare to him as the two looked at each other with the bunny actually shrugging in response to their silent communication.
Okay, So I guess bunnies are smarter or this is a special one? Honestly, anything’s better then those wooden wolves... the stallion thought to himself before looking back up at the Mare.
“Um...” she stopped her shivering and opened her eyes at hearing him starting to speak “sorry about scaring you miss but uh...you mind...helping me out of this?’ She looked back down at him during his talking before gasping in shock at getting a proper look at his situation.
“Oh my goodness!” She exclaimed...in a normal volume voice before she quickly flew back down as her fear was quickly replaced with worry “I’m so sorry, I was so scared that a monster jumped out. Don’t worry I’ll get you out of these things” she said as she starts flying around the stallion to work on the vines.
“Thank you so much miss...” He replied with a small smile before wincing and lets out a small his from her hooves pressing against his body a few times “just be careful please? That landing of mine through the trees kinda made me-“
*CRACK* *SNAP* *SNAP* *SNAP*
He was cut off as the branches above holding the vines broke off from the disturbance as they fell on top of him while the stallion himself landed face first on the dirt below “-sore...” he muffled out a whimper of pain.
“*gasp* oh no!” The Pegasus Mare exclaimed before landing on the ground next to the stallion and helps him onto his hooves while pulling off the vines now limp on his body “are you okay?”
“Apart from a pain across my body and other unmentionables? Just peachy...” he groaned out before hearing squeaking and looks down to see the same bunny on its back, clutching its stomach while swinging side to side as if it was laughing Oh great, a little rabbit is laughing at me. Well, I guess I can add in my pride to my list of injuries he thought with a frown and glare at the small animal.
The Pegasus mare’s worry grew as she was able to get a proper look at him now without the vines. Leaves and twigs covering and sticking out of his mane and tail, multiple cuts on his body and leg some even leaked blood! A large purple bruise on his upper ares of his front right hind leg, which is evident by the shaking of the leg to maintain pressure. But the worse she sees is his wings that are NOT supposed to bending that way!
“Oh dear! You’re hurt! Come with my, my cottage is just up ahead and I’ll treat your wounds the best I can” she said trotting up ahead of him a short distance away.
Normally he would be skeptical or hesitant to follow this Mare. But A, she decided to help him instead of fleeing even when she was jump-scared and B, he didn’t really had much of a choice or other options since he could and was NOT gonna try fixing himself with his now Equine body that he barely mastered himself. “Lead the way” he replied with a nod before following behind the Mare with a much slower pace due attempting giving his injured leg less pressure then the other ones. Luckily the Mare seemed to understand this as she stopped till he caught up and trots along side him to keep an eye on the injury Huh, She’s really nice for doing this... he thought to himself giving a small glance to the Pegasus who quickly turned her head away shyly from his gaze. The rabbit following the two ponies before looking back when it noticed something sparkling at the ground around the vines.
The two are now currently inside her home which was a small woodland cottage that, to the stallion, looked like it was apart of the nature around it along with the various small bird houses and holes surrounding the place. Somehow this seems fitting for her to live in. He thought as he was sitting on the large couch in the living room, now clean of forest debris while his cuts were treated and the more serious ones were bandaged up, which had little animals on them that he found adorable, as his wings were wrapped along with his injured leg that was now been given an ice pack by the cream yellow Pegasus Mare who has been treating him.
“There, all better. Luckily your leg and wings were not too bad, just some dislocations and bruises. But I want you to walk as little as possible and keep from flapping those wings for at least a week” she said with warm smile which he happily returned to her.
“Thanks a lot, I don’t know what would’ve happened if you weren’t in the forest...” he said before shivering a bit at the thought as he trailed off. Shaking his head clear of those thoughts, he focused back on the Mare who helped him “you know, you helped me so much that I don’t even know your name. Could I have the name of my kind doctor?” He asked as Her cheeks turned a bit pink at his title for her while she turned her head away, her long bright pink mane covering most of her face rather cutely to him.
“Oh...um...I’m....flutter....shy” her voice getting quieter at the end as she replied.
“Uh I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that?” He said leaning his head so his ear was facing to her direction.
“Um...my name is...Fluttershy.... her replied was slightly louder this time but the smile on his face was his reply as he pulled back his head.
“Fluttershy? That’s a nice and fitting name” he replied adding that adding that last part to his thoughts “well my name is Uh....” his mouth hung open as he stared blankly as much as his mind did wait...what’s my name? Why can’t remember it? Come on think you moron! Think! How can we not remember our name? Oh fuck she’s looking at us now, we’re taking to long! Quick say something! Anything! But try and make it a little cool too! Like Axel or Xander or- Ace! My name is Ace!” He quickly spoke out after his near nervous breakdown before giving Fluttershy a large smile when she was turning to him during his train-wreck of thoughts.
“Um, it’s nice to meet you...Ace...” she said in her soft tone with a small nod and smile to him “Um...if you don’t mind me asking...but, what...were you doing in the Everfree Forest? If it’s alright with you telling me...” she asked looking away while a small wave of her hoof
“Oh uh...yeah...so funny story” he said with a sheepish smile making her give him a curious look “I...actually just ended up there....”
“Ended up there?” She replied in confusion with a tilt of her head.
“Yeah, I don’t remember much except seeing a bright light and then I woke up in the forest” he said with a nod “waking up with nothing to me but my...” he lifts the hoof on his good leg to his neck, his bare neck.
Going wide eyes he looks down as his dread starts growing bigger “my necklace...where’s my necklace!?” He exclaimed frantically moving his head around for any signs of it.
“Your necklace? I didn’t see any necklace” Fluttershy said shaking her head as the panic rose up in Ace’s eyes.
“No no no! I have to find that necklace! It’s all I have from my dad!” He exclaimed getting off the couch onto his hooves, grunting and whining as his bad leg was giving pressure from standing up suddenly.
Fluttershy quickly went to his side before gently putting him back onto the couch “Don’t put to much pressure on your leg, I’m sure we’ll find your necklace once you recovered” she said going into nurse mode as he starts panting rapidly “now lets take some deep breaths nice and slowly” she takes slow long breaths in as Ace, through his small panic state, started joining in as his breath got much slower till it matched her speed. They did this for a few minutes as the fear and panic in his eyes was soon replaced with a calm state before closing his eyes doing one last exhale.
“Okay...Okay. I’m calm now” he said slowly opening his eyes before looking to his fellow Pegasus “thanks Fluttershy. That helped a lot”
“I’m glad I could.” She said with a smile, nodding to the stallion before continuing “Now, where did you last have your necklace?”
“Uh...I had it when I woke up, got chased by a pack of wolves made out of wood, fell off a cliff, crashed through some trees, and you pretty much know the rest. I remember having it when I fell so it might still be where we met” he explained as Fluttershy went wide eyes at his events.
“My goodness, no wonder you were hurt!” She exclaimed with a hoof to her mouth “that must’ve been so scary being chased by those...timberwolves” she shudder in fear at their name while Ace hummed in response.
“So that’s what their called...” he muttered before noticing a certain rabbit coming into the cottage from a small animal door “hey look who finally caught up” he said pointing to the rabbit.
“Angel?” Fluttershy said looking to where he was pointing before trotting over to her bunny “Angel sweetie, what were you doing out there? I just found you, please don’t tell me you were in the forest again?” She asked before blinking at the object in his mouth “what do you have-“
“That’s my necklace!” Ace exclaimed with wide eyes pointing at his black beaded necklace Angel dragged in with his mouth before Fluttershy scooped it up into her hooves.
“Oh Angel, you found his necklace! Mama is so proud, I’ll be sure to give you extra carrots for dinner tonight” she said happily while giving Ace his necklace back.
Angel looked confused at first before annoyed that HIS new accessory for his bed was taken, buuuut he guess he’ll let it slide with extra carrots for tonight.
“Well, I feel better now” Ace said proudly wearing his necklace again before looking up for a moment “oh right...I’m still homeless and broke...” he said out loud.
“Oh well...since your still injured...I um...wouldn’t mind if you stayed here till you recovered...” Fluttershy said going back to her usual shy self while hiding behind her mane.
“You sure? I appreciate, Really I do with everything else you’ve done for me, but I don’t want you to feel forced to let me stay” he said looking at Fluttershy in surprise at her suggestion.
“Oh no, it’ll be no trouble” she said with a shake of her head while pawing at the floor “I wouldn’t want you to add unnecessary pain to yourself while trying to find a place to live while still injured. Plus I um...wouldn’t mind having company over, I love all the animals I care for but...I’d like to talk to another pony sometimes...” she said with a pink tint to her cheeks looking at anything besides his eyes.
“Well...Okay, if you’re sure” he said with a nod before smiling at the mare “thanks Fluttershy, I’ll definitely help out with whatever I can” She was about to open her mouth to speak but he beat her to it “while only doing things that won’t act up my injuries, I promise” that closed her mouth up before she smiled and nodded in satisfaction.
“Well, I guess that’s okay with me!” She said with a bit of a giggle of excitement at actually having a roommate, she noticed the time before gasping “oh my so late, I’ll whip up something for us to eat before I have to feed my animals, how does cucumber and daisy sandwiches sound?”
“Sounds great, I’m starving” he replied with a smile and nod before Fluttershy headed off into the kitchen. Looking around the room as he sat alone now brought up some realization to him “Wow, first reincarnated, getting chased by wood wolves, got nursed and became roommates with a nice pony girl. Man wonder what tomorrow will bring...” he said before laying his head down on the cushion in relaxation and enjoy the quiet environment of the occasional bird chirping and small animal chitters.
Only for his eyes to open and ears shoot up at a sudden thought “wait....did she say cucumber and daisy sandwiches?”

Hello readers! Wow, less then a day after posting the first chapter and lots of supports and likes, way more than I thought it was gonna get! Thanks so much everyone!
Anyways, yes our unstable hero has met everyone favorite sweetheart soft speaking pony Fluttershy! Originally I was gonna make this whole chapter about him meeting each of the mane 6 but then my brain was like hey dumb dumb, we don’t have the attention span to do all that! and I agreed with that, so I’m gonna be splitting the first meetings off into different chapters each. I’ve got some ideas brewing for the first meetings but please comment about who’d YOU like for Ace to meet next! It may just happen~
Also, I tried to make The injuries an everything the best I could, I’m not a damn doctor so please don’t post comments about me doing something wrong with them and just call me an idiot about it. I know I am, don’t need to point it out...

Working for the Honest Farmer
It’s been exactly one week since Ace met, was admitted, and living with the resident caretaker of animals Fluttershy in the town of Ponyville. The name of which Fluttershy informed of quickly after their cucumber and daisy sandwiches i can’t believe I ate actual flowers...and it tasted good! thought said stallion as he walked down the main road of the town. His leg and wings were fully healed much to the surprise of his roommate/nurse.
”Oh my, I can’t believe they healed so fast” Fluttershy spoke out after it being four days after Ace started living with her. The stallion currently on the couch as she examined his healthier and repaired wings “and your leg is looking a lot better now, I don’t even see the bruise anymore”
“Maybe I was gifted with some super healing powers or something” Ace shrugged with a chuckle before gasping “Should we test and see!?” He asked with excitement like a school colt in Fluttershy’s. Only to meet a yellow hoof in-front of his muzzle with a stern look from Fluttershy.
“I don’t think so Mister, you are not gonna hurt yourself so some test, understand” she said with such authority in her voice that it made Ace feel like he was a child being scolded by their mother.
“Y-Yes ma’m!” He exclaimed sitting up straight with a quick nod as Fluttershy continued with what he would call the Stare for a full minute before softening her stare and nodded.
“That’s good, now it’s time to feed the chickens” she said before trotting off with Ace behind her.
“She could make a dragon tremble with that look I swear...” he said softly to himself enough that she doesn’t hear it.
Shaking his head from the memory he continued his trot till making it to the Main Market street Fluttershy gave him the directions too. Okay, The pony Fluttershy told me about should be about around here somewhere he thought while examining through the different stalls while looking past the heads of the other ponies. Another thing that Ace noticed was he was talllll compared to the other ponies, where some of the tall ponies would go to at least half way past an average pony’s height, Ace was almost a head and a half! taller then the average ponies.
Which would explain why he would get quite a few stares from bystanders he walked past, either for being the tallest pony they’ve seen or it’s because he’s the new pony in town. Either one didn’t quite help with his social anxiety from all the stares we was getting just ignore them Ace and find this pony already...
After some searching he noticed a stand with signs and buckets around it filled with the fruit he knows by heart were shiny red and green apples. Currently behind the stand was the pony he was looking for, an orange coated earth pony Mare with a blonde mane that went over her shoulder with a red band tied near the end, her tail a matching blonde with a similar band just like her mane, three freckles rest perfectly on her cheeks while her green eyes gave a welcoming warm greeting behind them. Unlike the other ponies she were a piece of clothing which was the brown Stetson hat resting perfectly on her head.
“Uh. Hi?” Ace said with a small wave to the earth pony who turned to his direction with a smile that matched her eyes’ greeting levels before waving back.
“Well howdy there partner, ah haven’t seen yah round these parts before. Yah must be new to Ponyville ain’t cha?” She replied in a country accent that Ace thought fit perfectly with her for some reason.
“Uh Yeah kinda, i came here a week ago after getting an....injury let’s just say and I just cleared and well enough to properly explore the place” Ace replied with a nervous grin and scratches the side of his head “I’m Ace, nice to meet YOU” he started while lifting his hoof up to the Mare before she suddenly grabbed it with a strong grip in her hooves as she shook his rapidly.
“Well ahm Sorry ta hear bout getting hurt, glad to see ya’ll are fine an walkin about now! The name’s Applejack and let me be tha first ta welcome our here hometown!” She exclaimed with a enthusiastic tone as she shook his hoof eagerly.
“Ni-i-i-i-ice mee-e-e-eting you-u-u too-o-o-o!” He spoke out in a shaking tone as she continued her Mach 5 hoofshake for a few more seconds before finally letting go. He panted a bit while rolling his sore shoulder around before looking back at Applejack “ya got quite the grip there...” he chuckled sheepishly with a small smile.
“Thank ya kindly! Years of hard work an life on mah family’s farm” She replied with a smile and tips her hat to him in gratitude.
“Speaking of which, I was actually hear to talk to you about hoping you had an opening to help out on your farm?” He asked scratching the back of his head “I wanted to pay back my friend who helped me recover and crash with her for the week but I don’t exactly got the...bits on me” he said with a sheepish look down to the ground “I don’t wanna keep mooching off my friend. I feel like crap if I don’t try and do something besides the regular chores”
“Well Ah can appreciate bout wantin to pay back yer friend, ah wouldn’t feel right mahself if Ah were in yer hooves. Tell ya what? Come by in an hour when Ah close up and we’ll head over to the farm. See what we can start yah with sugarcube” she said with a smile and a hoof to her chin as Ace beamed up at this with a growing smile.
“Really? Thank you so much! I’ll give it my all ma’m!” He said with a nod and a mock salute getting a chuckle out of Applejack and himself.
“Ah like yah already Ace! Here, on tha house” she said handing him a small bag containing four apples “ah little welcome gift to tha town and to new friends!”
“Amen to that! Thanks again Applejack!” He exclaimed happily taking the bag before trotting off as the two gave each other one last wave before he was out of sight. “Man she was really nice! Now I just gotta find something to do for an hour...” he said trailing off in his words as he pulled out one of the apples she gave him and took a bite out of it. His body froze in place as he felt the Apple chuckles and juices touch his tongue

“I have tasted the fruits of Eden....”
After recovering from the taste of the new deemed to him ‘Heaven’s Fruit’ which lasted about ten minutes, he explored around the town for a the rest of the time getting a lay of the land until an hour has passed and Ace returned to the market street. Seeing less ponies now and remembering where the Apple stand was, he was able to quickly find the earth pony Mare as she was putting on saddle bags before putting the rest of her supplies into a wagon cart.
“Hey Applejack!” Ace exclaimed waving his hoof as the mare turned to him at hearing her name before smiling at the stallion trotting up to her.
“Well howdy Ace! Ready to get yer hooves dirty?” She said with a greeting tip of her hat as she strapped the cart to herself.
“You betcha! I also wanted to say I LOVED those apples! Best ones I’ve ever had!” He replied with a nod and his smile grew at the memory of the taste.
Applejack lifted her head higher and puffed her chest out in pride at hearing this “well thank ya kindly there Ace. Mah family and Ah always make sure to make the best apples ya’ll ever eat in all of Equestria!” She said with a smile to the stallion as they started their trot down the road.
“So what would I start with when we get there? I’ve never really done any farming before but I am ready and willing to learn whatever you need me to do” He said looking down at Applejack with a curious look.
“Well guess we’ll start with some of tha basics stuff, tending tha animals, crop plantin, apple buckin, that sorta thang. But I’m sure we’ll find something that’ll stick with ya sugarcube” she replied with a hoof to her chin while listing off the job details before smiling up at the stallion.
“Apple bucking? I’m Uh...not familiar with that one” Ace said with a curious tilt of his head.
“Ah’ll explain it more when we get there. Don’t you worry there sugarcube” She said with a smile and nod to him.
For some reason I really like it when she calls me that Ace thought to himself before smiling back at the earth pony.
Ace looked ahead blinking noticing the area around them was different with a picket fence to their right with rows and rows of Apple trees stretched out as far as the eye could see. Soon they reached the top of a hill where they see into view was a large red barn-house with a few different animal pens around with different crop fields from wheat to corn and all different ones. Applejack chuckled a bit at his look of awe as she trots ahead of him.
“Ace, welcome to mah family’s home, farm, Pride and Joy Sweet Apple Acres!” She exclaimed with a tip of her hat.
After snapping himself out of his starstruck state, the pair of them entered the main entrance into the farmland as applejack properly puts away the wagon. They continued their trot as they hear the sound of something thumping against the wood. Following the sound, they are greeted to a large red stallion with a orange mane striking his hind leg against the Apple tree behind him, a second later the apples fell down into the buckets waiting around. He was about to pick up the buckets when he noticed the two heading over to him.
“Ace, meet mah big brother Big Macintosh, Big Mac this here is Ace and he’ll be helping out round the farm as a new hire” Applejack motion to each stallion as she mentioned them while Ace trots up to Big Mac. Despite being slightly taller then the red stallion, Ace could tell he had wayyy more muscles on him.
“Nice to meet you Big Mac, I hope we can work well together” Ace said holding up his hoof while thinking to himself his nickname sounds like the burger as Big Mac raised his hoof shook Ace’s.
“Eeyup”
“Farm work good to you?”
“Eeyup”
“Any complaints or problems?”
“Nnope”
“Prefer your actions to speak for you then your words?”
“Eeyup”
“Cool, I think we’re gonna work well together” Ace replied with a nod and smile to Big Mac who nodded back at his fellow stallion. Applejack looked at the two of them as they talked before shaking her head at this.
“Stallions”
With one last wave to the red stallion, Ace and Applejack continued their tour around the farm as she showed him the ins and outs of each of the different areas and what to do for each animal along with showing him what and where their food is. Though she did get surprised when he showed some knowledge already about the animals.
“Remember that friend I told you about that helped me?” He asked getting a nod from the mare “it was the Pegasus named Fluttershy, She’s been letting me stay with her while I recovered and I would help out with caring for her animals when I could or when she’d let me that didn’t strain my injuries”
“Fluttershy? Well that’s surprising, Ah know tha mare but could never get much of a conversation out Ah her whenever she bought some apples” Applejack said in surprise while scratching her chin with her hoof.
“She just needs to feel comfortable more around you, plus talking about animals sure helps get her into a happy mood” Ace said with a shrug “Though it was kinda tough at first since she and I aren’t the...best at making small talk” he gave a sheepish chuckled while scratching the back of his head.
“Well y’all just need tha right pony to talk with! Maybe down tha line we could do a meet and greet” Applejack replied with a nod and smile which Ace gratefully returns.
“Thanks, I’m glad to be friends with her and grateful she’s done for me. But it does feel nice getting a new friend now and then” he replied before looking up to see the sun getting close to the horizon “Well I better get back now, Fluttershy’ll get worried if I don’t get back before dark”
“Well shoot, I lost track of time mahself, gotta help granny with something real soon” Applejack said before the two exchanged a more casual hoofshake then her first one with him “Well glad tah have you on board now Ace. Get ready for some real work bright an early tomorrow, kay sugarcube?” She said with a smile which he returns to the Mare.
“Definitely, thanks again Applejack, see you tomorrow for my first day!” He said before heading off while she waved goodbye.
“Stay safe now!”
After getting past ear shot from the farm, Ace’s trot got a little slowly as he admired the orchards he could see before looking up at the blue sky slowly turning orange while the sun sets in the distance “Man...just a week in this new world and town and I already got a new job with some nice farmers. I wonder who else I’m gonna meet around this town.” He said before glancing a side down to his wings before sighing “wish there was someone around that could help out with my wings, Fluttershy’s been helping me move them and stuff but...” he trailed off looking up at the clouds that floated nearby with a look of longing on his face.
“I really wanna fly through the sky and just feel that...freedom...”
He noticed the sun getting lower before turning his trot to a gallop. “Better hurry up before Fluttershy gets worried”
While the new to the world stallion gallops away he doesn’t notice the nearest cloud he was looking at shifted and moved when he looked away.
Nor did he see the pony tail made with the colors of the rainbow hanging out of it...

Greetings and welcome as our bumbling new hero meets with his second element of Harmony, everyone’s favorite farm girl Applejack! And holy shit was it hard to figure how to do her accent! If there seems to be a problem or something is wrong with the accent, please go easy on me! Trying to write which word would sound like she’d say was hard to do!
im gonna go insane if I ever bring in Zecora...
But yup! Our buddy has his first job now! Will it stick? Will it be forever? Maybe who knows, you think I do! HA!
Anyways yup another mediocre chapter I somehow managed to barf out along with the DOZENS of thanks to all of your support, favorites, and thumbs up.
