Twilight lets out a yawn as she enters the throne room. She has just came back from the Smokey Mountains, where she, along with Fluttershy, helped resolve a feud. However, it took a lot more out of her than she expected.

"Wow, you look exhausted. What happened?" Spike, her dragon assistant, asked.

"Oh, just solving a feud with Fluttershy's help. I just didn't..." Twilight cuts herself off with a yawn before continuing "anticipate it tiring me out like this. Then again, I had to endure a few veggies being thrown at me."

"Eugh! Certainly sounds exhausting." Spike replies.

As Twilight settles in for a nap, the throne room doors suddenly burst open, with Rainbow Dash and Applejack galloping into the throne room excitedly and shouting "TWILIGHT!!!" in unison, causing her to sit up suddenly.

"WAH!!! What's going on, now!?!" Twilight questions in her startled state.

"Rainbow 'ere has a fancy new power!" Applejack exclaims excitedly.

This surprises and excites Twilight, bringing a wide grin to her face. She teleports over to them the moment Applejack finishes her sentence. Then, she starts giddily firing off questions such as "What's the new power?", "How does it work?", "Is there a limit?", and many other questions. Then, Pinkie Pie rolls in like a wheel and lands on Twilight. Not realizing Twilight is under her, she jumps up and down giddily.

"Rainbow Dash has a new power! Rainbow Dash has a new power! Rainbow Dash has a new power! Rainbow Dash has a-hey, where's Twilight? Rainbow Dash has a new power! Rainbow Dash has a new power!" She repeats while jumping.

"Pinkie! Stop! Jumping! I'm! Right! Here!" Twilight puffs out while she's being flattened like a pancake.

Pinkie stops jumping and looks down, still standing on Twilight. Pinkie lets out an "Oops!" before hopping off of Twilight, who then slowly stands up while groaning from the pain. After she dusts herself off, she clears her throat and speaks.

"I was already alerted of this, Pinkie." Twilight begins before turning towards Rainbow Dash. "Anyway, can you describe the ability you found?"

Rainbow Dash replies, "You betcha!"

She proceeds to describe, in brief detail, what occurred and how she found it. During this brief description, Twilight jots down some notes to use for later; while doing so, she has a feeling that she's heard of this kind of ability before, and she remembers it being tied to an item like the one Rainbow Dash had found. Despite knowing she saw a picture of it once, Twilight couldn't pin the item.

"Just out of curiosity, Rainbow, what did this item look like?" Twilight asks curiously.

"Um, I think it was some sort of glass cube on a metal disk. And I think the glass cube had a green arrow in it. Not like from a bow and arrow, but like a directional arrow without the line on the back of it."

Twilight attempts to draw what Rainbow Dash has described and lets out a gasp of surprise once she finishes. Everyone in the room looks at her, somewhat worried about why she gasped in such a manner. When they see her face, however, it looks as though she's found a lost trinket she once had. Or, in this case, a lost piece of knowledge.

"I-I know this item! I've seen it in a book shortly after I became Princess Celestia's pupil!" Twilight cries out.

With eyes widened, Applejack replies, "Hold on a tick, that fancy power of hers is in a b-?"

Applejack is interrupted by Twilight speeding off to the library. The other three, along with Spike, gallop after her in the hopes that she's trying to find the very book she mentioned; it isn't long before Twilight finds just what she's looking for.

"Here it is! My Ponish translated copy of 'The Complete History of the Chozo'!"

Applejack, a bit confused, inquires "What the hay are the 'Chozo'?"

Twilight opens the book and quickly flips the pages, not even paying attention to Applejack's question. Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie zooms over in front of Twilight, looking at the book.

"Holy pony moly! That's a big book!" Pinkie exclaims.

Finally, Twilight stops at the page and lets out a hearty "Aha!" before motioning everyone to come over. Once everyone has gathered around, she proceeds to read from the page.

"Speed Booster. A powerful artifact provided that one's legs are in a good condition. Once used, the wielder can run at high speeds and create an energy field around themselves, allowing them to destroy a special block as well as creatures of sizes ranging from as tiny as a kago to as large as a Zebesian. Furthermore, the wielder can tap into a secret ability not known to many. This ability is known as the Shinespark, which allows the wielder to fly in a straight line in any direction provided that they have the Shinespark stored."

Rainbow Dash gasps and cries out, "An artifact gave me powers!?! Epic!"

"It did, but...why would a Chozo artifact randomly be in Equestria?" Twilight asks, perplexed.

"Who cares why it was there? I have a new power that's totally rad!" Rainbow Dash shouts with delight.

"Now now, Rainbow. Remember what the book said? Ya can't go buck wild with that fancy power, or ya may just cause a rather...unsavory mess." Applejack warns.

"Gotcha. Don't use it like a crazy pony." Rainbow Dash confirms.

Twilight closes the book up and returns it to the shelf before turning to exit the library. Of course, the others exit the room with her. As they head back towards the throne room, Twilight turns her head towards Rainbow Dash. Before she can speak, however, something crashes through the roof and onto her head.

"TWILIGHT!!!" the others exclaim in unison.

Fortunately for them, Twilight has simply been knocked silly and is just saying gibberish. Once they've assessed that their friend is alright, they look down at the object that dropped from the ceiling. It's a purple orb made of glass; inside of that orb appears to be an orange, Z-shaped lightning bolt glowing inside. All of them gasp before Rainbow Dash speaks.

"Someone get that Chozo book and see if this is in it!"

"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie Pie confirms as she zooms back towards the library.

As Pinkie retrieves the book, Rainbow Dash picks up the object. Suddenly, she feels the urge to do a somersault. She follows her instinct and is instantly enveloped in a white force field surrounded by blue, pink, and purple electricity that swirls around her. She lands, and her eyes instantly widen and she is shaken. She slowly turns towards Applejack and Spike.

"I think we have a problem."
