Reconnecting with Old Friends
One night in a kingdom in the south forest outside Canterlot City was a kingdom of dragon vampires. And one of them was looking out the window. Her hair color was pale and silver, and her skin is white. Her dragon-like vampire wings were a feature and was on her back. And her formal fall dress is reshaped into a light-yellow ball gown. And her hairstyle turns into Belle's hairstyle. And she had on a necklace that has the ability to make her normal and retain the dragon like vampire form. This was Scootaloo. And opening the door was another dragon like vampire only this was a male and her boyfriend Rumble.
"Hey honey. You ok? Is something on your mind?" Rumble asked.
"Oh hey babe. I was thinking about my two friends from years ago. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. I haven't seen them for a long time now." Scootaloo answered.
"Yes it has been years now. You know what? I think it's time to pay your friends a visit and I'm bringing two of my friends along with me. Button Mash and Tender Taps. Fun fact they are also dragon vampires as well. We were childhood friends when we were little." Rumble said.
"Babe. You really mean that? That is so sweet of you. But how will they understand the necklace that gives me the ability to turn into a dragon like vampire?" Scootaloo asked.
"Don't worry. You gotta used to the form so I will explain why you gain it to them." Rumble answered.
"Ok. So when will your two friends arrive so we can go reconnect with my old friends?" Scootaloo asked
"Not much longer now." A voice said.
They turned around and saw two other dragon like vampires at their bedroom door. They were Button Mash and Tender Taps. They smiled and the four headed for the carriage where Soarin and Thunderlane were and got in. Then it rode off to Canterlot City so they can reunite with Scootaloo's old friends.
After two hours they finally arrived at Scootaloo's original home. They got out of the carriage and Rumble knocked on the door and waited. After five minutes the door opened and it was her mother and father and also Rainbow. They were all teary eyed seeing her again after so many years passed and as luck would have it Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom were there to and they hugged their friend after so long.
"Scootaloo!! Oh we missed you so much!! Where have you been? And what are you wearing?" Sweetie asked.
"If you must know I have been living with Rumble in his kingdom. And as your what I'm wearing I needed to look the part for being a vampire. So when Rumble bit me my clothes changed too." Scootaloo explained.
"Oh. Well that certainly explains the outfit your wearing." Apple Bloom realized.
"Yes. And Scootaloo were glad that you and Rumble's decided to come here to visit us. We haven't seen you for a few years now." Windy said.
"Although what's with the dragon like features? I definitely don't remember Scootaloo having these when we last saw her." Bowhoof asked.
"Yeah. You didn't place a curse on her did you?" Rainbow wondered.
"No he didn't. But perhaps we should explain why she has these dragon like features on her." Tender suggested.
"Yes for they deserve an explanation. Well if you will allow me and my friends to explain we will tell you everything. You see when we first found these special necklaces that were wearing now we realized that it gain us the ability to turn into a dragon like vampire. Now during the day we become human and blend in with the mortals. But when night comes our necklaces glow and allow us to regain our vampire forms." Rumble started.
"Yes. And once we gain those forms we also have dragon like features on us. Like fire breathing, dragon wings, and much more that might take too long to explain." Button added.
"And since Scootaloo is now living with me I needed to help Scootaloo learn how to master her vampire dragon form, with the aid of my two friends when she first came here. See mastering a vampire form can take a lot of time and effort to perfection. And not to mention that we also needed to remain control of our humanity. We may be vampires but we are not heartless ones." Rumble continued.
"Exactly. And when Scootaloo managed to master her form well we had to remind her what will happen during the day and the night. So that way she doesn't forget and she doesn't scare anyone that lives outside of the kingdom in the south forest." Tender said.
"And one more thing. The reason why she didn't come to visit you sooner is because since becoming a vampire princess with me their were some responsibilities we needed to take care of due to being a prince and a princess. So were sorry if we worried you too much." Rumble apologized.
"It's okay. At least now we know that you are keeping Scootaloo safe. And we understand that you two have responsibilities as prince and princess so we totally get it. But Rumble? Would it be ok if you and Scootaloo stayed here for dinner? We wish to hear what you and Scootaloo have been doing since you were gone." Windy offered.
"Sure ma'am. I'm not one to turn down a polite offer." Rumble answered.
So they all went to the dining room and shared a meal and Scootaloo shared some stories during her time with Rumble in the kingdom. After that delicious meal they left and said goodbye to everyone and promised to visit them real soon. Back at the castle we see them in the throne room where the king and queen were as they made Soarin their bodyguard.
"Now Soarin. Since you achieved this position of being the bodyguard there's something you must vow to do." Queen Nightfall said.
"And what is that Your Highness?" Soarin asked.
"I want you to promise me that as the new bodyguard you will do everything in your power to protect my sons Thunderlane and Rumble from any harm that may come later in the future." Queen Nightfall replied.
"I promise. From the bottom of my heart that I will do everything in my power to protect your sons and Rumble's girlfriend from harm and danger. You have my word." Soarin vowed.
"Thank you Soarin. Ok. Everyone is dismissed. Guards return to your posts and Rumble? It's time for you and Scootaloo to get some rest." King Stargaze said.
So everyone left the throne room and with the royal couple of Scootaloo and Rumble they went straight to the bedroom and changed into their pajamas. After Rumble sat down on the bed Scootaloo sat on his lap.
"Rumble. Thank you for letting me reconnect with my old friends. It definitely proves that you are pure of heart and are worthy of me being your girlfriend." Scootaloo smiled.
"Anytime my love. Since I truly love you it only feels right that I let you reconnect with the ones you grew up with and take a trip down Memory Lane." Rumble said.
Scootaloo had a few tears coming down her eyes and smiled. She then kissed Rumble on the lips and then the two laid down on the bed and cuddled each other.
"Well babe. As much as I love to stay up and kiss you I'm afraid we must get some sleep to rest up for tomorrow." Rumble said.
Scootaloo agreed as she turned off the light.
"Goodnight honey." Rumble replied.
"Goodnight sweetums." Scootaloo said.
And like that the two fell asleep and went to dreamland. And it just proves that Rumble isn't a selfish self absorbed vampire. He really cares for Scootaloo and with allow her to do the things she likes and he has no problem with it. Yep there lives will be perfect in holy peace.
