“Oh yeah, she’s just in the kitchen, wanna come in?” My mind instantly cleared, any aspect of fear gone… nearly

I was still cautious and scared as fuck, but it was manegable

Anyway, who the hell is this guy?

And how does he know Luna…?!

Don’t tell me…

A SECRET BOYFRIEND!?

I thought her ass couldn’t pull!

Well, I should congratulate her on this massive achievement

I look behind me and begin to call out

“Yo Luna! Your boyfriend is here!” I yell out behind me

There was a bit of silence

It was hella awkward

“Pfft-” I looked back at the Sage to see he was trying to keep himself from laughing his ass off

“My boyfriend…?” She replied. Currently she was cleaning up her room upstairs, and as such was busy

“Yeah, the Tall, handsome, Aryan motherfucker at the door-!”

The second I finished, I heard a crash

In an instant, I felt a presence behind me from ‘Spatial Awareness’

I felt something hit my ankle, sweeping them into the air

A hand grasped the back of my head and pushed it into the ground, a knee being used to put pressure on my hand behind my back, as another hand restrained my other arm

“I apologise for my student’s attitude!” She borderline yells, as she kept her head down a bit

She was basically kneeling to the man

“It’s fine, really Lulu” He said, waving his hand

“...Lulu?” I didn’t even care about her pinning me to the ground anymore

Because I just gained the most perfect form of revenge

I saw her slowly lower her head to me

And when I saw her expression, I knew

I had hit the jackpot

I tried to keep myself from laughing, but I couldn’t

“Kek…Lulu~” I said in a sing song voice, as she increased the pressure on me

“U-Uncle! Uncle!” I yelled out and she let go, dusting off her knees

I got up myself, stretching my arm as the Sage walked in

“Wow~ This place is as half-baked as I remember it~” he said to himself, walking over to the living room and plopping himself down on the couch

“So, uh, Lulu, you mind explaining who this fella is?” I say, rubbing the parts of my body that were assaulted by my shitty master

She shot me a glare that would've scared me to death if not for ‘Gamers Mind’

“Well, you two were bound to be acquainted eventually… Nows a good a time as any other” She sighed and sat down as I did the same “Jin, meet Wukong, my master”

“Wukong…?” I furrowed my brows a bit in question “Like, Journey To The West, Wukong? The Monkey King, Wukong? That Wukong…?”

“Yep” She said, rubbing her temple

My mouth was wide open, and so were my eyes

“A-and why is he here…?” I stutter out after an awkward silence

“Oh, I can answer that one” The Monkey King responded, “I heard my dear little student had gotten herself a student for herself, so I decided to see who it was!”

“Oh, well, uh nice to meet you, Sir” I instantly change my tone of voice to be more formal in response, my posture subconsciously straightening out

“Master, where did you get this info from…?” I heard Luna speak, her face contorted in concern

“Abyss Mart” He said with a yawn, leaning his head back on the top of the couch

“And, what did they tell you about Jin…?” She asked, her fingers tapping on her lap in rhythmic manner

“Only that you had a student” He replied with nonchalance, fiddling with the strings of his hoodie “Where did you even find this kid by the way? I doubt you would teach someone who doesn't have potential, but from what I saw he was a pretty common find…”

“They” I correct absentmindedly, as his eyes roll to look at me

I felt a chill run down my spine as sweat droplets formed on my face

He seemed to be judging me a bit before laughing a bit

“My bad” He spoke coldly, but I could tell there was a hint of actual apology in his tone

“Uh, well… They're an innate ability user who I found online through some circumstances…” She sounded like she was trying to word her sentences carefully

“Online…? Well, I have just one question. How long have you been hiding them from me?” He turned his head to Luna, resting his chin on his hand

“What do you mean…?” She seemed genuinely confused at his statement

“Well, I watched a bit of their football match, and he displayed some skills you could only get with at least a year of Abyssal Training. Which means you've been hiding the kid from me for a while… So how long was it?”

“A Month…” The moment those words escaped Luna’s lips, I felt an intense pressure on my entire body

It felt like my lungs were being squished, as if my very being was getting crushed somehow

“Lulu~” A near malicious grin spread across his face “Are you lying to me?”

“I’m being serious” She spoke as if she was completely unaffected, as the pressure was released from me

I coughed and wheezed, my hand on my chest. Small amounts of blood shooting from my mouth onto the floor

“Oh~? Care to explain how it's possible then?” He said in amused tone

“They have a Demonic Mind” as those words escaped Luna’s lips, the situation flipped

With a smug smile plastered onto her face, Wukong’s eyes widened to a near impossible degree

Am I the only one out of the loop?

The hell is a Demonic Mind and why the hell do I have it?

“I may be a little weird, but calling my mind Demonic is a bit much” I say, as the mood switches to a more light hearted one

Wukong sat still for a moment before bursting out in laughter “Seeing as they don’t even know that, I believe you”

Luna realised that I was the only one out of the loop and sighed

“I'll tell you later…”

“Well, that's all my questions answered, I'll be on my way” Wukong said, standing up and stretching his muscles a bit

“Huh? Already?” I asked, completely forgetting about him forcing me to cough up blood mere moments ago

I mean, it's my fault for being so weak that something like that to damage me

Luna shot me her 53rd glare today

“As much as I would like to stay, I've got some unfinished business to take care of” He said, as he began to walk to the door

“Oh, before you leave. What should I call you?” I ask and he stops

“Eh, Wukong is fine” He opens the door

“That seems a bit too casual…” If Luna is my Master, and Wukong is my Masters Master then… “How about Grandmaster?”

He shot me a surprised look, before walking up and smacking me on the back playfully

“That's good enough for me!” He laughed and left just as quickly as he came

I let out a deep breath and collapsed onto the sofa

As much as I tried to be casual, there's only so much I could do, even with ‘Gamers Mind’

“Oh, what's with that Demonic Mind thing?”

“To put it as simply as possible, it's just a term for those with something inhuman about them. For you it's your Kinesthetic Sense. It's caused by mana leaking into the womb when your a baby. It's stupidly rare and impossible to artificially recreate. When it affects your brain or senses, it's called ‘Demonic Mind’, but when it affects your physical body, it's called ‘Heavenly Constitution’” She said with a sigh, the tension in her body finally being released after such an intense situation “Most Top Rankers have em. Just know it's a good thing”

Oh yeah the Rankings

Luna told me about it a while ago

Basically it's like a MMORPG and the rankings in that. Apparently there are also Rankings for specific countries as well

Luna said that those in the Top 100 are strong enough to wipe humanity off the face of the Earth in hours

Scary to think of, but thankfully people from the Abyss are forced to fight inside of Protected Spaces

“Speaking of Ranks, I never did ask what rank you were, Luna”

“Huh? Oh yeah you don't have access to the leaderboard yet. I'm rank 915”

“In America? I have a pretty strong master don't I?”

“Worldwide” She said with a smug grin

I try to not let the surprise affect me. I just sigh and speak

“I'm Surrounded by Monsters…”

Sorry if the dialogue seems a little forced and bland. This was just kind of an exposition chapter

Whilst this is based on "The Gamer", I want to explain everything in a way that allows people who haven't read it to know everything. There's also a lot of stuff that isn't from "The Gamer" that I made myself that I want to explain
