After the Friendship Games, CHS and CPA get along for the most part. When a Canterlot High student goes missing after a party with two schools and is later found with a Shadowbolts jacket, the relationship quickly dissolves with the Wondercolts blaming the Shadowbolts and the Shadowbolts ending all contact with their former rivals minus a select few.

More students get injured after, all sharing one thing in common: they have some relationship with the Rainbooms.
