"I'm gonna walk around for a while, can you watch Cookie?" I asked Scorpius.

"Can do." Scorpius replied.

I headed out and walked around a while. I went a bit aways from the village and headed toward one of the nearby lakes. Suddenly a flash of light came from above the clouds, and I saw a pony fall from the light. I hurried over to where I thought the pony fell. When I got there, the pony was already awake, and looking in the lake.

"No, this is me." the other pony muttered.

"Are you quite alright?" I asked.

"Y-y-yeah." The pony stuttered. His voice was very deep.

I happened to notice that he had a horn and wings.

The Pony of Shadows? No, it can't be!

"What's your na..." I was cut off by a strong gust of wind that blew away my hat.

I started chasing it, since it was once my mothers. I couldn't catch up to it. I slowed down to catch my breath, and I saw the alicorn from before fly over me, I chased after him. When I caught up to him, he had my hat under his hooves, and he was lying down panting hard.

I started chasing it, since it was once my mothers. I couldn't catch up to it. I slowed down to catch my breath, and I saw the alicorn from before fly over me, I chased after him. When I caught up to him, he had my hat under his hooves, and he was lying down panting hard.

""I'm terribly sorry, here let me help you up." I said, as I rushed to his side

"No, I'm fine." the pony said, but I didn't believe him.

I helped him up, he winced. That made me feel really bad, even if he was the Pony of Shadows. Who knows he could have changed?

"You can stay at my place." I said to him. He begrudingly agreed to let me help him.

As I walked with him I wondered, if he really was the Pony of Shadows, how come he is you know, not a shadow? He certainly looked like the Pony of Shadows. He was a very large pony, with big muscles, and of course the shadow-y color of his body. If he was really the Pony of Shadows, what would his dick look like? I cleared away those thoughts.

When we got to the house I unlocked the door and led him to the couch. He collapsed before I could say anything.

About a minute later, Scorpius walked into the room, but stopped dead in her tracks.

"Holy shit! Is that the..." Scorpius was cut off by me.

"I don't know." I whispered.

"Keep it down, he's sleeping you know." I added.

I woke up a while later at the usual time of 6 am, but unlike where I had fell asleep, I was on the couch. The alicorn from yesterday was on the floor curled up. I blushed deeply, seeing as how niether Scorpius nor Cookie could have carried me. I smiled and made breakfast.

I cooked the bread that I let rise overnight, and made bacon and eggs. I got out plates and cups. I set down the bacon and eggs once they were done and went to get water from the well.

When I came back the alicorn was awake, but he looked sleepy still so I continued making breakfast. I set down the pitcher of water on the table, and pulled out the bread. I cut up bread. The alicorn, was now sitting up and staring at his hooves.

I walked over to him.

"Morning! I do believe we haven't been properly introduced yet. My name is Anthony Mouse, but you can call me Mouse." I said happily as I handed him a slice of bread.

He quietly chuckled and said, "Mouse."

"My name is Sty..." He stopped.

He thought for a moment and then said, "No, I can't lie to you."

"I'm the Pony of Shadows." He said, quite sadly.

"I figured as much." I said.

"Shadow. Has a nice ring to it." I added.

He smiled.

"Well, breakfast is ready, help yourself to it. I'll be right back."

I headed up the stairs and knocked on Scorpius's door.

"Breakfast!"

"Okay, I'll be right down." She replied

I headed over to Cookie's room. Cookie was in her crib babbling and playing with her hooves.

"Goedenmorgen Cookie!"

I picked her up, changed her diaper and got her in day clothes.

Then we headed down the stairs. I placed her in the high chair at the table and gave her scrambled eggs. small bits of bacon, and mushy bread.

"Eeee!" Cookie babbled in delight.

I began eating breakfast and then Scorpius cam down the stairs.

She looked at Shadow and froze. She continued heading down and got breakfast. She cautiously sat down and began eating, not once taking her judgmental eyes off Shadow.

Once she was finished she whispered to me,

"Are you seriously letting him stay here?!"

"Yes I am." I said as I cleaned up the table.

I put the dishes in the sink, and got a napkin for Cookie. I wiped off her face and hands.

"Lekker." She said to me.

"Ja, het ontbijt was goed."

"Dank je Muisy!" she said.

I smiled at her and picked her up out of her highchair.

The Pony of Shadows was staring at his hooves again. He must have a lot going through his head.

"Here." I said, offering for him to hold Cookie.

Shadow took Cookie and held her.

"Hi little one." He said to her.

"Muisy?" she asked him.

"No, Shadow." he said.

"Shadowy!" she exclaimed.

She pulled on Shadows mane and climbed to the top of his head, and began chewing on his horn.

"Owwwww." Shadow whispered.

He used some of his magic to gently lift her off his head.

Cookie giggled.

"You're really good with kids." I said.

"Thanks." he replied blushing.

"I took the day off, and Cookie is going over to the school for an event that was set up by come of the graduating fillies, called Little Filly Fun Day!

"Okay." he said.

"I'll be right back." I said as I set Cookie down.

"Cookie." I said as I opened the door.

Cookie babbled as she walked to me, I picked her up and placed her on my back.

I headed out and dropped her off at the Little Filly Fun Day.

When I got back to the house, the Pony of Shadows was looking at his hooves again, deep in thought.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked as I kneeled down beside him.

"No, I'm not." He snapped. "I don't know who I am anymore, I've lost everything."

"You've lost a lot, but you are gaining so much too."

I hugged him, and flirtatiously whispered, "You've just gained a girl."
